Hooo I get so anxious thinking about how this story is going to end

Like, the whole point of the first game is that the tagline is actually true, right? There IS no escape, Zag cannot permanently leave the underworld so all he can do is make the most of things the way they are, turn it into a home that he doesn’t feel like he has to escape from. The cycle doesn’t end, it just changes (Zag and Hades’ relationship loses its genuine antagonism and kinda just turns into a weird routine where they get to vent their frustrations at each other while trying to be more cordial back at home)

The thing is I have no idea how they make an ending like that work with the stakes as high as they are now, with a villain as pure evil as Chronos, but at the same time, the whole tagline of the game this time around is “Time cannot be stopped”, right? I can hardly imagine SUPERGIANT being like “Congratulations!! You did it! The Dissolution of Time ritual worked and Chronos is dead forever now, also that entire leg of the game is now inaccessible because the final boss is gone and the storyline is resolved!”

I'm nearly done with my second obsidian set, and while I'm giving priority to the new spear afterwards, I'm here mulling over what to do for the armor set I'm missing. The plan was to make the raid one because the heavy one is my fave out of the available legys, but doing raids with pugs is a lot more brainpower and commitment than what I have available... and I'm gonna have an excess of essences eventually... and those are shiny achievement titles... mmmMMM...

Final Thoughts: Due South Stacked Rewatch/Timestamp Roulette Art Challenge

Personal favorites (in no particular order):

Well this was fun. And it wasn't. Like most things, it was a very mixed bag. 

I started out in September wanting to see if I could develop a personal, recognizable lineart style, something easy-looking and confident. Turns out I wasn't very motivated to do that after all. Or maybe I'm so stuck in my ways that I don't want to put myself through the process of de-learning some things and learning new ways of working. I've always been self-taught in almost everything (just doing stuff intuitively my way) and get easily irritated if I'm pushed out of my comfort and skill zones. Not a great learner!

The one thing where I definitely did step out of my comfort zone and gained confidence in was posting stuff that's less than perfect to my own eye. Ha, got quite good at that, actually! I think I got over the fear that someone tells me "this is not up to your usual standards". I'm hoping - while definitely aiming to create stuff that gives people feels - that this will make me work quicker and post more happy-making art instead of sweating over whether a piece is good enough to be posted. And I truly hope that my shit-posting (as I've called my super quick doodle weeks) has given someone else out there a feeling that they, too, can post stuff that might not be perfect by some artificial standard. I keep saying that great fanart can be drawn with stick figures, too. 

One of the biggest joys in this project has been discovering oil pastels. They simply suit my way of working, the colors are easy to mix and I can work pretty fast (I'm impatient). One thing I've gotten a lot of feedback on is how much people love seeing traditional media used for fanart. I still don't know what to think of the difference between digital and traditional. Is there any? Don't I use my human hands to create digital art, too? What difference does it make if a piece of art exists in pixels instead of pigment (except that photographing the latter for online viewing is a pain in the ass)? I kept going back to digital art from time to time in this project, and certainly can't choose which I enjoy more, oil pastels or Photoshop. Probably will continue more with digital art for the simple reasons of less mess, no storage problems, available shortcuts to reach a better likeness, and endless editing options. The best medium for me is the one I actually bother to pick up to make art. 

This 38-week project was probably the largest-scale art experiment I've ever done - or will ever do, at least on a strict weekly schedule. I kept expecting RL stuff to throw me off schedule, but it didn't. I kept expecting I'd just give up at some point, but I didn't. I guess the joy of having even a small purpose in life (even if it was self-inflicted pain in the ass sometimes) was worth it.

On a more serious note, though, this week has been just A LOT for many people. We feel you. Our flabber has been completely gasted, our dumb is well founded, our gobs have been thoroughly smacked, and our asses are so tonished you could see your reflection in them. Though we usually don't like political talk in our waters, we have loosened the reins a bit this week, allowing it in the #funky-town channel as long as it remains respectful. People need to process current events, and sometimes it's necessary to talk to get through things.

Besides talking things out, though, we want to encourage you all to KEEP WRITING. We know that what we're feeling right now is exhausting, but the world needs writers of fantasy like us more than ever. We all need a break from reality, and what's a better distraction than sexy times with our favorite SPN characters? Or cuddle sessions in the Dean Cave? Maybe a little cloud-seeding? And no one would blame a writer for maybe sending Rowena to D.C. in January, or perhaps letting Chronos kill a few folks to zap us forward a few years.

We know you're tired. We're tired. We're sad. We're fearful. But do not let what's happening suck all the joy out of the world. We must keep our candles lit in the darkness. If you feel yours going out, let us share ours with you. 💗

2. How did you come up with the idea?

i mean have you seen the show...... no lol but I was obsessed with cxg and watching it all the way through at least 7 times from 2021 (the origin? I think???)-2022. so my idea for a closeted paula POV obsession fic was a natural outgrowth as I got to know canon more and more intimately. I have fully convinced myself that my fic is canon. and here's the psychological origin straight from the horse's mouth!!!

and considering that i published the first chapter on july 3, 2022... i must have been flipping through the tag for the first time after writing a huge chunk and been aghast lol. now I see though that i created the fic document on may 31, 2022, so i must have been cooking on the work like a madman for all of june.

3. Did the idea change at all by the time the fic was complete?

not really, I fleshed it out and connected the motifs and stuff (and added something per @tomato-greens' suggestion, the non-canon dog that scott brought home, to give paula a reason to really loathe his ass in the "rebecca's wedding pinterest" chapter), but I always knew it was going to be a masturbation-centric, psyche-centric exploration of paula's history of obsessions. going back to her abortive lesbian crush in high school, another time she made a female friend her whole life, but with rebecca she's grown up enough to be able to sublimate it into being obsessed with her romantic life rather than just obsessed with HER...

8. Did you cut something out of the outline or an early draft? What was it and why did you decide to cut it?

mm... I don't think so, really... I was mostly adding stuff in. I can't remember at what point I decided to do the interleaved chrono present-day vs. reverse-chrono past chapters, which is funny, because it's an extremely novel (to me) and #literary structure and by far the most effective device of the whole story IMO! was I specifically trying to do something novel and challenging while writing this story? I must have been, or why would I have chosen such an interesting structure... it's rare that I delete anything out of an outline tbh, I delete written chunks often because they're not going how I want them to but in general the outline of the story only gets richer and denser.

11. What was the most challenging aspect of writing it?

the last chapter was a real sonofabitch. as you can see from the chapter index, i apparently wrote basically the whole fic except the last chapter, publishing it weekly, then was stewing and marinating on that last chapter for months afterward. it's kind of the culmination of paula's understanding that her own obsession with rebecca is unhealthy, and that she should be rebecca's friend rather than her erotically obsessive surrogate mother. and getting her to come to that realization in a way that let her close the door on that part of her life was challenging I guess

17. Talk about the fic’s ending. Why did you end it where you did?

unfortunately, in season 2, paula/rebecca loses a lot of the obsessive/lesbionic heat that pulled me into their relationship in the first place: paula swearing off doing shady-stalking-things for rebecca in episode 1, then paula doing law school and rebecca becoming more involved with the gurl group, means that their relationship kind of became more healthy/interdependent and less codependent. booooo lol. so I wanted to put a button on paula's internal life as far as canon goes (see previous question) and so therefore paula setting boundaries for herself was the natural endpoint for a story about paula's obsession.

and because i wuv you so much for asking and being my most faithful and devoted commenter on the fic with perhaps the most soulcrushing wordcount:audience interest ratio of any of my work, here's my entire set of notes and outline of the fic as braided into canon:

[summer 2015: holding everything together family-wise while listening to twilight on audiobook, doing “mom stuff” but completely absent physically/emotionally to her family. planning her jerkoff session mentally later. mrs hernandez is her friend at work but she works all day and night and has no time to have actual friends] s1e1 - paula hacks into rebecca’s instagram, emails, facebook, all social media s1e9 - paula accuses rebecca of being in denial about her love for josh, rescues her from the beach day and makes her promise to never lie to her again s1e10 - camp w/ josh [winter 2015-2016 (mid-season 1, between eps 10-11): paula is texting w/ rebecca, scott brings home a dog for the kids and paula flips her shit and dives back into josh fantasyland, pinterest board planning rebecca’s wedding to josh and choosing lingerie for her] s1e11 - they go to catholic marriage counseling at the beginning of the episode s1e13 - courtroom kiss [late winter-spring 2016 (late season 1, in between eps 13 and 14): masturbates to the thought of josh and rebecca together (“having stand-up sex in the shower of a very nice bed and breakfast!”); in the courtroom scene she’s wearing a purple long cardigan, blue and white fishscale pattern blouse, long necklace, black pants from a pantsuit; greg sees the kiss too and paula brushes him off, with victory for the joshbecca otp. then by the time rebecca comes to paula’s house, paula’s changed into a corny cat shirt and grey hoodie with a sloppy ponytail and juicy couture sweatpants (by the way it was filmed at the spring street courthouse in downtown LA)] s1e14 - “stand-up sex in the shower at a very nice bed-and-breakfast!” s1e15 - paula stays in rebecca’s house for a staycation, goes through her mail, uses her robe s1e16 - “you canNOT get rid of Channy Bear! I feel that feeling every time I do those bad things to help Rebecca”… “I swear it off and then she pulls me back in, like I did a fistful of blow. it’s like the high I get from those vampire novels” s2e1 - paula swears off stalking for rebecca’s sake and makes her sign a friendship contract; “no more immoral or illegal things, it is not good for me, and if you are my friend then you will… accept it”

in season 2 2016-2017 paula must be at least 42 due to “honk if you’re horny paula proctor is 40” bumper sticker season 1 2015-2016 = 41 therefore she was born in 1975 therefore she was 15 years old in 1990 her sons are… 16 and 10 in the first season? brendan was born 1999, tommy was born 2005 therefore she was 24 when she had brendan and 30 when she had tommy

and I want her internal monologue to be as deluded as rebecca, but in 80s rom com terms instead of musical theater. like maybe she's fantasizing about scott saying something charming like billy crystal would (??? I assume, haven't seen it) but then he says something boring or stupid that lets her down and she instantly bounces away into fantasy again

Two proud, fierce, spiky-haired warriors face each other across a rocky chasm… but why do they both feel so strangely familiar to the other?! A battle for honour is surely about to begin!

Through Dragonball, Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest, Akira Toriyama had a massive influence on my childhood. I think it’s also pretty fair to say that Pokemon, and especially Lance, would not be the same without his stylistic influence on Ken Sugimori’s early work. So, for all the thrills and inspiration, both to myself and many others, thank you so much Toriyama-san, and rest in peace.

I had so much fun designing a Toriyama-style DBZ design for Lance, putting in a bit of flavour from both his Gen 1 red biker and Gen 2 pointed armour looks. The dramatic cape flourish also pulls a bit from his HGSS art pose, just for fun (and flair)

I learnt a lot picking apart and studying different Dragonball panels and colour spreads to make this crossover tribute, but perhaps the most striking thing was re-reading chunks of DBZ and realising just how good at weekly pulp adventure story pacing Toriyama was.

I already knew he had perhaps the best grasp of dynamic, crystal clear action panelling in the business, but his ability to pace out a weekly story and always have some new twist or wrinkle while maintaining a solid, driving central narrative really stood out to me this time. And that’s not even mentioning all the ad-libbing!

One of the greatest to ever do it in so very many different ways - I am sure his work will continue to inspire not just artists in our current generation, but many young artists in the future as well.

rip tomayiya

Right, for people who haven't seen already (somehow), Akira Toriyama, passed away on March 1st at the age of 68.

He was the creator of Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump and character designer for various games like Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger.

Dragon Ball was one of the very first manga I read and loved as a child. Actually, I remember when I started reading Inuyasha for the first time, the art style and comedy reminded me of Dragon Ball and it's one of the reasons I got into the series!

After the announcement of his passing, some people also noted that mangaka seem pass way at a significantly younger age than the average in Japan...

Which potentially speaks to how taxing the work of a mangaka is. Rumiko Takahashi is 66 and she's still publishing chapters weekly for MAO! She never even takes long breaks except when she completes a series. I hope she takes care of her health despite how much of a workaholic she is.

Language of flowers - a game about running a flower shop with your wife in a fantasy world. Considering renaming it Flower shop cottagecore lesbian simulator because in essence, it is that.

Finishing that vocaloid dating sim - I really gotta finish this...

Unknown Library - another game in the Unknown universe. It's about a person that is collecting books in the apocalypse to build their own apocalypse library.

No tears allowed sequel - I feel bad for Anna so once she has had some time to get over her ex, I'll make her the protagonist of a dating sim.

Shockwave expansion - Just the second trial of Shockwave. Shockwave is just the first trial of the death game, I wanna make all of the different trials.

Keep my secret - another death game visual novel. This one I'll wait until I have a small community since the official storyline would change based on popular vote.

Dream keeper lovely luna - A visual novel about a magical girl that helps people in their dreams. I plan to release multiple stories for Luna so this is more of a series.

Girly detective - another knectic novel series about a magical girl, but this time she's a detective.

Picture perfect - a romance visual novel about guess what? A magical girl. She lives in a world where photonovelas are all the rage and she is the most famous actress. She uses her magic powers to transform into her characters. I wanted it to have creamy mami vibes.

Unknown journal expansion - I want to expand unknown journal into a more complete folio zine sized game. I might charge for this one since it will take me a while to work on and I feel like it will be worth charging. Stay tuned to my posts though since I plan to post looking for beta testers so you might be able to get the beta for free.

Fantasy tourist - A solo ttrpg about exploring a fantasy world with town guides and tons of stuff. This one will definitely not be free because it's gonna take me months worth of work to get done, however once again, I'll need beta testers and they can get the game for free so stay tuned for my posts. I detail my idea more in this post.

Day seven of February’s second weekly WIP behind the cut, final day ( and still TECHNICALLY in before midnight!! ); “mistaken identities and interdimensional refugees”. (( chrono || non-chrono ))

“Well, we’ve arrived at your final resting place, Mr. Kent and young Mr. Kent,” Alfred informs them mildly as he turns off into the driveway up to Wayne Manor, which absolutely cannot actually be the local Bruce Wayne’s actual base of operations. Kon doesn’t care if the dude thinks he’s a version of Clark, there is no Batman who would just bring a couple of strange Kryptonians home without at least locking some blue K on them, whether one of them is a scared ten year-old or not, and the local blue kryptonite won’t even work on them! 

Except the moment the car stops in front of the front door and he can focus his TTK without the wheels spinning blurring anything, he absolutely can in fact feel the Batcave and all the connected cave systems that are sprawling underneath the place and clearly, like, functional and active. 

Really, he could feel that even through the wheels, they weren’t going anywhere near fast enough to actually blur his senses, but he just assumed he was somehow hallucinating that or something. Except he is definitely not, because he definitely does feel it. His X-ray vision is blocked by lead-heavy mineral deposits and there’s soundproofing and temperature control in the way of his super-hearing and infrared vision and knowing Batman there’s probably some random magic shit he got Zatanna to set up mixed in there, but his TTK can still feel a very obvious Batcave down there without even trying. 

Which, like–TTK is not really a power most people know to plan for or know how to plan for, given it’s basically just him and Match who have any remotely-developed versions of it and Match’s is kinda fucked-up with some of the degradation issues and all, and even red sun and kryptonite don’t totally cancel it out–plus those both have to be directed at him to do anything anyway, not his TTK itself–so like, yeah, in a reality where he maybe does not even actually exist–apparently does not even actually exist–prooooobably the local Batman did not ever solve that particular puzzle, no. 

This is definitely a trap. This has gotta be a trap. 

Alfred gets out and opens the car door for them with a polite incline of his head and Kon gets absolutely zero bad vibes off him, and has literally no idea what the fuck is going on with this weird-ass reality. 

“Okayyyyy,” he says slowly, and gets out of the car. Jon gets out behind him and grabs the back of his jacket, pressing up close against his back. Alfred closes the door; gives them both a pleasant little smile. 

“Allow me to get the door,” he says as he heads for said door, and also: “Earl Grey or oolong?” 

“Assam,” Kon says at the exact same time as Jon–zero percent surprisingly–says “Ceylon,” because all else aside, that was absolutely a test. Alfred never serves a guest Earl Grey unless he wants them to fuck off immediately and can’t be trusted to make oolong without putting milk in it, which is a crime against a drink that Kon doesn’t even particularly like but also a crime that he absolutely cannot handle right now. 

“Of course, sirs,” Alfred says, sparing them both a briefly thoughtful look before opening the door and holding it for them. Kon doesn’t really know what to take from that; did the guy expect something different? 

. . . actually, what does Clark drink when he comes over, Kon genuinely does not even know, he has been in the Batcave maybe four or five times max, and basically every single one was an apocalypse-level scenario that Batman was not actually on-planet for, except for the one time it was an apocalypse-level scenario that Kon was the only Kryptonian-class heavy-hitter who was League-vetted on-planet for. Which sure had been . . . an experience, as an experience. Like, a very weird and annoying and frustrating experience. Also Luthor’d already hacked his comms earlier that day to say some snide bullshit and try to boss him around about how to deal with said apocalypse, so that hadn’t really helped with his mood at the time either. 

But yeah, either way, he’s definitely never drunk Bat-tea with Clark. He’s pretty sure he’s only seen the dude drink coffee or whatever Ma’s got the kettle, in fact. So like, god knows what Alfred’s even thinking right now, because given Kon’s luck he either picked the exact thing Clark always drinks or something Clark just straight-up fucking hates. 

Probably the latter, given, again, Kon’s luck. 

This is totally a Bat-trap and they are totally gonna die here and he is totally gonna be embarrassed as fuck about it, he thinks resignedly, and then just heads into the manor with Jon still basically clinging to his back and seeming nervous again. 

“Thanks, man,” he says to Alfred, and then feels–

Oh, okay. That’s actually even weirder, Kon thinks, and tips back his head to blink up at the landing at the top of the entryway stairs where a presumably-local-but-who-knows Dick Grayson is leaning over the railing with a delighted grin on his face along with the “even weirder” sight that is a Jason standing next to him and squinting down at them speculatively. Like, a Jason in civilian clothes and the actual manor, not in vigilante-grade kevlar and the Batcave.  And like, he’s a lot less ripped than Kon’s version of the dude–like way more slender and maybe even a few inches shorter, which: what the fuck?–but he’s undeniably a Jason Todd. 

Also his hair’s black? Like. Fully black, no white streak or anything? 

So yeah, weird, Kon notes. 

Alright, well, maybe somebody’ll explain why there’s a Jason Todd who’s apparently willingly here to him after the local Batman shows up so he can explain himself to the whole Bat-belfry at once as opposed to having to go through multiple repeats of the same information and also, again, just in case this reality or this Bruce Wayne happen to be clone-racists or what the fuck ever or just have any opinions about “biological determinism” or any bullshit like that. Because that is still very much a conversation he wants to have in person and not–

“Oh my god, has Dad seen you yet?” Dick asks with a gleeful cackle, leaning even farther forward over the railing, and Kon blinks, a little startled. 

“You call him Dad?” he asks in reflexive bemusement, and Dick snickers at the question and folds his arms on the railing with an artful shrug. 

“Well, not in front of Vicki Vale and her peers or anyone with a recording device, but yeah,” he replies easily. “Take it your personal reality’s a couple decades behind ours, though.” 

“Actually–” Kon starts, though he has literally no idea how he’s gonna finish, but Jason’s already leaning forward too, bracing his hands on the rail and wrinkling his nose with a dubious expression. 

“Jesus fuck, who let twunk Uncle Clark wear designer?” he snorts. 

. . . okay then. 

“My date to the gala I was at before the multiverse got drunk and fell off its ass bought it for me,” Kon replies incredibly, incredibly dryly. Dick and Jason both blink in their own obvious bemusement, their heads cocking in opposite directions. 

“Your date bought it for you,” Dick repeats slowly. “For a Gotham gala.” 

“Yeah,” Kon says. 

“How the fuck did Aunt Lo afford that getup?” Jason asks, looking even more bemused. 

“She did not,” Kon says, because fuck it, whatever. “Like, Lois is cool and all but I could not handle her. Also, she is very, very married to both her Pulitzer and her husband. But my boyfriend's love language is 'spending his vast family fortune on unnecessary amounts of gift-giving', so like, not so much a concern?” 

“Your boyfriend?” Jason repeats incredulously, and Jon frowns in confusion and peers up at Kon’s face. 

“You’re not dating Mom yet?” he asks. “Mom married somebody? And you date–boys? That’s, like–okay?” 

“It is very okay, actually, but I reiterate: I am not Superman,” Kon says with a sigh as he gives the kid’s head a heavy pat, given it’s about the eightieth time he’s said it by now. “But also I don't wanna explain myself to every single Bat in the belfry one by one, so could we maybe convene somewhere and I can riff up a metaphorical Power Point or something?” 

“Uncle Clark, are you dating our dad?” Dick demands, looking torn between further delight and low-key horror. Kon stares at him. 

Alright, he probably brought that one on himself, considering.

Marvel Rivals season 2, Hellfire Gala, will add Emma Frost and Ultron to the roster as well as the mutant utopia Krakoa (specifically Hellfire Gala) as a new domination map. Emma Frost will be available at launch and Ultron halfway through. Chrono tokens will now be easier to obtain via the addition of weekly missions.

You will also be able to customize costumes with different colors and can gift skin packs to friends. Replays from season 0 and season 1 will not be available after season 2 due to network changes. So be sure to save any you wanna keep!

New Team Ups: Emma Frost shares her psionic abilities with Psylock and Magneto. Doctor Strange shares his mystical powers with Scarlet Witch. While Captain America is on the team, Winter Soldier can leap toward allies and initiate a clash, protecting them it seems.

The Metalic Chaos (Magneto and Scarlet Witch) and Voltaic Union (Cap, Thor and Storm) are being removed. Psylock will be removed from Dimensional Shortcut (now just Magik and Panther). Winter Soldier no longer gets Ammo Overload (just Rocket and Punisher). Namor is removed from Chilling Charisma (no more ice octopus) and will be replacing Strange in Gamma Charge (gamma octopus). Particularly sad about Magneto losing his sword and Doctor Stange with the Gamma Power. Mostly I just liked that it touched on the magical aspect of gamma.

Buffs: Peni, Mister Fantastic, Moon Knight, Rocket

Nerfs: Doctor Stange (attack down; survivability up), Loki (regeneration domain down), Adam (soul bond down).

Map Changes: Hellfire Gala (Krakoa) will be added to the rotation. Yggsgard (Royal Palace) and Tokyo 2099 (Shin Shibuya) will be removed from ranked play.

Competitive play will now require level 15 to join. Pick/ban will be available staring at Gold III. When a team includes Eternity or One Above All rank, only duo queuing will be allowed. Individual performance will count more toward your rank increase or loss.

Also, they announced that,starting with season 3, seasons will now be two months and therefore will include a new hero every month!

-the ~court of greed~ album is now available at Toranoana, and he's holding a signing event for Wiegenlied of Green.

-He has also uploaded "Millennium Wiegenlied" as the image song for "Wiegenlied of Green".

-mothy also apologizes for all the delays in uploading PVs to NicoNico, and the delays that have resulted in getting his songs released to the public (basically there are songs that are made earlier than others but get released later due to these delays).

-he clarifies that uploading videos on NicoNico is still a hobby for him rather than a career. As such the PV artists are usually doing the work for free, and so he doesn't set any deadlines on when the art gets done (he has them prioritize other work before his own). He understands some people might be frustrated with this given he has yet to release the songs on Evils Kingdom, but he doesn't want to sacrifice video quality by rushing it.

-Wiegenlied of Green is now on sale.

-a lot of people came to his autograph session on the 26th. He notes the atmosphere of a bookstore was very different from the conventions he's used to.

-amusingly, PHP as a company typically publishes business texts, so one of the reps noted they weren't used to so many young people (including school-aged teens) attending their signing events.

-mothy expresses condolences regarding the earthquake that happened around this time. He himself was not unaffected but nothing major was broken and no one close to him was hurt. He's been moved by all the devastation he's been seeing in the news and getting emails about, though.

-mothy gives a reply that based on context I am ASSUMING is him giving permission to use his works for non-profit activities (ex, school festivals), and telling them to contact him if it's for a paid performance.

-"Ball of One Hundred Blooming Flowers", which has the Duke Venomania song on it, is now on sale.

-mothy shares some sales stats for Cloture and Wiegenlied. He also hints at a doujin album and collaboration for the summer event (comiket I think), hinting at it'll have a lot of Miku in it.

-NicoNico's outage from I guess a cyberattack is still ongoing so I cannot see the videos he has linked here, just up front.

-Mothy has uploaded the video for Chrono Story and talks about it a little bit. It's on the Evils Kingdom album, of course, and was written with that album in mind, so it's not as easy to understand as a story on its own. It serves to bridge the gap between the Abandonment and Venomania songs (with Venomania's mansion showing up in the end).

-It features Elluka, of course, who shows up in the Daughter of Evil series, though it is not from her perspective. He gives a little rundown of the plot for anyone who hasn't listened to the other songs, and makes clear that while Elluka doesn't show up in the Venomania song, she does play a role in the Seven Deadly Sins series.

-He also clarifies that it was Rgveta (the artist behind the video) who added the subtitles to the PV and uploaded it to Youtube.

-He answers some questions--he's planning to release his third novel this winter but that's not set in stone. He's also still figuring out some of the distribution logistics for Evils Court, but the plan is to ship them out after Comiket.

-mothy advertises that theatre troup Brioche is performing "Daughter of Evil ~one for tow~" (did he mistype "two"?) in September. He says this is going to have a completely different script and cast from the previous performance. -he links the website, which is still technically up but all of the information is gone.

-mothy shares all the works being sold at summer comiket. On his end this is Evils Court, ~Court of Greed~, and Evils Forest. uniMemo is selling some albums with him too.

-mothy shows off his sample CD for Evils Court.

-mothy talks a bit more in anticipation of comiket. In particular he warns people to be prepared (such as with a cold drink), as it will be very hot outside with large crowds.

-he will not be signing autographs or taking any other requests as long as he has a line (or even if he doesn't) in order to reduce foot traffic congestion at the event.

-mothy thanks everyone for coming to summer Comiket. Evils Court is now on consignment (he talks a little about how he made the case transparent? I'm not sure what he means by this, I don't own a physical copy). He's run out of Evils Forest, as well.

-the Venomania song has hit 1 million views (while he was away at Comiket).

-He's particularly chuffed about this because at the time he made the song he was mostly experimenting on how to use Gakupo, which was a bit difficult for him to handle.

-Evils Court's songs are now available on KarenT for download, and the album itself will be sold for a limited time through consignment (he lists the stores where it will be sold).

-the PV for the DoE Worldguide has been uploaded to NicoNico.

-mothy originally submitted 4 stories for the worldguide thinking he would only use 2, but 3 wound up getting in. The 4th one was omitted because it was too long, and it had a weaker connection to the main plot. Ironically it was the one he had put the most thought into, so he thinks he'll use it elsewhere maybe (I'm not sure which story this is referring to exactly).

-mothy is attending VOCALOID Master 17.

-he'll be selling Evils Court and the ~court of greed~ album (for the latter, this is its last run). Other sales are going on too (the Servant of Evil manga at another booth and uniMemo's stuff).

-Evils Court has sold out, so he'll be making more copies to start selling again at the end of September.
