IDK if I'm explaining this right, but sometimes I have this problem where a certain companion doesn't really work with my OC. Maybe they just don't click, maybe they fundementally disagree on certain things, maybe it just doesn't make sense why my OC would let them join the party in the first place. If anyone else has had this problem, how do you deal with it in your headcanon? Just curious 🤷‍♀️

um!!!! so I know it's not perfect cause I tried super hard to make the shapes accurate and stuff but my brain has a limit yk....I'm not that smart ahsvsjsjd 😭 and I also definitely made some mistakes, there's stuff I'll edit further down the line, etc etc....but after basically three days straight of working and reworking and more reworking....I've got something im like. really happy with tbh 🥹💕💗✨ im in love with this design lowkey like guys I wish tfp Metalhawk was real and looked like this 😭‼️✨ yes I know about his mention in the Aligned Cont. lore in know he exists but im sure you know what I mean when im saying what im saying

Honestly I do not give out autistic headcanons lightly because it's very special and personal to me, but I was reading through TLJ and got caught up on this [Hux speaking]:

And I thought 'haha that's so silly that reminds me of this

And that led me to thinking about how much Hux fidgets with his hands, and then, y'know, the whole 'the world NEEDS to be predictable and ordered' thing and his unwavering conviction in all of it

And I was like

8. How do they feel about the opposite faction?

Valkerie's pretty ambivalent, actually! Her goals center around embarrassing her family and surpassing them, and since her family is composed of powerful Sith Lords, it's taking most of her focus and energy to deal with that. The Republic is only a means to an end, really.

Periflynn is definitely a fair bit opposed to the Empire, because he believes in being reasonable and helping people and focusing on the greater good, and the absolute CHAOS that is the Sith Empire goes against all of those. The Republic senate is bad enough - even worse when the lying and backstabbing and powerplays are done with force lightning and lightsabers.

Even though the Republic absolutely exasperates Periflynn, he sticks with it because it's the best bad option. That said, he's also so cynical and jaded at this point that he doesn't much care for ideals anymore and stays with the Republic primarily out of a sense of duty to the Jedi.

10. What is their specialization class? Was there a reason they picked that discipline?

Both are primarily force-based, not lightsaber-based. Periflynn is a Seer Sage IE he is the most pure Force-based, with an emphasis on healing. This is because, being an absolute TWIG, he is total garbage with a lightsaber. Periflynn actually tries very hard to stay OUT of combat, preferring to contribute with strategic advice or logistical coordination, but in a pinch, he has found the Force and a good blaster to be more than adequate. Even better if he can avoid it altogether by hiding behind more combat-adept companions.

As a Madness Sorcerer, Valkerie also favors the Force over lightsabers. She comes from a long line of prestigious Sith who compensate for limited Force ability with mastery of the dueling arts, but she somehow ended up with very strong Force-sensitivity herself. In fact, having real talent like that is a primary reason she is so threatening to her elders.

She also doesn't have much skill with a lightsaber, and this is because not learning to use a lightsaber was a deliberate choice to reject her family's traditions and values. When fighting she likes to get up close and personal with the lightning - often to her own peril. By the time she's a Lord herself, she's already got quite a few scars.

I think when Hux says "strength" he means destructive power. He would definitely consider the destruction of the Hosnian System a show of strength, in which case strength could be defined as physical, destructive power. Similarly, one of Hux's primary scenes in the TLJ novelization is when he shows up to destroy the resistance base with a showy and totally overkill way. Yes, Hux is not physically powerful himself, but most of the time he's able to make up for it with overwhelming military firepower.

The irony strikes me that Hux aspires to rule, but by this principle he isn't really ideal to rule because although he is very disciplined, he's not strong. Essentially, Kylo became Supreme Leader instead of Hux because Kylo was stronger than Hux (he physically overpowered Hux via Force-choking). The thing is, Kylo isn't an ideal ruler either by this principle, because although he's strong, he isn't disciplined at all.

Hmm basically this quote is excellent evidence that Hux ideologically supports power couple kylux (but we knew that already)

Hux in TLJ believes in the 'principle of rule through strength and discipline', but I wonder what his definition of 'strength' really is

hey spn peeps, I'm trying to figure out what flowers I think fit dean and sam. I did my castiel themed ish lavender and bees thing, bc I think that fits him. I wanna make art like that for Dean and sam too but I'm not sure what plants/flowers to do. any ideas?

i was thinking clover for one of them, maybe dean? maybe dandelions for one of them??
