Legit question: would it be weird to tell someone
“It makes me happy to know you exist”
Bc like… that’s a sentiment I feel a lot esp when I don’t have the ability to interact as much as I’d like to with people but I see them living their lives and it gives me deeply good feelings
Like regardless of whether we cross paths I know you well enough to appreciate you’re part of the universe and that fact brings me joy
Like is that inappropriate in any way?

Just saw someone ask for someone's irl age in their bio for "safety" or some shit and--
Friends, I'm telling you: this is the internet. There should be no expectation of access to your personal information.
Say nothing! Or if that doesn't work for you, fucking lie. Use a pseud! Say you live in a snail's shell off the coast of New Brunswick! Answer every info-gathering question asked of you with a different, less comprehensible answer! Tell anyone who says you've got to put your real age in your bio that you're 85, ta ever so, and they're very rude to bother you with this!
But your first step to internet safety is to say nothing.
Make it harder for bad actors to find you, manipulate you, or steal all your shit.
The good actors won't fucking ask.

arthur (prince of camelot) still has to study under a tutor bc yknow uther wants him to be very intelligent before becoming king or something bc its super important idk idc anyways merlin is doing chores in his chambers while arthur is squinting at a book and merlin eventually caves and asks him what he’s reading and arthur gruffly explains that its a collection of stories from greece that make absolutely no sense so merlin asks him to read them outloud to him. arthur of course teases him and calls him an idiot and asks how he could possibly help but does as he’s asked and reads the stories to merlin as he does his chores. merlin (being crushed under the weight of destiny and tormented by the prophecies that kilgharrah spews) understands the stories almost immediately and gets all excited and starts rambling about them with arthur. arthur is glad to have someone who understands so he can give something that reflects a hint of understanding to his tutor who accepts it and moves onto the next unit of education.
the thing is, arthur finds more stories in camelot’s library and brings them up to his room to read them aloud to merlin under the guise of completing his studies but really he just wants to watch as merlin’s eyes gleam when he understands whats happening and listen to him ramble on and on about them bc he’s gay. the stories stick with merlin though and he realizes that they’re cautionary tales, that the heroes who were told too much of their future doomed themself to fulfill them - that them fighting the prophecies led to their completion. merlin takes it to heart and gives a big “fuck you” to kilgharrah before forging his own fate and helping morgana with her magic and handing out an olive branch to mordred and now everyone can live happily and peacefully in an albion teeming with magic.

I love that star wars tells us time and time and time again that the only thing a person needs in order to make amends is the desire to. And if you want it enough to work for it, then there’s a place for you to bring good back into the world.
Emerie and Rampart in TBB finale both had opportunities to switch sides the only difference between them is that Emerie wanted it and Rampart didn’t. And the narrative treated them accordingly. And rather than treating Emerie like the evils she did were the only thing that would ever define her, Echo said “fine, if you want to help, then help” and those kids got out of there because of her.

Adrien sat beside her on the bed, enveloping her hand in his. Their wedding bands gently clinked together. “It feels weird to be back here,” he said.
“Weird in a good way or a bad way?”
“A good way,” he said, smoothing his thumbs over her knuckles. “It feels like being transported back in time.”
Marinette hummed in agreement, lying back against the soft white sheets. “Yeah. It feels like only yesterday we were ‘just friends.”
The bed bounced lightly as Adrien settled beside her. “We can still be that.”
A snort rose from her nose as she giggled. “Oh, god. Let the joke die.”
“Never,” he laughed. Climbing over her, he rested his arms on both sides of her head before leaning down to peck her lips. “You’re my platonic wife.”
“I am not!” she squealed. His lips tickled when they brushed her neck, and she squirmed.
His laughter reverberated across her throat. “You are.”
“No!” she said. He poked her side, and she squirmed away, laughing as his fingers dug into her most ticklish spots. “No, no!”
“Admit it,” he teased, tickling her waist. “You like me as a friend.”
She wheezed, out of breath. “That’s it, I’m officially putting you in the friendzone.”
it's finally completed! thank you everyone for going on this journey with me 💖 (this is not an april fool's joke, i promise! it's real!)

thinking about Orym not just telling Ashton that he cares about them, but the things he says after: I get it, to a degree, I do. You would never fuck off. You really do have a soft heart. I know you mean well.
there was so much questioning of Ashton and his intentions by the other Hells, accusations that he was power-hungry and that he didn't care about them, that he manipulated or coerced Fearne into giving him the shard, that he was just a "bad" person. even the new shared understanding they had by the time they left for the Feywild, that Ashton took the shard because he was misguided and mired in self-loathing, only gets reported back to Ashton in pretty obtuse ways.
Orym has the benefit of getting time to think, and who knows what he would have said or done had Liam been there for ep 78. but even still he's the first to tell Ashton not just that he cares about them but also that he sees the good in them. most people have never bothered to even look for that. if Ashton can even see it right now it must seem tiny, meaningless, completely drowned out by all the bad in them.
and the other Hells do see that good, to varying degrees, even now. they love Ashton too, and they love him for a reason. but the first one who actually thinks to tell Ashton that is Orym.
