— “ Found across Ireland, the Alp Luachra is certainly not a benevolent member of the fairy host. Meaning “ferocious little creature”, this small animal is a fairy parasite, causing illness and withering in humans. Regional dialects give him different names; Art-luachra, Airc-luachra, Arc-luachra, “Dark-looker”, or even Ail-cuac. Should a man be stricken with a thinning sickness, it is usually the Alp Luachra to blame, starving the man of his nourishment, no matter what he eats. “
— pink rocky exoplanet filled with nitrous oxide, or more known as laughing gas
because of the laughing gas, he is almost always constantly loopy, out of it, and doing things that someone WITHOUT laughing gas wouldn’t do
— alp LOVES tormenting his planet-mates
if you have moons, you better hide them😭 he is quite literally crazy and will torture them with strange cryptic ass messages. but! he enjoys torturing his fellow planets too. somnus and pre-dosore specifically (<— my buddies’ planet ocs)
— while humanoid, he is about 7’0 feet tall, doesn’t wear clothes, and has light pink fairy wings and antennae. despite his cutesy appearance, he is fully grown, and would be considered an adult
though, in his regular planet form, he is about the size of mars (tiny guy!)
— patterns always change on his surface, due to the rapid shifting of his tectonic plates constantly. he is also incapable of harboring life
— he has strange cartoon logic, being able to bend, twist, express comical emotions, summon strange weapons (that he’d have no idea even existed), and more. he is fr an ai bot 🗣️🗣️🗣️
yaaaaay das it for nowwww!!!
special mention: their star def makes him wear a monkey children’s leash
So! Danny is the head of R&D at WayneTech, and he often works closely with Bruce and Lucius when they want him to make "Proof of Concept" Gadgets and Vehicles. He doesn't question the absurdity of some of the stuff he builds, he was raised by Mad Scientists after all, all of it seems perfectly normal to him!
But he has noticed something concerning about his Boss.
He really needs to get his Partying in control. Every time he comes into work he has eyebags covered by makeup, some bruises from tripping while drunk, and he is always super cagey about what he did last night. Danny asked some of his coworkers about it, and they noticed it too.
They also bring up that he sometimes comes into work with a really foggy mind, which is probably the aftereffects of doing some kind of drugs at whatever party he was at the previous night.
Even his Hangovers seem really bad! Worse than usual, but he powers through them and keeps acting like his normal Himbo self! Danny realizes that Bruce needs to calm down. He has Kids to take care of, and Alfred needs less work on his plate
So he contacts a bunch if Bruce's Friends, his Family, and even a few coworkers who brought up their concerns to him, and he stages an Intervention.
...
Bruce didn't know what to expect when he walked into the conference room at Wayne Enterprises. He had been called in by Danny, his head of R&D, for a Meeting earlier that day, but Danny had failed to explain the purpose of the Meeting.
He had barely made it on time. He had spent the entire night chasing down Scarecrow, and a slip up had caused him to get hit by some Fear Toxin, which took forever to work its way out of his system. It didn't help that the Antidote gave him a splitting headache.
Bruce opened the door to the Conference Room, and was met with a mishmash of faces. Clark was sitting close to the head of the Table, with Lois at his right, and Diana to hers. In the crowed he could also see Dick and Steph holding in barely contained laughter, with Tim looking a little lost to the side. Damian looked as if he would rather be anywhere else, Duke was looking as list as Tim, and Cass was just smirking at him with a look of amusement.
He could also see the faces of various employees of Wayne Enterprises, among them being Lucius and Tam.
What was going on?
The door closed behind him, and he turned to see Danny standing behind him.
Dick is thrown back in time to a couple days before his past self is scheduled to leave on the mission to space, the one during which Jason will die.
Past Dick gets a very frantic and concerning phone call from someone claiming to be his future self, begging him not to go on the mission. And for some reason he‘s supposed to keep an eye on Jason? What the hell is that about? They’re not that close…
when i played disco elysium for the first time i was so sure you could take a picture with kim. because in the game they tell you that kims camera can only make two photos, so naturally i was like OKAY kim, take a picture of that dead guy and after lets make a selfie together<33 turns out there is a much more important photo to take, but maybe they could take a selfie together on a more meaningful occasion for both of them :)
buggy who turns to shanks one night after they've reunited and says softly, with indecipherable look in his eyes and says, "i'm not in love with you anymore." and shanks, shocked beyond belief, heart aching with a want he didn't even know he had, with a need he hadn't even realized was there, thinks quietly to himself, i didn't know you ever were
Four gave a ton of unnoticed help when Twilight was injured
The fight with Wild was difficult, and I know we're all concerned about his negative view of the shadow crystal
But Four did something that no one else really thought of to help- He took care of Twi's stuff
From the beginning he told Twilight to not worry about them
So Four took care of pretty much everything but the others (that Sky and Wars handled)
He took care of Epona
Which is so very important- he took care of Twilight's horse. After her arrival at the stable Four followed up on her
And for Epona, a horse so attached to her human, having some company can help so much for reassurance
He took care of Twilight's stuff
He got Twi's shield- his bags and equipment, and organized it into one place
And he was worried. He obviously found the shadow crystal while handling Twi's stuff, but his negative reactions to it were out of concern.
Also- because of his placement in this scene
I'm fairly convinced Four was ready to start cooking before Wild showed up (since he's beside the counter with food supplies). At the very least he had the basket of fruit out for everyone -but he was literally standing with food behind him- he thought of everything
And he did housekeeping!
Wars payed for the inn, so Four took care of the inn
Realistically these boys were probably not too concerned with tidyness. Four got all of Twi's things on one table, and took care of the room they stayed in
Organizing tables and Twi's things, having food supplies ready, and opening the curtains- overall he was the one tidying up the inn
Four helped in a huge way! He took care of Twi's horse (Epona is so important), his equipment and shield and bag, as well as the other rooms in the inn
Four filled in all the little tasks that others didn't think of. He helped in ways that were needed, but not obvious
There's a lot of problems with the shadow crystal and with Wild, and I don't know what's gonna happen in the future
But don't forget this- don't forget that Four was one who stepped up in an almost unnoticeable way
Don't forget that when everyone was barely holding it together, Four visited Twilight's horse and took care of his things
No matter what develops in the future- this amount of care shown is important ya know?
Especially time pressure. He'd probably disagree and say he works better when he has time to plan and no pressure, but I mean c'mon, the evidence speaks for itself.
Nate knows it after one job with Hardison - probably soon than that, let's be honest. The others figure it out at the same time or in quick succession. And they proceed to throw Hardison - completely unawares - into situations where his prowess is needed under a time crunch.
Hardison: Great, we made it in! Now how are we doing this complicated next part that involves electronics in less than 2 minutes?
The whole team: No idea, that's your job.
Hardison: .......... Wait, what?!
The whole team: 90 seconds.
And the best part is, he always delivers! Need to defuse a bomb on a plane with only moments to spare? Call Alec Hardison who's not even on the damn plane and has probably never defused a bomb in his life! Need to break into a car that has an 'impenetrable' security system in under a couple minutes while a whole bunch of car thieves watch? Call Alec Hardison who definitely does not know the first thing about car jacking!
I just love how this keeps happening and, every time, Hardison is keen to be involved and keep the con running smoothly, but always gets completely blindsided when they want him to do something that doesn't fall under any of the specialties, so it must fall under his.
Alec Hardison is king and you will never convince me otherwise.
I rarely make tumblr posts, but I am so infuriated by this situation I need to say something about it.
Five Hargreeves, who spent 45 years alone in a post-apocalyptic world, and every single moment of his life since was spent trying to get back to his family. The Five who ran himself dry for 2 weeks straight trying to stop the end of the world, and reunite his family. The Five who slaughtered an entire board of directors just to ensure him family's safety. Who turned back time himself, while bleeding out on the floor, just to save his siblings. You're telling me, that the Five whose entire motivation for living was once saving his family, is the same Five, who in s4 has entirely given up, and in the Subway is the one trying to convince Lila to stop looking after 6 and a half years? The Five who never once stopped trying to return to his family in all 45 years of surviving alone, decides to settle down in a greenhouse and live out a cottagecore life?
Furthermore, the same Five who told Lila that Diego loved her, who reassured his brother that his wife wasn't cheating on him and loved him dearly, the same Five who got on with Lila only due to the fact that they both cared for and loved Diego, the person they had in common, is the same Five who stole his brother's wife, whom he had three children with, just because the writers were excited that Aidan Gallagher was finally legal?
Five who hated authority, who despised when people gave him commands, who wanted nothing more than to retire in s3, is now working for the CIA and willingly calling his boss, 'sir'?
Five who used to be so paranoid and suspicious of everyone and everything, who used to solve problems alone and came to epiphanies that saved the world, who didn't even trust a past version of himself, also didn't realise that his boss of many years had an umbrella tattooed on his wrist?
Everything that once stood out about his character is now gone, as if the writers themselves entirely forgot about his existence until the last moment, and added him in as an afterthought, without thinking of the effect he would have on the story.
