(got diagnosed w autism yesterday who cheered) I think surrounding myself with exclusively autistic and trans people as an autistic trans person has made my life exponentially easier and I am ACUTELY glaringly aware of quite how socially inept, horrible at making friends and bad at functioning I am whenever I am around neurotypical cis people but I forget a lot of the time bcs I spend most of my time alone and occasionally see my autistic trans friends ... (however I feel very effected by my adhd all the time especially when I am alone like my adhd effects me whenever I want to do anything ever who booed)

1 cis comedian ever has done a funny trans joke and that was james acaster and it wasn't even a joke about trans people it was a joke about how transphobes behave because very thoughtful and factually correct satire about transphobes in much funnier than a joke that is like "my trans woman friend is called amanda,, but she is not a man!" (every non offensive trans joke by a cis person)

maybe i am just tired of cis people doing anything but whenever a cis person makes a non offensive or light hearted trans joke that isnt like "trans ppl suck and their identities aren't valid" as the whole base for the joke, trans people FILL the comments with "see THIS is how you make a funny trans joke"/"trans jokes CAN be funny sometimes"/"well done for making a non offensive trans joke" and its always like. a really shit or unfunny joke or a base level observation about trans people just told in a comedians voice and I KNOW ppl r just happy it isnt offensive but like... fuck cis ppl idk u do not have 2 praise them for doing the literal bare minimum...

i find the way the conversation around imane khelif is framed really weird like.. she is a biological woman she was literally born a woman, she grew up being told she wasnt allowed to box because she was a girl or that boxing was for boys, she didn't even find out she had XY chromosomes until 2023 (and btw if chromosomes testing was done on everyone so so many people who say "chromosomes = sex" would not have the standard chromosomes for their sex.... because chromosomes do not determine sex ..... people are assigned their sex as birth based on their genitals which is why plenty of intersex people don't find out they are intersex until they start puberty), she lives in a country where it is illegal to transition. there is no universe where she is a trans woman and everyone saying so looks stupid. Also obviously she is an incredibly good boxer she literally won a gold medal but she's not like. ridiculously better or particularly advantaged over people playing at the same level, she lost 9 fights to other boxers during the paris olympics alone.

She was defamed by notorious t*rfs and transphobes online, notably elon musk and jk rowling, two people incredibly famous for sitting on their piles of money and chatting shit about people with far more talent and skill than they will ever have in their lives and I hope imane khelif wins the lawsuit because this is an issue of racism, misogyny and transphobia

but people keep saying "she's a biological woman she doesn't deserve the hate and bullying" and like. obviously not. but 1000% a lot of the people supporting her would not support her if she WAS trans and will never give the same support and kindness to trans people being bullied and slandered as they would for cis people...

giving "only anti transphobia when it happens to people who don't deserve it (cis) rather that people who do (trans)" but like who gaf about trans woman in sport (ik who does obviously but... u r dumb)

there is a trend of ppl talking about how their cisman boyfriends and husbands and brothers and dads never ask follow up questions about important things going on in ppls lives so end up not knowing about drama or gossip and IDK like 5 years ago I woulda been so dysphoric that I have the clearly Woman Trait of being nosey as hell and asking 5 million followup questions and wanting to know every part of every drama and gossip but NOW idk if being Well Informed makes me a woman then so be it
