Saw the tier list, I would love If you elborated on Sierra as I too love her and think she's fun and loved her friendship with Heather (yes I consider it friendship)

Yay let's go i got asked to elaborate!!!

Sierra's definitely one of the first characters that grew on me thanks to participating in the fandom; she has one of the most interesting premises in the entire first generation cast, that of a super dedicated fangirl who knows everything about everyone, and seeing people play with it in fan works is really fun!

Her personality's great for one, she's passionate and incredibly enthusiastic but also very socially awkward. She's very knowledgeable about her interests, and she's generally just very relatable to me?? Her hobbies are (mostly) internet centered and she's so excitable and fun and lonely and talented, she's got so many little interesting things about her!

Like, even in her delivery or lines or even animation sometimes! Her voice actress does an amazing job with her performance to the point even her crying sounds good??? How do you do that??? Also like look at this. She's adorable. And she's actually funny.

Some of my favorite headcanons regarding her are:

her being autistic (or generally just neurodivergent), mostly thanks to her fixation on Total Drama and just. Her everything. She's stimming in that GIF i don't think i could make it more obvious if i tried

Her being aromantic, as i read her crush on Cody as being one she picked herself out of the cast of Total Drama; he's a nerdy guy so there's the relatability, part of a popular boyband so he's unobtainable and would read as a more "normal" crush to have (and she could probably find like-minded folks online), and she's developped a pretty big parasocial attachment to all the cast thanks to knowing so much about them. She's isolated enough to not have much of a reference point for how romantic feelings operate for most people and i already headcanon her as neurodivergent which wouldn't help. She really seems like the type that would mistake platonic appreciation for a close friend as romantic attraction or on the flipside just. Not knowing what to picture in a romantic relationship yes im projecting shush

Her more specific hobbies she got into to get more positive attention from others or generally just as something to do with her time pre TD obsession; for instance i think she's a huge fan of kandi bracelets, and the culture surrounding them she was exposed to online. I also think she'd have an interest in different dance styles since she already knows German Slap dancing. Also stem. Specifically mechanics and physics.

She'd totally be into ARGs or Lost Media searches, or just any kind of Internet puzzle. She's clearly good at doing research, i say she'd love helping solve an internet mystery if it's related to one of her passions!

Rerailing back to her character for a second, i wish the series used her knowledge on the show and the contestants more! It's set up early on that she dislikes Alejandro, and in an early episode she tries taking advantage of Heather trying to manipulate her by pretending to fall for it; heck, in the very next episode when Heather talks strategy, Sierra actually plays along! Sierra's also VERY physically strong, like she's one of the most athletic Total Drama characters period. She's an absolute powerhouse and i find it really sad that the Cody obsession kinda took over that.

You specifically mention her friendship with Heather and like!!! I get the heatherra heads, i see the vision there's totally something there! Honestly wish they tried pulling an alliance plotline between the two that lasted longer than two or three episodes because they bounce off eachother so well!

Neither of them have very good social skills and neither of them seem very aware of this, but they express this in different ways; Heather pushes people away, she's mean, she's got sharp edges and she's not hiding from them, she's not easily vulnerable and when she is it's strategic; she was raised on superficiality and it shows. Meanwhile, Sierra's overly friendly, she's talkative, cheerful and seemingly naive, she seems far more interested in others than herself, but she's still strategic. [it's a small thing i noticed, when she reveals something about her family on the show it's usually because a challenge prompts it] Point is, they contrast in their attitudes, but are both intelligent and aware of the game they're playing. I love the idea of them falling into a friendship via alliance, Sierra could actually get to know another contestant as an actual person and not via obsessive research, and Heather could form an actual friendship with someone who accepts her, nerdy interests in all. And they'd 100% call eachother out on their respective bullshit if needed, like actually

Back on topic, i think an interesting thing about Sierra in TDAS is that out of the first gen cast, she's the one who connects the most with the roti guys. Granted, most of her teammates are from the second generation, and the only one that aren't either really doesn't like her or are Lindsay and get eliminated one episode in.

But! she seems to get along with them at first, which is very different from her first impression with the first gen cast which was negative leaning neutral at best. She befriends Sam and Cameron (at first), and she says Svetlana's her favorite alter, and i bet she'd get along with Zoey and Mike too!

Now on the topic of her canon plotline... i do actually have something to say, and i only thought of it while writing this post.

i'll preface this analysis im about to do by saying that i haven't watched All-Stars. All of this is going to be second hand info i've learned by looking at the wiki and reading other people's thoughts, so i may be off base at a couple points, HOWEVER.

I think that while her plotline during TDAS is dogshit and an attempt to do the World Tour running gag again but worse, there is something interesting set up here: how the Cody hallucination starts. Cameron is mostly victim to it, but she does just hallucinate her entire team as cody at one point (after prompting by Sam to cheer herself up). Im mostly going to focus on the Cameron bit, but... The hallucinations start when she's actually befriended Cameron.

I don't think this comes out of nowhere, as Cody and Sierra were friends at that point in time after all. And while the hallucinating bit is uh. Concerning and a weird decision. That says alot about this girl's social life AND her familial situation overall if being friendly to her is equated to being the one guy she's obsessed with.

Her mother (and possibly Grandparents, she does say she's a "third generation Chris scholar in Celebrity Manhunt) is completely obsessed with Chris Mclean, and her knowing all about Chris's career and liking him, while it's only relevant for one or two episodes, definitely comes from that. Her mom has a fucking SHRINE dedicated to the man, there's no way part of Sierra's interest in Chris doesn't at least partially come from her!

I generally think Sierra's neglected by her parents. She's super online and seemingly super lonely (like. she says herself at one point that she didn't make any friends at school), so there's a possibility that her friendship with Cody off the show was the first actual friendship she had. Being obsessed with the person you like was her normal for almost all her life, is it really a surprise that once she'd lost her other source of comfort (internet access) on a show as stressful as Total Drama, that her brain would react like this? Ok, maybe not with the hallucinations. BUT MY STATEMENT STILL STANDS, that if we're taking canon's decisions into account, her plotline in tdas doesn't come out of nowhere.

I mean it's also due to the writters apparently trying their hardest to not write Sierra as a person on her own and needing to shove Cody into it because surprise surprise he was planned to be on All-Stars but got cut from the season and im convinced the Sierra plotline was a remnant of that draft but this isn't about him and it still sucks anyways what was i talking about

IN SUMMARY: Uh i like Sierra. Literally me. I don't know where i was going with this

The first time SAM MONROE held Vinnie, he nearly dropped him. Not on purpose, obviously. But no one prepared him for how small newborns were, how fragile they felt in arms. His hands were too big, too clumsy, too rough for something this tiny, this innocent.

Now, a few weeks in, Sam had developed a system. He called it The Forearm Hold; it wasn’t something he learned from a book or a video. It was pure survival instinct. Because between school, exhaustion, and his mom breathing down on his neck, Sam had to figure out how to function with a newborn attached to him 24/7.

So, Vinnie lived on Sam’s forearm.

Right now, Sam was standing in the kitchen, trying to make a sandwich one-handed, because his other arm was occupied with a whole-ass baby. Vinnie was curled up against his forearm, warm and soft, tiny bitty fingers gripping Sam’s pinky like it was the most important thing for him right now. Physical contact. His breaths were slow and even, making little newborn snuffles against Sam’s sleeve.

Sam sighed, shaking the knife slightly to get more peanut butter onto the bread. “Dude, you could at least help,” he muttered, glancing down at Vinnie’s scrunched-up face. “Lazy.” vinnie let out a little yawn. Didn’t even open his eyes.

Sam rolled his eyes but adjusted his grip slightly, making sure Vinnie was still snug against his arm before grabbing the second piece of bread.

His mom walked in, stopping short at the sight of him. “Sam.”

“What.”

“Hold him properly.”

Sam scoffed. “I am holding him properly.”

His mother just sighed, all tired of dealing with the teenager drama. She muttered something about Sam having to be responsible, and asked one more time. Sam sighed dramatically but shifted his arm slightly, cradling Vinnie a little closer to his chest. His mom still didn’t look convinced, but she must’ve decided to pick her battles because she just shook her head and walked off.

Vinnie, completely unaware of the discourse about his prime real estate sleeping spot, made a tiny sound, smacking his lips before settling back down.

Sam glanced down at him, exhaling through his nose. “You’re so weird, man.”

A few hours passed, and Sam was sitting on the couch, controller in one hand, baby in the other, because of course Vinnie was still glued to him. His newborn-sized leech. Vinnie was tucked up against his arm, face squished slightly, looking like a tiny, warm potato with a nose and a much drooling mouth. Sam was half-focused on his game when Vinnie let out the softest little sigh, wiggling slightly before settling back down.

Sam glanced at him, feeling something tighten in his chest. He nudged Vinnie’s tiny head with his thumb, barely touching his soft, soft hair. “Aight, fine,” he muttered. “You’re cool, I guess.” Vinnie didn’t respond. Obviously. Yet somehow, Sam knew he heard him anyway. He knew his little guy was more intelligent than he seemed to be.

✨ firstly, thank you 😊 i know i arrived out of nowhere on this fandom scene like, what... 6 weeks ago?! despite having been a fan of R&S for ages, i've only ever appreciated on my own and not been in 'fandom'... so although i have way fewer stories of interactions and i've never been to the BFI 😭, i've never been made to feel like a lesser fan or unworthy somehow, and it's not felt like anything is gatekept. it's only been finding lovely people who appreciate other lovely people making lovely things and everyone has been immediately so open and welcoming 🤗

🚪 when we were stood outside the number 9 door last night just feeling the weight of the last few months now being over, it really was like finding your people 🌟

🙏 i'm scared i'll miss people but i'll try - @vagueeyes for spending the best part of 24h with me and traipsing around covent garden before the show where we discussed CAT bag discourse at length, @donotbelasagne for being a viewing partner technically twice now, @silverview for bringing us all together as our stage door lucky charm, @spcvarney and @varneysfangs for letting me live your previous r experiences vicariously and for being generally lovely , @misskite for sharing your unfathomable amount of R&S content, and @wintersoulwitch for inspiring me to write anything on tumblr at all without immediately dismissing it in my head as garbage. i hope i made up for the Great Twickets War of 2025 through my official ticket dealership 🙇‍♀️

but also EVERYONE that has ever interacted with any of my posts and made me feel less insane and more understood... this goes for you all as well ❤️

🌸 i actually wrote R&S an enormously soppy letter earlier in the run which i gave to them on my second viewing (and yep you guessed it, it was steve that took my gift bag)... who knows if they actually read it, but in any case it was very cathartic to write!!

i included a quote from a raymond carver short story in it (i know at least steve knows carver, because he mentions So Much Water So Close To Home (oh wow, where else have i heard that.....) in the commentary for la couchette). i included it only because i thought it captured the experience of stage/fright, and so much else of what they've created, much better than i could - the suspension of everyone in the worlds that they've created, and especially for stage/fright, the magic of live theatre...

I could hear my heart beating. I could hear everyone's heart. I could hear the human noise we sat there making, not one of us moving, not even when the room went dark. - What We Talk about When We Talk about Love

(it also gave me a thrill that about five lines before this, there's a line of dialogue in the story that is word for word - "I'll put out some cheese and crackers". 🤯)

💖 all to say that everything that we love or appreciate is often the passion project of a single person or couple of people. i am genuinely feeling a bit sad today but there is the tour to look forward to even though it feels AGES away..., but i've got a play/episode/screenplay that's sat in my writer's bottom drawer for nearly 10 years that maybe i can use the next 5 months to do something with. there's also a ton more posts i want to make about in9 and stage/fright and the experience of live theatre and fandom in general so hopefully they'll get written at some point too!! so thank you to R&S for getting me to the point of picking up a pen again 💜

Hello, pumpkins! This is the second post in a thread of posts I'm making! You can find the first post here, I accidentally posted it to my alt account but the rest of the posts will be posted on this page. I also want to preface this by saying that not everything I'm saying here is going to apply to everyone and each and every person who regresses or dreams will follow these traits and stuff!

Okay, now to the post!

Traits and Behaviors!

☠︎︎This is about the time that babies start to get up and play around, small jumps, walking, bouncing and maybe even some small sprints

☠︎︎Babies this age are starting to like playing with other babies and parallel play could be really fun at this age, they may have trouble sharing though so make sure to have enough eye grabbing toys for all the babies

☠︎︎This is also the age where babies may start to throw more tantrums and have bigger feeling, they naturally want to test the boundaries at this age and they don't like being told no. They're also going to be a bit more bossy and want their way.

☠︎︎Since this is the time they're starting to have bigger mood swings and test the boundaries, that may result in having big reactions which may be aggressive, they may hit, yell, throw tantrums or even hurt themselves to try and cope with their big emotions

☠︎︎They may mostly use hand gestures but they're starting to babble a lot more and mimic language

Activities to do With Your Baby

☠︎︎This is a great age to play a lot of simple puzzle games and games to practice motor skills, patty cake is a great game to play with your baby and so is playing with toys like stacking blocks and ring-stack toys

☠︎︎Pretend play, these babies are growing up fast! They want to be just like cg. Playing dolls and stuffed animals, putting them to bed and feeding them is a great way to spend time with your baby

☠︎︎This is a great time for parallel play, though babies won't always feel interested or know how to play together, they still love to interact with each other and play together to some degree and parallel play is a great fun for babies this age

☠︎︎New textures and sounds are extremely interesting to babies in their two's! Playing with new textures like sand, slime, dirt and more can be super fun for these babies!

Foods and Recipes

These tinies are starting their food journey, they're starting to upgrade from baby foods and apple sauce to solid fruits and hard cereals!

This is one of those things that's very individualized to each regressor! I can tell you what this age range usually likes to snack on but you should ask your tiny what they like either way.

Babies in their two's are starting their palate expanding journey, usually it's best to stay away from super strong flavors and stick to mild and bland flavors. Younger taste buds are much stronger than adult taste buds so when your regressor was a bio baby, they most-likely had blander foods so giving them some mild and bland snacks can be a comforting factor t their baby space

Shows and Movies

Again, this is one of those things that are super individualized to each and every baby! So still be sure to ask your baby what they like to watch either way! Some shows and movies two-year-olds like to watch are

You can still find some amazing shows and mov.ies on places like Netflix, Pbs kids, nickelodeon, and more!

Potty Time for the Terrible Twos

Generally, kiddos are using the potty on their own anywhere from 1.5 - 3 years old but that doesn't mean that kiddos older or younger may deviate from that. There's good info Here about how to properly diaper someone and what products to use

This is also a great video on how to diaper yourself if you're a baby who does their own diapy changes.

Know Your Baby

You're going to want to know and talk to your regressor before they regress with you! The only way you'll be happy with each other is talking about boundaries and the best way to cat or to each other's needs beforehand. Having the awkward conversations are hard but necessary

Growing up, I never had it with Eggs. Always just matzoh and butter. I've made it with eggs as an adult a few time, but maybe its the childhood nostalgia but it's just better with no eggs.

Around pesach I will dig this fucking discourse up and force everyone to make it with no eggs at least once.

Matzoh brei is supposed to be a buttery heart attack. Plus, anyway, removing eggs makes it less calories, so there we go, new health food! (This is a joke, I know that's not how you determine how healthy a food is)
