I love how warriors is the one who always asks paramedic-style questions when someone’s hurt
He’s asking questions not just to distract, but to see how bad the wound has impacted mental functioning “maybe we should be worried, because that’s not what I asked”
Calling by name to draw attention, asking easy questions…
Like look at his face in each panel, how closely he’s watching while talking to assess the damage
He’s always the one taking action in first aid (though obviously he can’t do magic stuff like hyrule but outside of that it’s him)
Wars is a captain, he’s trained and has had to take care of wounded, so he knows how to take care of not only the physical but the mental impact of injuries as well, and he always comes through for it.
I just kinda think that’s pretty cool

I’m so sorry to harp on the Selkie thing but a friend on a server brought up the idea and I had to share it. Selkie pup Jason in a bat björn. He got tired on patrol so Bruce offered to carry him. Batman refuses to acknowledge it when a rogue or cop brings it up
Little known gotham fact: batman's cape has a little attachment on it so it can be wrapped around a small creature (say. a baby. or a tiny seal.) like this

Mayhaps your thoughts on how foul legacy/childe would view and interact with a Divine Creator trope?
i assume you mean SAGAU where you're viewed as a god rather than as an imposter, and ask and ye shall receive!!!
although he serves the Tsaritsa, Childe's true devotion lies with you, like almost all of the Harbingers. the Divine Creator, the one who carefully crafted Teyvat and all who live there, hung the stars in the sky, mapped out the cycle of fate- truly, your power surpasses all of Celestia and the Abyss, and Childe is only happy to bow to the one who gave life to the world. Foul Legacy worships you even more somehow, the entire Abyss holding you in reverence, as the one who gives them strength while all above the surface scorn them. he's sworn to serve the Creator, should he ever meet you- what will he become at your hands? a servant? an assassin? a weapon of war? whatever you decree his fate to be, Foul Legacy accepts it with open arms and a steeled conviction
none of these, as it turns out. you're quiet and uncertain when you meet Childe- quite odd for such a powerful deity- but your eyes light up when he tries to show you his use through his Foul Legacy transformation, reaching up towards him with a soft smile. Legacy tilts his head curiously with a chitter- perhaps you want him to be at your height? - and lowers his head slowly. but you simply put a hand in his hair, ruffling the coppery locks and scritching behind his twisted horns, and Foul Legacy's single, crystalline eye flares, then dims as he melts against your touch. Childe's Abyssal half begins to purr, carefully slumping onto the ground so he can focus entirely on leaning against your hand, being as close as possible. your smile grows with delight, and all of Teyvat hums with your happiness as you pet and caress a rumbling Foul Legacy, both of you gazing at each other adoringly
the Creator said, to the Eleventh Harbinger, "Please, be my friend." and so he agreed, and never left

Despite how obviously chaotic the other boys are I think that two things are actively disadvantaging and maybe even endangering Time rn
1) his worry for Twilight’s welfare and that of the others
2) his penchant for distancing himself from others.
He’s healed a lot from his adventures and the trauma of them thanks to time (heh) and Malon’s kindness, patience, and unconditional love. HOWEVER the things we endure remain with us even if they do not hurt quite so badly anymore (especially when they occur in such drastic ways during such formative years). Somewhere inside (perhaps not so deep now) is that terrified little boy who won’t allow himself to trust or love again. Who doesn’t want to get too close cause “nothing ever lasts”
He’s used to going it alone. He’s spent longer being solo than he has being married or teamed up with the other Links. His approach to tackling dungeons — whether chaotic or organized or somewhere in between — has always been the same.
Alone.
He’s the one who plummets down endless abyss.
He’s the one who bleeds and breaks and gets lost.
He’s the one who figures it out in the end.
And that’s okay. Because it’s lonely. It’s scary. But it’s only him who is in danger. And he can deal with that.
“You laugh because you know it’s true”
“You laugh because when it’s you who drags yourself home half-dead, it’s ok, it’s under control, but when it’s one of our boys…”
When it’s only him he doesn’t have to worry so much. He’s got a certain degree of control (real or imagined). And that is what he’s grappling for right now. Control to change a terrible fate he still sees looming. Control to keep his boys from suffering the way he has.
But now, with this last update, he realizes he doesn’t have it.
And while his expression here makes me laugh, it also saddens me. Four’s right and he knows it, he’s trying to resign himself to it.
Them remaining together — remaining with him, under his watchful eye — will end in their deaths at this point. It’s just not working.
He’s virtually powerless to keep them all safe. He’s the Hero of Time and he’s virtually powerless.
And that might just break him. Because the fear is still there. The fear that something will happen to one of his boys and he should’ve been there. He should’ve been there to stop it.
But he wasn’t.
Like he wasn’t there to protect the others from the Iron Knuckle
And that will consume him, weaken him. Until the Shadow can exploit it
