A Ride of A Lifetime (Dean x Reader)
Request from @lieutenantchaos: could you write a dean x reader fic where after a hunt you end up at a bar with a mechanical bull and Dean gets jealous and possessive over the reader after they’ve gotten off the bull?
Summary: After a hunt you and Dean decide to head to a dive bar, meaning to blow off some steam
The hunt you and the boys went on was a bitch. It was a nest of vampires that was draining and turning runaway teens, and you got there just in time to only save one kid. The guilt from not being able to save the others, weighed deep on you. So when Dean suggested going to the local dive, you took the chance to drink your sorrows away. The younger Winchester opted to stay at the motel, claiming he wanted to catch up on sleep(after he looked for your next case).
It was a dingy little place, smelling like regret and cigarette smoke with some soft rock playing in the background. You walked away from the bar as Dean found a table. After the bartender slid over two beers and a round of shots, you made your way back to Dean.
A few rounds later, you happened to notice people gathering around this mechanical bull. There was a woman already riding on it, the men hollering out comments about her and making suggestive comments. You looked over at Dean, who was focusing on her and biting his lip. You had this growing crush on him but he seemed more interesting in any other girl. It felt like you just weren’t his type.
Then you got an idea. If he wasn’t going to pay attention to you, the other men were probably going to.
While he wasn’t paying attention; You strolled over to the bull, navigating through the crowd and finding the person working it. After flashing a smile or two he agreed to let you hop on as the woman who was riding it fell off. Walking on to the platform, you hopped right on. Gripping on the reins you got comfortable, the comments about you started; from the men being excited and looking a little predatory, while the women were looking judgmental towards both you and their boyfriends.
The bull started rocking back and forth starting to turn. You gripped on for dear life as it went faster and faster. You were so focused on staying on the bull, you didn’t see Dean looking at you with wide eyes. Then he started to hear the comments about you, how some men wanted you to ride them like the bull. His irritation started growing, as you started rocking your body with the movements of the bull. It wasn’t until you made a passing glance around the bar and saw Dean. If you hadn’t seen Dean’s face, you probably would’ve lasted a few more seconds. The shock of the look on his face and making his way to you, you were tossed off the damn bull.
You were making your way in Dean’s direction when someone grabbed your arm. The guy pulled you close and whispered in your ear making a suggestion that if you went with him to his place you’d leave a happy girl. Deann’s eyes went directly to you and the guy. The laugh you made at his comment, Dean’s vision went red. He quickly got you, and shoved the guy away. Now it was Dean’s grip on your arm dragging you out of the dive.
Once you reached the impala, he turned to you with the most pissed of look on his face, “What the fuck were you thinking?”
“Huh? Riding the bull?”
“No, intentionally trying to get the attention of every guy in there. Even the bartender was staring at you,” He just looked at you and sighed.
“Dean, I don’t know if you know this, but we’re not dating. I can do whatever I please. Plus, not every guy was staring,” You just flashed a teasing smile at him.
He just looked at you and sighed, “Yeah, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have to keep an eye on you and make sure you didn’t do something stupid.”
“I don’t do anything stupid,” You joked.
“(Y/N), you almost went home with that asshole.”
“I wouldn’t have gone with him, I know a bit better than going to a stranger's place,” You sassed getting into the car.
He went to the driver's side, now flashing you a flirtatious smirk, “Who knows, but now you’re going home with me.”
“Yeah, are you going to fuck me?”
Staring at you, Dean just grabbed you by your cheeks and smashed his lips on yours. The kiss deepened until he pulled away smiling.
“Only if you’re serious about that offer,” looking at your lips and flashing back up to your eyes.
“Oh,” you had to process what just happened, “I would like that very much.”
“Good, two conditions though; You ride me like that bull, I’ll even buck my hips for you and you have to stay silent so we don’t wake Sammy up.”
“Or we could get a different room?”
“Ou, I like that idea more, or we could do it right here in the impala.”
That night, you settled on both options. In the morning, things were definitely going to be different.
Author's Note: Hey y'all, it's been awhile since I wrote something. My old shit is SOOO bad. But I'd appreciate any feedback so I can write some better crap for you.

𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐑: 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞
pairing: dave lizewski x reader
warning: not proof-read, or complete (sorry (not really))
“Davie baby” You said happily as you jumped onto the sofa next to him while he was playing a video game with two of his best friends on the TV with his gaming console. Dave’s head turned before his eyes got to you.
“Yes, my love” He answered, his attention on you instead of the game now. You smiled,
“I was thinking we watch a movie tonight, tomorrow’s a holiday and we can have a little movie date night” You smiled at him as you suggested the idea. He smiled at the enthusiasm in your voice and was about to reply but someone had said something in his headset, making him turn to the TV.
He bit his lip softly, and turned back to you with a guilty expression on his face. Your smile faltered slightly and you purse your lips and tilt your head to the side, you knew either Todd or Marty had asked to play a few more rounds.
And Dave was a people pleaser, he gave you a guilty look, and opened his mouth to say something but you beat him to it.
“I’ll heat the popcorn and get the chips ready while you play a few more rounds?” You asked and shrugged. His eyes held the guilt and his lips turned into a sorry smile.
“You are the best” He said simply, pecking your forehead quickly before turning to the TV, you rolled your eyes with a sad smile on your face, got up and walked to the kitchen to get the snacks ready.
You understood why he wanted to play a few more rounds with his friends, he had been busy these past few weeks, his engineering internship and with his college classes, he had been booked, but now with thanksgiving break, he had gotten the chance to take a break.
He had wasted the first Saturday and Sunday finishing up remaining work and packing his bags, then he spent the next five days at his parents house, visiting them for thanksgiving. You would have gone with him to visit your family too, but your boss didn’t let you.
Especially since restaurants were very busy during Thanksgiving time, and he needed you to work double the shifts – he did pay you extra and give you free turkey to take home. He was a nice boss, he even let you take home a small bottle of the finest wine in the restaurant for Thanksgiving day.
You had spent the holiday alone in your apartment, Dave had called you late at night when he was in bed, ready to go to sleep just to catch up with you, but the call only lasted 5 or 10 minutes before he started snoring through the phone. His snores cut you off, and you ended the call, calling it a night yourself.
You had woken up to 5 texts from him apologising for falling asleep and promising to spend all his time with you when he was back. Now that he was back, he wasn’t really doing that. You take the popcorn out of the microwave and pour it into a big bowl for the both of you to share.

there’s a special butterfly in my stomach for particularly devoted, blue-collar men…
the type of man who, despite having just worked twelve-thirteen hours straight, making sure those little nails of yours stay manicured, will still come home and fuck you to sleep.
sure, the plant has his back sore and aching, and sleep rings under his eyes in dark circles, but he could just never resist how sweet you were about it.
greeting him at the front door in your pink, prissy pajamas. the ones he took you to the mall to buy. your nails painted a pretty color and your hair all done up. haven’t worked a day in your life, thanks to him, and you scream it too.
maybe you’d cooked him a meal or maybe he’d brought somethin’ good home, but after eating and showering, he was all soft and complacent in bed. well, more than he already is.
he’s driftin’ off the second he feels your body sink the mattress, pulling you into him like second nature. the only thing that gets him out of his stupor is your soft, almost shy whisper: “baby, i need you.”
no matter how tired or how grueling of a day he’s had, he’ll give you what you ask for. prone-bone, doggy, cuddle-fuck, whatever you prefer. he’ll pull his ragged body up, take care of your’s just right, and then enjoy the sleep-inducing orgasm that follows suit.
it’s always worth it, in his opinion, when he gets to watch your bliss-filled eyes roll back again and again.
sweet, sweet blue collar man ;)

Soft Spot
Summary: Harry Styles is the world’s most effortlessly cocky bastard in public. But behind closed doors? He’s soft for one person, her. Their love is private, sacred, the only thing that’s ever truly been his. But the internet is relentless, the rumors won’t stop, and she starts to wonder if she’ll ever fit into his world. Just when she’s about to pull away, Harry makes sure she never doubts it again. AKA: Soft (but also possessive) boyfriend Harry? Check. Jealous, protective, doesn’t-take-shit Harry? Also check. A public declaration, viral paparazzi moments, and one very necessary smut scene? You already know.
A/N: This fic is based on two requests (this one and this one from @dipmeinhoneyh) that fit so perfectly together I had no choice but to make it a full story. I hope you love it, I hope it makes you feral, and I hope you leave this feeling at least 10% more in love with Harry Styles than you already were. Also, if you ever see a man carrying all your bags through an airport while wearing your shirt?? Marry him immediately.
Word Count: 6k
Warnings:
Smut (obviously)—possessive, praise-heavy, SOFT but also FILTHY
Harry being the most protective, doting, airport-sherpa boyfriend alive
Jealousy and minor confrontation (because someone was dumb enough to question her worth)
Public scrutiny and social media toxicity (but don’t worry, he shuts that shit down)
Excessive amounts of boyfriend fluff (back rubs, forehead kisses, and “mine” moments galore)
Did I mention the smut? Because THE SMUT.
☆ ★ ✮ ★ ☆
Harry Styles was a menace.
Everyone knew it—especially the media. He wasn’t just the biggest name in music, he was also a nightmare to interview. He had little patience for industry bullshit, answered questions with nothing but a smirk or a sip of his drink, and rarely—if ever—gave the press what they wanted.
At this point, journalists had learned to come prepared when sitting across from him. They needed strategy, a solid game plan, and maybe even a shot of whiskey beforehand. Because Harry? Harry made it difficult.
And God, did he enjoy it.
The first clip that went viral was from a BBC interview.
The journalist was older, seasoned. She’d been in the game for decades and knew how to handle difficult personalities. Or at least, she thought she did.
The interview had been going fine—as fine as an interview with Harry Styles could be. He’d leaned back in his chair, one arm draped over the backrest, looking like he owned the place. Dressed in a half-unbuttoned silk shirt and tailored trousers, he was a picture of effortless arrogance.
Then she asked, “Do you think you’re difficult?”
Harry blinked. Didn’t move for a second. Then—slowly, deliberately—he picked up his drink, took a long sip, and held eye contact the entire time.
The silence stretched.
And stretched.
The journalist swallowed.
Finally, Harry licked his lips, tilted his head, and asked, “D’you think I care?”
The second clip was worse.
A different interview, a different day, same energy.
Harry was sitting in front of a panel of radio hosts, arms crossed, tattoos peeking out from under the loose sleeves of his sweater. The conversation had been moving along at a leisurely pace, touching on his tour, his latest album, the usual surface-level stuff.
Then one of the hosts leaned forward, smug, thinking he had the upper hand.
“So, tell us, Harry. What’s the song ‘Soft Spot’ about?”
Harry, who had been absentmindedly fiddling with one of his rings, paused. He exhaled through his nose, the barest hint of amusement curling at the corners of his mouth.
Then—without hesitation—he shrugged. “Dunno. Just a song.”
The hosts groaned in frustration.
The internet? Ate it up.
Edits of him smirking, of him dodging questions with effortless ease, flooded Twitter and TikTok. People captioned them with things like “This man is impossible” and “Certified menace behavior”.
The general consensus?
Harry Styles didn’t answer questions unless he wanted to.
Until someone asked about her.
It happened during a late-night talk show appearance.
The studio was dimly lit, the crowd buzzing with anticipation. Harry was perched on the couch, one leg crossed over the other, fingers playing absentmindedly with the chain around his neck. He was half-paying attention, answering questions with his usual brand of casual indifference.
Then the host, a sharp-eyed comedian known for catching celebrities off guard, grinned. “Alright, Harry. I have a question I think the people really want to know.”
Harry didn’t react much. Just arched a slow, lazy brow. “Yeah?”
“You’ve been seen with the same girl a lot lately…”
For the first time all night, something shifted.
Subtly. Almost imperceptibly.
But it was there, the way his fingers paused against the metal of his chain, the way his shoulders tensed, just slightly, the way his mouth twitched, like he was already biting back a smirk.
The audience leaned forward.
The internet, watching from their screens, held their breath.
Harry tilted his head, slowly. His lips parted, there it was. That signature smirk, the one that sent fans into a frenzy.
“Yeah?”
The host grinned, seeing the shift. “Care to comment?”
There was a beat of silence.
Then—Harry grinned. Not his usual mocking, I’m-so-over-this smirk. A real grin. The kind that made his dimples crease, the kind that softened his otherwise sharp edges.
His fingers tapped once, twice against his thigh.
Then, he looked directly into the camera, his voice dropping just a fraction.
“She’s great.”
The studio lost it.
The audience roared—cheers, gasps, the works. Twitter exploded before the show even finished airing. Within minutes, #ShesGreat was trending worldwide.
Fans analyzed the clip from every angle:
The way his face softened.
The way his body language changed.
The fact that he—HARRY STYLES, NOTORIOUS MENACE—HAD ACTUALLY ANSWERED.
He didn’t say her name. Didn’t confirm anything outright. But the shift in him? The softness in his voice?
That was all people needed.
It was real.
And the world wasn’t ready.
Y/N wasn’t famous.
She wasn’t an actress, a model, a singer, or an influencer. There was no glamorous past, no viral moment that put her on the map. No high-profile connections, no childhood dream of Hollywood stardom.
She was just a girl with a normal life—one that, up until a year ago, had been blissfully simple.
Her days had always followed a rhythm.
Morning coffee at her favorite little café, tucked into a corner booth with a book. Work, which she genuinely enjoyed—something steady, something real, something that felt like hers. Drinks with friends on Fridays, lazy Sundays spent in oversized sweaters, grocery shopping in peace without having to worry about cameras or strangers whispering her name.
She had a routine. A quiet, predictable world.
Then Harry Styles had walked into it.
And ruined everything.
She still didn’t know how it had happened.
It was easy to pinpoint the beginning—the first time their paths had crossed, the first time she’d realized that Harry fucking Styles wasn’t just a name on a magazine cover, but a person with thoughts and moods and an irritatingly sharp wit.
But she never expected it to go anywhere.
At first, he was just a guy who flirted too much.
Then he was a guy who made her laugh.
Then he was the guy she couldn’t stop thinking about.
And somehow—without her even noticing—he became hers.
It had been over a year now. Twelve whole months of him.
Twelve months of stolen moments, whispered conversations in the dark, secret rendezvous that always ended with his lips on her skin and his voice murmuring, “Just us, love. That’s all that matters.”
Twelve months of hiding.
Because Harry? Harry was obsessed with keeping her safe.
"It’s our life, not theirs," he told her once. "You don’t owe them shit."
She’d been curled up in his lap when he said it, her fingers tracing lazy patterns over the tattoos on his arm.
She had been scared that night—really, truly scared.
Her phone had blown up with messages from friends, all linking her to articles and Twitter threads dissecting her existence. Speculation had spread like wildfire after one blurry photo of them together made it online. Nothing too obvious—just a candid shot of her walking ahead of him, their fingers barely brushing.
But it was enough.
Enough for people to start digging.
Within hours, her social media had been flooded. Comments, theories, strangers demanding to know who the hell she was and why she thought she deserved him.
She had wanted to throw her phone into the ocean.
Instead, she had buried her face into the curve of Harry’s neck, inhaling the scent of him—warm skin and expensive cologne and something inherently his. Something safe.
“I don’t think I can do this,” she had admitted, voice barely above a whisper.
Harry’s grip on her had tightened immediately. Protective. Possessive.
“You don’t have to,” he’d murmured. “Not like that. Not the way they want.”
And that was how they lived. No red carpets. No public declarations. No letting the world in. Just them, in their little bubble—hidden away in hotel rooms and dimly lit apartments, in long drives with the windows down, in whispered confessions at three in the morning.
It was beautiful. It was safe.
But Y/N knew—deep down, in the quiet moments when she was alone with her thoughts—that the world wouldn’t stop trying to tear it apart.
Because it wasn’t just them anymore. It hadn’t been for a while.
And no matter how fiercely Harry tried to protect her from it, the outside world was still watching.
Still waiting.
Still hungry for cracks in the foundation.
They didn’t understand him.
The world saw one version of Harry Styles.
The public version. The one who didn’t give a single shit what anyone thought of him. The one who strolled into interviews with that lazy, half-lidded smirk, sprawled out in his chair like he had all the time in the world, deliberately giving them nothing just to piss them off.
“Harry, is it true you walked out of your last meeting with the label?”
He barely blinked. “Wouldn’t you?”
“Is it also true that you—”
A slow sip of his drink. A deliberate pause.
Then, just for fun, a cocked eyebrow. “Dunno. You tell me.”
Click. Click. Click. Cameras flashing. Headlines already writing themselves.
Harry Styles: Rock’s Most Arrogant Asshole.
Harry Styles—Too Famous To Care?
Harry Styles Gives Zero Fucks About Literally Everything.
It was a game. One he didn’t mind playing.
Because the more they focused on the persona, the less they looked too closely at what really mattered.
The less they dug into his real life.
The less they found her.
Because private Harry?
A completely different person.
Private Harry sent texts like, “be home in 5”, because he knew she worried. Because he knew she’d never say it out loud, but if he was running late, she’d start pacing the kitchen, chewing at her bottom lip, imagining the worst.
Private Harry stole her hand cream and chapstick just to smell like her when she wasn’t around.
Private Harry carried her bags through airports like they weighed nothing, insisting every time, “Not letting you lift a damn thing, love.”
Private Harry curled around her in his sleep, face buried against the curve of her neck, his fingers tracing absentminded patterns along her spine until he drifted off—breathing easier when she was there.
No one saw that Harry.
And he preferred it that way.
But every once in a while, the world got a glimpse.
And when they did, it fucking broke the internet.
One moment in particular had gone insanely viral.
It had been a bad day—one of those relentless, aggressive paparazzi swarms outside a studio in L.A.
Harry had already been in a foul mood—late for a meeting, running on three hours of sleep, coming off a night of back-to-back phone calls that had left him rubbing his temples in frustration.
The cameras had been waiting for him the second he stepped out the door.
“Harry! Over here!”
“Harry, how’s the new album?”
“Harry, what’s the deal with the tour delay?”
He ignored them. Didn’t even look up.
Then someone got too close—flashed a camera right in his face, nearly knocking into him.
And that was it.
He snapped.
“Fuck off, yeah?” Sharp, cutting, the words slicing through the air like a whip. His jaw locked, his body tense.
Paparazzi shuffled back, startled.
They knew his reputation.
They’d seen him do this before.
They thought that was the whole show.
Until Y/N appeared.
She had been standing a few feet behind him, waiting.
The second he turned and saw her, everything about him changed.
His scowl softened. His hands, which had been clenched into fists? Relaxed.
And in front of dozens of cameras, in front of the very people he’d just been spitting fire at, Harry immediately reached for her—a steadying touch to her back, a soft tilt of his head. “Y’alright, love?”
Quiet. Gentle. Intimate.
As if nothing else existed in that moment but her.
The paparazzi?
Fucking shook.
The clip blew up online within hours.
Side-by-side comparisons flooded Twitter:
🚨 Harry Styles telling the press to fuck off vs. Harry Styles turning into the softest human alive the second his girlfriend walks into frame. 🚨
Memes. Reactions. Fans dissecting the exact millisecond his demeanor changed.
WHO IS SHE?!
HOW DOES SHE HAVE HIM WRAPPED AROUND HER FINGER LIKE THAT?!
The discourse was endless.
And Harry?
Didn’t say a damn word about it.
Because as long as they were talking about that, they weren’t looking for more.
They weren’t digging deeper.
And that meant she was still safe.
For now.
But the internet was relentless.
Because the thing about secrets—especially ones that belong to someone as famous as Harry Styles—is that they don’t stay secrets for long.
And when people suspect even the smallest sliver of something?
They become obsessed.
It started with something small.
Something that, to anyone else, would have seemed like nothing at all.
Harry had been spotted leaving a café in London, his sleeves rolled up, sunglasses perched lazily on his nose, a coffee cup in one hand.
But that wasn’t what fans noticed.
No.
What they noticed was the bracelet on his wrist.
A thin, woven band. Nothing fancy, nothing designer.
And—most importantly—not his.
The theories exploded.
GUYS. HARRY’S WEARING A FRIENDSHIP BRACELET. HAS HE EVER WORN ONE BEFORE? NO. WHO MADE IT?!
Look at the colors. Do we think there’s a meaning?
I AM SO SERIOUS THIS IS A HANDMADE BRACELET SOMEONE IS IN LOVE WITH HIM AND IT IS NOT ME
WHO THE FUCK IS SHEEEE?
There was no confirmation.
No proof.
But that didn’t stop people from digging.
Because once the internet smelled a mystery, they wouldn’t let it go.
Then came the coffee shop photo.
Blurry. Grainy. Taken at just the right angle to be nearly useless—but not quite.
Because despite the bad quality, despite the distance, despite everything, one thing was clear.
He wasn’t alone.
There was a girl across from him.
A girl who wasn’t famous.
A girl who was sitting comfortably in his presence, laughing at something he said, one hand wrapped around her mug, the other resting—casually, easily—on the table between them.
Too close.
Too familiar.
Too real.
The internet lost its collective mind.
HARRY STYLES SPOTTED WITH THE MYSTERY GIRL IN LONDON—NEW GIRLFRIEND?!
HARRY DATING SOMEONE? WHO IS SHE?!
WHO IS SHE. WHO IS SHE. WHO IS SHE. WHO IS SHE. WHO IS SHE.
I KNOW WHO SHE IS @yourusername!!
The photo was picked apart frame by frame.
Theories flooded TikTok and Twitter.
Some people were excited—because Harry in love?! Soft domestic boyfriend Harry?! They’d been dreaming of this for years.
But not everyone was happy.
Because some people… some people wanted access.
Some people wanted control.
Some people wanted to destroy anything that felt too real.
It started small.
A few comments.
A few tweets.
A few people saying she wasn’t good enough.
That she was using him.
That she was just another clout chaser who would milk this for all it was worth.
Then the DMs started.
Vicious. Personal. Cruel.
You’ll never be good enough for him.
You’re ruining his career.
No one wants you here.
He’ll leave you just like he’s left all the others.
And she told herself that she wouldn’t let it get to her.
That it didn’t matter.
That these people didn’t know her.
That as long as Harry was with her—really with her—nothing else mattered.
But it wasn’t just online anymore.
Because now, when she stepped outside, she swore she could feel the eyes on her.
Now, when she walked into her favorite coffee shop, she hesitated—half-expecting someone to recognize her.
Now, when she reached for her phone, her hands shook.
She started pulling away. Just a little.
Stopped texting first.
Stopped answering right away.
Stopped leaning into his touch as freely as she had before.
And Harry—because of course Harry noticed—tilted his head at her one night when she turned away from his kiss, his brow furrowing, his thumb tracing soft circles against her wrist.
“Alright, love?”
Her chest ached.
Because he was looking at her like that.
Like he knew.
Like he could see right through her.
Like he was already worried.
She forced a smile. Pressed a quick, barely-there kiss to the corner of his mouth.
“Yeah,” she whispered.
And lied.
The industry party was a mistake.
Y/N had known it the second they walked in.
The air inside the private venue was thick with expensive perfume, whiskey, and the kind of arrogance that could only come from people who knew they were untouchable.
The laughter was too loud. The conversations too sharp, dripping with faux warmth and hidden daggers.
She felt out of place immediately.
It wasn’t her world.
It never had been.
And standing next to Harry—Harry, who fit into this world so effortlessly, who could command attention just by existing, who seemed to belong in a way she never could—only made it worse.
He hadn’t let go of her hand since they arrived.
Had kept her close, thumb brushing over the back of her knuckles, squeezing her fingers in silent reassurance every few minutes, as if he could feel the tension in her shoulders, sense the way she was holding her breath.
But no amount of grounding touches could change the fact that she didn’t belong here.
That much became even more obvious when the wrong person decided to open their mouth.
He was a producer.
Smarmy. Arrogant. The kind of man who loved the sound of his own voice and had been in the industry long enough to think he could get away with saying anything.
And for some reason—maybe it was the champagne, maybe it was just sheer audacity—he chose her as his next target.
“Didn’t think this was your type, Harry.”
Y/N froze.
Harry stiffened next to her.
The producer took a slow sip of his drink, eyes flickering over her like she was something to be inspected.
“Quiet little thing, huh? Thought rockstars liked more excitement.”
Her stomach dropped.
It wasn’t just the words.
It was the way he said them.
The smirk. The condescension. The absolute certainty that he was untouchable, that he could say whatever the fuck he wanted without consequence.
Y/N shrank back before she could stop herself.
And that was when Harry snapped.
He didn’t move right away.
Didn’t react instantly.
Just went completely, unnervingly still.
A muscle jumped in his jaw.
His fingers—still tangled with hers—tightened.
And then—slowly, deliberately—he turned.
And stepped right into the guy’s space.
Harry Styles didn’t have to raise his voice to be intimidating.
Didn’t have to yell, didn’t have to make a scene.
All he had to do was look at someone the right way.
And the producer? He knew.
He fucking knew.
Because suddenly, the confidence wavered.
The smirk faded.
The hand holding his drink trembled just slightly.
“She’s worth more than you ever will be,” Harry said, voice low, icy, laced with so much venom that Y/N shivered.
And then—as if to drive the point home—his hand found her waist, pulled her against him, shielded her from the world with nothing but the sheer force of his presence.
It was a warning.
A claim.
And everyone in the room fucking knew it.
He didn’t let go of her for the rest of the night.
Didn’t stop touching her.
Didn’t stop checking on her.
And when they finally left—when they were finally alone—he held her even closer.
She should have felt safe.
Should have felt protected.
But instead, something heavy settled in her chest.
Because the truth was, this wasn’t just about one asshole at a party.
It was about all of it.
The industry. The fans. The internet. The constant feeling of not being enough.
And maybe… maybe they were right.
Maybe she really wasn’t enough for him.
She wasn’t going to say it.
She wasn’t.
But then Harry—still holding her, still watching her like she was the only thing in the world that mattered—brushed his lips against her forehead, whispered, “You alright, love?”
And it just—it broke her.
Her breath hitched.
And suddenly, she was blurting it out before she could stop herself.
“Maybe they’re right,” she whispered, voice barely above a breath.
Harry froze.
“Maybe I’m not enough for you.”
His entire body tensed.
Like she had just physically hit him.
Like the words had physically hurt him.
“Don’t you ever say that again.”
It wasn’t a plea.
It wasn’t a request.
It was a command.
His hands framed her face, tilting her chin up, forcing her to meet his gaze.
And when she did—when she really looked at him—she almost couldn’t handle what she saw.
Because he was devastated.
Shattered.
“Don’t you ever—” His breath shuddered, his forehead pressing against hers. “—say that again.”
She swallowed. “Harry—”
“No.” His grip tightened, like he was afraid she’d slip away if he let go. “You belong with me. Here. Always.” His lips brushed hers, desperate, aching. “And I don’t care what anyone else says.”
She closed her eyes.
Breathed him in.
Let him hold her together, piece by piece.
Because if Harry Styles believed she belonged—
Maybe—just maybe—she could believe it, too.
The storm hadn’t passed.
Not really.
The world still had its claws in them, still watched their every move, still dissected every glance, every touch, every fleeting moment caught on camera.
But Harry… Harry never wavered.
Not once.
Not even when the headlines got uglier.
Not even when the whispers turned into full-blown speculation.
Not even when she started pulling back again, flinching at every flash of a camera, hesitating before reaching for his hand in public, terrified of giving them more fuel.
He noticed.
Of course he noticed.
But he didn’t push.
Didn’t force her to talk about it.
Didn’t tell her that she was still enough, still his, still the only thing in his life that mattered more than anything.
No.
Harry Styles didn’t waste his breath on words.
He showed her.
And the whole damn world saw it.
Madison Square Garden.
A sold-out crowd.
Phones up. Lights blinding.
It was a big night—bigger than most.
The kind of night that would be talked about for years, the kind of performance that would live forever in grainy fan videos, breathless social media posts, and blurry concert footage.
And she wasn’t supposed to be there.
Hadn’t planned on coming.
Had told Harry she’d stay home—avoid the cameras, avoid the crowd, avoid the possibility of being dragged into something she never wanted to be a part of.
But somehow—somehow—she found herself standing in the wings, heart in her throat, hands curled into fists at her sides as she watched him command the stage.
It was impossible not to be captivated.
Impossible not to watch the way he moved, the way he laughed into the mic between songs, the way he glowed under the stage lights.
He was in his element.
He belonged here.
And she—
Well.
She was just trying to stay invisible.
But then—
He turned.
Looked right at her.
And everything stopped.
Because suddenly—mid-show, mid-crowd, mid-fucking-Madison-Square-Garden—Harry Styles did something he never did.
He talked about her.
On stage.
For the world to hear.
“This one’s for someone who thinks she doesn’t belong in my world,” he said, voice steady, eyes never leaving hers.
The crowd screamed.
A roar—loud and deafening and completely unaware of what was actually happening.
“But she is my world.”
Her breath caught.
And then—before she could process what was happening—
He started playing.
A new song.
Unreleased.
Just for her.
And the lyrics—oh, the fucking lyrics.
They were filled with pieces of them.
Little inside jokes woven into verses, fragments of whispered late-night confessions hidden in melodies, the kind of details that only she would understand.
A love letter.
A declaration.
A warning to the world that she was his and he was hers, and that nothing—not the industry, not the headlines, not the relentless scrutiny of millions—could change that.
The internet lost its mind.
Clips went viral within minutes.
Fan theories exploded.
But none of it mattered.
Not really.
Because in that moment—in the middle of everything, in front of everyone, under the brightest damn spotlight possible—
It was just them.
And she belonged.
She didn’t hear the rest of the set.
Not really.
Not past the pounding of her heart, not past the static in her brain, not past the overwhelming realization that he had just done that.
For her.
For everyone to hear.
The screaming of the crowd blurred into white noise. The energy in the arena buzzed around her, the walls seeming to pulse with the sound of thousands of people still losing their minds.
But she couldn’t move.
Couldn’t think.
Couldn’t do anything except stare at the stage where he still stood, grinning like he hadn’t just shattered her entire world in the best possible way.
Because Harry Styles didn’t do things like this.
He dodged questions in interviews.
Shrugged off rumors.
Gave the media nothing to work with.
And yet, tonight—tonight, he had given them everything.
And she had no idea how to breathe through it.
Somewhere along the way, her fingers had curled into the fabric of her sweater, clutching at herself like it might help her stay grounded. Like she wasn’t seconds away from dissolving into nothing but feelings.
Because she knew what this meant.
Knew what it would cause.
Knew that by morning, headlines would be flooded with theories, and her name—or at least her existence—would be dragged into the light again.
But she couldn’t bring herself to care.
Because he’d said she was his world.
He’d said she belonged.
And maybe—just maybe—she believed him.
She was still in a daze when the show ended.
Still stuck in her own head when the lights in the arena dimmed, when the roaring of the crowd turned to scattered cheers and fading echoes of his name.
She barely noticed the way people moved around her.
Security, crew members, the distant hum of conversation—it all faded into the background.
Until—
“There you are.”
Her breath caught.
And then he was there.
Harry.
Still sweaty, still breathless from the high of performing, still looking at her like she was the only thing in the entire fucking world.
He didn’t say anything at first.
Didn’t ask if she’d liked the song.
Didn’t joke about how she’d better have been paying attention.
Didn’t do anything except close the space between them, hands gripping her face, lips pressing against her forehead, breath warm and shaky against her skin.
And she—
God.
She melted.
Because she could feel it—everything he wasn’t saying, everything he had already said on that stage.
The weight of it settled in her chest, so thick she thought she might break apart.
And then—so quietly she almost missed it—
“Tell me you’re staying.”
Her heart slammed against her ribs.
Because he knew.
Of course he fucking knew.
Knew how much she had struggled with this.
Knew how many times she had almost walked away.
Knew how much she loved him, but how terrified she was of all of this.
And yet—
His voice was steady.
Not desperate.
Not pleading.
Just… certain.
Like he already knew the answer.
Like he already knew her.
And maybe he did.
Because before she could second-guess herself—before she could let doubt creep in, before she could convince herself she wasn’t strong enough for this—
She nodded.
Just once.
And Harry fucking collapsed against her.
Exhaling like he’d been holding his breath for months.
Arms wrapping around her like he was afraid she might disappear.
Lips crashing against hers in a kiss that was anything but careful.
Because it wasn’t a question anymore.
Wasn’t a hesitation or a what if or an I don’t know.
It was real.
It was them.
And she was staying.
His hotel room was dark, save for the soft glow from the city outside.
But she barely noticed.
Because the only thing that mattered—the only thing that existed in this moment—was him.
Harry.
Pressed against her, warm and solid, breath still uneven from everything that had led to this.
His hands were everywhere.
Not rushed. Not desperate. Just certain.
Slow, teasing touches down her spine.
Fingertips tracing the dip of her waist.
Lips skimming along her throat, up to the shell of her ear, where his voice was low, husky, full of intent.
"Gonna remind you who you belong to, yeah?"
Her breath hitched.
Because fuck.
She’d heard that voice before—cocky, teasing, full of mischief when he was playing up his charm.
But this?
This was different.
This was a promise.
Her fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt, gripping, needing—but he wasn’t in any rush.
Because Harry didn’t just take.
He worshipped.
And she felt it.
In the way his hands moved over her skin—slow, deliberate.
In the way he kissed her—deep, devastating.
Like he had all the time in the world.
Like she was the only thing in it.
His mouth found the curve of her shoulder.
The dip between her ribs.
The inside of her wrist, where her pulse thrummed beneath his lips.
Every inch of her.
And with every kiss, every touch, came a whisper.
"You're everything, love."
"Perfect for me."
"Mine."
Her face burned, but he wouldn’t let her look away.
Wouldn’t let her shrink away from the way he saw her.
Because when she got shy—when she tried to hide—
He caught her chin, thumb tracing her jaw, forcing her to meet his gaze.
And fuck, that look.
Like she was something sacred.
Like she was something he could never get enough of.
"Look at you, taking me so well."
Her breath shuddered out of her.
And God, he knew what he was doing.
The filthy praise, the way he held her like she was precious, the possessiveness in his voice—
It was too much and not enough, all at once.
And he didn’t stop.
Didn’t stop until she was falling apart beneath him, gasping his name, hands tangled in his hair, nails raking down his back.
Didn’t stop until she was completely his.
And then—when the world had settled again, when their breathing was slow and tangled together, when she was half-asleep in his arms
Harry took care of her.
Of course he did.
Because he always did.
Pressed a kiss to her temple.
Murmured soft things against her skin as he cleaned her up, as he wrapped her up in him.
Strong arms pulling her close, keeping her warm, keeping her safe.
Only ever his.
And just before sleep pulled her under—
Just before her body fully relaxed against his—
She heard it.
Soft.
Low.
Meant just for her.
"Love you, you know that?"
And she did.
God, she did.
But what really got her—what really made her heart ache in the best, most devastating way—was that he never said it like he needed her to say it back.
Never said it like he was waiting for some kind of validation.
He said it like a fact.
Like the sun would rise tomorrow.
Like the sky was blue.
Like her being his was something permanent.
And maybe it was.
The airport was a nightmare.
The second they stepped inside, cameras started flashing, voices shouting—Harry! Over here! Is that your girlfriend?! Harry, can you confirm—
He ignored them.
Of course he did.
Didn’t even flinch.
Just kept walking, kept his hand firmly on the small of her back, kept her close.
And he was carrying everything.
Her suitcase.
Her tote bag.
Her carry-on.
Even the stupid travel pillow she’d nearly forgotten in the car.
Meanwhile, she was strolling beside him, completely unbothered, sipping her coffee like she didn’t have a single care in the world.
The contrast? Insane.
And the internet lost its mind.
The tweets came fast.
@stylesupdates: HARRY CARRYING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HER BAGS WHILE SHE JUST DRINKS HER COFFEE??? SIR. YOU ARE WHIPPED.
@hslotlover: HE'S WEARING HER SHIRT (it’s posted on her Instagram @yourusername) AGAIN I CAN’T DO THIS TODAY.
Because, yeah.
He was.
It was an old, slightly oversized tee—hers.
The one she always stole from his drawer. The one she wore to bed whenever he wasn’t around.
And now?
Now he was wearing it in public.
On purpose.
Like some kind of quiet, undeniable statement.
Like a middle finger to the world.
But the real moment—the one that cemented it all—was the photo.
A blurry, candid shot someone snapped from across the terminal.
Harry, walking ahead, death glaring at the paparazzi.
Her, right behind him, looking effortlessly soft, untouchable.
And the caption?
"He’s still an asshole, and she’s still his soft spot."
And fuck.
If that wasn’t the truest thing anyone had ever said.
Because the world still didn’t get it.
But he didn’t care.
Because she was his.
And that was enough.
That had always been enough.

Thinking about how Atsumu is the type of guy to never use your name again once you’re in a relationship.
From the moment you accept his confession, it’s pet names galore ranging from classics like “baby”, “princess” (if he feels spicy (or condescending)), and “love” all the way to absurdities he brings out when he is in a great mood such as “my plump little dumplin’ supreme”, “main squeeze”, “schmoopy” or his personal favorite, born out of a night drinking with his team, “babelicious”. You had him sleep on the couch for the crime of using that last one.
But as soon - and I mean as soon - as he gets a ring on your finger it’s always “my wife”, “me and the wife” and “wifey”.
“What am I doin’ this weekend? Oh, ya know, me and the wife are gonna hit the farmer’s market.”
“Hang out tonight? Can’t, wifey asked me to pick up some groceries for dinner.”
And god help the poor soul whoever asks about how you are doing because Atsumu will pull out a three-page essay, put up a slide projector, and dim the lights to tell that person all about what his wife is up to.
(tbf you’re not much better because you loooove saying “my husband”)

A/N-In my defense, its 2:07 am.
Pairings- Toji x Reader
Summary- How does Toji react to reader pretending to be upset over something he said?
.🎀"Be quiet, would you?" Toji barks from across the room.
You trail off, face falling. "M'sorry," you mutter, face pressed against the pillow. Your singing wasn't that bad, right?
An awkward silence descends in your room, and instantly, Toji regrets telling you to stop.
"You've been singing that one verse on repeat since last week," he attempts to soften his words from before with a lousy explanation. "It gets annoying as fuck after a while."
That does nothing to help the situation, as you just make a noncommittal sound and curl your body around a pillow.
"Doll..." he sighs, before you hear footsteps heading towards you, and the mattress dips down on the other side. Toji snicks an arm around your waist and tries to pull you closer, only for you to scoot further away.
"I didn't mean in like that," he jests. You hum. "Sure you didn't." You're not really bothered by his outbursts anymore; its just his second nature and he means nothing by them.
But just to mess with him, you add a fake sniff. You can hear the sudden urgency in his voice when he speaks again.
"Doll. Turn around?" You swear his voice tremors slightly. Biting back a grin, you press yourself into the bed. "Baby-" he grabs you by the arm, trying to turn you over, to see if you're actually crying or not.
You chuck a pillow at his face and wail, "You don't love me ANYMOREEE! Why? Am I not pretty enough?" You let out the fakest sob known to mankind, but he falls for it, increasingly getting more frustrated as you move away from his reach. "No, fuck- I love you-didn't mean anything by it. Fucking sing my ears off, I'll not say a damn word-"
You can't keep up the façade and burst out laughing. He freezes, staring over at you, at your shaking shoulders and red face, before he rolls over you, forcing you to look into his eyes. When you finally stop laughing, he gives you a soft slap on your bottom, eyes narrowed. "Not funny, doll. Had me scared." He collapses onto you, pressing his face against your neck in annoyance.
"Serves you right for being a meanie," you mutter as you card your fingers through his hair.
You both fall into a peaceful trance, savoring each others scent and warmth when Toji speaks again. "I have a gun in the bedside drawer."
You open your mouth to respond but he cuts you off.
"If I ever say I don't love you, feel free to shoot me with it."
You kiss the top of his head.

WHEN- you store things inside your boobies
...very obviously fem reader lmao, you store things in the middle of your chest...
...lyney...xiao...itto...wanderer...
Lyney
You're showing lyney a card trick that learned.
But no matter how much he tries to figure out where you hid the card he just can't get it.
He never usually does this but he's just too curious!!
So he's been asking- no, begging for you to tell him how you did it and where you hid the card!
After much pleading and you repeating "a magician never reveals her secrets" you finally spill.
You tell him to watch carefully and he nods.
His eyes widen and his mouth drops open as he burns red.
You reach down your shirt and pull out a card from in between your boobes
"I- you uh..ah.." he's stuttering, not sure what would be an appropriate response to this.
You just laugh "see, this is why I said you can't do this trick, your tits are too small darlin"
"h-hey- making you blush is my job! Not the other way around!"
he's used to making snarky remarks or dirty jokes he can't believe he fell for this!
Xiao
Xiao recently gifted you some adeptus beads
They were meant to ward away evil spirits and demons and keep you safe when he's not around
However, he's noticed that he can't seem to find you wearing them around your neck, so he decided to ask you about it
"y/n where are you keeping the beads I gave you? I didn't give them to you just for you to leave them somewhere to collect dust."
He huffed offended you wouldn't keep the charm on you.
You already insisted on not calling his name when in trouble so you should at least keep the beads on you!
You just looked at him amused telling him you had them on you but he insisted you showed them to him, so you did.
Pulling down the neckline of your shirt you reached your hand in to grab said beaded necklace.
His mouth dropped once you showed it to him and his face bloomed "i- y-you..you have no respect for the adepti!" he vanished after yelling that likely to hide his blushing face, and his boner
Itto
Recently you've hid one of ittos little purple bugs right before his little match with some kid
He's frantically searching for said bug, insisting that he has to take that one or he won't win! Not that he will either way
"y/nnnnn! Are you sure you haven't seen my little bugger! I really need it!" he's whining like a little baby!
Feeling bad for him you finally relent telling him you might have an idea of where his beetle could be
"REALLYYYY!!! You're the best babe-" you tell him to watch carefully as you pull your shirt down and from in-between your valleys crawled out the purple beetle you had hidden
His mouth dropped his eyes looked like they would pop out of their sockets (imagine gojo when he looked at megumi)
"not fair y/n! Why does the beetle get to stay there and not me!" he's thinking about it being unfair,
Then the next second he wants to see if the beetle would fit in between his tits,
Of course, they do. I mean have you seen his tits? He's very proud of that fact
Wanderer
Nahida recently sent the both of you on an expedition together
He acts like he's not happy but deep down he's happy to be traveling alone with his beloved
Recently you both stopped at a shop to buy something but he had forgotten his mora back at camp.
He looked towards you waiting for you to pay, he narrowed his eyes suspiciously at you when you looked at him amused and asked "you sure"
"just pay." well, he insisted, so why would you deny?
As soon as you reached down your shirt his mind short-circuited
You pulled out a mora pouch and handed some mora to the shop keeper like it was nothing and then again stuffed the pouch down your tits.
Grabbing the things you started walking away as wanderer stood there just blushing violently
Looking back you yelled "are you coming or not darling?" he snapped out of it following after you
"did you really have to do that in fucking public?" he huffed in embarrassment, walking back home with a boner is annoying

taglist — @vm4879bb-blog @hihowyoudoin00 @fairii-majii @hepdeerness [ lemme know if you wanna be added! ]

“m- invincible,” your little slip up makes him chuckle, “pretty sure no one's gonna hear you on top of the highest rooftop in the city, but okay.” he teases you so he doesn't end up staring at you like you're the only person in the world.
“you can never be too sure,” you huff, playfully shoving him a bit followed by a fond eye roll when he pretends like you've punched his guts out or something, dramatically groaning and all.
“i was just wondering if you wanna come over? i barely have time to spend with you when i’m not being a superhero,” you start, slightly hesitant.
“ooh sleepover?”
“i mean if you want, sure.” you smile, happy to be spending time with him outside of beating people up.
stop smiling at him, please. he's already a lovesick fool, don't do this to him.
“yeah, i’m down!” he says, mentally scolding himself for sounding a little too excited, getting up he stretches a little, “let's go.”
you two fly together to your house, laughing at some stupid thing you saw, a meme or some other ridiculous thing — he wants to record your laugh and play it again and again, although his mind at night does just that so maybe there's no use of it.
he's laughing with you but his heart is beating like a drum, thank god your powers don't include super hearing or he's sure the super loud thump thump of his heart — which belongs to you and only you be concerning,
he catches a whiff of your perfume, the one you always wear — wait your hair smells different, is that a new conditioner? or shampoo? it smells nice, awfully nice. he takes a deep breath. get it together mark.
he has to maintain a little distance before he ends up doing something stupid like burying his face in your hair and kissing your head.
soon enough he finds you two on the balcony of your house, you slide open the window to your room, leaving it open for him to follow you in.
his palms feel sweaty, he's been here countless times. you two have even slept on the same bed twice. yes, you both were like ten but still!
he takes another deep breath, he steps into your room, you're nowhere to be seen. he hesitantly sits on your bed and of course it smells like you. this isn't good, his heart is going to give out.
he's toying around with your little black cat plushie when he hears the bathroom door unlock, eyes darting to your figure coming out, you've changed into your favorite comfortable pajamas.
he's going to die.
the soft material stretches over the curves and dips of your body in a way that has him gripping the plushie a little too hard.
“you're gonna suffocate him,” you joke, your voice snaps him out of it and he relaxes his grip on the soft back plushie.
flopping down onto the bed with a tired groan you prop yourself up on your elbow to face him.
the atmosphere is unusually tense, or well at least to mark. the soft flutter of your eyelashes and the way your shirt sightly rides up, revealing a slither of your soft skin has him acting like a victorian man seeing an ankle for the first time.
“heard you actually got a good grade for once in chemistry.”
he huffs, nodding with a smile, “believe me, i’m just as surprised as you are.”
the tension breaks and you two fall into easy conversation, like always. he can't keep the smile off of his face when you pull out some seance dog issue to read together and it ends up in him explaining some villain’s origin story to you.
“yeah, so honestly it's not his fault-”
“i think his biggest crime is his new outfit” he laughs at your comment.
your body would occasionally brush against his. sometimes your knees bumping or elbow nudging him when you tease him about something, he wishes he could hold you and shower you with all the affection, give you everything he has.
“i’ve been trying to grow out my nails,” you put your palm flat against the sheets, showing him your progress so far, he knows you've been trying to break the habit of picking and biting your nails. he takes your hand in his without thinking, his thumb tracing over your long nails, “looks good,” a proud smile stretching across his lips.
“thanks, I've been meaning to paint them-”
“can i paint them?” mark blurts out, he honestly just wants to hold your hand for as long as you'll let him.
you jokingly make a show of pretending to think before nodding, “sure.”
you get out of bed, opening your closet to take out a small box of all the nail polishes and other supplies you own, he excitedly looks through the box, pulling out a pretty blue shade, giddy at the thought of his suit’s main color matching with your nails.
he helps you settle your hand on a small towel so your bed sheet doesn't get stained, he uncaps the small bottle, getting to work, he'd grumble a little when he messes up, his teeth slightly dig into his bottom lip as he focuses on painting your nails and every time his hand would make contact with yours — even the slightest bit of contact leaves him longing for more.
he listens to you speak about something that happened at school last wednesday, his heart rate would pick up everytime you'd say his name in that pretty voice of yours.
he looks so proud himself when he finishes painting all the nails on your right hand, gently blowing on them so they'd dry faster, you playfully join him, blowing on your now blue nails, your breaths mingle and oh boy he's holding himself back from kissing your knuckles and telling you how beautiful you are.
you examine his painting skills, watching him put nail polish on your left hand’s nails.
he works in comfortable silence, using the crumpled up ball of tissue to wipe off any excess blue liquid that is around your nails.
“you're actually good at this, makes me wonder if you've ever painted someone else's nails before,” you mutter, his eyes dart up to hold your gaze for a moment, he'd hold it for longer but he knows it'll unravel him, it'd just end up with him pouring out his feelings — baring his heart to you.
“nope, it's actually my first time,” he admits, putting the cap back on and once again blowing at your nails, he sneaks in a small brush of his thumb against your knuckles as he helps your hand up — which is just an excuse to touch you, he folds the small towel and puts it back in your small box of nail supplies.
“do you like them?” he asks.
“yeah, looks really pretty. thanks mark,” you flash him a happy smile and he's over the moon.
“yeah, real pretty,” he whispers, except he's not only talking about your nails, he's talking about you — all of you.
the moonlight along with the dim fairy lights of your room make you look like a literal angel, he swears he can see the wings and halo.
“let me return the favor?” you ask, if only you knew he'd give you the world if you let him, he doesn't even have to think before he's nodding, a dumb lovesick smile makes it's way onto his face as he lets you maneuver his hand around and paint his nails a pretty blue — the same shade he picked for your nails.
meaning you two are matching, he finds that adorable. he also finds you adorable and wants to just bite your cheek, just a little nibble. he shakes his head slightly as if he's shaking the thought away which works, not really.
“look we're matching!” you put your hand besides his, your long nails matching his in the same blue shade. “yeah we are,” he softly mutters, wanting to lace your fingers through his but ultimately holds himself back.
he feels sad when you pull your hands away once you're done painting his nails — he would hold your hand for eternity if you let him.
he feels the tension again, his eyes lingering a second too long on your figure as you put the supplies back in your closet, with your back turned to him he can only think about one thing, you — your waist and how he'd love to grab it while he presses needy kisses all over your neck, sucking and biting, leaving marks, he wonders how you'd whisper his name when his touch gets a little rough and demanding, squeezing and groping all he can reach-
woah there, can't afford a boner here mark, calm down.
he wants to kiss every inch of your body and worship you, he wants — no, he needs to.
he shifts a bit under the sheets when a familiar feeling starts to settle in his gut, waiting for you to come back to bed. although he's almost sure it'll only increase the intensity of the heat he's feeling.
you crawl back into bed, shifting around to find a comfortable position. thankfully, your stupid jokes ease his nerves a bit. he finds himself leaning closer to you, drawn to you like a moth to a flame, so here you two are almost pressed against each other, lying side by side as you two watch tiktoks on your phone, wrapped in your balnket.
“why is your whole fyp brainrot?” he'd complain and then end up laughing, although he insisted it wasn't funny.
a few more giggles and shared laughter later, he realizes just how close you two are to each other, he'd barely have to move to kiss those pretty lips of yours, would you taste like that slushie you two shared earlier? he wants to find out, he really wants to.
a small yawn escapes your lips and he swears he falls in love over again.
“tired?” he asks softly, as if speaking a little too loud would ruin the tranquility of it all.
“mhm.”
“i'm not letting you watch tiktoks till 3am, come on, let's get you to sleep hm?”
he takes your phone away, his fingers brushing against yours, the contact making his heart skip a beat.
“i still have to do,” another yawn, “my skincare,” you mutter, desperately trying to keep your eyes open.
he sheepishly offers to do it for you, he quickly gets out of bed the second you tell him what you need and where your skincare products are because if he stays this close to your sleepy form a second longer he'll end up kissing your forehead and saying those eight letters he's been meaning to say for years.
he brushes your hair out of your face, helping you with your skincare. he rubs the sweet smelling moisturizer into your skin gently, first your hands, he smiles when he sees his nails matching yours, he's never going to shut up about this moment.
then he helps you apply it to your face, taking his sweet time savoring the feeling of your skin underneath his fingertips, his rough calloused hands working skillfully.
“mark?”
“hm?”
“thank you, seriously you're the best.”
he's going to scream, he's glad your eyes are closed shut or otherwise he's sure you'd be able to spot the flush that adorns his cheeks.
then comes the serum, and finally the cherry flavored lip balm. you pucker your lips and glide the tube across your lips, coating them in a shiny slightly sticky layer.
great, you just made them more kissable. he's going to crash out.
you innocently offer him some, he can't say no to you, even you should know this by now.
his heart picks up again when you apply your lip balm to his slightly dry lips, going back and forth a couple times for good measure, his lips now shiny.
and then the realization hits him — he just indirectly kissed you. his heart might as well just beat out of his chest with the way it's pounding so hard against his ribs, like a drum.
his self control is hanging on by a thread, you tuck yourself and him in bed, sleepily mumbling, “goodnight mark,” you sound so sweet, his name on your tongue — sweeter than honey, it’s enough to drive him crazy.
and as your eyes close to get some much needed rest, he mumbles back, “goodnight.”
once he's sure you're fully asleep, he adds, “goodnight my angel,” stroking your head gently, reverently.
he presses a small kiss to your forehead, maybe, just maybe one day, he'll tell you how his heart aches for you, how it longs to hold you and be held in your loving arms — his love for you is consuming, his heart overflowing with it, he's sure if you cut open his chest, your name would be seen engraved on his heart and he wouldn't have it any other way, he will always love you.
even if you don't.
but he prays everyday that you do.

bc all i think abt is college!katsuki

Katsuki Bakugou is the epitome of the type of friend where you don’t actually know if you are friends.
It started off slow and gradual; a head nod when you sat next to him in class for the first time. You didn’t think much of it at first—just Bakugou being Bakugou, cold and distant as can be. But then came the day the professor prompted the class to discuss the reading with the person next to you. Oh boy.
Distant caves would be jealous of him as he offered impressive silence. He sat there with his arms crossed, glaring at the textbook like it had personally offended him. You tried your best to speak about the text, feeling the weight of his weightless replies, and occasionally he’d grunt or nod, but the conversation resembled your middle school talent show performance. Awkward, yes, but not surprising for a college class.
Still, you found yourself sitting next to him every couple of days, the unspoken rules of college and assigned seating habits pulling you back into his orbit. You tried to be kind, offering small talk here and there, but Bakugou always brushed you off with a grunt or a glare. He was prickly, always on edge, and you figured that was just how he was.
You were like this too on most days. After having your fair share of college-creep experiences you laid off the whole talking to people bit. But there was this exception you made for Bakugou. Not an exception but a curiosity of some sorts. Hell, you also were never good at math but you were on edge to solve the missing variable that is Katsuki Bakugou. Seriously, what's his deal?
Maybe it was the way he didn’t care of how he seemed, it could be the mystery or maybe it was just the fact he looked like he was carved by Lysippos sitting by you at 9 a.m. lecture. Those thoughts were in the back of your mind… you even wonder if Bakugo is good at math? maybe then he could help.
But then there were these odd moments, moments where his usual gruffness gave way to something else. Like the day you mentioned how thirsty you were, sitting there in that old, sweltering classroom with no air conditioning. Bakugou rolled his eyes, muttered something about “are you always unprepared?” (he lent you a pen once before) but then wordlessly reached into his bag and handed you a water bottle.
“Thanks,” you say, trying to match his nonchalant demeanor. Trying to let it go.
But the gesture stuck with you. He didn’t acknowledge it, didn’t say anything more. He just went back to his notebook like nothing happened. Typical. But you couldn’t shake the feeling of slight butterflies in your stomach, even if you tried to brush them off as nothing.
Things continued in much the same way. Bakugou, still gruff and abrasive, but every now and then, something would slip through the cracks. A quiet moment of consideration, a begrudging act of kindness. He never let you get too close, but there was always that flicker of kindness. Of Bakugou. The real him, you think.
It was a rainy afternoon when you found yourself stranded at a bus stop with him. The two of you had just finished class, and the rain came out of nowhere, pouring down in quick splatters. You both stood under the narrow shelter that barely helped. Bakugou was glaring up like he was challenging the sky to a duel while his hands shoved deep into his pockets.
He didn’t acknowledge you at first. And you didn’t think he would.
“You’re gonna catch a cold standing out here,” he grumbled suddenly, his voice low and annoyed.
Before you could reply, he was already shrugging off his jacket and, without looking at you, shoved it in front of you. He urged you to take it but you blinked in surprise, not knowing how to react.
But then, you felt the weight of the jacket warm and heavy on your skin. The scent of him—something sharp and clean—lingered in the fabric.
“Bakugou, you don’t have to—”
“Shut up. I don’t need your thanks,” he muttered, not meeting your gaze. He chose to stare at the rain instead.
“Thank you.”
He rolled his eyes but from that moment, something shifted. The dynamic between you two wasn’t any less tense, and he still barked at you when you got on his nerves, but the hostility had softened, just a little. There was still sharpness in his words, but now mixed in with these brief, unexpected moments of kindness? (for Bakugou, normal for everyone else)
The day before your big exam, you sat next to him in class, anxiety buzzing in your stomach. “Are you ready for tomorrow?” you asked, peeking over at him.
“Yeah,” he grunted, eyes not leaving his textbook.
You turned back to your seat, mentally patting yourself on the back for initiating (yet another) pointless conversation. But then, after a pause, Bakugou spoke again.
“Wanna review the material after class?”
You blinked, a little caught off guard, but quickly nodded. “Sure.”
And so after class, he led the way to the library, not even waiting for you to catch up. He moved with purpose, his sharp eyes scanning the room for a quiet, secluded spot. When he finally sat down and pulled out his notes, you were surprised to see how meticulously organized everything was—color-coded, labeled, every detail in its place. So he probably is good at math? You were definitely getting somewhere.
He started drilling you with questions, breaking down complicated concepts with a precision you hadn’t expected. His intensity was relentless, but it pushed you to focus, to work harder, and slowly, your understanding of the material started to click into place.
Hours passed in a blur, and the sun began to set outside the windows. The two of you were still going over definitions when Bakugou glanced over at you. “You get it now?”
“Yeah,” you said, a small smile on your lips. “Thanks, Bakugou.”
“Good,” he muttered, turning back to his notes, but something about the way he said it felt less harsh than usual.
But all this time of him testing you made you want to test him. Probably because you suspected how sexy he’d look getting every question right…
You smirked, feeling a little bold. “Aw, not you caring if I understand the material.”
He shot you a glare and his face twitched like he was holding back a grin. “I don’t,” he snapped, though his tone lacked the usual bite.
“You just looked so damn scared earlier, it was pathetic.”
You faked a small gasp at that. He wanted to laugh.
“Aww, are you worried about me being sad?” you teased, leaning in a little closer. “It’s almost like we’re friends or something.”
“Shut up,” he growled, his face turning slightly red.
That’s not a no, you think. You laughed, the sound light in the quiet library, and for the first time, you saw a hint of a smile tug at the corner of his mouth, barely there, but real.
Quaint and underneath all his surroundings lied Bakugou Katsuki. Almost as if he were labeled X in some math problem.
So yeah… he’s cold and mean and gruff, but… you know he has your back with exams… and when you’re cold, and when you say you're thirsty, and when you need something nice to look at. Definitely, Katsuki Bakugou is your friend…
That happens to have a massive crush on you.
(… and unashamedly, so do you.)

shoto todoroki is fucking shameless. and surprisingly clingy.
he’d done a good job becoming a little more social little by little. he’s still a little wonky and awkward during the few times he tries to make conversation, but he tries and that’s the good part. you’re proud of him.
you’ve known shoto since you were kids, his closest friend, you’d seen him through it all and you’re so grateful that he’s found friends he feels comfortable and happy with, though he always reassures you that you’re dearest to him, which always makes you a little too giddy and flustered for somebody who’s supposed to be his closest friend and nothing more.
you’re in the cafeteria chatting with your mutual friends, shoto had told you to go off without him since he needed to go the bathroom and you found yourself sitting next to midoriya when he’d scooched in next to you, happy to see there was still a spot for him at the table. you liked midoriya a lot, he was sweet, cute and most importantly he made shoto come out of his shell in a way that you regrettably never could, plus the way he flails around when he gets embarrassed is pretty funny.
(you did notice ochaco’s face going completely blank for a few seconds, but you didn’t think much about it.)
after a few minutes of giggling and chatting shoto shows up, and something is immediately wrong with the way his natural straight face goes absolutely dead in the span of three seconds. it’s subtle, but you know him and it’s there. there also seems to be a chill in the room now.
he’s at your side of the table in three seconds, but he doesn’t register your smile in greeting as his cold gaze is glued to the green haired boy next to you.
“midoriya,” and his voice even sounds a little deeper, colder as he speaks like he somehow managed to use his right side on his mouth.
“that’s my seat.” he states calmly.
“oh ! my bad, todoroki !” izuku splutters an apology, but shoto’s eyes do not waver, staying fixed on the boy until he grabs his tray and makes a move to stand “i didn’t realize this was your spot, sorry !”
you feel a little bad at how intensely he’s apologizing, but you’re still shell shocked about that look. shoto seems unfazed though, his expression morphs slightly when izuku goes to squeeze in next to iida.
“i always sit next to yn.”
it’s so stupid. really, it is. how fast that makes your heart beat. because shoto does always sit next to you, he always has and he still always does when you come over to his house. but it’s the fact that he didn’t say he always sits here, in his unassigned assigned seat.
he said he always sits next to you. and your mind and heart races.
you don’t get much time to think because immediately he’s next to you, sighing before sitting as close to you as he can. he looks over to you and you look back, still a little startle but his features are soft again when he looks at you. he drops his utensils to thread his fingers with yours under the table.
“ did you wash your hands, mister ?” you tease, but you squeeze his hand when he squeezes yours. he frowns but it’s not the one from before. it almost looks like a pout and you snort.
“yes, i did.” he snips, you giggle and his eyes soften. even as you assure him you were just kidding he doesn’t mind, he couldn’t be mad at you.
you offer him a bite of your lunch as truce and he leans forward and plops a piece in his mouth from your chopsticks, then offers you a bit of his precious soba noodles and even holds a hand below them so they don’t spill because he insists on feeding you himself.
your friends pretend they don’t see the lowkey romantic exchange, but with the way shoto keeps insisting to have you eat his food and the soft barely there smile when you crack a joke that manages to break through his icey demeanor, they can start to figure out why he wanted to sit next to you so bad.

One Headlock, Pretty Please?
(pairing: scoups x f!reader)

SAW THIS PIC AND SUDDENLY I NEED HIM TO FUCK ME FROM BEHIND WHILE HAVING ME IN A HEADLOCK SO…BON APETIT GUYS
Warnings: smut (MDNI), headlock and choking, spanking, pwp, p in v sex
you moan in pleasure, so loudly the echo of it bounces off the walls of your bedroom. to be completely honest, your knees and hands are starting to hurt from seungcheol having you on your fours for an hour now, more or less, but he’s fucking you so good that you forget to complain.
you weren’t sure what has gotten into you, but whatever it is, it’s a bit embarrassing. or it will be, once you reach the big o and all rationality comes back up to your head.
it has all just gotten too much-you finished your period so it has been a few emotional days, and now you are ovulating, cheol has been gone on tour for way too long, the concerts limiting your communication. and on top of that, no orgasm that you have had in the time cheol has been gone could compare to the ones he gives you so you have been cranky to say the least.
the minute your boyfriend walked through your door unannounced, you got up and ran up to him, immediately kissing him breathless.
cheol didn’t think too much of it in the beginning but after a few minutes of you two kissing, your kisses didn’t persist but instead only got harsher, faster and needier.
cheol wasn’t going to complain, but your behaviour was quite unusual. so despite his better judgement, he paused your kiss to hoarsely ask you “what’s gotten into you, baby?”
you whined in response, grabbing onto the back of his hair to pull him back towards you.
“just fuck me already cheol, i’ve missed you so much.”
well, that did it for cheol.
so now, he’s got you on your hands and knees, fucking you harshly from behind. the skin slapping one of the only sounds in your room, along with his groans and dirty words, as well as you moans and whines.
his hands grip your hips and love handles harshly, pulling you into him with every thrust. he grips onto you so hard that tomorrow, when you look in the mirror, you will see the traces of his presence in the form of handprints.
he groans as he feels your pussy squeezing him, your walls pulsing around him, milking him like a maniac.
cheol swears to god that he could cum any second now from how good you feel around him. as it turns out, you weren’t the only one who was missing the other. he can’t even count on his two hands how many times he has spilled hand while on tour, wishing that his fist were your tight little pussy.
as he’s pounding into you, letting a spank or two land onto your ass cheeks, he feels your upper body giving out a bit, your chest almost touching the bedsheets underneath you.
cheol can’t have none of that.
his chest comes in contact with your back, hand reaching over your shoulder so he can grab your neck, squeezing lightly and pulling you back to your full height, the action making you choke up a gasp.
with his lips right against your ear, he whispers “where are you going baby? i thought you needed me to fuck you? where is your insatiable little pussy going?”, finishing with one, two harsh spanks to your right ass cheek.
you scream in pleasure, making a mental note to avoid eyes with your upstairs neighbours next time you see them as you do so. his dick hammering into you, leaking tip repeatedly hitting your sweet spot.
while lost in pleasure, your hand comes to grab his automatically, pulling on it. what you don’t realise is that you pull onto it so hard that he topples over you a bit, his hand slamming onto the bed harshly to stop you two from face planting into the mattress.
a bit startled and annoyed at your impatience, cheol’s arm automatically comes and wrap around your neck, your cheeks getting squeezed by both his biceps and forearm from both sides.
cheol groans in annoyance, tightening his hold onto your neck. “calm the fuck down and let me fuck you like a good girl i know you are.”
the headlock, the deep voice, the attitude, the dominance, the dick massaging your walls.
it all gets too much for you, plus the pleasure that has been going on for over an hour now, it all crashes out in a second, making you gasp repeatedly “im cumming, im cumming”.
cheol feels your tight pussy squeeze so much around his dick, it makes him gasp in shock.
knowing that he has a few more seconds of you orgasming, he gets right to work, fucking you so fast, like never before.
it takes him a minute to feel himself close to cumming, his arm still squeezing your neck tightly. you have been crying from overstimulation for a bit now, making him go that much faster.
one thrust, two, three and he’s spilling inside of you, hips stuttering as he tries to reach the new depth inside you with his dick, his cum creaming inside of you and consequentially spilling from your insides.
just as the last moan escapes him, you feel your arms give out from beneath you, making you two fall together into the soft bed.
heavy breathing fills the room, his dick still pulsing inside of you. almost like he had the same thought, cheol slowly pulls out of you and moves you two so you are laying on your sides, the same arm that was wrapped around your neck just a minute ago now acting as your pillow.
you try to regain both your self awareness and your breath, things in front of you still a bit blurry. in the meantime, cheol kisses the back of your neck and your cheek, sweetly nuzzling his nose against your skin, inhaling the smell that is home-you.
seeing that you are still out of it, he uses two fingers to move your head to the side so he can see you. struggling to focus on him, you hum in question.
you boyfriend just chuckles at your hazy expression, pressing a quick but deep kiss to your lips.
not straying too far away, he mumbles “where’s my girl, hm? things still a bit hazy for you?”.
being so out of it, you can’t even properly respond to him, another hum greeting him as response.
he chuckles some more at your cuteness, pressing another kiss to your lips.
leaning his forehead against your own, his fingers that he used to turn your head rub your cheeks softly. a gentle smile grazes the corner of his lips as he looks at you, admiring you in all your sweaty, confused but blissful, and most importantly, beautiful state.
with so much affection in his voice, he just mumbles “my girl…my sweet girl…i’ve missed you.”
you don’t respond back just yet but he doesn’t need your words to know that you’ve missed him just as much.

“Think I have heatstroke.”
You roll your eyes from where you’re sat on the balcony, distracted from the half eaten packet of lays sat in your lap. You shift in your seat to crane your neck around to look at Paige through the glass doors, sun beaming down onto your skin.
“We were outside for like, half an hour.”
The Greek sun was no joke. You'd both decided to treat yourselves to a last minute vacation, frantically booking one of the nicest apartments you could both find a week prior to departure. Seven days on a Greek island was your idea of heaven and Paige had willingly agreed, claiming she needed some sun.
However, what she wasn't prepared for was the sun being the hottest thing she'd ever felt in her 23 years of being alive– her words.
The blonde groans from where she’s splayed out on the bed. The crisp, white sheets are a nice contrast against her newly tanned skin, body wrapped in a white fluffy towel.
You stand up from the chair, grimacing at the sting of your legs unsticking from the plastic. The packet of lays gets abandoned on the small table before you and your toes burn against the hot tile as you hop back into the bedroom, pulling the door shut behind you.
Paige doesn't flinch when she hears you come in, cheek smooshed against the sheets. She hums in the back of her throat when you scratch at her scalp as you pass her, her hair still slightly damp from the shower.
"You gonna make it to dinner, champ?"
A breath of a laugh leaves Paige as she pushes herself up with another groan, towel loosely tucked around her body. You're busy sorting through the selection of dresses you'd packed when you feel her wrap her arms around your waist, chin resting on your shoulder.
Her head juts towards the white dress hanging up in the closet. "Wear that one."
It's a fairly simple dress- plain white with a racer style neckline and ruffled skirt. You take it off the rail and hold it up in front of you, head tilting as you study it. "Really? It's kind of boring."
"Nah," Paige's hands rub up and down your sides, nose nudging against your cheek. "S'my favourite." She punctuates her sentence with a kiss to your jaw. It's seemingly innocent, but you know the girl well enough by now.
You slip out of her grip, dress in hand, before she can try anything, grabbing a pair of white strappy heels as you go.
"I'm gonna get ready in the bathroom," you're heading towards said room before she can stop you. "Reservation is at 8!"
You're sat on the couch, impatiently tapping a heel against the flooring. You tap against your phone screen to check the time for what felt like the hundredth time– you only had five minutes to get to the restaurant. Somehow, Paige always managed to take so long to get ready. You'd tried to get into the bedroom to see what was taking her so long but the door was locked so you were forced to sit and wait for her like her chauffeur.
You're scrolling through TikTok when you hear the lock click on the door. You huff, grabbing your bag from beside you. Standing up, you run a hand down your dress to flatten out any creases and when you look up Paige is stood in the doorway.
She's got her hair slicked back in her classic bun and she's wearing a white shirt with a simple black crop top underneath. The shorts she's wearing are black, too and she's wearing the Nike's you bought for her. She stands in silence, hands tucked into her pockets as she watches you take her all in.
You slink towards her, heels clicking against the tiles. You're aware you're probably staring at her like she's a piece of meat but you can't find it in you to car when she looks this good, plus it's not like she would complain.
"You're late," you hum, pulling her in by the belt loops. "What took you so long?"
She shrugs, opting to not respond. Instead, her hands reach out to rub down your back. "You look..." She pauses, leaning back. Her eyes start from your heels, trailing up your legs. Her gaze pauses on your chest for a second before meeting your eyes. "Really fucking good."
The pink of her tongue darts out to wet her lips as she takes your hand and holds it above your head. "Twirl for me."
You do as she says, giddily spinning in a circle for her. Her teeth pull at her bottom lip as she watches you, the vanilla from your perfume hitting her like some sort of pheromone. You drive her insane.
"You like?"
"You know I like. We're matching."
Before you can respond, the sudden dread of missing your reservation hits you and you're kicked into gear, eyes widening as you cast a glance at your phone in your hand.
"Fuck, we're late!"
You pull Paige by the wrist as you frantically leave the apartment, locking the door behind you and walking as fast as you could in your heels to the restaurant.
Alcohol in Europe is different to the alcohol in America– it's somehow much, much stronger.
You'd had an amazing dinner, followed by some amazing cocktails. What was supposed to only be one or two turned into arguably too many and before you knew it you were both stumbling back to the apartment.
The front door is opened and shut again faster than you can blink and you're pressed against it before your brain can catch up with you. Your head spins a little when you tilt it up to give Paige access to your neck, dazed smile spreading across your lips.
"Mmmm," Paige all but moans against your skin, licking a stripe up your neck. "Tastes good."
"Might be the alcohol." the words leave you lazily, slurred. Paige pulls back to look at you, eyes glazed over.
"Nah, s'all you."
You pull her in with a hand gripping the back of her neck, lips slotting against hers. It's hot, messy- her tongue slides against yours and you taste the alcohol on her breath. Ordinarily, you'd make a joke about her needing to brush her teeth but you're fully aware you're just as bad so you remain silent, just kiss her deeper and softly moan into her mouth.
When you part from each other you're both panting, string of spit separating the two of you. You lick your lips and it breaks, clinging to your bottom lip. Paige's thumb reaches up to wipe it away, pad of her thumb pressing against you. She just stares at you as she swipes the digit across slowly, smudging the remainder of your lip liner down your chin.
"So fucking fine," she murmurs, eyes trained on your lips. Your tongue darts out to lick at her thumb, smirk forming when she lets out a shaky breath. "You tryna kill me?"
"Maybe." you smirk at her, pushing at her shoulders until she stumbles back. You glide past her and head to the lounge, the blonde hot on your heels.
She catches you by the couch, arms caging you in from behind. You let her, of course. The cat and mouse game is usually fun but when you're this desperate, there are plenty other things you'd rather be doing.
"So many rooms to choose from," Paige whispers against the shell of your ear, "So many places to fuck you in."
Your knees almost give out and you're sure they would've if it wasn't for Paige holding you up, her chest pressed tight to your back.
"Could fuck you here," a flick of her head gestures to the couch.
Her hands find your chest, squeezing at your tits through the fabric of your dress. "Or on the counter, on the balcony."
You're abnormally quiet, nodding at whatever she says. She snickers, hands trailing down further until they reach the hem of your dress. Paige knows that when you're speechless, she's doing something right.
"You want that?"
"Yes."
"Which?"
"All of them."
She spins you around and you have to grab onto her to steady yourself. Her cheeks are all flushed and she's clearly just as drunk as you.
"Gonna let me?"
You feel like you're going to cry from how badly you want it.
You nod eagerly, gripping the fabric of her shirt. You want to rip it off of her, lick all over her tan lines and have your way with her but you let her have this one; you can tell she's in the mood to take control and you'd never be one to deny her of that.
She wrestles herself from your tight grip and flops down on the couch, legs spread and arms wide across the back cushions. You're still stood in your spot, hands now awkwardly by your sides as you wait for her to tell you what to do.
"Take it off."
You lean down to slip off your heels but she stops you with a cough.
"Keep 'em on, I meant your dress."
"But-"
"Off, c'mon."
You stand up straight again, gripping the hem of your dress and pulling it up and off your body. It's a bit of a struggle and you stumble around slightly but it eventually slides off of your head. It drops beside you and you're left in a simple matching white set.
Despite the alcohol coursing through your body, you still manage to feel shy under Paige's heavy gaze. She's still sat in the same position, eyes raking over your body.
"C'mere."
You toe towards her with careful steps, nothing but the sound of your heels clicking against the tile and both of your heavy breaths echoing throughout the room. You're standing between her legs, much like you were earlier, and she still doesn't move from her spot, fingers gripping at the cushions of the couch.
Paige’s gaze remains locked on yours, her lips curling into a smirk as she leans back further into the couch, making no move to close the distance between you. Her liquid confidence oozes with the weight of her stare and the longer she waits the more your heartbeat thuds in your ears.
“Closer." she murmurs, her voice low.
You inch forward until your shins hit the leather of the couch. You try to stop your hands from shaking, try to act like this is any other time you've been in this situation but there's something about having the entire space to yourself that makes this feel so different, so intense.
"Do you plan to do this all night, or?" your voice comes out quieter than you'd intended.
She lets out a laugh, arms reaching forward to pull you in by your hips. You fall into her lap, bracing yourself against her shoulders to soften the impact.
"I just like lookin' at you," Paige licks her lips, glossy eyes looking up at you. "So sexy, you know that?" Her left hand smooths up your torso, grips at the fat of your chest and squeezes.
You whimper pathetically at the contact, your hands moving from their spot on her shoulders to her hair. You mess with the hair ties and pull the bun free, fingers brushing through the blonde strands. Paige hisses when your nails scratch against her scalp, hips pushing upwards against your own.
Her right hand slides around your back and she pulls you down until your chests are pressed together. You kiss her, open mouthed and messy as your tongue laps at hers, grinding down against her. The rough metal of her zipper presses against you through the thin material of your underwear and you whimper against her mouth, eyebrows drawing together at the feeling.
Paige's left hand finds home on your ass, squeezing and guiding you to rock against her. You whimper into the kiss as she uses her hold on you to grind you down onto her harder, tongue pushing further into your mouth. You can feel the heat radiating off of her, can smell the scent of the shampoo she used in the shower this afternoon and taste the alcohol on her tongue. You're practically drunk on her let alone the alcohol, and she's definitely drunk on you, too.
You're so caught up in the moment you're not prepared for Paige to flip you around. You let out a small ah! as she does so, head spinning from the sudden movement. Your back is now against the cushions, leather sticking to your sweaty skin. The blonde slips down onto the tiles in front of you, now kneeling between your legs.
"Hold 'em." Paige's hands are at the backs of your knees, pushing them up until they're almost at your chest. The heels of your shoes knock together and it's a reminder that you're actually still wearing them. You do as she says, clammy hands gripped tight over hers. You watch with bated breath as she slips her hands from your grip, thumb coming to press against your clit through your panties. It's a soft touch but it's enough to make you gush again; what was once a thick white material now a glossy, sheer mess.
"Fuck," Paige breathes. She moves her thumb in small, gentle circles around the clothed area. Your head falls back against the cushion of the couch, mouth open in a silent moan. "This all for me?"
"Always," you murmur, licking your lips as you move your heavy head, eyes meeting hers. "It's yours."
"Yeah it is," Paige nods, her voice coming out strained. She moves to slide her hands up the backs of your thighs and hooks both thumbs into your panties, pulling them up and off your legs until they're hanging around your ankle, exposing your pussy. "So good." she purrs, leaning forward to press open mouthed kisses against you. You suck in a breath when her tongue laps up your slit, nails digging into the skin of your thighs.
She moves slowly at first, and for a moment you wonder if it's because of her own drunkenness, but the longer she goes on the more you're reminded of just how good she is at this. You feel like you're going to explode at the slightest touch, every stroke of her tongue against your clit sending shocks of pleasure through your entire body.
"Paige," you moan repeatedly, her name coming out like a prayer. She hums against you, hands pressing against the backs of your thighs to keep you spread open for her.
You gasp at the feeling of her warm, wet muscle pushing past your folds to languidly dip against your entrance. "Oh fuck, fuck- babe."
She's sloppy with it, a mixture of your juices and her spit dripping down between your ass and onto the couch. You'll scold her for doing this here tomorrow but right now it's your last concern.
Your toes curl when she shakes her head against you, tongue flicking against your clit. "Gonna make me cum," the words leave you as a sob, mouth hanging open. You feel the wetness between your thighs increase even more when you hear her moan, the vibrations shooting pleasure straight up your spine. "Feels so good."
Paige's fingers dig harder into the skin of your thighs as she continues to lap at you. She pushes her tongue into you again and then moves upwards, pressing sloppy kisses against your swollen clit.
"Yeah, right there, please-" you choke on your own words, the feeling of her nose brushing against your sensitive skin making you jolt. You can't stop the loud cry that leaves you as she sucks your clit back into her mouth, tongue massaging against it.
The room is spinning and your legs start to cramp from how hard your muscles are tensed, nails almost piercing into your skin when the chord in your stomach suddenly snaps. You're practically crying, eyes rolled back in your head when it hits you. Paige helps you ride it out, keeping you pressed to the couch whilst she drinks up your slick. You're trembling, stomach rippling from the intensity.
You expect Paige to pull away, lean up and give you a messy kiss like she normally would but instead she slides two fingers up and down your pussy, gathering your wetness on the tips before she's pushing them into you.
"Wait," you whimper, feet kicking in the air. "Babe, wait, I just- I'm-"
"You're good," she murmurs, lips brushing against the inside of your thigh as her fingers slowly pump in and out of you. "I got you, just relax."
You mewl, letting her have her way with you. She starts off slow, fingers curling up deep. The sound is obscene, with every flick of her fingers the wet sound fills the air but you feel no shame, if anything it just turns you on more.
Paige definitely feels you flood her fingers because she picks up the pace, thrusting her fingers deeper into you, curling them with each stroke. Your entire body is coated in sweat, droplets beading against your skin. Her other hand moves from its place on your thigh to spread you wider, opening you up to her even more.
It's all too much; the heat, the way you're spread open for her, the pressure building deep in your stomach. She adds a third finger and the stretch makes you sob, legs starting to shake in your grip.
"I can't," the words spill from you, incoherently. "Please, please I can't."
"Shhh," Paige coos, leaning down to kiss the back of your thigh. "You can, gonna make you cum again."
She curls her fingers and the tip of her middle finger brushes against that spot, her palm pressing down against your clit. The feeling is so intense and you can't do anything but whine, thighs shaking around her.
"So good to me," Paige breathes out, heart hammering in her chest. She watches the way your pussy clings to her fingers, the digits now glistening as she pulls them out of you before thrusting back in. "She loves me, hm?"
You nod feebly, tears slipping down your cheeks, head lolling against the cushions of the couch.
Paige is relentless, fucking her fingers into you with such force you can feel the pressure in your ass. Your legs are starting to burn and so are your hips and it feels like a balloon is being blown up in your stomach, pressure becoming harder to ignore with every pump of her fingers.
"M'gonna cum, fuck, Paige-"
You cum for the second time with a broken sob and you hear it before you feel it, the distant sound of a splash against the tiles below you followed by Paige's load groan. It hits you hard, legs quivering as you squirt around her fingers, the wetness coating the floor. She slips her fingers out quick enough for another gush to leave you, trickling down your ass and onto the leather.
She moans, watching it play out in front of her. It's the hottest thing she's ever seen, her fingers now rubbing against your clit in quick motions.
"Again, again."
"Fuck, I can't-"
"Again." she demands but the word leaves her like she's begging, voice a pitch higher.
It's embarrassing how fast the heat builds in your stomach again, and before you can stop it you're squirting all over again, pussy clenching against nothing as you cry out.
Paige leans down, tongue slipping between your folds to drink you up. You're sobbing, trying to get away from her but you can barely move.
"You're okay," Paige mumbles, soothing her hand down your quivering leg. "I got you, s'okay."
A moment passes, Paige's head resting against the back of your thigh as she strokes her soaked hand against the other. You drop your legs ungracefully, stretching your limbs and groaning when your hips and knees crack after being bent for so long.
"That sobered me up." you whisper, heavy eyelids threatening to close. "Did they put viagra in your drink?"
Paige stifles a laugh, her own knees cracking when she stands up. She holds out a hand you to help you up and you take it with a shaky one of your own. You grimace at the feeling of the wet leather sticking to your bare skin, standing up.
"You ruined the couch."
"Says the one who squirted like a fucking firehose." Paige's hand comes up to push the hair from her face, a bead of sweat dripping down her temple. "S'not my fault I do that to you."
You groan, pushing at her shoulder. "Shut up."
Paige laughs and drops her hands to your hips, walking you backwards towards the bedroom. You stumble a little, bambi-like legs struggling in your heels.
"Get on the bed."
You're pushed backwards onto the bed, bouncing slightly when you hit the sheets. Your chest is heaving, heart still thumping wildly in your chest. Paige is climbing over you, caging you in with her arms and legs. Her lips ghost the shell of your ear,
"Still gotta fuck you in here."
She ducks down and connects your lips, teeth knocking against yours as she does so. Her hips grind down against yours and your hands snake under the fabric of her shirt, pushing it off her shoulders. Paige pulls back to shrug it off of her and throw it blindly behind her, reaching back to pull her crop top off in one fluid movement. She's braless, tan lines from her bikini top prominent against her now tanned skin. The sight alone makes you moan.
You both shimmy up the bed, lips still connected, and when the back of your head hits the pillow Paige's lips are on your neck. You sigh, hand smoothing down her back. Her skin is damp and so is yours, the smell of sex filling the air.
"Please, babe," you whimper, fingers pulling at the waistband of her shorts. Paige hums, sitting up to push them down her legs and kick them off.
"Hmm," she murmurs, fingers sliding over your cheek, thumb resting against your bottom lip. You part your lips, tongue swiping out to lick the pad of her thumb. "You gonna do something for me?"
"Anything."
Wordlessly, Paige pulls off her boxers with practiced ease and begins crawling over you. Her hand rests against the headboard as she steadies herself, the other reaching down to cup her pussy. You lick your lips, eyes flickering between hers and her cunt.
"Please," the word is soft, leaving you breathlessly. "I wanna taste you, please."
"Yeah?" she tilts her head, the pad of her index finger sliding up and down her slit. You watch her gather her wetness and then bring it up to her clit, circling the bud. "Wanna make me cum?"
"Please, please." you grip at her thighs, nails digging into her skin. Paige moans at the feeling, her own hand now moving faster against herself. "Wanna make you feel good."
Paige's hand leaves her pussy and she hovers above you, holding onto the headboard. You lift your head and stick your tongue out, eager for her to sit on you. You whine when she hovers her pussy just above your mouth, tongue swiping out to lick against her folds.
"Fuck, yeah," Paige moans, head dropping forward. Her left hand grips the headboard whilst her right holds onto her pussy, spreading herself open for you. "Yeah, good girl."
The praise goes straight to your core and you moan, tongue darting out again. She's finally sat on your face and your head falls back against the pillow, licking at her cunt like a woman starved.
She starts grinding against your tongue, the slick sounds filling the air. You're making a mess of yourself, saliva dribbling down your chin as you lap at her, tongue dipping inside her.
"S'good," Paige pants, grip against the headboard tightening. "Yeah, like that-oh fuck."
Your tongue flicks against her clit, your thighs squeezing together as a you feel your pussy gush just from making her feel good. She's so warm and wet and tastes so good and you can't get enough, tongue lapping at her clit in quick, harsh motions.
"Keep- fuck- keep doing that," her head drops forward and her hips cant, her movements becoming sloppy as she chases her high. "Right there, yes-"
Her legs start shaking, the muscles quivering under your touch and her hand reaches down, smoothing against your hair. Her hips move erratically, chasing her orgasm.
"Oh fuck, m'gonna cum." she pants, a bead of sweat rolling down the valley of her breasts. "Keep- yeah, yeah-"
Paige cries out with a broken moan, her orgasm washing over her. She's shaking all over, groaning as you keep lapping at her clit. You drink her up, moaning against her pussy.
"Please," she begs, her voice high pitched. "Fuck, I can't."
She's cut off by her own sob, eyes rolling back in her head. The room is filled with her moans, the sound bouncing off the walls and mixing with the obscene sounds coming from where your mouth is.
Paige is squirming on top of you, the sensation of overstimulation sending waves of pleasure through her body. Two can play at that game, you think.
"So good to me," Paige manages to choke out between moans, teeth gritted. "My fucking girl, s'so good."
You're drunk off of her, her words of encouragement only spurring you on. You roll your tongue against her clit, nails pressing down harder into her skin. Paige fights against your grip, hips lifting up as she pants heavily, forehead pressed against the wall.
She shakily moves her hips backwards and away from your mouth, now sitting across your hips. You're breathing just as heavily, the room spinning around you. Your chest is heaving and your eyes are half lidded as you stare up at her, lips red and puffy.
"You're so hot," you mumble, eyes drifting across her chest. The words leaving you before you can even process them.
Paige snickers, running a hand through her hair. "I know."
"So fucking annoying."
"You love it."
And well, she's not wrong. You reach up, cupping her tits and giving them a firm squeeze. Her hands reach up to cover yours, leaning into your grip.
"You want it?"
It takes a moment for your brain to catch up and figure out what she's referring to but when she gestures down to her crotch with a nod of her head, the cogs turn into place.
Paige spots the excitement in your eyes because she sniggers, tongue kissing her teeth. "'Course you do."
She clambers off of you, slight wobble in her legs as she does so. The moonlight dances through the room and you can see the sweat beading against her back, muscles rippling when she digs through her suitcase.
When she turns back she's got the harness briefs dangling from her fingers, skin coloured dildo fisted in the other hand. She wiggles her eyebrows at you and you roll your eyes back at her, urging her to get on with it.
She stands at the end of the bed, slipping the boxers over her feet and up her legs. She fits the dildo into place, bottom lip pulled between her teeth in concentration when she fumbles slightly.
You watch her with bated breath, squeezing at your covered tits mindlessly.
"Keep that on," Paige mumbles, nodding towards your bra. She crawls onto the bed, stopping at your feet. "Turn over for me."
You flip over with a groan, using what little strength you had left to keep your chest flat to the mattress, ass high in the air. Just how you know she liked it.
She affirms your thoughts with a soft moan at the sight of you, moving further up the bed. You feel the plastic brush up against you and it makes your thighs twitch, ass jutting up higher for her touch.
Her hands smooth against your ass, squeezing at the fat of it when you back up against her again. "Someone's impatient."
"C'mon." you urge, shaking your ass just enough to get her to fold. It works, of course, because she moans again- deeper this time. She grips the base of the dildo and slides it between your folds, blunt head nudging your clit. You're still soaking wet, the plastic glistening before she's even put it in you.
"Damn," the word leaves Paige automatically, pupils blown out as she admires your mess. "Ask me nicely and I'll put it in."
You groan against the sheets, fits gripping the cotton tightly. "Please, Paigey."
The nickname gets you a harsh slap to the ass, the impact stinging your skin. You suck in a breath through your teeth but the smirk grows across your lips despite it all.
"Fuck me Paigey, please."
"Shut the fuck up."
She slides in with one smooth motion, intrusion bringing your brows up to your hairline. It stings slightly but the familiar is welcomed, comforting almost.
"Gonna fuck you now," Paige's hands smooth down your back, coming to rest at the base of your spine. "Gonna make you fucking cry."
You strain your neck against the bed to get a peek at her and you're not sure you've ever seen her this wound up before- her eyes are wide, a red flush travelling across her chest and up to her cheeks. She's fucked.
Her hips draw back and then slam back into you, the sound of skin on skin deafening you. She's unforgiving, nails digging into your skin as she uses your hips as leverage to fuck into you. She's grunting with each thrust, bottom lip trapped between her teeth.
"Yeah, yeah-" you whine, eyes screwed shut as the blonde ruins you. You can just about hear how wet you are over the sound of her skin smacking against yours, the recognisable squelch of your pussy getting louder when she grants you with another slap to the ass. "You fuck me so go-ood."
"Yeah?" Paige breathes out, slapping your ass again. Her hand tingles from the force but she ignores it, slapping your other ass cheek with the same hand. "Whose pussy is this? Hm?"
You can barely respond, body jostling against the sheets.
"Is it mine, baby?"
You nod against the sheets, helpless.
Another slap.
"Tell me."
"It's yours!" you cry out, fingers practically ripping holes into the sheets. "Yoursyoursyours-"
"Fuck yeah it is."
She pistons in and out of you at an ungodly speed and it makes you dizzy- so dizzy you don't even feel your orgasm approaching until you're on the edge, threatening to tip over.
"Cumming!" is all you can let out, the word caught in your chest as your spine curls inwards, heels kicking up against your girlfriend. It hits you like a truck, legs spasming and arms stretching out against the sheets as you cream against Paige. You see spots in your vision, eyes crossing as the pleasure consumes you. You feel everything, and then all of a sudden- nothing.
"You good princess?"
You crack an eye open to see Paige laying beside you, propped up on an elbow. She's gently stroking your cheek with her thumb, hair now pulled up into a messy bun atop of her head.
"Did I die?"
She snickers, leaning across to press a kiss to your forehead. "I killed that pussy, maybe."
You release the sheets that's still gripped in your hand to shove the blonde back but she just sticks her tongue out at you, reaching behind her for a glass of water left on the bedside drawer.
"Drink some, you need it."
She holds it to your mouth and you chug it down, dry throat welcoming the fluid. "I seriously passed out?"
"Eh," Paige shrugs, rubbing down your back. "You were conscious, just about."
"Wow," you roll onto your front, ache between your thighs making itself evident. "You did a number on me."
"Same again tomorrow?"
Your palm smooshes against her face, pushing her away with a laugh.
"Your turn tomorrow, Bueckers."

Damian Wayne has officially lost his mind. (Or—at least, that’s what it feels like, which is almost worse than it being true.)
It doesn’t come on all at once. It’s not loud like breaking a door down a flash of gunfire. no, it creeps in slowly. subtly. It starts with the nausea, the quiet kind, not the kind that doubles you over or makes you rush to the bathroom. not food poisoning. not a training injury. nothing that can be pinned down to anything practical.
It's just this low, burning discomfort that curls in his gut and stretches upward, making a home beneath his ribs, curling around his spine. the kind of unease that originates from something deeper, something more inconvenient. something more emotional.
He can’t stand it.
His palms are sweating, and that alone is enough to make him scowl. his shirt sticks just a little too tightly at the collar, suffocating in a way it never has before. there's a feverish heat crawling up the back of his neck, winding behind his ears, and it makes his skin itch with irritation.
he’s already scanned himself for symptoms. checked his vitals, ran through every checklist and possibility in his head. besides the nausea, he’s not actually sick. his pulse is as steady as it can be. reflexes are sharp. no bruises he’s missed, no toxins in his system. nothing out of the ordinary. on paper, he’s fine. perfectly functional. but something’s still off.
because no matter how hard he tries, he can’t stop thinking about you.
your face has apparently decided to move in and take up residence in his mind. your face has staked a claim on his sanity. It keeps showing up, again, again, and again. relentlessly. a ghost with no regard for personal boundaries.
there you are, when he closes his eyes. when he blinks. when he spaces out for a single second.
the image of you burns at the backs of his eyelids with a persistence that borders on cruel. It’s not just your laugh, though that’s bad enough. It’s the details, the things he shouldn’t have noticed. the things he has no business remembering.
The way you hold a pencil, balanced so precisely between your fingers like it grew out of your hand. the way you bite your bottom lip when you're focused, completely unaware of the way it softens your whole face. the furrow between your brows when you’re reading something the teacher assigned. the exaggerated eye-roll you give him when he’s being, as you so kindly put it, “uptight.”
he hated the word. he still does. but the memory of you saying it loops in his mind anyway. the way your nose scrunches when you laugh. the way you tuck your hair behind your ear. the way you exist, so thoroughly and vividly, in every god forsaken part of his head.
He clenches his fists and holds them there, knuckles white and aching, like if he grips hard enough, he can force the thoughts out of him by sheer will.
Enough.
A breath hisses through his teeth, tight and thin and far more emotional than he’d ever allow himself to sound out loud. he throws himself onto the old leather chair shoved into the corner of his bedroom.
The thing groans beneath him like it’s just as exasperated with him as he is. It’s been his brooding chair since he was ten. It’s seen everything: blood, bruises, silence. tonight, it sees a kind of ache it's never seen before.
Rain drizzles down the windows in a soft, half-hearted rhythm. It’s the gotham kind of rain. but this time it's not the angry kind, not storming kind either. just tired. persistent. the sky outside is a smear of cold, colorless gray. he doesn't need to check the time. not again. he already has multiple times, it's 2:00 am.
Wayne Manor at night is its own sort of living thing. It breathes in silence and exhales memory. every hallway feels too long. every portrait watches too closely. the air seems too still. you can hear a clock ticking from three rooms away. even the shadows feel old. and when the house is this quiet, his thoughts get loud. they expand. echo. and right now, his thoughts are the last damn thing he wants amplified.
His sketchbook rests open on his desk. The page stares back at him-blank. waiting. taunting. page number... who knows. It doesn’t matter. he’s filled hundreds of these pages by now. but somehow this one feels heavier. more expectant. like it already knows what he’s going to draw. and like it’s laughing at him for trying to fight it.
It’s mocking him.
the blank page. the pencil in his hand. the silence of the room. all of it. mocking.
he would say it aloud-confess that he can hear it laughing at him. that would sound insane. and Damian Wayne doesn’t do insane. at least not the kind that makes you talk to paper. but sounding crazy isn’t even what’s bothering him right now. that’s how far gone he is. that’s how bad this is. right now, everything else seems like a minor inconvenience.
he’s not worried about sleep or the exam he has tomorrow in a class with the worlds most insufferable teacher. what’s getting under his skin is the idea that his own brain has decided this piece of paper knows him better than he does. and the fact that tonight you've followed your own yellow brick road right into his head and made yourself at home.
To be honest, quietly, bitterly honest, this isn’t the first time you’ve found your way into his head.
It started the day he met you. he doesn’t know why. you weren’t the loudest voice in the room. you didn’t chase the spotlight or try to charm everyone like the people he’s seen at his father’s galas. their perfect smiles and polished words. that kind of performance never worked on him anyway.
You didn’t demand attention the way those people did. didn’t perform for the room or try to catch anyone’s eye. but by some divine intervention, you slipped past his guard like it was nothing. beat the odds of staying in his head, like the kind of odds and luck people win the lottery with. only, he wouldn’t call it luck. it's not lucky for him though. If it were luck, you wouldn’t be there all the time. you wouldn't be there constantly, threaded through his thoughts, sitting stubbornly in the back of his mind when he’s supposed to be focusing on literally anything else.
you showed up, a director to his brain, and announced action and his brain has been following your lead ever since.
you’ve been showing up in his dreams. in quiet moments between drills. between breaths. between the pages of books he doesn’t finish anymore because he ends up thinking about how you’d probably like them. he’s tried everything to push you out. he meditated until his limbs went numb. that didn’t work. tried ignoring you which lasted two days before he cracked and said something cold and clipped just so he could break the silence, he trained until his hands were shaking from exhaustion. that didn’t work either.
he also can’t talk to anyone about it. he has to deal with this on his own, despite having no experiences with feelings like this.
not grayson, who would tease and then say something ridiculous like “it's just a crush, it's okay to feel like this yada yada.” because it wasn't okay. and this obviously was way worse than just a crush.
he couldn't ask father, who would raise an eyebrow and say something vaguely wise and completely unhelpful. not todd or drake. and definitely not his mother. she’d sneer. call it weakness. maybe it is. maybe she’s right. maybe he agrees with her.
what kind of warrior gets undone by a girl?
the thought of therapy crossed his mind once. he’s heard of it. read enough reports to understand how it’s supposed to work. talk. process. heal. whatever. but it’s not for him. he’s Damian Wayne. he doesn’t talk about feelings to some stranger in a white coat. he gets through. he survives. therapy was never for someone like him. and even if he did try, what the hell would he say?
that there’s a girl stuck in his head and it’s annoying? that it gets under his skin in ways he doesn’t have names for? that some days, it feels like your voice echoes louder than his own thoughts, and no amount of training, of silence, of bruised knuckles can push it out?
he would never say that some part of him, some small, treacherous part, would give up the fight, the league, all of it, just to sit across from you in peace, to live a life where he never has to say the words “assassin” or “bloodline” again. nope. he will also never say that your absence leaves a sharper ache than any blade he's ever taken to the ribs.
It sounds weak. soft. pathetic, even.
something he would’ve scoffed at not long ago. something he might’ve called pitiful in someone else.
but it’s so very real.
because he’s been shot. stabbed. left in the dirt with nothing but the sound of his own breathing and the sting of his own failures. he’s taken hits that shattered bone. fought through pain so sharp it made the edges of the world go white and still, none of it ever made him feel this exposed.
this unguarded. like someone cracked open his chest and left everything on display. every nerve, every feeling he never wanted to name. It’s not physical pain that unsettles him. he can handle pain. he can't handle the fact that you matter though.
somewhere along the way of all those thoughts, the pencil made its way into his hand. he doesn’t remember reaching for it. doesn’t remember curling his fingers around it. but it’s there now, resting lightly between calloused fingers, like it always does. he’s on autopilot. which is already a bad sign.
he tells himself to get it together. to sketch something practical. a bird’s wingspan. a new gauntlet modification. the layout of a building if he has to. something tactical. something with purpose.
but when the pencil meets the paper, it doesn’t obey. his hand moves on its own. long, confident strokes, trained muscle memory. a familiar line forms. then another. the slope of a jaw. the curve of a mouth. the arch of an eyebrow that always seems to rise whenever you’re being particularly annoying. and then, worst of all, the eyes. not just generic ones. yours. the ones that squint when you’re holding back a laugh. and the ones that widen when you taste something you really love, so much so that you’d swear it’s life-changing.
He doesn’t even realize what he’s doing until it’s already done.
he scowls, swears under his breath in arabic, and slams the sketchbook shut. the sound is loud in the silence, but not loud enough to drown out the sound of his own heartbeat, which seems to speed up at the thought of you. he tosses the pencil down with too much force. it rolls across the desk, hits the edge, falls. he lets it.
damian leans back in the chair and stares up at the ceiling, jaw clenched, hands pressed together. His arms are stiff. His spine aches. His chest feels tight, like there’s something inside him clawing to be let out.
he tells himself- no, commands himself to draw something else. anything else. a skyline. a katana. the curve of a rooftop edge, the silhouette of a bat against the moon, the outline of a fucking grapefruit. this time he doesn't care about drawing something tactical or practical. he just needs to get you out of his mind, or try to.
he should draw something safe. neutral. objective. Something that proves he is in control of himself and his brain and his hands. something that proves he is not thinking about you.
but.
of course.
you’re already in his head.
you’ve moved in and brought noise with you.
not actual noise. not your voice. he knows that much. he hasn’t quite crossed the line into hearing things that aren’t there. at least, not yet. but with how things are going, he wouldn’t be surprised if that happened soon.
you’re probably asleep right now, tucked away somewhere on the other side of the city, curled under a blanket with half your face smashed into a pillow. the same pillow you shamelessly drool on, though you’d deny it if anyone called you out.
he knows how you sleep and how you sprawl. it's in the way that looks like your limbs forgot they belonged to one body. arms flung this way, legs tangled that way, taking up every inch of the bed.
he’s seen it.
on movie nights you insisted on. when your eyes got heavy halfway through some old black-and-white film you were adamant on watching. you’d knock out leaning against him. mouth open, breathing slow, completely unaware of what you were doing to him. and he let you. sat there like a statue, an idiot statue. but letting you rest against him was a test he refused to fail. he could’ve nudged you off. could’ve cleared his throat, shifted away.
but he didn’t.
not once.
he told himself he didn’t care.
he told himself it meant nothing.
but that was a lie.
and he hasn’t stopped lying since.
back to the sketch. or the lack thereof. he's starting over.
he doesn’t bother picking up the pencil that rolled off the desk. just lets it stay there on the floor, like it’s exiled. maybe it deserved it for betraying him by drawing you in the first place.
instead, he grabs another.
the graphite scratches quiet across the page.
the first line is nothing. a curve, shapeless and vague. could be the edge of a rooftop. the arc of a blade. the bend of a cat’s back mid-pounce. it doesn’t matter. he keeps going. another line. then another. his hand moves on instinct, not intention.
It should be nothing. just muscle memory. just form and technique.
but it’s not. he knows where this is heading.
his wrist keeps moving. thoughtlessly. confidently. it seems his fingers have a map his mind hasn’t seen yet. and by the time he registers what he’s doing and really, truly looks down, it’s too late.
there’s your jawline.
crisp and familiar.
Your cheekbones begin to form, graceful and sloped in that way he won't admit he’s spent time analyzing. the bridge of your nose is there now, and worse, his hand has already started filling in the curve of your lips. he’s not even halfway done and his body has betrayed him once more. his heart beating fast and loud and infuriatingly alive.
no. no, no, no.
this is not happening. he’s not doing this. he cannot be doing this.
and yet, he is. he is doing this.
his grip tightens around the new pencil. of course, this one ends up turning on him too.
his stomach twists, it’s punishing him for something he hasn’t come to terms with yet. His shoulders lock out of habit, discipline digging in where softness tries to get through.
it’s really annoying.
his body already made a decision his mind hasn’t agreed to. he's feeling like every hour he spent learning control, precision, resistance-- every scar, every strike, every silence, meant nothing the second he laid eyes on you.
He shuts the cover of the sketchbook gently before he even finishes the drawing. the lines are still half-formed, the image incomplete, but he can’t bring himself to keep going. his hand stills, hovering for a moment like maybe he’ll change his mind and re-open the book, but he doesn’t. the pencil drops beside his sketchbook with a soft, final sort of sound.
he sits there thinking about how there’s something unkind about it. about what's happening to him. about what he's feeling. that even now, even with everything he knows about control, about restraint, about keeping his distance, his hands still choose you despite him not wanting them too.
maybe it’s karma. he wouldn’t be surprised. that would make sense, wouldn’t it? he’s not naive enough to think he’s owed peace, or grace, or anything soft. he can admit he’s made mistakes, though even that word feels too gentle, too forgiving.
“mistake” sounds like tripping over a crack in the sidewalk or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. he wouldn't consider what he's done as "mistakes". they’re not mistakes. they’re choices. intentional. calculated. final. blood on his hands that no amount of training, time, or water can wash off. every decision, every action, feels etched into him in a way that no word can fully capture.
and then there’s the thought. an ugly, persistent whisper in the back of his mind, the one that won’t shut up: what would you think if you knew everything? If you knew the full measure of his deeds, the cold precision with which he carried out his orders, the blood and ruin left in his wake and also the way he’s thinking about you right now.
would you recoil in horror? Would you look at him with disgust, seeing in him a monster too far gone to be redeemed? the idea gnaws at him, twisting his insides until it feels like his stomach has tied itself in knots.
Why is he terrified of what you’d think? why would he care if you see him as a monster? Why is it that, at the same time, he thinks about the fact that you make him forget all of it? even if it’s just for a second. the way his mind turns to you, even when he knows he has no right to feel this way.
the guilt presses down hard, suffocating. But what hurts more is the disgust. the way he can’t stand the idea that he’s even capable of feeling this about you.
he tells himself he deserves every ounce of this self-reproach. he’s not innocent, not in the slightest. but despite all the harsh logic and unyielding discipline he’s clung to, there’s a softness in his heart that makes him long for redemption, or perhaps even forgiveness. every heartbeat is a reminder of his past, echoing the silent question: Could you ever see beyond the sins of his past to something different?
Would you? He knows you. or at least he thinks he does.
He knows the softness of your expressions. the curve of your smile. the light in your eyes when you’re teasing him. the exact tilt of your head when you laugh, and the way your eyes crease at the corners. he remembers everything.
and all of it has bled onto the pages of his sketchbook. line by stupid line.
there’s a dull throb behind his eyes. he blinks, finally, and swallows hard around nothing.
What the hell is happening to him? deep down he knows, but he won't accept it. so for now, he'll play the fool.
his body feels wrong. slow. off-balance. his thoughts are moving faster than his skin can keep up with. It's like he’s chasing something in a dream and keeps waking up just before he catches it.
And you are the center of that dissonance.
he shouldn't crave any of this. not for warmth that asks nothing of him. not for feelings that arrive uninvited. quiet, persistent things that slip beneath his guard in the dead of night and make a home out of the places he swore were impenetrable.
they settle in his chest like they’ve always belonged. but they can’t. because Damian Wayne doesn’t fall apart. he doesn’t lose focus. he can't afford to. he can't want something just because it makes him feel good.
He was trained before he knew what it meant to choose anything for himself. before he had a chance to want anything. and yet here he is, wanting. but at the same time not wanting to want. and it’s unbearable. he's so very conflicted.
there’s no margin for any of that in his bloodline. no one trained him to sit still with his feelings. no one handed him the cure for this kind of ache. there were no lessons on vulnerability. only on how to strike first, how to read a threat before it made itself known, how to shut every door that made him human. he was taught to break bones, not fall in love. he certainly wasn't taught how to navigate the tremble in his hands when he sees your name on his phone screen.
this thing he's experiencing takes up too much room inside him. this ache in his chest that spikes every time he sees you talking to someone else. this frustration that coils in his stomach when he can’t seem to find the right words to say to you.
no one gave him a blueprint for this.
and he never asked for one.
but now he thinks maybe he should’ve. despite whatever answer he would've gotten.
because whatever this is, this thing with your face tangled in every corner, this thing with your name written all over it, is not fading. not blurring. not leaving like it should. it’s staying.
He's angry. at you. at himself. at whatever cruel, laughing god decided this was his fate. why the hell is he here. sitting in the dark with a sketchbook on his desk that he closed after whatever just happened and your face living in every corner of his skull?
he forces his eyes shut. breathes in through his nose, slow and deliberate, he wants to believe discipline alone might save him from whatever the hell this is. He sits motionless for a beat, jaw tight, spine stiff, a soldier awaiting orders. maybe if he holds still enough, it’ll all fall away.
because he is not some moonstruck teenager. He does not sit around sighing at ceilings like an idiot with a crush in some poorly written teen drama.
his childhood was silence where there should’ve been comfort, order where there should’ve been chaos, expectation where there should’ve been choice. He was built to survive, not to feel. everything he’s ever felt, he’s learned to hide. emotions are weaknesses. vulnerabilities. and he’s always kept his locked away, sealed tight like volatile gas behind reinforced glass. out of reach. out of sight. contained.
he tells himself once more that he shouldn’t be feeling any of this.
He hates how much he does.
this entire spiral feels beneath him. It’s inefficient. irrational. weak. there is no function to this emotion. It doesn’t sharpen his aim. It doesn’t enhance his reflexes. It clutters his thoughts, derails his focus. and he prides himself on focus. discipline. efficiency. his brain has always been a fortress. impenetrable. calculated. he trains harder, pushes longer, endures more than anyone around him. because he has to. because he always has.
His breathing stumbles, uneven, shallow. and it disgusts him. he presses his fingertips to his temple like he could physically push the thoughts out of his skull. his other hand curls into a fist in his lap, nails digging into his palm. he can feel the pulse in his jaw. fast. reluctant. he’s getting a headache, and he can’t even sketch his way out of it this time.
he tips his head back, eyes open now, staring at the ornate ceiling of his room like it might offer some sort of answer. It doesn’t. It never has. the silence in Wayne Manor is heavy and constant, stretching through the halls like a second atmosphere. He’s used to it. but tonight, it feels suffocating.
there’s no solution in the ceiling. no clarity in the walls. only this feeling. this wild, rising pressure inside him that he doesn’t have the words for.
“What the hell is happening to me,” he mutters under his breath, voice low and ragged.
He lets the question hang in the silence. no answers come, only the steady pulse of his own breath and the distant city sounds bleeding through the windows.

CROSS OVER ! - R. SUKUNA X FEM! READER
Pairings - ghost! r. sukuna x fem! reader
summary - your husband—who had now been dead a year, won't cross over, and it's getting harder for him to go to the light. You need to help him finish his business, so he can wait for you in the light. Oh yeah, you can see ghosts by the way.
words - 3.5 k

"I'll ruin you," he promised against her neck, voice all sin and shadow. "Slowly."
She should have shoved him away. Said something righteous. But when his mouth ghosted over her collarbone, her only answer was the sound of her breath catching.
"Say stop," he whispered, fangs grazing her skin. "And I'll pretend to be human again."
But she didn't.
She couldn't.
You hummed, quiet and distracted, flipping the page with a soft flick. A calm smile played at your lips — the kind you wore when you were trying not to react. Trying not to feel anything at all.
Flick.
The lamp beside you turned on.
Flick.
It turned off again.
You let out a loud, deliberate sigh, eyes still on the page. "Sukuna."
His voice came from the other side of the room, too casual. Too smug. "So now you decide to talk to me."
You didn't answer right away. Just turned another page. Slow. Measured. You weren't really reading — hadn't been for the last few chapters — but it gave your hands something to do.
"Don't act like I'm doing it for no reason," you said eventually.
Sukuna shifted on the couch, the leather creaking under his weight. He made himself comfortable — because of course he did. Like this was still his house. His life.
"I haven't done anything," he said.
You finally looked over at him.
He was exactly where you'd left him — sprawled out, one arm draped along the back of the couch, the other resting on his knee. He looked like death warmed over, which made sense. Given the circumstances.
"If by 'haven't done anything' you mean 'haven't crossed over,'" you said, "then yeah. You're right. You haven't done a goddamn thing."
He didn't flinch. Just smiled. That lazy, dead-eyed expression he used to wear when he knew he'd already won the argument.
"I like it here."
You sighed. "Well you don't belong here—not anymore."
"Maybe I'm still here because you want me to be."
You stared at the book, unblinking. "That's not how hauntings work."
"It's exactly how they work."
"No, it isn't—I've been seeing ghosts since I was five, Sukuna. I knew what a haunting was long before you died."
"Yeah? Well, I am dead. That makes me the expert now."
You flipped to the next page of your book, the paper sharp between your fingers. "Just... go. You're dead. I didn't ask for that. And I definitely didn't ask for you to stick around and haunt me like some unfinished project."
He didn't leave. Of course he didn't. His voice was smooth, amused, almost fond.
"Still wearing my ring, though."
A pause.
"Not yours. Mine. Wedding and engagement."
You said nothing.
He drifted closer, or maybe you just felt him closer. The air pulled tight.
"Like you don't want to admit I'm gone. Like some part of you wants me to stay."
You shut the book.
"No," you said, carefully. "I'm grieving. I'm furious that you're gone.but I know what's right, that it's your turn to cross over into the light."
He exhaled — not quite a sigh, not quite a scoff. "But I don't want to," he said. "I can't."
You looked at him then. For real. The way the lamplight passed through his outline made him look half-finished, like he was fading already.
"But you can see the light?" you asked quietly.
He nodded, eyes flicking to the corner of the room. "Yeah. Right over there." He pointed to the left. You followed his gaze but saw nothing.
"Then go. Just go." You stood up. "I can't deal with you, not when I know I can't touch you, hold you, nothing! You're just there, like a piece of furniture." You exclaimed.
He chuckled.
Then he stood. Slow. Gentle. The way he never was when he was alive.
"Alright," he said softly. "I'll go. Just... go to sleep."
You tried to smile. You even managed half of one.
He turned toward the corner.
Took one step.
Then another.
And by the third, he was gone.
—
"This one's from the Heian era," you said, lifting the lacquered relic with practiced care. Your fingertips brushed the worn edge, reverent, steady. "Came in just yesterday. Beautiful condition, considering its age."
The woman leaned in, breath catching. "It's... stunning."
You nodded, lips curling into a soft smile. Five years of owning this shop, and that reaction never got old.
It had started after Sukuna. After the vows, after the chaos of loving someone like him — you needed something slower. Something solid. Something with a past that didn't whisper back at you.
Antiques gave you that.
Every item in your shop had already survived centuries. Breakage, loss, war, abandonment — and still, here they were. Still standing.
Much like you.
"I've always had a thing for the past," you added quietly, tracing a worn pattern in the gold. "The stories behind these things. What they've seen. Who they belonged to."
The woman glanced around, caught in the quiet spell of the shop — the soft light, the scent of old paper and polished wood, the air thick with quiet memory.
You placed the piece gently back on the velvet-lined stand and smiled. "So, what do you think? This one... or are you still thinking about the Kaidō-era incense burner?"
She hesitated, eyes flicking between the two — torn, enchanted, almost reverent.
"I'll take the heian piece."
You smiled clasping your hands together. "I'm very pleased!"
She smiled as you tucked the small jar of koso into the paper bag, wrapping it neatly even though you both knew she'd tear it open before she got home. Still, habits like that—soft hands, careful folding—had a way of making you feel human again.
"That'll be... 2,567 yen," you said, voice gentle but detached, like it had been rehearsed a thousand times before.
She didn't flinch at the total, already counting the coins from her purse with practiced ease. Then she placed the money on the counter, each clink of metal unusually loud in the quiet shop.
"Thank you very much," she said, taking the bag. She paused for a heartbeat. "Such a sweet woman."
You gave her a noncommittal hum, more acknowledgment than gratitude. She didn't seem to notice.
The bell above the door jingled as she walked out, the soft chime echoing for a beat too long. Then silence returned, thick and familiar.
You counted the coins again anyway, out of habit. Sorted them into neat piles. Slid the drawer of the till shut. The shop felt colder now. Not physically, but in that subtle way silence sometimes scratches at the back of your mind, just before—
"Hey there."
You screamed.
The sound tore out of you without warning, a raw, startled sound that echoed against the dusty walls. You spun around, breath caught in your chest, stomach already sinking before your eyes even landed on him.
And there he was.
Of course.
Sukuna.
Smirking, hands in the pockets of a coat he wasn't wearing when he died. Standing like the rules of reality had never applied to him.
You frowned, wiping a hand over your face. "Are you actually serious right now?"
He tilted his head, that lazy smirk growing. "Look at my pretty wife, working so hard. Don't you get tired being this adorable all day?"
You stared at him, jaw clenched. "Why haven't you crossed over?"
He shrugged. "Never said I would."
"You did last night! You said you would!"
He looked unconcerned. "I said, 'I'll go.' I never said, 'Yes dear, I'll go cross over for you.'"
"Same thing!"
"Nope." He stepped closer. His voice dropped just a little, almost soft. "I'm not going. I'm not leaving you."
Your hands curled into fists. "You have to go, Sukuna. You can't keep doing this—just showing up like nothing happened. I buried you."
"I know," he said quietly. "I was there, remember? Front row."
"Don't joke."
"I'm not." His expression faltered for a split second—long enough to catch it. "I just don't want to leave. Not yet."
"You have to!" Your voice cracked, sharper than before. "You're dead, Sukuna. This—whatever this is—it's not fair. It's not real. You're not supposed to be here anymore."
He didn't move. Just stood there, watching you fall apart like you always did when he pushed you too far.
You took a shaky breath. "Cross over... or I swear to God, I'll stop loving you. I'll never forgive you for this."
That finally made him blink.
He stepped back, but not far enough. His voice was quiet now. "That won't be the case. You'll always love me. You know that."
"I—" You faltered, words knotted in your throat. "Shut up. Just... shut up and leave me alone."
You turned your back on him, closing your eyes like that might undo it, erase him, pull you back into a world that made sense.
A breath passed. Then another.
He sighed—loud, theatrical, familiar. Like he always did when you won a fight and he let you pretend it was your idea.
"See you later," he said.
And then he was gone.
Again.
Just like always.
—
It had been five days.
Not a long time, really. Barely a blip in the grand stretch of a calendar.
But it mattered.
Because Sukuna hadn't come back.
Five full days of silence. Not just the usual quiet that filled your home when the shop closed and the lights dimmed—this was different. This silence felt unnatural. Hollow. A space where something used to be. Where he used to be.
And maybe... maybe he'd crossed over.
That was good, wasn't it? You told him to go. Begged him, really. Shouted it at him like an ultimatum you never truly meant.
So he listened. And left.
You should be happy. At peace. That's what people say—you helped him move on, as if that's some kind of achievement. As if you're a stronger person for letting go.
But were you really happy?
No. Of course not.
You sat in the silence, waiting. Pretending not to. Convincing yourself you didn't still glance over your shoulder, flinch at the sound of your own breath in the hallway, freeze every time the front door creaked—hoping, stupidly, that it was him.
It'd be selfish to want him back. He was probably at peace now. Maybe even happy, finally. Waiting for you. Watching from the light, like people in books and movies always do.
Still.
Your six-year anniversary was coming up.
That was the part that caught you in the ribs.
You used to joke about it—how he remembered the day down to the hour, even if he pretended to forget. How he'd scowl and roll his eyes when you brought it up, but still always showed up with flowers and your favorite wine. How he'd call you "ridiculously sentimental" while pressing a kiss to your wrist and pulling you close.
But this year, there was nothing.
No knock on the window. No voice behind you. No smirk in the mirror. No ghost.
Just silence.
You sighed and turned toward your mirror, pausing to look at your reflection. The room behind you was still, like it was holding its breath.
You wore the dress. The one he bought you three years ago on a whim because it was "too damn perfect not to." The one you wore when he proposed to you on the rooftop. The one he tugged off later that night, fingers reverent and teasing all at once.
It was the dress you realized you loved him in. Not just loved. Chose him. Completely.
And now, you were wearing it again. Alone.
You didn't even know why you put it on. Maybe you were trying to summon him, like a ritual. Maybe you just needed to feel something other than aching emptiness.
You reached for your bag, fingers trembling slightly as you grabbed your keys.
You knew where you'd go.
~
You stood at the edge of the rooftop, the city stretching out beneath you in dull glimmers and distant noise. The wind pulled gently at your dress, lifting the hem like invisible fingers still curious about you. The night air was cool, but not cold. Comfortable, if not a little lonely.
You set the old boombox down by your foot with a soft thud, the plastic casing scuffed from years of being dragged around—picnics, road trips, impromptu dance parties in your cramped living room. It still worked, barely. The rewind button was jammed and the volume dial crackled if you touched it too fast.
But it worked.
You clicked play.
The opening synth of Hungry Eyes bled into the night, too loud, too romantic, too specific. And perfect.
It was always this song. Always.
You set the bottle of wine beside it—a red, the expensive kind he used to complain about because "no one with working taste buds needs to spend that much on fermented grapes," but he always bought it anyway. The cork popped a little too early. You poured a glass anyway.
Tonight was going to be perfect.
Not in a dramatic, Instagram-worthy, movie-ending kind of way. But your kind of perfect.
You sat on the edge of the rooftop, dress pooling around your hips, heels kicked off somewhere behind you. Your legs dangled off the side like you were sixteen again, like gravity didn't apply as long as you didn't look down.
Your glass trembled slightly in your hand. You blamed the wind.
You looked out over the city. Some couples were probably slow dancing in their kitchens. Some were fighting over whose turn it was to take out the trash. Some were in love. Some were leaving each other.
You were doing none of those things.
Just sitting.
Just listening.
Just waiting.
The chorus hit
You closed your eyes. Let the song wash over you, bubble up all the memories you'd been trying to lock down for five days straight. The dance in your old apartment with the flickering lights.
The way his hand slipped onto your hip, warm and casual, like it belonged there. The grin that split his face when he saw you try to twirl and nearly fell into the bookshelf. The quiet after.
His breath near your ear, and the whisper: "You're it for me, you know that?"
You took a sip of wine. It didn't burn enough.
The city didn't stop for you. No one knew this was the night he asked you to marry him. No one knew what the dress meant, what the song meant, what this rooftop meant.
It was your secret shrine. Your grief. Your anniversary.
You didn't even know if he'd come.
Maybe he wouldn't. Maybe this was the real goodbye, and five days of silence was all you were going to get. Maybe the universe had finally listened to you—for once—and taken him away properly. Permanently.
You wiped your cheek before the tears could fall far enough to be real.
"Happy anniversary," you whispered into the wind.
Your voice sounded too small, too fragile—like it might break apart before the wind could carry it anywhere. But you said it anyway.
And then you waited.
Because no matter how many times you told yourself it was over—
Some quiet, unreasonable part of you still believed he might answer.
Then:
"Thought you'd be here."
You turned at once.
Sukuna.
He stood at the edge of the rooftop, bathed in that soft twilight glow that made everything feel like memory. Like dream. His hands in his pockets, that crooked, knowing smile you hadn't seen in so long.
You stumbled to your feet, breath caught in your throat as you ran to him. "I... I didn't think—"
Your hand hovered near his chest. You wanted to touch him, but the ache of what wasn't real, of what you couldn't hold, was already pulling at your ribs.
But then he reached first.
His fingers curled around yours—solid, warm. Like it used to be.
You looked up at him, disbelieving.
You could touch him, feel him. And he could feel the same.
"I had to give it time," he said quietly, raising your hand to his cheek. "I'm sorry I left like that. But I had to come back for this—for you. For our anniversary. To dance. To see my wife one last time."
Tears blurred your vision. His skin felt real. His voice sounded real. And that made it hurt more.
"Y/n" he murmured, "dance with me?"
You nodded, barely able to breathe, and let him draw you close. One arm around your waist, the other holding your hand. He took the first step, slow and steady, guiding you as if music filled the air—even though there was none. Just the wind, the faint hum of the city below, and the sound of your own trembling breath.
You moved together in silence, his movements careful and sure, yours unsteady at first. But muscle memory, that old rhythm, came back.
He pressed his forehead to yours. "You changed me," he said softly. "I used to be—"
"An asshole," you whispered, a soft laugh breaking through your tears.
He smiled. "Yeah. That. But with you... God, it wasn't even about your body, or what people saw. It was you. The way you looked at me. The way you never backed down, even when I was awful."
You clung to him tighter, swaying with him across the rooftop. It didn't matter that there was no music. You remembered the song from your wedding night. He must have remembered too—because he began to hum it.
It was off-key, low and gravelly, but it made your heart twist in your chest.
"I didn't deserve you," he said, brushing your hair from your face. "But you still gave me everything. And then I died."
More tears fell. He wiped them gently away, his thumb soft against your cheek.
"It wasn't your fault," he said firmly. "The crash, the road—it was me. I was distracted, reckless. But I would've done it all again. I would've driven through storms and fire for you."
"I can't accept that," you choked. "If I hadn't called you... If I hadn't made you come all that way—"
"Don't." He stopped, holding your face between his hands. "Don't carry that. I never blamed you. I never could. You were the reason I lived in the first place. For once, I had something worth everything."
The music in your head swelled again—memories of an old song and an old life. You kept dancing.
His hand pressed to your back, holding you steady, close. Your bodies moved like a memory, the kind that visits just before sleep. He spun you gently, then pulled you back in, arms wrapping around you tightly.
"I would've done anything for you," he said, voice thick. "And that night? It was enough. I had already been given more than I deserved."
You rested your head on his chest, listening for a heartbeat that wasn't there. And still, you swore you could hear it.
He whispered into your hair, "Will you be alright when I go?"
You hesitated. "No one will ever be you. But I'll be alright. I know what's right. You have to go, and I have to stay."
You looked up at him and smiled through your tears. "But you'll wait for me, won't you? You won't find anyone in heaven, right?"
He chuckled low. "Never. Never," he said, eyes shining. "I wouldn't dare."
He spun you once more—slow and tender, the kind of dance made for goodbye. Then he leaned in, brushing your lips with his.
Soft. Familiar. Home.
"I'll be waiting," he said.
And then he stepped back.
The light behind him had grown. It bled gold across the rooftop, casting him in something ethereal and whole.
"It's brighter now," he murmured, looking over his shoulder. "It's... beautiful." He laughed—just once, and it sounded like it used to, rich and full of life.
Then he looked at you one last time.
"Happy anniversary, I love you."
And then—
He was gone.
Not far. Not away.
Just... gone.
But you know he'll wait.
He always will.
And you love him for that.

(prompt was also from her) nooo viv don't die from thesis you're so sexy aha... 💙
There are three things you register when you wake up.
First: It’s cold. There’s sunlight streaking through the windows and you’re under a blanket— which is decisively not yours, by the way— yet you’re freezing, chilled to the bone. The answer to that question brings you to realization number two.
You’re stripped down to your underclothes. Every inch of your body is rebelling at you for your mistreatment. The copious amount of alcohol you’d consumed the night before, the consequences of that raging bender. All of which leads to the last but not the least of the facts—
There’s an arm around your waist, a solid weight pressed against your back. It takes you an embarrassing amount of time to put a name to the body curved around you like a parentheses.
Cheol, he had told you on the dance floor, his eyes glinting under the low lights. Seungcheol, if you want this to be more than a one-time thing.
It’s ridiculous, how that sad excuse for a pick-up line had drawn you in. Your memories of last night are a blur. Flashes of hands, of lips, of Seungcheol’s low voice coaxing you apart like a prayer.
Carefully, you peel yourself from the bed. Your body aches in seven different places. Inasmuch as you want to blame all the Long Island iced teas and Cuba libres you’d downed, you know it has less to do with that and everything to do with the man you’re about to walk away from.
Seungcheol is still asleep, his face buried into his pillow. His chest rises and falls with a kind of steadiness that makes it hard to believe how utterly reckless he’d been with you just hours ago.
All of that blurs together, too. There’s bits and bobs of it in your mind’s eye: His hand in your hair, your knees on the carpet. You wince.
You try to not make any noise as you clean up. This was the name of the game, after all. This was going to be a story you tell your friends on your way home, a tale regaled via a long-winded voice note. An uptick in your body count. Another reason why you should never drink beer before liquor.
Your dress is crumpled on the floor. You go to pick it up—
The zipper is shredded.
The seam, split clean down the back.
What the fuck.
Your pulse hammers as you hold up the ruined garment, blinking like that’ll somehow fix it. It’s not like the dress holds any sentimental value. You’d bought it online specifically for your night out, had prepared to outgrow it in a year or two. You didn’t think you’d only get one wear out of it.
The dress’ demise comes back to you slowly. Seungcheol’s impatient hands, the desperate way he had tugged the fabric when it wouldn’t come off fast enough.
You remember the way his muscles had rippled underneath the low light. The faint sound of tearing. His muttered curse, his half-hearted apology said right before he dove in to relish in the newly-revealed skin. You’d been too far gone to care, then.
Now, though? Oh, you care.
You’re still gaping at the dress when you hear the bed creak. “Good morning, beautiful,” the culprit grouses.
You can tell that it’s his usual pleasantry, his typical cheeky greeting to all of his conquests. All that bravado fades, though, when you face him with the tatters of your dress still in your hand.
“Ah, shit.” Seungcheol’s voice is raspy from alcohol and sleep. He props himself up on his elbows, and— to give him some credit— he looks genuinely repentant.
His hair is a mess; his face, already a deep red as he registers what you’re holding.
“I— I can pay for that,” he stutters.
It’s almost comical, really. This is the same man who had you writhing underneath him, who had whispered pure filth into the crook of your neck. Now, he was blushing like a kid caught stealing from a cookie jar.
Your teeth sink into your lower lip, like you haven’t quite decided if you’re going to be angry or laugh. “I don’t even think a tailor could save this.”
Seungcheol rubs his face with both hands. “I don’t know what came over me,” he groans.
One of your eyebrows cock upwards. “I think you do.”
He peeks at you between his fingers. You watch the way his throat bobs as his gaze flickers over your bare legs, the marks he left blooming across your skin. Claims he shouldn’t be able to make, and yet he’d gone and taken all the same.
“It’s not funny,” he says into the heel of his palm, but he’s already grinning despite his voice remaining low and rough.
“It’s kind of funny,” you counter.
You let the ruined dress drop to the floor. It looks even more pitiful as it pools around your feet, and Seungcheol’s jaw ticks at the blatancy of his misgivings.
“That’s never happened before,” he notes. Despite the fact he looks worse for wear, you can decipher the sincerity behind his words.
This was not part of the plan, not a plot point in the usual story. Both of you were far more accustomed to clean cuts. One-night stands with no promises; quiet come-and-go’s.
“I’ll buy you a new one,” he says, fingers curling in the sheets. His tongue darts out to wet his lips and you just know he’s contemplating his next course of action. Loaning you some of his spare clothes would be the way to go. He could also—
Seungcheol’s voice drops like a weight. “You could… stay a little longer.”
Until what, exactly, you’d love to know. Is he planning a same-day delivery for a replacement dress? Does he intend to hold you hostage until he’s a little more willing to send you off in a shirt he can bear to lose?
You should be pissed. You should scold him, should rummage through his cabinet yourself and be on your merry way. The name of the game.
But the way he’s looking at you— wrecked and wanting, like he might split apart if you walk out his door— makes it impossible to do anything but crawl back into his bed.
He’s still embarrassed. You can tell from the way he tenses when you kiss him, the way his fingers barely ghost over your hip. Seungcheol tastes like cola, like something distinctly him, and like The Biggest Mistake You’re Ever Going To Make.
To hell with it.
“Try not to wreck the only clothes I have left,” you say against his mouth, “Seungcheol.”
You feel his smile instead of seeing it. The way his lips curl around yours, pleased at your choice.
He tugs at the waistband of your underwear, his touch a lot more gentle than last night. As he pulls it off, he mumbles, “No promises.”
