Practice sketches - 80s movies style!!

Continuing to practice with the aim of finishing off this cheapo sketchbook so I can crack open my nice, new one. 👀✨ Today I did some moments from some of my favorite 80s movies.

I am in love with some VERY niche movies, y'all. I wonder how many of these you guys have seen and can guess?

I found a new book while playing Skyrim called Boethiah's Proving. WHO WRITES THESE THINGS?! This is legitimately one of my favorite short stories I've read.

Anyways, it got my imagination SPARKING, so I created this piece. Just in my sketchbook with my mechanical pencil. 😂

I might have to do it again as a painting.

This little guy has safely swum across the Void to his new home (I made him as a gift so now that he's safely to his new home, I can share pictures of him). One of the whales from Dishonored - but cute and snuggly!

Kindergartener in my class: "You are a huge asphyxiation to me."

Me: *stops* "Wait. What?"

Kindergartener nodding sagely: "You asphyxiate me a lot."

It makes me so happy that when Ao3 asks for donations we blow them out of the water by nearly doubling their target goal within 48 hours of launching the donation campaign.
