Arachnalchemy

After all these years, we finally have Arachnalchemy beneath of our fingertips. Almost hard to believe.

Ya know I appreciate these little moments that flesh out the ecology of Lore and its regions. For a world in which magic is as natural as breathing, it can be interesting to see how each class of organism operates within these lands as creatures of magic.

Biological Intrigue aside however...

Every bit of this exchange pained my heart. It's not easy seeing a loved one in such state where they suffered quite a bit of mental deterioration from something that has no known cure. It's even worse when they might be a danger to themselves or even you all the while knowing that it's not their fault that they are this way now. I only hope in her search to cure his sickness that she herself does not go mad.

To end things on a much more positive note though

It'll be interesting to see how Tomix grows up in the coming years. They'll have the genetic background of arachnomancy and, at least one would assume, they might an interest in weaving arts due to their father's background. Not to mention the fact they'll be doing much of their growing up on the surface if Riadne and Izaac still plan to move out of Ravenloss.
