It starts with a phone call from Liam.

“Lou,” it sounds urgent, the way that Liam gets when he’s worried, and Louis sits up straighter, conditioned to that tone even when he had hated it the first few years in the band.

“What’s wrong?” he asks, his brain immediately trying to play catch up, wondering where his keys are and if he can get away with leaving the house without a shower, because it doesn’t matter how long it’s been, it doesn’t matter how much physical distance there is between them, if any of his boys call and need him he’ll be there in a heartbeat. Or as soon as he can, at least.

“Did you mean to post that to your public account?”

Louis tugs the edges of his white bath robe together, concealing the ink across his collarbones. 'Would you be able to help tie up the gown, please?'

'Of course. That's what I'm here for as chief bridesgroom,' he winks, reaching for the trinket that's stashed at the far corner of the dresser. Unfastening the brass clasp, Liam heightens the oak lid. 'Hm.'

'What are you thinking?' Louis pries, examining the way Liam's brows knit together when he's perplexed; the same way his mouth always forms an oval. 'I'm thinking, a little moisturiser. You're already a blushing bride, so rouge isn't necessary.'

Louis smiles at his stomach, thumb caressing the neatly shaped bump; the tie of the robe lightly fastened. 'Peach has been kicking like crazy this morning.' He yawns, 'all through the night actually.'

Liam clicks his fingers, tossing a round, palm sized contained mid air. He catches it with his opposing hand. 'Concealer for sure. Can't have my bride looking like he barely slept the night before his wedding, now, can I?'

Emi would jump up and down excitedly to see Stitch and do the Kaiju Godzilla dance with her. Especially on how many times Stitch would imitate the huge spider ("Earth vs. the Spider" (1958) ) kaiju in the first Lilo & Stitch movie. And the family watching "Them!" (1954)
