A/N: This request is really new but bro code is actually frying my braincells as I'm tried to string together the plot sooo this is my rescue.

You were bickering with your friend, Felix as your professor entered the classroom.

"Settle down class." The teacher said. "I'm going to hand back your tests now."

You perked up at this.

"Best score." Felix nudged you and you hummed.

"The top score was a 97%," your teacher said, taking one last look through the tests. "Oh excuse me. 100%," She stared at the paper for. a moment and raised it, "Kim Seungmin."

Your mood crumbled. "Of course." You muttered.

The dark haired man smiled at you and walked down for his test. He took it and smiled as he went back to his seat. "#1 is really a pipe dream, huh, Y/n?"

You gripped your notebook tightly and exhaled slowly.

"L/N Y/N." Your teacher held out your paper and you grumbled as you went to collect it. Staring daggers at Seungmin you crushed your test into your bag as you sat.

Felix got called a moment later and came back to sit, beaming at a 79%, "As long as it's not a fail." He smiled.

You hummed softly. "You wanna go get food?"

He nodded and you got up to leave, as you packed your things, a lot more neatly than you had your test, Seungmin came up to you.

"It's an A right?" He shrugged. "Maybe next time."

You looked at him. "You really revel in seeing me anger, don't you?"

He raised a brow and fixed his glasses. "Yeah," he leaned in close, breath grazing your ear as he whispered, "I adore it."

You wanted to throw our bag at him but Felix dragged you away before you could do anything. You and him walked to the cafeteria, scanning around the food selections before deciding to eat off campus.

You were about to exit the cafeteria before someone squealed and you turned. Chris and his minions had entered the room. The men looked around before sitting at a table and one, a man with long dark hair, Hyunjin, looked at Felix then at you, then back at Felix before waving slightly.

Felix waved back and smiled. "Hyunjin is really so nice no? Come on I want chicken." He dragged you out of the cafeteria, you looked back just in time to see Hyunjin watching you. And you smiled.

You had finally found a seat in the library, sitting with your textbooks ready to study, you cringed a you realized you left your tumbler in your last class. You got up to get it and ran off to get it, but when you came back you sucked in a breath to see your things by the door of the library. You picked them up and went back to your seat lip pressing into a thin line at the sight of Kim Seungmin sitting in your seat typing away on his computer.

"Seungmin." You said.

He looked up, "Can I help you?"

"You moved my things. I was sitting here."

He smiled. "Those were yours?" He knew damn well they were... "Sorry, but there was no one sitting here."

"KIM SEUNGMIN-" You started before glaring at a book he had on the table, bookmark sticking out innocently. You grabbed the bookmark and threw it, making the man lose his page.

"Y/N!"He stood, fuming.

"Was that yours? I didn't realize." You took a sip from your tumbler and walked away. As you left the library you looked at your phone, and crashed into someone. You stumbled back, dropping your phone and literature textbook, a few of your papers cascading around the sidewalk. "Sorry." You muttered, going to pick up the things.

"It's fine." The guy said, kneeling to help you pick up your stuff.

"Thank you-" You looked up at Hyunjin as he handed you the stack of papers.

"No problem." He nodded, tilting his head. "You're Yongbokkie's friend?"

Your mouth opened then closed.

"I saw you earlier." Hyunjin clarified.

"Oh. Yeah! I'm Felix's friend." You took the papers and opened your textbook, tucking them carefully in between the cover and the first page.

"I'm Hyunjin..." He extended his hand out to you.

"Y/n.." You fumbled with the stuff you were carrying for a moment before shaking his hand.

He smiled slightly. "You need help?"

"Uh... Yeah." You laughed in defeat as he took the textbook from you.

"Where're you headed?" He asked, walking with you.

Seungmin bit his lip as he watched you walking to the cafeteria with Felix and Hyunjin. When did you entertain people like that? A guy who was a notorious player? A guy who made other men look away from you with one glare? A jerk like that? With you? Since when?

Seungmin thought nothing of it until he saw Hyunjin waiting outside of your class that afternoon. He tapped his pen against his desk, anger boiling as you came out of your class and Hyunjin put an arm around you, sweeping you away.

"Seungmin?" Jeongin tapped his friend's shoulder, before looking and seeing you and Hyunjin. "Just tell her."

"How?" Seungmin muttered.

"I don't know. But it looks like Hyunjin might actually be serious about her."

"Is Hyunjin serious about anyone?" Seungmin rolled his eyes. "I don't want him to mess around with her too."

"Then get to her first."

"HOW?!" Seungmin groaned.

"I don't know!"

Seungmin walked down the hall and sighed. "He's not good for her."

"She looks good right?" Hyunjin asked his friend, Chris.

"Very nice." The older man nodded, looking at the picture.

Changbin looked over his shoulder, "Isn't that the nerd?"

"She's fine though! Bin look." Hyunjin showed the shorter man another picture.

"You think she's better than the last one?" he asked Hyunjin.

"Of course," Hyunjin shrugged. "It's always the nerds."

"I bet 50 bucks I'll get her before you." Chan said, looking at Hyunjin.

"Not fair."

"Come on... You scared?" He challenged.

No... Hyunjin thought, I just don't want you fucking her over... "Nah. Bet 100."

"Greedy." Chan rolled his eyes. "You got it. At least introduce us. Level the playing field."

"Y/nnie." Hyunjin said, hands in your hair as you sat between his legs on the floor, munching on your chips while watching something on the TV.

"Huh?" You looked up at him.

"You should meet my friends." He smiled.

"Why so suddenly?" You popped a chip into your mouth.

Hyunjin turned your head to the TV, "Don't do that with your head back, you could choke. But I just feel like you'd fit in with them, y'know?"

You made a face and actually almost choked.

"Woah, woah-" Hyunjin handed you your drink.

After a few gulps you looked at him. "Me? The schools nerd girl? Fit in with you jocks?"

"Uh- Well-"

You turned and looked at him, raising a brow.

"That's not the only thing they say about you.."

Your eyes widened. "HUH!?"

"Nothing! Never mind. I just think you'd like to meet my friends though." He turned away, ears red.

You hummed. "Okay. I'll see."

"Yes!" Hyunjin did a small jig before smiling at you.

You rolled your eyes. "When do you think I can meet them?"

"Well there's this party..."

"It's only right that the best guys in school," Jiwon said, twirling her hair around her finger.

"Yeah." Minsi added, smiling at Seungmin and Jeongin.

Jeongin looked at Seungmin before whispering, "We're the best guy on campus?"

"Not just you two." Jiwon sighed. "Changbin and Hyunjin are going to be there too. And Chris!" She and her friend squealed.

"Hyunjin's going." Seungmin hissed to Jeongin.

"Y/N might go too!" Jeongin hissed back.

"When's the party?" Seungmin smiled.

"Friday night. Fraternity house."

Seungmin hummed. "I'll be there."

"Yeah." Jeongin nodded, "We'll be there."

"Awesome!" Jiwon and Minsi clapped their hands before going off somewhere.

Seungmin saw you in the hall a while later and cornered you when Felix went to class.

"Y/n." he called.

You looked back and made a face. "Seungmin."

He pursed his lips. Tell her.. "Can you not look at me like you despise me?"

"But I do." You pouted slightly and rolled your eyes.

"You know I see why Hyunjin would go for you. Your ego is just as big as his and I really hope when he's just messing wwith you, you stop your power trip." He snapped before he could stop himself.

"Go fuck yourself Seungmin." You started walking away, something about him saying that tearing your insides apart.

PANIC! He thought, Save it! "Y/n!"

You looked at him.

"He's going to hurt you..." Seungmin said quietly.

"I'll trust him until he does." And you left him standing there..

You were sitting on the couch in Hyunjin's apartment, staring blankly at his TV.

"Something on your mind, pretty?" He asked, sitting next to you.

"Not really.." You muttered.

"Y/n.." He faked a crying face. "Did I do something??"

"No-" You started, "Well yes-"

His brows furrowed. "What?"

"Are you messing with me?" You asked bluntly.

"Why are you asking so suddenly?" His eyes narrowed.

"Well some dick sad something..." You sighed.

"Who?" He asked, sitting up straight now.

"It's not importan-"

"Who?" He pressed.

"Kim Seungmin." You relented.

He looked at you for a long moment. "Don't believe him... Why would I ever hurt you y/n.."

You smiled at him slightly.

He hugged you and smiled. "I'm not messing with you..." I like you too much...

Seungmin was studying in the library when he heard the library volunteer girl shriek.

He looked up and was met with the dark gaze of Hwang Hyunjin.

"Can I help you?" He asked.

"What are you telling Y/n?" Hyunjin stared at Seungmin.

"It wasn't a lie." Seungmin shrugged.

"Kim Seungmin." Hyunjin slammed his hand on the desk and glared at him.

"Hyunjin." Seungmin stared up at him.

The people were gathering now, looking around the shelves at the men.

"Stay away from Y/n." Hyunjin said lowly.

"But I saw her first so-"

"You think Y/n is just something you can see first-"

"You think Y/n is something you can just fuck and drop. Hwang Hyunjin. Steer clear of her?" Seungmin snapped back, standing. "Or I don't think you'll like me."

"Are you threatening me?" Hyunjin moved to grab Seungmin's collar.

"What do you think?"

Hyunjin was about to punch him when hi phone rang. He paused and took it out before smiling at Seungmin. "Guess who's calling." He turned away and pushed past the people who had been watching while he answered the phone. "Hey Y/nnie."

Seungmin felt his stomach twist.

When Seungmin and Jeongin got to the party, the latter was almost immediately dragged away by his friend Beomgyu, leaving Seungmin alone in the party.

It was that same solidarity that led him to Lee Minho, who according to Jiwon who Seungmin had met earlier was "10000% boyfriend material". Seungmin couldn't deny the man was fun to be around though, Minho introduced him to a living firecracker, Jisung, who was apparently very close friends with your "friend", Hyunjin.

After a few drinks, Seungmin felt his head going fuzzy but he only shrugged it off laughing. While watching Jeongin chugging his 9th red bull on a girl, Sumin's, request.

"We're going to play Seven Minutes in Heaven." Jisung said, following Minho to the basement, "Gonna join?"

"Sure." Seungmin said before realizing what he'd agreed to. It's the liquor talking...

Seungmin and Jeongin followed Minho and Jisung down the steps into the small space under the house where a few people had gathered to participate in the game.

He sat down on the floor, next to Jisung and Jeongin as everyone settled. Then he saw you, giggling with another guy, not Hyunjin but-

"Chris. That bottle empty?" A man with freckles and long bleach blonde hair pointed to the wine bottle behind the man you were with.

"It's glass, like hell I'm going to trust you with it., Yongbokkie." Chris rolled his eyes and tossed the blonde man a plastic two liter soda bottle.

He caught it and sat it in the middle of the circle as you and Chris sat, closing the circle. Hyunjin bite his lip, staring at you and Chris like he wanted to fight the man.

"Okay, you all know the rules." Felix said. "Changbin who should start?"

"Not it." a short, muscular man poked his nose.

"Not it." Felix followed.

Seungmin's brain took a moment to process what had happened but by the time his finger touched his nose everyone else had already made it to safety.

"You good sir," Felix said in very sophisticated accent. "Start the game." He handed Seungmin the bottle.

Hyunjin's eyes met his as he spun the bottle.

It turned once.. twice.. three times before slowing to a halt.. pointing right at you.

Seungmin looked at you.

"INTO THE CLOSET!" Jisung shouted.

"Come on let's go!" Changbin opened the door to the small closet.

Hyunjin gave Seungmin the scariest look he'd ever seen as Jeongin pulled him into the closet and Jisung grabbed you from Chan.

"Jeongin-" Seungmin started before his friend whisper-shouted.

"This is your chance." and shoved him in.

You followed and both men gave you thumbs up before closing the closet door.

"I-" Seungmin started.

"Save it." You cut him off.

He remained silent for a moment. "You know they're no good for you..."

"Uh huh, but they're nice, they accept me-"

"Y/n they look like they want to eat you. Like your prey or something." Seungmin sighed.

"Why does that matter to you?!" You snapped a bit loudly.

Seungmin opened his mouth then closed it.

"Don't waste my time Kim Seungmin." You leaned against the closet wall.

"You're right." He muttered, maybe the alcohol really had gone to his brain, he walked closer, and leaned into you, "I shouldn't waste your time..."

You stared up at him with wide eyes. "Seungmin-"

He leaned closer, caging you between the wall and his chest. "It matters to me because how could you let them ruin you..." He reached out a tentative hand and caressed your cheek. "So perfect. So smart and pretty. I can't just sit back and watch you lose that... that perfection..." He leaned in so close you could feel his breathe on your lips. "It's mine to ruin.."

You stared into Seungmin's eyes for a long moment.

"If you want."

You kissed his hard.

He stumbled slightly before catching up with the moment and leaning into your lips, pressing his tongue past your lips and into your mouth, groaning at the taste of you. He pressed you against the wall and you let out a small mewl that he swallowed and returned in a soft moan.

You pulled back for air and he stared into your eyes. "If there's any other way to say it. I like you, I love you, I'm infatuated with you, Y/n. I always have been."

"You.." You blinked in shock for a moment.

He kissed you again and his hand moved to your hips, lifting you up to grind on his knee, as he pressed it into your core, eliciting quiet cries from you, he smirked and silenced you with his lips.

Your hands moved to his shoulders and your fingers ran through his hair as your tongue fought his for a moment. His easily batting yours down before tasting inside your mouth. You moaned into the kiss as he pulled you up to thigh and you bucked into it.

"You want me to fuck you?" he muttered against our lips. "Want me to ruin you? Not Hyujin, me right?"

You nodded and whined.

Seungmin's lips broke away from yours before kissing and biting at your neck. You held onto him tightly and bucked your hips into him.

He pulled away panting. "Shit." He lowered you and fixed your hair.

Just as Felix opened the door, "Times up lovebirds-"

Seungmin grabbed your hand and dragged you out so fast you couldn't even protest.

Hyunjin stood in you way. "Y/n we need to talk-"

Seungmin stared at him. "Y/n doesn't need to say anything to you."

"Hyunjin-" You started but Seungmin squeezed your hand pleading before pulling you past Hyunjin.

"I can feel you staring.." you muttered.

"Can you?" he asked quietly, brushing hair from your face.

"You do it so often of course I can." You opened your eyes and they locked on his.

I know I know ... I'm a bit late :D as usually but fore sure Shetland Harbour is coming in a few days :) In fact, the world is done and we are just testing it on both Mac and Pc. And making a good starting save game for everyone ...

About the "famous" directX11 Sims4 update, we investigate but everything we read about is quite simple : it's affecting everything graphic related, including thumbnails and so on. So, yes, some of you should get graphic problems since our K-Mods are all about graphic. So, the ones who get problems should doing some tests with our K-Mods and send us what's working and what is not with as much details as possible.

What if jon and damian got lost in space just like jon did

But they weren't captured or anythign they're literally just lost at space with no way back. They were just thrown into some dimension

At first Jon was alright but then he started to panic after a few days. Damian too, is anxiety by the situation

No one knows they were missing

Well maybe they knew but they just couldn't find them. Even the space cops couldn't. They were just yeha gone for a period of time. Maybe somrthing like the age up jon idk but i prefer it was technically like 1 year to 4 years ratio rather than 1 month to 6 years ratio 💀

So fast foward into the future its just them in a ship in a guardian of the galaxy kinda adventure trying to find themselves back to their planet.

Damian is just peter-quilling, playing musics to calm himself down, got some weird ass pets and cool alien gadgets he tinkers around and use on his fights. He's on edge 100% of the time because of what could happen to them, follows a schedule so that he doesn't slacks of but he's getting tired.

Then Jon is just there, agitated and overstimulated by the entire thing but he tries to cheer himself up. Always smiles and everything but internally its not okay. His eyes are just as wide as a traumatized soldier. He's a lot more controlling in a way becuase he doesn't wanna lose anyone but he never lost his kindness and hope for others.

Damian probably uses a laser gun but he found a lightsaber on the way so now he's just using that one lol. He hoards a lot of weapon, big and small, that could probably blow up a planet. Jon just bashes things up, i mean he's a kryptonian he can fly unlike Dame who needs a lot of equipment sadly. Their suits are also cyberpunk-ish, different parts and upgrades here and there. Damian still wears a robin symbol on the front and there is this bat symbol on his back across his shoulders. Jon also wears the house of El symbol on the front like his dad did. The suits lean on the more pratical ssid so its a bit dull.

Him and Damian ironically ends up saving planets and stuff. Both are definitely homesick but they always find stuff to cheers each other up. Going into places malls and everything. Fight space crimes errg. Just chilling together in the spaceship, comforting themselves. Entertaining themselves by dancing to music, solving crimes, or figure out different games and study on cultures of a planet together.

And then they get back to their world as a grown ass man (no theyre probably like 18 21) and they definitely look like different person, even their combat styles are different but they still do have their main qualities.

I’m all for delusion and shipping characters that don’t canonically end up together BUT… I will never get behind Zutara.

Maybe it’s because I don’t take colonization and eithnic clensing lightly, or maybe it’s because I disagree with the “Katara is like Aang’s mom” statement. Either way they should not be end game. People often bring up how Zuko helped Katara release a lot of pent up emotions concerning her mother’s death and who killed her, but the Fire Nation (his people) were responsible for that death. And up until that specific arc Zuko was upholding the beliefs of those people.

“Zuko doesn’t need Katara to be his mother like Aang and the rest of the group do, they’re on equal footing.” Except Aang and the rest of the group don’t need Katara to be mother either. People just view Katara as a maternal character because of her personality and that’s the only role they’ll acknowledge her having in the group. Katara’s mother showed her a love so deep and protective that she died so Katara could live, so of course the trauma of losing her mother in that way at such a young age would cause her to take on the role her mother had. Whether it be because of obligation, or simply because that’s all she knew.

Aang and the other characters have also experienced a lot of trauma, but Aang was raised by monks. He doesn’t need a mother figure because he’s never experienced gender roles in the way the other characters have. His idea of a family is being shaped as the show progresses because aside form Monk Gyatso, they are the first family he’s had. He’s curious, fun-loving and light hearted because that’s how Monk Gyatso raised him to be, not because he’s an irresponsible little 12 yr old without a mother. His people were eradicated, so Katara doesn’t raise Aang she guides him through grieving the loss of his people. A loss she knows all too well.

Toph is blind and her family is overly protective. They don’t give her the space or freedom to be her own person or earth bend. Another experience that Katara knows all too well. Her grandmother never let her leave the southern water tribe or water bend so she gives Toph the same thing she gives Aang. Sokka is Katara’s brother… he also experienced the loss of their mother except Sokka is a boy. He’s been made painfully aware of gender roles because he watched their father leave to fight in the war instead of staying to help him and Katara. He decided he needed to be more like his Father instead of his mother. So all the responsibility of taking care of the both of them fell on Katara.

Katara and Zuko are not on “equal footing” before he leaves the Fire Nation. He’s a prince from the Nation that has been inflicting pain on her family, her people and the world for 100 years…(he literally calls my good sis “water tribe peasant” meaning at some point he believed she was inferior because he had royal blood.) He has changed now of course and I love both Zuko and Katara, but them being end game makes no sense to me.

Aang and Katara to me are like 2 halves that make a whole. I’ve believed they were soulmates since the moment she broke him out of that Iceberg. She felt a higher calling, not only to be a water bender fighting for her people, but also to be apart of something bigger than herself and have the freedom to do so. It is not a coincidence that in the moment where she feels her biggest emotions and showcase her strongest bending at that time in her life, she broke THE Avatar out of an iceberg he had been in for 100 years. It was FATE. Katara helps Aang grieve, gives him a family, teaches him water bending and teaches him that the world may be counting on him, but the amount of death and pain he sees is not his fault. Aang helps Katara finally step into her full potential, he gives her the things she’s been longing for… freedom, fun, a chance to master water bending and put an end to the war. Some of Aang’s own words were “Why would i choose cosmic energy over Katara?” He had an opportunity to master the avatar state land directly in his lap, but instead he chose her.

Also I think personality wise Zuko and Katara are too much alike for my liking. They’re both sassy as hell, sarcastic, stubborn momma’s babies, who resent their fathers a lil and went through hell for a couple years because of their siblings (+ losing their moms.) In some ways they ARE opposites (especially their bending & colors,) and i agree they have character development arcs that fit together like puzzle pieces…BUT they are more alike than they are opposite. I don’t have a problem with people who just like to see them together but pls stop with the justifications bc no.

I know we've been commenting since The Star Beast on the irony of Russell T. Davies taking Disney money and using it to say trans/gay rights as part of one of the biggest British television events of 2023/2024, but I think Dot and Bubble fully opened my eyes to something I've been quietly contemplating since at least the time of The Giggle.

I am genuinely convinced, knowing everything I know about Davies' comments on the state of the BBC and the kinds of art he's been making of late, that Series 14 is a brilliant and purposeful piece of artistic subversion that has taken Disney's money to not just say trans rights, but to actively comment upon the cold, empty yawning abyss that is modern MCU franchisecrafting.

Time and time again, the show has returned to the idea that that sort of "artistry" is completely anathema in a cosmic horror sense to the very fabric of Doctor Who. The Toymaker is an arbiter of rules and continuity, who threatens to turn Doctor Who into a knock-off of The Avengers before everything collapses back into a game of catch with the Doctor in his underwear.

73 Yards is quite explicitly about the loneliness, emptiness and futility that accompanies human beings trying to impose rational, ordered frameworks and narratives on a fundamentally chaotic and strange universe. The very fact that the episode exists in a media ecosystem where hackish YouTubers will be falling over themselves to make "Ending Explained" videos for it *is part of the point*.

And then we have Dot and Bubble, where the modern glut of franchisal/social media (and the two are often close to interchangeable, as proven by this very blog post) is explicitly shown to have an anaesthetising effect that insulates people from real-world suffering. But it's more than that, because that same anaesthesia ties into expressions of actual, direct racism that are so baked into the foundations of that media and who it tends to uplift (white, conventionally attractive and implicitly straight people) that they become indistinguishable from said suffering.

After years of Doctor Who trying its hand at being a generic MCU-esque property and fans creating mockups of Phase-esque release timelines with a million spin-offs focusing on the Wacky Adventures of Miss Evangelista or whatever other bullshit fandom constantly clamours for, here is an era that puts its foot down and says "Actually, the foundational elements of that brand of media consumption are materially connected to the constant racist or sexist backlash you see against the casting of Ncuti Gatwa or Jodie Whittaker or Kelly Marie Tran."

And it is absolutely, positively, 100% correct.

How, then, does Doctor Who resist the creeping power of this monolithic cultural entity? In a world where studios seriously try to argue for the artistic worth of tripe like Morbius or Madame Web or Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, what is the appropriate response?

The same response that it's always had, the thing that it's been doing for sixty years. Getting people to learn how to run down corridors from hokey aliens, hoping against hope that those people don't turn out to be massive fucking racists and telling them exactly where they can shove it if they are, and instilling the children of the world with a healthy dose of fear and light-hearted humour.

SLAYER

SLAYER IS HERE AND HES AMAZING

a few quick notes:

-c.s>f.s>c.s>f.s is still a thing! the timing feels a bit different from xrd, but its there! no 5K link, though, just use 5H. (EDIT: 5K does link I just suck ass)

-if you can land 6H, you can land P Pile. you can confirm 6H from any hit c.s, air hit 5K, or most of the counter moves such as It's Late, 5H, or Master's Hammer.

-Super Mappa Hunch is a FULL SCREEN WHIFF PUNISH. It is preposterously fast, as well, but you can block it after the super freeze.

-CH Mappa still links into 5K, but ONLY K Mappa. P Mappa gives you nothing on counter hit. CH Mappa > 5K/c.s > 6H > P Pile is quite good, with a lot of corner carry and easy wallstick if you're close enough. use c.s if you're in the corner.

-Pilebunker only wallsticks on normal hit at close range (unless you've done enough damage to the wall, presumably), but counter hit pilebunker will stick from seemingly anywhere so long as your opponent touches the wall (i think? i havent actually tested it but from what i saw doing the arcade mode...)

-Bloodsucking Universe increases the damage Slayer's specials do (for example, Pilebunker goes from 80 to 100 dmg.)

-Slayer gets basically nothing on any Dandy Step followup normal hit without meter, they just result in a soft knockdown so you can reset pressure.

-if you manage to get a Chipp to 100 RISC, while you have 100 meter, and then land a CH Mappa, you can do this combo. It feels weirdly difficult? Last Horizon is not cancelled into here, just linked into, but it feels kinda tight. other than that its very practical, this will be an important bnb.

-He is INSANELY SLOW. His dash is not jump-cancellable and doesnt move him very far, which makes sense given his close range damage.

-Hand Of Doom is pretty whatever, i dont think its invincible the whole way through but i havent really experimented with it much yet.

-Last Horizon hits like 6 times but all of the hits are counted as one, so it scales decently, but be careful using it as it does not break the wall.

all in all hes super super fun and i cant wait to play him against actual people

Edit as I've had some time on Floor 10 with him:

-i don't know if I'm just using it wrong, but Hand of Doom kinda sucks? I think it is invincible but it's quite hard to land (I'm not used to backdashing on wakeup in this game though so it might just take some time to get used to)

-Super Mappa Hunch does NOT suck it's a really good move. Great whiff punish, great fireball punish, though very unsafe on block obviously. It also has a clean hit for some reason? And its, like, slightly longer than round start range? Very strange

-his pressure is pretty similar to Sol's where he just kinda has to fish for counterhits using his normals, and if he uses a special move other than Master's Hammer, you can take your turn back (probably)

-Speaking of Masters Hammer: plus TWENTY FUCKING SIX??? REALLY? I get that it's like 43 frames of startup but Jesus Christ. I'd be fine with it if the hitbox wasn't so obnoxious but it seems to be the size of a small car

-I genuinely cannot understate how horrible his movement is. It is genuinely garbage. Mappa Hunch can help you get in, but JESUS he's slow. He feels kinda like Pot now, actually, given that he has to get in to apply really good pressure

-Bloodsucking Universe is maybe active for a weirdly long time? I've seen the whiff come out and then the grab lands, but that could just be rollback shenanigans

-I miss Crosswise Heel. It was a good answer to jumping over Dandy Step but now you can just jump over Dandy Step. Yes I know it needs weaknesses Slayer is super super powerful but shhhhhhh

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

— he's not the most affectionate person in the world, but on the very rare occasions that he decides to show you his love, it's intense, maybe even suffocating. you'll be glued to his side for however long it takes until he gets bored, his fingers digging into your skin to the point where it might bruise, his head buried in your shoulder as he keeps you pressed tightly against him. lucky for you, most of these sudden bursts of affection last for only thirty minutes to an hour, but on his bad days, they can last well over a handful of hours.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

— he's willing to get as messy as he needs to be. blood and gore are nothing new to him, and he actively thrives under those sorts of situations. if we're being completely honest, he wants it to be messy. he wants there to be blood and murder. he'd take his time murdering whoever he had to if it meant getting you.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

— oh, he'll 100% be mocking you if you're a screaming, crying mess. really, if you expect him to be nice to you after uprooting your life and forcing himself into it, you're sorely mistaken. he thinks your fear is amusing, even if he thinks the screaming and crying is annoying. besides, he finds it entertaining, watching how you get torn between cowering in fear and cursing him out whenever he does mock you. that aside, he actually does his best to take care of you. he keeps you fed and supplies you with whatever you need.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

— he'd force affection on you if it's something he wants at the moment, which mostly just consists of him hugging you tightly and sitting in silence, but other than that he sorta just... lurks around and leaves you alone more often than not.

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

— he'd never be vulnerable around you. or at least, he'll try. though he tends to forget about this from time to time, jeff is nothing but a human. he has so many walls up, a gruesome reputation he loves to uphold, but there are days. everyone has bad days. he doesn't have them often, but he has them. and as much as he hates it, he can't hide that from you. he can't hide the stupid fucking longing he feels for you, or the damn near suffocating desperation that claws at his insides whenever he looks at you. he hates that he loves you, and loves that he can't hate you.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

— he fuckin' hates it, honestly. he thinks your resistance is annoying, and he'd just wish you'd give up already. no matter how hard you fight back, he's never letting you go. you belong to him, can't you see that? how many times is he going to have to restrain you for you to understand that you are his? surely you know that each time you fight back, he'll only make things worse for you, right?

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

— i think in the beginning, it sort of felt like a game. he found your fear entertaining, and he still does, so he thought your escape attempts were cute and couldn't help but mock you when he'd catch you trying to escape when you thought he had gone out. after a while, it feels less like a game. he's serious about you, even if it doesn't seem like it. your escape attempts were becoming more annoying than amusing. so much so that he doesn't even mock you when he catches you anymore, his mockery has turned into barely concealed anger.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

— the murder. you can handle the captivity, you're not going to let him break you. but the murder. the murder, that's what gets to you. he views it as an act of romance, mercilessly and brutally slaughtering anyone who ever dared to talk to you. you've had one too many 'gifts' of his be pieces of the people he's murdered for you. ears, fingers, you name it. the worst one has to be the decapitated head someone you had been romantically interested in.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

— seeing as he's more than likely on the fbi's most wanted list at this point, he's never really had any dreams for the future. he lives in the now, and the only thing he wants (and, let's be honest, expects) from you is your love and loyalty. sure, the thought of having a normal life with you is appealing, but it'll never happen. he'll take whatever future with you he can get.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

— even though he keeps you confined, unable to interact with anyone other than him, he certainly gets jealous. but only before he took you for himself. he hated seeing people near you, and he especially hated when you'd go out on dates with people. sure, you didn't know you were being stalked by a feared serial killer at the time of those dates, but still. it made him so unbearably angry and the only thing that helped him cope was by, obviously, brutally murdering the people you went out with. a very healthy coping mechanism, if you ask him. better he kill someone else than you, right?

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

— generally the way he acts around everyone else, pretty much, with the exception of his older brother. he's an asshole, and not an easy guy to like. he's morbid, cruel, and overall a total displeasure to be around. especially if he doesn't care about you. but he does! he cares about you a lot, so he's like... vaguely nice. he does have a soft spot for you, even if it's not something you might be immediately aware of.

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

— his idea of courting is just... not killing you. and murdering for you, i suppose. there's nothing more romantic than being willing to spill blood for the person you love. stalking probably counts too, right? because he did a lot of that. he probably also considers the 'gifts' he's given you to classify as courting, though you'd beg to differ.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

— not at all.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

— it honestly depends on how upset he is. like... 95% of the time, he just locks you in your room and deprives you of any form of social contact. he'll feed you, but you're never awake when he drops off the food. you'll never be able to catch a glimpse of him when he's punishing you like this. this could go on for months, because he doesn't stop until you're begging him to, desperate for some form of interaction even if it has to be from him. that small 5% is what you have to be worried about. if you really anger him with an escape attempt or whatever, he'll force you to murder someone, and he'll make sure it's someone you know. he's only forced this punishment on you maybe two times, and you don't think you'll ever be able to recover from it. the isolation is awful, but it's easier to bear. murdering your best friend, or someone from your family? you can't. you can't handle that. and that's why he's made it a punishment.

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

— anything you have, he'll take. your freedom is no longer your own. you're not even allowed out of the room he keeps you in without his permission because of how often you try to escape. he simply just doesn't trust you enough to let you be your own person. though if you're behaving well, he'll probably reward you with some very minute freedoms.

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

— he's actually surprisingly very patient when it comes to you. it's not something you'd expect, considering his short temper and whatnot. he has nothing but time when it comes to you, though he would prefer if you'd love him back sooner rather than later. but he's willing to wait, if he must. he thinks you should be flattered because if you were anyone else, he would've run out of patience a long time ago.

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

— the only way he'd ever let you go is if you died, genuinely. if you somehow manage to escape, he's hunting you down and dragging you back. but if you died, i think he'd be able to move on. it'll take time, and you'll always linger in the back of his mind, but he'll return to the way his life was before you were in it with relative ease.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

— not at all. jeff doesn't regret anything he's done in his life leading up to this point. there might be a small, very miniscule part of him that feels a little guilty whenever you flinch when he touches you, but he doesn't really pay attention to that guilt. and he would certainly never let you go, not after he went through all the trouble of getting you here. your rightful place is by his side, even if that's something you've yet to realize.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

— he's not too sure himself, though he assumes it was curiosity. maybe you did something, or maybe the way you behaved caught his interest and made him curious about you. whatever it was, it spiraled rather quickly.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

— he's used to seeing people scream and cry, so it doesn't get that big of a reaction out of him, though it does feel strange when you do it. he's gonna mock you for it though, so. as for isolation... if you want him to leave you alone so badly, then he'll gladly do it. it's essentially going to become a game of chicken if you do that. one of you will break eventually, and you better hope that it’s you.

Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

— that really depends on how you define the classic yandere lol.

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

— jeff prides himself for not having any weaknesses, though it's because he simply isn't aware of the ones that he does have. he's extremely touch-starved, first and foremost. if you're willing to do so, you can easily exploit that so long as you're careful and patient. another thing is his fear of fire. just a lighter flicking is enough to have the man freezing up, though this fear will be harder to exploit seeing as he'd probably make sure you have no access to anything that could start one.

Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

Team Tadpole: Modern AU Disney World Edition

A friend and I started riffing on what would happen if Team Tadpole went to Disney World.

Halsin 100% has a different ear headband for every day of the trip

Astarion tries to pretend he's too cool for everything, but is in fact loving it and gets a little emotional when they go for lunch at Be Our Guest

Minthara is just wondering how in the hell she was talked into this for the first half of the trip but betrays her growing enthusiasm by screaming gleefully on Tron.

Wyll gets blushy and nervous at all the princess meet-and-greets (Astarion does not let him live this down)

They go to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Lae'zel spends the entire time repeatedly riding Space Mountain because it's the one time it's 100% dark and as intense as Disney gets (she whines about going to Universal where they have "real rollercoasters")

Eating around the world: Gale, Halsin Drinking around the world: Astarion, Shadowheart, Karlach

Halsin laughs at all the dad jokes on the Jungle Cruise, Minthara seethes quietly, Astarion mumbles about whether he'd get banned from the park for jumping overboard

Karlach nearly gets the Mad Tea Party ride shut down for decontamination by spinning her teacup so hard the other occupants nearly lose their lunch

Minsc ties helium balloons to Boo until he floats. Otherwise he's carrying stuffies and huge amounts of food ("Gale, my foodie friend! Cheeseburger spring rolls; we must try these!")

Gale organizes the itinerary around dinner reservations (he's still a little sad everyone was like "HELL NO, GALE" when he floated the idea of doing the $425-per-person Chef's Table dinner at Victoria and Albert's)

"Which one would just run off and start causing chaos?" "Oh, Karlach. 100%. Well-meaning chaos, but chaos nonetheless."

Smuggler's Run positions: Pilot: Lae'zel, Shadowheart, Minthara (fistfight narrowly avoided by Jaheira splitting them into two groups) Gunner: Karlach, Wyll, Astarion Engineer: Gale, Halsin, Minsc

After the first 30 seconds of hearing the song on "Journey into Imagination" Astarion, Minthara and Lae'zel start discussing how they would like to kill Figment and settle on disembowelment (we will not discuss how "It's a Small World" goes)

Astarion and Shadowheart are Big Mad that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is for children only, because they are pretty pretty princesses. Karlach is sad for the same reason but manages to badger everyone (except Minthara) into getting pixie dusted, meaning they're all finding glitter on their clothing (and elsewhere) for weeks.

Halsin makes everyone take the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch just so he can pet the goats

911 Buddie or Buck/Tommy

So I started watching 911 because of youtube videos of Buddie.

I love this ship and want them to end up together on the show. Endgame Buddie for the win.

That being said Buck/Tommy is fantastic. I am hear 100% for this relationship. If they end up endgame? You know what it would be great...why?

I am all for happy/healthy mentally healthy Buck! This is the happiest and most settled I think he has been in a relationship and its great.

Eddie is a mess. I hate what the writers are doing with this. And my opinion? He should not be in any relationship let alone with Buck without a lot of healing mentally. And if the writers wont give us that and throw them together it sure as fuck not fair to them as characters or us as viewers. Currently Eddie does not deserve Buck. that relationship would be used as a magic fix all and nope...we dont deserve that.

Give me end game Buck/Tommy and platonic soulmates Buddie. Because they are soulmates and they are raising a kid together and it would be great if it would be acknowledged.

A take I wanna have (please don't yell at me or attack me. Corrections might be okay, it's late for me and English is not my main language):

Edwin's love interests. Less to best for him.

Cat King on the less. I know. I love his character, he's very charismatic. I love the teasing and seeing how far he can push Edwin's limits and face his own feelings. I do live for that in some ships. Their dynamic is interesting but let's be real. Even if CK is an Entity and has 9 lives (currently only 6), Edwin is a ghost. Forever 16, forever existing. At some point the relationship would look and or feel weird. And tbh is the one that changed the less thanks to his interactions with Edwin. Edwin grew a lot (and learned a lot about himself) but Cat King? He still play games and yeah, he cares for Ed, but he's been like that since always. And to be loved is to be changed. Maybe the dying for Edwin when he tried to protect him from Ester and ended up dead counts for something, but he's too much in his idealistic bubble where at some point Edwin would fall for his charms. Maybe if he approached in a more friendly way and not trapping him in town, (a less Wattpad Cliche Way), maybe something could've come out better. And look, I love their teasing. I want CatWin being something before Edwin and Charles becoming an actual couple. I still want Cat King and Edwin playing with each other, who's smarter, who's sharper, who's one step ahead of the other, silly little games between them. I want Edwin appreciating Cat King's death for him. I want Cat King obsessed in a respectful way for Ed, appreciate him, praise him. And Ed just, panicking because too gay to function but at the same time, it's not who he wants to hear that from. Yet sometimes falls for that but he knows it's wrong for him.

Simon. We know he was his bully. He had feelings for Ed, and back when they both were alive, being like them was a sin. He only wanted to scare Edwin. Nothing else. If Edwin was able to forgive Simon in hell, understanding it wasn't his fault they both died (technically it is but nobody told them entities and ghosts are real so that wasn't on him), and even wanting to get him out of there, there were a reason. Also, both were sixteen. Still a lot to develop and think and experiment. It took Edwin 100 years to finally open up and be comfortable about himself. Maybe Ghost Simon could learn at the same time with Edwin as his teacher, since both were the same period. Could be interesting Simon revoked from death back to the living because he has unfinished businesses somehow and Edwin taking his case just to make things more clearer and give us a better chance to know why Edwin forgave him. Because just the "Oh, you were in love with me and you didn't know the sacrifice would actually work" doesn't sound enough reasons for someone like Edwin to break out an ex bully from literal hell. There is an explanation. There must be.

Monty. Just. Take away Edwin having feelings for Charles, and Monty being Ester's Familiar Crow. Otherwise, it could've worked. Not right away, but with patience, they could've been in a cute relationship. Monty caught feelings for real, and Edwin is too slow to understand, but at some point they'll both learn and well, lovers. I see Edwin on the aromantic spectrum, so, Monty would have to work his way and Edwin open up to get to like Monty. Or just accept they can be a platonic relationship and that can be good too. Also same issue as Crystal or any Living Entity. Age permanency. Could be a nice Teenage Love Story for Edwin and Monty, but not in case Monty is affected by human ageing.

And best by far, Charles. 30 years of being the married couple on acid. Both timeless, forever young, together by choice, each other's personal afterlife. They died when they had so much to live for. Now they can't be more alive thanks to each other. Even if they end up as platonic stuff and never end up being partners, there wouldn't be any complaining. Edwin loves Charles in a romantic way, and just knowing that Charles won't go away because of that is a total relief, and they have the eternity to find out of Charles does have romantic feelings as well. And reading a post about Charles being a People Pleaser and always saying or doing what others wanted so they like him and been trying to be on Edwin's good side to not push him away for 30 years, so, knowing that his best mate loves him must be a good reason to stop doubting Edwin.

Charles and Crystal are okay. I mean, I like their relationship just because they needed someone. Crystal admitted she could try if he were alive, but between her brainwash, the demon possession, everything happening, it's more like a distraction than an actual feeling. Maybe better writing and they could be her teenage love. After that, she'll grow up. He won't. (I know I said best partners for Edwin but I wanted to clarify my take on Crystal and Charles).

I managed to convince myself to start liking some (sorry about that I’m sure it was annoying to get all those notifications) I have this weird thing where I get nervous about liking older posts cuz I mean it’s been a long time and it’s unprompted so that’s weird right? This has been a journey I laughed, I cried, I giggled, and I blushed and I have enjoyed every bit of it from pasta discourse to Moldien cult wars to Arthur bunnies, I’ve had the most wonderful time. Now my mind is gonna be filled with Arthurian stuff for months my maladaptive daydreaming is having the time of its life I have a road trip next week and I’m so looking forward to just staring out a window for 6+hours while my Hound's just alternating daydream adventures with the cast o(≧▽≦)o. Also speaking of your amazingly wonderful, sweet, and supportive cast I have decided my (though I love them all) favorite poly pairings are Arthur/Morien and whole crew polycule I’d sell my soul for those but I 100% understand why you can’t really do that. I don’t think I have the endurance in me to code a single poly no matter how much I wish it so the fact you’re doing any let alone several is just god tier you are awe inspiring.

You are so relatable for the maladaptive daydreaming (this game was absolutely born out of my own mental movies), I wish I could speed up the writing and editing for the next update so you can read it while you travel but I'm afraid it's a lost cause (I have been working on things, even now, but I am currently rewriting like half of it and while it is way better it takes sooo much time and energy). Knowing my characters and story are in someone's thoughts it the best kind of reward I need. I will never likely monetise this game, so this is the thing I wish to leave people with, and I hope the characters can be comforting and keep you company <3

Evaluating the Bad Batch members by BoyDad vs. GirlDad-ness

Wanted to take a quick look at how well I think each Bad Batch brother would do as a BoyDad versus as a GirlDad. These are just my opinions. Feel free to share your own thoughts!

Hunter: 50-50

Obviously, he's Omega's dad, so he gets major GirlDad points there, but I could see him being just as good of a BoyDad. Like, if Omega had been a boy, he would've done just as good of a job, if not better.

He seemed to bond with the cadets well enough in 3.02 "Paths Unknown." Plus, he's probably the closest thing his brothers had to a dad for ... well, pretty much their whole lives. He probably felt like a dad trying to keep up with Wrecker's energy and pyromania, Crosshair's brooding and snarky attitude, and Tech's ... Tech-ness.

(EDIT: Also @lemariz reminded me that Hunter’s Dad Instincts kicked in pretty naturally when he was talking to Caleb in 1.01 “Aftermath.” I really think he would’ve done just as good of a job at being a BoyDad. And, again, he basically was for his brothers.)

I imagine that, post-finale, Hunter keeps a close eye on the cadets. Maybe he even becomes their de facto guardian too until they reach biological adulthood in a few years.

But, obviously, raising Omega would remain his priority.

Wrecker: 75% BoyDad, 25% GirlDad

I really think Wrecker would be a better BoyDad. Or at least, that he would take to being a BoyDad more naturally.

Not that he couldn't be a GirlDad, but like he does with Omega, I think he would be more comfortable doing more boy-coded or at least unisex-coded activities. He would definitely enjoy playing tag or any other games, doing other physical activities like swimming and building sandcastles, and generally just running around having fun.

I don't know how he would do with like, playing with dolls, dressing up, doing hair and/or nails, etc. I don't think he would be lacking in enthusiasm, but he would definitely be more comfortable playing rough-and-tumble games and whatnot.

I also wonder how he would handle Omega hitting puberty. Suddenly the kid he played with is gone, and now he's got this moody teenage girl to deal with. (I honestly don't think Omega would be that moody of a teenager, but I'm sure there would be some ups and downs the whole family would have to navigate.)

I honestly think post-finale Wrecker would spend a lot of time with the cadets while they're still "kids," and be a big brother/mentor to them as he is to Omega.

He seemed to bond with them very quickly in 3.02, and since Hunter and Crosshair will be focused on Omega, Wrecker might feel like he should take on the job of looking after the cadets. Maybe he would even become their de facto guardian, that way Hunter can spend more time with Omega.

Crosshair: 100% GirlDad

Let's be real, fam. Crosshair would not do well as a BoyDad.

He is 100% GirlDad material.

I'm sure that if Crosshair ever had a biological son or if he officially adopted a boy, that he would love him. But, I really can't see Crosshair throwing himself into the Star Wars equivalent of Hot Wheels or wrestling, the way he would absolutely throw himself into things like braiding Omega's hair or listening to the Star Wars equivalent of Taylor Swift with her.

Heck, even if Omega wasn't in the picture for some reason, I bet he'd do better at raising a biological daughter than a biological son. I don’t think he would take to being a BoyDad at all — like it definitely would not come naturally to him.

I really can't explain why, aside from telling you that Crosshair's personality and character arc remind me a lot of my own dad, who's 100% a GirlDad. I'm his only biological child, but judging by his relationships with my stepsiblings when we were all kids, my dad never really took up the BoyDad mantle for my stepbrother. He was 100% a GirlDad for me and, to a much smaller degree, my stepsister.

So, I imagine Crosshair would be the exact same way.

I'm sure post-finale Crosshair can tolerate spending time with the cadets. Heck, he might even like them in small doses. But, if Hunter ever asked him, "Would you rather spend the day with the cadets or Omega?", you know Crosshair would respond, "What kind of stupid question is that?"

Echo: 90% BoyMom, 10% GirlMom

Because the fandom has officially declared Echo a mom (lol), I'm saying Echo is a BoyMom by default.

The guy has spent 99% of his life dealing with his brothers' bullshit, saving their asses from danger and asking them if they packed a lunch before going off on dangerous missions.

I don't think he was a bad "mom" to Omega before he joined Rex's clone underground, but even post-finale, I can't really see him readily doing "girly" things with/for her the way I imagine Hunter and Crosshair would.

By the way, I think post-finale Echo would basically be Omega's "godmother." Someone who's like a parent, and can step into that role if needed, but who isn't around all the time. He's an extended family member by this point, but he would definitely be the first person the Batch would call if something happened.

Tech: ???

I honestly have no idea about Tech. He doesn't really strike me as either BoyDad or GirlDad material.

I always saw his relationship with Omega as an uncle-turned-big brother. He definitely cared about her, but he never really connected with her until 2.10 "The Crossing." After that, I think they were much closer, but they didn't get to develop that bond much more because he died shortly after. 🫠😭

I really see Tech as more of a teacher/professor than a parent. And if he was a professor, I have no doubt he could successfully teach students of any gender, or general demographic.

But, feel free to disagree with me. I like Tech, but there are plenty of fans who love him more than I do, and might have their own thoughts.

As I said: I welcome friendly debate and discussion on any or all of these points! 😇
