“these characters should be mentally healthy before they get together 😌” ummm no I actually think we should smash their mental illnesses together like clumps of play-doh and see what colors it makes

#they should live under each other’s skin in a way that’s weird to everyone else. actually.#also on a more serious note since this is getting notes mental illness does not preclude people from deserving love #or the ability to give and receive it #it also does not make you inherently toxic #sometimes people are just toxic anyways of course #and a lot of people enjoy a toxic ship and are relating that to this and that’s cool!#but like #if you believe that’s the only option you’re wrong buddy #people can be worse together but they can also be better #acting like a character or a person has to ‘fix’ their trauma or what have you to be worthy is. a fucking weird mindset.#but anyways!

The feminine urge to wait for this valentine's day top to go on sale so I can buy it cheap and essentially deconstruct and remake it so it's good actually is haunting me

edwin told charles "loads of stories about hell" - but it seems like all of it was information to prepare charles in case he ever needed to escape. maps, levels of hell, how to pass between spaces, how to avoid the misery wraiths and other penitents.

charles had an idea of what supplies he'd need to bring and what to look for. but he had no concept of what edwin actually endured.

#dead boy detectives #on another note this makes me think of how edwin often expresses his care for charles by constantly worrying and being overly cautious #to protect him from ever encountering the difficulty in the first place #and to charles it feels like criticism. like he can't handle things if they go wrong. or like he isn't trusted to be careful #but i think he also hears the love in it. and that's why he does it to himself with a smile #hi it's mental illness hours

#keese draws #new game+#grips sink and tries not to cry #isat #ok anyways I just drew this because I wanted to try out an isat profile html someone on toyhouse made #plus I’ve been rotating early on less completely fucked up chou in my mind recently #anyways did you know that comicfrin (at least in one panel) doesn’t wear gloves? fun stuff #oh wait speaking of forgot to tag them #comic siffrin #anyways important note! them looking less disheveled than siffrin is on purpose #chou started off their loops Far more mentally stable than siffrin and actually managed pretty well their first run through #it still was rough and they still were a bit of a sad wet trembling puppy abt it but they were generally doing just fine #they didn’t even go on a self loathing monologue after their first death! who is this guy!#dw the self loathing is still there it just takes a bit longer to hit in full force since again they started off more stable #anyways I probably should have cross referenced some move animations for this but I think I got the point across that they’re a support #unit even if the turn passing gimmic is not rly evident (idk if I could make it evident tbf)#shout out to how in their default kit they have 6 turn passing skills and only one attacking skill #also said attack as a cooldown of. five turns. tbf that’s because it has a pretty strong secondary effect #they also have three other support moves where they boost different damage types for a round #so yeah they’re basically pure support which they sorta had to be at first because bestie started off at level like. 5.#they ofc switch up their kit pretty damn fast after the first run #but first time around when they were leveling at abt the same rate as everyone else they were content to play support

aphmau habitually calling levin "my baby"/"baby"/"sweet baby" and things to that effect post time skip and he kind of just brushes it off cause it's just a nickname but like. to her he really is just a baby. like that's her little boy she cannot fathom why he's in charge of a whole village. Last she checked he was learning to read. and remembering that he's not that little anymore makes her remember all that she's lost and will never get back. so instead she'll just keep calling him her baby and he'll let her because maybe to him he's still her little baby levin too.

dude. my life fucking rules. feathered velociraptor shleich figurine for $2 at the op shop. captain of one of my favourite ferries complimented my shirt TWICE (and we are now introduced!). new friend waved me over to sit next to her in a lecture. found a way to make my pony collection even more enjoyable. sky was so beautiful it was a crazy pale blue and there were cirrus clouds catching the sun. the ocean looked like molten green glass. I'm going swimming in the sea and having lunch with a few friends in a weeks time. I've earned 500 dollars this week just from my art which is a milestone I didn't expect to hit without joining a company. I'm not feeling as fatigued as usual. it rained in the morning which was really lovely. I thought I was going to be super late for uni but I made it right on time. I'm kind of in love with the world today

#listen to my gibberish boy #all of these are small things. some of them you have to consciously notice e.g. the sky. the sea. the rain #one of them is just 'not being late'. but my god. everything together amounts for so much #maybe silly but noting down all the good things that happen to me during the day has been absolutely incredible for my mental health #I'm so serious. its a big reason I went from crying every day to crying maybe once a month. you NEED to look for the tiny good.#the tiny good is always there. even if your life is miserable. maybe the water you drank was refreshing. maybe you talked to a friend #maybe you had a nice dream. or watched a funny video.#everything good that happens to you. notice it. think about it when it happens. it's crazy how big of a difference it can make sometimes #so much of misery or happiness is perception. if you tell yourself 'today was a horrible day so much went wrong' then in your mind #it will become a horrible day forever. not to say you can't have bad days #I have bad days fairly often! it's just that I try not to give the shit things too much attention #like ALSO today. my fever kept going. I had a stomach ache. I had to catch up on 3 hours of lectures. I tripped on my way through uni.#but if I dwell on those things they'll become a permanent part of my memory of today. you sometimes have the choice to remember or forget #certain things. try it for a few weeks [: it might make a difference
