"this is really good shea," you praised the boy.

the newest member of the hischier household was showing off his newly acquired cooking skills. it was also because nobody was in the mood to cook.

seamus had decided to join the devils after completing his four years at michigan. saira was now two years old and thrilled to have another 'brother' along with connor.

the little girl had started speaking occasionally, her first words being "con-con".

saira sat on your lap as you fed her some of seamus eggs, taking bites for yourself as well when a wave of nausea hit you. you passed your daughter to her father and ran to the nearest bathroom.

the boys could hear the sound of your retches and promptly pushed the eggs away from them. "hey I had nothing to do with that," he whined.

nico placed saira on the floor before following you to the bathroom. "schatz, are you okay?" he asked, peering his head around the door.

you flushed the toilet and washed your mouth before facing your fiance.

"do you think we can make an appointment with doctor michaels?” you whispered.

nico stared at you.

"dr michaels? your ob/gyn. why do you need to see your ob/gyn?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

it took a second for your words to click in his mind before nico was wrapping you up in his arms. nico bent down and kissed your lips.

"are you sure?" nico asked, gently pressing a hand to your stomach.

you shrugged. "i took two tests, one said negative and the other was positive. then when lindy was talking about dates I realised I missed my period, so I got to wondering if I was actually pregnant or not," you explained.

nico brought you in for another kiss. “whatever she says, we do this together” he promised.

you nodded and kissed him one more time before going out to your friends.

isla gave you a look asking if you were okay and you nodded. “do you guys think you can watch saira for a bit? neeks and i are going to the doctors for a quick check up,” you asked your friend.

“woah why can’t connor and i watch her?” seamus asked, just as he dropped a pan. the boy smiled sheepishly and turned away.

“is everything okay?” connor asked.

you nodded and squeezed his arm. “i’ve just not been feeling well so we’re going to see what’s wrong,” you told them before grabbing your things.

the group stayed in your home, looking after your children whilst you and nico headed to your appointment.

“well y/n, i’d like to say congratulations on your pregnancy,” dr michaels congratulated when she checked the ultrasound.

nico grabbed your hand and kissed your knuckles.

“if you see over here, this is baby number one and right there is baby number two,” she pointed towards your two babies.

“hold on did you just say baby number two?”

“twins?”

you and nico asked. dr michaels looked at the two of you and smiled.

“i’d say you’ve got a week of hockey left at best,” she advised.

you and nico looked to each other.

it wasn’t ideal that you were pregnant in the middle of the season but you and nico knew what you had to do.

“is everything okay?” connor asked as soon as you guys walked into your apartment. timo had saira laying on his chest as the two of them slept. isla and jack were looking at baby’s names for their little boy whilst luke was on the phone with his girlfriend.

nico handed him the ultrasound and smiled.

isla caught sight of it and squealed.

“no way!” she ran over to you and hugged you.

you nodded and hugged her, tears streaming down your face.

“we’re having twins,” nico announced.

What's a notfic?

So, this was really common in fandom like 10 years ago but it's less common now so I'm just including this quick explanation in case. Notfic/Not!Fic is the halfway point between an actual fic and a prompt. It mostly sort of has the tone of describing another fic to somebody, or working out an ongoing plot with a friend (e.g. Instead of writing out an entire set of dialogue, a notfic might just put "Jason and Tim discuss why they both want to fake their deaths").

You’ve been part of Captain Ratonhnhaké:ton’s crew upon the Aquila for just over half a year now. The crew picked you up when you were found stranded out at sea, clinging to the debris of what you claimed to have been the ship you had previously been a crewmember of, smashed to bits and sunk by pirates. You’ve been… odd to say the least. You dress unconventionally and your geographical knowledge beyond that of the ocean and coasts is terrible. 

But you’ve proven yourself to be an asset to the crew. There’s no one as quick-thinking and efficient as you when the weather takes a turn for the worse and you’re the most skilled harpooner and fisherwoman anyone on board has ever seen. Your backstory might be filled with holes and spotted with a few inconsistencies but you’ve proven yourself to be an asset to the crew in terms of navigation and keeping up food rations when the crew is between raiding ships all along the east coast. Your utility and friendly, curious nature have stopped anyone from speaking up against your suspiciously incomplete backstory and ignorance. 

Whenever there’s extra food or coin to be needed, there you are, throwing out nets and pulling them back on board as though you’d called the fish to you like a pack of loyal dogs. The crew could rest assured that they’d never starve so long as you had a net and they weren’t too fired of the same food day in and day out. 

Your utility often glosses over your curiosity but Ratonhnhaké:ton is a man who leaves no loose threads and no rock unturned. He walks a path with many enemies along its way and so he can leave no room for surprise. Time and time again has he tried to find out where you come from and each investigation of his has turned out fruitless. 

The more he came out empty handed, the more his suspicions of you grew. The only explanation for this could be that you had gone to the effort to hide your identity. But why? Were you running from something or were you an enemy hiding in plain sight? 

One late evening while the ship is docked in a port and the crew are out to enjoy their night with drinks and women, Connor decides to follow you. You have not joined the rest of the crew at the tavern and have instead opted to walk along the beach. Your trousers are rolled up your legs and you carry your boots and socks in one hand, the waves lapping against your ankles as you walk barefoot across the sand. 

The moon is waning and does not illuminate the land quite enough for the sort of walk that you’ve decided to take yourself on at this late hour. The stars twinkle above you and the silvery lights of the sky dance upon the crests of the waves as they crash in a foam upon the shore. 

Ratonhnhaké:ton has experience in tailing people without being seen and that’s what he does now, sticking to the foliage on the treeline of the beach, hiding amongst shadows as he follows your every step. His suspicions of you are only raised by the fact that you don’t pause to take in the scenery or the feeling of the waves lapping at your feet. You seem to be moving with purpose, with a destination. But where could you be going? One of the things that makes you stick out is how disconnected from the world you seem so who could you be meeting or where could you be heading that Connor doesn’t know about? It doesn’t make any sense and so he continues to follow you with conviction. 

You head towards the base of a rocky cliffside and Connor uses the surrounding rocks to hide from your line of sight, cursing mentally when he has to steadily set his boots into rock pools in order to avoid making any noise and alerting you of his presence. 

He watches as you push back a curtain of ivy to reveal a natural doorway behind and you disappear into it. Connor is now more suspicious than ever. What is this secret place? He waits only a minute and then follows you. He does not enter as you did but instead pushes the curtain of leaves aside just enough to peer inside. You’ve lit a torch that’s set up on a stand by a large natural pool in this cavern that opens up to the sea. You’re stripping off the last pieces of your clothes, neatly folding them up and setting them down upon a rock. 

Ratonhnhaké:ton feels his face flush with heat. Were you perhaps waiting for a secret lover of yours? His worries are dispelled by this thought for all of a moment. A lover could still be his enemy. 

But you instead step into the pool of water. Connor watches in curiosity as the place where you submerged yourself beneath the surface then bubbles up as though the water were boiling. It’s enough to make him finally enter the cavern and get a closer look. 

That’s when Connor sees a large fluke-like tail smack against the surface. It’s a silvery colour and it then vanishes beneath the bubbles as they dissipate. Only moments later, you resurface, a shiny object clutched in your hand. Connor watches as you clambour out of the water to place it down beside your folded clothes. It’s one of your rings, you must have dropped it while changing. 

But what really captures Connor’s attention is the thick cover of scales that descend from your waist. That fluke sways just beneath the surface, glittering in the faint torchlight and everything clicks into place. You’re one of those mermaids of legend. That’s why you know so little of the world, why your past is shrouded in mystery. The legends say that mermaids sing sailors to their deaths and yet you’ve been disguising yourself as one all this time. 

Ratonhnhaké:ton decides to keep your secret for now. His questions have been answered and yet now a whole new range of them have been unlocked.

Agathe is a girl boss, she looks small outside, but when she comes home, two rows of subordinates have to bow to her.

Like, the female boss of the gang, next to her is a red-haired bodyguard who likes to settle down, doesn't like getting into trouble (but he's good at shooting)

- Dylan (Wales) x Ivy (His Dragon)

Ivy is the dragon that sleeps on Dylan's shoulder. I have headcanon that the dragon can turn into a girl, she is Ivy. No one can see Ivy but Dylan, so Dylan is often seen as paranoid.

- About Scotland, I set up Scot as Asexual, single for life, whether Allistor (male ver) or Abigail (fem ver).

The reason is because Scot's mascot is unicorn, and unicorn is only close to virgins, who live a chaste life. So when I write fanfic, I will set Allistor simple-minded, not interested in love, inside with Peter Pan syndrome (Peter Pan is also a book from Scotland) but does not show that syndrome outside. It was because of his straight, unblemished mind that the unicorn became close to him. As for Abigail (Nyo!Scotland), I think she will be a virgin for life, regardless of marriage, and unicorns will often come and sleep in Abigail's lap without any defense 😉

The reason why the 4 brothers’ outfit is different: is due to the aspect of each person's job.
