In the market trying to restock for my store, I started picking goods that I'm quite familiar with and that I know are hot 🔥 in the market. You know these goods are so expensive now so I was so careful with the ones I picked. I came across one that's I'm not familiar with and I said "I don't like this one" and the sales representative looked at me and asked "Is it for you or your customers?" And it took me seconds to responded back to her question "for my customers" I said and she replied, "you can't be so sure if your customers want it or not and is not about what you want or like. You know, that got me thinking and I remembered someone had told me that before. Don't go to market and just buy what you think 🤔 they would like because you may get it all wrong. 👉👉Know your market, what's trending, and ask them, it will help when you get to the market. I've made that huge mistake of thinking 💭 for my customers rather than asking them or making research about what they need. Doing this will help me meet their needs and increase my sales in no time. 👌The same applies to creating content for your page, 👉go to INSIGHT on your page and gather some information about the kind of followers you have and observe the kind of post they engage with most. 👉Keep trying different posts, 👉Ask them questions? 👉And Observe their reactions to every posts. Attracting your customers in your environment to buy from you can be tricky at times. I wouldn't say is GIVE 50% and TAKE 50% because you have to GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE. But to be logical there are (3) things I found out to be true and effective which you can use to attract them, especially when you are new to the environment or you're just starting a business in that area. I called these (3) things POWER OF ATTRACTION. For instance, if you just open your shop in my street, I would walk past you to buy from where I usually buy🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️. But every day I walked past you, I thought 🤔 of buying from you the next time. Still watching each time I passed. When this day finally arrived, and I met your shop closed. This will be very very disappointing! I may give you one more chance and still come next time🤗. But, if your price is a bit higher than the normal price I used to buy that stuff I may have to rethink🤔. And more importantly, your attitude towards me if is odd, I will write you off. Just one try is enough. To wrap it up.... these 3 things are: 1. Consistency: Are you always available??? 2. Price: Is your price higher or lower compared to others around you?? 3. Attitude: How do you address your customers? With a frowning 🙁 face or Smiling 😌 face or with a baritone voice 😏😝 Let me tell you a secret 🤐 I don't like to say NO to my customers but I charge them high when I try to work for them out of my tight schedule. That is my way of saying NO. So these things listed above matter a lot. The journey started like yesterday, Whenever I remember how it all started, I just laugh😄! Let me quickly introduce myself to you like I would A YEAR AGO😝. It was Sunday morning, (day-off for electricity in my area). It is on the matrix of 3x1(3days on, 1day off). I was busy other days and that I couldn't pump water into the tank. So this fateful Sunday morning, I remembered "today is light off" and the tank was empty. As soon as I remembered I got up. I was going to on the pump when I was told, it was late already, that the light will soon be taken. And I ask when exactly, it was said 8 am and the time was around 7:48 am. So I said, "I'm gonna take chance!" So I tried my luck, and it worked. The light was taken after some minutes I already filled up my tank. It may sounds somehow but it's same with life. Listening to too much of what's going on around us or what people are saying can got us discourage that we are so hasty to give up. But you know what? Checking on your competitors is not a bad idea, you can even follow them on social media to know what they have been doing to capture the heart of their customers. You don't peep because you want to copy rather you peep because you want to learn and then improve on what you've learnt. I like digital products the most because you can easily scale them. They can run on autopilot and don’t require large startup capital. Alright, so you want to start your own business, but maybe you have been struggling to figure out what you can actually sell to people. Let me give you a few examples, and hopefully, these ideas will point you in the right direction. So what can you sell online? Chances are, you already possess the knowledge you can share.
