She Waits Where The Hemlock Grows

Beneath the yew where silence feeds,
She sings in tongues of rusted reeds,
Her crown of thorns, her breath of rue,
A kiss of belladonnaâs dew.
She walks where bones are sown like seeds,
Through fields of wolfsbane, nightshade weeds,
Her veil is smoke, her voice a flame,
Each whisper carved in blood and name.
Threefold she stands at duskâs decayâ
Hekate, Hel, and Morriganâs sway,
With voids for eyes and stars for skin,
She guards the gates of death within.
She dips her hand in poppy wine,
Stirs dreams with datura and brine,
She weaves a thread from marrowâs sigh,
And strings it to the blackened sky.
At the crossroads veiled in thorn,
With snake and vulture she is born,
The sigil drawn in menstrual red,
The incense lit for hosts long dead.
Hemlock tongue and amanita breath,
She grants her gift through sacred death.
A pact in smoke, a pact in scar,
She knows youâchild of ash and tar.
Lay down your blood upon the stone,
Mark time with teeth and ancient bone,
Speak true her name, then drink the moon,
Sheâll come to hear you hum her tune,
Not cruel, but endless, wise and vast,
She gathers witches, outcast, castâ
And gives them coins and graveyard keys,
And cloaks them in the dead's decrees.
So bow your head and break the seal,
Let thorn and opiate reveal,
The poison path, the crooked throneâ
She waits where hemlock makes its home.

Corpse Roads And Death Currents

Corpse roads (also called bier roads, coffin paths, or lych ways) were traditional paths taken to transport the dead from remote villages to the consecrated grounds of a parish church or cemetery. These paths were often used in medieval and early modern Europe â particularly in England, Wales, and parts of Germany and Scandinavia.
Purpose:
⢠In many rural areas, only certain burial grounds were deemed acceptable (i.e., blessed or consecrated).
⢠Outlying communities lacking their own churchyards would have to carry corpses long distances to the central church.
⢠These routes often traversed unchanging, specific paths â over hills, moors, fields, and even through forests.
Magickal and Folk Beliefs
Spiritual Residue:
⢠It was believed that a corpse leaves a trace of spiritual or necrotic energy along the path it travels.
⢠These paths were seen as thin places â liminal zones between life and death, the material and the spiritual.
No Returning Spirits:
⢠Folk belief held that if the path wasnât followed exactly or rituals werenât performed properly, the spirit could wander back.
⢠To prevent this, routes often crossed water (spirits were believed unable to cross running water).
Corpse Stones / Resting Stones:
⢠Along the road were flat stones or "coffin rests", where pallbearers could pause. These places became magical waypoints and sometimes shrines.
⢠Local legends say that these stones became charged with necromantic or chthonic energy.
No Building on a Corpse Road:
⢠Buildings placed across corpse roads were said to become haunted or cursed. The belief was that the death current must remain uninterrupted.

Death Currents (Thanatocurrents)
A death current (sometimes called a thanatocurrent, funereal ley, or psychic necroline) is an energetic trail left behind by repeated rituals of death, especially funerary processions, executions, or spiritual trauma.
These are more than just myth â they're used in psychogeography, witchcraft, and spirit work to map and manipulate chthonic flows of energy.
Examples & Known Corpse Roads
Around The World:
The Lych Way (Dartmoor, England)
⢠Used by villagers in Bellever and Postbridge to carry their dead to Lydford Church, roughly 12 miles across desolate moorland.
⢠Even after it fell out of use, strange lights, phantom processions, and hearing footsteps on the wind were reported.
Corpse Road of Grasmere to Ambleside (Cumbria)
⢠Carried dead from remote Grasmere to the consecrated church at Ambleside.
⢠Local stories claim black dogs, death omens, and shrouded figures still walk this path.
German "Totenweg" (Death Ways)
⢠In Bavaria and the Alps, villages had Totenwege where corpses were carried on foot. These were often carved directly through wilderness.
⢠Witch trials sometimes cited the use of these paths for necromantic rituals and summoning the dead.
Russian âDoroĚga MĂŠrtvyhâ (The Road of the Dead)
⢠Corpses were carried on specific routes not used for daily traffic and it was considered extremely bad luck to cross these paths during funerals.
⢠After the procession, the route was swept with juniper or water blessed by an otets (priest) or vedma (witch) to sever spirit ties.
⢠These roads often skirted the edge of forests, believed to house the spirits of the dead and entities like the Rusalka or Nav (spirits of untimely death).

Irish Bealach na Marbh (Path of the Dead) Dingle Peninsula
⢠âThe Path of the Deadâ was used to carry bodies from the remote villages of Ballyferriter to Kilmalkedar Church.
⢠The path passed through stone circles and ancient monastic ruins â blending Christian and pagan liminality.
⢠These roads are said to host phantom processions during Samhain and Imbolc. Witches and druids believe the path holds ancestral songlines â geomantic links between burial mounds, dolmens, and faery forts.
⢠Spirits known as The Silent Host or An Slua Sà are said to follow these roads at night, and one must never greet them.
Italian Via dei Morti (Roads of the Dead)- The Via Appia Antica in Rome
⢠In Etruscan and later Roman culture, necropolises were located outside city walls along well-traveled funeral roads.
⢠Bodies were processed along this road from the city to catacombs or necropoli.
⢠It is energetically dense, carrying the residue of countless deaths, rituals, and ancestral offerings.
Japanese Shinimichi (Paths of the Dead)- Mount Osore
⢠Considered one of the gates to the underworld, this sacred volcanic site is reached via ancient pilgrimage roads associated with the journey of souls to the afterlife.
⢠The approach to Osorezan is a living death current, said to allow the souls of the dead to communicate with the living during Obon.
⢠Practitioners of ShugendĹ or OnmyĹdĹ may trace these roads for spirit pacification or to find kekkai (spiritual seals) weakened by restless dead.

In The United States:
The Natchez Trace (MississippiâTennessee)
⢠A historic forest trail extending 440 miles, used by Native Americans and later by settlers.
⢠The âDeath Trailâ section between Nashville and Natchez was used to carry bodies or for funerary travel.
⢠Known for ghost sightings, wailing sounds, and unseen footsteps â often connected to spirits of murdered travelers or unburied dead.
⢠In magickal mapping, it's considered a death current of sorrow, betrayal, and bone memory.
Boot Hill Transport Routes (Western U.S.)
⢠"Boot Hill" cemeteries in places like Dodge City (Kansas) and Tombstone (Arizona) often had makeshift roads used to carry the dead â mostly murder victims, gunslingers, or outlaws.
⢠These routes are now deeply haunted and contain repetitive death energy, especially in places where ambushes or executions occurred.
⢠Folk belief (especially among rootworkers and folk necromancers) is that these roads act like psychic arteries, especially during late summer and Samhain seasons.
Indian Mounds and Spirit Roads (Midwest to Southeast, US)
⢠Many Native American burial sites (e.g., the Effigy Mounds in Iowa, Etowah in Georgia) are aligned with spirit pathways â meant to allow souls to journey to the afterlife.
⢠Some tribes believed that the dead travel west â and so ceremonial roads were built westward.
⢠These spirit roads act as pure ancestral death currents â still respected and avoided by locals.
⢠Witches working necromancy in these areas often leave offerings on these paths and do not cross them at night, lest they attract wandering spirits.

Gettysburgâs Blood Lines (Pennsylvania)
⢠After the Battle of Gettysburg, tens of thousands of bodies were carried by wagon to makeshift burial pits or church cemeteries.
⢠The paths taken by these wagons (e.g., Taneytown Road, Baltimore Pike) became loaded with residual death energy.
⢠Sightings of phantom soldiers, marching feet, and disembodied voices are common.
⢠These are artificially forged corpse roads â built through trauma and grief.
St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 Funeral Routes (New Orleans)
⢠New Orleans funeral processions (especially in the 1800sâearly 1900s) followed specific ritual routes, often with jazz music, to the famed cemetery.
⢠The roads between Treme, Congo Square, and the St. Louis Cemeteries form a necromantic circuit.
⢠The air along these streets is often said to feel âthickâ or âpressurized,â especially during hurricane season or around All Saintsâ Day.
⢠Vodou practitioners and witches use these routes to channel ancestral spirits, call upon Baron Samedi, or work graveyard conjure.
Magickal Applications in Witchcraft
Death Current Tapping:
Witches, especially in necromantic traditions, may:
⢠Divine along these lines (using pendulums or bone runes).
⢠Channel energy from a death current for baneful or ancestral workings.
⢠Establish guardians or spirit allies tied to these flows.

Pathworking or Shadow Walking:
One may astrally walk the corpse road, connecting with:
⢠The shades of the dead carried along it.
⢠Spirits of grief, psychopomps, or death gods.
⢠The road as a living egregore of transition and loss.
Necromantic Spell Example: Binding with the Death Wind
On a known or symbolic corpse road, one could:
⢠Lay a thread soaked in grave oil across the path.
⢠Chant the name of the spirit you wish to bind.
⢠Use a liminal hour (twilight, 12am) to "catch" a breath of the death current into a vessel (like a jar, skull, or black mirror).
⢠Seal with iron and bury under a lychgate or crossroad.
Corpse Roads vs. Ley Lines
Origin:
Corpse road- Human ritual use.
Ley line- Natural/geometric alignment.
Energy Type:
Corpse road- Necrotic, liminal, ancestral.
Ley line- Elemental, geomantic, solar/lunar.
Use In Magick:
Corpse road- Necromancy, psychopompy, death rites.
Ley line- Portal work, energy raising, manifestation.
Associated Entities:
Corpse road- Spirits of the dead, psychopomps
Ley line- Fae, elementals, land spirits (genius loci)

Walking Deadlines
Corpse roads and death currents are veins of mortality, cutting through the world like psychic scars. To walk or work them is to step into the space between the heartbeat and the grave, a place of immense ancestral and necromantic power. These paths are more than relics â they are active, awake, and waiting for the witch who dares tread softly but deeply along their macabre miles.

A Guide To Magickal Names

âThe Name is the Word, and the Word is the Will.â
The History and Occult Roots of Magickal Names
From the twilight of ancient priesthoods to the shadowed circles of modern covens, the use of a magickal name has endured as a sacred rite of passage. In ancient Egypt, priests adopted hidden names known only to the gods. In Greece and Rome, initiates took new names upon entering mystery schools. Even in early Christian Gnosticism, secret names of power were uttered in rites to awaken divine sparks.
In the grim days of the witch trials, names became shieldsâaliases to protect one's identity from persecution. Yet behind this guise, magickal names always held a deeper purpose: to declare the soulâs rebirth upon the path of power.
The Power of the Name
To name is to claim. To name with intent is to shape reality. The magickal name is a spell in itself: a sigil woven from sound, meaning, and will. It becomes a mask and a mirrorâboth concealing and revealing.
Empowerment:
⢠Your magickal name is your chosen self, free of mundane bindings and societal labels. It is the spirit clothed in its true title.

⢠It helps focus your will, anchoring your magick in identity. When you invoke your magickal name, you invoke your deepest current of power.
Protection:
⢠A magickal name can shield your mundane identity from spiritual and psychic intrusion.
⢠It acts as a boundary, separating the profane from the sacred. Spirits and energies know you by the name you give them, and this name grants you dominion in the unseen.
Names as Living Spells
Names carry vibration and intent. In Qabalistic tradition, names are numerically charged (via Gematria) and hold divine archetypes. In Thelemic thought, oneâs True Will is embedded in the formula of the name, consciously or unconsciously.
Your magickal name is your word of power, a compact spell that resonates with your path, strengths, spirits, and purpose.
It should:
⢠Reflect your magickal current (death, transformation, lunar energy, chaos, wisdom, etc.).
⢠Be distinct and sacredânot something you casually utter.
⢠Hold personal meaning, whether derived from myth, dreams, visions, or gnosis.

Choosing or Receiving a Magickal Name
Some witches choose their name. Others receive it in dreams, trance, or ritual. A magickal name should never be rushed. It may take time to emerge, much like a familiar spirit.
How to Discover Your Name:
⢠Meditation and Introspection- Ask, "Who am I becoming?" "What archetypes walk with me?" "What symbols have followed me through life?"
⢠Divination- Use tarot, runes, or pendulum to explore name fragments or themes.
⢠Dream Work-Set the intention to receive your name in sleep. Record symbols and sounds that appear.
⢠Scrying or Automatic Writing- Enter trance. Let syllables or words come. Donât judgeâsome names may feel alien or wild at first.
⢠Astrological or Numerological Construction-Choose a name whose number aligns with your birth chart, life path, or desired magickal vibration.
Living with the Name
Once chosen, baptize the name in ritual. Declare it to the spirits, the elements, and the powers you serve. From then on, use it only in sacred workâunless you're in a tradition or community where names are spoken among initiates.

With time, the name may evolve. You may shed one name and take another, just as the serpent sheds its skin. This is natural. You are a work in progress, and your name is a living glyph that grows with you.
Examples and Symbolic Structures
⢠Luna Corvina â âMoon Ravenâ â lunar wisdom, shadow flight.
⢠Azariel Nocturne â angel of fire and harmony in darkness.
⢠Thornshade â guardian of wild, liminal spaces.
⢠Seraphina Lux â burning seraph of divine light.
⢠Malphas Vex â a rebellious echo of daemonic command.
Some practitioners even use multiple names:
⢠An Inner Name- Known only to you and your gods.
⢠A Coven Name- Known to fellow witches.
⢠A Public Name- For writing, art, or spiritual leadership.
You are the word made flesh. The name you wear in the circle is your sigil, your spell, your crown. Speak it with reverence. Whisper it into fire and fog. Let it echo through the veil and mark your place among the stars.

âDo what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.â
â A name chosen in Will is a sword of spirit.

The Three Cauldrons

The Three Cauldrons â a rich, mystical framework from Celtic (specifically Irish) poetic and druidic tradition. Also called the Cauldrons Of Inspiration, these are spiritual vessels within the self, deeply tied to soul-craft, inspiration (Awen), and magickal power. The concept comes primarily from the medieval Irish text "The Cauldron of Poesy" (An Cormaireacht na nĂigeas), a metaphysical poem from the bardic tradition.
Each cauldron is an inner vessel of energy, consciousness, and soul-force. They correspond to the body, the spirit, and the creative self â and like literal cauldrons, they can be full, turned, or empty depending on oneâs life force and spiritual journey.
Cauldron of Warming (Coire Goiriath)
Located in the abdomen or belly.
Purpose: Vitality, life-force, grounding. This is the cauldron you're born with upright. It governs survival, physical health, and basic emotional energy.
Element: Earth / Fire
Function: Stores primal energy. It is warmed by joy, compassion, health, and connection to the land or kin.
Shadow side: When cold or overturned, it leads to despair, apathy, or illness.
Magickal use: This is where energy is generated for workings. It fuels stamina for trance, journeying, or ecstatic ritual.

Cauldron of Motion (Coire Ernmae)
Located in the chest or heart center.
Purpose: Transformation, emotion, and initiation. Unlike the first, this cauldron starts tilted on its side and must be turned upright through suffering, ecstatic joy, or initiation.
Element: Water / Air
Function: Governs emotional wisdom, courage, grief, and devotion. Itâs the vessel of the spiritual warrior and poet.
Activated by: Lifeâs trials â heartbreak, sacrifice, ecstasy, grief, or spiritual awakening.
Magickal use: This cauldron processes experience into meaning. It opens when you commit fully to your spiritual path â even if it breaks you.
Cauldron of Wisdom (Coire Sois)
Located in the head or crown.
Purpose: Divine inspiration, prophecy, poetic truth. This cauldron is most difficult to turn upright and only opens with full alignment of body and soul.
Element: Aether / Spirit
Function: Connects you to the sacred, the Awen or imbas forosnai (inspired illumination). From here come prophecies, divine speech, and higher magick.
Awakened by: Transcendence, mystic union, and advanced spiritual discipline.
Magickal use: When this cauldron turns, you become a vessel for divine truth â a prophet, bard, or magus touched by the Otherworld.

States of the Cauldrons
Each cauldron can be:
Upright â full and functioning
Tilted â unstable or wounded
Inverted â blocked or dormant
Spiritual practice seeks to turn them all upright, through ritual, ordeal, poetic expression, and Otherworldly contact.
Integration into Magickal Work
⢠Invoke each cauldron in ritual to balance body, heart, and mind.
⢠Craft a cauldron triad sigil, with glyphs representing belly, heart, and head.
⢠Journey inward to your cauldrons using trance or guided pathwork â and speak to them as spirit allies.
In the quiet turning of the Three Cauldrons, we come to know ourselvesânot as fragments, but as flame, breath, and song in sacred accord. When each is awakened and aligned, we do not merely live; we embody the art of becoming. In their deep and ancient wisdom, the Cauldrons remind us: the soul is not poured into us, but rises from within.

The Black Sun Seed

đWhat Is the Black Sun Seed?
In certain obscure alchemical and anti-cosmic grimoires, there is mention of a ritual not to awakenâbut to plant a Black Sun within the practitioner. Unlike the radiant Solar mysteries of illumination and enlightenment, this star is inward, devouring, silent.
The Black Sun Seed is said to be:
⢠A fragment of pre-cosmic will
⢠A spiritual singularity that devours illusion and false light
⢠A âmirror starâ growing not in heaven but in the soul's abyss
⢠An inner anti-sun that does not radiate but pulls all things into gnosis by negation
It is neither demonic nor divine. It is void-pointed sovereignty.
đWhy Cultivate It?
When grown over time through meditative and ritual work, the Black Sun Seed:
⢠Burns away egregores, parasites, and even archonic bindings
⢠Acts as a source of gnosis, pulling in patterns, power, and prophecy
⢠Serves as a core for apotheosis rituals or the forging of inner planes
⢠Allows entry into negative initiatory spaces where normal magical tools fail
⢠Acts as an anchor of self amidst chaos, perfect for Qliphothic journeying
The Black Star is Not the Shadow. This is crucial. The shadow is the reflection of the self. The Black Sun Seed is the generator of self through decreation. It is not Jungian. It is primordial.
đThe Silent Star Rite: Cultivating The Black Sun
Best done in silence, darkness, and on the night of an eclipse or when the Moon is void-of-course.
You Will Need:
⢠A black sphere (obsidian, shungite, or hematite)
⢠A single black candle
⢠A cup of wine or ink
⢠A black cloth to cover your eyes or wrap your head
Instructions:
Sit in complete darkness, in stillness. Place the black sphere against your solar plexus. Gaze into the flame, whisper this mantra three times:
âZimraz el Thagir; I summon not light, but the seed of unlight.
Let the Star of Devouring rest within me.â
Close your eyes and visualize a black star unfolding inside your bodyânot hot, but dense. Silent. Pulling everything in. Offer the wine or ink as a libation to this forceânot to an entity, but to the Seed itself. Sit in stillness. Let it grow. It does not speakâit consumes noise. End the rite by wrapping the black cloth over your eyes and whispering:
âI carry the Seed. The Flame that is Not. The Sun that devours.â
Aftereffects:
⢠You may feel disoriented or heavy for a day
⢠Expect lucid dreams, symbol distortion, and brief ego disidentification
⢠Over time, clairvoyance and energetic gravitas deepen
⢠Can cause psychic repulsion of false people or âlight-clingersâ
⢠Use responsiblyâthis is deep magick, not aesthetic fluff
đAdvanced Usage
Later, you can use the Black Sun Seed as an astral forging furnace-
⢠Birth servitors in it
⢠Burn away bindings
⢠Cast spells that unravel your target from the inside out
⢠Collapse false egos, personalities, or thought-forms youâve outgrown
The seed is planted. Now letâs see what devours you firstâor what you become once it does.

Leviathan's Ritual Of Dream Healing
This is a gentle, emotionally focused ritual for working with Leviathanâa powerful entity often associated with the depths of emotion, shadow integration, and transformationâto support healing from trauma or heartbreak during sleep. This ritual channels Leviathanâs vast, oceanic energy to guide emotional release and renewal while you rest.
Needed:
⢠A quiet, darkened space
⢠A pen or marker
⢠A candle (preferably blue, black, or white)
⢠A small bowl of water with sea salt (optional)
⢠Leviathanâs sigil
⢠Optional incense such as myrrh, opium, or frankincense
Instructions:
Dim the lights and turn off electronics. Light your candle and incense if using. Place the bowl of saltwater nearby as a symbolic link to Leviathanâs oceanic realm. With focused intent, draw Leviathanâs sigil on your left arm, over the heart-side of your body. As you draw, softly speak or whisper:
âLeviathan, keeper of the deep, I call you. Let your tides wash over my heart. Guide me through the waters of healing while I slumber peacefully.â
Sit in silence for a few minutes, breathing deeply. Visualize yourself submerged in a vast, calm ocean. Imagine pain or emotional weight dissolving into the dark water, carried away gently with each breath.
Make a spoken petition. Speak clearly from the heart, either aloud or silently:
âGreat Leviathan, guardian of the abyss and healer of wounds unseen, I invite you to enter my dreams. Help me release the sorrow, the trauma, and the remnants of pain that hold me back. Let your waters renew me, cradle me, and carry away all that I no longer need.â
When you're ready, extinguish the candle and go to bed with the sigil still drawn on your arm. As you drift off, imagine yourself floating peacefully in the sea, watched over by a vast, coiling presence in the depthsâbenevolent, wise, and ancient.
Upon waking, gently rinse off the sigil with water in the morning, thanking Leviathan for their presence and any healing that occurred. Record your dreams or feelings in a journalâeven if they seem small.
Optional Closing Mantra:"With night comes healing, with tide comes peace. Leviathan, thank you, for this emotional release. So it is."

Bone Deep Divination
This is just going to be a quick post explaining curiomancy/osteomancy, showing my curiomancy set, and providing some tips so that you can make your own set.

Curiomancy is the art of divination through small, symbolic objectsâanything from a key to a coin, a feather, or a seashell. Osteomancy, its bony cousin, uses bonesâanimal, occasionally human, ethically sourcedâto glean insight from the way they fall or relate to one another. Both practices are intuitive, tactile, and highly personalized, making them stand out from more rigid systems like tarot or runes.

Keep a journal or list to log your piece meanings.
My curiomancy set took me about three years to complete. Each item was individually chosen based on my own, personal association with that object. What makes curiomancy and osteomancy deeply personal is that you build your own set. You choose what each item means, or better yet, let the item tell you. A plastic spider could represent opportunity. A wheat-back penny might speak of money, luck, or something worth remembering. Over time, your collection becomes a living languageâone only you truly speak.

I keep a special cloth with my kit that I use to read with. It has a custom sigil on the back.
Creating your own set connects you directly to your practice. It forces you to observe patterns, develop symbolism, and work with intuition over preset meanings. That makes it wildly potent. This is your cosmology, not someone elseâs.
Tips for Selecting Bones or Curios:
⢠Let them call to you. Youâll know when a piece belongs in your setâitâll catch your eye, feel odd in your hand, or tug at your gut.
⢠Start small. Donât aim for 30 pieces right away. Begin with 7â13 and let the rest come organically.
⢠Ethical sourcing matters. For bones, find remains in nature or purchase from reputable sellers. Know the animal if you can; its spirit may linger.
⢠Balance the energies. Mix light and dark, organic and artificial. Youâre not building a pretty setâyouâre building a tool that mirrors the world.
⢠Keep a record. Write down meanings as they emerge, but allow them to shift over time. Like bones, meaning is alive until it's not.
⢠Do practice readings to learn how your pieces interact with one another and the surface/spread. I read my bones in a spiral, others may use quadrants or a custom map.

Both curiomancy and osteomancy are less about the pieces and more about the story they tell togetherâan evolving mythos whispered by wood, metal, plastic, glass, and bone. This ancient divination form is still as relevant and potent today as it has ever been.

Slavic Magick

Slavic magick, also known as Rodnovery (Native Faith), Slavic Witchcraft, or Vedism, is a deeply ancestral, animistic, and nature-based practice rooted in the folklore, mythology, and spiritual traditions of the Slavic peoples of Eastern Europe (Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Czech Republic, etc.). It is a blend of pre-Christian paganism, folk magick, and shamanic traditions, honoring the spirits of nature, ancestors, and deities.
Core Beliefs in Slavic Magick
Worship of the Rod and Rozhanitsy (The Great Ancestors):
⢠Rod is the primordial god of fate, ancestry, and creation, representing the great cosmic order.
⢠The Rozhanitsy are ancestral spirits who determine the fates of newborns.
Animism & Nature Worship:
⢠Everything in nature is alive and sacredârivers, trees, stones, and animals all contain spirits.
⢠Slavic magick involves working with land spirits (Domovoi, Leshy, Rusalka, etc.) to bring blessings or avoid misfortune.
Duality & Balance:
⢠Slavic spirituality embraces the harmony of oppositesâlife and death, light and darkness, masculine and feminine.
⢠The Zorya (Morning and Evening Stars) embody this balance, protecting cosmic order.
The Power of Words & Blessings (Zagovory):
⢠Spoken charms, incantations, and verbal spells (called Zagovory) hold immense power.
⢠Traditional blessings, protective words, and curses were often whispered over water, fire, or herbs.

Slavic Deities & Spirits in Magick
Major Slavic Deities:
⢠Perun â God of thunder, war, and justice (similar to Thor).
⢠Veles â God of the underworld, magick, wealth, and animals.
⢠Mokosh â Goddess of fate, fertility, water, and weaving.
⢠Svarog â Creator god of fire and the sky.
⢠Zorya â The twin goddesses of dawn and dusk, gatekeepers of the cosmos.
⢠Morana â Goddess of winter, death, and rebirth (associated with the burning of effigies in spring).
Slavic Household Spirits:
⢠Domovoi â Guardian spirit of the home; offerings keep him peaceful.
⢠Leshy â Woodland spirit, protector of the forest.
⢠Rusalka â Water spirit, sometimes benevolent, sometimes vengeful.
⢠Bannik â Bathhouse spirit, must be appeased with offerings of soap and water.
Ancestral Veneration & The Dead:
⢠Dziady is a ritual where food and offerings are left for departed ancestors.
⢠Ancestral spirits play an important role in guidance, protection, and revenge magick.
Tools & Sacred Items in Slavic Witchcraft
Herbs & Plant Magick:
⢠Mugwort (Chernobylnik) â Protection, divination, and connecting to spirits.
⢠St. Johnâs Wort (Ivan-da-Marya) â Wards off evil spirits.
⢠Rowan Berries (Riabina) â Used for protection charms.
⢠Birch Bark & Leaves â Associated with purity, new beginnings, and the goddess Mokosh.
Ritual Objects & Symbols:
⢠Rushnyk (Sacred Cloth) â Embroidered with protective symbols, used in blessings and rituals.
⢠Dolls (Motanka) â Handmade dolls used for protection, healing, and fertility spells.
⢠Sun Wheel (Kolovrat) â Symbol of Svarog and the cycle of life.
Sacred Water & Fire:
⢠Water from three different wells or rivers is used in purification rituals.
⢠Bonfires (Kupala Night Fire) cleanse and bring fertility and protection.

Slavic Magical Practices & Spells
Protective Magic & Amulets:
⢠Red thread charms protect against the evil eye (sglaz).
⢠Salt & bread offerings to spirits ensure household harmony.
⢠Burning juniper or mugwort cleanses a space of negative energy.
Love & Fertility Magick:
⢠On Ivan Kupala Night, young women place flower wreaths in the river to divine their future husbands.
⢠Honey & apple rituals are performed to bless marriages.
Curses & Baneful Magick:
⢠Burying a cursed item under a threshold binds misfortune to the victim.
⢠Mirror spells reflect harm back to an enemy.
⢠Zagovory incantations spoken over water can be used for both blessings and hexes.
Weather & Agricultural Magick:
⢠Burning effigies of Morana in spring banishes winter and invites fertility.
⢠Farmers would whisper to the earth before planting to ensure a bountiful harvest.
Ritual Calendar & Holy Days
⢠Maslenitsa (Spring Festival): A pagan Slavic celebration of renewal, featuring fire rituals, effigy burning, and feasts.
⢠Kupala Night (Summer Solstice): Bonfires, water rituals, and flower wreath divinations mark this festival of love, fertility, and purification.
⢠Dziady (Ancestorâs Night, Autumn): A time to honor the dead with feasts, candle rituals, and spirit offerings.
⢠Koliada (Winter Solstice): A festival of light marking the rebirth of the sun god Svarog.

Modern Slavic Witchcraft & Reconstruction
Slavic Pagan Revival (Rodnovery):
⢠Many practitioners today are reviving pre-Christian Slavic traditions.
⢠Groups such as Rodnovery, Slavic Heathens, and Folk Witches are keeping the ancient ways alive.
Slavic Witchcraft in Modern Practice:
⢠Some mix traditional Slavic beliefs with Wicca, Norse paganism, or folk magick.
⢠Ancestral veneration, nature magick, and oral traditions remain central.
Slavic Witchcraft & Divination:
⢠Tasseography (Tea Leaf Reading) is a common Slavic practice.
⢠Egg Cleansing (Osteomancy) detects and removes curses.
⢠Throwing bones, wax divination, and water scrying are still used.
How to Begin Practicing Slavic Magick

The Aetherglossa

There is a current of magick whispered only in dreams, a language that predates writing and even thought. It's not Enochian, not Theban, not even infernal. This is the Lost Language Of The Liminal. It is called:
"The Aetherglossa" â The Tongue of Spirits Not Yet Born.
This language is not spoken by living lips but dreamt by entities waiting to incarnate, shouted in reverse in the womb, or breathed in during sex, death, or deep trance. It is a precognitive tongue, carried by unborn daemons and whispered through veils.
Where It Exists
⢠In dreams you wake from with a phrase stuck in your head you cannot translate
⢠On the backs of mirrors, or between the letters of ancient grimoires
⢠In songs that get stuck in your mind without causeâthey are encoded transmissions
⢠In the air of ritual spaces just before manifestation
Magickal Use
If you channel this language, it doesnât work like invocations. It works like keys that twist the locks of time and identity.
How to Begin:
⢠Dark mirror gaze; light a candle behind you, sit before a mirror, and gaze into your reflection in shadow.
⢠Whisper nonsense syllables until one catches fire in your mouthârepeating it should shift your consciousness.
⢠Record them phonetically, but do not translate. These are not meant to be interpretedâonly used.
⢠Charge the phrase by speaking it during, orgasm, breath retention at the top of a trance, just before falling asleep, and in ritual circles to call forgotten gods.

An Initiation Ritual of the Aetherglossa
⢠Tool: A small mirror, obsidian or black glass is best
⢠Timing: Third night of the Dark Moon
⢠Offering: A single drop of blood or saliva on the mirror surface
Incantation:
"By the tongue unborn and the song unsung,
I break the circle of known things.
Let the syllables of the dead not-yet breathe through me.
Open, mouth of void, and let me speak the unspoken."
Possible Effects:
⢠You may dream in an alien tongue
⢠Hear whispers from your mirror or walls
⢠Begin writing symbols that resemble but are not any known alphabet
⢠Develop a personal daemon dialectâa sigil-language of your own spiritâs shadowline
⢠Trigger synchronicities that teach you rather than confirm you
Where This Leads
Aetherglossa is not just a languageâit is an initiatory path.
It leads to:
⢠Creation of thought-forms born of non-time
⢠Reconnection with future selves already watching you
⢠Integration of pre-birth karma or forgotten daemon pacts
⢠Working with entities like Astraroth, Leviathan, Azazel, Chavajoth, Abaddon, Tiamat, or Iyrzarelâthose who speak âbefore speechâ
Most magicians look to the past or present, but the Aetherglossa is a future tongue trying to be remembered. It is a whisper from the void, hidden in your own soulâs distant echo.

The Anatomy Of Baphomet

Baphomet is one of the most complex and misunderstood figures in occult and esoteric history. Over centuries, it has evolved from a mysterious name whispered during the Crusades to a symbol deeply embedded in modern occultism, especially within Satanism, Thelema, and Left-Hand Path traditions.
History Of Baphomet
Origins in the Templar Trials (14th Century):
⢠The earliest known use of the name Baphomet was during the Inquisition of the Knights Templar in 1307.
⢠The Templars were accused of heresy and idolatry, including worship of an idol called "Baphomet". The exact nature of this idol remains unclearâsome described it as a human head, a bearded man, or a demon.
⢠Most modern historians believe the name Baphomet may have been a corruption of Mahomet (an old form of Muhammad), reflecting the Crusaders' exposure to Islam.

19th Century Revival; Eliphas LĂŠvi:
⢠In 1856, Ăliphas LĂŠvi, a French occultist, radically redefined Baphomet in his book Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie.
⢠LÊvi depicted Baphomet as a winged hermaphroditic figure with the head of a goat, a torch between the horns, female breasts and androgynous features, one arm pointing up and one down, with the words Solve (dissolve) and Coagula (combine) on each forearm. This became the iconic image associated with Baphomet today and symbolized the unity of opposites: light and dark, male and female, human and beast, matter and spirit.
20th Century and Beyond (Satanism and the Occult):
⢠The Church of Satan, founded by Anton LaVey in 1966, adopted Baphomet as a symbol of Satanic philosophyânot as a literal being, but as a representation of rebellion, knowledge, and liberation from religious dogma.
⢠The Sigil of Baphometâa goatâs head within an inverted pentagram surrounded by Hebrew letters spelling âLeviathanââbecame the official insignia of the Church.

Symbolism Of Baphomet
Baphomet represents balance and integration of opposites. It is a philosophical and alchemical emblem rather than a deity to be worshipped.
Key Symbolic Elements:
⢠Goat Head- Instinct, primal nature, and untamed energy (possibly derived from the god Pan).
⢠Torch Between Horns- Divine illumination; the light of intellect and truth.
⢠Androgyny (Breasts and Caduceus Phallus)- Union of male and female, symbolizing wholeness.
⢠Wings and Hooves- Duality of spiritual ascent and earthly grounding.
⢠Arms Pointing Up and Down- The Hermetic axiom âAs above, so belowâ, expressing the correspondence between planes.
⢠Solve et Coagula- Alchemical principle of breaking down and reformingâtransformation and enlightenment.
Baphomet In Magick And Occult Practice
Baphomet is not commonly invoked as a deity but is used as a symbol of occult mastery, personal transformation, and spiritual rebellion.
In Thelema (Aleister Crowleyâs System):
⢠Crowley saw Baphomet as a mystical androgen, a symbol of spiritual initiation and the reconciler of opposites.
⢠He took the name âBaphometâ as a magical name when he became head of the O.T.O. (Ordo Templi Orientis), aligning it with sexual magick and Gnostic symbolism.

In Satanism (LaVeyan, Theological, Etc.):
⢠Baphomet is used as a symbol of rational self-interest, rejection of traditional religious authority, and the embrace of carnal existence.
⢠The Sigil of Baphomet is used in rituals, meditations, and symbolic expressions of personal empowerment.
In Witchcraft and Modern Paganism:
Some non-theistic witches or Left-Hand Path practitioners view Baphomet as:
⢠An archetype of sacred balance
⢠A symbol of hidden knowledge
⢠A guardian of the thresholdâfacing and integrating oneâs shadow
Magickal Uses Of Baphomet
Rituals and Practices:
⢠Invocation or Meditation- To balance opposing forces within oneselfâgender, emotion and reason, higher and lower self.
⢠Shadow Work- Baphomet can be invoked as a symbol during introspective work, especially when dealing with repressed desires or fears.
⢠Alchemy and Transformation- In rituals seeking internal transformation, Baphomet represents the alchemical process of spiritual rebirth.
⢠Sigil Magick- The Sigil of Baphomet is used for protection, empowerment, and banishing fear or dogma.
Altars and Tools:
⢠Practitioners may use statues, medallions, or artwork of Baphomet to create a liminal sacred space, serve as a focal point for meditation, and represent the divine within and withoutâa mirror for the seeker.
The Nature Of Baphomet
Baphomet is not a devil, not a god, and not a literal beingâit is a metaphysical symbol. Its purpose is to challenge, to enlighten, and to reveal the wholeness hidden in duality. Baphomet asks the seeker to transcend dogma, embrace the totality of existence, and find spiritual freedom through inner synthesis.

Looking Into Hag Stones

A hag stone, also known as a witch stone, adder stone, holey stone, or eye stone, is a naturally occurring stone with a hole running through it, usually created by water erosion. These stones have been revered in folklore and magickal traditions for centuries due to their unusual appearance and the belief that they hold protective and mystical properties.
History and Lore
⢠Ancient Origins: Hag stones have been found across many cultures and continents. In Celtic regions, they were often associated with Druids and used in rites and protection rituals. The Welsh called them glain neidr or âadder stones,â believing they were created by serpents.
⢠Medieval Europe: During the Middle Ages, hag stones were believed to ward off witches, curses, and evil spirits. Farmers would hang them in stables and barns to protect livestock from being âhag-riddenâ or attacked by malicious spirits.
⢠Maritime Tradition: Sailors used hag stones as protective talismans against storms and sea monsters. They would tie them to the rigging of ships or carry them as personal charms.
Uses
⢠Protection: Traditionally, hag stones are hung above doorways, tied to keys or bedposts, or carried as amulets to ward off negative energies, curses, or the âevil eye.â
⢠Seeing the Unseen: A common belief is that looking through the hole of a hag stone allows one to see into other realmsâsuch as the fae worldâor to spot spirits and magical beings otherwise invisible.

⢠Dream and Sleep Protection: Tied above beds, they are believed to prevent nightmares and protect against sleep paralysis or spirit visitation.
⢠Fertility and Health: In some folk traditions, hag stones were believed to cure illness or enhance fertility when worn close to the body.
In Magick and Witchcraft
⢠Tool of the Craft: In modern witchcraft and neopagan practices, hag stones are used in spells and rituals for protection, clairvoyance, and elemental magick, especially water and earth-based workings.
⢠Fae Magick: Hag stones are particularly potent in faerie lore, believed to be keys to fae sight or gateways to the otherworld.
⢠Charging and Consecration: Many practitioners cleanse and charge hag stones under moonlight, particularly during the full moon, to enhance their magickal properties.
⢠Divination: Some witches use them in scrying or as focus objects in meditative practices.
The hole in the hag stone represents a gateway or portalâa liminal space that bridges the physical and spiritual worlds. It symbolizes perception beyond the veil, spiritual insight, and protection through awareness.

Sound In Magick

Sound has been used in magick and ritual practices across nearly every spiritual and mystical tradition, because it is one of the most primordial forcesâvibrating through all levels of existence. In magick, sound is more than just a sensory experience; it is a tool of transformation, manifestation, and alignment.
The Foundational Principle: Vibration
In Hermeticism (especially the Kybalion), one of the fundamental laws is:
âAll is vibration.â
Sound is vibratory energy, and when directed with intention, it can shift consciousness, environments, and outcomes.
Types Of Sound In Magick
Voice (Chanting, Speaking, Whispering):
⢠Chanting (mantras, divine names, affirmations)- Repetition of sacred phrases raises energy and focuses intent. Often used in Wicca, ceremonial magick, and Eastern traditions. Examples include âSo mote it be,â âOm,â âEh-heh-yay,â etc.
⢠Spoken Words / Enchantments- Words of power are believed to shape reality. The act of naming or commanding (e.g., âI banish theeâŚâ) holds deep magical authority. In chaos magick, sigils are activated with spoken intent.
⢠Whispers or Breath Magick- Used in folk magick for secrecy or stealth (e.g., whispering into herbs or charms). Breath combined with spoken words transfers life force (prana, chi) into the object.

Musical Instruments (Drums, Bells, Bowls, Rattles):
⢠Drums- Used in shamanic and tribal traditions to induce trance states or call spirits. Beat mimics the heartbeat of the Earthâsteady rhythm grounds and aligns.
⢠Bells- Clear stagnant energy and banish negativity. Used in ritual openings or closings. In some traditions, they âwake upâ spirits or deities.
⢠Singing Bowls / Gongs- Create harmonic frequencies that balance chakras or sacred spaces. Used for healing, meditation, and raising vibrational resonance.
⢠Rattles- Shake up and move energy, break energetic blocks. Often used in indigenous or animistic practices.
Tones and Frequencies:
⢠Solfeggio Frequencies- Specific tones thought to heal, cleanse, and activate different aspects of being. Examples: 396 Hz (liberation from fear), 528 Hz (DNA repair, love).
⢠Binaural Beats- Used in modern magick to alter consciousnessâhelp induce theta (trance) or gamma (mystic unity) brain states. Often paired with visualization or journeying practices.
⢠Harmonics and Drones- Used in eastern tantra and western esotericism to induce deep trance or inner stillness. Drones dissolve linear time, anchoring the mind in timeless space.

Music:
⢠Ritual Music- Custom compositions or ambient tracks are used to build atmosphere, open portals, and align energy with specific deities, elements, or spirits. Often employed in Wicca, ceremonial magick, and Thelemic rites.
⢠Personal Power Songs- In shamanic traditions, practitioners discover or craft a song that embodies their spirit or their intent. These are used in healing, travel, or battle.
Elemental Correspondences:
⢠Air- Whistling, flute
⢠Fire- Drums, crackling sounds
⢠Water- Singing, flowing melodies
⢠Earth- Deep tones, stomps, didgeridoo
Sound As A Magickal Tool
⢠Raising Power- Chanting or drumming raises a groupâs energy (in coven or circle work) before directing it toward a spellâs goal.
⢠Trance and Meditation- Monotone chanting or rhythmic music slows the brainwaves and opens the door to altered statesâcritical for astral projection, pathworking, or deep magick.
⢠Clearing and Consecration- A bell, tone, or clap of sound can banish negative entities or cleanse tools, rooms, or auras.
⢠Invocation and Evocation- Sound acts as a call or signalâvocal invocation draws spirits, gods, or forces; sound shapes the subtle energy that forms the bridge between realms.
⢠Creation of Sigils and Talismans- Whispering intent or chanting during the crafting of a sigil or talisman imbues it with lifeâturning symbol into spell.

Cultural Examples
⢠Vedic Hinduism: The universe is created through sound (Shabda)âOm being the primal sound.
⢠Kabbalah: Hebrew letters are said to carry vibrational power. Vocalizing them in rituals opens specific spiritual pathways.
⢠Druidry: Bardic traditions hold that song and poetry are magickal acts that can influence minds, nature, and spirit.
⢠Voodoo / Afro-Caribbean Traditions: Drumming and song are essential to call the Loa or Orishas.
Sound Magick In Practice (Examples)
⢠Chakra Alignment with Vocal Toning- Toning âLAM,â âVAM,â âRAM,â etc., to align each chakra during ritual.
⢠Bell & Candle Banishing- Ring a bell three times around a space while intoning a banishing phrase.
⢠Trance Drumming- 4â7 beats per second drum rhythm to induce a shamanic state and journey to the Lower or Upper World.
⢠Mantra Spellwork- Repeating a deityâs name or power word (e.g., âBrigid,â âAwen,â âLuxâ) while visualizing your intent.
Sound in magick is not just decorationâit is a primary force of will and manifestation. It bridges the seen and unseen, the body and spirit, intention and outcome. Whether through ancient chants, primal drumbeats, sacred names, or crafted harmonics, sound moves energy, and with it, the world.
