if an angel or demon were to injure a Reaper with their body enough to spill blood, they wouldn't get any unique 'essence' because, well, Reapers are 'neither here nor there' when it comes to heaven or hell

it depends on the individual, but these essences can also have varying effects on humans and other supernatural creatures

an angel's blood light can heal OR it can blind the eyes

a demon's blood shade can protect OR it can burn flesh

most people, angels and demons included, prefer to fight with weapons as it offers more control of one's strength (and it looks cool)

Most of the time it’s because another person is flirting with you and you looked uncomfortable with the flirting.

He likes getting kisses on his forehead or cheek, especially after a long day at the police station. Leon likes to take his damn time in the morning and that’s why he’s always late to things. He’s faster on weekdays, but Leon takes extra long to get ready in the morning on weekends when you two don’t have any plans. He’s also pretty cuddly in the morning while he’s still groggy and half asleep.

Leon definitely has a whole skincare routine along with a hair routine he does every night before bed. He also uses those headband things while he does his skincare and then after does his hair routine. Leon also falls asleep super easily, he’d be out like a light in a second.

Leon was pretty awkward at the start like I said earlier. But as time went on he started to open up more about his feelings and for example his parents death. It probably takes about a month or two for him to start to open up to you since he probably has some trauma of someone betraying his trust before so he just wants to be extra careful.

-‘P’ is for PATIENCE (how patient are they with you?)

Leon is one of the most patient people ever. He will wait as long as you need for you to open up to him. You will never meet someone as patient as him.

-‘Q’ is for QUIZZES (how much do they remember about you?)

Leon actually has pretty good memory. He’s good with faces but bad with names. He also remembers a good amount of small details you tell him, he’s also super attentive when you talk.

-‘R’ is for REMEMBER (what’s their favourite moment in the relationship?)

One of his favourite memories is when you two had your first kiss. Cheesy, I know. But Leon finds the first kiss such a special thing and you two definitely had your first kiss in a romantic and cute atmosphere. He was such a smily mess after it. Another one of his favourite memories was in the start of your relationship where you two were talking on the phone at like 1am and he was just talking about his interests all excited and you listed and asked questions time to time which made him even happier and talkier.

Leon isn’t really protective over you in a jealous way, but he will be there to protect you if you ask him to. He knows how to fight since he is a police officer after all.

Leon definitely has your anniversaries up in his calendar and you two go on a date when you have your anniversary. He also always remembers your birthday and gets you something on Valentine’s Day. He really cares about this relationship and doesn’t wanna mess it up so he always makes sure to put a lot of effort into the relationship.

Leon has a tendency to forget to take care of himself when he’s busy or just overwhelmed. He forgets to eat and even shower sometimes, and just taking care of himself in general. It would be good if you reminded him every once in a while and make or get him some food to eat, even a tiny snack or a bottle of water would be greatly appreciated.

Leon isn’t actually really insecure, just awkward really. His favourite part of himself is his eyes, but he doesn’t really have a least favourite part about himself. All in all, he isn’t very insecure.

No and yes. It depends on how close you to are, and on why you aren’t around at the moment. If he or you are just at work, or don’t live together he’ll miss you but he doesn’t feel incomplete. But if you’re gone for a long time for a trip or something, he’ll start missing you a lot and Leon’s gonna send you a lot of text to check if you’re okay and stuff. But If you leave him for good or he leaves you. It really depends on how close you two were. If you had a close relationship or friendship, he’ll definitely miss you. But if you weren’t that close, he’d still miss you but he’d probably get over it at some point.

-‘X’ is for XTRA (extra headcanons about them)

Leon loves it when you play with his hair, but he doesn’t admit it straight up. He’d just subtly hint at loving it. He 100% uses lip balm, have you seen his lips in the game? Catholic Worldbuilding and the Wizarding World - Headcanons and More

If you've read All That Remains, my Regulus-Black centric work, you'll know I've incorporated Catholicism into my fics since then. The inspiration to incorporate Catholicism came from both @artemisia-black's Lacrimosa and Fiat justitia and her world building in D&D and Pietas, and @green-and-grey-kenaz's And he Drank.

Some caveats before I go on:

These are just headcanons of mine and things I've put into my fics. They work with the world but you don't need to accept them as canon or canon-compliant. Nor am I asking you to do so. I'm just excited to have this list put together of what I've done and the research that went into it.

There are other religions and faiths in the wizarding world. As Britain became more multicultural and diverse, it meant the purebloods and wizarding population did too.

This list is specifically for certain old-school Catholic families, particularly ones like the Blacks.

Catholic HCs and world building in my works:

Old-world pureblood families were Catholic. As the Roman Empire spread, witches and wizards from other areas hopped into Britain and converted Muggles and purebloods alike from paganism to Christianity. Wizarding world Jesus was a wizard; the Resurrection can still hold up as a miracle because no magic can reverse death.

When Hogwarts was founded in about 1000 AD, a chapel was installed inside the school. In my Regulus Black-centric work, I have the chapel and its tabernacle being a personal gift from Pope John XV to Salazar Slytherin in honor of the new school being built. 

Magical Catholic Mass isn’t terribly different from Muggle Catholic Mass. The key difference is that since purebloods/wizarding society tends to be more old-school than Muggles, purebloods never bothered to implement the vernacular changes of Vatican II. They still celebrate Mass in Latin. 

The Pope is always aware of magical Catholics, not unlike the Prime Minister knowing about wizards. There are wizarding bishops and cardinals buried in the catacombs in the Vatican.

Magical Catholics have their own dioceses; they’re bigger, geographically speaking, because there’s a much smaller wizarding population than the general population. 

Pureblood Squibs are sent to monasteries or convents. 

I’ve created several locations like St. Mungo’s to accommodate various parts of wizarding society. St. Mungo was a real Britonnic saint, so all these saints below are also Anglo-Saxon/British and I’ve incorporated them into my worldbuilding, particularly in my current longfic, Supernova. Again, these are all my creations - not actual canon. 

There is a privately-funded pureblood hospital called St. Teilo’s. It’s where purebloods go to avoid being treated by Muggleborn Healers or associating with Muggleborns in general. St. Teilo’s bio page.

I created a day school for pureblood girls called St. Leoba’s. In the context of my fic, Supernova, it’s where a lot of pureblood girls go to school before they go to Hogwarts, whose parents aren’t keen to educate them themselves. St. Leoba’s bio page. 

There is a long-term care home called St. Hugh’s Home for Hopeless Cases. It’s a poorly funded Ministry facility for wizards with long-term illnesses and inmates from Azkaban who have been Kissed. St. Hugh of Lincoln’s bio page.

Purebloods worship at St. Aelred’s Cathedral. St. Aelred of Rievaulx was a real monastic whose abbey is now in ruins in Northumbria. I weave that into my stories by having Muggles see the abbey in ruins, but purebloods can see a proper cathedral and that’s where they have Mass. St. Aelred’s bio page. 

St. Aelred also has an extensive graveyard, complete with private mausoleums for individual families. The Blacks have one of the grandest mausoleums. 

The stained glass windows and art in St. Aelred’s move like photographs and portraits. The crucifix appears to be ‘living’ with blood shining on Christ’s wounds. Purebloods think it’s neat.  

The Statute of Secrecy and the creation of the Church of England were tied together. The CoE was founded in the early 1500s. The Statute of Secrecy went into effect in the late 1600s. The rise in persecution against witches and wizards, particularly from Muggles associating Catholic practices with witchcraft in general, was one of the reasons why the Statute went into effect. As a result, this is one of the other reasons why purebloods are so resentful towards Muggles and Muggleborns, as most of them are Anglicans.

Most pureblood families aren’t necessarily devout. Cultural Christianity/Catholicism is fairly common, but even when it’s cultural, it’s still very much a way for purebloods to wield power, influence, and control. 

Like many Catholics, old-school purebloods really like their relics and/or more ‘gory’ mementos. You may be aware that Catholics venerate (not worship, not adore, more like honoring) relics of dead saints, such as fragments of bone, skin, blood, etc. Given the Black family’s cool collection of blood and other unusual items, it makes sense to me that pureblood Catholics are fully on board with collecting pieces of dead bodies and having their own reliquaries at home. 

The splitting of one’s soul is an act of violence against the sacred. I wrote a meta on Horcruxes and Soul-Splitting; I imagine that the most zealous purebloods would find horcruxes to be outright offensive, not because of the murders involved, but because of the disintegration of the soul. Your technoblade art over the years has been like watching the gradual de-pigification of Technoblade. Not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation.

Though I never really set out to draw him with pig features, the closest I ever got was either the skull mask or the tusks (it's kinda funny that both were some sort of bone structure and both I kinda abandoned in the end)

I think at the start, I went for something dramatic? Like I wanted my design to stand out, so I gave him a skull mask and black eyes and white pupils, and then I sort of just realized Hey this is great and all but also really hard to consistently draw LOL.

It Was a good character feature I will admit, with it being a whole symbol thing he wore around people he was not willing to be vulnerable with. I still really like the skull design, I kind of just grew out of it. Then I wanted to change up his design a bit, especially when I got interested in more burly/big builds. I watch warcraft Once and decided fuck it I'm giving him a beard. But with the beard and tusks, the skull mask became too distracting. Additionally, I had the headcanon that his long hair (a symbol of his skill as well as peacetime) gets cut during his execution. So now he sports this half do that falls down to his shoulders.

Eventually I figured out that the tusks wouldn't work unless I reconfigured his facial structure, which I didn't really want to do cause I had a structure in mind already so I just removed them haha. His crown came off during the retirement, and so did the parts that made him this bigger than life figure. All that's left is a man who owns a turtle farm and reads stories to his chat. I like that he looks like he's settled down, but still has the potential to cause a lot of damage. So so far, I think the progression of my c!techno design is neat :D

my theory here is that Barry has a weakened/dormant ESP ability. Let's go through my evidence, shall we?

Evidence No.1 — The nature of the interrogation sections.

Every Interrogation section unfolds as follows:

We have Barry collect the clues (although Tails gives his own insight, Barry is always the one to notice them.)

Tails mentions that he and Barry have formed a case/hypothesis, or Tails goes directly to make an accusation or argument.

(Barry themselves progressively wonders why they are added onto the accusation with Tails)

We have to select the exact correct clue/object from Barry's inventory to support Tails' argument.

We then go through the THINK minigame so that Barry can order their thoughts.

Tails explains his argument with Barry's proof flawlessly, although Barry often lags behind during this part.

"But this isn't proof of anything--"

SILENCE! TO THE DUNGEON WITH THIS FOOL!

I believe that these "game features" can be explained in-universe through some sort of telepathy.

"But, what is it there to explain? All of that seems normal to me?"

Barry is always the one to find clues and stuff—but we will go over this later. So, remember it.

And even though Barry is not often fully aware of what Tails is thinking, he always adds them to the accusation, it's always "we," and never "I."

(correct me if I'm wrong here but I don't think Tails ever excludes us once we have gathered enough clues)

And while yes, Tails is really friendly and Barry is basically playing to be the detective's assistant, maybe its because Tails notices something we don't

The game doesn't actually show Barry telling their thoughts to Tails, yet both Tails and them manage to form a flawless argument from some object or trash that was lying around.

SURE, MANY TIMES THEY HAVE DIALOGUE DURING THE INTERROGATION, RIGHT AFTER A MINIGAME, BUT NOT ALWAYS

He comments on them first to give the player insight on what we should be looking for, but Barry never really tells Tails directly what they're thinking on.

And their dialogues often evolves from a small argument being immediately supported by Tails with a stronger argument.

And look, Tails is a smart kid, we know this. But intelligence is tied to specifics. One cannot be intelligent on basically everything.

But even if, for the sake of the argument, Tails were to be smart at everything... he's still a kid. He's going to be prone to making mistakes, many times before him being a kid has overcome his high intelligence.

Now, going back to "all of this can be explained with telepathy": What if Barry has been giving information to Tails with this unknown power.

And Tails, being always surrounded by chaos users, doesn't point it out because, well, he's simply used to odd shenanigans when it comes to chaos powers.

Though the part of "Barry always finds the clues" feels less of telepathy and more of something else, but the theory isn't over!

After all, my hypothesis was that Barry had an ESP ability power, but I never specified which one. So let's continue.

Evidence No.2 — Barry is somehow aware of what they should be looking for, always.

Barry is the one to always inherently notice something relevant, even if Tails is the one to point out its importance, this is shown through the game outlining with green certain objects.

While Barry probably doesn't see this outline that helps the player, they probably do notice the objects over other things—but hey, maybe they do see it, but they... think it's normal.

They are the one to also find which specific clues or people can aid to Tails' argument, this is especially noticeable on the final interrogation, where Barry has their time to shine.

But that is not all, Barry is also somehow aware of "Chaos Control," and while it could be argued that they SHOULD be aware of it, because this technique has been used to save the world several times.

What they shouldn't be fully aware of, probably, is what the technique is specifically called, for all the public knew, chaos control was just another power of Shadow and Sonic.

But given that in-universe this surprises everyone, let's assume that Barry shouldn't know of it in general. And yet they still know of it.

And talking about supernatural awareness...

That time in which Barry pointed out Espio talked on italics? Sure, its treated as a joke but... what if it wasn't entirely one?

Evidence No.3 — Barry's physical actions during THINK minigames.

there's at least one (and two debatable one) occasions on which Barry performs a seemingly physical action during a THINK minigame.

First, when barry has to distract Knuckles so that Tails can fix the machine.

Knuckles seems to be going in for the kill, and prevent Tails and Barry from seeing the score of the arcade machine, Tails tells Barry to distract Knuckles while he fixes the machine.

But then we get a THINK minigame, instead of ... anything else, which is odd, Barry should be actively preventing knuckles from advancing, not thinking.

This implies barry was doing something while thinking, and while they could've tried to hold knuckles or something, we know by previous dialogue that Barry both is weak physically and that Knux wouldn't hesistate to hurt them!

The second time, which is highly debatable, is when Sonic is breaking the doors to advance.

Sonic mentions how he's gonna need a few hits to break through the doors, but instead of just seeing a small cinematic (like the one we're shown after the minigame)

We go through another THINK minigame, and after it, Sonic breaks the door with a single spin dash, it's odd that we see this.

Not much from a gameplay perspective, sure, but still overall strange in several levels, But personally, I choose to believe Barry is somehow unconsciously giving power to Sonic!

whether it is an ESP ability or just poeer of friendship is up to debate though...

The third time is during the boss fight against the Mirage Express itself.

Not only we do not get to really see how sonic and his friends are fighting the train, but what we do see... doesn't add up, especially so with the THINK minigame we have to play.

We see the flicky which should probably be inside the train, yet we see Amy hitting the train from the outside, and the minigame itself puts us in Sonic's place outside the train?

But like the previous point, what if this was explained thanks to Barry and what they could be doing. The last fight is a THINK minigame because Barry was helping.

Do you think after being inspired by Sonic himself, Barry would just stay there cowering?

Especially seeing, seemingly, everyone fighting along? Such a strong bond between the different friends of Sonic, from Vector to Tails.

He, without probably realizing, could've helped with some power, giving Sonic the information needed to hit the train.

Or perhaps even using some psychokinesis to attack too, we really don't see what's happening, and technically we only see Amy somehow delivering a hit to a train actively moving.

So anything goes, I suppose

this point is the weakest of the whole theory, but I think it still holds some weight, especially since no one seems to point anything up.

But I like to think that Barry did something, and based on previous time's they've done odd stuff... well, I just connected two dots.

Conclusion: Barry is a psychic chaos user, and they probably don't know.
