Another sleepless night for the Wayne family. A whole week it was now, in which they hadn't got a single amount of sleep. Tired they were, irritated, cranky and grumpy—to put it nicely—on it's finest level.

And the sole cause for this was you.

You had gotten a fever, heaven above knows from where. One of the strong kinds, which a adult could sweat off but a child not.

And a way of telling, for children who are in delay of speaking, was throughout crying.

Jason sighed deeply through his nose. Rubbing his eyes—pressing his palms into them—pinching the bridge of his nose. He looked down at his baby brother, who squirmed around in whining, not crying anymore but still teary eyed, of not liking the warmth—even though the only thing your wearing are diapers and a oversized shirt.

Jason has come, after some months of destroying something in rage, to terms with it of having another sibling, a much younger one, again.

Taking the washcloth from your forehead, Jason picked you up. You were starting to get fussy again and before another hellish cry would erupt from your tiny vocals, Jason decided to carry you a bit around.

«You know I love you sunshine, but a little bit of sleep would be nice, for the both, all of us» said Jason, more to himself than you in the sense of your not able to understand and reply at all.

You weren't the healthiest one—I mean Tim was unhealthy too, but in contrast to Tim, who lacks sleeps, human decency and only drinks his coffee on a empty stomach—wasn't prone to get easily sick, like you do.

Doctor Liz, after many check ups, told them that you have a weak immun system and that there wasn't anything to do about it—expect for medication and treatment vacations.

Jason would've comment, that there was a way—the lazarus pit or some dark magic rituals, but Bruce has already warned him not to bring it up. He could understand it though, doing one of those options would equal lots of pain for you and if your tiny body and mind could handle it was another question.

It was 4AM and all Tim wanted was a good old big cup of coffee to drink and being interrupted by Jason and the little annoyance of a brother—who cries, screams and shits endless—wasn't part of his plan. Tim glares at them, grip around his cup tighten.

«Can't you keep that thing away from kitchen?»

«Now now Timber, don't be so rude. We're just wanna have some chocolate milk,»

«I swear if he gonna cry again, I will scream.»

Jason ignored Tim, rummaging through the cupboards and fridge with one hand and preparing you a bottle of lukewarm chocolate milk. Hopefully this time you're able to drink it and not vomiting it all out again.

Tim glanced from time to time up from his phone at Jason and you. Tim wouldn't say he hated you, it's just being constantly keep awake from your crying was taking a toll on him.

«I don't think your choco-milk addiction is good for [Name].» mumbles Tim, eyeing the chocolate milk in your bottle wearily.

«Pff, better than Coffee don'tcha think?»

«And what if he is lactose intolerant?»

Jasons amusing smile fall instantly when Tim has pointed out the possibility of it.

«Fuck.» Jason cursed out, thinking back to all the times you had a endless pooping after you drank your chocolate milk. He never thought milk was the reasons for it, thought you only had a very sensitive stomach.

Tim groaned loudly when you started crying again. Hiding his face into his crossed arms onto the counter and screamed.

Your fever still hadn't gone down. Sometimes it would a bit, but then would rise again and with Jason constantly having giving you milk, a new problem has rising up, which adds to your feverish state.

Bruce bounced you on his leg, humming a melody and shushing you gently, trying to calm you down. Another sleepless night he guessed.

Bruce still doesn't what the reasons is for you feeling so unwell, besides the news of you being lactose intolerant. Maybe he should bring you into the hospital, Liz probably has some medication to help you. Then again Bruce wasn't sure if you would take this form of separation so greatly.

Just for a little bit, just for a little bit more they have to endure sleepless nights. You're recovery would just take a bit of time, nothing to fret.

Oh, but Bruce didn't know just how endless the nights would be go.

He doesn't why you're quiet, he's never been a silent man himself. He's always been loud and quite likes being around people.

He will try to not be as loud around you, to the best of his ability. He can only be so quiet and still before needing to do something.

He also is not a quiet man.

He is constantly aching for attention and the company of other people.

But in the rare moments he is completely calm, he is actually pretty damn quiet.

He is happy to exist with you. Read a book or silently finish his paint, or maybe do some paperwork.

For once.

You wouldn't think it with how he acts on stage, but he is actually a very quiet man off stage.

He is happy to just be silent with you and work on his paperwork, or even his video games and paperwork. Only speaking up when he has too.

He would offer you foods and drinks when he has them, just to make sure that you have something in your system.

Old Nihil

Honestly he's kinda lucky when it comes to that...

Nihil is a fucking simp. He loves staring at you.

Even if you talked a lot, he'd still mostly stare... and then use his age as an excuse for having no idea what you said to him.

But if you're not very talkative and just do your own thing?

Yeah, he loves it, because he just gets to keep watching you adoringly and not get scolded for not listening.

So you two just exist in silence. You doing your thing and him just... watching you.

Young Nihil

He likes you, but wishes you were a bit more outgoing.

Tries taking you out, thinking you just need a different setting to get more rowdy.

You don't. And while he's oblivious and insistent for a while at first, he does eventually give up and tries to figure out a better, more private date ideas.

Movie nights are his automatic go-to. A nice, safe option.

Maybe a small coffee date with his paints off, not as Papa Emeritus Zero, but as just Nihil.

He comes to realize he actually does like quiet dates and while he still offers to take you to a party every once in a while, he doesn't insist on going if you say no.

Root Spagots Theory Crafting EP 1:

What Actually Caused Dark Choco's Eye injury?

(a rehash of new information/still no answer but a disproving of one theory)

Let's first start with the facts:

1) His conversation with his father right before he attacked him was somewhat civil

2) His CROB outfit was what he looked like right before he attacked his father. We can make this inference based on his shadow during his recalling of the event

3) His injury appears to be from either an upward or a downward slash/injury

4) The eye injury is clearly recently wrapped and the prince of a kingdom wouldn't be left with bl00died bandages, even for one like DCK (especially due to what I'm guessing is high mortality rates due to the watchers occupation)

5) While Cacao is seen to have some anger issues, which has prompted some people to assume he gave Choco the injury before or after his betrayal, Dark Cacao isn't seen to be physically violent unprompted. The only three times were:

1- Clotted telling them WL was Dark Enchantress. (Which given what DE has done, would be a serious accusation/derogatory label to someone he doesn't know is dead or not, and is a close friend)

(((keep in mind for this Dark Enchantress destroyed Golden Cheeses kingdom killing hundreds (something Cacao knew))))

2- The conversation with Dark Choco on the wall, AFTER he admits he's with COD and is helping a known terrorist who hurt his kingdom and friends. (He also threatened to kill innocent people if he didn't get Cacao's Souljam)

3- After Choco tried to kill him for the second time.

Along with what inevitably makes the "Cacao gave Choco his eye injury" crumble (lol) are two other facts.

As previously mentioned under (4) his injury is recently wrapped, jam seeping through the bandages in a way they wouldn't do unless it was either recent or Choco accidentally opened the wound again.

Opportunity and What We See.

Cacao wouldn't have the opportunity to defend himself by blinding Choco because he both

A) Seemed to be unarmed and wasn't even wielding his sword

B) Cacao was far too injured and based on what he said to Choco after, telling him to leave, had no intention to chase after him.

Along with the final additional fact that Cacao is canonically neglectful but not physically abusive, besides I've already stated how I feel about the physical abuse hc. Devsisters would not make one of their ancient heros (other than White Lily) an awful person.

The Cacao theory seems highly unlikely.

So. What did give Choco his injury?

To put it simply, while we have multiple possibilities, it's really just based on the one you want to believe.

In the background of this costume background there's a lot of arrows, which may point to it being an arrow injury. But at this point now, it looks like we won't be getting any answers.

Maybe in beast yeast the answer will finally be unveiled?

Elder Faeire Cookie, when he invetiably pries the information out of you, manages to hide his horror well enough. There's a twitch in his lips, and his pupils shrink a bit, but other than that, he manages to keep up his serene front.

Inside? He's a complete and utter mess.

It wasn't often that he asked about your visions of the future, only usually after disastrous events was when he asked. But to hear that you would die? At the hands of the Cookie you loved most?

It's tearing him apart.

He tries his best not to avoid you, but by the Witches, that information is tearing him apart. Laughing constantly in his face, telling him that he's the one you'll die to. He's the reason he'll invetiably never see you laugh or smile or dance.

And when Elder Faeire Cookie hugs you closer than usual one night, his body trembling just a bit, he hopes that maybe, just maybe, the future can be changed.

Stardust Cookie has absolutely no clue what to do with that information when you tell him.

He's.. going to be the cause of your death? How? Why?

It gets him quite obviously upset the more he thinks about it. You come along with him on his travels, and being told that he's the reason of your death is absolutely heartbreaking for him.

He spends way too long thinking about it, dwelling too long. Sometimes he wonders that maybe you'll get hurt by a monster? Or something worse..

It'll take you gently pulling him aside to tell him that it's far off in the future. Not something to worry about now, especially when you two had a train to catch.

Stardust Cookie only agrees to drop it only if you promise to let him know if that future changes. He just can't lose you..

Just tell her that her whole life is over, why don't you?

Black Raisin Cookie loves and trusts you deeply, so that's why it stung all the more when you quietly admitted to her what your vision showed you.

She wasn't angry at you, not even herself, but at what fate decided. Why was she the one to strike you down? Hadn't she lost enough Cookies, hadn't she suffered enough?!

Black Raisin Cookie is constantly torn between hovering near you always and leaving you alone. She doesn't want to end up hurting you, like your prophecy said, but she also doesn't want to leave your side.

She'll end up having a serious conversation with you regarding this. It's something she knows that can't be avoided, and wants to get the tough conversation over with.

I saw the update trailer and had the idea to make a puppet show of the story we know from shadow milk's point of view!

I made a script at 7 am and the video at 10 pm so It isn't the best but. Yk

it's stupid to cry over something like this , isn't it ? the chocolate's going to turn out tasting wrong again . with something like confectioneries and cooking , even if you don't manage it the first , second , or even third or fourth time , as long as there's at least one success , then it proves it's not impossible , and it becomes easier to do again , right ? --- but there's something still so painfully revealing about it .

there are people out there who have done this over a hundred times --- he's not sure where the comfort's supposed to be in a thought like that . wanting to do something like this by himself was also wanting to prove that he could ... and anyways , it wasn't entirety the frustration of flubbing up the process or the simple , annoying mistakes . it was the anxiety , the anticipation swirling around with crumbs , almonds , white , strawberry , milk , dark ...

the fear of disappointment .

he knows he doesn't have to do this . he knows he's just hiding behind a holiday excuse to try something he's never done before , ignoring the dread that he might not receive anything from anyone again but pitying words of consolation , a pat on his back and maybe a snicker behind it , or worse . what would he do if his hard work to anyone ended up rejected ? what if sincere feelings weren't enough ? giri-choco , tomo-choco , honmei-choco ... for him , everything felt honmei .

he knows that this sort of thing that was supposed to come from the heart ---

So I've been thinking about and talking with my friends about the possible reunion between dark choco and dark cacao because I find the idea fascinating and their relationship fascinating because the game doesn't villainize him for being a flawed parent but also doesn't justify his actions even if in his eyes it was necessary it was still neglectful and it's still let the choco going down the path that he did and even if both of them are healing they need to have a like actual talk about everything

And I think it will be perfect to have it during this years holidays update because you know last year we were introduced to this costume and everybody went wild over it

He is healing he's becoming happier and healthier so I think the reconciliation time should be this year's holidays update and that's how I believe it should go

Oran was born with a love of the outdoors. He loves camping, fishing, hiking, mountain climbing, and basically any sport that keeps him outside. He hates it when hes forced to stay inside for any reason, whether it's bad weather or he's sick with something. Man will complain the ENTIRE time.

Oran works as a sort of "monster slayer/village protector". Ever since he got his scar, Oran has had a drive to protect the people he loves from forces bigger than them. He patrols the outskirts of Trollstopia to keep large predators away from the general population.

When Oran was eight years old, he received a massive scar on the side of his face from a monster that made it's nest near Trollstopia. His uncle JD had fallen into it's nest, and Rhonda had appeared in the city in a panic without him. Against his parents orders to stay home, Oran went out searching for his favorite uncle. He found him and cut him loose from the nest, but was hurt in the process.

Oran loves Pop music and hints of rock. He doesn't sing much, but when he does, you'll find no one louder than he is on the mic.

Fun Facts!

- A year after he got his scar, when he was 9, JD gifted his old goggles and a pilots jacket to him, as a thank you for coming to find him.

- Oran HATES hairbrushes. Doesn't like how they feel, how they pull at his hair, none of it. Poppy has to chase him around the house and basically hold him down to brush his hair (as a child AND now as an adult)

- When JD's son Finley was born, Oran was super jealous of him for stealing away all of his favorite uncles attention. He got over it after a few years, to the relief of his parents.

- Oran is in an weird situationship with Loki, son of Kismet. He doesn't know if they're dating or not. Like they kiss wildly when they see each other, but don't discuss anything else. He has no idea, but he's okay with that.

And that's Oran!!! Boy took one look at his uncle JD and said "I wanna be like THAT" (to Branch's horror lol). He has no shame in bragging about how JD is his favorite uncle and how his old goggles got passed down to him.

So, i have to know..What is you opinions on White lily"s update, and Shadow milk cookies update to an extent. I defiantly have some..thoughts about white lily's story, but i wanna know your opinions :)

I honestly really love where the story is going at the moment! I really love the idea of there being other ancients than the ones we currently have now. It really expands the lore of CRK.

And I'll be honest, Shadow Milk really reminds me of Projection Dark Choco but blue and I absolutely love that. He's just such a bastard who likes to make PV miserable because he doesn't want to admit what he has truly become. (MF be gaslighting, gatekeeping, girlbossing his way through this story and we gotta respect the man for that)

One thing that I honestly do not like is the new rarity for the costume gacha. The new costumes for White Lily and PV are stunning but FUCKING GOD do we really need a recolor of them?? The most parental you can get is not exactly ideal when it comes to Miim. I mean when Miim was REALLY young before Pom burnt down her village, there were the other priestesses. After that, you have Pom, who deals with most things. After that would be Licorice (even though Lico is around the same age as Miim, the mage is surprisingly more mature.)

You are also correct in the fact that Dark Choco has no idea Miim exists. :] Dark Cacao doesn't know, either. If either of them knew, I think Dark Choco wouldn't care and lay it out like it is and destroy Miim's worldview- and Dark Cacao would be flabbergasted that his son not only had a child but one of this immaturity. Possible reasons why Tim doesn't age:

1) Lazarus water in his coffee, courtesy of Damien.  Damien, ever tired of being the "baby" of the family, secretly doses Tim in small amounts with Lazarus water so while Damien gets a chance to look dark and gritty like Batman as he gets older, Tim will have a perpetual case of baby face. Tim, being the avid coffee drinker he is, doesn't even notice. The thing is, what Damien would have never guessed is that even though the doses are super small, Tim is now not only technically immortal, but Also a citizen of the ghost zone (if we're going by the theory of Lazarus pits being defunct ghost zone portals)

They find out this when a ghost zone equivalent of a IRS auditor shows up asking Tim why he hasn't been paying his taxes

3) The stress of being in constant life or death battles gives Tim baby face. It sounds completely rediculious, which it is,but hear me out. Some aspects of physiology, especially in certain DC alternate universes, are psychosomatic. Studies have been conducted that reveal the body deteriorates in high stress situations. So the reason Tim looks forever young is because a bunch of angst and stress stunted his growth.

I'll grant that this could affect other batfam members, except stress affects everyone differently, so there's a chance that the others just aren't as bothered, or that they show being bothered differently
