It's not even that Zoot becomes French, its that he's learning French and he sucks at it. Absolutely terrible. I went to school with a dozen kids like him. 💕🕺🏻

I love when people make compilations of Venture Bros funny moments because even though there's so much overlap, there's the few specific moments that's unique to their humor and it makes me feel like I'm reading a little page of their diary.

Why do I keep having a reoccurring nightmare about a yeti in my house
I am not part of this dream. There are different people living in my house. Chris Pratt and a woman. It’s her house, but she made a deal with Chris Pratt— as long as he goes downstairs every day and closes the vents down there, he can stay.
Downstairs is infinite. There is no exit, and no light strong enough to light it up. It’s a maze, light by occasional, flickering lightbulbs. There’s an old man down there, who will lead Chris Pratt around and speak in stern tones about something. Every time we pass a vent, he’ll point it out, and Chris Pratt will close it. This time he’s angry.
The yeti will not enter the light. Both the old man and Chris Pratt know it’s down there. Walking between lights is so fucking scary. Eventually Chris Pratt closes enough vents for the night and is able to return upstairs. All of the lights are off. He turns them on— the stair lights, the hall lights, and his bedroom lights. The woman understands the stair lights, but turns off the hall lights. She does not believe that there is a yeti.
The dream usually ends with me, or Chris, stood at the top of the stairs and screaming at the yeti. It only got partway up the stairs once. This time it didn’t even appear, but I was so aware that if I stopped yelling, then the Christmas event would trigger.
The Christmas event is supposed to be the hardest thing in the game, because this dream has migrated from one of my mothers rom-com movies to a game. The yeti gets halfway to the woman’s room before you, foolishly, wake up.
Or maybe you think it’s safe. It’s morning. There is light. You will go Christmas shopping for the woman— there is a mall downstairs. You can’t afford rent, but you can afford this. You hope she’ll like it.
The yeti is no longer scared of light.

To Catch A Yeti might be the worst movie I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through

I’ve seen you said you take prompts, so, I had an idea if you’re interested.
So, imagine Danny has an assignment from Clockwork, and as punishment for a prank he pulled where he messed with something and unintentionally pulled CW’s attention away from the timelines for long enough for the Flash to accidentally ruin the timeline, after the timeline was fixed Danny’s forced to go and fix every single broken clock in the solar system. This includes stuff like watches and the batcave clock, maybe a few timed bombs, something on the watchtower, villain bases, etc.. Everyone is extremely confused and concerned as to how and why this eldritch kid with the Mark of Kronos is appearing randomly in their secret bases. Danny isn’t just fixing the clocks, sometimes he pulls Shenanigans depending on where he has to go. If he sees clones in a lab, he’ll call up Dani and they’ll pull off a heist together and she’ll take care of teaching and raising them afterwards. Talons? Danny opens a portal to a section of the infinite realms and gives them their own island after having the yetis go through deprogramming with them and stuff. He sees some stuffy fruitloop batcave? Graffiti and glitter. Lazarus pits? Free smoothie! Of course, he’s respectful to civilians when he bumps into them, giving little unmeltable ice statues to kids, helping people who need it, etc. He fixes a family heirloom watch, bringing tears to a grandson’s eyes. He’s helping people while on his mission, while also messing with any fruitloops he finds. So all of these people around the world are just really confused and being like, what in the world, who/what is this kid?! And sharing stories about him online, painting him as a cryptid or god or whatever. The Justice League and the villains are just Concerned because the kid feels like Kronos, time, and death energy, and have no idea what he’s trying to accomplish. Maybe they think that working clocks give him power, idk, just thinking of the conspiracy boards about Danny as he goes through his punishment and fixes every single clock, including on other planets (Danny practically squealing the whole time as he meets *aliens* in *space*! What cool technology and life!) This is meant to be a punishment but Danny’s living out his dreams. Sure it’s boring at times, but all this traveling is interesting and can help him bond with Dani, so this isn’t much of a punishment for him. He gets to be mischievous and help people out, it’s a win-win. Meanwhile everyone else is thinking that the end of the world is coming and that Kronos has been reborn and is trying to take over the world somehow with clocks. If you’re willing to expand or add to this or make it your own, please do!
I love the idea of Danny just *poof* "Yes, hello, I am the clock-smith" in the middle of, say, the watch tower. Floating up to the clock wall to adjust the time while pulling out a manual on time zones in different parts of space. The watch tower is within Earth's intergalactic waters per se, but which Earth time did he set it to???
Should he anchor it to one place or just place a spell on it to show all the time zones in a cycle? Does Clockwork have a procedure for this?
Meanwhile, all the heroes in the cafeteria are jumping to their feet, some whispering, "A fifth dimension imp!" and others yelling, "It's Kronos!"
Wonder Woman kneeling before the flouting teen does not help these accusations, as she loudly proclaims, "It's an honor to be of service, Lord Kronos."
Danny looked down at her. "Oh hey, an Amazonian."
"Why have you graced us with your presence? Is there anything this lowly servant can help you with?"
".....Can you gather all the watches for me?"
"At once!" And that's how the rest of the heroes almost have heart attacks because Wonder Woman herself is rushing at them at terrifying speed to rip away any form of watch from their bodies. She's on a war path, and no one can stop her. They can see it in her eyes- she'll draw blood if she has to.
They hand over their watches without much of a fight, feeling like they are being mugged. Wonder Woman sprints away to the next few levels- the screams of fellow heroes echoing in her wake.
Batman isn't as willing to cooperate with Kronos until he knows why the god is here, but Danny doesn't give him much of a choice. Mostly because he is uncontainable. Thankfully, he seems fixated on watches (Bruce writes in his notes, "Can gods be autistic???), and he leaves once they are all fixed.
He changes everything to be precisely twenty-nine hours ahead of whatever time they originally were at. Wonder Woman basically barked at everyone to not switch them back, banishing her sword.
From there, Batman does research with his sons and daughters. Tim finds the information of Danny appearing throughout history to fix watches, and Hal finds similar historical text in Oa's archives—usually right before a horrible tragedy. Further investigation shows a horrendous discovery.
Danny adds or subtracts the same number of hours from the told time as before the tragedy.
He was on Mars three hours before the tipping point of the civil war when the tremendous green Martian massacre happened. He added three hours to the green Martian's capital clock tower.
He was there on Krypton twenty-five hours before the planet was swallowed up by a black hole and exploded. Every public area with any form of time telling was changed to twenty-five regardless of whether it matched the planet's time zone.
And now he was here in the clock tower.
Bruce realizes that they have only one hour left, so he commands everyone to rush about and search for what could be the issue. It's only thanks to the Speedsters' quickness that they find the malfunction in the tower's core—the thing keeping them flouting. Had they been one hour too late, it would have caused the Tower to get pulled into Earth's gravitational pull.
Leading to them crashing into Earth- right above the most populated country of the world, possibly killing millions and leaving the world without their heroes.
The tragedy is avoided but now everyone is weary of when or where Kronos will appear.
Meanwhile, Clockwork is watching the timeline, amused that they think Danny is him when, in reality, Danny is just picking a random time and sticking the clocks to match since it's less math.

Dad War
Danny Fenton became a father and he's not panicking at all (this is a lie)
Danny should have known that asking for an uneventful week was an exaggeration. He tempted fate by saying that "nothing bad could happen now that ghosts and humans lived in peace with each other"
Of course, it was right after saying that sentence that his daughter cousin appeared in front of him with her arm melted. Having gotten used to that particular scenario he steered her into his ecto-dejecto reserves, both of them panicked when this didn't solve anything.
With no more options, Danny took her to Far Frozen, surely the Yeti would have a better idea of what was happening to the girl.
Frostbite examined Ellie just like the first time but instead of scowling like Danny had expected he looked extremely pleased, almost satisfied.
"The time has finally come" Frostbite told him happily "you must let it happen, Great One"
"Do I have to let Ellie melt down!?" Danny yelled in concern, he never thought the Yeti had a sadistic streak in him. Ellie looked just as shaken by the information.
"Not like you're thinking" The Yeti noticed his mistake and decided to explain himself "she's not melting, she's stabilizing"
"If I'm stabilizing, why is my arm goo?" Ellie groaned, the sensation of melting never failed to be strange.
"That explanation is much simpler" Frostbite smiled "how old are you, little Phantom?"
"Uh" Ellie tried to assign herself an age, she aged much slower than the other halfas "16?"
"You didn't understand the question, I didn't mean how you look" Frostbite denied affectionately "how old do you consider yourself?"
“…5” Ellie muttered in embarrassment, even if her age was a bit older than that number, she felt much younger, like a child. She didn't count her early years, between Vlad and traveling the world she hadn't begun to think about it.
Even with all the knowledge stored in her head, she wanted to experience a childhood like other children, to make friends. Something that her adolescent appearance did not allow. As much as Ellie loved talking to Val, she was one of her only friends and unlike her, Val had a whole life to live.
"There is your explanation" The yeti pointed out "ghosts take the appearance of how they see themselves, your core takes into account your wishes and therefore you are reforming into a child"
Danny remembered when he first shifted into his ghost form and Frostbite explanation made sense, but his head reminded him of a very important detail.
"Wouldn't that be troublesome? A lot of people in Amity know you as my cousin” Danny pointed out worriedly. The secret of the halfas was still closely guarded.
"Well, there is a way to leave her appearance the same as it currently is, but that's up to her" Frostbite looked at the girl waiting for an answer.
"No" Ellie denied "I want it to happen, I also...I also want to have a childhood, like the others"
Ellie had always felt bitter about being the only halfa exploring the concept of death more than life; unlike Vlad and Danny who had lived fairly normal lives before their respective accidents, she had been robbed of the possibility.
She wanted to live too.
"It's settled then," Frostbite nodded "Now, this is just getting started and someone has to look after your core while you reform. Do you have any candidates in mind?"
"Danny, can you?" Ellie asked, taking the sleeve of his suit, she wouldn't have considered asking anyone else. Even if she didn't admit it, Ellie always saw him as her father.
"You don't even have to ask, I'll be here when you get back" Danny ruffled her hair with a smile.
"Thank you, dad" Ellie closed her eyes as she let herself be carried away by the sensation of her core. It was a little strange that what she thought would kill her was fulfilling her dreams.
Before the halfa could reply to the comment, Ellie melted, and the ectoplasm was quickly absorbed into her core.
Danny looked at the green stone in his hands with concern.
"How long do you think it will take her?" he asked the Yeti.
"A couple of hours" Frostbite sat down next to him "it's hard being a new parent isn't it? I still remember when my children were born"
Danny avoided mentioning that he had no idea about his children. He wondered if he had them in life or death.
"I- Ellie is my cousin," Danny tried to tell him, but his argument sounded weak.
"She doesn't seem to see you as such" The Yeti shrugged as he handed the boy a cup of tea, but the halfa refused to take it as long as he held the stone in his hands.
Frostbite snorted while setting the mug aside, a new parent, in fact.
"Uh, looks like it's time for me to leave my parents house, don't you think?" Danny tried to joke, even Jazz had her own house in another place.
He had temporarily tried it when he was balancing his college life with his spooky duties, living with Sam and Tucker was fun but in the end he came home.
"It seems so" The Yeti shrugged "congratulations, it's a girl"
Danny laughed as he held the stone closer to his chest. He had really become a father, hadn't he?
His core purred at the thought, while an invisible thread connected the two half-ghosts.
Being a parent didn't sound bad. Maybe it wasn't even as hard as people made it out to be.
───────────────
Danny regrets that last thought, he regrets it so much.
He just had to think that, didn't he?
As usual, he called Jazz to inform her of the day's events as he held the stone to his chest (Frostbite had told him it was safe to do so).
Jazz didn't seem too surprised by the news, on the contrary, she started recommending him books on parenting, so many books.
Danny tried to tell her that Ellie probably wouldn't be a difficult child, he got a 30-minute lecture on how she'd probably regress to the mental age of 5 or 6, and therefore he had to be prepared for it.
Deciding to listen to his older sister, Danny googled for advice.
Checking on wikihow how to take care of a child didn't work, Danny could attest to that.
The halfa sighed as he looked at the "I'll bring you some books tomorrow" message that Jazz had send him. Did he really have to read?
It couldn't be that hard, right? His parents took care of Jazz and she ended well!
Danny was ignoring Sam's voice in his head saying that "Jazz is the spiders georg of children and should not be counted"
Of course, Danny was also avoiding to look at the fact that his parents also took care of him and he kinda died. Ellie was already half dead so he couldn't fucked up that part.
He put his phone aside as he stared at the stone on his chest. It had been hours, was Ellie okay? Perhaps something had gone wrong?
He frowned wondering if he should call Frostbite when he noticed the glowing core. Before he knew it he had a 5-year-old girl crushing his stomach.
"Ouch," Danny groaned in pain "fatherhood hurts"
"Daddy! Daddy!" Ellie jumped on his stomach, she didn't seem to notice the change in title "Look! Look! Do you like my new look?"
Realizing that Jazz was right, Danny pretended to think for a few minutes, Ellie looked bummed out at his lack of response.
"Of course I love it!" Danny scooped her up into his arms as she giggled "you look perfect!"
Ellie chuckled as she ran off to Danny's room where she had kept his phone before the whole mess.
"I'll be back soon! I have to tell Val!" The girl ran off, probably forgetting that she could go through the ceiling and get to the room faster.
Danny gave her a thumbs up, as soon as Ellie disappeared down the stairs he lay back on the couch rubbing his stomach. His daughter had strength.
"We're definitely moving" he muttered, closing his eyes. Not in a million years would a girl with that much energy go unnoticed.
Danny checked his phone again and saw messages from Sam and Tucker. The halfa pouted, Jazz was a gossip.
───────────────
"Are you sure you have everything?" Tucker asked, checking a list on his PDA. No matter how many years passed, he still loved his technology and refused to throw it away.
"Definitely sure" Danny yawned as he loaded the boxes onto the GAV. Ellie was asleep in the passenger seat.
"Papers?" Tucker checked the list.
"Legal and illegal" Danny held up a folder "Thanks for that, by the way"
"You're welcome man" Tucker shrugged. He had created Ellie's papers a while back, but they had never been needed. Adapting the age was a surprise.
"Food? Money? Clothes?" Tucker recited the list, to Danny's nod he continued, "materials to put together the new portal?"
"Ready" Danny pointed to the box that said "danger", there were also the ectoplasm samples.
"I still think that's a stupid idea" Sam rolled her eyes "that thing killed you"
"Yes, but we need ectoplasm on a regular basis and well, building one was the easiest way to get it" the halfa shrugged. It still made him shudder to think about the accident but the portal was necessary "Besides, portals don't measure distance in the Realms, I can build one that's only a few feet from home"
Also, having Far Frozen close to them was always an advantage and the ghosts had promised not to invade the new town without his permission. He still couldn't believe he was moving to New Jersey.
"That's the only reason I'm letting you get away with it," Jazz snorted as she bent down to kiss her brother's forehead "Remember, we're just a phone call away"
"I know, I know, you don't need to move out as well" Danny shook his head amused, he felt that if he didn't stop them they would really try to " I never thought I would have to move"
"It's been so long since the accident" Sam remembered as she placed a hand on her hip "even though it seems like yesterday"
"It feels like it happened yesterday" Danny admitted while touching the scar on his hand. The memories of the electrocution were still fresh in his mind.
"By the way dude, are you sure to leave Vlad as her biological father?" Tucker winced at the document, he could see the reason but he didn't like it.
"Of course, that idiot must pay me child support" Danny smiled "eat the rich and all that"
Having an excuse to spend Vlad's money was always fun. And if his stupid biological sex could help that, he would use it. Danny was honestly relieved that his legal documents had been changed. He wondered if Vlad knew the real reason why he was never able to create a male clone.
"You could just ask us for money" Sam patted his shoulder "Tucker and I could support your poor ass"
Both had been very successful in their respective fields. Sam had graduated in law and was getting another degree as an Environment Protection Technician, she had changed a lot in a short time. On the other side, Tucker had created his own Technology & Security company, he was currently negotiating a deal with Wayne Enterprises.
Danny had a feeling that his friend wanted to use him to close a deal and had suggested the city as an option for that reason. Bludhaven wasn't far from Gotham after all.
"Just because I'm unemployed doesn't mean I'm poor" Danny pouted "I'll get a job in the new town before you know it"
"I hope so, your savings aren't going to stretch that long" Jazz sighed. Her brother's lack of planning never ceased to be worrisome "Oh, and don't forget to take off your blinder, you need to breathe"
Danny frowned at the comment but nodded. His ghost form was more comfortable because it suited his chosen gender, he wondered if he could change the human as well.
"Okay, I guess that's it" Tucker put the PDA away  "remember not to drive like either of your parents, we don't want you to get a ticket so quickly"
"Nor that the weather news announces when you're going out" Sam smirked, she remembered when Lance Thunder started announcing when Jazz and Danny were learning to drive.
"That's impossible, you know I'm an excellent driver and therefore I'm not going to get a ticker" Danny stuck out his tongue at his best friend.
"Whatever you say Danny" Sam snorted "call us when you get there, and have a safe trip!"
His friends and sister said goodbye to him as he got on the GAV. He started driving away from home. It wasn't long before he passed the "Welcome to Amity Park" sign. The little ghost drawings around it made him smile.
Still, Danny was offended by the skepticism of his friends, he was sure that he was not going to get a ticket anytime soon.
───────────────
An officer was giving him a ticket.
Danny banged his head against the steering wheel of the vehicle as the police officer asked him the routine questions.
"Does this vehicle have a license?" The officer raised an eyebrow. Danny sighed as he handed over the GAV papers, he had licensed all of his parents' inventions long ago "Okay- wait, is this a SUV?"
"No, it's a GAV" Danny growled without further explanation, he was still annoyed by the situation. Clockwork was laughing at him from his damned tower, he was sure "Do you need anything else, officer...Grayson?"
Officer Grayson looked at the vehicle with doubt, the damn thing had more modifications than the Batmobile, he really hoped the boy wasn't some future villain.
He had so many questions to ask.
Before Dick could question him further or Danny risked murder on his first day in town, Ellie woke up from her nap.
"Daddy?" Ellie yawned looking at the driver's seat curiously "Are we there yet?"
All the halfa's anger melted away and his attitude took a complete turn.
"No honey, we got pulled over for speeding but we're in town now" Danny leaned down to brush her hair out of her face "you can go back to sleep"
"You're a bad driver" his daughter smirked, she wondered if driving skills were hereditary.
"Are you new in town?" Dick leaned in curiously, the girl reminded him of his own daughter.
Danny was about to tell him it was none of his business but Ellie answered first.
"¡Yes! We're moving" Ellie smiled "That's why we brought all the boxes, I'm going to enroll in a new school and dad is going to get a job"
"That sounds wonderful" Dick smiled softly as he handed Danny the ticket along with the GAV's papers "You should be more careful on the streets, I don't think there is anywhere that accepts 120 km/hr as a normal speed"
The halfa frowned, didn't the officer have a heart!? At least he could forgive a new neighbor for a silly mistake!
"Yeah, yeah, thanks" he murmured as he put the ticket in the glove compartment.
"Well, all seems to be in order" Dick straightened up "you can follow your way, enjoy Bludhaven!"
Danny hoped that he would never see him again.
When he arrived at his new house, the halfa carried Ellie to the couch and let her sleep, after which he began to unload the things from the GAV.
He wondered if he should start unpacking everything or just sleep. He felt tired at the thought of opening all those boxes and fell asleep on the couch with his daughter.
When he woke up it was night, Danny peeked out of the window as he heard a motorcycle park next door. Perhaps he could see his neighbors?
He gaped at the sight of fucking Officer Grayson reaching down to grab a little girl and carry her into his arms.
Wasn't it enough to be physically perfect and heartless, but he also had to be a good father? Damn everything!
It had to be a fucking joke

It’s getting late (for me that is) but what about Jason first meeting with the rest of the council (Frostbite, Clockwork, Pandora and etc)?
You mean: Abominable Snowman, Benjamin Button and Mommy-sorry Step On Me? (Jason's crush on Wonder Woman did in fact transfer to Pandora)
Jason generally likes all of the council, and all of the council likes him in turn because he makes Danny happy.
He met Frostbite first. Danny took him to the Far Frozen to get checked out and to be sure the Baby Ghost was healthy and stuff. Jason had been forewarned and honestly, by that point, yetis were just one of those 'yeah that tracks' moments for Jason. Jason asked Frostbite, as a joke, if he could give him a piggyback ride. Frostbite picked him up, plunked him on his shoulder and booked it. 10/10 Jason had the BEST time. Definitely his favorite doctor.
Clockwork he met next, and it basically went:
Clockwork: I see you found your knight young king.
Danny: Yeah, thanks for WARNING ME
Jason: Who the is this fucker?
Danny: imagine a grandpa given unlimited power over time but retaining the 'stay off my lawn' energy but towards the time stream.
Jason: Ah
Clockwork: Wonderful. Off you two go
He then yeeted (yote?) Them through a portal because a member of the Flash Fam had severely fucked the timestream doing speedster shit. Luckily CW had smashed a hat on Jason's head first and he was in human form so the Flash fam member didn't recognize him. They were a bit too occupied with Danny yelling at them for fucking up and ripping them out of the speed force. The Flash fam member bought them lunch. (This was not the first or last time CW sent Danny to deal with the Flashes. They knew of him, and were all more than a little frightened of Danny. They think he's like. A speedforce demon or something. Theyre glad he eats burgers and not their souls) it was fun, even if they were stuck in the 40s for a bit until they cleaned everything up and got the Flash fam member back in the proper timeline. (You can imagine this as any of the Flash fam)
Jason met Pandora when she came to spar with Danny. And he just. Instant puppy crush. He watched this Amazonian woman beat the snot out of Danny and it was the best day of his life. If Fright Knight hadn't already claimed him as a protégé he would've been begging Pandora to train him. She thinks Jason is cute and is always happy to spar with him when she's around.

━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━ Daisy, oh my Daisy
Daisy and Wonka first met all those years ago on the boat. He was a chef and she, a waitress. The two had come quick friends, working together and laughing together. When Willy Wonka shared his chocolate dreams with her, she wanted to be part of it all. So as Wonka goes for his dreams, Daisy, his Daisy comes along as his faithful secretary. When it all goes wrong, he fears he's dragged her down with him.
[never did I think i'd be writing a Willy Wonka fic, like huh? but before I even went into the cinema to watch it I knew i'd be obsessed. Can't wait to see the Regulus edits of it all. Not proofread, just vibes. And i have a lot of ideas for timmy and coryo snow bits :)] ━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━
Tumblr media
The doors were wide open, holding the people in and the magic of it out. The wonder of Wonka's chocolate shop wafted in the wind, calling in all- children and adults, anyone and everyone came along to have bite of magic.
Daisy maned the doors with Noodle. Kept the line down and made sure everyone got in and out with a bag full of the wonderful chocolate Wonka created. She was lucky enough to be the first to try them all, he always wanted her feed back. She was thankful he held her in such esteem as to value her opinion. After seven years on this journey with him, just seeing his dreams in front of her was enough to keep a grin in her face.
Her cheeks would sure hurt in the morning.
It was obvious to them all apparently, at least to the adults, how Daisy admired and felt about Wonka. But- standing across from her and watching her watch Wonka- it only just clicked with Noodle.
'Holy cricket!' yelped Noodle.
Her yell broke Daisy away from her daze, watching Wonka in his chocolate tree. She jumped in her skin and slowly turned to Noodle. 'Yes, Noodle?'
'You're in love with him!'
Daisy's jaw hung open slightly before she laughed off her nerves. If Noodle said it any louder, he may just hear. 'What? No-no, no way, no, please. Don't be ridiculous. He's... he's my boss.'
'So?' she rushed over to Daisy tugging at her sleeve. 'You're in love with him!'
Daisy turned them around quickly, smiling at all the customers until they were left alone in a corner. 'Noodle, please, you mustn't say a word. To him, to anyone.'
'You've been in love with him this whole time?'
'Well, only six of the seven years i've known him,' Daisy amended, 'although admittedly that doesn't sound any better.'
Noodle had a grin on her face now, her little hat slanted down on her head. 'Why not tell him?'
'Because Noodle, there are some things worth staying quiet for. If he didn't like me back and thought it weird that I stayed this whole time, he could throw me out! All i've known is this.' Daisy didn't want to think of not having it. Of not having... Wonka.
'Daisy, please, i'm sure Wonka loves you to,.'
'Daisy!' called the very man they were discussing. The two girls stood up quickly, hands behind their backs and smiling.
'Nothing, we were talking about nothing!' said Daisy quickly.
Wonka's brows seemed askew as he looked between them. 'Very well, Daisy may I borrow you a moment.' he didn't await an answer, already tugging her away.
Worried he'd heard this whole time and was about to tell her to leave, Daisy looked back at Noodle for some help. The girl only made smooching faces.
'Try this!' Wonka thrust a chocolate flower in her mouth.
It was delicious. Crunchy and melting on the tongue. It smelt like a tulip but tasted like a blueberry and something else, something like...
Daisy spat out the last crumbs of the flower. 'Yeti sweat!'
'Exactly!'
'But you didn't put that in there!'
'No, I did not.'
Daisy thought quickly, clicking her fingers. 'Could it have been the little orange man?'
Wonka nodded, stroking the non-existent hair on his chin. 'I wouldn't put it past him.' Quickly, Wonka tugged her over to the tree and leapt upon it, yelling out to the room: 'Ladies and Gentlemen! Your attention please, there seems to be a manufacturing error! Nobody eat the flowers!'
A lady who's hair was already turning orange and growing a beard asked 'why not?'
A man who's hair was ginger and growing tall had crumbs falling from his lips 'what's wrong with them?'
Another man was turning green, another child was turning another colour.
'Oh no,' mumbled Daisy.
'I'm terribly sorry everyone and I don't know how to explain it. But it appears the chocolate's have been poisoned!' Wonka announced.
Daisy leapt up next to him. 'That probably was not the best wording, Wonka.'
'I want my money back!' a man who's hair was as blue as the ocean yelled.
'I want compensation!' yelled an angry Scottish man.
'I want revenge!'
Suddenly, chocolate's were being thrown at the two. They dodged and ducked, but they came quickly.
'Daisy, hold onto me!' Wonka grabbed a fistful of her purple dress and kept her close to him. They yelled at those who tore down the shop, that cracked and shattered all the glasses. 'Daisy, what's happening?!'
The chandelier dropped from the ceiling, creating fire in the middle of the hall. People started to run out, screaming and yelling. 'Oh Daisy.' and Wonka settled down.
That's how they ended up in the melted room of what was once Wonka's shop of dreams. The colours had dissolved, the people had scattered and they were left with their friends.
Noodle slowly approached Wonka who sat down in the dust. With an encouraging nod from Daisy, Noodle cleared her throat. 'It's ok, Willy. We can re-build.'
'There's no point, Noodle.'
Daisy rested a hand on his shoulder. 'Don't say that.'
'It's the truth,' he mumbled. 'It didn't work.'
Daisy scoffed. 'What do you mean? your chocolates brought so much joy!' she settled down next to him. 'Before everyone found out they were tampered with.'
'She promised she would be here,' said Wonka, glancing over at Daisy. She was the only one who knew everything about Wonka. All but one thing. Quite possibly one of the biggest things. 'She wasn't. Stupid dream.'
Daisy rested a hand on his back. 'It's not a stupid dream, none of your dreams are stupid.'
'Oh but they are,' he told her, looking to her with tears in his eyes. He seemed to search her face for something. 'Now none of them will ever come true.'
'Don't say that Willy!' said Noodle. 'Please don't ever say that!'
'Come on, Noodle,' Mr. Carter said, putting a hand to Noodle's shoulder and gesturing the rest away. 'I think we should give Mr Wonka some time alone.'
Wonka didn't object to them all leaving, he sat with his feelings and his chocolates.
Daisy watched them all leave and turned back to Willy. They spent their days together, inventing, laughing, eating and cooking. They only left each others side to sleep in different rooms. But maybe, she'd have to accept some things change.
With a quiet sigh, Daisy made to leave.
Wonka's hand reached out, clasping her wrist. 'Not you. Please, please don't leave.'
At his begging, at the tear slipping down his cheek, she sat back down and held onto his hand firmly.
'Never, Willy, never,' she promised.
He sniffed. 'I'm sorry, I let you down,' he laughed through his tears.
At first, she thought he was talking to his Ma. Sometimes, when he needed guidance the most, he'd share some words with her. But she realised, he was apologising to her.
'Let me down?' she echoed. It was a ridiculous idea, when he'd given her the greatest thing of all. Love. A warmth in the heart that not even chocolate could bring. 'You haven't let me down, in fact, it would be impossible for you to ever let me down, Willy. You did all this. All of it. And if it wasn't for the stupid chocolate cartel, you'd have all your dreams. I just wish I could erase what they did, give it all back to you.'
He smiled, wiping his nose. 'You've always been too kind to me, Daisy.'
'You've never given me a reason not to be, Willy.' she squeezed his hand with one and with the other, she wiped away a tear from his cheek.
He looked at her and she quickly dropped her hand and took a deep breath. The ends of her dress were scorched, her gloves ruined, hair falling around her face. 'You've followed me all these years for this. For this dream. Now it's all gone. It's ruined and i've done nothing but waste your time.'
Daisy looked into his eyes, those that were swimming in tears. She shook her head slightly, lips curled up in disbelief. She thought of talking with Noodle, she thought of dancing and sharing smiles with Willy. 'You really think that's the only reason i've followed you?'
They were sitting close. Bodies, warm from fire and cold from dread. His jacket, frayed everywhere, covering parts of her dress. He could see every detail of her face. Every detail he'd missed from spending his time being far from her.
'What else could there be?' he asked.
And perhaps truth's would've been shared if it wasn't for the chocolate cartel interrupting.
❛ ━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━ ❜
It all seemed to end with: death by chocolate.
Daisy and Wonka were stuck in a room with thousands and thousands of gallons of chocolate, and impossible amount really. The pillars whirled and the chocolate grew around them. They'd been so close at winning, at getting their hands on the secrets they needed to prove the cartel villains and gain back his reputation. But of course, there was one thing they'd missed.
Chocolate.
'You know, Willy. When you were dreaming about chocolate. I think you dreamt a bit too hard.'
Wonka held her hand, putting it onto his sleeve. 'Just hold onto me, we'll be fine.'
But then chocolate started to spill from vents, and being 'just fine' started to turn into panicking. Panicking a lot.
His other hand held onto her hand. 'I'll think of something, I promise.'
Daisy laughed, watching her knees disappear under the chocolate. 'I've never doubted you, not for a second in six years. But please do come up with a plan soon.'
'I've got it!' he announced after the chocolate crept up their legs. 'If we're going to drown in chocolate, because let's face it Daisy, we might just drown in chocolate. Then it'll be Wonka chocolate.' She watched as he started to sprinkle some secret ingredient into the chocolate around them.
'Does that happen to lessen the amount of chocolate that will some in?' she asked.
'Nop!' he admitted.
Daisy put on a brave smile, looking around the room as the chocolate reached her waist. 'A sky light!' she gasped, shuffling around in the liquid. She laughed, clutching at Wonka. 'There's a skylight, we'll get out that way.'
Willy followed her eyeline, seeing the only part light came from. 'Daisy, my Daisy, you're a genius.'
And it didn't take long for the chocolate to reach their necks. They pushed through it, they fought against the current until they reached the window.
'Help!' they yelled, banging their fists against it, screaming and hoping someone would see or the glass would break.
'It's not gonna work is it?' Daisy sighed. Her fists were shaking from the force of knocking against the window. 'We're going to drown in chocolate.' She laughed, because how could she not.
Wonka watched her. Even in the desolate moment of ending, he watched her. His flower laugh and then thought things couldn't be so bad if she was laughing. But hadn't she always found joy in the worst moments? 'Tell me,' he said.
Daisy looked back to him, arms working tiresomely to keep her up. 'Tell you what?'
'What you were going to tell me, back in the shop?'
Daisy almost thanked the blush was up to her neck, he'd never be able to see the rising blush. 'I er... I don't think I remember what I was going to say.'
'Sure you do,' said Wonka, almost taking pleasure in teasing her. 'You're Daisy, you remember everything.'
Still, even facing death by chocolate, Daisy wasn't ready to spill her most carefully guarded secret.
'Why else would you follow me all the way here, Daisy?' he asked her. 'You might as well tell me. I'm not sure there's another way out of here. I've let you down. Again.'
'Willy, i've told you. You can never let me down,' she whispered. There was nothing else left to say. Nothing but silence between them.
'I'm in love with you,' she confessed in one breath. A secret kept for years, aching for days and it came out in one single whisper. 'I've been in love with you for six years. That's why I've followed you everywhere. Because I believe you. I wanted to see your dreams come true. I wanted to watch you watch your dreams come true. That's why i've followed you here. Because I am so helplessly and foolishly in love with you.'
To her dismay, nothing was revealed from his expression. 'You really mean that?' he asked. 'You're not just saying that because we're about to drown?'
'No. Seemed as good a time as ever to say it.'
Finally, he smiled. 'Then let me do you one better. I've been in love with you for seven,' he admitted. Finally admitted. And if it wasn't for the chocolate holding them down, his chest would finally expand with a deep breath. He laughed. 'Seven years.'
'Seven?' she checked.
'Seven,' he exaggerated. 'I should've told you, I never wanted you to be my secretary! I never wanted you as a friend! I wanted- I wanted you!'
Daisy laughed, tilting her head back so she couldn't choke on chocolate. 'Well, we're just a pair of fools aren't we?'
Willy smiled. 'Daisy, oh my Daisy. Deep breath now.'
Then, the two disappeared under the river of chocolate. But for a fleeting moment, they were in love together.
Daisy thought that could save them. Her own dream of loving him could make the chocolate go, lower until they could breath. She could practically feel the fresh air, feel the air in her lungs.
'Daisy! My Daisy open your eyes!' Yelled Wonka. 'We're saved, we've been saved!'
Daisy wiped the chocolate from her eyes, finding Willy in front of her with a wide grin. 'What? by who?'
'Look!'
Above them, waving at the window was the little orange man. The theif.
Daisy exclaimed a laugh, thanking him and blowing him a kiss as the chocolate continued to lower until they got their bodies back. The two spun around and around until they hit the ground in lumps of bodies.
Their bodies were shaking with laughter, against each other.
They sat up across from each other in new light. Not afraid of dying, or loving.
Daisy raised a brow. 'So seven years is a long time.'
Wonka blushed under the layer of chocolate he tried to wipe away. 'Almost as long as six.'
They laughed, eyes twinkling in the way new lovers do.
Daisy reached out, swiping a layer of chocolate from his cheek and licking it off her finger as Wonka watched. She didn't seem to think anything of it, but it lit him up with heat and determination.
He pulled her arm until she was between his legs, almost on his lap and kissed her. A kiss that had waited seven years, since they were born, a lifetime for them to share.
It was quick, a movement of lips and his hand on her cheek, her hand clutching his jacket. It tasted of life and hope and love and chocolate. His lips were soft and sweet, and hers were fresh and his for the taking.
Perhaps, if it wasn't for the little orange man knocking on the window, they would've forgotten their troubles and rolled around in chocolate, discovering what seven years of longing does to a person.
Daisy pulled away, running her tongue over her newly chocolate covered lips.
Wonka smiled, kissed her once more and then held her hand. 'Let's go get our chocolate back.'

A tiny look into one of the fics called It's My Party (And I'll Cry If I Want To)!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Why don’t you just tell them?” Jazz asks Danny once she sits down on his bed, pushing aside his blankets and patting beside her.
“Mom and Dad love you, metagene or not.” She continues.
“Seriously, Jazz, we’ve been over this.” Danny sighs, sitting next to his sister as she turns to face him better, “They hate ghosts, and have threatened to rip phantom apart molecule by molecule. If they’re willing to do that, then what makes you think they’ll stop once they find out their son is a ghost?”
Jazz frowns, “Danny, I know the accident was terrible and horrifying for you, but you’re not a ghost. You need to accept the fact that it simply activated your dormant metagene and gave you ghost adjacent powers.”
“How can I have a metagene when both mom and dad don’t have one! Jazz, I know you don’t want to believe it but-“
“No Danny,” Jazz exclaims as she cuts him off, “ You’re alive. You can’t be a ghost, because ghosts are unfeeling and-“
“Jazz, just stop!” Danny yells, slightly teary. He stands up off the bed, putting some place between him and Jazz as she also stands up with a deepening frown.
“I know you don’t want to believe it but I am a ghost, I died in that accident. I know you don’t want to believe it, but if I can somehow come to terms with it then why can’t you?”
Jazz just stares him down with her disappointed stare. After a few quiet seconds she then sighs, looking exasperated and somehow even more disappointed as she levels him with a harsh glare.
“Even Sam and Tuck agree, Danny. You’re going to far with this ghost thing! I don’t care what that yeti says, or any of those other creatures! You’re not dead. You have a heartbeat and most importantly, you care. You’re not evil, and all this death talk is beginning to freak Tucker out!  And you especially need to stop around Sam. They’ve begun talking to me about it, and about how you’re scaring them. And, well, we’ve all agree that you need to stop fighting those ghosts. Mom and Dad are perfectly capable of getting them, so from now on you’re benched. Those horrible things have been filling your head with lies, and it’s becoming a problem.”
Jazz declares before she walks out, keeping that awful disappointed glare on him.
Danny slams the door behind her, silently seething and holding back tears. They talk about his death so easily! Yet they don’t care to acknowledge it. Danny died, whether they want to accept it or not, and there was nothing they could do about it.

Doctor Danny Chapter 9
The jet was surprisingly efficient. The landed on a private airfield and found a taxi into the town.
"So where exactly are we going?"
"Danny's childhood home"
Jason raised an eyebrow, "we getting his parents?"
Sam crisply should her head no.
"They don't know about Danny's condition, and it'll stay that way if I can help it"
Sam made the cab let them out a street before the house.
"I've got to make sure they aren't here" Sam said as she stealthily slunk around the house, peaking in the windows.
Jason admired the strange architecture of the house. What were these people? Supervillains? Mad scientists?
The Fenton Assault Vehicle was nowhere in sight. Always a good sign.
Sam forced a window open from the outside.
"Breaking in, nice." Jason commented.
She rolled her eyes and climbed through the window. Jason followed her despite his remark.
Sam noticed that the house hadn't changed much at all.
She made her way to Danny's old room.
Jason smirked at the mess. Typical teenage mess.
Sam pulled out a math textbook and flipped a few pages. A worn looking paper fell out. She dropped the book and grabbed the paper.
"This is going to be our map" Sam said handing it to him.
Jason unfolded it and scrunched his face in confusion. It didn't look like any map he had seen before.
Sam almost felt nostalgic, her nostalgia turned to anxiety as she reached the lab door.
"What is it?" Jason asked.
Sam opened the door, "this is where Danny had the accident" she said as she took carefully steps down the stairs.
Jason's eyes took a calculating sweep over the inventory of this lab. Almost every surface was taken up in space by some weird looking gun or belt or fishing rod?
Sam walked over to a large medal door.
"What's that?"
Sams expression seemed tense.
"It's, the ghost zone. Officially called the infinite realms"
She pressed a button and the mechanical doors opened up to reveal a bright swirling green vertical pit.
"We have to go in there"
Jason felt a cold sweat taking over.
"You sure this is safe?" Jason asked keeping a careful distance away from it.
"I've been in there before and I'm still alive. The portal itself is harmless. What it contains is not."
Sam smacked a large mechanical space rocket looking thing.
"Get in"
Jason wanted to dismantle the crazy portal and bomb this house but Danny needed help, so he got in.
The machine started up and lifted off the ground. Sam shifted a stick and it went forward.
Jason looked out the window in morbid curiosity.
All around were floating doors.
"What are those?"
"Doors to other dimensions, times zones, they could be spacial anomalies or fields of flowers." Sam responded keeping her eyes on the path ahead of them.
"This map is so weird, but I think it's starting to make sense now" Jason said. Sam glanced at it.
"Your holding it upside down"
Jason turned it the correct way.
"Ah now is see. This must be the evil castle and that must be the pit that swallows up anything that goes near it" he said pointing to a circle with a swirl in it.
"Basically yeah"
Suddenly the temperature dropped leaving Jason shivering.
"Welcome to the Far Frozen Jason" Sam said as they touched down in a snowy patch.
"Am I going to end up frozen?" He asked his teeth chattering.
"Don't be a baby" Sam said rolling her eyes. She tossed Jason a spare coat that was a little tight on him and they made their way to a nearby cave.
"FROSTBITE!" Sam yelled as they walked in. Jason tried not to stare at talk the yeti people. The cave turned out to be giant with tons of systems where he guessed the yeti people lived.
"Is that you Lady Sam?" A heavy voice asked.
"Yeah, it's me. Phantom needs your help"
A large yeti with a cloth sash made his way towards them.
"The great one is in trouble?"
Jason shot a look a Sam when he heard the nickname only to be ignored.
"He was poisoned with blood blossoms, I think it was a diluted version though"
"Ah, blood blossoms. And your friend here? He seems to be in need of some assistance as well"
"What Jason?" Sam looked at him suspiciously.
"Step forward of you please"
Jason followed his command. He felt a sudden cold radiat throughout his chest spreading through his upper forearms and entering his veins.
"This should naturally filter out your contamination"
Jason had to admit he felt clear. The heaviness on his chest was gone and he didn't feel particularly pissed off either.
"Thank you" he breathed out.
"As for the great one, you need to give him this"
Frostbite took a small bottle from the other yeti. Inside was a cosmic looking liquid.
"Make sure he gets this. His core might be in danger as well. He will need time to recover. Send my wishes of health to the great one please Lady Sam"
"I will" she nodded taking the bottle.
Once they were back in the Fenton shuttle Sam soared Jason a glance.
"So what's up with you?" Sam asked.
Jason tapped the window, "I died and was revived with a toxic liquid that a cult famously calls the Lazarus Pits"
" you and Danny have that in common"
"What?" Jason asked alarmed.
She laughed, "sorry, I meant dying and coming back. Danny changed because of the accident. His ghost half, the dead side, is what is ironically keeping him alive"
Jason relaxed a bit.
"Yeah, he told me he was half ghost"
"He did! Danny has always been way too trusting. Not that I don't think you can be trusted, it's just, I worry about Danny you know?"
Jason thought about how soft Danny seemed to be, an image of him shoving Jason out his window played in his head.
"I know exactly what you mean"
The shuttle went back though the portal and they stepped out. Sam closed the portal and put a passcode so the Fenton's couldn't open it.
Suddenly the loud booming voice of Jack Fenton could be heard throughout the house.
"Shit" Sam whispered.
"I know Jack, we were so close this time" Maddie said as they walked down the steps in their lab.
"We'll get em next time, no ghost is any match for Jack Fenton!"
Hanging very close to the ceiling from a grappling hook, were Sam and Jason.
Jason let them down slowly and released the grappling hook and the two made a break for the stairs. The Fenton doctors stayed oblivious to the break in.
Sam loud out a loud 'whoop' after they successfully escaped the Fenton household.
"Don't tell bats we broke in to someone's house" Jason said.
"What about the portal?"
Jason tilted his head, "yeah that's going to need explaining"
Sam smiled, "you know Danny Is technically king of that so, it could be like diplomatic. Maybe the JL will leave him alone"
Jason shook his head, "Bats is another breed. Trust me. If he wants to know something he's gonna find out what it is."
Sam sighed, "yeah he seems like the type"
The jet was ready for them when they finally managed to get back to it.
"I hope Tucker was able to help"
"Tuckers Danny's
other friend right?"
"Yeah, he's the tech support of our group."
The corner of Jason's mouth twitched up.
"I have someone like that, we call her Babs"
The jet landed back in Gotham and they made their way back to Danny.
"Tucker!" Sam exclaimed as she ran in and hugged him.
"Hey Sam!"
She pulled away and  held up the bottle.
"This is it, Frostbite said this would work"
"Frostbite?" Superman asked confused.
"He helped Danny before when his powers almost froze him alive" Tucker explained.
"Wow, poor guy" Flash said, "say what's that stuff made out of?"
Sam shrugged, "no clue".
She put the liquid in a clean IV bag and hook it up.
Danny face twitched and scrunched up before relaxing again.
"Now we wait. His core is still recovering from his fight. He hasn't worsened at all has he?" Sam asked.
"No, all his readings are consistent to his normal levels. I noticed some internal burning, I hope that's resolved by your medicine " Superman said.
"Me too" Sam said patting Danny's hand.
"Is Vlad in prison?" Tucker asked with venom in his tone.
"No, he's not in prison" Bruce answered.
"Tch, figures. I hate rich people!"
Sam raised an eyebrow.
"You don't count Sam, you don't live on your parents money"
Sam thought about for a second, "yeah but not all rich people suck. Just most of them"
Jason started cracking up.
Bruce glanced at Jason. When was the last time he had seen Jason smile?
"Oh yeah, status report on the pits. I'm  slowly being healed by cold magic stuff"
Sam slapped her forehead and groaned.
"We have to explain the infinite realms"
Sam took some time explaining the ghost zone and how it worked. Luckily Tucker had already shown them ALL of Danny's enemies. All Sam had to do was explain how the ghost zone was the "flip side of our world".
"The observants are like the kings council, they kind of have more authority than the king. Its around the same. Then there's clockwork. Hes a ghost who can interact with timelines"
"They sound powerful"
"They are, luckily they're more or less on our side, the non-evil side. Since they're dead they can't really become evil either. They aren't swayed by humanity"
Bruce nodded. He couldn't make a contingency plan against the Lord of time. That's like saying you know how to kill God.
"Only one time did he mess with time and it was for Danny. Danny has that kind of sway. It makes you want to do whatever you can for him"
"That's impressive"
"Hes incredible" Jason said sitting down.
"Yeah, he is" Sam smiled.
Danny's condition stabled enough to move him to the manor. They did so in citizen form. It would look suspicious if a bunch of heroes showed up at Wayne Manor.
Jason sat by Danny's bed. It was decided Sam and Tucker would stay at the manor until Danny woke up.
Which might be a while. Sure the medicine was working but Danny's core needed time to recover.

The Summer I Loved You -> E.L. 🐚🍸🪝
Summary: you’re spending time with your friends for the end of the summer before senior year, and your childhood best friend is catching your eye more than you’d like him to
Part 1!
Tumblr media
The sun was burning hot as you walked across the beach, the sand baking the soles of your feet and crackling with tiny shells. Tara, rambling about her latest date with a guy named Mark, passed you the Yeti cup filled with rosé so you could take a lofty sip.
A wine walk, she called it. Which is the only feasible excuse you could think of as to why the both of you were guzzling down a jumbo bottle of wine at noon, the hot Sun making you feel slightly nauseated. Or maybe, to your chagrin, the reason your stomach was turning was because of the two boys you saw up ahead.
Chads Meeks-Martin, your college roommate of three years, and your childhood best friend, Ethan Landry. Chad had a cute girl with platinum streaks in her hair tossed over his shoulder, spinning her around as she screamed with laughter. Her girlfriend, and Chad’s sister, watched in amusement. As Tara and you approached Ethan turned first, his brown curls made wilder by the salt-infused air, his toned arms tanned and bigger than they’d been when you’d seen him two months before.
The five of you would be spending two weeks in Charleston, staying at Anika’s family beach house for a last minute summer vacation before senior year of college. You’d been excited; you hadn’t seen any of them besides Tara, Chad, and Mindy since the end of the semester and, even if you shouldn’t, even if it was ridiculous, you’d missed Ethan more than anyone.
“Y/N,” he greeted, jogging over with a smile you’d known since you were kids. He nodded to Tara, sparing her a quick ‘hey’ before he tugged you into a hug, arms lifting you an inch off the sandy ground. Despite yourself you hugged him tight around the neck, your stomach twisting further at the scent of his cologne mixed with the coconut scent of Mindy’s sunscreen. “when did you guys get here? I thought you’d be here like an hour ago.”
“Tara wanted wine first.” You said, smiling sheepishly as he set you down, eyebrows raised.
You passed him the Yeti as Tara darted off to greet the other three of your friends, and he took a sip. Then he let out a long-suffering sigh, tossing those puppy-eyes of his onto your face.
“I missed you.” He said, passing the cup back as he slung an arm around your shoulders. “Mom’s been on my ass about Senior year. Internships and jobs and all that.” His expression pinched, a hint of stress tugging the corners of his mouth down. “Can you tell her to go easy on me? You’re her favorite.”
“You’re her son.”
“A biological technicality, Y/N.” His hand looped further around your shoulders to hook onto the necklace you wore, a thin chain with a small golden heart. His expression relaxed as he touched a finger to the charm. “I’m surprised you kept this.”
Your face tinged with a hint of pink and you ducked out of his grip.
“Why?” You asked, adjusting the necklace. “It was a gift.”
“Yeah, but—”
“Y/N!” Chad yelled, dashing over to scoop you up the same way he had Anika, yanking you away from Ethan and the topic of the necklace he’d purchased you. “My girl!”
You protested in vain, unable to stop a laugh from leaving you. Chad was one of your closest friends—had been since you’d been stuck together freshmen year—and it was no secret that he’d hit on you once or twice. You’d even matched at a Halloween party sophomore year, he as a shirtless (and stupidly hot) cowboy, you as a sheriff.
The two of you had inside jokes, fought over who did what chores, cooked meals together, and occasionally yelled at each other when he stayed for way too long in the bathroom or you took an everything shower.
But Ethan..
Ethan was your friend since childhood.
Ethan was the one who you called when you were upset, or tired, or bored.
Ethan had been drunk when he’d shown up to you and Chad’s shared apartment months ago, your roommate somewhere else for the night. Ethan had pounded on the door for five minutes straight while you were in the shower, his eyes red when you finally opened up the door. He was tired, he said, he couldn’t sleep, midterms were coming up and he needed you, needed to sleep on your bed. So you’d let him inside, let him collapse under your sheets, let him steal back the oversized shirt he’d left—just in case—inside your bottom drawer.
And when he’d given you the necklace he’d kept shoved in his pocket, moments before passing out, saying he’d bought it for your birthday months before but had been too chicken-shit to hand it over, you’d felt a pull to him that you’d been suppressing since you’d been a kid.
Now though, as you glanced up, eyes locking with Ethan’s, you felt a twinge in your gut as his smile faltered, his focus moving from you to Chad. You smacked your roommate’s back lightly so he’d let you down, your feet crashing back onto hot sand as you righted yourself.
“We’re barbecuing later, and then there’s a party on the beach, and then..” Chad talked as you walked, leading you towards Tara and the others, Ethan trailing behind a step.
When you glanced back he was looking at some point in the distance, seemingly deep in thought. So you hung back, shooing Chad onwards as you fell into step with Ethan, his tiny glance at you making your skin hum. He didn’t even have to say anything—his look towards Chad had ‘your roommate is obnoxious’ written all over it, and you suppressed a laugh.
“Be nice.” You whispered. It was no secret that Ethan’d never been a huge fan of Chad, though you weren’t sure why.
“I am nice. I’m so nice.”
“Surrrre.” You grinned and he bumped a shoulder against yours, tan skin brushing the untouched version of yours that would soon be just as dark. “We’ll have You and Me time, later. Don’t worry.” You said, referring to what he’d started coining as the moments the both of you would sneak off whenever his social battery inevitably drained.
“I need it.” He sighed, his head tilting, a small smile playing on his mouth, and damn you if the sight of his eyes on yours wasn’t the most gorgeous thing you’d seen all summer. But he was Ethan. And that wasn’t something you should be thinking about.
So when his fingers laced through yours, tugging you a bit quicker towards the others, snippets of their conversation coming into focus, you reminded yourself that it meant nothing.
Even if he meant everything.

13 canonically drove a car all the way into the centre of London in Spyfall and not One member of the fam made a single comment about her driving, which implies that she drove in inner city London and did it Well. You Know Graham would have made her pull over and would have taken over driving if it had been bad, he was a professional driver (0nce again i point out that 13 and graham had a chill relationship bc they have bus driver kinship).
And I mean, the Doctor's had their own car before, but It just doesn't compute in my head that 13 drove a 4x4, with skill, through London. But I think maybe i'm thinking about Post spyfall thirteen too much.
Because if this had happened 2 episodes later, the Road Rage would have been Prolific. She'd have been yelling at people (who may not have even done anything wrong) that they're dalek bait and that they should go suck on a pting. She tells 3 different drivers that the Macra can keep them and that she prefers the underground even With Yeti to this. Ryan pictured in the back seat vaguely horrified. Graham is maybe wishing he could have said some of these things in his bus driving days without getting fired. Yaz may be kind of turned on (but the repressed kind of turned on).
No injuries occur except 3 humans now know a Lot of alien swear words.

Hello!
May I request holly Dark Cacao cookie with a s/o who is a white fluffy feathered dragon who is very lazy. Like Dark Cacao probably has to drag them into battle. And was definitely puff up their feathers when mad or is defending something
Hope your doing great! <333
A dark cacao request! Sure thing anon!
Dark cacao x lazy! dragon! reader.
A dragon. Fierce, powerful, deadly, they fly through the sky looking for their next victim.... Is what most people would think hearing the king of the Cacao Kingdom is with a dragon, but no he fell in love with and married a "lazy sack of feathers"
Witches help him, in a kingdom full of warriors, strength, and active citizens..... You are the dragon of the snowy cliffs, a relatively peaceful dragon so long no one harms those you deem your friends... With no obvious threats around you do what most reptiles do... Rest. Now resting itself is not what bothers the mighty king, he understands that rest is good for the body the mind and the soul. It's the fact that when there is a fight that needs your abilities you still wish to rest....
❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
You hear your name. Then footsteps then your name again. "It's an emergency oh great dragon! Twenty seven yetis and a snow lion have started attacking the wall!" You barely move your tail only flicking in acknowledgment. You mumble out a reply "yes that is troubling, but nothing the watchers can't handle" you yawn, stretch, and then turn to the watcher sent to you. A young one, probably still designated as the messenger. "If it was bad enough where you really needed me, my husband would have come and woken me-"
Speak of the cakes you hear him coming up the stairs your name yelled by the king. "What are you doing you lazy sack of feathers, it's time you get up it is that bad!" You don't move. "Do the thing and I'll go" the king motions to the watchers that have gathered to leave, but you command they stay, much to your husband's horror. "If it's that bad, do. The. Thing." He sighs looking at the five watchers who have come to see what the 'thing' that only he can do.
The king sighs, comes closer to you rests his head on you and whispers "my dove, my love, my star. I will..." He hesitated wondering if he had to do this, then he saw your eyes so excited and continued "I will rest and take a day off with you if you come help" you look expecting more and when it doesn't come you motion for him to continue, he sighs "and i will cuddle with you all day" you grin finally getting what you wanted! It's not like he wasn't affectionate he's actually very cuddly and sweet... He just doesn't want citizens to know that he's the clingy one in private. You got up to take care of the issue.
And then the next day, you get your day off with hubby. Dark Cacao gets a day off that he desperately needed, and you get to be the big spoon for once! It was perfect and now that his watchers know that he's cuddly you get more public affection! It was a great couple of days.

Snow Way Home
After the portal accident, Danny is reincarnated as a baby yeti.
For the prompt: After the portal accident, Danny finds himself in the ghost zone (not that he knows that’s where he is). He has become a baby yeti and feels lost and alone. He eventually finds his way to the Far Frozen through instinct, where Frostbite finds him and takes him in. Fluff ensues! [from Neighbor]

Danny felt cold. A deep, penetrating cold that coursed through his veins and made a home in his very bones. But it didn't bother him. He was suspended in a bright green sky, so high above everything that he couldn't see the ground no matter which way he looked, almost like he was in space. He didn't know his up from down, his right from left.
And he was cold. A soft, comfortable cold, like the underside of a pillow, like a breeze on a hot day, like ice cream, or tiny raindrops drifting through a fog. Actually, he was a hundred times colder than any of those, but the cold felt the same.
The last thing he remembered, he was with his friends, poking around his parents' lab. Sam had been taking pictures, and she told him he should go in the portal and then—
Danny heard the sound of a baby crying, and it was close, but when he looked around, he didn't see anyone. Then, he realized the sound was coming from him. Slowly, the crying faded into tiny hiccups and then silence as Danny took stock of where, and more importantly what, he was.
His hands were tiny, and covered in white fur. His nails were thin, translucent claws. He kicked his legs up and saw that his feet were much the same—small, clawed, and covered in white fur. When he reached up to touch his face, he discovered that it, too, was fuzzy, with a damp nose at then end of a snout, no teeth, and floppy ears on the sides of his head. In fact, his whole body appeared to be fluffy and white like fresh snow. And except for the fur, he was naked.
He was a baby... something. A tiny little thing, lost in a vast and empty green sky, and he was alone. He started to cry again, but just as the ice-cold tears began to fall, he felt a weak tugging sensation in his chest. It didn't stop him crying, but he did let him pull him on an air current.
He followed the pull for what felt like days, until, in the distance he saw a floating island covered in ice, all sharp and jagged. In his head, he looked at those edges, and icicles, and spikes, and he thought that it looked like no place for a baby. But in his heart—or... whatever was pulsing in this chest now that felt both like a heart and very unlike a heart—he knew that was home, and he allowed himself to drift gently toward it until he was close enough for the island's gravity to pull him to the snowy ground.
It was a long several minutes before Danny managed to actually stand on his own two feet, but as soon as he took a step on the shifting snow, he fell. He tried several more times to get up and walk forward, but between the shifty, uneven ground and his underdeveloped baby legs, he never managed to stay upright for long. At least the fresh snow provided a nice, soft surface for him to fall on.
Eventually, Danny gave up and began to crawl forward on his hand and knees, calling out every so often. His mouth was uncooperative when it came to forming words, but it didn't stop him from making a decently loud "Eh!" sound every once in a while.
Then, after a few hours of crawling and yelling through the snow, he heard footsteps. Actually, he felt more than heard them, heavy, thumping footsteps that sent vibrations through the snow. Involuntarily, Danny began to cry again. Was this why babies cried all the time? They just couldn't stop themselves if they wanted to.
The footsteps grew closer and closer, and Danny couldn't run, so he just sat there, tugged on his floppy ears, and cried, hoping whatever monster appeared might take pity on him and at least kill him quickly—bite his head off in one big chomp, like he was a gummy bear, so he wouldn't have to suffer.
Finally, the monster rounded a massive jutting spike of ice, and Danny saw what it was. It looked like a yeti, with jagged, icy horns, huge teeth and claws, and glowing yellow eyes. Its left arm was made of ice, through which the bones were visible.
Danny cried louder, and the yeti knelt down, shushing him gently, and reached out with its soft, left arm.
"Shh," he said, in a deep, soothing voice. "Hush, little one. You did well in getting this far, and I'm so proud of you. I shall take you the rest of the way, little one."
Hesitantly, Danny let his tears lighten up, and allowed the yeti to scoop his tiny body into his huge arm and carry him off.
"I am Frostbite," the yeti introduces as he walked. "This is the Realm of the Far Frozen, home to all yeti, including you, little one. And I am its ruler."
As the yeti spoke, Danny looked up at him intently, hanging onto every word. So he was a baby yeti, then. Had he been reincarnated after—a stark fear and discomfort gripped him as he remembered again what had happened to him before winding up here. It must've killed him, he realized belatedly.
Frostbite gently hushed him again. "Shh, shh, little one," he said softly, stroking a frozen claw against the fluffy fur of Danny's face. "You have very intelligent eyes for one so young," the yeti observed. "It's almost as if you can even understand me. And I sense turmoil within you. Did something distressing happen on your journey? Or perhaps... before."
Danny tried to speak, but only succeeded in making a some infantile babbling noises and staring up at frostbite with huge eyes.
"You know, you have rather unusual eyes for a yeti. Most of us have yellow sclera and dark irises, but yours are green, with irises of pale blue," Frostbite mused.
Danny blinked owlishly at him. He hadn't seen his own eyes since showing up in this place of existence, wherever it was, so he hadn't known that. He wondered if it meant anything.
As if in answer, Frostbite said, "It would seem you are favored by the ectoplasm, the very energy of which everything in the Infinite Realms is constructed. That makes you rather special indeed.
"Once we get back to the village, I will take you to the soothsayer. She will divine your name, and determine your ideal parentage. Perhaps today will finally be the day I get to claim a child for my own."
Unsure what to say to that, and unable to say anything regardless, Danny kept staring at the yeti. This was his life, now, it would seem. Or perhaps his afterlife.
As he said, Frostbite carried Danny into a frozen, but cozy-looking village full of yetis. As soon as they saw Danny, several of them came over to coo and fawn over him, and Frostbite made his way to the soothsayer's hut very slowly as he had to keep stopping every few feet to let someone get a good look at Danny. It was overwhelming, and it wasn't long before Danny buried his face in Frostbite's fluffy chest to avoid their eyes.
Finally, the light changed, and Danny looked up to see that he'd been taken into a small, dimly lit hut draped in cloth and furs. In the center of the room was a low fire pit full of glowing coals and embers, circled by worn, blue cushions.
"Galacia," Frostbite called out gently. "Are you here?"
"I live here," croaked an old woman's voice.
Frostbite and Danny both jumped with a start, and looked over to see and elderly, hunched over female yeti. The white fur framing her face was longer and braided, and she war a twisted, golden circlet. One of her horns was broken, and one of her eyes was milky white, and a blue shawl with gold trim was draped over her shoulders.
"I see you've brought me a child," Galacia said. "Let's have a look at him."
She reached out with two skinny, bony arms, and Frostbite gently lowered Danny into them. Danny had been bracing himself for hard angles digging into him, but with the both of them being covered in fur, it wasn't any less comfortable than being held by Frostbite.
"What is his name, Galacia?" Frostbite asked.
"Well, let's just see, shall we?"
She stepped just outside, to where a crowd was gathered, and shifted Danny so he was being help in just one of her arms. Then she reached up with the other to grab one her her braids and ran her fingers down to the tassel at the end. She lifted the tassel to Danny's nose and tickled it.
Danny giggled for a moment, until he felt a sneeze coming on.
"Ah-choo!" He sniffed.
Galacia stared intently at the cloud of condensation that puffed and curled up into the air above him when he sneezed, humming thoughtfully, and when it dissipated she nodded. He waited for her to declare his name was Danny, but instead, she said something completely different.
"He shall be named Polaris, after the star of the north, which is steadfast, enduring, and a guiding light to its people, always there to point the way," the soothsayer announced.
Danny—no... Polaris felt an icy calmness settle into his chest, a rightness like he had never felt before. Though he hadn't been expecting it, it did logically follow that since he was now a yeti, he would be given a yeti name. He'd never met humans named Frostbite, or Galacia, a yeti couldn't be named something so mundane as Danny. Plus... it felt both fitting, and incredibly flattering to be named after a star.
"And... what shall be his parentage," Frostbite asked. He was standing behind Galacia now, in the doorway of the hut. Danny—Polaris could see him over the soothsayer's shoulder, looking hesitantly hopeful.
She put her cold hand on Polaris' soft chest, and closed her eyes, and hummed a low, rattling hum. Then, at once, she stopped cold and her eyes snapped open once more.
"He shall be the son of our leader, of course," Galacia declared. "He shall be raised by our great ruler, and trained to lead and protect the tribe. And when, a thousand years from now, he takes his father's place, we will know that we can trust him with our lives."
Frostbite absolutely beamed at that answer, his eyes glistening with hope, and pride, and joy.
Galacia grabbed Polaris with both hands and thrust him into the air like Simba in the lion king.
"I present to the tribe, Polaris, son of Frostbite, heir to the Realm of the Far Frozen."
The assembled yetis cheered as Frostbite took his new son into his arms with a thousand watt smile.
"I will take good care of you, my son," Frostbite promised.
The baby couldn't help smiling and giggling in the joyous atmosphere, but deep inside him was a heavy trepidation. He wondered if he would be able to hold onto his memories from his life before, as Danny, or if they would fade in time, replaced by his memories as Polaris. He wondered which he would prefer.
Would Sam, and Tucker, and his parents come to look for him? Was there even the slightest possibility of them recognizing him as he was now, if they were even able to find him? Would he be able to fit in with the other yetis if he'd once been human. Had any of the others been human like him, before becoming covered in white fur.
Frostbite held Polaris close against his fur and promised that everything would be fine, that he would always be safe and cared for, and Danny believed him. He believed that everything would be okay.
