There’s a pretty high chance that Bruce secretly, under pain of death, pays for and conceals all of the people and innocent bystanders Clark accidentally injures or kills.

Because those super powers result in injuries and deaths, undoubtedly. Buildings topple and people are caught in blast waves. Clark’s laser eyes aren’t always accurate enough.

But he doesn’t know. Clark doesn’t know that Bruce quietly pays for rehab and funerals and long term care. Clark doesn’t know that the woman he saved last week suffered a fractured vertebrae because of how fast he pulled her out of that burning car. He doesn’t know that Bruce quietly paid for a million-dollar hospital stay because of her subsequent paralysis.

Bruce doesn’t tell Clark about them. He pays off bills and long term trust funds for patient care. He hides what he can from Clark because if Clark knew, he wouldn’t be able to go on being Superman.

And maybe, one day, when Bruce dies, he learns exactly what his best friend was doing, all these years. But at that point, there’s no Superman anyway. Not without Batman.

So was just having a conversation elsewhere and it's outright funny how much people will default to "Grimm Are Mindless Creatures that are an excuse plot for monster battles" and "Also Cinder's Grimm arm is bad/parallel to the Shock Collar (Never mind how things deconstruct if you actually think through the implications of Cinder removing her arm) Best part was going "What about the Glass Grimm Statues"... In the Cinder(elle) Origin Story.

i do get why people take it as a given that grimm arm bad, because: hitherto unexplained growth and torture scene and hound. at this juncture i think “that arm is overtaking her” is probably what the audience is generally supposed to be thinking—esp because it’s presently unclear whether or not cinder actually chose this vs it being something she was forced or coerced into accepting. (<- as always, if she didn’t want it it has to go and i think the solution here is that she has to burn it off, because there is no way anyone else dismembering her again will go well.) but then… yeah like

the thematic narrative wrt cinder and grimm is telling a very different story than the surface appears to be. and there’s that “you turned yourself into a monster [grimm]”/“look who’s talking [murderer]” beat that encapsulates the whole thing in a nutshell and it is so so interesting to me that cinder is on the right side of that exchange. maiden of choice and all

i want so badly to see her try to flip that pain-causing channel around. if only to find out what would happen

The most important thing I've learnt recently is that I'm now pretty sure that Bane canonically thinks pissing Bhaal off is funny, is 100% willing to seduce his own followers (I mean, he does canonically have at least one child with one), as well as use flirting (with a side of threats and bribery) to sway people to convert to his faith.

Which means that I believe he would be willing to seduce (or at least flirt with) the Dark Urge, Kelemvor style, purely because it would piss Bhaal off and also piss Myrkul off because he's the one who has to mediate whenever Bane starts pulling this shit.

I only wonder whether he would do it via dream, manifest an avatar (which considering Bane's favouring of demonic looking avatars when he's not possessing people, kinda counts as monsterfucking?) or if he uses Gortash as an avatar to do it (or possess one of his other Banites as a "fuck you" to Gortash if his Chosen has displeased him recently, maybe? Watch your god make out with your not-partner Enver: that's what you get for developing "feelings". Or maybe he'd be into that idk)

If it works, on any level, then Durge is probably going to be incapacitated by religious guilt for the remainder of forever.

TEN SEASONS. like he's booped sam unconscious before and everything but he never just. hits him. even in the scene where he breaks sam's wall, it's not a violent moment! he touches sam carefully. then when gadreel steals sam's body, cas punches him once. when lucifer uses his body to hurt sam that's the only moment cas can take control back and save him.

it took ten years to find a way to get cas to hurt sam and it only happens bc they're in a completely different timeline. okay!!
