It's a given that the more options we have, the harder it can be to make a decision. When you have multiple choices before you, how do you know you're picking the right one? Sometimes it helps to just trust our instincts, but often it takes a little metaphysical nudge to convince us. If you have a selection of opportunities but aren't sure which one to go with, do this working, preferably on a Wednesday, to help you come to the right conclusion.

Right your options on the index cards so each one has a potential choice on it. Place them around you on the floor. Hold the feather in your dominant hand, and close your eyes. Slowly turn in a circle - don't go too fast, or you'll get dizzy - three times. When you stop, hold the feather above your head, eyes still closed, and say “Decisions, decisions that must be made. I could use a little egg period from my mind and spirit through my hand, let me see where my choice will land.”

Let go of the feather, then open your eyes. The card nearest to where the feather landed is the right choice.

The way even shipping-neutral people in this fandom stan that one overrated, racist hack writer makes my teeth grind. The fact that she's surrounded by antis of the Good Dad Bruce cult should have tipped y'all off. Or maybe you don't care.

Why should you care about all the queer people driven to mental breakdowns and PTSD over anti-shippers? Why should you care that the current anti-shipper movement was started by exclusionists who decimated aro and ace communties online? Why should you care if it's radfem ideology they're spreading? Or that they're co-opting racial discourse to drive their witch-hunts? Why not keep silent and collect buttons for your meta essays?

The aforementioned hack writer is also shipping-neutral and likes to keep out of fandom discourses afaik, which is convenient because she can foster friendships with all the most toxic antis in the fandom and collab with them. I was a fan who was reading her work when it was posted for the first time in 2016 and talking with her in the comments of every chapter, overlooking her atrocious British dialogue, because she seemed to really understand child abuse and PTSD. Till she decided to take a Bill Willingham-shaped shit on Leslie and a Morrison-shaped one on Talia, all to woobify Bruce. And told me that Bruce couldn't possibly be abusive because otherwise the kids wouldn't love him, and "these aren't stupid kids". I especially remember how badly that triggered me, coming from someone whose work I loved, during one of the worst years of my life. Re-reading her work now I realize how mediocre it is, but it was important to me back then to find an author who seemed to care. And now I come back to find an entire contingent of the worst people in fandom drawn around her.

Those of you who elect not to care are so much worse than the ones who are deliberately malicious.

Can’t focus!!!

My issue with the crystal, spiritual and witch communities is they're very classiest.

Listen I grew up way lower class so I thought

Ha I was wrong.

Lets start with the crystal community and why it sucks:

1. The bullying people for buying man-made crystals

2. Bullying people for buying colored crystals

3. The shamimg of crystal sizes, legit people act like having a small crystal collection or small sized crystals is somehow bad??

Spiritual community issues:

1. The f🍀cking " spiritual " jewelry crazy... The trend of acting as if those that can't buy super pricey smithed jewlrey is somehow less spiritual...

2. The anti-homemade bs. Seriously people get treated like they're somehow not as spiritual for having home made stuff.

3. If you buy from big companies you get called a sell out but if you buy from small businesses then you're called a pick me, there is no winning with these people...

Witchy community issues:

1. Shaming homemade stuff again people act likw unless your stuff is new, shiny and cost your soul then you aren't really witchy...

2. Shaming of grewing your own herbs or not growing. Again it's a d🐝mned if you do and d🍓mned if you don't sort of thing... Legit not everyone has money or room for herbs like gardens or big herb bundles brought from buisnesses.

3. Witchy jewlrey... Witchy jewlrey is jewlrey that a witch wores. Witchy jewlrey is not hundreds/thousands of dollars on hand smithed jewltry..

4. Witchy clothing issue. Witchy clothing is whatever a witch is wearing! It's not pricey clothing that cost your right eye.

So how do these communties fix these issues? Well I'll tell you!

A response to my post on how witch positivity culture is toxic.

This is exactly the kind of toxicity I’m talking about. When witchblr is so fixated on “love and light” that it can’t handle confronting it’s negative impact on communties with closed traditions. When folks stop reading because cultural appropriation is too negative and they can’t handle it, you have a problem. When criticism is evaluated on its negativity rather than its substance, you have a problem. When “love and light” is used as the moral code above accountability and self awareness, you have a problem.

Y’all this what I’m talking about when I say on the surface positivity culture might be a difference of taste but in actuality it works it’s way into everything and honestly isn’t that positive in the end. It’s escapist.

So y’all can keep love and light. I’ll take effective magic and accountability anyday.

You started off this ask on the wrong foot, because both things you’ve accused me of doing I don’t do, I don’t tag anybody in anything, linking a URL (which I do) is not that same as tagging or @ ing someone (which I don’t do and have actually made several posts discouraging my followers from doing), I link URLs so that people are able to block the blog, the linking of a URL does not notify the person the same way an @ does, which brings me to my second point, I’ve explained this many times as well, this blog is meant to be used for blocking, that’s it, in regards to minors specifically I don’t put forth any information that the user does not put forth themselves, I don’t encourage followers to witch hunt, “spill tea” or whatever else, but if a person states they’re underage and then interacts with 18+ blogs anyway then people have a right to be aware and block them so they can keep their blogs safe, if you consider that “calling out” then okay sure I can give you that I guess?

I spoke on this at length in the first ask you sent, so I don’t really feel like going over this again, but all I can really say is you’re either naive or purposefully deluded if you think the majority of these people are doing this “on accident”, sure there are some, some I’ve even spoken with and helped them find safer communities but communties like cglr3 were created with the intention of allowing minors to engage in CG/l dynamics so I have a hard time believing that most people aren’t deliberately engaging with these communities

To start, in my opinion there’s two categories: legal and not legal, there’s no “barely legal” or “almost legal” or any of that bs, you’re either 18 and legal or 17 and 364 days and not legal, whether you think it’s arbitrary or not, thats just how the law works, and in the same vein being legal doesn’t have a “look” there are plenty of underage people who “look grown” and plenty of well beyond of age people who get mistaken for high schoolers, it’s part of why these laws exist to begin with, to protect the “grown” looking underage girls from being openly preyed on by people

I’m proud of us.

I just want to say that I am extremely proud of the pagan, wiccan, and Witch Communities.

We have come so far after our ancestors and siblings in our faiths and practices were buried under the opression and persecution by the Catholic Church and other groups who tried to stomp on us throughout history.

The Gods are Making a comeback, Our communties are coming together and we are thriving more than we ever have in hundreds of years.

We should take this freedom and use it in a productive way, to spread our peace, and to show the world the love and strength of our gods.

Those small of Mind may try to stomp us out like coals but right under their feet, we are rising like a pocket of flames buried beneath the ash.
