Why do we need to answer this question? Why I have to write this paper? Because

In my previous paper I have provided a definition for (The Matter Nature) and (How Is The Matter Created?) but I have written NO definition about the matter Mass and this is strange to provide a definition of the matter without a definition for the matter mass- that's why this paper is written –

firstly let's remember shortly the matter 4 features

Planet Matter Formation And Nature

I- Planet Diameter Is Created As A Function In Its Velocity

Planet motion is defined before this planet creation

Planet is created in its orbit and from this orbit energy

II- Matter Is Created In Pairs And No Single Matter Can Be Created

These are the four features I have discussed and proved in my previous paper- and No definition of Mass is in it- for that- I write this paper to define the Planet Mass

Planet Mass Definition Problem  

The problem is (The Mass definition depends on unknown concepts by the physics book)

If we review the matter four features we will see that many of them depend on unknown concepts by the physics book- for example- feature No .(II) tells the matter is created in pairs – this is unknown concept by the physics book and I have to prove it, for that I use the experiment of Gamma ray (1.2 Mev) from which electron and position are created-and also-I use the creation system which produces male and female- based on this data- I suppose (the matter is created in pairs and no single matter can be created) for that I provide proves by the planets data to prove this hypothesis where planet velocity and diameter analysis prove the planets are created in pairs and no single planet can be created-

Planet Mass definition depends on many similar unknown concepts–the proves details will cause chaos for the respectful reader- shortly- the correct action is to put Planet mass definition in the end of the paper after all hypotheses and proves- but- that force to put the matter definition without the mass definition

The article tells the gravitational waves can move by speed of light and can produce a light beam- NOT all gravitational waves move by speed of light but some of them only- that proves the waves are accelerated- also we know the gravitational wave velocity is 205.8 km/s and this is the original velocity of the waves before any acceleration- the motion by speed of light can be done only by the waves acceleration

Notice -If the gravitational waves are produced by the gravitational field the waves speed should be equal for all- means- all waves should move by speed of light (because the article found some of them move by speed of light) – that all is not correct- the waves are produced by the planets motions and the waves move by the planets motions velocities total (205.8 km/s) and the waves speed is accelerated by the reflection of these waves– for that- some waves move by low velocity (205.8 km/s) and some waves can move by speed of light  (C=300000 km/s)

The gravitational waves move by speed (205.8 km/s) in the orbits of Pluto, Neptune and Uranus- The acceleration is done in Saturn Orbit – means- the gravitational waves move in Saturn orbit by speed of light (C=300000 km/s) and the waves pass all planets orbits by this speed from Saturn till reach to Venus and Venus reflected the waves to Mars and made the speed of light to be accelerated and squared (C^2)

The acceleration process depends on the rate of time use- for example

The whole machine depends on the sun point of space- the sun point is a stationary point and for that all planets motions (and waves motions) are done relative the sun point of space- shortly- the planets motions produce energies and these energies are unified into one wave (the gravitational wave) and this unified energy is accumulated during a period of time till be a massive energy and this massive energy causes high speed motion for the gravitational waves but this high speed motion is done relative to the sun point of space because all motions are done relative to it

Why Is NOT Planet Mass Increased Gradually For Ever?

The planets motions energies total is accumulated to produce The Sun Rays –

(the stored energy is used to accelerate the gravitational waves till move by speed of light and create the value C^2 =squared speed of light from which the light beam can be created)-

The gravitational waves move by speed of light based on the rate of time  (1=1461)

Means- (one second of the Sun clock = 1461 seconds of the gravitational wave clock)

The gravitational waves move by (205.8 km/s) (relative to all planets) and during 1461 seconds the waves move 300000 km BUT the sun clock does NOT see the period 1461 seconds but sees only (One Second)- for that- the gravitational waves move by speed of light (C=300000 km/s) relative to the sun

The light beam is created by the value (C^2 = Squared Speed Of Light)

Now- the rate (1=1461) enables the waves to move by speed of light(C=300000 km/s) and to move by (C^2 = Squared Speed Of Light) we need ((1)^2= (1461)^2) which means (1= 1461^2= 2134521)

(one second of the Sun clock = 2134521 seconds of the gravitational wave clock)

By this rate can the light beam be created – and this rate of time is provided by the planets masses- this is the role of planet mass because it provides the required rate of time by which the sun rays can be created – (please note – this is a great rate of time which means it stores massive amount of energy- and this is the fact- because this massive amount of energy is stored in the planets masses)

We know planet orbital inclination is used as a rate of time- here we see the required rate (1461^2=2134521) is produced by the rate of masses between Jupiter and Pluto and based on Pluto orbital inclination- it's clear and direct proof for my theory

All planets masses are created by accurate values in proportionality with geometrical rules to cause (Jupiter mass to be 1898 x10^24 kg ) (the greatest mass) and (Pluto mass to be 0.0146 x10^24 kg) (the smallest mass) and by that the rate between them be 130000 and based on Pluto orbital inclination (17.2 deg) the rate (1461^2= 2134521) is produced to enable the Sun Rays Production process to be done

The paper proves the masses are created in proportionality to each other- here- I refer only to the reason of this proportionality-because the machine needs the rate (130000) between the greatest and smallest masses to enable the process to be done

We know- before the sun creation the planets were found and revolving in their orbits around a point in space- and the sun is created on this point of space – why??

Any low velocity is found depending on a rate of time is created with this low velocity- BUT why do we need these low velocities? because

We need to create the stationary point its velocity (1 km/s = Zero approximately)- means- we decrease the motion speed till reach to the stationary point

The motion speed is the speed of light (C=300000 km/s) and we decreased it gradually till reach to the stationary point its velocity (1 km/s = Zero approximately)-

How can we do that?  By The Creation Of The Planets Velocities

Each planet velocity is less than its previous neighbor and the velocity is decreased gradually till reach to Pluto (4.7 km/s) the smallest velocity – now- the sun point velocity is less than Pluto because it's the stationary point its velocity (1 km/s = Zero approximately) 

We see clearly- each planet velocity is decreased with longer orbital distance- means- the sun (velocity) should be found beyond Pluto point-

Shortly- the geometrical design found a necessity for the reflection of the positions and for that- the most fast planet (mercury) is the nearest planet to the sun and most slow planet (Pluto) is the most far one- that shows Pluto position is reflected to the required position by the rule used to decrease the speed till reach to the stationary point- that's why the rate is reflected where - the rate (1=2134521) should be between the sun and Pluto -And - the rate (1=90560) should be between the sun and Mercury

We found that the rate (1=90560) is used between the sun and Pluto

This  dilemma is solved by the planets axial tilts because

Pluto orbital period 90560 days = 176 days (Mercury Day Period) x 511

Where 511 degrees = the planets axial tilts total

The rate of time is useful because it enables to accumulate the planets motions energies during a period of time- understandable- Planet motion energy is small energy and the sun rays is massive energy and that necessitates to accumulate the planets motions energies total during a period of time till be sufficient to produce light beams (the sun rays)-Shortly-if the planets motions don't use rates of time, no massive motion energy can be provided and for that NO enough energy will be found to produce the sun rays-means- No light beam can be created by planet motion energy

The rate of time is created as a planets velocities rate

For example Mercury velocity =1.6 the Earth velocity for that (one hour of Mercury clock = 1.6 hours of the Earth clock)-

But the solar system uses greater rates of time –let's provide examples

Example No. (1) (One Solar Day Of The Sun Clock = 365.25 Solar Days Of The Earth Clock) -By this rate of time– The planets motions energies total for a complete year can be used by the sun in one solar day and that accumulates massive motion energy to be used (notice 1461 days = 365+365+365+366)

The diameter is created depending on the water velocity, pressure, amount and motion angle and many other features of (the moving water)- the moving water creates this whirlpool with diameter 2 meters and as long as the water motion is not changed this diameter will not be changed also- Similar to that, the matter is created from energy and this matter dimensions are defined depending on this energy motion features-

We have two waves move by speed of light (C=300000 km/s) relative to some point – the different velocity between the two waves motions is Zero- how does each wave see the other? each wave will see the other as a particle (matter) because the different velocity between them is (Zero)

The planets move one unified motion relative to the sun- the unified motion speed equal the speed of light (300000 km/s) relative to the sun but the sun point of space is a stationary point its velocity is 1 km/s (=Zero approximately)– by that we have 2 players- the planets unified motion with speed 300000 km/s and the sun point motion with velocity 1 km/s (= Zero approximately)

In some lab a physicist studies a wave- and this wave is sent from the sun and this wave motion velocity = the sun point of space velocity = (Zero approximately)- the physicist stands on the Earth which moves by speed of light (300000 km/s) relative to the sun point of space- for that – the physicist sees himself as matter but sees the wave as a wave -And the physicist studies this wave

Now- as the result for the contact between the physicist and the wave- the wave be belonged to the Erath motion and moves by the Earth speed (300000 km/s) relative to the sun- now the wave is changed into a particle because it moves by speed of light and now the physicist and the wave move by equal velocities and that causes both of them to see each other as matter

Let’s return to the question (Why Do We See The Bright Fringes As Planets?) because the Earth moves by speed of light (C=300000 km/s) and the bright fringes move by speed of light and no difference in velocities between them and for that we see the bright fringes as planets

Young was an outer observer because he was not a part of the light in coherence- but – I'm an inner observer because the coherence of light created bright fringes for the planets and created bright fringes for my body and by that my own body is made of the bright fringes as the planets for that our speeds are equal and we see each other as matters

for that the sent energy from the Sun to the Earth depends on a cycle and that make the life in cycle that causes our lives to depend on short periods cycles

I put in the previous discussion all points I know about planet formation and its nature I tried to create a complete picture about the Matter definition and Nature-

But we should realize that the matter is created because of our eyes- our bodies are made of bright fringes and the planets are made of bright fringes and for that we see the planets as matters- the matter is a picture created based on our (motion features)-

We remember Einstein was standing in the moving train and left a rock to be dropped and Einstein had seen the rock is dropping in a straight line trajectory but the people on platform had seen the rock is dropping in parabola trajectory- Einstein had seen the straight line trajectory by effect of the train motion on his vision- here also- the matter is created because we stand on the moving Earth (which is made of bright fringes) while we have bodies of Bright fringes for that we see the Earth and all planets as matters– shortly- the matter is NOT found in the universe- it's the picture we create by (our motion effect on the coherence of light) because (we have bodies made of bright fringes) and for that- the used rules to define the matter dimensions are used rules to define data in the bright fringes and its interference but we see these bright fringes as matters and for that we consider the matter creation and dimensions are defined depending on these rules

The big bang theory tells (Planet is Created by Random Creation)- but we didn't  understand and wanted to know what does mean (Random Creation)??

The big bang told, for example- Jupiter diameter is created by unknown value and Jupiter is collided many times in its history and these collisions caused Jupiter diameter to be decreased- as a result– Jupiter diameter be (142984 km) and this value is found by random and NO geometrical reason is found behind- this is the big bang concept- BUT- my planet diameter equation disproves that because the equation proves Jupiter diameter is created basically by the value 142984 km and this value is not changed since creation- here we see the fatal error of the big bang concept- because- the concept supposes the change in planet data doesn't effect on its motion- means- if Jupiter diameter is 142984 km or 180000 km that has no effect on Jupiter motion which is wrong logically-   

Also my planet diameter equation proves each planet creation data is belonged to the orbit in which this planet is created (we remember the concept tells planet is created in its orbit and from this orbit energy)- and for that- planet creation data refers to its original orbit even if this planet is migrant from its original orbit- (this fact is proved by many proves- for example Mars diameter equation refers to orbital inclination =5.1 degrees which was Mars orbital inclination in its original orbit– and Neptune diameter equation refers to the orbital inclination 17.2 degrees which is Pluto orbital inclination where Neptune original orbit was Pluto current orbit 5906 mkm)

AND the planets revolve around the sun in the same one direction and for that their motions energies create waves in the space and these waves move perpendicular on the revolution direction (Toward Pluto orbit)

The wave reflection causes to square its velocity – for that the velocity (205.8 km/s) is squared and be (205.8 km/s)^2= 42354 km/s -Means the wave before reflection moves by (205.8 km/s) and after reflection the wave moves by (42354 km/s)

But Lorentz length contraction effect rate causes to increase the distance 42354 km to be (42354 x 7.1 = 300000 km)– means- the speed 42354 km/s is accelerated to be 300000 km/s = C=speed of light by Lorentz length contraction effect – we understand the rate 7.1 causes to contract the distances but here the rate increases the distances because the wave reflection causes to reflect the geometrical effects.

The sun point of space has geometrical features enable to produce the sun rays and that means – the sun rays can be created only in the sun corona and far from the sun NO light beam can be created – let's see the sun geometrical features in following

The solar system space is created by one energy and this energy is provided by one light beam and this light beam moves by speed 1.16 million km per second- the light created all orbits before any planet creation- means-

The light beam with speed 1.16 million km per second created the solar system starting its motion from Mercury orbit toward Pluto orbit- the light created all planets orbits before any planet creation-the orbits are created based on each other- after the light created all orbits and reached to Pluto orbit- the light energy is consumed in the space creation- and the rest energy is found in one light beam its speed is (300000 km/s = the known speed of light)- we understand this is one light beam its speed was 1.16 million km per second in Mercury orbit before the space creation- and its speed be 300000 km/s in Pluto orbit after the space creation as a result for the consumption of the energy in the space creation- 

In Pluto orbit- The light had NO energy to build any more orbits –because- any additional space creation will consume more energy and that will decrease the light speed to be less than 300000 km/s (the known speed of light) – and – No known light moves by speed less than 300000 km/s – means- If the speed is decreased to be less than 300000 km/s (the known speed of light) that would change the light beam energy nature into another type of energy which means the light beam will be perished for that the light couldn't create any more orbits and the light had to return to its origin point (Mercury orbit) passing through all built orbits- this motion didn't cost any energy because the orbits are created already- this analysis tells us- the light with  known speed 300000 km/s can NOT create any space and the space creation needs the speed 1.16 million km per sec

Based on this description- the planets orbits should be created two times which is Not Fact - let's see that

In First time- the original light beam 1.16 mkm/s created all orbits before any planet creation- and the light created each orbit depending on its neighbor and the orbits are created individually in one sequence starting from Mercury to Pluto and this creation of space cause to consume the light energy and that decreased the speed from 1.16 mkm/s to be 300000 km/s (means- by this method the light 300000 km/s is created)  

In Second time:- the light 300000 km/s moved into its past to reach to the original light beam 1.16 mkm/s before any orbit creation- and the meeting is done in the past in Mercury orbit before any orbit creation and the 2 light beams created the coherence of light and the orbits are created by this coherence of light- and by that- the solar system be similar to the interference of Young

In some lab a physicist studies a wave- and this wave is sent from the sun and this wave motion velocity = the sun point of space velocity = (Zero approximately)- the physicist stands on the Earth which moves by speed of light (300000 km/s) relative to the sun point of space- for that – the physicist sees himself as matter but sees the wave as a wave

And the physicist studies this wave

Does Space Creation Need a speed 1.16 million km per second?

One strong proof for that is Neptune orbit analysis - let's explain why

The light 1.16 million km created all planets orbits but NOT Neptune orbit because Neptune original orbit was 5906 mkm (Pluto current orbit)

In that time –

Pluto was The Mercury moon revolved around Mercury and Mars original orbit was between Mercury and Venus with orbital distance 84 mkm and Neptune original orbit was 5906 mkm

A collision is done by Mars caused the planets to migrate- Mars had migrated from its original orbit and collided with Venus and The Earth and reached to its to its current orbit (228 mkm) and Pluto had migrated to the end of the solar system 5906 mkm – And Pluto had collided with Neptune and pushed Neptune out of its orbit and even out of Pluto motion effect for that (Pluto Neptune Distance = Pluto eccentricity distance=1410 mkm)

Understandable Pluto couldn't do such effect because Neptune mass is 6939 times Pluto Mass but Pluto was carrying by very strong wave of energy and the wave pushed Neptune out of its orbit and enabled Pluto to occupy the orbit-

The important news here is that- Neptune be out of its orbit and need a new orbit for itself- this is a dilemma- because the space is created by the speed 1.16 million km per second and the light beam lost its energy already and no longer light with speed 1.16 mkm is available- as we remember- the light with speed  1.16  million km per second created all orbits and lost its energy and the rest energy is a light beam moves by 300000 km/s means the speed 1.16 mkm/s can NOT be provided by the light beam motion-

How can Neptune create an orbit for itself?? How is the orbit (4495 mkm) created?

Neptune used Jupiter motion to build the orbit (4495 mkm) in place of the light beam with speed 1.16 million km per- specifically- Neptune used Jupiter for this process

Shortly- No other planet can do that- only Jupiter can do- because Jupiter moves in Mars rotation period (24.6 h) a distance 1.16 million km and Mercury created the rate of time (one second of the light clock =24.6 hours of Jupiter Clock) by that Jupiter motion during Mars rotation period (24.6 h) be equivalent to the speed of light 1.16 million km per second- that proves the space can created only by the speed 1.16 million km per second-

What's The Time Definition? 

There are two features we know about the time nature- both are created based on the same one reason which is (the matter creation mechanism)

The time is a feature created with the matter- why? let's answer

The matter is created based on a motion in a defined direction- as proved by my planet diameter equation- planet diameter is defined based on this planet velocity- The equation proves clearly that (for example) Jupiter diameter is 142984 km because Jupiter velocity is 13.1 km/s- planet motion is defined before this planet creation and planet diameter definition depend on this motion- this fact tells us the two features of the time

First feature- because the matter is created depending on a defined motion- this motion is found based on a cycle- as all planets motions- for example- the Earth revolves around the sun in 365.25 solar days based on the Earth clock- this is a motion done in a cycle and after 365.25 days this motion will be finished- similar to that- the matter is created depending on a motion in a defined direction and this motion is found based on a cycle- and when this cycle is complete the motion will be finished and the matter will be perished – that's why the time is important- because – on very bad day I will die and by that my age on the Earth will be only 100 years and then I have to have a watch to observe the time- the time is the feature of my body- the feature of the matter around- I'm the temporary player while the universe is the continuous player and I see the universe through my eyes which see only the time of my body-

Second feature- because the matter depends on a motion in a defined direction- that restricted the matter motion on time axis- the matter can't move freely on time axis into the future or into the past as the light motion does- because the matter existence depends on a motion in a defined direction- if the matter moves against this direction the matter will be perished also- for that the matter can't move into the past- but the matter can move only into the future and also by the system is allowable for the matter by this motion based on which the matter is created

Can The Solar System Design Be Greater Than (Young Interference)?  

There are three players in the solar system geometrical design- let's refer to them

The first and second players are the two light beams by which the coherence of light is created and Young interference is produced- the two light beams are the original light beam with speed 1.16 million km per second and the light beam with known speed 300000 km/s – by these two light beams the coherence of light is created in the past as explained before and this coherence of light results are seen in the present and based on this coherence of light the solar system design is produced

The Third Player Is The Sun Point Of Space- which is the stationary point in the solar system- let's explain that in following

The coherence of light produced Young interference and we can imagine the interference as the sea of water- means- the interference is in motion because the light is in motion by nature even if we see the bright and dark fringes don't move from the board but we understand the light is in motion and the interference is in motion also-

The sun point of space is the stationary point in the solar system- its velocity is 1 km/s (= Zero approximately)- and- because the whole interference is in motion and the sun point of space is the only one stationary point in the solar system that means all motions are done relative to the sun point of space

The creation of the sun point of space is done as following

The planets revolve around a point in space (any point in space) and the revolution creates on both sides two equal velocities but the velocities directions are opposite each other- for that- the velocities total is Zero- means- the revolution creates a stationary point in the revolution center- by that- the unique stationary point in the solar system is created- and the sun is created on this stationary point

Please note- Planet velocity is defined based on its orbit and each orbit is comparable with each dark fringe order- as explained before- means- planet velocity is defined based on Young interference-

BUT- planet velocity definition here depends on some rate- means-  (V2= 0.8 V1) as we have seen (Earth velocity 29.8 km/s x 0.8 = 24.1 km/s Mars velocity error 1%)- the fringes don't define any planet velocity value but define the rule (V2= 0.8 V1)

But because the solar system wanted to create a stationary point, the first velocity be 47.4 km/s (Mercury velocity)-

Means – Mercury velocity can be any other value, suppose (90 km/s) and the other planets velocities will be defined based on the rule (V2= 0.8 V1)- but in this case the sun stationary point can NOT be created- the stationary point necessitated Mercury velocity to be 47.4 km/s and based on the rule (V2= 0.8 V1), the system will define 9 planets velocities till reach to Pluto 4.7 km/s

And by that, the 9 planets velocities total will be 205.8 km/s (because I add the Earth moon velocity to the 9 planets velocities total 205.8 km/s = 176 km/s +29.8 km/s)

And the total 205.8 km/s is defined based on the known speed of light (300000 km/s) by the equation (205.8)^2 x 7.1 = 300000 km/s

Shortly the sun point creation is a geometrical tool NOT found in Young Interference and it makes the solar system design greater than Young interference and by that Young interference can be considered as a part of the solar system design because of the effect of the sun point of space on the solar system geometrical design (CONT)

Flour : one of the most important components of daily life, has become extremely scarce, threatening the lives of many, especially in light of the scarcity of available bread.

Cooking gas, which everyone relies on to prepare their meals, has become almost non-existent, forcing families to use alternative methods that may be dangerous, or even cancel some meals.

Life in Gaza is no longer just a daily struggle for survival; it has become a recurring struggle amid dire humanitarian conditions. Many families have been forced to flee their homes due to the ongoing bombardment, finding themselves in overcrowded shelters, with increasing needs for shelter, food, and water.

Hospitals are overflowing with the wounded, many of whom are not receiving adequate treatment. Homes have been destroyed, and thousands of families are forced to live in darkness or under the threat of attack.

Today, we appeal to you to be a source of hope for those still resisting in Gaza. We need your support more than ever. Donations can provide food, medicine, and cooking gas, as well as help rebuild what has been destroyed and provide safe shelter for the displaced.

Don't let our hearts remain alone. Let us be part of the solution together and lend a helping hand to those most in need.

The Nadu Situation

This has become a big topic in the community this week, so I wanted to add my thoughts to the discussion. My focus isn’t on the banning, but on the behind-the-scenes processes that led to it. I’m Head Designer, so I want to focus on the design elements of the situation.

When we make Magic there are a few things we do to try and make it the best it can be. First, we design in what we call an iterative loop. That is, we make something, we playtest it, we get feedback, we make changes on that feedback, and begin the next iteration of the loop. We try to get as many iterative loops in as we can before the set is locked (aka “no more changes”).

No matter where we set that line, there’s a last day to make changes. Moving that line earlier doesn’t change anything other than giving us less iterative loops to improve things. Also, we make lots and lots of last minute changes. The vast majority of them make the game better. I understand there’s more focus on the times we make a mistake, but it represents a truly small percentage of the changes.

Also, whenever we design a card, we ask ourselves, who is this card for? If we’re trying to make game play the best it can be, it helps to understand who will use the card, where they will use it, and what they will do with it. Obviously, in a game as modular as Magic, the players can often zig when we expect them to zag, but in general, this process leads to the best design.

We have two play design teams, one focused on competitive play and one focused on casual play. The competitive play design teams determines which cards they think have a shot at competitive play (remember we’re making predictions as where we think the environment might go,we don’t definitively know; we need to make an environment complex enough as to entertain tens of millions of players). The casual play design team then looks as the cards that don’t play a competitive role to see what casual role they can play.

With that said, let me respond to a few popular lines this week:

“Stop designing for Commander” - The nature of competitive formats is that only so many cards can be relevant. As you start making more competitive relevant cards, they displace the weakest of the existing relevant cards. That’s how a trading card game works. That means that not every card in a set (or even just the rares and mythic rares as the commons and uncommons have a big role making the limited environment work) has a competitive role. As such, we examine how they will play in more casual settings. There’s no reason not to do that. And when you think of casual settings, you are remiss if you don’t consider Commander. It’s the 800-pound gorilla of tabletop play (aka the most played, heavily dominant format). Us considering the casual ramifications of a card that we didn’t feel was competitively viable is not what broke the card. Us missing the interaction with a component of the game we consider broken and have stopped doing (0 cost activations), but still lives on in older formats is the cause.

“Stop making late changes” - Whenever you see an airplane on the news, something bad has happened. It crashed, or caught on fire, or had an emergency landing, or a door fell off. Why do we still make planes? Because planes are pretty useful and what’s being highlighted is the worst element. That focus can lead people to false assumptions. Magic would not be better if we stopped making last changes. A lot *more* broken things would get through (things we caught and changed), and many more cards just wouldn’t be playable. Our process of fixing things up to the last minute does lots and lots of good. Maybe it doesn’t get the focus of the screw ups, but it leads to better design.

“Everything needs to get playtested” - My, and my team’s, job is to take a blank piece of paper and make something that doesn’t exist exist. That’s not an easy thing to do. I believe play design’s job is even harder. They’re trying to make a balanced environment with thousands of moving pieces a year in the future. And if we’re able to solve it on our end, that means the playerbase will crack it in minute one of playing with it. One minute, by the way, is the time it takes the Magic playerbase to play with a set as much as we can. There are tens of millions of you and a handful of us. There simply isn’t time in the day to test everything, so the play design team tests what they think has the highest chance of mattering. They take calculated gambles (based on years of experience) and test the things most likely to cause problems. Will things slip through? There’s no way they can’t. The system is too complex to not miss things.That doesn’t mean we don’t continually improve our processes to lower the chances of mistakes, but nothing we’re going to do can completely eliminate them.

Designing Magic is difficult. Next year is my thirtieth year working on the game, and I think we have the most talented team we’ve ever had. Plus, just as we iterate on the designs in a set, we iterate on design processes of making Magic. How we make Magic today is light years different, and I believe better, than how we made Magic when I started. (”If I have seen further, it’s because I stand on the shoulder of giants.”)

One final thing. I’ve always pushed for transparency in Magic design. No one on the planet has written/spoken about it more than me. I truly believe Magic is better as a game because its players have the insight to understand what we, the people making it, are doing. We do ask for one thing in exchange. Please treat the designers who take the time to share with you the behind-the-scenes workings of Magic design with kindness. We are all human beings with feelings. There’s nothing wrong with feedback, but it can be delivered with common courtesy.

Much has already been said by other transfeminists on the "they hate us all equally" idea that many TME trans people fall back on when trans women speak on the specific ways in which we are targeted, and within the last few days, I've received a number of messages similar to this:

Frankly, I'm not even sure what has spurred this on--and this is the least aggressive and most direct of them--but many of them are not just the standard affair of transmisogynistic slurs and threats, rather they are posed as a defense of not just women, but trans men as well.

I don't believe that it is trans men or transmasculine people sending me these--though of course I could be wrong--so why do they highlight trans men within these messages?

The answer to me is obvious: within the trans man, the transmisogynist sees (correctly) the potential of an ally to their ends. Does the average radicalized transmisogynist look highly upon trans men and treat them with love and respect? I do not think so; these people are driven by disgust and indignation and view transsexuality and self-determination of gender and sex as degenerate, after all.

But motivated reactionaries know, if not understand, the mechanisms through which systems of power operate. For an ideology to be made manifest or maintain its reign, it does not require large segments of a population to be committed ideologues; that segment only needs to be amenable to the ideology and closed off from opposition.

So, while the radicalized transmisogynist is also a general transphobe, they know well that there exists stratification within their out-group and will happily incorporate sub-groups they also see as impure if it benefits their fundamental goal more than it damages it.

I think about early developments of whiteness. Did the 17th century propertied English of Virginia view their European-descended underclass as equals? Of course not. But when it became clear that material solidarity between the European underclass and Black slaves threatened their minority rule and their monopoly over expansion further into Siouan and Algonquin land, the propertied minority identified the essential components of their rule (chattel slavery and displacement of Indians) and became willing to grant privileges to the non-English Europeans so long as it solidified that rule. They codified this stratification into law over the course of the century. The European underclass, though still an underclass, now had a stake in this system. The propertied English had to give something up, but in exchange, they received new allies that allowed their fundamental aims and methods to remain unchanged.

So yes, perhaps the radicalized transmisogynist views the trans man as degenerate, but they understand that trans men have a stake in keeping trans women below them--denying this stratification helps uphold it.

Men who refuse to acknowledge that patriarchy exists still benefit from it and further its existence, regardless of whatever marginalizations they may face. Does patriarchy harm men too? Supposedly so, but only really in some psychic, damage-to-the-soul sort of way. The fundamentals of patriarchy is the positioning of women below men, even within a shared oppression. So to the transmisogynist, an allyship with trans men does not harm their essential aim: running trans women off of the earth.

absolutely no background, just thought it would be funny if censor bars were a thing the characters actually saw and interacted with, and if they treated something absurd like that as if it's completely normal and chill. the fact that it doesn't make sense and doesn't have an explanation is part of the joke.

also, yes, characters read each others' speech bubbles. sound is a specific visual stimulus to them processed as a separate sense much in the same way smell and taste are different to you despite the fact that they are both just chemoreception. reading something and hearing something are virtually identical to them... the actual container of the text dictates whether it's received as sound or written word, imo. Jessie's Commandments read like written word when she says them even though she is saying them out loud because they're in a square container. A book cut into a rounder shape would probably actually seem to produce sound to them. My opinion on this is largely informed by the fact that pictographs can also be used to communicate sound -- meaning that the letters themselves are not the only component of sound. Pictures sound like something to them if they're surrounded by a "sound circle." color and size mediate the qualities of the sound. color probably informs characters of both timbre and pitch based on saturation and luminosity.

Facts about their book world... stuff is made of ink drops for them. they know this as a scientific fact. I believe I called them tinctures... yes, i did.

atoms to them are probably called inklings, made up of various tinctures, and yes they're both shortened to inks--

their world is 2d, but top quantum scientists have observed at least that their world may be 3d in a Z-direction, because chasms resembling paper's microscropic texture has been documented.

there are 2 competing theories about how the universe will end called "the big rip" (the paper fabric of the universe will rip apart under the ever-increasing weight of more inks) and "the printer running out of ink" (things stop existing altogether as ink erodes from the fabric of the universe over time, and isn't replaced). unlike our universe, theirs isn't expanding, so they don't have a solid understanding of what's happening to matter in their universe. big rippers believe inks must be continuously added to the universe, because there had to be spontaneously generated inks at the start of the universe; it agrees with the theory of spontaneous generation of the universe, which the majority of scientists accept as a proven theory. the accepted explanation amongst rippers for a lack of observation of growing ink is that it's happening in deep space, which is completely saturated black. the fabric of their own universe can only actually absorb so much ink leading to pure black -- after that, adding more ink is possible, but you can't observe that more ink has been added, because saturation has already been achieved. adding more ink then warps and weakens fabric of the universe, unobservable to them. it's like their version of dark matter. printer theorists believe that ink is slowly, spontaneously disappearing from the universe, because they can observe the process of ink degradation on the real actual paper they're printed on. this does not necessarily disagree with spontaneous generation, because there was a "nothing" which the universe may return to for them, but it offers little explanation for why ink would be disappearing. opposition to the theory generally argues that the ink observed to be "disappearing" could simply be displaced. to note: they don't see the universe as a story book, they simply refer to the fabric of it as paper due to its resemblance to the texture of paper, from their perspective. it's just like how we call the stuff our universe is made of "fabric" even though we don't generally believe we live on a tapestry.

In a statement shared with The Associated Press, a spokesperson for the M23 rebel group said the town was “liberated.” The Congolese army declined to comment on the situation. The decades long conflict in eastern Congo has produced one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, with over 100 armed groups fighting for control of the mineral-rich area near the border with Rwanda. Many groups are accused of carrying out mass killings, rapes and other human rights violations. The violence has displaced about 7 million people, many beyond the reach of aid. The town of Rubaya holds deposits of tantalum, which is extracted from coltan, a key component in the production of smartphones. It is among the minerals that was named earlier this month in a letter from Congo’s government questioning Apple about the tech company’s knowledge of “blood minerals” being smuggled in its supply chain. “The fall of Rubaya is in a way the embodiment of this systemic plundering,” Ernest Singoma, a civil society activist in Goma, told the AP on Thursday. So why don't you like The Bride in Creature Commandoes?

Oh, I liked The Bride fine. What I didn't like the show's treatment of Frankenstein's Monster, whose misogyny and toxicity with The Bride was essentially invented out of whole cloth and turned into his single character trait for the sake of the story. In the comics the two of them are separated but on reasonably decent terms as coworkers, and he's got his own thing going on. He fills basically the same niche as Hellboy and is, if on aesthetic grounds if nothing else, one of my favorite superheroes, for reasons this cover should make obvious:

By contrast, the show had a sight gag during the "American Wedding" montage where he was shown having thrown in with the Nazis during World War 2 in order to hunt The Bride. Borderline unforgivable to me. No greater character assassination was possible here.

I do want to stress that making him an evil douchebag is a perfectly functional decision in regards to the story they wanted to tell in Creature Commandos regarding toxic masculinity, the bride's agency in the face of men who want to control her, and so on. The pacing was all over the place but thematically the thing was tight, and Frankenstein's butchery was a vital component of that. But they did butcher him. The double-edged sword of Gunn's tendency to elevate D list characters to the spotlight is that he (usually correctly) assumes that their obscurity gives him license to functionally turn them into an OC he can use to do whatever. Sometimes that's basically correct (Polka-Dot Man, Bloodsport, Nina Mazursky) and other times there actually was something worthwhile that got displaced, and if you were one of the five fans of that thing you can just go get fucked. We're never gonna get the deconstructionist psychological death-spiral take on Adrian Chase as Vigilante who ruins his life and kills himself, and now we're never gonna get Seven Soldiers of Victory or Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E.

12th House Musing

The 12H represents the trap of infinity. The fact that something is boundless makes it restrictive. Everything must have opportunity to settle and persevere. The true nature of our soul and existence is actually not possible to actualize in this material state of being.

Try to conceptualize something unbound by physics…exactly. Just like it’s impossible to perceive not existing outside of considering erasure of memories related to you (this conscious existence is literally just a set of memories. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, we just don’t have the instruments to see beyond patterns.

You know how they say the brain thrives off repetition? It’s because organic life is based on sequences. Nothing in this life can fall outside of rules. And the 12th house represents beyond rules that we can imagine. That’s why it feels like a prison. It’s like you being in a dark world and you’re looking at q white hole of pure potential, but it’s hard to conceptualize it’s purpose.

This hole/whole is our soul, and this beautiful endless cycle of being we’re in. We’re trying to understand that essence of what’s going on in this house not by comparing it to other things but…acceptance. Like Aries 12H, they suppress their desire to act impulsively/instinctual to stabilize and secure what we started (Taurus 1H). This is because the value and goal is to connect with something different, to comprehend duality (Gemini 3H). Something can only be different than you if it has something similar to you, and vice versa. What we all have in common is being able to be perceived based on a factor.

Higher dimensional beings can always perceive us because they live in less congruent forms of infinity/existence, but we can’t perceive them unless we loosen our grip on reality and accept not accepting, accepting nothingness and everything at the same time. Which gets you to the state of the meaning of everything is not having meaning. It’s like if you knocked over of box of cereal, do you typically think that where the fallen pieces landed have a specific and inherent meaning? Unless you’re a psychic or oracle, no. We typically don’t think bout things like why a certain rock we accidentally displaced had to fall here and not a centimeter left, or why this particular drop of milk landed here when you were pouring your milk.

In this analysis I prove- Planet is created based on a coherence of light- here- I define planet creation as example for the matter creation generally- and- I prove planet is created by a coherence of light- means- the matter is created by a coherence of light.

(1ST FEATURE)

Planet Is An Intersection Point Between Two Energies- Imagine we have one energy moves in (x-axis direction) and have also another energy moves in (y-axis direction)- the two energies meet each other in One Point which is (an intersection point) – this point is A Planet

This is similar to two ropes or cables or strings are connected together by one knot (or joint)- the knot is connected with both ropes and each rope motion effect on this knot motion direction-

(2nd Example)–If the space is similar to the sea of water- the matter is similar to a whirlpool (vortex) found on the sea page- we understand the whirlpool (vortex) is created by the sea water but it has a distinguish picture from the sea waves and it moves by a different velocity from the sea waves- that explains how the moving energy can effect on the matter creation data- for example- we have a whirlpool (vortex) its diameter is 2 meters- why does this diameter equal= 2 meters? The diameter is created depending on the water velocity, pressure, amount and motion angle and many other features of (the moving water)- the moving water creates this whirlpool with diameter 2 meters and as long as the water motion is not changed this diameter will not be changed also-

Notice we understand the whirlpool (vortex) is found because at least two streams of water meet each other- means- one stream is not enough to create a whirlpool (vortex)– similar to that- one energy is not enough to cause the matter creation but two energies are required to cause the matter creation- because the matter is an intersection point between these two energies-

Why should The Matter be Created In Pairs And No Single Matter Can Be Created?

Let's try to answer

The matter creation needs two energies because the matter is an intersection point between these two energies- means- the matter creation (and planet creation) needs two energies-

In the solar system one of these two energies is a reflected energy- let's explain that

The planets orbits are created before any planet creation-and – all planets orbits are created from the same one energy and each planet orbit has a part of this one energy and this part of energy is the orbit creation reason (because Space is energy)- means- each planet orbit is created depending on a part of this one energy

There's another energy is reflected and passed through all planets orbits – let's give example to explain that

Imagine we have 9 neighbor whirlpools (vortex) on the sea page- suppose one strong wave of water passes through these 9 whirlpools- imagine the water of this strong wave is colored by blue color- because the strong wave passes through the 9 whirlpools we will see that all whirlpools have this blue color in their waters because this strong water wave passes through the 9 whirlpools and creates effects on all of them-

Similar to that- one energy is reflected and passed through all solar planets orbits (before any planet creation)- by this energy each orbit becomes have two energies- which are (1st energy) the orbit energy by which the orbit is created (2nd energy) the reflected energy which is passed through all orbits- by that- each orbit has two energies- now this energy is a reflected energy and the reflection caused the matter to be created in pairs- why??

The energy reflection causes to create complementary values- imagine a light beam is reflected on some mirror- here–we have the original light beam and the reflected light beam- the two light beams are similar in all data but in opposite directions- that tells the energy reflection causes to create the data reflected on each other (and complementary one another)- and the complementary data cause to create the matters in pairs and no single matter can be created-

How can planet matter be created by two energies? By what method this creation can be done? There are three methods can be used

Let's suppose planet is created as a wave? How can the wave be created?

We need two motions perpendicular on each other- means- we need two energies perpendicular on each other- means- by two energies motions a wave can be created and this wave will be a planet - Just we need to suppose that the two energies in each orbit are perpendicular on each other and that will cause to create the planet as a wave 

(Second Method) The Energy Reflection

As explained the energy reflection causes to create the values in pairs (reflected on each other and complementary one another) because the original values produce reflected values and that cause the values to be created in pairs-and that cause the matter to be created in pairs- shortly- the energy reflection is the reason to create the matter in pairs- that causes planets data to be created in pairs complementary one another- (as proved by planet velocity definition by the rule v1v2=constant= 322)

(Third Method) The Coherence Of Light

Young coherence of light produces the interference (bright fringes and dark fringes)- let's suppose– we see the bright fringes as planets- and if fringe breadth is comparable with planet diameter- we will find that- the solar planets distribution is typical to the interference of Young- because- the greatest diameter planet "Jupiter" is found in the middle and the other planets diameters are decreased gradually on both sides typical to the fringes distribution in Young interference- please note- I have proved Mars original orbit was between Mercury and Venus and Mars had Migrated to its current orbit by that the inner planets original order was (Mercury-Mars- Venus- The Earth) the diameters are decreased gradually from the Earth to Mercury typical to Young Interference-

Planet can NOT store its motion energy inside its body because It would raise its temperature- and no planet temperature is raised by its motion- logically- planet motion energy is stored in the space in moving waves –Means- planet motion in space is similar to a fish swimming in the sea- the fish swimming creates waves in the sea and similar to that - planet motion energy creates waves in the space- and - fish swims because it hits the water by its body and that creates waves in the water- and these waves move by a velocity equal the fish velocity because of the reaction force- similar to that- Planet moves in the space and its motion energy creates waves in the space and these waves move by velocity equal this planet velocity- for example- Mercury (47.4 km/s) moves and its motion energy creates waves in the space and these waves move by equal velocity (47.4 km/s)

Shortly- the planets move and their motions create waves in the space and each wave moves by velocity equal its planet velocity

AND the planets revolve around the sun in the same one direction and for that their motions energies create waves in the space and these waves move perpendicular on the revolution direction (Toward Pluto orbit)

AND  in Pluto orbit these waves are unified together into one unified wave- this wave moves by a velocity= 205.8 km/s where The 9 planets velocities total=176 km/s but I add the Earth moon velocity (29.8 km/s) that makes the total to be 205.8 km/s – I add the moon velocity because the energy is stored finally in the moon orbit-

Let's discuss the equation

The unified wave moves by (205.8 km/s) – and this wave is reflected- the wave reflection causes to square its velocity – for that the velocity (205.8 km/s) is squared and be (205.8 km/s)^2= 42354 km/s

But Lorentz length contraction effect rate causes to increase the distance 42354 km to be (42354 x 7.1 = 300000 km) – means- the speed 42354 km/s is accelerated to be 300000 km/s = C=speed of light by Lorentz length contraction effect – we understand the rate 7.1 causes to contract the distances but here the rate increases the distances because the wave reflection causes to reflect the geometrical effects.

The Wave Reflection Causes To accelerate the unified wave from (205.8 km/s) to move by speed of light (C=300000 km/s)

Now we have a gravitational wave moves by speed of light (C=300000 km/s)

The sun point of space has geometrical features enable to produce the sun rays and that means – the sun rays can be created only in the sun corona and far from the sun NO light beam can be created – let's see the sun geometrical features in following

The Sun Point Is A Stationary Point Its Velocity 1 km/s = Zero Approximately

This is important feature – Because

All motions are done relative to the sun point of space – for example- Pluto velocity is 4.7 km/s –means- Pluto moves by 4.7 km/s relative to the sun point of space – Shortly- the whole solar system is in motion (space and planets are in motion) but the sun point is stationary (static point moves by velocity 1 km/s = Zero approximately) Means- the solar system is similar to a sea of water and the sun is similar to a vortex or whirlpool found on the sea page – the vortex doesn’t move with the sea waves -Shortly- the sun point of space is the stationary point in the solar system and all motions are done relative to the sun point of space-

Example – Venus moves by 35 km/s that means Venus moves by 35 km/s relative to the sun point of space – also we know Venus motion produces energy and this energy creates waves in the space and these waves move by velocity 35 km/s – means- these waves move by 35 km/s relative to the sun point of space-

First Item - Research Methodology

I use the planets data analysis to discover the planets creation and motion facts–

In details- I try to discover how the planet get its data- for example – why Jupiter diameter is 142984 km? why Neptune axel tilt is 28.3 deg? why Pluto orbital period is 90560 days? This method helps greatly to discover the solar system facts let's provide two examples to explain how this method works

Example No. (1)

Why Is The Moon Orbital Apogee Radius = 406000 Km?

The moon daily displacement =88000 km and during 29.53 days (the moon day period) the displacements total be = 2.598 million km = 2π x 413600 km

The data tells us the moon orbital apogee radius should be 413600 km and also it tells, because the moon daily displacement (88000 km) is so long, the moon should revolve around the Earth through this apogee orbit its radius (413600 km) only and can't revolve around the Earth through any more near orbit…

Not Facts

The moon orbital apogee radius =406000 km only and the moon revolves around the Earth through near orbits and can reach to perigee radius (363000 km). 

How Can The Moon Do That?

 

The intelligent moon creates an angle (θ) between its motion direction and its orbit horizontal level by that the real displacement (L) through the orbit be less than (88000 km) because it be (L = 88000 km cos θ), as a result the total displacements be less than (2.598 million km) and that makes the moon orbital apogee radius to be decreased from 413600 km to 406000 km.

The Matter Is Created Independently From Any Outer Motion – means- even if the matter motion is stopped the matter is still found and never be perished (the motion here means the outer motion and not the atoms motions)

The Matter Is Motionless By Nature

The Matter Needs Mass Gravity Force To Cause Its Motion

The Matter Data And Dimensions Are Not Changed By Its Motion

The big bang theory tells planet is created by random creation- for example- Jupiter diameter is created by unknown value and Jupiter is collided many times in its history and these collisions caused Jupiter diameter (and mass) to be decreased- based on that– Jupiter diameter value (142984 km) is found by random process and without any geometrical reason behind- by that- the big bang theory prevent us to use any planet data to discover the creation and motion rules of this planet.

The light (its speed 1.16 million km per second) built the solar system orbits starting from Mercury orbit toward Pluto orbit- the light created the planets orbits before any planet creation- means- all orbits are created before any planet creation- the orbits are created based on each other (this fact is proved by my planet orbital distance equation) after the light created all orbits and reach to Pluto orbit- the light energy is consumed in the space creation- and the rest energy is found in one light beam its speed is (300000 km/s = the known speed of light)- we understand this is one light beam its speed was 1.16 million km per second before the space creation (In Mercury Orbit) and its speed becomes 300000 km/s after the space creation (in Pluto orbit) as result for the energy consumption in the space creation-

The equation and angles system data prove the following

The planets orbital distances are defined based on their neighbors and NO mass is required to define it- Newton is wrong- planet orbital distance is Not defined based on this planet mass (also planet motion doesn't depend on its mass)

Shortly- the mass is not related for the orbital distance definition at all

Planet velocity definition is important point of study because many planet data is defined based on its velocity- specifically

Planet diameter is defined based on the rate (v1/v2) by my planet diameter equation –discussed before – and

Planet orbital distance is defined by the rate (v1/v2)^2 –and

Planet orbital period is defined by the rate (v1/v2)^3

Please note – Kepler stated (Planet orbit defines its velocity) and it's fact proved by the planets data – but Newton stated Planet motion depends on its mass- this is NOT Fact and Planet velocity is defined without any effect of its mass as the data shows

The second rule tells very similar meaning (v1v2= constant= 1)

The data uses the velocities per solar day for that the constant is changed from 322 into 1 but the rule is the same- (v1v2= Constant)

I want to say- the rule (v1v2 = Constant) tells that (The Velocities Are Reflected On Each Other) this conclusion is simple one (A x 1/A= constant=1)  

The rule proves the energy is reflected in the solar system and this reflection has effect on the planets data and for that the planets velocities are defined by this energy  reflection and the velocities are produced complementary each other as a result.

Notice the second rule causes confusion because the complementary player is changed- for example Pluto is complementary with Venus (in the first rule 35 x 4.7 x 2 = 322) but Pluto is complementary with the Earth moon in the second rule (0.406 x 2.4 = 1) that tells the players are changed which is illogical idea- how can we solve this problem? The third rule solves it – let's see this rule in following

4.7 km/s (Pluto velocity) x 35 km/s (Venus velocity) x 2 = 322

But in the rule (v1v2 =1) we found Pluto is complementary with the moon because

0.406 mkm (Pluto Velocity Daily) x 2.4 mkm (The Moon Velocity Daily) = 1

The question asked – if the planets velocities are defined in pairs complementary each other and not individually how can the players be changed? 

The answer tells – the planets velocities are rated by (0.8) based on the planets order means – the moon velocity daily 2.4 mkm = Venus velocity daily 3.024 mkm x 0.8

The rate (0.8) defines all planets velocities depend on each other by order-

Sebastian Solace headcanons, mantis shrimp edition:

he has a carapace covering his back, under the jacket. it rumbles at a very low frequency when he's feeling territorial, though the effect is mostly smothered when he's carrying the weight of the scrambler.

he has meral spots (eyespots) on his arms. these are covered by his jacket and bandages, but when he feels threatened he will instinctively move in ways choreographed to display them in warning.

his "ear fins" are actually malformed antennal scales, which mantis shrimp use to communicate with each other via different movements and polarization of light. they may also have fluorescent spots that glow yellow in deeper, darker water.

the "back" of his tail looks segmented because of armored plating

I try to form headcanons that can be used to explain his anatomy as depicted in-game, limitations of a Roblox model and all. for that reason I wanna say it's possible that, despite his limbs possibly having the chitinous shell of a mantis shrimp, they may not actually have the structure or musculature required for the classic mantis-shrimp-punch, since they're clearly articulated like human arms rather than raptorial mantis-shrimp limbs (even if his lower arm does seem to rest in a raptor-position, it just doesn't bend the directions an actual mantis-shrimp arm would). but if you still want that for him...

he was spliced with a "smashing" mantis-shrimp type. assuming his sheer size doesn't slow him down at all, then not only can he punch with enough speed and force that the pressure change boils the water around the area of impact, but parts of his arms are actually bladed! could be his forearms, his palms, his fingers, whatever. being spliced with a smashing type could also mean that his aim doesn't need to be completely accurate, as the shock of the water-displacement might complete the job anyway even if his strike doesn't make contact.

(this could also be used to inform his behavior, as smashing mantis-shrimp types are foragers who find sedentary prey to hunt.)

he was spliced with a "spearing" mantis-shrimp type rather than a "smashing" type, and he doesn't actually have the speed that one would typically associate with mantis shrimps. but he does have barbs. these are also the ones that like to burrow in softer substrate; so if you want to go the route of his mantis-shrimp traits manifesting more in his behavior than in his appearance, he'd probably be more comfortable with digging or with burying himself in loose easily-shifted stuff.

(this could also be used to explain why he prefers not to leave his shop, or even to explain his shop as a concept, as spearing mantis-shrimp types are ambush predators who prefer to lie in wait for their prey rather than going out and actively searching for any.)

rather than the more commonly-known "spearing" or "smashing" mantis-shrimp types, he was spliced with one of the rarer "hatchet" types.

alternatively he could've been spliced with a "primitive smashing" or "spike smashing" or "hammer" type.

It's been extremely hard to find info on either of these latter two mantis-shrimp types so if any marine biologists have cool facts to add or sources to recommend (or corrections to make, or clarifications to provide, or specifics to emphasize, or) please feel free to chime in.

Wanted to provide a fandom resource for analysis and theorizing. Since House names are explained in GTN, this list will just focus on first names. DM me for sources. Enjoy <3

Gideon

Biblical prophet, military leader, and judge, meaning "feeler," "hewer," or "one who cuts down." According to narrative, the Israelites had forgotten their god for 40 years and were punished by assaults from enemy tribes. After Israel turned back to God for aid, Gideon, an unnoteworthy Israelite, was delivered the message by an angel that he should lead Israel against its enemies. Gideon requested three miracles be done by God to prove his and God's ability to do this task, which God then performed. Gideon then completes God's tasks, including destroying an idol of Baal in the Israelite camp and displacing a much larger enemy encampment. Gideon delivered 40 years of peace for Israel during his lifetime and refused kinghood and dynasty when offered by his people. However, upon his death, the Israelites returned to worshipping Baal. A "Gideonic victory" can mean winning a battle against the odds.

Harrowhark

Harrowing - to use a piece of farming equipment to level soil, break rocks, and kill weeds to ready the dirt for seed growth. Also refers to the Harrowing of Hell, a non-Biblical, early to middle English traditional episode in which Jesus, upon death by crucifixtion, enters the Underworld to preach salvation to souls interned there before his birth, thus allowing them to enter Heaven. This tradition has been canonized by Catholic theology.

Hark - the first word of many ancient texts or announcements, meaning "listen." Biblical angelic speeches often begin with "hark."

Judith

The feminine of Judah, a Biblical Hebrew name meaning "praised," "woman of Judea/Jewess." The name Judith appears twice in the deuterocanonical Bible: once as one of Esau's wives and seperately as the titular character in the Book of Judith (a book not part of the canonized Bible). In the Book of Judith, Judith is described as a widow who uses her wit, charm, and skills of seduction to be invited to the private tent of Holofernes, the general of the enemy Assyrian army who had laid siege to her city. Judith is able to get Holofernes drunk and overpowers him, decapitates him, and steals his head to show to her city. She is of the few illustrations of the "ideal Jewish woman."

Marta

Derived from Aramaic, meaning "the daughter," "the lady," and "dedicated to Mars"

Isaac

Meaning "he laughs," referring to the father of the Biblical character's laugh of disbelief when God told him, Abraham, that his nonogenarian wife would conceive his child. Isaac is one of the three patriarchs of Israel, grandfather to the 12 tribes. When Isaac was a child, God commanded Abraham to take him up a mountain and sacrifice his child in His name. When Abraham proved his obedience, God provided a ram to sacrifice instead of Isaac. Isaac went on to marry Rebekah; though they eventually believed her to be barren, after Isaac prayed to God, Rebekah concieved twin boys, Esau and Jacob, at an old age, just as his mother did. Rebekah grew to prefer Jacob. Later, due to Sarah and Jacob's scheming, Isaac gave Esau's birthright to his second-born son, Jacob. Jacob would live on to father the twelve tribes of Israel.

Jeannemary

This specific spelling seems to be an invention of Tazmuir, but the duel components of the name are significant. Firstly, "Jean-Marie" is a French masculine name. Jeanne is the feminine form of the English "John." "Jeanne"  can be traced to a Biblical Hebrew name, meaning "God is gracious." The most notable historical character of the same name is Jeanne d'Arc, a young female military leader who acted under divine guidance. Upon instruction of archangels and saints, Jeanne fought in pursuit of the coronation of Charless VII during the 100 Years War. Her leadership led to multiple military victories but was punctuated by multiple failures. The unsuccessful relief of a besieged city led to her capture and deliverance to the English, who tried her for blasphemy by wearing men's clothes and refusing submission to Church authority. Found guilty, Jeanne was burned at the stake at 19.

Mary is the most notable feminine name of the Christian Bible, referring predominately to Mary, mother of Jesus Christ, Mary Bethany, and Mary Magdalene, a female disciple of Jesus. Mary was born immaculately - without sin - so that she would be a pure vessel to carry Jesus, who she concieved as a virgin. Mary Bethany was a friend of Jesus and sister to Lazarus. She was deeply emotional about her brother's passing, which persuaded Jesus to resurrect her brother from the grave. Mary Magdalene was a probably wealthy Jewish woman who aided Jesus' teachings. As a loyal apostle, she was a witness at both His crucifixtion and resurrection.

Coronabeth

"Coronabeth," like "Jeannemary," is an obvious Tazmuir invention. "Corona" refers to both the part of the body that resembles a crown and to a colored circular frame around a stellar body, usually caused by its atmosphere.

"Beth" is derived from both "Elizabeth" ("God is my oath") and "Bethany" ("House of Figs"). The suffix -beth comes from Hebrew origins, meaning "house."

Ianthe

From the Ancient Greek, meaning "violet flower" or "she who delights." She was one of the 3,000 water-nymphs called Oceanides, daughters of the Titans. Ianthe and her sisters served as a companion to Persephone when she was in Hades. She is also a character in Ovid's Metamorphosis as the beautiful fiancé to Iphis, a character who has her/his gender changed by the goddess Isis.

Note on the Tridentarii: Coronabeth was almost called "Cainabeth" and Ianthe "Abella" after the two Biblical brother characters, Cain and Abel. In the narrative, God preferred Abel's divine sacrifices and loved him more than his brother. In a jealous rage, Cain killed Abel and hid from his crime, his family, and his God. When God asked him, "Where is your brother?" Cain returned, "I am not my brother's keeper." Angered, He cursed Cain with the Mark of Cain. Separately, the first fratricide cursed the Earth to never turn over its vegetation to Cain, the first murderer. His Mark symbolizes him as a wanderer, a person who belongs nowhere; however, it also protects him from the curses and abuse of others, returning scorned words and abuses back to the harasser seven-fold. Though Coronabeth and Ianthe received their names elsewhere, the lusty, jealous, murderous themes of Cain and Abel's narrative were present at the time of their creation and thus should not be dismissed.

Naberius

Though I can't find the meaning of the name, "Naberius" is rooted in Latin. It first appears in Johann Weyer's 1583 manuscript, "The Deceptions of Demons." Naberius, or "Cerberus" - relation to the same named three-headed dog of Ancient Greek theology unknown - is a Marquess of Hell, directing 19 legions of demons. He provides cunningness of the arts, sciences, and rhetoric in man through vocal instruction and can restore lost honors and dignities. His semblance is of a man with three dog heads or a raven.

Abigail

Biblical Hebrew name meaning "my father's joy," "my father is exalted." Abigail is a Biblical figure, being the third wife of King David and mother to one of his sons. She is a strong believer in the prophecy of David's ascension and his great dynasty. Abigail is considered to be one of the seven Jewish woman prophets and, in the Talmud, of the four women "surpassing beauty in this world." The word "Abigail" can refer nonspecifically to a waiting woman or handmaiden.

Palamedes

There are two notable historical fiction characters that share the name "Palamedes." Palamades was an ancient Grecian prince who joined the battle of Troy, according to the Aenid. After Paris had taken Helen to Troy, Palamedes was sent as envoy from Agamemnon to Odysseus because the latter man had previously vowed to defend Helen's marriage. Odysseus, however, did not want to attend the war, but Palamedes was successful in proving his fitness for war and ultimately delivering Odysseus to Troy. According to some traditions, Odysseus never forgave Palamedes for this and eventually killed him. In the Apology, Plato characterizes Socrates as looking forward to death in order to speak with Palamedes.

Secondly, Sir Palamedes is a knight of the round-table, a Saracen pagan (or probable Muslim) who converted to Christiantiy later in life. He is introduced dueling another knight, Sir Tristan, for a lady's hand, which he loses; these two fight several more times but with unclear victories, leading to a hate-love relationship deepened by their love for the same woman (the woman of their first duel). Many stories have Palamedes as the hunter of the Questing Beast, a fearsome animal the target of many a fruitless hunt. After years of pursuit, it is ultimately his freedom from wordly material granted by his Christian conversion that allows him to slaughter the beast. He remains loyal to Sir Lancelot after his affair with Queen Guinevere is revealed and follows Lancelot to France. Sir Palamedes is later killed by Sir Gawain. Except in matters concerning his love and Sir Tristan, where he often lost control of his anger, he was one of the most chivalrous and honorable knights.

Note: The story of Sir Palamedes, as a product of Arthurian legend, is nearly impossible to summarize properly due to its expansiveness and document fragmentation. If interested in the topic (such as the wink wink homo-erotic love-hate relationship he has with Sir Tristan,) i encourage futher research.

Camilla

"Camilla" is the feminine of "Camillus," a Latin term meaning acolyte, a helper of the Priest during religious processionals and ceremonies. In the Aeneid, Camilla is a queen gifted to the goddess Diana as a handmaiden who became a virginal Amazon warrior.

Dulcinea

"Dulcinea" is a name created by Don Quixote for his character, derivative of the Spanish word "dulce" meaning "sweetness." Princess Dulcinea was invented in the titular character's mind to be the most perfect, beautiful, and regal woman since he believes chivalry requires such a lady of him. To refer to a loved one as like Dulcinea is to express your idealistic devotion and love to her.

Protesilaus

"Protesilaus" may come from the Ancient Greek "protus" for "first." Protesilaus was a hero in the Iliad. According to an oracle, the first Greek to set foot on land after sailing to fight the Trojan War would die. Protesilaus was the first to dare step off ship; he sealed his fate then, later dying in combat. His widow was so devoted to his memory that she built a bronze statue with his likeness. She later self-emulated when the statue was burned and destroyed.

Silas

Latin in origin, "Silas" means "of the forest." Notable figures named "Silas" include first century St. Silas, who accompanied St. Paul on his second mission. He is credited as co-author of the two letters to Thessalonians and the Book of Hebrews; however, authoriship is disputed. St. Silas is sometimes depicted with broken chains due to an episode in which an earthquake freed him and St. Paul from imprisonment.

The Yin and Yang of Engineering: Jinx/Viktor

Chap. 1: Tinkering with the absurd.

The scent of scorching metal and candle wax lingered in the air, mingling with the residual ozone of active Hextech. The laboratory existing as an ecosystem of its own — a microcosm of calculated order, in which every movement was rigorously orchestrated, every instrument meticulously placed, every breath synchronized to the steady hum of interconnected machinery. The crisp scratch of graphite against parchment, the measured clink of tools — the usual praxis. Something, however, had already begun to disrupt its equilibrium.

Viktor sensed the disturbance before he saw it. A minute displacement in the air pressure, a fractional shift in the ambient acoustics; the subtlest irregularity. Then, the faintest creak from above.

He let his fingers continue their measured course along the Hextech circuitry before him, grip steady, focus ostensibly unscathed. A test, in part—to see how long the anomaly would linger before announcing itself.

He had already detected the pair of pendulous blue braids dangling into his peripheral vision; had already cataloged mass, velocity, and descent trajectories should the anomaly, as anomalies often do, spiral into a paroxysm of unpredictability.

"You look very ugly from this angle, y'know?" came the snickering, upside-down voice. The words were laced with a gummy, lopsided grin.

Viktor let out a stolid, measured exhale, slowly tipping his head up. “And you resemble a bat.” he replied evenly, tone as measured as his calibrations.

The statement elicited a gnarly laugh from Jinx, who was suspended from an overhead beam. Her entire body was folded into an improbable pose, legs hooked over the steel girder as though gravity were merely a suggestion.

The neon glow of Zaun’s skyline bled in through the lab windows, casting fragmented light over the contours of her rounded features, the faint smudge of soot dusting her jawline, the subtle asymmetry of her pupils—one slightly more dilated than the other. A tell, perhaps.

Viktor merely adjusted a stabilizer. “Should I begin to question how you got up there?”

Jinx twisted midair with a surprising economy of movement. The vertebral rotation was precise, controlled—almost acrobatic.

Then, without warning, she let go. Viktor tensed, a reflexive tightening of his grip on the edge of the workbench. The poor scientist had already begun to map trajectories, force differentials, probabilities of injury, only for the jinx to land in a perfect crouch, one hand brushing the floor for balance before springing up with the fluidity of a creature built for unpredictability.

Jinx twirled once, for no discernible reason other than self-amusement, then flopped onto one of his worktables, her limbs sprawling on the surface with careless abandon.

“So, Doc?” Jinx drawled, tilting her head toward the intricate lattice of Hextech components strewn before him. “whatcha cooking up in that fancy contraption of yours?”

"A minor enhancement,” he answered, gesturing at the faintly pulsating gemstone embedded in the device. “One that may stabilize Hextech output during large power draws. We—” he hesitated, momentarily considering whether to lump himself in with Piltover’s more refined approach "—some of us forget how violent these energies can be when not properly harnessed.”

“Violent energies, violent minds,” she mused, referring to his earlier statement, while patting down the dust on her patchwork trousers. “Nothing a little disorder can't fix.”

“Entropy requires boundaries,” Viktor corrected, keeping his voice gentle despite the admonition. “A container. Else it consumes itself and everything around it.”

"Alright, philosopher," she snickered, "so, what you're telling me is 'no boom'?"

“Absolutely not. No utility whatsoever in explosions."

Jinx's ebullient expression dropped to a saturnine one. “Boring,” she huffed, scrunching her nose. “why are you like this?”

“Functionality,” Viktor returned evenly, “is not contingent on spectacle.”

“Roger that.” she sneered. Jinx twisted at the waist, swinging gently like a pendulum.

She peered at him through the electric haze, turning a small metal sphere over in her hand—one of her bombs, he surmised, judging by the labyrinth of tiny, improvised coils etched along its surface. It was disarmingly compact, unpolished, but brimming with haphazard brilliance. There was artistry in its asymmetry, like a half-remembered blueprint from a dream.

She pressed the sphere into his palm. “Try to make this stable now, yeah?” her tone brimming with the same sardonic twang she always carried. Yet beneath that, a flicker of sincerity: an invitation to test the boundaries she had set.

Viktor’s metal brace squeaked softly as he shifted his weight, accepting the device with steady composure, analyzing the craft with composed fascination. “I am usually up for a challenge,” he replied, a faint thread of wry humor lacing his tone. “However… I must insist you not hang from my rafters again without warning. The structural integrity—”

“Yeah, yeah," she immediately interrupted him, snorting, "... deal."

Viktor set the bomb gently on the worktable and glanced at her. In the silent seconds that followed, there was no condescending tut-tut of a Piltover academic, no sanctimonious lecture of what she could have done better. Merely an unspoken accord that if they could each appreciate the other’s mania—and keep its calamitous potential in check—there was something worth building there.

He adjusted a delicate filament, the faintest suggestion of amusement sparking behind his amber eyes. “You mistake methodology for rigidity,” he randomly mused, glancing sidelong at Jinx.

Her nose wrinkled again, waiting for him to elaborate.

He rolled his wrist as he set a filament connector. “A scientist does not calculate every step merely to banish unpredictability. Calculation is comprehension—to understand a system so deeply that you know precisely where to push and when to pull. Not to prevent chaos,” he added, letting the final phrase hang, “but to direct it.”

Her lids flickered in hesitant acknowledgment; skepticism warred with fascination in her mismatched gaze. “So what you’re saying,” she pressed, “is that you do like messing with things, you quaint, boring guy.”

A soft hum escaped Viktor’s throat, ignoring the insults. “The core of invention is not the mere desire for control, but curiosity,” he continued. “The difference,” he said mildly, “is that I prefer my experiments remain intact by the end of it.”

She slid off the table and prowled around the lab, trailing her fingers over metal and wire, rifling through blueprints.

Jinx moved like she thought in tangents: erratic. Nonlinear. Pausing here, skipping entire sections there, only to circle back if something caught her eye again, in what one could call a stochastic, staccato fashion.

Eventually, she plopped herself down at a workbench—one cluttered with Viktor and Jayce’s shared diagrams—scrunching them aside with a careless sweep of her forearm. Surprisingly, she took pains not to knock them to the floor or tear them. An almost incongruous note of consideration from someone so prone to what Viktor could only describe as deliberate rascality.

Jinx stretched until a series of pops echoed through the quiet workshop, then rummaged in her satchel. Out came the neon-splashed paraphernalia she called her toolkit: coil springs, nuts and bolts of questionable origin, and—of course—her beloved spray cans in garish, candy-colored hues. The stark contrast against Viktor’s methodical array of polished metal components was almost comical.

Yet neither commented on it. Viktor, engrossed in refining a fractal array for stabilizing Hextech surges, offered only the occasional sideward glance. Jinx, with her usual lack of ceremony, fished out a crude welding torch and got to work assembling... something. If the shape seemed headed toward destructive potential, Viktor refrained from remark—he had long discovered that sharing space with her was a delicate dance better navigated by trusting in her ad-hoc, if not entirely safe, sense of boundaries.

Hours passed in near silence. In place of conversation was the rhythmic hum of the lab, the hiss of flux as Viktor soldered circuit boards, the faint crackle of Jinx’s blowtorch. Occasionally, Jinx broke the hush with a sudden whoop or guttural holler, purely to see Viktor jump at the unexpected noise. Each time, she dissolved into snickering laughter. He responded with measured exasperation, arching one brow but saying nothing. Even so, a trace of bemusement flickered across his features, as though he found her antics strangely disarming.

Eventually, the overhead lamps dimmed, a subtle reminder that the hour was growing late. Viktor powered down his apparatus with a final flip of a switch. Jinx, yawning in an exaggerated manner, began stowing her things in a scuffed leather pouch. "Think 'm headin' out now. Night night."

"Night."

The woman had already crept back up with the grace of a nimble rat, scaling the ceiling pipes, her long electric blue braids once more dangling upon Viktor's forehead as he scarcely managed to push them aside. She then made her way to the same improbable entryway through which she had crashed into the lab, quietly humming an off-key tune before vanishing into the sooty shadows beyond.

Viktor, by contrast, had continued his work undisturbed, denying himself even the basic luxury of sleep. When his eyelids finally began to grow heavy and he awoke from a brief micro-slumber, elbows unceremoniously propped on the workbench, he caught, in a dazed haze, the blurred image of a bizarre object with distinct animalistic contours, stationed before him as though it were unnervingly staring at him.

Instinctively, he flinched, covering his head as if to brace himself for the expected detonation which, surprisingly, never came.

The odd bitzer remained still, with no sign of malevolent nature, glimmering quietly under the workshop’s neon gloom — a squat, mechanical monkey-like figure sporting metallic plating with a grotesque smile and an odd coil in its belly.

Viktor raised a brow as he took note of the small sprig attached to its left hand, that held the monkey's weight into an erect position while seemingly mimicking the scientist's own ligneous cane. His attention was then captured by the bright yellow post-it affixed to the metallic ape with a messy bit of tape, scribbled in a deliberately sloppy handwriting:

Beneath it, a wonky smiley face scrawled in lurid neon ink, as asymmetrical as its creator’s grin.

It elicited a smile from him, who examined it as it rested upon his palm. Albeit a bit rough in its form, the artefact appeared to be crafted with a certain intent, perhaps even care. He pressed a button to test the mechanism, still half-expecting an explosive cacophony. The monkey’s tiny arms flailed in a spasmodic dance, beginning to tremble as if preceding detonation, only to splutter out a few confetti which landed on his ivory jacket. Viktor shook his head, his expression softening to one of amusement.

He let his index carefully trail over its metal plating, before placing it on his workbench beside the half-finished stabilizer, the neon-paint smudges glaring against the refined Hextech casing. For all the incongruity, there was something undeniably… charming about it. Perhaps endearing even. He'd later hang it up in a corner of the lab, a testament to the newfound, improbable synergy.

For the first time since Jayce's abandonment of the lab in pursuit of his councilor duties, Viktor perceived a vague sense of vacancy following the disappearance of Jinx and her shenaningans, which alongside his exhaustion finally prompted him to call it a day and go home, an unfortunately rare occurrence for the inventor.

In truth, this measured respect and fascination had begun well before Jinx’s impromptu acrobatics in Viktor’s laboratory — it had taken root, ironically, in moments where they’d never even met face-to-face.

Viktor recalled being urgently presented with the disarrayed collection of fuliginous, hazardous mechanical constructs—agglomerations of metallic scraps, remnants of gunpowder cartridges, and nearly comical embellishments of dubious taste, alarmingly rumored to have derived from Silco's inner circle.

"The configuration is... rough, though there certainly is a certain knowledge of engineering, if not mere intuition." Viktor mused, carefully examining the device's labyrinthine wiring and ingeniously modified spark fuses of the complex apparatus beneath him.

"Would they be capable of figuring Hextech out?" Jayce wondered aloud, his steps resonating an anxious rhythm across the chamber's floor.

"Eh," Viktor hummed pensively, "I wouldn't exclude it. The possibility does exist."

"With a complete lack of the theoretical basis? No, no. Years of research and tests only for some... sick, delinquent mind to comprehend and emulate so effortlessly? No chance." he quickly retorted, the firm incredulity in his voice coming across as an attempt at self-regulation rather than genuine conviction. "This is merely a... well-thought attempt at scare tactics. To intimidate us into allowing independency."

"The absence of formal theory, or proper equipment, only serves to underscore the inventive potential of such mechanical artistry." Viktor countered, "If only such acumen could be channeled towards something more... constructive." he then mused, lithe fingers delicately twiddling with the disassembled filaments beneath him.

"Potential? Viktor, this is sheer madness. These are seeds of entropy threatening to contaminate the flourishing utopia that is Piltover. I can not tolerate nor allow this, and may be obliged to..." he paused, simultaneously recalling Medarda's words and anticipating the partner's disapproval, "take countermeasures."

The statement did, in fact, earn a mild glare from Viktor, who was intently scanning the device's subversive wiring.

"If I recall correctly, weren't Hexgems, too, violently volatile in their raw form?" Viktor extended his arm, the servos in his brace whirring faintly as he aligned the titanium-tipped cutters with the wire he had deduced to be the linchpin of the circuitry,

"Volatility is often the embyron of great potential," he continued, finally neutralizing the bomb, "the only requirement being the correct catalyst to refine and stabilize its essence."
