All about it is just perfect. I love how Blake think they didn't get along its not like they were insane for eachother since day two.

when Diana starts to talk about her friends dont understand her burden and Blake stats to talk about how her friends life depends on her and that they'll have to live with the fact of maybe losing them.

tlou meets jurassic park meets aliens… i introduce you to the movie “65”. mills (sad-angsty-space-pilot) and koa are surrogate father-daughter who crash land in a vicious planet full of dinosaurs trying to kill them in every turn. my man mills goes through so much whump while protecting the child. did i mention it’s ADAM DRIVER? *screaming crying throwing up*

Hey why aren’t more ppl talking abt Scavengers Reign, it might have some of the best subtle world building I have ever seen with an amazing art style.

The music can get intense in relatively normal situations where nothing ends up happening, but leaves you wondering when something is going ti happen. It makes you expectant in a calming way, wondering what happens next, how everything ties together. It has a beautiful mystery that makes me excited to continue watching it :)

Okay I usually don’t say hey go watch this but I just watched

Captain laserhawk blood dragon remix on Netflix and holy moly it was freaking awesome I love it so much go watch it right now it has Kenny Omega in it and Cody Rhodes too it has various video game references and it has a story that sticks with you and it has -nope I’m not gonna ruin it for you guys but it’s so good GO Watch it! (And if you have seen it we can talk about it)

Do you prefer Colin Firth or Matthew Macfadyen as Mr Darcy?

Neither. I don't think we've seen a perfect portrayal of Darcy yet.

1940 Laurence Olivier is far too charming.

1967 Lewis Fiander doesn't show enough contrast in his behaviour between people he deems worthy and doesn't.

1980 David Rintoul is too robotic.

1995 Colin Firth is way too broody. Broody McBroodface

2005 Matthew Macfadyen is a Shyboi. And Darcy ain't shy.

Pride & Prejudice & Zombies's Sam Riley is too short, I don't know why that bothers me so much. It was a decent portrayal otherwise.

Watching 1967 again (it's here), I think Lewis Fiander is my favourite Darcy. Not perfect, but the interactions with the Bingleys are great and I like him at the ball. The proposal is also very good though he might not be quite angry enough. But he might be a bit too smiling and "performing to strangers" with his aunt. And they don't show his awkward parsonage visits (it's 6 episodes of 25 minutes).

Also, my favourite Elizabeth is either 1967 or 1980. I find 1995 too serious and 2005 too angry. In both 1967 and 1980, Elizabeth is fun and charming, as she should be!

Miraculous: The Movie

This is not a full review, I feel like I might pull one together in the coming days but for now my immediate response is:

I Loved it!

There are nitpicks, but that's all they are. It was loads of fun. I haven't smiled watching this show in a long time, but this movie? This made me smile.

If anyone hasn't yet watched Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever, I highly recommend doing so this weekend!

This will disappear from Disney+ on May 26th as part of Disney's purge.

It's only three episodes, less than 90 minutes all up. A wonderful insight into the effort and talents of the artists involved. I miss behind the scenes docos so much! 😭

I hope it'll still exist in some form after (Blu Ray features?) But it doesn't sound like any of these 50 shows will have a physical media release. (Willow is another surprising one being purged!)
