I want you to know that whenever I change my interest/fandom. You also happen to consistently post about the same thing and I find this eerie and funny. It started with Spiderverse then FNAF, Gravity Falls, (never got into Arcane I’ll say) and now DC. We haven’t always “matched” or whatever but I wanna say I’ve never been more consistently in tune with another account’s interests as I have been with this one lol.

What if Lighter's s/o just brings home a box of kittens that were abandoned in a box and left out in the rain?

i think he’s a little awkward with them at first but he’s like a kitten magnet. he may not know how to interact with them but they literally choose to go to him first instead. the problem is, his clothes can have some prickly parts so you’re telling him to be EXTRA CAREFUL with them.

first thing to do with them was to give them proper baths, to remove any dirt and dust from their fur. most of the kittens weren’t fussy and stayed put but there was one little kitten that was almost snake like and kept freeing itself from his hand. it took many tries to finally get all of the kittens washed up and dried, leaving both of you a little wet.

after some quick feeding for these little balls of energy, they’re excitedly climbing lighter like he’s their own jungle gym. since he does have all of these sharp points, he’s definitely getting a little worried over them but they seem to be having fun. maybe they see it as little challenges…

you’re trying to get one of the kittens to come to you but they literally are stuck to him like he’s their mother. soon enough, they’re all slowly getting tired, choosing to cuddle up in his lap. he doesn’t want to show it but it is genuinely affecting him. how these little kittens were just abandoned in the outer ring, getting rained on, no warmth. he was so deep in thought that he didn’t realize he had started gently petting them as they slept.

your hand joining in with his was what snapped him out of his thoughts. he looked up and saw how affectionately you looked at them, even if they weren’t giving you as much attention as they gave him. he lets out a soft sigh then clears his throat. you’ll both think about what to do with them later, right now though…. he’s stuck like this until they wake up, isn’t he?

For some reason, supernatural has always smelled like oak paneling walls and cracked leather recliners and linoleum flooring and dust.

I don’t have synesthesia, but that’s the closest thing I can compare it to. Just watching an episode or looking at the fan art or reading a fic is a full sensory experience. It’s why I’ve never been able to get into the show.

Supernatural reminds me of things that were cheaply build decades ago and never meant to live past their expiration date, now worn away by generations that were never meant to experience them. It’s weird because I’m not really like this with any other piece of media, not to the point of unpleasantness. But something about spn fills me with anti-nostalgia and dread.

i've been out of fandom for a while now, but beauxbatons being portrayed (in fandom bc canon is never giving us decent worldbuilding) as a "noble", fluffy, almost regency-adjacent kind of school, with ballet and fencing and culinary as extra-curriculars is so dumb to me, specially because no matter if the wizarding world stopped in the middle ages, you don't think the revolutionary wave that swept through france would also reach them? don't you think they would lean into dueling, into alchemy, as close as they can to science and humanism and as far away from the royalty, versailles aesthetic as possible?
