I literally can't stop thinking about the WoL and Themis.
The realization that this person you thought was a villain for years is just a sweet little guy before he's thoroughly corrupted by the biggest sacrifice he'll ever make and the fallout of it. That he looks up to you, and you're the kind of hero he aspires to be.
That he respects you so much that he asks for your thoughts on his warring internal identity, because he's unsure if he can be a person when so much duty is on his shoulders.
The guilt that he might have volunteered to be the heart of Zodiark because it's what he thought you might do
There's so much heartbreak throughout the last tier of Pandaemonium -- the way he's so excited to show off his battle skills for you, then so grateful to just spend a few more moments in your presence. The exchange of aether, that the WoL volunteers to give him aether without a second thought to give him form for just a little more stolen time. The pleading for you to hear him out because he has feelings to share in his last moments.
And then he has the absolute gall to tell you that it all had meaning because he got to meet you and get to know you.
And despite finally, finally remembering everything, he chooses not to stay.
Then he dissipates into nothing??? And he's gone.
Because they never stay. Hades and Hythlodaeus didn't. Why would Themis?
But there's still an open portal to Elpis. You can still go back in time and interact with the Unsundered world, daily if you want to, and you have close friends and allies now who live there. So why wouldn't you send a letter? Why wouldn't you wait until Themis shows up again, just to spend another moment of stolen time together?
I will never stop being heartbroken about this 💙

You know what? the best supernatural spin off would have nothing to do with the Winchesters and instead would be about Samuel motherfucking Colt because dude absolutely had something going on. And was tripping absolute balls all the fucking time
Dude not only builds a literal kills almost all gun (that no one knows how it works exactly), he also built a fucking devil’s gate and the series of railroad tracks that formed a giant devils trap in the middle of fucking nowhere Wyoming that was somehow also a great fucking hotspot to talk with Lucifer in the cage. Why the fuck would he build a devil’s gate and then the devil trap protecting it? Why could this dude not be normal? Not to mention He also fought a Phoenix!!! A Phoenix! The only Phoenix that has ever been reported to exist and whose ashes are the only thing that can kill the literal mother of all monsters. Which he somehow mails to Sam and Dean in the future using a phone from several years in the future that he literally just got earlier that afternoon.
Dude was on some serious shit. Man was definitely receiving the most violently random prophetic visions from god. Dude literally went, it came to me in a dream and built a weapon that’s literally still confounding people generations later and would function as a key to a fucking devils gate that would literally be the first step in so much shit going down in so little time generations later . Wouldn’t have even surprised me if they also said he was responsible for Ruby’s knife.
He also, most importantly, is from the wild wild fucking west!!! How cool would a show about that be? A fucking genius inventor hunts monsters in the Wild West while some being he knows nothing about but deeply suspects is giving him blueprints for big, wild things and weapons for how to stop them, or at least slow them down.

i keep thinking of asterion almost killing himself trying to bring back rakiel for years because he believes this is the only way he can atone for what he did to his child, this is the only way he can finally do his duty as a father and the only thing he can do for the son that he lost. for both of them.
and theo doesn't. really know how he's supposed to feel about it. if he should be glad their father is trying so hard to bring his brother back. if he should be bitter because it's too little too late. if he should try to stop him or not. if he's supposed to want to keep his father alive or to have his brother back more. if he should hold onto what little broken parts of his family there's left or latch onto the almost non-existent hope of having the part he cares the most about once more.
but there is a small part of him that wonders if there's something wrong with him. if there's something he's missing. if there's something about him that just makes him not worth staying for.
and he still doesn't really trust his father, he still hasn't quite forgiven him for everything he made them go through, he doesn't really quite know if he really wants or can be a family with the man when it was his brother that made them even resemble one in the first place but. he doesn't want to be alone either. he doesn't want to be left behind again.
it doesn't really matter though. his father has never listened to him when it comes to his petty little feelings about family. why would he start now.

for as much as i complain about s5-7 of smallville i will never be over lex’s murder-suicide plot that involved destroying the fortress of solitude with them both inside it while he cradles clark in his arms and tearfully tells him he loves him in a direct parallel to their meeting in the pilot
