Prompt 21 - Authentic
@jegulus-microfic September 21, Word count 129
Dorcas held it up to the light as she twirled it around in her fingers.
“Is it authentic?” She asked as the light bounced off it.
“Of course, it’s authentic! He’s James bloody Potter! Do you really think he’d give it to Reg if it wasn’t legit?” Barty scoffed.
“It is very pretty,” Pandora smiled dreamily as her eyes watched it rotating in Dorcas’s hold.
“The big question that you’re all forgetting is who’s going to be his best man?” Evan piped up from the corner, mischief in his eyes.
Regulus quickly reclaimed his engagement ring from Dorcas’s grasp, slipped it onto his left ring finger and darted out of the room before they could start hounding him. He did have a fiancé to get back to, after all.
