You guys wanna know when the things I wished for, hoped for, visualized and manifested actually started to appear to me, to become my reality? When I understood and learned how to ENJOY THE PROCESS!
Let’s yap a bit… ;)
Tumblr media
Us as immediate people in an immediate society end up focusing entirely on the results, we only see the things we wish for as results, as finish lines. What we fail to do is see the start line and the path that leads to the end.
I don’t want to sound corny, but it’s really all about that Hannah Montana movie song “The Climb”. We only think about how fast we will get there, how life will be when we get there, how happy it will be when we get there. Well, here’s the thing: if you’re not happy and grateful throughout the way, don’t even expect to be happy on the finish line. Our goals are not essentially what make us happy, they’re proofs of our capacity and work. What actually makes someone’s life happy and amazing, is the way that person behaves and conditions their mind WHILE chasing all of these dreams. It’s all about your methods, it’s all about your feelings, your reactions to the world, the way you act towards people. Don’t think you’ll be happy and achieve the greatest things when you live your life and answer to the world bitterly, in a rush, not paying much mind to it.
I know this is obvious, but just so that no one is confused and comes for me after: I’m not saying every day is going to be incredible, I’m not saying that you’re not allowed to be sad, angry, uncomfortable, jealous, disgusted. These are all perfectly normal and human emotions, and everyone should feel them—it just shows you’re alive. This concept of being 24/7 happy and grateful and “Oh my God, everything’s incredible all the time” it’s just not sustainable nor healthy (+, obviously, not real). What we should do, instead, is allow these emotions to be felt, and then act upon them understanding why they’re there and how we can soothe them, or make them a little less strong. For example, understand where your anger comes from, is it truly someone’s fault, why are we feeling it. Not block it, not try to stop it from being felt—but understand it. And then, after thinking (even meditating, if you like) about it, let it go, and let it be felt still, if you think it’s the right thing. Don’t ask too much of yourself always, sometimes we really just need to scream for a second on our pillow or shed a tear in our room. It’s perfectly alright and also healthy!
Have fun, make friends, create good memories with these friends, study, live your life to the fullest. Meet new people, go to new places, discover new music, books, art, movies that make you feel something. Laugh with people you love, create memories through pictures, do some risky things, you don’t need to always be so careful about everything. Some lesions make us stronger. And while you’re doing everything else, manifest your dreams, work towards it, put in the effort, visualize, believe you’re worth and destined for that, acknowledge you already have everything you need to get there and that, actually, you are already there.
Learn to actually live your life on the way to your dreams, not just survive the path. When you look at life with gratitude and love, life looks back—and you’ll feel it.
Tumblr media
As always, you’re free to agree or disagree with me on the various topics I talk about. It’s my own experience and the way it’s been for me. Feel free to also share your stories on comments and/or reblogs! I’ll love to see it.
That’s it for today’s yapping session. Love, Seiko ♡

The more details coming out about Luigi Mangione; the more it really seems dumb as shit for that CEO to die considering so many fuckers elected one to the Presidency so I don’t buy that many people hating CEOs
I don’t blame people for not shedding tears over Brian Thompson but at the same time; the killer being richer than him and the real reason why the man died was because of some bs reasons.
If Mangione was serious about US Healthcare and making changes, why didn’t he ask his cousin to help him? Ya know the Republican politician he’s related to? Or better yet, since he is from a wealthy ass family; how come he didn’t work with local Democrats to try and at least get better healthcare in his state? Which is why Mangione is full of shit.
He had some pins in his back and his dick didn’t work so he wanted to take his shit out on someone. The fuck of it all, not only did someone pointlessly die; but that many people believe he did this for “ heroic reasons” when it’s actually cold blooded murder. The words don’t align with the actions and for someone as smart as he is and the access he had; we would’ve seen his ass working with his local and state Democrats.
Can’t believe all the fan art and fanfics that are popping up. That’s next level insanity. I bet some of these fucks also do the same for Daniel Penny but won’t post it publicly but in their little group chats

Lily, reading a muggle newspaper: And the government would rather half the miners die than cede them anything in the strikes. Its so evil. Capitalism is such a cruel system. Why did so many people vote for the fucking Tories this year?
James, who's only ever known an unregulated small business economy: Isn't capitalism good for the lower classes? It means you can make your own money even if you weren't born with land or wealth...
Lily: I feel like you just called me a commoner.
...
Lily: They're privatising a bunch of vital services now - just selling them off so they're not a government expense. Now the people who need them can't afford them - they were supposed to belong to everyone!

Call Your Insurance - benefit questions
I get it, phone calls are scary! Here's some scenarios to show you what to expect when you call your insurance company. Don't be afraid to ask follow up questions - the only 'stupid question' is one you don't ask!
[beginning of call] Insurance rep: Hi, thanks for calling your insurance company, my name is X. How can I help you today? You: Hi, I'm calling to ask about my benefits. Rep: Okay, can I get your member ID number? [you provide] and can you verify your name and date of birth for me? [you verify. they may also ask for your phone number at this point.] Rep: Alright, I've got you pulled up here. What questions do you have today?
[example one] You: I think I need to see a specialist and wanted to know what my benefits are for lab work. Rep: Okay, give me a minute to get that information for you. [answer will obviously vary! they may ask clarifying questions to help find an accurate answer, such as diagnosis/issue you are seeking help for. they may also have to provide a disclaimer that they cannot guarantee benefits quoted] It looks like you have a $45 copay for specialist office visits, and that can include some basic lab work if it is billed on the same claim. If they send it to a separate lab, then your In Network benefit is 80% after deductible. You: Can you check to see if the specialist is In Network? And do I need a referral? Rep: Sure, what's the doctor's name? [they may tell you to verify with the provider if they are In Network, as not all insurance reps will have access to 100% confirm a provider's network contract status, unfortunately.]
[example two] You: I'm going to need surgery. What are my benefits? Rep: I can look that up for you. Where will you be having the surgery? [surgery benefits can depend on whether you are inpatient, outpatient, or in-office] You: At the hospital, I might have to be there a few days. Rep: Okay, inpatient services require precertification. Your doctor will need to start that process by submitting a precert request to our fax number or through our website. The benefit for hospital services is 80% after deductible. It looks like you've already met your deductible, so that means you'll be paying 20% until you hit your out of pocket max, which is $4000 for In Network services. You: Does that include my deductible?
[end of call] Rep: Is there anything else I can help you with today? You: No that's all. Can I get a reference number for the call? [feel free to ask for their name again if you didn't catch it or forgot! some systems don't have reference numbers and just use the rep's name and the date, so its always good to keep notes of when you called, who you spoke with, and what they told you!]

"It is important to note that CVS got big through a series of acquisitions and not due to its quality of service."
It is also important to note that CVS owns Aetna health insurance AND it owns Caremark (a Prescription Benefits Manager, which determines which drugs will be accessible to customers and where) AND it owns multiple chains of doctors offices. TALK ABOUT CONFLICTS OF INTEREST. CVS is being investigated by the DOJ for violating antitrust law and suspected Medicare overcharging.
And CVS/Aetna isn't the only megaprovider threatening the safety of its patients. UnitedHealth Group owns United Healthcare, OptumRx (PBM), Optum Health (doctors offices), and has a deal with Walgreens through their Medicare Advantage plan. UHG is also being investigated by the DOJ for violating antitrust regulations and Medicare billing practices on suspicion of doctors mischaracterizing patients illnesses to increase payments from the government.
And Cigna owns PBM and prescription mailing service Express Scripts. They do not own any doctors offices or brick and mortar pharmacies. Cigna is not being investigated by the DOJ at the moment, but they are trying to buy Humana (a Medicare advantage provider), which shows their vested interest in becoming like the other two megaproviders.
All 3 companies' respective Prescription Benefits Managers are suing the FTC for trying to stop them from overcharging for insulin.

the kids online safety act passed the u.s. senate.
long story short (for anyone who hadn't heard of this before) the kids online safety act, aka kosa, is a bill that will censor online content and resources for lgbtq+ matters, reproductive healthcare, activism (INCLUDING PALESTINE AND LIKELY OTHER CRISES GOING ON LIKE IN CONGO OR SUDAN), mental health, etc. everywhere--its effects likely won't be contained to just america.
today, july 30th, 2024, the senate passed it 91-3. it has officially moved to the house of representatives.
is this a pretty massive setback? yes. do you have every right to be scared, sad, angry, or whatever else about this happening? absolutely. but should you give up hope completely? NO!
even though kosa passed the senate, the house is on break/august recess at the moment. we have around an entire month to get emails, calls, and faxes in to house reps, maybe more depending on when they decide to vote on it.
should it pass the house and get signed into law, we still have a whole 18 months before it actually goes into effect. this is plenty of time for digital rights orgs (e.g. fight for the future, the electronic frontier foundation) and other groups that oppose it to file a lawsuit against it. even if, worst-case scenario, it flies through the house immediately after the recess ends, we can still fight this up to march 2026.
so, yes, remember what's at stake here, but also remember that it's not over yet. we lost a battle, not the war.
below are some resources to learn more about kosa and how to contact your reps (first link) + a page that lets you directly contact progressive house reps, sign an open letter opposing the bill, and view others' testimonies against it (second link):
FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT.

Since we mostly talk about success stories here, let me tell you about a current situation I’m dealing with—and how I accidentally manifested a bad thing because of FEAR.
Let’s yap a bit… ;)
Tumblr media
I’m having to face a very frustrating situation right now, so I wanted to share it with you guys and maybe get some advice on the matter you may have (really, feel free to comment, I’ll love to read).
It all started at university when I saw a really cute boy that was exactly my ideal type. Eventually, I discovered he was actually a former classmate and friend of a really good friend and colleague of mine. I followed him on Instagram, he followed me back. Our eyes would meet here and there, at lunch time, whenever we passed each other along the hallways, you name it. But, for some reason, I was really really really shy to do anything (I mean it, I couldn’t even say “Hi”), and he’s an introvert that (according to his friends) will rarely start a conversation.
But here’s the thing: I decided to make the first move! I’m a very extroverted and talkative person, I’m not shy AT ALL (that’s, also, why I was so confused and intrigued by the way I felt around him), so I thought it was worth a shot. I texted him, he answered, and we exchanged brief texts during the weekend, it felt nice and was going well—but I was super nervous and overthinking EVERYTHING I would send him. I engineered every text like it was the most important thing ever, I would send them to my friends first for their approval, I did everything you can imagine when it comes to overthinking texts. Well, it kinda attracted a bad situation.
Just before Monday, when we would see each other on campus, he simply ghosted my last text. As simple as that. And, when classes started again, he not only kept ghosting me, but whenever he’d see me he’d just give me subtle looks and nothing more. I’m not embarrassed to say it really bruised my ego, it didn’t hurt me entirely because I wasn’t attached to him since we had just met, but it messed with my self esteem.
Now that I see it clearer, I can understand some patterns on the way I acted towards the situation and how I overestimated him completely. I wanted him to like me so bad, that I became obsessed with the idea of ‘looking good’ for him (not necessarily physically). I thought of what I’d say, what I’d do, what I’d wear. I focused all my energy on him, and, well, there was no left for ME.
I acted (and, unfortunately, started unconsciously believing) like he was so much more important than me, I worried more about what he liked or wanted than I did—plus, it all happened inside my head. We barely had interactions and this thought still consumed my head. [It sounds dumb, I know, but it’s how it went and I can’t change the past.] What terrified me the most was probably the fact that this situation made me doubt my manifestation capacity, I was trying to manifest him so bad that it backfired and I was the one who got obsessed.
It’s the Murphy Law (briefly: you end up attracting the things you fear the most, if you allow them to consume your thoughts). I was so scared of not “conquering” him, that the worst happened. I was terrified of even the thought of not being able to pull him or being someone he didn’t like—and, still, it happened. I changed small parts of me in order to fit the assumption I had of someone he would like better or things I thought he’d prefer, I pretended even to myself. I couldn’t see how bad and how dumb of an action that was.
So, even though I’m still trying to fix this damage inside of me, and working towards getting better at feeling enough for myself and not needing anyone else to feel complete, I guess my last words on this posts should be a reminder to myself and to anyone else that needs it: don’t EVER change yourself in order to please someone else. You’re more than enough, you’re loved, you’re worth it. And I’m not saying this in a corny way, but it’s reality—in the majority of the cases, the person that we’re trying to “please” changing ourselves, might actually not be interested because they sense that persona of ours false, and the only thing you we had to do was be ourselves all along.
Well, live and learn.
[At least now I know I’m truly good at manifesting, ‘cause I was able to manifest it pretty damn quickly (even if it wasn’t really what I wanted 🤷🏻‍♀️).]
Tumblr media
I’d love to hear from you guys if you’ve had any simular experiences, or if that ever happened to you. Also, if anyone knows of great ways to prevent obsession over “crushes” and a way I can reverse this ‘fear manifestation’ mindset, sharing will be appreciated! It’s been a while since I last manifested someone romantically, and I’m still kinda ego-bruised, so I’d love to know about ways of doing this while still keeping ourselves obsession-free for future experiences.
As always, feel free to comment (and now scold me, too. I know I deserve it, LOL). Thank you for reading!
Love, Seiko ♡

However, the telemedicine sector is expansive, teeming with potential for innovation and growth. Building Upon Practo's Foundation

If you live in America and have been having trouble getting your prescriptions refilled since yesterday it's not the pharmacy and it's not the provider, the entire network is compromised.
My work literally closed refill requests and told all the providers not to send any medications, just to hope it's fixed Monday and take care of everything from yesterday and today and the weekend then.

There is separation of church and state.
Americans are more open-minded about candidates from parties other than the Democratic and Republican party
