My name is Nexys, and I am queer and disabled. For years I have been striving to create the most tight-knit safe space (that's ACTUALLY safe) on the internet, using content creation as common ground. And we're really starting to take off!

Cheaply.

Watercolor sets made by Crayola. Acrylics made by Crayola. The brushes these kits come with are frustrating, cheap brushes are typically $3-5 each. You can spend as much as you want on a brush, the cheap ones are surprisingly good. This is extremely common advice, this isn't just from me.

When you find "ah I like this" go with a student grade of whichever you prefer. Or both! I find watercolor frustrating. I find acrylic doesn't look graphic as much as I want. I fell in love with a paint called gouache because it is very flat, layers nicely.

I would not start with oil paint. It is expensive, requires a lot of special care to keep you safe. Fumes, cleaning agents, etc. Fall in love with painting, then if you want, give oil a try. Be prepared for days (weeks, months, literally) for paint to dry. This isn't to scare you off it -- it's great -- but I wouldn't start here.

Oil has tremendous variety of things you can do with it.

Watercolor is ethereal.

Acrylic has great graphic qualities, lots of range.

I like gouache because it looks almost animated (there is a reason for that, it was/is used in animation background sometimes). It's tricky and tempermental.

Paint by numbers kits if you don't draw. Maybe even if you do and just want to dive into painting.

Mixed media sketchbooks. Lets you experiment a lot, cheaply. The big thing about sketchbook paper is it comes in a few forms -- very cheap (newsprint) and takes dry media (pencils, etc.) well, cheap (mixed media, lets you experiment quickly and a lot), and expensive (hot press has no texture, cold press has a texture).

Painting needs something that can get wet and not fall apart.

Start with a cheap mixed media sketchbook and see how you like it. Move on from there.

Ton of videos across lots of social media and much content. Has the advantage of multiple perspectives, you don't get trapped in "I think this is crap" or "This is the best" versus your thoughts.

Start cheaply.

Art stores and product manufacturers exist to make money. This is a neutral statement. The point is they are a store, they will sell you whatever you think you need, whether you need it or not.

Conversely!

Some things that are not universally useful but sold in art stores are great labor savers. Some people look down at disposable palette paper, others need the flexibility because they have a hard time washing palettes... etc.

Start cheaply. Look at hardware stores, lots of duplicate functions in items.

I come from a background of digital art and a lifetime of business where "ah where the BONES ARE WE GOING TO FIND MONEY FOR--"

Have fun.

Get in deep and frustrated and then drink the frustration (but not the paint water) because you realize you're frustrated because you can FEEL how it should look but you can't get there yet.

The journey is amazing.

I've started looking at the mountain of business problems I have been sorting through for the last few years.

"Okay. How is this supply chain issue with stationery compared to a painting I want to do of the piranha plants of Super Mario Brothers?"

This is literally something I asked myself.

It took me out of the problem (supply chain issue, boxes, our office size, the number of stationery items I want to design) and forced me to look at it as a painting (structure, where does it stay simple, where does it get complex -- what makes sense -- ah, PDF downloads).

Paint.

Learn by doing.

Start cheaply.

Keep going. Build up.

Disclaimer: The story it’s set in 2021 and it will follow their relationship through the LOT leg in the US. Since this is nothing but fiction, I will be following some of the real timeline but also adding my own stuff. On top of that, I won’t be basing myself on Harry’s actual posts.

Who is Vegetta?

Had to wait until my hands stopped shaking for this one, I love Vegetta so much. He was recently — miraculously — announced for the QSMP, so here's a rundown for English fans of both who he is and his lore. 

Vegetta777 is a Spanish Youtuber who is one of, if not THE biggest pillar of the Spanish community. He's been doing content for over 15 years now.

He's the creator of the Karmaland series, which he started when he was around Quackity's age.

I cannot emphasize enough: Vegetta doesn't do series or events or tournaments EVER, so him accepting the invitation is a huge deal. This was his exact commentary on it:

Vegetta is very fond of Quackity after interacting with him in Karmaland 5, and he's spoken multiple times about how much Quackity's impressed him. He also said Quackity will be bigger than him someday :') He's very supportive of the new generation, and he spoke highly of Spreen today too.

Vegetta is one of the most talented Minecraft builders out there, and he's fast

While most of the other Karmaland boys were still living in basic houses, Vegetta built a CASTLE within a super short time

Vegetta loves cats. In Karmaland he had an entire cat rescue with 50+ cats (and yes, he’s named every single one of them). IRL, he shares lots of adorable cat photos and videos. 

His skin, like his name, is based on the Dragon Ball character Vegeta. Vegetta777 is basically the yassified version of Vegeta (just like Phil is the yassified version of Uruhara).

In Karmaland 5, Vegetta was a bit of a wizard, and he had a flock of crows / ravens (remind you of anyone?) 

Vegetta is sometimes called "the father of Minecraft", so many people (myself included) are ESPECIALLY excited to see him and Phil interact because they have a lot of similarities.

Vegetta is one of the heroes of Karmaland and the unofficial leader of their group. In terms of lore, he's essentially a demigod / minor god, though it's not as direct as Sapo  Peta's contact with them.

Vegetta is typically a staunch rule-follower, however, since he's not in control of the series, he said: "I feel like Rubius: 'Let's see what I can do to destroy everything, let's look for all the legal loopholes,' get ready Quackity, I'm the new Rubius!" (LMAO)

Vegetta’s the king of “stay in your own lane” he never gets into drama or gets involved in controversies, he just watches the dumpster fires from the sidelines like the rest of us

He almost never wears a shirt in the series (and honestly? Good for him)

His character is also, canonically, absolutely shredded

It's impossible to talk about Vegetta's lore without also talking about Rubius, so buckle in because this one's a doozy. I can't cover everything without this post becoming longer than it already is, but I'll do my best to summarize what I can:

Starting with Karmaland 4 and continuing into Karmaland 5 and beyond, Rubius and Vegetta have created the world's most torturous slow-burn telenovela-esque love story.

Rubegetta (Rubius x Vegetta) is the most popular Karmaland ship that, to some extent, has become an inside joke between the boys and the community. I'll elaborate on this more in Rubius' post.

To simplify years and years of lore and drama, Rubius and Vegetta love each other, but they are incapable of being in an actual relationship. I've talked about it in depth before, but Vegetta said it best in this metaphor-filled exchange with Sapo Peta and Willy: Sapo Peta: I wanted to ask you about your relationship with that Rubius guy. Vegetta: Oh, yes well Rubius likes to be with me a lot, but at the same time he likes to snack everywhere, and he never finishes eating the morcilla (blood sausage). Sapo Peta: So he rejects you? Vegetta: It's not that he rejects me, it's that it doesn't finish clearing up, you know? We could say that our relationship is like a hamburger. WiIIy: You prepare it and he doesn't eat it. Vegetta: Exactly, he doesn't finish you know?

Or, as another person phrased it:

The fault doesn't just lie with Rubius however; Vegetta himself can be pretty oblivious.

In Karmaland 4, despite the fact Rubius and Vegetta had a kid together and got married, it still didn't resolve anything. As soon as the vows were said and they were married, Rubius revealed it was all just a ploy to get Vegetta's diamonds and immediately asked for a divorce.

In Karmaland 5, after deciding he'd had enough of Rubius' BS, Vegetta decided to marry someone else (Lolito), but Rubius burst in at the last moment to stop the wedding. We all thought he'd finally confess his love and stop being so emotionally constipated, but instead he proposed to Lolito solely so Vegetta would remain single. (They're a mess, what can I say)

To quote a meme shared by another Spanish fan, Vegetta's reaction to that was basically: “You don’t want me to be with you, and you don’t want me to be with someone else. How miserable do I have to be for you to be happy?”

I do want to emphasize that even though Rubius and Vegetta sometimes have relationship issues / communication issues, it doesn’t diminish their friendship in the slightest. Even after both wedding disasters, they were back to speaking to each other the next week, being flirty and laughing together. Yes, they have issues, but their love for each other remains – despite everything.

(I should also note here that, even while engaged to Lolito, Vegetta was still flirty with Rubius).

Vegetta is very close friends with Luzu, who supported him during the fallout from both failed marriages.

In Karmaland 4, Rubius and Vegetta had a son named Brayan Dobluque (a mix of both their names).

There's too much Rubegetta lore for me to cover everything, but Glay has a massive thread of translated Rubegetta clips I highly recommend watching if you'd like more context.

One clip I recommend is the Meteor date, which is one of the few instances where Rubius is honest vis-à-vis his emotions with Vegetta.

As a whole, their friendship / relationship is a romcom novela for sure, but sometimes they'll catch you off-guard with some romantic BS that'll make your heart ache. They really do love each other; they just don't know how to commit.

Vegetta is bi! (Both real life Vegetta and character Vegetta). Pretty much every single character in Karmaland is on the ‘ol rainbow spectrum somewhere.

Lore aside, I feel like Vegetta, and pretty much all the Karmaland boys in general, have the least machismo (toxic masculinity) I've ever seen. They're all genuinely sweet guys who aren't afraid to be flirty and play gay characters in their queer little telenovela Minecraft series. (With the exception of Willy, who we like to joke is the "token straight friend"). Vegetta's a cool guy, and he's a great addition to the QSMP. I'm excited for you all to meet him!

Respect Neo-Pagans and Our Gods!

Although they probably will never see it (or care), this post is meant for Hollywood, Netflix, Marvel and all other industries and streaming platforms that are hosting shows based on but twisting pagan or polytheist "mythology" or ancient religions such as Gods of Egypt, Immortals, Clash of the Titans, Thor: Love and Thunder, DT17, Supernatural, Kaos, Twilight of the Gods, Blood of Zeus, Percy Jackson, Xena: Warrior Princess, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Record of Ragnarok, American Gods, Lore Olympus, etc.

The trend of creating content that demonizes, humiliates, or insults our Gods is upsetting and unfair. Creative and artistic license is one thing, but it's a double-standard for content about the monotheistic god or religions to be treated with respect even when under academic criticism while are ours are depicted as one-dimensional, villainized and humiliated. We are asking for that same respect.

Yes, content about any kind of "mythology" is fun, but the modern world needs to please remember that these were and still are RELIGIONS to many people around the world, myself included.

People worshipped these Gods, listened to their stories around the fire, married under their vows, raised their children, went to war, and but also built magnificent structures, wrote literature, prayed in their temples, and many more!

In fact, we still have vestiges of their worship! The names of the months and days of the week in the Western world come from Roman or Norse/Germanic Gods, the Olympic Games were originally dedicated to Zeus, the Hippocratic Oath was originally a prayer offered to Apollo, people from all over the ancient world visited the shrine and oracle at Apollo's Delphi, and many more examples.

And while yes, sometimes people were sacrificed to some pagan Gods (not so much the Greeks or Romans), but are we really going to pretend that many more people haven't died in the name of Christianity or Islam??

Lord Zeus wasn't just some womanizer, he was also King of the Gods, Father of Gods and Humans, the God of Hospitality, Oaths, Lightning, Law, Order, Authority, Monarchy, etc.

This was also Lord Zeus of the ancient Greeks:

My wardrobe is actually nowhere near where I want it to be, I have a decent amount of shirts, but so many other gaps to fill. Especially since I have garments in a variety of colours that don't all go together. I need more pants and jackets and everyday waistcoats! I've outgrown so many of my older waistcoats, and pants wear out so quickly, and I've still never made an overcoat.

**Important Announcement**

I've been thinking about the future of the Maker's Market for a long time and needed to decide whether continuing to make mods is something I can continue affording financially and with my spare time. But the thought of quitting made me really sad.

Making mods is something I enjoy doing and being able to share them with the community makes me really happy. I know many people would also be sad if things ended here.

this was a team decision, and due to the lack of motivation and health issues (mental and physical) among us, we've come to the conclusion to simply let sleeping dogs lie. But when we released the demo, y'all said it felt forced. So it didn't feel fun anymore. It just became stressful in the end. Honestly the LMK fandom is just a whole disaster to the point so many are just at each other's throat. I just really hope it gets better for all of you.

In all honesty LLL was a mess. Early on we had the Scott issue, and then later more personal issues that slowed work down. Even when we had a pickup on motivation the constant pressure and rude comments were too much. I could handle it better than the other members of LLL, however it doesn't mean i should have to. So in one post you’re ranting about people on Twitter stealing jokes and in another you’re reposting other people’s art….

I think you have a deep misunderstanding of the problem.

There is content creation... Someone makes a thing.

There is content curation... Someone shares a thing someone else made.

There is attribution... Someone credits the creator of the content.

There is theft... Someone takes credit for content they did not make.

I love content creation. Artists are great.

I love content curation. There is way too much content on the internet and without people sorting through it and finding the best stuff, we would all go nuts looking at all the bad stuff just to find a few hidden gems. When I was doing this as a job and when I wasn't creating content, I used to go through about a thousand images per day just to find 5 to post on my blog. It's actually a lot of work.

I love attribution. One of the main ways I grew my following was by content curators sharing my work and crediting me.

People like the thing. They see who made it. They follow that creator.

I do not like theft. Sometimes you can't find a source for something. I understand that happens and I struggle with that sometimes myself. But people sharing something they did not create and taking credit for its creation is super scummy. Especially if they are erasing watermarks and adding their own. This will give people the impression they made the thing, so they won't even try to find the creator of that content. The original content creator will never get the benefit of more followers.

So, whenever I curate content, I always try to find the source. Especially if it is a creative work that took a lot of time and effort to make. I also try to give people multiple ways to consume that creator's content.

If you look at the art you mentioned, you can see links to several places to follow the artist.

And if I cannot find a source, what I will absolutely not do, is give people the impression I am responsible for creating the content. And oftentimes someone will recognize the creator and I am able to add attribution after the fact.

As both a content creator and a content curator, these are the best practices I have developed over years of doing this. Some people accuse curators of being just "reposters" and being lazy for not creating their own content, but they are an extremely valuable asset to artists. We need ethical curators to share our work and attribute it properly so we can build audiences.

What we don't want are content thieves and those assholes who say, "credit goes to the artist who made this."

Hopefully you have a better understanding of the issue now.

it can be so easy to start creating for others and stop doing it for yourself, but that's where it fucks up every time. there has to be a pure vein of creation just for creation's sake, for your own wild and weird indulgence in the things that caught your attention and stoked your passion. when you trade that for external praise, you begin to lose your natural love for the core experience, and it becomes work. you become obsessed with numbers, with interactions, your "place" among others and before you know it, some bullshit hierarchy has formed and all that matters is no one overtaking you, no one doing the things you were doing first because what if they do them better? what if people stop looking at what you're creating? what if you gave everything you had, and everybody leaves anyway?

create for yourself. create for YOU and you alone, in at least one area of your life. not for money, not for attention, not for validation. just one little piece of fertile earth preserved for your weird little universe of exploration and inspiration and delightful failures and unexpected brilliance.

of course it feels wonderful to have people praising your work, to have touched people in some small way, to be SOMEONE, but here's the thing. you already were someone. you were you. and this attention, this validation and praise and interaction... it never lasts. it can't last. everything passes. the only way to truly get people to stay longer than they would, is to give everything you have and more, to break yourself down into pieces and sell them off one by one, become a content machine, or worse, to become a person who steps on others to be taller. someone who polices what others create.

but none of it is real or lasting. tumblr isn't real. twitter isn't real. the cliques aren't real. of a hundred people you know in your fandom experience, three of them might be true friends.

what is real, and what lasts, is what you create.

that's what people will find in ten years time when scrolling AO3 at one AM after a horrible fucking day, if the internet hasn't gone down forever, and that is what touches people. not the things you made purely for validation or comments or popularity. the art you made for you. imagination through the lens of a person whose experiences have shaped them uniquely, beautiful and strange and unknowable to someone else who has not had that same life experience, yet there, available, open and inviting, would you like to feel something new?

so please, when you find yourself dedicating more time to your socials and the construct of your online persona than the actual thing you were creating that first set fire to your passion, think about this. if it won't matter in five years, don't give it more than 5 minutes.

when you find yourself thinking "if i write this, people will really love it and respond to it, it's what's popular right now, everyone's talking about it, this will get me back where i was before" my darling, no it won't. creating for the sole outcome of interaction and praise and attention is a waste of your beautiful energy.

i've made plenty of mistakes, i'm still making them as i go along, but i have never stopped creating for myself and i never will.

people will write the thing better than you, they WILL get more attention, comments, reblogs, impressions, likes, kudos, you'll never hold onto the height of it, because everything changes, everything passes and that's how it should be. passion is river; depriving your interests of momentum and variation will make it a stagnant pond. embrace the new, trust that it will feel good again in new ways and just keep creating what you love, for the one person who needs it most - you.

you make art for yourself first.

that's why you started.

A short goodbye, but not farewell! I'm not going to dance around it, so here it is: I'm taking a little break from socials this upcoming month. ( cue: gasppppp) I already mentioned last week that I'm getting a bit overwhelmed by all the content I see daily. I love all the art and the artist that share their work. I appreciate all of it and I really enjoy seeing everyone drawing things that make them happy. I enjoy drawing things myself, and I always will. I've had a few bad weeks creatively. It's not just a hobby, it's my job. I'm working on a big children's book, my first ever big publication. It is a tough project and it's taking up a lot of energy. I want it to look good and I want to deliver quality work for the author, who put her heart and soul into this book. However, it's getting more and more difficult to have faith in my own work when all day, every day, I see all these amazing, talented artists getting book deals, releasing products, making double figures from their art... And I know very well that everyone has their own process, that some of these people have been in the industry for years without getting anywhere, so trust the process. I can and will. I can trust my own process and I will get there eventually. Right now, though, it's hard to stay focused. I'm on my phone too much during the day and it has to stop. For my own health and for my work. So, long story short. I will be off my socials for 30 days, just to see what I can create without all the input from the internet. I'm going to work on the children's book (which is a fairytale book, by the way, so cool!) and on new character designs for my blog. I've started working on the teachers now, which is a lot of fun. Also, I'm working on opening a shop, so I'll put my energy towards that as well. I guess I have no idea what the next thirty days are going to bring me. I'm going to start tomorrow, so today (5 Feb) I will be checking my accounts still, just in case you have questions or concerns :) For now, this is it. I love you guys, and I'm so grateful for the support. Sharing my silly little drawings with you is very special <3

Chapter 1 : The garden

Lilies : often associated with purity, renewal ,and innocence.

 The sun was gleaming down, rays hitting my bare skin like a hug . As the morning dew dampened the flowers that bloomed around me .

My eyes peeled open as I was greeted with a kiss by a monarch fluttering its wings as a gentle wake up call . 

I rose up from my bed adorned with lilies , dandelions and an assortment of other  flowers.

Stretching my stiff arms, as I shake my hair out with a yawn I take time to admire my surroundings , the glass windows on all sides of me wrapped with vines and flowers, and the sun gleaming above , I reach up to rub my eyes with a groan . 

“Persephanie!” a voice from the entrance called out to me 

“Persephanie! It's time to wake up dear ” the feminine voice continued 

“ I told you , call me y/n when my mother isn't around .” I practically groan out in annoyance . 

“ Sorry dear , Y/n it’s time to wake up , lessons begin soon “ She chuckled out as she corrected herself .

A small smile appeared on my face , I can't be too upset by the slip ups by my caretakers having a soft spot for them  . As they raised me and provided me companionship when I felt lonely in this seemingly endless garden.

I finally remove my hands from my eyes as I softly look up at Iris . One of the caretakers my mom created out of clay to look after me. Her tender brown eyes gazed at me.

I wrap my arms around my knees as I pull them to my chest and bury my face in between them.

“5 more minutes “ i plead softy  

“ Sorry Y/n but this lesson is important! Your mother will be returning soon with news and I must prepare you !” Iris practically beams as she tugs me out of bed 

“ Straight to the bath young lady! Cora is awaiting your arrival , Time is of the essence!” she exclaimed her voice getting farther away as i rushed to the bath.

Oh? Mother is coming ? how unusual… Does she bear bad news? 

I ponder as I swiftly make my way to the bath . This can't be good … can it? 

I hastily make my way through the garden , the fields of flowers in full bloom as i pass , the bees and insects hard at work pollinating the plants I spend all my free time planting .

 What else am I to do here besides read, sleep, attend lessons? Everyday is the same here in the garden . I yearn for something new. I try not to get caught up in pointless wishful thinking. 

Nevertheless I can't help but wish for change on every shooting star that passes by in the sky . 

wishing i could jump on one and ride it far, far away from this tedious place . 

It's not the worst place to be , At least i'm not in tartarus or being forced to work against my will as a slave in the human realm .

I try to be as grateful as possible. A lot of people have it worse. I should be thankful to my mother for keeping me safe here! 

But my heart … it wants more, it wants to experience love to get to feel something other than dull unfulfilled emptiness .ahh …wishful thinking indeed 

The warm water rolled down my body as Cora attempted to rinse the soap off me 

“Cora,i can wash myself, I appreciate the help but it is not necessary “

Frustration evident in my voice as I move to grab the water pail myself. 

“ Yes honey , I understand but your mother made us so that you didn’t have too. I am only doing what I was created to , I apologize if you are upset by it .”

Her monotone voice repeating the same speech she always has. Unlike Iris, Cora takes her role very seriously . 

If it wasn’t for Iris she wouldn't allow me to do anything , not even brush my own teeth !

But she takes a step back and allows me to finish bathing on my own.

“Cora…” My voice quivered as i slowly brought my gaze to hers 

“ Yes my dear ?” she softly replied as she attempted to reach for my hair 

“ Why is mother coming?” i turn to face her , reaching up to do my own hair 

“  I'm unsure … hopefully she brings good news!” her eyes shifted away from mine, shoulders tensing up she rushed the words out I let out a small hum of acknowledgement , even they are afraid of mother .

They might be made from clay but they comprehend emotions just like the rest of us . Their features are as human as possible .I often forget they aren’t real people .

“ Ahh, I see … Yes, hopefully it is good!” this cant be good…

A knock from the door ripped me away from the anxious thoughts festering in my mind 

“Y/n!” iris called out 

“Dear, you must hurry! Your mother will be here any minute ! We must start todays lesson!“ ughhh i mentally groan as I pick up my body from the tub. Today is gonna be a long day.

I hate lessons… the way they drag on seemingly endless . Table etiquette i eat alone! ,Math lessons , History lessons ,  how zeus's father ate him and his siblings , i don't care! the same stories about people i’ve never met and probably never will!  

I can't leave the garden now matter how hard I try so what's the point! These lessons are useless . I'm a smart girl. I may be “ naïve” but only because I have no experience with the world ! if I got the chance I could be on my own! 

Mother would never allow that though . how can someone who is never there, someone i feel like i barely even know be so … overbearing i feel the weight of her around me even when she's not present

“Y/N! , you’ve zoned out again, must I start from the beginning “ Irises voice pierced my thoughts 

oh no i groaned internally this is gonna drag on forever-

“Persephone.” The chilling voice called out, shivers rolling down my body as I straightened my posture  

“Mother, welcome back .” I move to kneel into a curtsy, my gaze going straight to her feet , Afraid to make eye contact . 

“My child , come I have an important matter to discuss with you. “ She is already walking towards the green house I call a bedroom. By the time I look up, she's half way there. I quickly move, catching up to but remaining behind my mother .

The silence is suffocating . Mother's intense gaze analyzing every inch of me, as almost unnoticeable shudders roll down my body. I take slow, breaths to calm my erratic heart beat.

I’m sat at mother's feet in the living area of my room. The small loveseat being taken up by her flowy dress . She begins to gently combs through my hair , coiling my curls with her fingers 

“Mother , it's a pleasure to have you back , to what do I owe this visit?” I tensely voiced with a small gracious smile to break this terrible silence ,Finally looking up to meet her gaze  .

“ My lily “ she began, using the nickname she gave me when i was as small as the seeds i plant everyday 

“Zeus has decided to throw another one of his …extravagant  galas” the mock happy tone would have fooled anyone else but i noticed the slight twitch of her eye  

As i attempt to respond her cold voice cuts in 

“ He has decided that every god and goddess must be in attendance “

 Her already firm grip on my hair tightened causing a small look of discomfort to cross my face , quickly being replaced with a smile .

Why is she telling me this? Did she really come to rub the fact that I can't go in my face? A tight smile gracing my face 

“ Ahh , that’s nice i hope you enjoy it mother “ the words were rushed , trying to end this conversation quickly as possible , then she will leave and i won't have to see her again anytime soon 

“ Persephone.”  she calls my name  in a softer tone than i've ever heard from her 

“Yes?”

“ Zeus.. he has decided you must be in attendance as well”  she tensed , her movements through my hair ceasing .

Oh? 

This is … unexpected 

I’ll be in attendance ? I’ll be leaving the garden ?? 

“Persephanie ..”

What will I wear? 

“Persephanie ..”

How do I act around other people? 

“Persephanine “ Mother's irritated loud voice cuts through the air 

“I understand this is a lot to take in but do not ignore me” her voice booms loud enough to shake the glass windows surrounding me

“Sorry mothe-” 

“Now . you will have a strict set of rules to follow for your BRIEF time outside the garden “

I lay awake staring at the stars above recounting today's odd events 

Mother coming to visit … finding out I get to leave the garden tomorrow !!!  I'm so excited. The dress mother left for me to wear is absolutely stunning. 

I never thought I would get to wear something so extravagant ! The thought had me kicking my feet with a squeal of excitement.

Mother instructed Iris and Cora to have me ready by 6 pm sharp, not a moment later !

I’ll see Olympus , meet other gods!! All i have to do is follow 3 rules and i'm golden 

Even if the rules are… stupid. 

Stay by mothers side at all times

Don’t eat any pomegranate offered to me ? 

Stay away from Hades and Aries 

Simple enough ? 1 and 3 seem reasonable , i wouldn't want to accidentally piss off ares or hades anyway . but the second rule is just … odd why pomegranate specifically ? 

I guess we will see what tomorrow brings . the final thought as my eyes drift shut.

Short 1st chapter but dw chapter 2 will be longer! He will be making his first appearance 👀

Yes! It’s only called Disney AU week because it sounds good! If you’ve got ideas from Dreamworks, Pixar, or even Studio Ghibli they are more than welcome to be a part of the event!

I can’t do the entire week but I want to do certain days, is that okay?

Absolutely! Make sure to post it the day of or after, don’t post it before the day arrives!

Can i do just DP or just DC instead of DPxDC?

Who is Astro?

Amazing question! I'll take the time to give you a list of things I usually do. But first I want you to know a few things about me!

My art and content is mostly based on TSAMS as well as FNaF. I'm also in other fandoms like:

1. Design

I want to give a little clarification. When I do a design for any character, like a costume change or creating an OC, I never. I NEVER use other artists' ideas. All my designs come from my mind and if at any time I take someone's idea I will take the time to credit them and if the original artist does not agree I will delete or change my design so as not to have misunderstandings.

4. Do you want to make art for me? Do it!

I have no problem if you make some fanart with my characters, I'm fine with that. In general I like a variety of themes, I don't care if you send my characters romantically with one of your ocs, I even find it cute!

But I don't really like adult content, I'm not an adult and it makes me quite uncomfortable, I prefer not to see anything about that.

5. I do not like fights.

Remember, I am a minor. Don't involve me in a controversy or any fight that is not directly related to me, I like to keep calm and draw. I don't like fighting with people or causing problems.

6. I have limits for friendships.

I have no problems if you want to be my friend, I am always available, but I have certain limits. Don't ask me for personal information about myself if I don't trust you. Don't ask me for my personal social networks either. I don't like showing my body in any way, not even my face. I mention this from personal experience that I have had to live recently. I repeat, I don't like to show my personal life.

7. I like making fanarts.

Generally, that's the majority of my content. I want to mention this because I have experienced some situations and I prefer that they not be repeated. Usually when I start a fanart I don't mention the artist directly (I know, it's wrong and I'll have to change this) Because I don't like to bother people until I finally have the result. Don't worry, I will mention the artist when the work is finished, not in the process. I mention this because there were people who at some point called me a thief, a copycat and many other words that I don't want to mention.

At no time do I seek to take ownership of the characters, I simply like to draw them.

8. Girl? Boy? Astro!

I don't mind pronouns. You can refer to me with any pronoun, I'll take it. My gender is not something I have mentioned many times but I will say it, I am a woman. But I don't care about any pronouns.

9. Treat me like what I am.

Finally, I ask please. Don't talk to me like I'm an adult, because I'm not.

By this I mean one thing. Do not talk about adult topics with me, I am completely unaware of that and it makes me very uncomfortable. Don't talk to me romantically, it's okay to show affection, I like it! But I hate that you use the words “Girlfriend/Boyfriend, I love you, my love (romantically)” with me.

Really, I apologize for making such a long post but I had to clarify some things that have become annoying to me. I don't mind repeating things but I don't like strangers insulting me for the simple fact that they didn't like something about me or it was some misunderstanding.

I really like the TSAMS community but there are times when I feel bad about how they treat me.

I hope I don't do this again.
