Out of the Woods by @liminalmemories21 Whew, boy, this series 💖💖💖 I have all 3 of them downloaded, so whenever the mood strikes I just have to open my files and get right to it! Missing scenes type of fics always fascinated me and so it was such a nice surprise to see it in someone's bookmarks I think? And oh, did I have your profile open for a few weeks to get to your every other LS fics!!

The Ring-In by ifyoustay, @welcometololaland I still remember the hype I felt when I saw this fic's chapter 1 in the AO3 feed!! That someone actually started the wave of honeymoon fics!!! And oh, I'm so glad I did click on it! Definitely spent my Sundays waiting for the new chapter drop! 😂 and then immediately came the loveliest 3x04 coda and the rest is history! 💕💕

I was kinda wondering if the reason why Mirko doesn't have an stationary agency in a city and roams around the whole country is because this way she can deter hate crimes against heteromorphs much easier, she can work anywhere she is needed so if she is passing by the countryside and spots something going on, she could deliver a lesson right then and there, what do you think?

To answer your question tho, I would think it's just so she can deter and fight any crimes at all. Gives me the same impression as All Might in a way. Of course All Might DID have an agency but I mean that, since All Might could be anywhere due to his speed, Miruko may have realized her speed could be put to good use and just refused to have an agency building so it would be easier for her to fight Villains without being tied to somewhere, you know?

I also imagine it has something to do with crime rates around where the agencies are. If memory serves me right, criminals and Villains usually try to avoid the areas where the agencies are because it would make it easier to target more vulnerable areas and not be immediately caught by the Heroes

So maybe Miruko having no fixed agency is like. you never know where she's going to be coming from. You might not know her patrol schedule, when to avoid what part of a city/town, and therefore she could surprise you and catch you in the act

(Also, to get a little personal, maybe it's also related to the fact that she won't allow sidekicks. I don't know how to put this but like. with no stationary agency and no sidekicks, there's less "baggage"? Less to worry about. And so, if she messes up doing something, it's all on her, nobody else to blame. Maybe that's what motivates her to get stronger, be better and keep going)

But yeah I'm sure the heteromorph thing could play into it too. It would certainly make it easier for her to travel to the countryside and deal with discrimination up there. The whole Catch Them In The Act thing, you know? It'd be cool, and maybe that flexibility could help stop hate crimes up there, if she hasn't been doing stuff like that already
