The man I’ve been talking so much about is a great guy, but I’m starting to think he’s not ready to date. He burns hot and cold, and yesterday when I tried to confirm a time for us to meet, he stopped responding. He essentially ghosted me for 24-ish hours, then texted “sorry I didn’t reply” around noon today. That’s it. When I asked if he was okay, he said “nope.” There’s more, but we’d be here forever if I had to relay all of it. I’ve put a lot of effort into this and shown him a lot of grace, but I’m not going to keep pushing at someone who isn’t willing to do the same for me. If he wanted to he would, and it seems like he doesn’t after all.

I can't explain it, but Batman needs to be mythologized. In Gotham, that is.

Logically, they know he's just a man, made of skin and bones and blood, like all of them. Those who met him, who had the ill luck to, say he feels like the city itself.

When danger approaches, with the click of a gun or hiss of a knife, it’s not the police people pray to. There's a single name that rivals Gotham‘s, and it’s not them.

So much so, there's whispers of what might happen, about guidelines being stepped. Kinda like how if you're compared to Aphrodite, you might die.

Found a fantastic academic paper on game design which really gets to the heart of a lot of what I'm trying to say in the Haruspex video yet for the life of me I couldn't find anything recent from the author no matter how hard I searched until I found another paper written by a woman who had the exact same email address as the author but a very different name then I finally realized what had happened.
