possible in the whump prompt sequel/continuation:

Roy didn’t know how long he stayed with Jamie crying on his shoulder, but by the time Jamie was sitting up and wiping his tears, the sun was rising. It was a cruel reminder that it was a new day. Sunrises meant a new beginning, and that anything was possible, but for Jamie, it was just the same old nightmare. How many times had Jamie watched the sunrise while held hostage to the pain inflicted by his own father?

“Jamie?” he asked tentatively. “Is it okay if I call Ruth? Someone should look you over.” Jamie sniffled loudly before nodding, “Yeah.” His voice was barely a whisper, hoarse and gravely like Ruth’s was that last time. Just reached out a cold hand and grabbed his wrist. “Just, just Ruth, though, right?”  “Just Ruth,” he promised. “I’ll be right back, okay?” Jamie nodded again, and Roy slowly separated himself from Jamie. He walked towards the front door, the crunch of broken glass under his boots the only sound in the room.

You think your good for nothing mother would have pushed you the way I did?” Jamie’s blood boiled at the mention of Georgie.  “Don’t talk about her like that,” Jamie said, pointing a finger at his father. “Don’t talk about her at all.” “It’s true. That woman’s useless. Without me, you’d probably still be breastfeeding.”

He needed air, and he did need to talk to Beard. Beard would ground him. Beard was his constant here—and he had been his constant for a long time. It was just the two of them a lot of the time in college. Being the backup punter and kicker separated you from the rest of the team even more than the starting punter and kicker. Ted had never met anyone like Willis before. Beard was open and adventurous—maybe too adventurous.

When he was in high school, his English teacher had a big banner that read: Apathy is not an option. Mrs Carroll sure would be disappointed if she could see him right now.  Ted looked again at Jamie, his back tense under the hospital gown, even asleep. Jamie, who had done everything asked of him since returning to the team. Jamie, who watched his role on the Greyhounds get chipped away at inch by inch. Jamie, who has become one of eleven, only to stand in the cold dark shadow of one in a million.  Ted should’ve talked to him. Ted should’ve done a lot of things.

I had whumpt prompt idea.

Before being accused of betraying The System and being taken to The Facility and becoming Whumper's pet, Whumpee was a single father.

When Whumper gets tired of him and gifts him to the younger prodigy and secretly rebel Caretaker he has dificulty breaking the condition and understanding that Caretaker truly sees him as a human. Except Caretaker is a teenager, the same age Whumpee's son was when Whumpee was taken. So when Whumpee sees Caretaker underage drinking for a second he forgets the programming and enters Dad Mode and is all "what are you thinking".

Finally after a lot of fussing Whumpee looks at Caretaker in the eye and says "you are grounded give me your phone" and Caretaker looks at him with shock and teen anger and Whumpee finally remembers that this is his "master" and starts to kneel and present himself for punishment when Caretaker (who never had a positive parental figure before) handles him his phone and asks in a whinny teen voice "how long till I can get it back?"

Starker event interest check!

Hello! StarkerFestival's Summer Bingo is on its last month and as such, the mods at SF are preparing for our Kink/Fluffy/Whumpt-tober prompts. We also have a possible event we're interested in hosting so this post is an interest check!

What is this possible event?

A Starker Reverse Bang!

A Reverse Bang is similar to a Big Bang in fandom where artists and writers come together to create content. In a reverse bang, artists will be submitting art for writers to claim and write fics about. The time duration for this event would be roughly 2 months, around month-ish each for artists and writers.

How would this work?

There will be a sign up period for artists. About midway through, StarkerFestivals will open a sign up/claiming period for writers to view the art pieces and submit a claim. This will be done in a first come, first serve basis. (Note: Art pieces, during the writer's claiming period, do not have to be completed yet.)

Once all the art pieces have been claimed, writers and artists have until the end of the event to finish both art and fic. The level of collaboration will be up to each team.

Having recently been to a zoo, here are some whump prompts inspired the concept of magical beings being kept in a zoo or circus:

Werewolves forced to be naked in human form because the zoo doesn't want to spend money on clothes that might be ripped.

Werewolves being held on leashes or muzzled in both wolf and human form for people to pet.

Whumpees with wings being trained and conditioned so that they can perform shows without running away.

Vampires having their teeth removed.

Vampires being fed normal food/animal blood so they are weak and starving all the time.

Alternatively, vampires being forced to drink other creatures' blood.

Demons/horned Whumpees having their horns removed in painful ways.

Mermaids being held in tanks and given no privacy.

Mermaids having to perform countless shows until they are exhausted.

Shapeshifter Whumpees having to perform shows like in a circus or having to shift on command even if it is painful.

Elves/Fairies being forced to interact with people and move gracefully.

Elves/Fairies that don't meet the beauty standards being used for heavy work.

Shapeshifter/Werewolf Whumpees being forced to fight with each other for show.

Whumpees generally dehumanized by being treated as animals. Not being taught how to speak etc.

Being kept in small, cramped cages.

Injured whumpee being held in caretaker's arms as they have a panic attack- maybe they just woke up, dazed and in pain, or maybe its the remembered trauma. Either way it ends with caretaker's arms around the whumpee, rocking them slightly, trying to keep them fairly still so they don't hurt themselves more... 😍

I’ve written 8 fics for 9 prompts total for the Final Fantasy XV fandom. Thank you so much @whumptober2020 for your amazing work and your organisation! I’ve never wrote so much in such a short time and I had a blast chatting with other writers in the discord server.

Whump prompt 5?

Whumpees who are beyond feeling ashamed and humiliated, who will kneel in front of Whumper even if their family is watching.

Previously defiant Whumpee not caring to look brave, who will lean in Whumper's touch and thank them for it.

Whumpees who after they have reunited with their team, seem to be getting better until Whumper shows up and whispers a command.

Whumpees begging for forgiveness and asking to be trained again so they can be good and obedient after they've spent too much time being treated like a person.

Whump prompt 4

Whumpee is captured/in a(n abusive) relationship with Whumper. When they finally escape, their friends don't take their pain seriously, they gaslight them and tell them they were better when Whumper was around. Even Caretaker doesn't do a good enough job.

After a while, they end up with Whumper, more broken and hopeless than before.

One day, as they hide in their room afraid of the special guests Whumper has promised, they hear Caretaker's and their friends' voice. Turns out, it was all a game played by the group to mess with Whumpee.

Whump prompt 6

Caretaker and Whumper are friends and they both have taken interest in Whumpee, not quite romantic or platonic attraction but still some form of attraction. Their difference is how they wish to "show" it to Whumpee, so they make a deal.

Whumper gets Whumpee first, breaks them until satisfied and then leave them to Caretaker to fix.

When Caretaker is almost done and Whumpee has healed from most of the trauma, Whumper shows up and erases the entire process. Whumpee obeys Whumper and does whatever they are ordered to, secretly hoping Caretaker will save them.

The only problem? Caretaker is right there, watching, and the only thing they do is complain to Whumper that this was not part of the deal, in a way that makes it sound like Whumper just destroyed their school project.

I love the trope where Whumper convinces Whumpee they are not human by saying that a human couldn't possibly have been tortured and survived, a human didn't deserve to be hurt and humiliated to this level but Whumpee deserves so, how can they possibly be human?
