Build-A-Bear at Victoria Secret
Lando Norris x Reader
Summary: You decide to let your boyfriend, Lando Norris, build a bear at Victoria Secret.
Warnings: suggestive
^*^*^*^*^*^*
“You’re taking this way too seriously.” you laughed as Lando inspected a lace bralette like it was a car part.
“Well, if I’m picking something for you to wear, it has to be perfect.”
He grabbed a bralette from the table and held it up, eyes flicking from the hanger to you. “This color would look unreal on you. Like...dangerous.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Dangerous for who?”
“For me.” he said, half under his breath, still staring.
You crossed your arms, pretending not to be flustered under his gaze. “I thought the whole point was for me to look good, not give you a heart attack.”
He smirked. “Same difference.”
You snatched the bralette from his hands and held it up against yourself. “Alright, stylist of the year, what’s next? Or are you planning to narrate every lingerie choice like it’s a qualifying lap?”
Lando tilted his head, eyes narrowing in mock consideration. “Actually, that’s a great idea. Imagine it—‘Turn one, delicate lace. Seamless execution around the cups—’”
“Okay, stop,” you laughed, shoving him lightly. “You’re a menace.”
He caught your hand as it pressed against his chest, holding it there a second longer than necessary. “Only when you make me nervous.”
There it was again—that flicker of honesty buried in the banter. You could feel it humming in the air between you.
“You don’t seem nervous,” you said quietly, your voice dropping.
He shrugged. “I’m good at pretending.”
You held the bralette against your chest.
“Think you’re ready for this?”
He caught your hand, squeezing it gently.
“More than ready.”

Mr. Targaryen Will See You Now
Modern!Aemond x Reader (three parts)
warnings (for the future chapters): sex, oral sex, loss of virginity, squirting, stalking, obsession, manipulation, reader being clueless, but not totally innocent, blackmail, p in v sex, blood kink, knife kink, gun kink, handcuff kink, bdsm, masturbation, fingering
a/n: I’ve been doing okay, but things have been complicated. There are times I wish someone would love and protect me like in the romance book—longing for a romantic life and longing for connection and consistency. I’m still clinging on. Oh, and I started to drive, I’ve gotten better at driving, but still need to learn. And my family has been cruel to me that even made me believe that no one will love me. But art is my passion, one thing that keeps me alive until now. And thank you guys, for supporting me. I love you guys very much.
The morning hair wasn’t cooperating; you took a nice long, hot shower the night before the interview—which you knew nothing about, and planned on spending time to read books and drink merlot and binge on snacks, or watching korean soap operas, being a usual daydreamer you are— and you were getting ready for the interview, groggy, and sobbing on the inside.
The iron curl is broken. And nothing to repair except for your roommate’s curler, tried to make the curls tighter, hence why you brushed your hair back for a softer effect.
Long story short, your friend has called in sick, and asked you to fill in the details for her. Nevertheless, a shy and innocent girl such as yourself. Under a bad weather, you have to fill in, that’s what a good friend does.
Any shenanigans and canceled during the day of interview meant blacklist.
The appointment must be that important.
Clad in knit white jacket with black lines, white top and silky pleated skirt, with your sideswept longish strands tucked in, you were sure you’re going to vomit. Vomit from misery, vomit from stomach pain, or vomit from an awful weather, you made sure your clean, it-girl makeup is on plastered to your sleepy expression, hoping no one would take you as a joke. Presenting as possible also means the downside of being insecure or inferior is low. But with amount of makeup you set up, you made sure you’re neither too plain nor extravagant.
Everything has to be balanced accordingly. But appearance willing to stand out, if the destiny allows it to be.
“You got that tape recorder, right?”
“Yeah.”
“And the interview sheet?”
“Got it right here in my purse.”
“How about the gift for him?”
Your brows knitted. “I have it all set. I don’t think he’s going to accept this. There’s no way in hell.”
“Not if it comes from gorgeous lady like you. You look prim and proper today! Ready to go at the Met Gala, Miss Victoria’s Secret Model?”
“Ha, as if! Besides, I can’t go in looking like a wet rag. They’ll kick me out.” Sprayed a fee spritz of the sweet, vanilla, cotton-candy smelling perfume on your neck and neckline over your interview getup.
“Funny.” Your friend howled a wet, sloppy and stuffy sneeze. “Don’t mind me, just get your round ass going before someone decides to come behind you and give it a good smack, and it’s not going to be me.”
She spilled a good part of the soup as your friend accidentally swallowed and slurped the noodle and coughed. Oops.
“Careful, that’s a $50 white carpet I just got,” you said with a tiny smile.
“I’m being careful,” your friend said, inspecting the bowl if the spicy soup spilled. And there’s none.
“Alright, alright. I’ll go ahead. Stay still.”
“And you stay naughty with your ass poking out,” your friend shouted behind you as you walked off.
You must achieve perfectionism at all costs. That’s what beauty is for.
~~~
As you entered the high floor of the building, the receptionists, looking flawless and elegant, greeted you, as if you’re another member of the company. Beautiful women with beautiful problems with beautiful men, you’d assume.
“Miss Stark?”
“Yes?” you replied, the receptionist insisted to take your coat off, but you politely refused with a sweet grin, but you gave your umbrella instead. Nonetheless, the secretary lead you to the high double doors—grey and glossy.
Immaculate.
“Mr. Targaryen will see you now.”
And opened the door. By your mistake, you didn’t realize one of your items dropped, causing you to lunge forward and knees bruised, following by your personal items and paper for the interview flopped on the ground.
Your ankle received a sharp pain, pressuring.
By the glass window, a long-haired man in a steel grey suit pivoted his head around from the noise and approached. “Are you alright, miss?”
His voice tuned in your ears. You have never heard a voice with profound deepness and…seduction.
A realization pang when you found yourself agitating like a shy teenage girl in high school, a shy, awkward girl talking to a handsome guy. You bet he’s the type of guy who’s popular, but doesn’t give a fuck what anyone thinks of him, or that he doesn’t occur to him as a benefit of being popular.
You’ve never seen him on papers and articles on the internet. No picture has come to a close when you glimpsed at him in person. Too long, in fact. You thought it would be an old man wanting more attention from the source of dangerous media.
He’s that gorgeous.
Immaculate. Neat.
And strictly punctual.
Is he taking his father’s place for the interview?
“I’m doing okay, sir. I apologize for the inconvenience,” you replied with modesty, nearly breaking the sweat on your brow.
Instead, he huffed, returning back to his desk and leaned himself over the table, awaiting. Watching. A faint scar outlined from the thin brow to cheekbone.
You’d assume he’s associated with dangerous people underground. Though you never knew him personally. Only an assumption.
“Sit,” he commanded, ever so still.
Gulping your parched throat, after drinking water and caffeine—you purchased on your way—in the car, heading for the massive building, you wondered drinking coffee has an effect on the stability in the nervous system. Sat on one of the empty green chairs, you had your utensil pen you bought online from a Japanese website and an aesthetic mini notebook, readying the questions. Flipping over the rippled pages, you studied over the questions, and as it turns out your friend has more of an aspect on the side of…inappropriate philosophy.
Nearly face palming yourself, you wanted to strangle your friend for setting you up for failure.
What the hell are you thinking, dude?
“Are you just going to sit there and act like a mousy librarian or are you going to interview me for the benefit of my time and success?”
Shoulder blades flinched at the sound of his tone. “Pardon me, sir,” you stated, nearly shitting your skirt and thong on his green velvet chair. And cleared your throat. “My first question is…” Your friend’s questions doesn’t give that much benefit for his time and success, so you tweaked your friend’s intentions to more of a productive approach. “How do you stabilize the company despite on the near downfall from the predecessor’s influential endeavors?”
Aemond’s violet eye gleamed. “You did your research on my father.”
In silence, your head inclined as acknowledgment.
“My father’s attempts on reclaim to the company was rather a long difficult process. His real endeavor was to lure people for…unsavory tasks and planned on passing his inheritance to his oldest daughter, my half-sister, Rhaenyra.”
Something in his statement was trying to say he wishes to air the dirty laundry. But you knew that he’s not an idiot.
“And how do you approach it compared to his “past” attempts?”
“Business travels had more suitable to catering and stabilizing the company in years, by speaking to several CEOs and their predecessors who are much more responsible to financial and stocks, how they be able to keep the staff members and their company intact in excellent condition and how business traveling has more benefits on success than staying in one place in one country. Their predecessors are much more controlling than how much stocks they hold—eventually they lost their staff and shares due to certain disadvantages. I learned both sides of the same coin, and I learned to take advantage of both.”
“By being fair and firm,” you assumed, pen scribbling. “You want to be superior and be well-respected, but you also try to be fair in all sides to keep a steady balance, hence why you travel to different countries to learn about different cultures and their ways of work culture, how they handle their staff and clients. And you looked at the bad effects to make sure no mistake is taken place.”
“Precisely.” Aemond smirked as you wrote along his statement.
Scribbling further down on the page until you flipped to a next one, you tweaked another question that your friend’s opposing curiosity has.
“With comes along the inheritance, and with the hefty influence of social media, how do you manage to steady the balance as well? With your father’s…whereabouts and the company, and with today’s social influence and societal aspects on differences, how else do you keep manage from falling?”
Aemond clicked his tongue. “It was a difficult process, and like any ordinary day, we strive for sanity to survive. Not everyone handles scandals correctly. While those who handle with promiscuity, I handled myself, the staff and the company with grace.”
“I assumed that some of the members who are in connections with you, have no ability to face the outcome with grace like you?” you said without thinking.
Aemond frowned at that. “Not everyone.”
“My apologies, sir.” You flipped the blank page over. “And with that said, how do you envision your company in the next 30 years?”
“The questions you asked are vitally intimidating. Are you trying to challenge me in a way?”
“For your benefit of time and success, yes.”
Aemond’s lips curled into a soft grin. “Clever girl.”
Gulped again, you found your legs coiled to a tighter position. Hand nearly shook and released the pen, but caught on it.
Focus, (Y/N). No time to be naughty.
Stop being naughty. Don’t leave yourself along with naughty thoughts. You don’t want to jump on him.
Aemond sat down near you to another set of green velvet chair.
“Continue,” he said, almost sounded like a purr.
“I, uh,” you looked over your friend’s silly questions and alternate it with another. Meanwhile Aemond amused himself with your fluster. “With you as a CEO of the Targaryen Company, where do you find yourself in the next 20 years? Are you planning to be the CEO, or are you planning to inherit the company and stocks to someone new, someone who’s not related to you, even?”
Aemond’s head tilted to the side, his white-blond hair spilled over his right shoulder.
“I would like to know more about yourself, Miss Stark. For a woman who belongs to a prestigious family, your wit and tongue are sharp. Are you always this curious?”
“You’ve met them?”
His brow flicked up. “I met your father during the meeting sometime last week. He has a well-deserved reputation.”
Your hands clutched tighter.
Aemond squinted his hues. “There’s more than meets the eye. What is your name?”
Correcting your postured, you answered in delicate voice. “My name is (Y/N), sir. (Y/N) (L/N).”
Aemond hummed. “(Y/N). I never thought you took your friend’s place to interview me.”
“She’s sick.”
“Figures.”
Your brows scrunched. “How do you know?”
“I can see the way you’re fidgeting to your pen.”
“How do you know her?”
“I know she’s not the brightest girl, nor a brightest student. I overheard her spoke once over a party on how she wanted to have a wonderful marriage with a wealthy man to make her ex-boyfriend jealous.”
“Okay, I don’t need to know that sort of detail, but—”
Aemond took the folded paper from your hand. “Are you single? Are you interested in marriage besides marrying to your own company? Does your family know that I’m single?” He looked at you in disbelief and said, “I’m surprised you have thought of particular questions you asked on the spot despite the opposing questions your friend makes.”
“It’s a job interview. It’s meant to be taken seriously.”
“And you did well, Miss (Y/N). Therefore, I wished to know more about you.” His back leaned in on a large chair frame, as he tossed the folded paper on a small coffee table. “What are you studying right now?”
“I major in history and art.”
“What are your favorite things to do on your spare time?”
“I like to go to the gym. Go to Starbucks and drink coffee. Sometimes I make coffee at home, and then…I sometimes read and watch a lot of shows…”
“What kind of shows?”
“You wouldn’t understand.”
“So it’s romance?”
“Yes, but a different kind of romance…” you stated, awkward.
Aemond titled his head again.
You shifted in your seat.
“It’s a…um….”
He chuckled. “I never meant to put you on a spot, Miss (L/N), I apologize. So what are your plans regarding to work?”
“I’m studying at the moment for my finals.”
Aemond uncrossed his legs, his back leaned forward, gazing to your eyes. “I would like for you to be as my secretary.”
Your lips parted.
“There’s an internship that I’m offering at the current moment. More benefits for my staff and PTO.”
You leaned back and thought of the offer, but Aemond stopped you.
“What sort of books are you into, Miss (Y/N)? If I were to guess, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte or Thomas Hardy, which author do you prefer?”
“I prefer Leo Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoevsky.”
Aemond folded his hands together. “Sad and poetic?”
“It’s the closest thing to reality. I don’t mind Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte or Tom Hardy. Although Tom Hardy’s stories are also considered as tragic. But..reading modern romance novels isn’t so bad. But I found myself more addictive to coffee, fashionable clothes and beauty products more now.”
You found yourself smiling at that. The sharp gasp filled in your throat when Aemond’s hand reached you, and tugged the band wrapped around your hair, loosening it, and combed the silk, lustrous strands through his fingertips, staring at you.
“Perfect,” he whispered.
You nearly pinched yourself before the secretary entered. “There’s a meeting in the conference room. Another company has requested for your presence.”
Aemond retrieved his hand on time. “I’ll be there soon.”
The door closed as you said, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, sir.” And a heavy thud clashed onto the ground. It was a gift. For him.
“For you,” you said, handing the gift over.
“What is it?”
“Chocolate.”
Aemond chuckled shortly. “I don’t eat sweets, Miss (L/N).”
As you got up from the seat, Aemond’s hand grasp for your wrist, making your head turn to meet his beautiful eyes. “Think about my offer,” he said, along that, he handed you his card by tucking the card in on one of your back pocket of your skirt, lingering on feeling your round ass than how someone touched you.
With that, you bowed and left his spacious offer, leaving him with wonder and amazement.
He ripped out the ribbon and wrap, revealing it to be compliments for him. Chocolates—as you claimed—and framed translucent glass with a green ink dragon inside.
He ripped one of the pieces from the chocolate box and ate one. Sweet, like yours. He wondered what you would feel and taste like.
Aemond found himself a new toy to play with. Another bite of the caramelized chocolate, with finding himself in an entrance with you, he has his sights on you. And thus dialing the phone number on his smartphone.
“Sir?” a voice said on the other side of the phone call.
“Hello. I have a task for you. You won’t fail me.”
One taste of you, and he won’t ever plan on letting you go.
~~~
Heavy door slammed shut and met up with your friend again.
“Sooo…how’s your meeting with him? What’s he like?”
“He’s…nice?”
“Nice? Saying the word ‘nice’ is automatically a code for friend zone.”
“No, I mean, he, he’s intimidating, and yet he’s able to answer my questions.”
“You mean my questions?”
You handed over your notebook to your friend on your original questions. “Wow, even I can’t ask a question like that.”
“Aemond found out that I stepped in for the interview instead of you.”
“How can you tell?”
“He met your father last week. And he already knows what you look like.”
“I never even knew him personally.”
“And he overheard you on how you wanted to marry a rich to make your ex jealous. That’s not something to easily slip by. Aemond has sharp ears and tongue.”
“Ugh, he caught me.”
“And yet those questions you wanted to ask him is simply more than an interview because why?”
“Because no one knows about him personally.”
“Yeah, but on a matter of a serious spectrum, not a flirtation. Do you even find him attractive, or do you want to set up with his siblings?”
“Ew, no, I don’t find Aemond handsome, but his other brothers do. Or his uncle.” Your friend looked over your interview questions. “Looks like he’s impressed by you.”
“He is.”
“So is he asking you out on a date?”
“No he asked me to be as his secretary.”
Your friend gasped. “No!”
“Yes, he is. He mentioned about the internship, and..”
“Are you going to take it?”
“I haven’t thought about it that much. I’m still studying for the finals.”
Your friend made a casual dismissive wave. “You’ll do great in the company and you get to see his gorgeous face everyday.”
“I thought you said he’s not your type.”
“He’s not. I like his uncle more. Older guys are my thing.”
“Right. Because older men knows how to take care because of their experience.”
“Exactly! I think you and Aemond are going to get along so well! Who knows you’ll get benefits. Even from him.” She winked and took the rest of the coffee.
“Hey!”
“Thanks for the coffee!” And the bedroom door slammed shut, leaving you happy about today’s outcome.
Clapped your hands together, you said aloud to yourself, “Alright! Time for me to take a shower, get dressed and watch some drama on Netflix.” And cheered your way into the bathroom. “By the way,” you called your friend out, shouting, “I didn’t get to tape-record him!”
“WHHHAAAAAATTTTT?!” is what your frantic friend responded.
~~~
Unbeknownst to you, while you’re undressed and soaked in the shower, Aemond’s pants unzipped, his hand caressed his large cock, pressed it harder as you scrubbed your legs and backside.
Delicious.
The bulge in his pants was ready to spring during the interview with you.
Thanks to the card he handed over by tucking it into your back pocket, he felt how good your ass looks. How your ponytail given him an impression that you’re a good girl on the outside but a bad girl was somewhere hiding, dying to get out.
Stroking his hard cock faster, moaning aloud—strained—as he watched you rinsed the soap from your body and stepped out of the shower with your tits bounced, remembering the perfume scent as Aemond went close to you. How he’ll perform his fantasies with you. Envisioned you, right next to a knife, he’ll play with blood trickling down on your skin alongside of bruises on your wrists on handcuffs.
It was beautiful.
Divine.
Cum spritz out, flying and plopping over his thighs, leaving him with a heavy huff and lustful gaze glueing to your naked body, drying up from a steamed shower.
She’ll be mine.
MDNI | 18+ | König x Reader
TW: mentions of alcohol, mild language, misplaced anger, mature scene.
“He makes you jealous.”
König knew the type of woman he married.
Especially, after a heated argument.
There at the end of the bar, you downed the last few sips of your second cosmo, reminiscing on the stupid fight you just had outside, moments ago.
“Want another?” The bartender customarily asked as he draped a hand rag over his shoulder.
You had a good buzz going.
Although, you didn’t need to go over your limit. The sober mask comes on as you pushed the empty glass away with your fingertips.
“No, I’m okay. But, just incase I change my mind; Keep my tab open.”
“What about your big fella and his friend?”
Your eyes thinned at the bartenders question with confusion quickly morphing into raw ire as you swiveled around to see König sitting at a booth with an arm purposely wrapped around some red headed bimbo.
Let the games begin, motherfucker.
In a matter of seconds, you pounced from the bar stool and like a black panther in the shadows, you blended in with the sea of bodies, stalking and observing their interactions from afar.
As a former mercenary yourself, patience became your most reliable source.
Feeling a familiar pair of eyes burning a hole into him, König swiftly turned his attention to the crowded bar, leisurely scouting until his gaze met yours.
His lips curl into a cocky smirk as he pulls the woman closer to him, triggering you to fly into a jealous rage.
Maneuvering through the horde of drunks, you wantonly drag over a nearby chair once you finally approached the two, persistently planting yourself uncomfortably close to the woman.
“Neue Freunde finden, mein Liebe? (Making new friends, my love?)” You asked König while your eyes fixate on the red haired woman, maintaining a toothy grin.
“Ja, das glaube ich. (Yeah, I guess I am.)”
The red head’s brows crease together, feeling quite uneasy.
“I’m sorry, König. Do you know her?” She questions as she leans closer into König, hoping he would shield her from your piercing watch and you fight the maniacal urges that arise.
By the befuddling look on the poor girl’s face and her accent was a dead give away…she was an American.
Regardless. She had no place flirting with König and the thought of her sharing the same oxygen as him, slowly boiled your blood to a dangerous temperature.
“Ich schwöre bei Gott, wenn du ihn berührst...(I swear to God, if you touch him)” Your tone daintly dips to a menacing level, one that König immediately recognizes.
The smug expression on König’s face becomes one of wary. “My apologies, Schatz. This here is my lovely wife, Y/N. She thinks you’re very pretty.” He blatantly lies through his teeth.
“Y-Your wife?”
The woman blinks a few times, bewildered by how she missed all the crucial signs.
Her eyes drop to your left hand, where a diamond ring would be, but instead there was a small calligraphy tattoo, engraved in your skin that read:
“Til Death.”
“Hat deine Hure einen Namen, König? (Does your whore have a name?)”
He didn’t answer right away.
Instead König reached over to grab the glass of bourbon that sat on the table, taking a quick swig of it while watching the tension build as you continued to inspect his new “friend.”
Your eyes flit over to him with impending glare, which light a fire under his ass to give an answer.
“Victoria.” He said dully, avoiding all eye contact.
A seed of suspicion was ready to plant itself as König had a small habit of fabricating to avoid conflict. But, the way her neck almost snapped at the name, convinced you otherwise and your expression softens.
“gefällt sie dir?” (Do you like her?)
“Y/N, es ist nicht-” (Y/N, it’s not-)
Swiftly rising to your feet and cutting off his excuse, you walk your way around the table to settle comfortably in your husband’s lap, wedging yourself between the two with your eyes studiously on Victoria.
Despite your calm and relaxed nature, the air surrounding held underlying tension with a dicey edge to it.
Victoria’s eyes shift frantically between you and König, hoping that she can escape the situation without any causing any more problems.
“I’m sorry, but I didn’t know you were married. I just assumed you were single.”
“Du hast falsch gedacht, Schlampe. Ich wette, die dumme Schlampe erkennt nicht einmal, was für eine Frau ich bin.(You thought wrong, bitch. I bet that stupid bitch doesn’t even realize what kind of woman I am.)” You added with a humorless laugh, confusing Victoria even more.
“What did she say?”
“Don’t look at my husband, look at me.”
In response to your command, König’s arm causally wraps itself around your waist, not to be endearing but to restrain you if things go suddenly left.
“Are you having fun with König, Victoria?”
Victoria shivers at the piercing tone of your question.
“No, of course not.”
“No? So are you telling me that he wasn’t good enough to entertain you?” You scoffed in disbelief and instinctively König’s grip tightens around your waist, fully aware of the game your about to play.
Surveying Spain: Working with Spanish Civil War Posters at NYU Libraries
Hi, my name is Mia Lindenburg. I am a graduate student undergoing NYU’s Dual Degree program, where I will get an MA in literature and an MLIS. This semester, I have been working with NYU’s Barbara Goldsmith Preservation & Conservation Department, mentored by Lindsey Tyne (Conservation Librarian), Laura McCann (Director of Preservation), Weatherly Stephan (Head of Archival Collections Management), and Felix Esquivel (Collections Manager, Special Collections), to survey the Spanish Civil War Poster Collection (ALBA.GRAPHICS.001). This internship has helped me to prepare for a future career in special collections libraries, where I will be required to work with delicate material similar to what I see in this collection. I am very thankful for this opportunity and how it has allowed me to delve deeper into archival work with a hands-on approach.
In addition to working with the Preservation department, I have been lucky enough to work with the Archival Collections Management (ACM) and Special Collections departments, allowing me to see the different perspectives of handling a large and often complicated collection. This blog post will demonstrate the different ways in which these departments added to my learning experience and show some of the special facets of working with this collection in particular.
BUILDING THE DATABASE
Before I began surveying this collection, I had to create an infrastructure that would allow me to compile the data I would be collecting. I used the software AirTable to build this database. First, I had to move the data that had already been collected into my table. This came from Archives Space (AS), an archives information management software used by NYU Libraries. This had much of the preliminary data I would need to fact-check against in the survey, such as poster locations. After I had brought the AS data into the table, I created fields that would duplicate the AS fields but with the descriptor (survey) to show any differences. Additionally, I made new fields for things we might want to consider, such as condition and size.
UNIQUE POSTER FORMATS
“I tu? Que fas per la victoria?”
ALBA-ES 46, copy 4 “i tu?” (Photo by: M. Lindenburg)
The first set of posters that I want to discuss is ALBA-ES 45 and 46, also known as the two sides of “I tu? Que fas per la victoria?” a Catalan poster depicting a bloody soldier advocating for his audience to participate in the war, to support the cause. This collection has many copies, encapsulated (meaning this poster is inside a protective mylar sleeve) and unencapsulated, of this poster. The copies pictured below interest me because they were particularly delicate. You can tell from the photos that they were split into pieces, making flipping the posters to inspect the back difficult. These will need a lot of conservation work, although they may not be an immediate priority since so many copies are in fine condition.
ALBA-ES 45, copy 4 “i tu?” (Photos by: M. Lindenburg)
“Allisteu-vos a les milicies antifeixistes”
The poster “Allisteu-vos a les milicies antifeixistes,” belongs to a series of posters collected at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia as part of a circulating exhibit.
ALBA-ES 116, recto, “Allisteu-vos a les milicies antifeixistes” (Photo by: M. Lindenburg)
These interest me because of how they were mounted for the exhibition. Rather than encapsulating the posters or leaving them untouched, this exhibitor chose to attach muslin across the back and use cardboard and grommets to hang them.
Annual Xmas Eve Ball
Poster ALBA-US-15, uses a mounting technique commonly used with posters associated with the Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade (VALB).
ALBA-US-15 (Photo by: M. Lindenburg)
It is mounted on a paperboard, which makes it somewhat heavy and unwieldy when grouped in folders. Take note of the headline of Zero Mostel, which shows the support the VALB received, even from celebrities.
THE INSCRIBED NAMES & WHO THEY WERE
Archie Brown is a signature I’ve encountered a lot in this collection.
ALBA-ES-8 (Photo by: M. Lindenburg)
Brown was born in 1911 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was brought into the world of labor activism at an early age. 1934, he was arrested at a Young Communist League (YCL) event in San Pedro. But he continued with his activism despite this. In 1937, Brown got tuned into the struggles in Spain, particularly after his brother was recruited to the International Brigade. In San Francisco, Brown was denied a passport because of his radical reputation. So, he went to New York City and stowed away on a ship to France, where he would travel to Spain. He joined the forces of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade and, even after the war, continued to fight as a soldier and an activist.
Harry Hakam is an interesting character, partially because of his frequent correspondence with other members of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade.
ALBA-ES-77 (Photo by: M. Lindenburg)
Hakam was born in Brooklyn in 1913. In February 1937, he sailed to France, arriving in Spain in March of the same year. He served primarily as a battalion runner, returning to the US in 1938. However, it’s his correspondence that makes him shine. His collection marker (Hakam) is found on many posters that share others’ names, meaning he likely sent these posters back and forth between fellow members.
We don’t have as much information on Al Erdberg, but we do know from the Harry Hakam Papers (ALBA.046) and the fact that Erdberg shows up in the Hakam posters that they had correspondence. Erdberg was likely part of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade or a state-side supporter. This would be an interesting figure to research further.
ALBA-ES-30 (Photo by: M. Lindenburg)
REHOUSING
A big problem I encountered when surveying these posters was with the housing rather than the posters themselves. Often, I encountered groups of ten or more posters in a folder, making the folder heavy and difficult to move. Further, if these posters are in mylar encapsulation, they become even heavier. To remedy this, the posters need to be rehoused into sturdier folders. I began some of this work with Laura McCann this semester, and the rehousing of the posters will continue through the summer.
VELCRO STICKERS
Some of the posters I found had velcro stickers left on the mylar encapsulation. These are likely from previous exhibition techniques, where the posters were attached to a wall using velcro. However, this technique is now deemed problematic, so Lindsey Tyne and I used a process to remove these stickers. We used a hot iron to heat small metal spatulas, which we then used to melt the adhesive of the sticker and lift the velcro off. This is a delicate process, but we got into a rhythm and moved fairly quickly.
Mia removing velcro (Photo by: L. Tyne)
This collection has taught me many things. I have learned to be patient, think carefully, and always be on the lookout for new observations, among many other smaller skills. If I were asked to advise someone starting a similar project, I encourage them to take note of their natural rhythm so that they can figure out which order of surveying works best for them to maximize efficiency. I would also tell them not to be afraid of asking questions, even if it’s clarifying something they think you already know. This has been an incredible experience, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of this collection. Thank you for taking the time to read my post!
There is also a border with Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea. And, lest anyone forget, there is a maze of underground tunnels one recently-freed Israeli hostage calls "Lower Gaza" which presents numerous illegal exit opportunities.
As Ari Zivotofsky observes in the Jerusalem Post, a September 19, 2023, episode of the Palestinian television show Emigration claimed that, "in the past 15 years a quarter of a million young Palestinians left for abroad." In 2022, over 15,000 of them who lived abroad (having apparently escaped the "prison") willingly returned to it to celebrate the feast of Eid al-Adha.
This is not how prisons work.
The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) has been running a series on "Gaza Before October 7" refuting the "concentration camp" and "open-air prison" claims with pictures and videos. The first two episodes follow Palestinian "influencer" Yousef Alhelou as he travels around Gaza, showing off the top spots for tourists, including a gold market. Subsequent episodes include an Al-Jazeera feature of the economic boom in Gaza, Turkish television reports on the markets of Gaza, and various Arab media outlets covering the many sporting events in Gaza.
Hamas propagandists argue that Gazans are denied goods and services they are entitled to because of Israel's "land, water, and sea blockade," but Israel only blocks weapons from entering Gaza. Even after October 7, Israel has continued to supply electricity, food, and medicine.
What the "pro-Palestine" luminaries will never admit is that Israel has been forced into controlling Gaza's ports by the long history of weapons shipped there. In 2001, two vessels, the Calypso and the Santorini, were seized with weapons destined for Palestinian terrorists, and in 2002, a Palestinian ship called the Karine A was seized with 50 tons of Iranian weapons destined for Gaza. Since then, Israel has acted to prevent further shipments of weapons from reaching Gaza by sea. In 2007, after Hamas took over Gaza completely, Israel imposed an inspections regime and began more aggressively searching ships for smuggled weapons. Food and medicine are not prevented from entering Gaza.
Poor access to healthcare is another complaint about life in the Gaza "open-air prison." In April 2023, the Jerusalem-based anti-Israel activist group B'Tselem faulted Israel for preventing Palestinians from leaving Gaza in order to be treated in Israeli hospitals. But Israel treats plenty of Palestinians. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh sends his entire family to Israel for medical care. In 2013 his 1-year-old granddaughter was treated in an Israeli hospital; in 2014 his daughter was treated at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital and his mother-in-law was treated at Jerusalem's Augusta Victoria Hospital; in 2021 his niece was treated at Ichilov Hospital. Just this month, it was reported that Haniyeh's grandniece was being treated at the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva. But why should any Gazans be treated in Israeli hospitals? There are 36 hospitals in Gaza, many of which are run by foreign nations (Indonesia, Turkey, Jordan, European countries) serving a population of around 2 million.
Of course, hospitals in Gaza are dual-purpose buildings, offering both healthcare and camouflage for the entrances to Hamas's elaborate subterranean infrastructure. An IDF spokesman said that "Hamas systematically built the Indonesian Hospital to disguise its underground terror infrastructure." The Al-Shifa hospital, where IDF soldiers found a stash of rifles, ammunition, and ballistic vests, also sits atop a major tunnel junction. IDF soldiers recently found unopened boxes of medicine for Israeli hostages at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
If Gaza is a prison, Hamas is the jailer.
State Championship (TWD Fanfiction Part 10)
State Championship Part 10
(A TWD Fan Fiction)
I do not own any of the rights to The Walking Dead, nor do I own any of the characters mentioned from here on in, other than Victoria Hawkins. Some situations have been changed and some people may have been switched in this alternate universe.
All characters in this fan fiction are over the age of 21 years old.
Coach Negan Smith X Female OC
Word Count: 1285
~*~
Part 10
Victoria spent the next few days crying on and off as she packed her stuff. She stepped away from her laptop after scoping out colleges in Atlanta Georgia since she was going back there. She was happy that one of the colleges accepted her in the middle of the school year. Her start date for the new college was next week so she had to get on the road soon.
She had run into Negan and Lucille once when she went to get boxes and totes from a store and saw how happy they really were. She internally hated what Negan had done, but she couldn’t bring herself to hate him as a person.
Finally being fully packed she took her stuff to her car, jamming it into the small four door vehicle as she swore. It was a chore doing this by herself, but she didn’t want to leave anything. Once she jammed her last bag of clothes and her laptop into her car, she turned to the office and took her key to them. Knowing that they would do a walk through and give her the deposit back.
Once the inspection of her apartment had finished she got into her car and looked down at her phone. She felt the need to message Negan goodbye, but then changed her mind.
Starting her car she began her two hour drive to her mother’s house in Atlanta. The same damn way that the bus took her a handful of months ago. She turned her radio up as she made her way to the highway to leave town.
Victoria sighed as she hit a stoplight on her way out of town. She rolled her eyes as she looked out her window. There Negan was helping Lucille into a doctor's office, more specifically a cancer doctor. His eyes locked with hers as she pulled forward as the light changed. Taking a shaky breath, she cut through the intersection and made her way out of town.
Her mind wandered as she drove down the freeway towards her mothers. She knew her sister, Erika would be happy to see her, but she didn’t know how her step brother Draven would take the news of her coming back.
Draven was her father’s first child from his first marriage and he really didn’t like his new step mother. Before she moved he did show some hostility towards her due to siding with her mother, but she hoped he had grown out of that. Or at least stopped being a dick about everything.
Time seemed to slip by her quickly as she saw the city of Atlanta come into view. She sighed as she took an exit to swing her into the city from the freeway. The buildings whipped by as her phone chimed. Ignoring it she pulled onto the main street of the town, heading to her mother’s house with no other thought on her mind.
Her mother’s house sat on a quiet block not far from the college that accepted her. Smiling, she pulled into the drive, feeling as if she could start over if the hole in her heart would heal.
Victoria pulled her keys from the car, grabbing up her phone and purse. Taking a deep breath she got out of the car and started for the door. Raising her hand, she knocked on the door and waited.
A few moments later the door opened. A shorter, blonde girl with green eyes opened the door and let out a squeal of excitement. “Oh my god, Tori!” She flung her arms around her. “No one told me you were coming!”
“Hey, Erika.” She smiled as she wrapped her arms around her little sister. “I thought mom would have told you I was coming home.”
Erika pulled back and arched an eyebrow, “you’re staying?”
“Yeah.” She chuckled as they entered the house.
Erika closed the door and gave her sister a puzzled look, “I thought you were seeing someone there? At least that’s what mom said.”
“We broke up.” Victoria bit her lip as she sat her purse down.
“Oh, damn. I’m sorry, sis.” She looked up the set of stairs off the side of the living room. “Hey, Mom! Victoria’s here.”
She heard her mother scramble to get to the stairs and come down, “Vicky! I wasn’t expecting you for another day or so.”
“I couldn't stand being there any longer. Plus I start the new college next week.” She took a breath, shoving her cell phone into her pocket after seeing the notification of who messaged her. “I wanted some time to catch up with the family before I move to the campus.”
“So, you're taking the dorm we talked about?” Her mother asked as she moved from the living room to the kitchen.
“Yeah, it would be easier, plus with the whole family being here it would give us all a little more space.” Victoria followed her mother.
“Don’t worry about it. Draven is threatening to move out.” She shook her head as she put some coffee on.
Victoria rolled her eyes. “Are you two still at each other?”
“When aren’t they?” Erika chimed in as she grabbed a soda from the fridge.
“What’s his deal now? And shouldn’t he have his own place? He’s, what, seven years older than me?” Victoria asked as she shook her head.
Erika laughed as she popped the can open, “he sure doesn’t act like it.”
“Erika!” Their mom exclaimed, “he’s just having a hard time finding his place in this world.” She pulled down a pair of coffee cups and poured them some coffee. “I cleaned out the spare room if you wanna store some of your things there until you go to college.”
“Thanks mom.” She smiled as she took the coffee from her. “I should start bringing my stuff in before someone pilfers my car.”
She smiled over her coffee cup, “that sounds like a good idea. Erika, how about you help your sister?”
Erika sat her soda down and walked to the door with Victoria. “So what happened with this guy?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.” Victoria shrugged as she stepped out of the house and went to her car. Grabbing a few of her bags and heading back inside with her sister.
“Must have been messy.” She looked over to Victoria as she carried her bags up the stairs, “I’m sorry. Men are dicks.”
Victoria laughed and rolled her eyes, “he wasn’t. It was just not the right time.” She followed her sister into the spare room with a laugh, “so, mom calls my old room the spare room?”
“Yeah.” Erika chuckled as she dropped her bags on the bed. “She hasn't let too many people in here since you left.” She turned to head back out to get more of her sister's things.
Victoria took the time to pull her phone out and see what the message said.
“I saw you leaving town. Be safe out there, doll. Love, Negan.”
Victoria shook her head as she jammed her phone back into her pocket. She smiled a bit knowing that he did still have love for her, but she knew it wouldn’t work out. Not now at least.
Is It Legal to Construct a Container House in Australia? State-by-State Guide
Container House Australia is increasingly becoming a viable alternative for anyone looking for cost-effective and flexible living solutions. Land to construct these houses is being sought after by many, but legally, rules differ. Familiarizing yourself with your council laws is the first step before constructing a container home.
Each state in Australia has a different approach to container homes. All the building laws, permits, and zoning regulations of your state need to be complied with. Here is a sampling of regulations from each state.
New South Wales (NSW)
Container House Australia NSW projects have to comply with strict council approvals. A container home is considered a dwelling and has to adhere to the Building Code of Australia. You will need to apply for Development Approval (DA) and Construction Certificate (CC). Country areas have more lenient zoning, but regulations still exist.
Get in touch with your local council to see whether your land zoning allows for a container home. Bushfire zones and flood zones tend to require additional reports and clearances.
Victoria
Victoria permits container homes, but they have to satisfy planning and building regulations. In most councils, you'll require a planning permit before installation. The home will need to satisfy energy ratings, drainage regulations, and minimum dimensions.
In rural areas, the procedure might be simpler, particularly for temporary houses. However, it is always beneficial to consult the councils beforehand.
Queensland
Queensland accommodates adaptable housing, and most people prefer to Buy Container House designs for temporary or long-term residences. Approvals are simpler to obtain for rural areas. You'll still require a building permit and must adhere to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) specifications.
You might also require engineer certification to ensure your home is up to wind ratings and building safety regulations. Fire safety, plumbing, and insulation also need council inspections.
South Australia
Container homes are permitted in South Australia with the proper permits. If you're building a Container House Australia here, you need to comply with the provisions of the Planning and Design Code.
Approval involves structural certification, submission of the site plan, and conformity with energy requirements. The majority of councils request further information regarding access, water supply, and sewage.
Western Australia
Western Australia necessitates a Development Application (DA) and building permit for residential buildings, including houses made of containers. The procedure entails planning approvals and conformity with the Building Code.
The regulations can differ in remote areas. Nonetheless, health, safety, and sustainability inspections are a requirement. Noise insulation and heat management reports are commonly sought by councils because of unfavourable climate conditions.
Tasmania
Local councils in Tasmania have been known to encourage innovative housing like container houses. You will still require a planning permit and building approval. Your container house must be compliant with health, fire, and structure codes.
You will need to supply documentation for waste systems, electricity supply, and stormwater drainage. Temporary houses might be simpler to get approved for, particularly for off-grid living.
Northern Territory
Container homes are permitted in the Northern Territory, but Development Consent is needed in most areas. You will need to submit a detailed building plan and site plan. There are fewer regulations in rural blocks, yet health and building safety remain.
You might require termite protection, water use, and sanitation reports. Consult the Development Assessment Services before commencing your build.
Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
The ACT permits container homes in the Territory Plan. You will need to provide plans demonstrating how your build will be compliant with all code provisions. Energy efficiency, safety, and access regulations are closely regulated.
Your container home cannot affect neighbouring properties or violate any local planning regulations. Always confirm with Access Canberra for the most current information.
Container House Australia regulations differ from place to place, yet with proper permits, container houses are lawful nationwide. Individuals who Buy Container House modules have to verify zoning, safety, and structural codes before installation. Legal counsel and council assistance will ensure a seamless process.
Expert Land Capability Assessments for Commercial Development in Victoria
In the world of property development, especially in rural or semi-rural Victoria, understanding the land's capacity to handle onsite wastewater treatment is critical. This is where Victorian Septic Land Capability Assessments comes in. Specialising in Commercial Land Capability Assessments, the company ensures that developers meet local council regulations while optimising the safety, sustainability, and cost-efficiency of their projects.
What Are Commercial Land Capability Assessments (LCA)?
A Land Capability Assessment (LCA) is a comprehensive scientific analysis of a site’s suitability for wastewater disposal via septic systems. For commercial developments, such assessments are even more crucial due to higher occupancy levels and waste generation compared to residential properties.
An LCA typically evaluates:
Soil permeability and drainage
Site slope and topography
Groundwater levels
Vegetation cover
Climate and rainfall data
Potential environmental impacts
With these insights, developers can plan onsite wastewater treatment systems that are efficient and compliant with the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) Victoria standards.
Why Commercial Projects Need Professional LCAs
Commercial developments, such as cafes, schools, caravan parks, aged care homes, and industrial units, place a significant load on wastewater systems. Without proper assessment, the risk of system failure, contamination, and non-compliance increases drastically.
At Victorian Septic Land Capability Assessments, the focus is on:
Ensuring regulatory compliance
Reducing long-term infrastructure costs
Avoiding costly redesigns and delays
Supporting sustainability through responsible wastewater management
Our LCAs are detailed, site-specific, and designed to help businesses gain faster council approval for building permits and septic system installation.
The Process: How We Conduct LCAs
Our team follows a structured process for every Commercial Land Capability Assessment:
Initial Consultation: Understanding the nature of the proposed development and the expected wastewater load.
Site Investigation: Conducting soil sampling and onsite inspections to evaluate physical and environmental characteristics.
Laboratory Testing: Analyzing soil properties like texture, structure, permeability, and dispersibility.
Report Preparation: Creating a comprehensive LCA report that includes system design recommendations, management plans, and maps.
Submission to Council: Assisting clients in submitting reports to the local council to support planning and building approvals.
Understanding LCA Cost in Victoria
The LCA Cost for a commercial property depends on several factors, including:
Site size and complexity
Accessibility and location
Number of wastewater systems required
Local council requirements
Depth and number of soil tests
On average, LCA costs in Victoria for commercial developments range from $2,000 to $6,000. At Victorian Septic Land Capability Assessments, we offer competitive pricing tailored to your site’s specific needs. Our goal is to deliver exceptional value while ensuring your project meets all regulatory and environmental expectations.
Everything You Need to Know About Getting a Pergola Building Permit in Victoria
Pergola is a beautiful outdoor feature with more advantages than just beauty, and it increases property value, provides shade, and beauty to a house. However, you should know the legal aspects before you set up construction. In Victoria, there are several steps that need to be undertaken in order to guarantee that your structure is safe, compliant and approved, the first step is the acquisition of the right Pergola Building Permit Victoria. This is where the Prime Drafting comes in, to make homeowners and builders go through the process confidently.
Why Do You Need a Pergola Building Permit in Victoria?
Most people who have built a little pergola above their house in Victoria are flabbergasted as they make basic discoveries that it might need a building permit. A permit system has been introduced to enable the construction of safe structures and comply with the local building technologies. A Pergola Building Permit Victoria ensures that your plans of design and construct applications are in line with all the safety measures and zoning requirements.
You may need a permit for your pergola if:
It is attached to your home.
It is over a certain height (usually over 3 meters).
It has a roof or permanent covering.
It is located close to property boundaries or easements.
Not getting the right Pergola Building Permit Victoria may attract fines, stop-notices, or even having to pull it down. The better thing to do, rather than make such expensive mistakes is to encounter professional drafting services such as Prime Drafting.
What Does the Process Involve?
Even before considering applying to a Pergola Building Permit in Victoria, you have a few steps to follow and prior knowledge of the procedure can make you plan your project with greater efficiency.
Design and Drafting: The first step is creating accurate, detailed plans of your pergola. These plans should reflect structural specifications, dimensions, materials, and how the pergola will integrate with your existing property.
Documentation: Alongside your drawings, you’ll need documents such as title deeds, property surveys, and engineering computations (if applicable).
Council Regulations: Every local council has different requirements. Some have strict rules on size, placement, and height. Your project must comply with local zoning laws and building codes.
Permit Submission: Once all documents are ready, they are submitted to a building surveyor or local council for review.
Approval & Construction: If your permit is approved, you can begin construction. Inspections may be conducted during or after the build to ensure compliance.
At Prime Drafting, we guide you through every stage of this process to make sure your application is accurate, complete, and approved as quickly as possible.
How Prime Drafting Can Help
Ensuring that you go through the permit process by yourself is not only confusing but also time-wasting. That is why a service like Prime Drafting with experienced work is really the difference. We are experts in the field of producing clear and compliant with codes season-product-name designs and documentation that is needed to have a successful Pergola Building Permit Victoria application.
Here’s how we support you:
Ducted Heating Heat Exchangers – What are they and what to do when it cracks?
A heat exchanger is a device that transfers heat between two or more fluids. In the context of ducted heating systems, a heat exchanger plays a crucial role in transferring heat from the combustion process to the air that is circulated throughout the building. Here’s a breakdown of what a heat exchanger is and what to do if it cracks:
What is a Heat Exchanger?
A heat exchanger in a ducted heating system is typically a metal component that separates the combustion chamber from the air that flows through the system.
It works by allowing hot gases from combustion to pass through while transferring their heat to the surrounding air without mixing the two streams.
Heat exchangers are used in various applications, including HVAC systems, industrial processes, refrigeration systems, and power generation.
In HVAC systems, heat exchangers are crucial for transferring heat from the heating source (flame) to the air or water that circulates within the system, providing warmth or cooling as needed.
How Does a Heat Exchanger Work?
A heat exchanger works by transferring heat from one medium to another without coming into direct contact. Here’s how it works:
When the heating system is turned on, fuel is burned in a combustion chamber. The heat exchanger absorbs the heat from this combustion process and transfers it to the air passing through the ducts. The heated air is then distributed throughout the building, providing warmth.
Basic Principle:
Heat exchangers operate based on the principle of heat transfer through conduction. Conduction is the transfer of heat between materials that are in direct contact.
Two Fluids:
In a typical heat exchanger, there are two fluids involved: a hot fluid and a cold fluid. The hot fluid is usually from a heat source like combustion gases, steam, or hot water, while the cold fluid is the one being heated or cooled, such as air or water.
Separated Pathways:
The two fluids flow in separate pathways within the heat exchanger. They are kept physically separated to prevent mixing.
Transfer of Heat:
The hot fluid releases its heat to the heat exchanger’s surface, which is usually made of a thermally conductive material like metal. The heat then transfers through the heat exchanger’s surface to the cold fluid without the fluids directly mixing. As a result, the cold fluid gains heat from the hot fluid, while the hot fluid cools down.
What to Do When the Heat Exchanger is Cracked
Reference: Appliance Fixer Gas Safety Check conducted on May 2024 in Chadstone, Victoria
If your heating technician confirms that your heat exchanger is cracked, the heat exchanger either needs to be monitored (small cracks), replaced (larger cracks) or the heater replaced entirely (larger cracks and older unit).
Monitor Heat Exchanger
Monitoring a heat exchanger is a temporary solution, typically only applicable for small cracks. We usually recommend replacing the heat exchanger as the best course of action to ensure long-term safety and efficiency. Monitoring is approved only if the unit does not expel carbon monoxide, as even small amounts can be hazardous. It’s important to note that our carbon monoxide tests last only 10 minutes, while heaters often run for hours or days, potentially leading to false negative readings.
For this reason, regular and thorough inspections by a qualified technician are essential. If any signs of deterioration or increased emissions are detected, immediate action should be taken to repair or replace the heat exchanger to prevent health risks and ensure the heating system operates correctly. Always prioritise safety by following professional advice and keeping up with routine maintenance checks.
Replacing the Heat Exchanger:
If the rest of your ducted heater is in good condition and the technician determines that only the heat exchanger needs replacement, they will proceed with this targeted repair.
The technician will order the appropriate replacement part based on the specifications of your heating system.
Once the new heat exchanger is available, the technician will install it following manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
Replacing the Ducted Heater:
In some cases, especially if your ducted heater is older or if there are other significant issues aside from the cracked heat exchanger, your technician might recommend replacing the entire ducted heater.
This decision could be influenced by factors such as the availability of replacement parts, the overall condition of the system, and cost-effectiveness.
If a replacement is advised, discuss your options with the technician. They can provide recommendations based on your heating needs, budget, and the available models on the market.
Conclusion
In conclusion, addressing a cracked heat exchanger in your ducted heating system requires prompt action and professional intervention. Upon detecting such a problem, immediately turn off the heating system, ventilate the area, and contact a qualified HVAC technician.
Depending on the extent of the damage and the overall condition of your heating system, the technician may recommend replacing the heat exchanger or, in some cases, the entire ducted heater. By following their guidance and prioritising safety, you can ensure the efficient and safe operation of your heating system while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment for your home or building.
