You know Mey Rin and Grelle have gone bonkers over horror movies together
Whether in general hyping each other up for whats about to happen
Going feral over the killer whether male or female together
Criticizing all the lamer weaker characters that definitely do not survive together
Debating the mysteries in the plot if they’ve never seen the movie before and trying to figure out who is doing shit
On occasion also cuddling and holding each other tight during emotional moments 💕💕💕
Grelle openly revealing in certain scenarios certain things do freak her out and make her jump and Mey Rin IMMEDIATELY comforting her 💕💕💕💕

Hi! I loved all of your works about hugh jackman, he’s such a nice guy! Will it be fine if you could write one where the reader shows up during his shoot/interview as a surprise? I need a lot of fluff in my life rn 😂
SURPRISE ༘⋆
Tumblr media
in which you surprise hugh at his interview with ryan
warnings: none, just fluff!
i’m living for the hugh jackman supremacy icel
also catch the andrew garfield ref👀
you knew hugh had a tendency of constantly talking about you at interviews where he was meant to talk on his film, however when you snuck behind the scenes to surprise him, you couldn’t help the smile on your face at his words.
“yeah y/n, y’know she’s like a shot of espresso. she’s like… being bathed in the sunlight. she’s incredibly energetic and enthusiastic and she has this sense of play and fun which is incredibly exciting,” he cheeses, looking at ryan who has a disgusted face put on.
“you are just so sappy i don’t like it!”
hugh laughs, “sorry i just miss her. i haven’t seen her much since filming took place so far away.”
ryan smirked, glancing at you who stood behind hugh’s chair. somehow while he ranted, you managed to sneak around the backdrop and behind hugh.
suddenly ryan’s face turned to horror, pointing at you as a hand was brought to his face, “A GHOST!” he shrieked, causing you to erupt into laughter.
“i’m sorry,” you squeaked out, “i couldn’t help it.”
upon the sound of your voice, hugh’s head snapped around, eyes lighting up when he saw your figure. “hi?” he exclaimed, reaching for one of your hands as he twirled you around to be in front of him.
“hi baby,” a crew member pulled a chair out, placing it down quickly for you. “i missed you,” you mutter, leaning into hugh and ghosting your lips just over his.
he smirks, closing the space, “i missed you too,” he states, muffled by your lips together.
ryan fake gags, “alright nerds, that’s enough! this is a press conference not a damn porno!”
you roll your eyes playfully, intertwining your hand with hugh’s as you continue to listen in on the interview, popping in here and there.
anybody could notice how hugh visibly was more comfortable and relaxed now that you were here, so ryan chose to leave you two alone until the cameras cut.
this is rly short but i hope yall like it bc im cheesing

「 THEIR LOVE LANGUAGE 」
Tumblr media
synopsis: the ways that they show their love
— characters: gojo satoru, fushiguro megumi, okkotsu yuta, nanami kento
— contents: fluff, a lil bit of angst and comfort in nanami's, gn reader
part two | masterlist
Tumblr media
GOJO SATORU ➽ words of affirmation & gift-giving
This man is rich. Plain as day, there is no doubt about that. There is nothing that Satoru won't do to go to the ends of the earth to get you. The number of times you would receive gifts from this man would have Ieiri, Utahime, and even Mei's eyes widen in horror. And maybe even perhaps jealousy—to see a man so high up his ass so utterly devoted to his partner.
His mornings and afternoons would often be spent teaching his young students at Jujutsu Tech, but it didn't stop him from diving into a whirlwind of activity, all stemming from his blatant infatuation with you. Whenever he had the chance, perhaps luring his students for a "trip" with the promise of going to Roppongi, he inevitably found himself scouring the markets for any trinkets that caught his eye. But who could blame him? After all, they were virtually beckoning him to buy it for you—a delicate necklace, a quaint keychain, or a colorful bouquet of wildflowers. Each item held a piece of his heart, a token of his affection waiting to be shared with you and only you.
Satoru wasn't deterred. Hell, he was hardly even fazed by the indifferent stares or the murmurs of disdain that often followed his well-meaning gestures—mostly by his colleagues, probably thinking he was processed by a cursed spirit, God forbid, but I digress. Love wasn’t just a word to be said but a sentiment to be expressed through actions, however small or grand they may appear. But if that was what Satoru really thought a relationship was, then God may as well have struck him down at that moment. It didn't matter what people thought of him or even what material possessions he bestowed upon you; you're his entire world and don't deserve any less.
To be able to feel pampered by his kindness and love through gifts. It warmed your heart to know how special you really were to him. Satoru may be rich, but he also knows about the superficial aspects of a relationship and tries to avoid them. But in the end, if that’s what you want, he'll do whatever it takes to make you happy. All he wishes for is your happiness and nothing more. As the strongest sorcerer in the world, Satoru knows he has a lot of power, and he is willing to put that all on the line for you to flourish. The man, to the surprise of no one, had a knack for flirting, effortlessly winning hearts with his smooth talk and irresistible charm. He can even be a flirt at times, for sure, but Satoru despised that label. To him, it's his way of showing that he is all yours. He's a tease who knows how to use his words to woo you—though it can sometimes be a bit much. You know that what he's doing is just trying to cheer you up.
FUSHIGURO MEGUMI ➽ acts of service & words of affirmation
From the very beginning of your relationship, moments of vulnerability and intimacy were always scarce and few in between. He would never do or say something that you were uncomfortable with. He respects your boundaries and expects the same in return. Megumi, quietly and reservedly, sometimes has trouble articulating his thoughts. His words often fall short of capturing the depth of his feelings. Yet beneath this rock-solid exterior lies a heart that yearns for your happiness above all else—even his own. His emotions are conveyed not through words but through subtle gestures and actions veiled behind his typical stoic demeanour.
As much as Yuji and Nobara would tease him for it, their jests and blatant remarks were all rooted in good faith. Because in the end, when they would see just the way that he would gaze at you and how he would constantly be attentive to your well-being during missions—contrary to popular belief, not smothering you with overprotectiveness but ensuring that he's always there to support you—they would realize how committed Megumi really was. They understand that Megumi's silence speaks volumes. Gojo, for one, would disagree and instead say he was "utterly and completely smitten" with you, his eyes seeing the world through rose-colored lenses, but if that is the case, then so be it.
When he extends a hand to help you out, whether it's on a mission to exorcise cursed spirits or simply going through the strains of daily life, it's a gesture that speaks volumes. To you, his short and sincere words were his way of showing that he cared. He is your protector, and he will ensure you know this about him. You don't have to lift a finger; he's already on it. His presence alone makes your cheeks flush pink.
OKKOTSU YUTA ➽ quality time & physical touch
Yuta cherishes the intimacy of being close to his loved one, especially when it's with you. Throughout his life, he's often felt isolated and disconnected from the world around him. Having someone he's genuinely close to fills his heart with a sense of completeness. And to him, you are everything—his entire world.
Quality time, to Yuta, means all the time—whether you both are on a mission, training, or even just together in the classroom, you best believe that Yuta will be following you around like a dog with its owner. But he doesn't do it just because it's expected. He knows his strength and wants to protect you no matter what. And if he can't find you? Without a doubt, Yuta will be deploying all of his nerves and anxiety to the forefront of his very being to see you.
You understand that, after all the trauma that Yuta's been through in his life, that is what makes up his anxieties. The scars of his past linger and still continue to haunt him—those memories of loss and loneliness. It's a burden he carries with him always, and that hurts. But unbeknownst to you, your presence alone healed him far more than any reverse cursed technique could. It would heal physical injuries, but internal ones? That was all you—the solace in his once dark-lit life.
Yuta's love language becomes evident. Not even the most oblivious people could look at the way Yuta looked at you and assume it was anything other than pure adoration. It's in the gentle brush of your hand against his, the comforting warmth of your embrace, and the way you lean in just a little closer when you speak, just to be able to hear him a bit more clearly. His affection is expressed through subtle touches and lingering gazes. He loves you, and you love him—just the way he is.
NANAMI KENTO ➽ quality time & words of affirmation
Straight up, he's one of the more mature men out there. Nanami is stone-cold, but he is painstakingly thorough in his care in practically everything he does. He can be a workaholic at times, for sure, but he knew what would become of him if that was all that he did. Despite his dedication to his work, he always made a conscious effort to prioritize his relationships and to nurture and cherish the time he had with you. He wanted for both you and him to live a proper and healthy life. Whether you were just feeling off about yourself or going through a tough time, Nanami would be right by your side in a matter of seconds to comfort you.
If he were at work, he would drop everything he was doing, call you directly on his cell phone regardless of the weird looks he was getting from his colleagues, and immediately put on his jacket and drive to where you were, only to see you alone in your shared home curled up on the couch, and that made him angry—more than that. But he knew that, above all else, he needed to comfort you, and perhaps, even himself…
No questions would be asked of him, as he would then lift you up in his arms and reassure you that you didn’t have to tell him now but that he was here for you and would always be. He'd then take you somewhere in hopes of taking your mind off whatever was haunting your thoughts because, in his mind, you didn't deserve that burden while he could help. Even just his words alone would soothe your troubled mind. Every action and gesture he made to guarantee your well-being demonstrated his undying dedication to you. And if those words weren't enough, Nanami would drop everything and show his love through quality time spent together. Whether it was a quiet evening at home or a leisurely stroll through the city streets, he cherished every moment shared in your company.
You cherished having him by your side, and you wouldn't have it any other way. And it didn't matter to him if you were feeling down or struggling with something, down to the littlest thing. And it didn't matter to him if you thought it was troublesome to tell him.
Because he always knew what to say.

People love to compare Roy and Bradley or Ling and Wrath, but I think there is a special beauty in the narrative parallels between Riza and Winry.
Because these woman manage to break out of the Shounen mold in a way that reaches beyond the Strong Female Character trope and quickly secures itself as... good character writing. Period.
And they do so in a very clever way. Someone else on here once pointed out that Hughes/Mustang/Hawkeye are the trio that runs parallel to Ed/Al/Winry and while they aren't narrative foils to each other - at least not in the way many of the other characters are - they do present a similar function within the story. The three young people who went on an adventure. Only Hughes died and Riza and Roy were permanently altered - and Ed, Al, and Winry got a chance to save the world.
But especially when it comes to Riza and Winry there is something more to the comparison. Especially when it comes down to the choices they made.
But why are Riza and Winry more interesting?
Because when Roy recruits Ed and Al, Riza tells Winry that she followed Roy into the military because she had someone to protect - and this - in other stories - would clearly be a setup for Winry later following Ed and Al into the military to "protect" them. A direct parallel between the two "girls" in a Shounen trio. We've all seen it before.
And I think we see Winry play with that thought when she sticks around Central with them after her first apprenticeship in Rush Valley - she tries to be the third girl to Ed and Al's action duo… but it doesn't work out.
She - strong, clever, genius, confidant Winry Rockbell - suddenly feels weak. Because she can't punch danger away from Ed. She can't repair Al's scratches and dents. She can't kill Scar to save her friends and avenge her family. She can't learn how to shoot and kill just to protect her friends - no, that's not quite correct, is it? She won't. She won't learn how to kill.
And that sucks. Because Winry isn't used to feeling like that, so lost and insecure, at least not constantly. Yeah, when Ed and Al are away, she worries, and that's part of the reason why she tried to join in, but that is nothing compared to the powerlessness she's facing now. Maybe she would worry less if she could be there when they fight, if she could protect them like Riza does with Mustang… but that's just not who she is.
Her job isn't to protect Ed and Al - her job is to give people arms and legs and good costumer service. I really like that scene/episode (23, me thinks) where she gets a phone call from Rush Valley and all these people ask for her to come back. Because Yes, Ed telling her thanks for helping him is VERY important for her character… and yet I think this phone call is the moment Winry realizes that she's not Riza. That she won't take a gun into her hands and kill for Ed and Al.
She will never be Armstrong or Hawkeye or even Izumi… she will be Winry Rockbell, automail engineer and genius.
And that's the reason why only she could have pulled Scar on their side. Because she chose healing over killing - her telling Scar in Baschool that she'd save his life because her parents would want her to honor their choice? That was Winry following the deeper themes of the show, by adding positive energy to the flow of the universe.
Riza saving Scar? Wouldn't have worked (why would he listen to the woman with a gun in her hands?). Armstrong helping Scar? Wouldn't have happened (what reason would General Armstrong have at this point to spare a murderer?). Mei saving Scar? Would have ended with the Ed/Marcoh/Scar/Al alliance falling apart (it is so much easier to fall apart if no one has been forced to see past the horror yet).
And it's not because these characters were even a touch less well written than Winry - if anything it showcases how unique all of the female characters in FMA were/are.
In this we find Riza again - because Riza chose differently than Winry. She followed Roy into the military, she learned and perfected how to shoot and kill. Their narratives mirror each other - Ed carefully prying a gun out of Winry's hands so she doesn't kill, only to give Riza a bloody gun a few episodes later, knowing she will clean it and use it to kill.
When Riza tells us that she has lost the right to feel squeamish about killing because of often she'd pulled the trigger, she is Winry's foil - Winry who was stopped before she could make a similar choice.
And it's not just that, is it?
Riza let her hair grow because a young Winry Rockbell had long hair and seemed to like it - and Riza needed a change after coming back from Ishval.
Winry got her ears pierced because the strong Lieutenant visiting them had looked cool (and because she needed a place for all of Ed's little gifts) - and Winry needed something steadfast, now that her friends were growing up.
There's just something about the two of them, so similar, so loyal and stubborn and full of love, that fascinates me. Because at every turn they make a different choice, at each turn one walks deeper into hell and the other chooses healing - and yet, while they couldn't be more different, they also couldn't be any closer.
I can't imagine how glad Riza was, when she realized Winry hadn't followed Ed and Al into the military.
I can only guess how happy Winry was, when she saw Riza follow Mustang further if only to make sure the future actually changed.
A mirror doesn't have to be a perfect thing, and if anything I think that is on purpose.

when they’re your best friend but secretly in love with you. || jujutsu kaisen
short, fluff, no proofread, tried best to stay in character. • masterlist. • just came into my mind, hope you like it! enjoy.
Tumblr media
will buy you lots of things from flowers to necklaces, rings to treats, cute toys to dresses all the time. just love spending money on you because the smile on your face, kisses and hugs you give are enough to make them spend their money on you. nothing is precious than you. will kiss you like they do it accidentally but they blush anyway when you kiss them in return - chuckling. will want to be beside you all the time - day and night because you’re their source of air, energy, comfort - safe zone. will cling you while watching a movie - will choose horror movies purposefully in order to hug you or even sleep on your chest at the end of the movies. will get excited every time you get closer to them intentionally or unintentionally - blushing, shuttering, losing their own reality and focusing on you only. will try to be the only one in your life, getting a bit annoyed when others trying to flirt with you and can literally write an essay about how he can treat you better - can be a boyfriend/girlfriend material for you than others which will probably conclude by asking them whether they are in love with you or not. after a few moment in oblivion, they will understand what you are asking, getting fluffy, will say yes lots of times until you kiss them to shut them and chuckle. also, will try to show off their skills in front of you, asking how well they deal with the situations, being proud whenever you praise them.
yuji, satoru, nobara, choso, mei mei
will be mess around you, especially when you both are alone and no one else is around you because they can’t calm down enough to think straight beside you. probably will smile more, chuckle more, and even feel more talkative around you since you give them good vibes. will teach you the things you need to learn - want to learn with great attention and focus. will get blushing when they see how you are amazed by their skills, saying how it means nothing - literally humble even though they are so strong. will try to help you even if you don’t ask for it because they love taking some of your concerns from your shoulders, being there for you all the time even when their hands covered in blood. will confess their love to you all of sudden - even can be at a moment of highness, after a great mission maybe, just saying aloud their love and when you ask them directly, will get nervous and ask, “what? no. no?” but eventually will tell you - not so directly but enough to make you realize they love you. will smile childishly when you say you love them back.
suguru, megumi, yuta, nanami, toge
will act so cool around you like they even don’t know you are exist but they do - oh, they really do and you have all of their attention whenever you are in the same place with them. however, will act calm down when you get closer to them, making your presence known and smiling widely - such a brat but pretty, cute, beautiful, attractive, nearly perfect brat they love. will make you beg for them to help you since you are looking so cute while doing so. will not get excited so easily but oh, when they do, they will make sure you feel excited more than them at that moment. will not stop themselves to getting closer to you because what you can do when they get right behind, top, down on you? - nothing. no, you like it too and will reveal this fact like it’s a simple fact. will kiss you back - deeper each time, not realizing you being weak with their touches. will let you be the first one who confess love, then, will think about it for a while, teasing you and finally, will accept that they love you back but will not tell it aloud, no, will use their body language to make you realize that. will let you tease them in return though because you are their brat, no one’s else.

daddy's home (2) - izuku x reader
cw: MINORS DNI, noncon/dubcon, horror themes, you and izuku have a child, parental dynamics, manipulation, villain!deku, yandere!deku, violence, fem!reader summary: izuku tries to make amends with his family after his absence. (~3.4k words) a/n: reposted. part 1 here.
As you continue to hear his footsteps approach, the dreadful sound amplified by genuine fear of your partner, you think wistfully of the past.
Clearly, it hadn’t always been like this. Izuku, at his core, was someone sweet - bashful, kind, protective… not whatever monster was marching through your home this very second, causing your mind to race as you thought frantically of ways to protect your daughter. That was your first priority.
But he wouldn’t hurt his daughter, right? That’s where he would draw the line, no matter how altered his thoughts concerning allies versus enemies had become over time. And even if now you had drawn a clear line in the sand, you’d like to think that he wouldn’t hurt you - he hadn’t ever threatened to hurt you, now had he? He’d only given you warnings, reminding you that turning against him wouldn’t be in your best interest. After all, according to him, he’s the only one who really cares for your well-being. That’s why he married you, right?
“I... I think all of this is excessive,” you mumble to Mei as she demonstrates the security upgrades to your home. Iida shakes his head almost furiously, and seems to double and triple-check his wife’s work and potential blind spots, peering at new cameras shoved in the corners where the ceilings meet and laser tripwires invisible to the naked eye. There’s a panic device in the hallway between the kitchen and one of the living rooms hidden behind a wedding picture where both of your smiles are radiant enough to be blinding. The fact that it’s come to this makes your stomach turn.
“In all honesty, there’s a good chance it might not be enough,” Mei admits, and the fact that for once she realistically communicates her own engineering limitations underlines how grave the situation is. If even she is admitting that she’s not infallible, that means your situation is bad.
What is he, God? You think bitterly, but resign yourself to saying nothing. You are not too distraught to accept kindness from your friends.
Bakugou, for example, now texts you every morning, a simple two words.
You good?
While you understand and appreciate where he’s coming from, every time you see those words, you can feel yourself losing your patience. If you could have your husband back, you’d be great. Fantastic even! You’d always texted back the same thing, in different variations -
Yeah, thanks for checking!
He never responded after that. It wasn’t that he didn’t care; it’s that he still did not want to entertain the idea that his friend had gone off the deep end for too long.
It’s hard for everyone, not just your family, you have to remember.
You can hear Izuku’s steps almost right outside your door, the pace almost synchronous with the pounding in your heart. There’s no use in hiding anymore. Steeling your resolve, you hold your slumbering daughter close for a moment, and kiss her forehead.
“Mommy loves you,” you whisper. She doesn’t stir, and you wonder what it is to be a child again, safe and naive and uncorrupted by circumstance.
And then you tumble out of the room to face him.
He stands at the end of the hall facing you; you stand, fists balled tightly by your sides and your expression unnecessarily fierce - it’s thought that fear and anger often are mistaken for each other, and Izuku seems to think so today as well.
He tilts his head slightly, and his voice is slightly raspy, deeper than usual, as he calls out to you. There’s a strained quality to it, as though his voice has been unused for a while, even though the two of you did technically just speak, or maybe he’s forgotten how to speak to you softly, how to speak to anyone with kindness.
But he tries.
“Are you mad at me, love?”
There’s a little bit of electricity in the air that you can feel in the strands of your hair that you know emanates from him. Energy that he hasn’t kept inside now that he has no reason to show any restraint. His eyes aren’t glowing however; if anything, they’re devoid of any light, dull like a lifeless forest in the dead of night. You wonder if, haggard as he appears now even if he is always and forever handsome, has come out of the wilderness. Where does he stay when he’s not here? Where is he physically when mentally he is lost?
You can’t get words out of your throat no matter how hard you try to answer him. He breathes from his nose, a sigh, and in the blink of an eye, he’s crossed the distance between you two, and has you pressed up against the wall. Caged in, his hands pressed on either side to make it clear that you have no escape, your faces are millimeters apart. This is not the man you love who values your space and your autonomy and the idea of you, above all, freely offering yourself to him.
This is not your Izuku.
Nevertheless, not-Izuku kisses you roughly and bites your lip sharply as his mouth disconnects from yours. It’s painful and bruising and you think you taste blood, but the salt on your tongue probably comes from the tears that fall from your eyes as you tremble.
When you look at him through a moisture-blurred view, for a moment it seems as though his eyes shine too.
Maybe, maybe for a moment. You blink, and they’re dull again.
“Izuku, please don’t hurt her,” is the first thing that falls from your lips.
His facial expression turns wicked for a moment and then he laughs and it is not his laugh. It’s something tinny and sick and wrong coming from him. He kisses you again, bites even harder this time, enough that you wince, and this time you are sure your lip is bleeding.
“Hurt? Why would I hurt my princess? How could you even ask something so silly?”
Izuku presses his forehead against yours, and his cool breath runs over your wet cheeks. His hands grip your wrists and raise them up above your head, pressing the back of your hands to the wall.
“Why would I hurt her or you when you’re so vulnerable and need to be cared for?” The way he stresses that adjective - vulnerable - turns your stomach and your whole body tenses, which he notices, tightening his grip on your wrists.
“See, love, that’s why I had to come back. I said I would come back, didn’t I? To think I’d leave the two of you alone in such a twisted, unsafe world… what kind of man would I be if I behaved like this?”
You swallow hard, unable to look at him as you search for other points to focus on. He notices.
“Don’t you dare look away from me,” he hisses. Your eyes snap obediently away from everywhere else in the room and focus on him. There’s nothing behind his eyes. You want to scream into the endless void you stare into. What happened to him? What happened to your Deku?
“W-what do you want?”
Izuku’s eyebrows furrow, and for a moment, he looks genuinely confused, like a kid faced with a particularly difficult arithmetic problem. You stun him enough with your words that he lets go of your wrists for a moment and steps back, rubbing his chin.
It wasn’t meant to be said harshly - maybe it was your grief that hardened your voice, but he seems to retreat to somewhere deep in his chest, before shaking his head.
He smiles again, that unnatural grin that doesn’t reach his eyes.
“I thought I was coming home. Do I need permission to see my family?” he asks in a honeyed voice.
He leans in further, pressing a scarred, calloused hand to your cheek and stroking gently. Once upon a time, you would have leaned into his palm and kissed it, maybe even pulled him closer by the collar of his shirt so that you could kiss him.
But all you can do is freeze, and let it pass.
And he gets impatient. His fingers now pinch instead of caressing; it would be cute, and it was once cute, when he pulled your cheeks like this to steal a kiss, but now the downturn of his lips show that he is trying very hard not to accept the truth that you are rejecting him, or at least the ‘him’ that you see before you now.
His voice flattens.
“You really thought you’d keep me out with those silly trinkets?” he growls. The other shoe has dropped.
“Who made them?” he asks. “Who did you ask to help you keep me out of my own home?”
Izuku’s hands move quickly, now cupping your chin in his hands and pulling you to him roughly as he stands, so that you’re nearly lifted up off your feet. It’s an action that’s lacking any tenderness as though he’ll yank your head clearly off your shoulders.
“Honey? That’s a direct question, not rhetorical,” he repeats.
You don’t utter a single word, and by now he’s beyond frustrated. He lets go of your face and you lose your balance ever so slightly, but before you fall he grabs your wrist again. You pull away reflexively and a flash of anger rises in him, and he pulls even harder, enough that you can feel the tingle of his Quirk intensify.
“Clearly, we seem to be having trouble with intimacy, so I guess we’ll have to address that first before I ask you to communicate basic information with me.” The edge to his voice is palpable but the pain of the pressure he’s putting on your arm is almost worse and you try so hard not to cry out at the sensation of him nearly crushing your bones, knowing very well that this is the least of his rough handling of you for now but then -
“Daddy?”
Your heart stops. Izuku lets go immediately, and you turn around with a gasp to see your little girl, a flurry of nightclothes and curly green hair, leap into his arms without the slightest bit of hesitation.
No, no, no, how… of all the times to wake up! You ignore the dead feeling in your arm to run into him and shove him as he holds your daughter and twirls her around, but he barely feels you, and you practically bounce off of him like rubber on glue.
She barely even notices you fall flat on your ass. Rather, she lets her father give her the affection she’s been missing for months, and you can only watch in abject horror as Izuku throws her up and down in the air a couple times, then asks her if she’s been good.
“Daddy, where’d you go?” She finally asks, once she’s stopped giggling. Her cheeks are rosy and excited and her eyes are bright enough to fill his darkened ones - you clutch your bruised arm and can only watch.
Izuku glances at you then blows a raspberry in his daughter’s neck which has her giggling again.
“Mommy gave me a timeout!” he says cheerfully, holding her close. She nuzzles herself into the security of his chest, and holds tightly.
“Time out?” she murmurs. She clutches at his shirt possessively, and Izuku gives you a look. Your stare becomes hardened - it’s a plea but it’s also a threat that he better not try a single funny thing with her because then fear will give way to desperation and he will have to be prepared to kill you instantly and-
He laughs - it’s less tinny than before, but still it sucks warmth out of the room, unbeknownst to your daughter. “Yeah when you’re bad you get time out!” he reminds her, poking her belly. She laughs again and presses her hands on his cheeks squishing them.
“You can’t be bad!” she exclaims.
Izuku glances at you again, his chuckle drier and his eyes more narrow as he adjusts his baby girl in his arms.
“Well, your mommy seems to think so,” he replies, quieter this time. Somehow, she picks up the serious turn to his voice.
Your baby girl looks at you too, disheveled on the ground and breathing a bit heavier than usual, looking wrong, like a feral creature, the sudden reversal of positions being apparent in such a short time.
She looks into your soul for a moment and furrows her eyebrows. She is thinking - assessing the situation. Her father who she hasn’t seen in quite a while is holding her tightly, her mother sits in a heap and does nothing. It is always too dark in this house these days. She can’t see clearly, not this, not anything.
“That’s not right, Mommy,” she says, finally.
Your heart pounds. You want to charge at him,  knowing full well all you will do is traumatize your daughter at best and get yourself killed at worst. You swallow your saliva as your throat is hot and dry.
Izuku grins at you, then pats her hair gently. He sets her down and kneels to her eye level.
“Can you be a good girl for me, sweetie?” he asks.
She nods enthusiastically, clutching fistfuls of her dress to contain her excitement at having her dad home. The longer you watch her beam the more you feel like you want to puke up your insides. What do you do? What do you do?
“Go to your room and I’ll tuck you in in a little bit, okay?”
She nods and runs off immediately, back to the center of the home where you’re not sure how much of the structure still stands appropriately, but Izuku wouldn’t send her where it’s not safe - that’s his little girl after all - and the two of you watch as her small figure disappears.
The moment she’s out of sight, you finally spit up the vitriol that’s been bubbling inside you since that horrible display.
“Fuck you.”
You’re shaking, you are so upset. The thought that he can just barge in here, and put you in an awful situation, making you look like a bad person no matter what you do.
Izuku’s dusky eyes narrow, and in seconds he’s dragging you to your feet and pulling you into the nearest bedroom.
“Gladly.”
It doesn’t matter how hard you kick and scream and protest. Eventually, Izuku gets tired, and throws you over his shoulder, clapping a hand over your mouth. You bite his palm and he barely reacts and instead of biting harder, you break out into muffled sobs. You don’t want to hurt him, it occurs to you. You don’t have the resolve to truly take purchase into his flesh and tear away like a beast.
He throws you onto the bed and locks the door as you bury your face into the bedsheets, continuing to muffle your tears. You’re not crying because you hate him, it’s because you love him still and the situation is so awful and confusing that it’s clear that there’s no way out. You scream and terrify your daughter, and Izuku will make you the problem. If she, by some magic, understands what’s going on, is it worth it for her to develop that same darkness behind your Izuku’s eyes right now?
Izuku snorts derisively as he watches you come undone in your own mind, as the reality sets in that there is truly no way out of this situation. You sob, and you sob and you sob, and he lets you, watching you with neutrality that is so atypical of him. You’re not the first person he’s seen cry, and even if you are the most important person to him, he’s had enough of your tears. Any tears, in fact.
He sits at the edge of the bed until your sniffles die out, then finally runs out of patience.
“Stop it.”
You rise slowly to watch him stare at you, his own eyes red-rimmed. It’s the most emotion you’ve seen out of him since today, but you can’t understand what he’s feeling. You can barely understand your own right now.
You sniffle and he sneers.
“Stop it right now,” he repeats, harshly this time. His lips crash into yours again and he pushes you so that you lay on your back. He tears at your clothes and your defenses, and soon you are kissing back, miserable and pathetic a creature as you are.
He whispers something about loving you and never letting you go, and you don’t have the strength to whisper back but you know it’s true. Your body misses him, misses the heat of his skin against yours and the scrape of his tongue across your nipples. It misses his fingers that tease you apart and make you fall apart, the sensation of being full of love for him and physically stretched and strained to accommodate him. It misses his teeth marking you, palms sliding across every surface.
“It h-hurts, Izuku,” you moan, sucking at his shoulder to distract from the corrupted pleasure. He groans into you as he continues to dig, deeper still when your nails dig into his back, deeper still when your legs tighten around his waist. “It h-hurts,” you murmur into his neck.
“You’ll endure for me, won’t you baby?”
He doesn’t stop; maybe he slows, but he doesn’t stop.
The truth is you will. It’s not the only thing you’ll endure for him, you think as your head swims in desire.
“You feel better than I remember,”  he groans into your ear. “Perfectly tight, like you’ve been waiting for me this entire time to reclaim you, haven’t you?”
You sigh deeply and your back arches as you climax. It’s the only answer he needs.
“You’re mine forever, no matter what, aren’t you?” he says.
Till death do we part, you think, and you crash into full, reckless indulgence. Your husband lets out a cry; his hips stutter to a stop and he pumps you full, over and over again, and before you can catch your breath, he begins again. Faster this time.
“I love you. I will love you to pieces,” he whispers into your ear, and for the first time that day, looks at you with his own eyes, the look you remember. Your eyes well up. You’ve missed him terribly.
Your arms wrap around his neck.
“I love you, too.”
There’s catching up to do.
Bakugou has not heard from you all morning, and while he tries not to think about it, he can’t help but think about it.
It’s only been a couple hours - he sent the message somewhere around 8 am, knowing that you’re usually up by this time. However, it’s almost 11 am and you should at least be up to take your daughter to school and yet you’ve neglected to respond.
Not even a read receipt.
Oi, just let me know you’ve seen this message, okay? He texts finally, before shoving his phone back into his pocket. There’s quite a few other things he needs to be worrying about today, including tracking members of the second iteration of the League of Villains and figuring out what exactly happened to his friend. You are fine. You have to be, he thinks.
His phone buzzes.
Instead of a message, it’s a video according to the banner. Bakugou hesitates, and there’s a tiny bit of dread as he opens it.
And his eyes widen in horror.
You are wrapped up in white sheets, body facing away from the camera, but he can tell from the transparency that you’re most likely wearing nothing else. By the steady rise and fall of your chest, he can tell you’re still alive, albeit fast asleep. The camera shakes ever so slightly.
From the audio, which he turns up he can hear a voice, Izuku’s voice.
“She’s just fine, don’t worry about us.”
The video ends and Bakugou can feel his blood run cold as his mind begins to race. Before he can play the video again to look for clues, there’s a text message that pops up.
If you text my wife again, I’ll dash your brains on the concrete.
Have a lovely day.

Yeah, I know I said I'd keep quiet about it because I plan on ignoring the ending. I've done it plenty of times, even with books I consider my favorites. "Oh this book is so good, it's one of my faves... How does it end? I don't remember." I'm going to do that with jjk because I've done it more times. Anyways.
Seriously, where's the character development? Why dedicate an entire chapter to showing how much criticism affects you and making excuses for your narrative instead of fixing it? Gege could have written about the characters and their problems, their worries, their evolution even while talking about how the politics of jujutsu world are changing rn.
What are Nobara's thoughts right now? There could have been an entire chapter dedicated to her character to fill in the gaps and finish defining her, what about her mother? How does she feel about her childhood friends? What are her plans now?
What about Megumi? Yeah, seeing him laugh was therapeutic, but honestly his character hasn't had the development/ending I expected. The timeskip was weird, his acting is literally the same as the beginning of the manga. It feels like I'm reading the same person who appeared in chapter one and not a traumatized boy who is learning to live. Where is Itadori teaching him that it's actually worth moving on? Where's the whole PTSD thing I'm sure he has? (fuck megumi haters btw fuck them, and fuck the way they victim blamed a kid). What are his thoughts about Gojo? About Sukuna?
Yuuji... Our mc. I was expecting to see him mourning Choso, mourning Gojo. But no, apparently it's more important to explain that there was a secret society (lmao) than to have him show respect and tears for those people he loved. His family, who he never got to spend time with, and his sensei, who decided not to execute him and who taught him almost everything he knows. I wanted to see him taking his friends to the movies to see some B-movie horror instead of going through the horror of watching characters insult him and tell him that it's better if he were dead.
And yes, I know there are two chapters left and some of the things I mention here might appear, but we've already wasted our time with one chapter, that's many pages. There won't be time to fix whatever is this. I feel bad :/
Now, one of the things that bothers me the most is that there are characters that were implied to be dead and now suddenly appear alive. I thought this was about letting the new generations create a fair world, but no. Do you know which character bothers me the most? Mei Mei. No, I'm not against someone writing sa/csa in fiction as long as it's not romanticized (I accept the unreliable narrator because that happens a lot irl and it's sad). The thing is that Mei Mei literally embodies the values of the jujutsu world. In the jujutsu clans there was everything, sexism, abuse, neglect and most likely incest since (at least that's how I see it) they are like the monarchies of the Middle Ages. Mei Mei is the embodiment of all those rotten values that Gojo hated, that the new generations are destined to eradicate. Seriously. What is she doing alive? Take her out rn. Gojo didn't die for this.
I read someone saying that maybe the point of this chapter isn't to break the cycle, but to repeat it. I have to say that I'm a big fan of that trope! It reminds me that humans repeat the same mistakes, but even if that were the point I think it wouldn't be well written.
There came a point in the story where both options: love is worthless and love is worth it were acceptable by the end of the manga. This is the ending where love is worth it, but why hasn't anything changed? The characters we saw in 269 are almost exactly the same we saw in chapter number one.
If this is a story about how love is worth it, accept the consequences and write characters who, thanks to love, move forward and build a new world instead of neutralizing any kind of development

Hello hello my lovely Mei!! How’s it going? I am a bit scared to go into my kitchen because I saw a long bug that was really fast and it disappeared somewhere behind a cabinet :/ I’ve come to you for some comfort maybe a little something about this with Bradley or Jake? I hope you’re doing well <33
Bradley's sleeping. The whole reason you're in the kitchen in the first place is because you want to make him breakfast in bed, so waking him seems counterintuitive. But something long and squirmy and crawly just slipped behind one of your cabinets, the one you'd wanted to reach into, and there's no way you're making pancakes with an extra houseguest.
"Brad," You push at his shoulder gently, marveling the way he's face-down in the pillow and somehow still breathing, "Bradley!"
"Mmf?" Comes his rather unsavory reply, muffled as he groans it straight into the pillow.
"There's a bug," You hiss, "In the kitchen. A big one, and I'm scared."
"Okay." He pushes his palms flat against the mattress to lift himself off of it, and you adore the way he muscles through his sleepy state to help you. He barrels down the hallway towards the kitchen with far less coordination than he'd have if he was fully awake, but it doesn't seem to bother him; he's tired, so he'll go after the bug tired, because you need him to. He's not going to make you wait and worry while he scrolls through his phone, and he's not going to get coffee first to wake him up. You need his bug-catching services, sleepiness be damned.
"Where?" He grunts, eyes still struggling to stay open. You point warily at the cabinet it had escaped behind without crossing the threshold into the kitchen itself, merely poised at the doorway watching.
"Got it," He grumbles, taking a spatula from a jar on the counter.
"Oh- Bradley, no!"
"Hm?" He turns to look back at you, spatula in hand, "What, babe?"
"That's for the food," You fret, "The bug's dirty. And- and so is behind the cabinet."
"Okay." He agrees thoughtlessly once more, taking orders like you're his commanding officer, "Can you get me a hanger?"
You retrieve a metal one, so that it can be bent and warped to however he wants to fish the bug out. But his brain isn't functioning that intensively yet, and he merely swipes it behind the cabinet. To his credit, he pushes it out and away from you, but all he does is displace the creature, not capture it.
You let out a mangled sound, something between a gasp and a cry. The bug scuttles away from you at first, but then to your horror, rounds on you, like it knows you're the one who snitched on it.
"Ew- I- Bradley!" You gush, already backing away from the doorway that it's charging. He's finally more awake now, and though you'd have liked to merely set the thing outside, you're not upset when Bradley crunches it with the bottom of his slipper.
He breathes a heavy sigh of relief when it's trapped beneath his foot, and you try to calm your racing heart.
"You okay, honey?" He asks, and you nod disjointedly.
"That was scary," You note, and he hums in agreement.
"He's gone now. I'll clean him up." He grimaces slightly at the mess under his shoe, "Can I have some wipes?"
Bradley doesn't make you move the bug's corpse, just scoops it up into a bleach wipe and scrubs down the floor. You watch with a perpetually nervous expression, even though the threat has been neutralized.
"All gone." Bradley reports, the bleach wipes falling sadly into the garbage can. You nod, gratefully accepting the embrace that he tugs you into, leaning into the kiss that he smushes against your forehead.
"Why were you up so early?" He asks, some of that sleepy fog still thickening his voice.
"I wanted to make you breakfast in bed," You admit, and you feel him chuckle against you.
"Should I go get back in bed?" He asks.
"I think I want you to stay," You fret, holding the end of his too-long sleeve, "But I won't make you cook. You just have to be on bug patrol."
"Bug patrol," He echoes curiously, testing the title on his tongue. He seems to approve, leaning in with a smug smile on his face to peck at your lips, "That's me, honey."

oh my god, platonic brother Gojo is delicious, what is Toji’s reaction to reader being taken from him???
Obv he is maaaadddd. I mean its clear Gojo took u, the bodies of his clan members are all proof.
Toji will find you, way sooner than Gojo could because he's an excellent bounty hunter and he's gonna be using all contacts and resources to find your whereabouts. And maybe a week later, he finds you but he doesn't attack right then. No, no. He waits, bides his time to strike at the right opportunity.
Meanwhile, you're having the worst time of your life because you just overheard Gojo discussing with Mei Mei about a spell/talisman to terminate your pregnancy, which as much as you hate Toji now, the baby was a product of consensual love (or so u thought. You didn't know Naoya and the clan had used a spell to remove your IUD), and you wanted to have this baby. You confronted your brother about this, thinking that he must have the notion that you want an abortion, but Saturo simply smiled and patted your cheek patronisingly, telling you not to worry your head about this because you don't know what's better for you (which isn't your fault. You've been brainwashed by Toji) and your brother is here to take care of all your problems now.
You found this incredibly insulting and told Gojo off, but he simply grabbed you and began dragging you towards a room where he was going to use the spell to "rid of the monster in you", and youvjust began struggling against him, wailing and crying for help.
That's when Toji strikes, using his cursed weapons to pull Gojo away from you, but of course Gojo has his infinity on, not only on himself, but on you too.
"Let. Her. Go." Toji grunts, whipping those iron chains out.
"I'm glad you came. I can finally kill you." Gojo smiled before pushing you into a room and locking the doors, while you banged against it.
The two men fought, with Gojo clearly having the upper hand and he was getting close to winning when suddenly- he felt a major drop in your cursed energy, followed by a blood curdling scream.
Knocking Toji out, Gojo teleported into the room he had locked you in, and to his horror-
You were in labour.
All the stress had caused you to go into labour prematurely, and you were screaming as you began pushing the baby. Gojo scrambled towards you, eyes widening as he tried to figure out how to help you. You tried to push him away, yelling him to get away from you, but then you started screaming again, your face scrunching up and Gojo immediately knew you needed assistance right now or you would die.
"I'm taking you to Shoko! Stay still-" but you shook your head when he put his hands under your knees to pick you up. "I- I cant move! Get Shoko here! NOW!" You yelled, and Gojo was forced to listen as he saw the blood on his hands. He teleported out of the room, going directly to the infirmary to drag Shoko out and back to you.
A few minutes later and Shoko told that she needed to cut you open now to get the fetus out or you would both die. Gojo couldn't give two shits about the baby, he just wanted you to be safe and so, like a DIY project, Shoko told you to take a deep breath as she began cutting you open, all while Gojo held you down.
It was like a scene from a gorey movie: blood everywhere, your screams echoing the room, while two people who have clearly no experience in gynaecology pulled your baby out.
"Its a-" Shoko was cut off by Gojo. "Dont care! Help Y/n! She's bleeding out! Drop the fucking child!"
Shoko placed the baby to the side and began using her cursed energy to heal you, but by this time you had already lost too much blood and went into shock.
Shoko instantly took you to the infirmary while Gojo remained behind, holding your baby in his hands. Shaking his head, he brought it along with hin to the infirmary, handing it to a nurse.
He can worry about killing child later. For now, he needs to focus on you.
-
Days went by and you finally woke up, waves of pain hitting you from all directions. Just then, Shoko walked in, smiling as she asked how you were feeling.
"We almost lost you there. Who knows what gojo would've done if I couldn't stitch you up in time, hm?" She joked, neither of you laughing as you both knew the horrific truth behind those words.
"Sho- shoko, where's my baby?"
When she didn't reply, you repeated your question, this time begging her to tell you.
She looked towards your window, a grim look on her face.
"Saturo is in the garden. He took the baby from the nursery this morning-" you didn't need to be told twice as you began pushing yourself off the bed, your body screaming in pain as you staggered towards the garden, not caring about your stitches opening.
That's when your spotted Gojo, holding your baby over the edge of the mountain, ready to drop-
"SATURO, DONT!" You begged, stumbling towards him.
He turned towards, tutting at the bood stain from your abdomen. "Y/n, you should be resting. Now Shoko will have to redo your stitches." He chided, as if he wasn't just about to kill your baby.
"Saturo, please. He's my baby, let him go-"
"No." But you clung on to his arms.
"Please, I will do anything! I'll do whatever you say, Saturo. You want me by your side? I'll stay. You want me to stay in my room? I won't take a step outside! Whatever you say, I'll do it! I'll be good, Saturo, please! Just spare his life!" You cried and he patted your head, before gently lifting your head.
"Aww, its okay. You'll obey what I say either way! It's cute how you thought you had a choice, though!" He said before throwing your baby over the edge, holding you back from following it.
You screamed in horror as Gojo began dragging you back before eventually picking you up and taking you back to the infirmary.
"I know it seems like I'm the bad guy here, but in time, you'll understand that this was for the best" Gojo said as you began hurling insults and curses at him until Shoko finally sedated you and took you back in for surgery.
"Oh and Shoko?" She turned towards him, only to find him grinning manically. "Dont ever try to interfere in my family matters again." The "or else..." didn't need to be said. The threat was clear.
Tumblr media
At the bottom of the mountain, your infant cried softly in his arms.
Toji Fushiguro may have caught his baby, but he didn't know how to comfort his newborn son when all of his focus was on freeing you from Gojo.
He swayed the baby gently.
"Shh, I know you want your mama, but you'll have to wait. Don't worry though, I'm gonna bring mama back soon, okay?"

Peach Noodles
I don't usually use stock tracers but I wasn't gonna try at 3:45 in the morning
Ty @soniclozdplove; this gives me the perfect opportunity to introduce the public to the Au we have been busting out in Messages (i sound like Im doing a commercial).
we present to you;
Peach Soup
On one rainy night; a monkey demon in torn clothing clutching a crying bundle wanders into the path of a delivery truck. The driver slams the brakes and gets out to yell at what he thinks is a jaywalker.
Pigsy instead finds a scared, hurt, possibly teenage, monkey demon protectively holding a baby to his tiny form. Both muddy and wet with rain. The pig demon's morals win out, driving the two young demons to his restaurant for shelter and a warm meal, hoping to get some information out of the older one.
But the older, red-eyed, ginger-furred monkey doesn't seem to know... well *anything*. No name, no approximate age, barely any human language, not even an explanation why he's covered in bleeding cuts and grisly scars - all he seems to know is that he's hurt and that he needs to protect the cub.
Pigsy calls up Tang for advice. He seriously suspects the pair were victims of some kind of demon trafficking, like he's heard horror stories about in the newspaper. The fact that one is clearly a newborn convinces him of this theory further. Tang advises to keep the pair there while he rushes over in person.
The older monkey has concerning habits too. He's too afraid of the steaming noodle broth to take a sip, so Pigsy improvises by grabbing some fruits from the fridge. The monkey cautiously sniffs the bowl of fruit, his pupils widening at the scent.
Within a minute, the monkey had eaten three peaches whole. Pigsy laughed, cautioning the boy to slow down and to not eat the pits.
Pigsy: "You really seem to love peaches, huh?" Unknown Monkey: (*nods happily*) Pigsy: "Since you can't recall a name... how about I call you Peaches for now?" "Peaches": (*thinks for a moment before nodding excitedly*) Pigsy, fond smile: "Ok then. Peaches it is!" Peaches, smile full of fruit: :D! Pigsy: "Now we need a name for the little guy..." (*both look at the baby monkey demon curled up against Peaches chest, sleeping soundly*) Peaches: "M'kay."
Within a few days and an investigation by the Metropolis Police Department in case it really was a case of trafficking or severe abuse, the two monkeys are given legal identities and now require a foster home that won't separate the pair (there has been an attempt to remove the newborn, but both had become inconsolable). Pigsy and Tang team up and step forward to take the responsibility for the two lost demons that had wandered into their lives.
Peaches is an odd kid (or maybe a young adult, it was hard for the doctors to gauge); very strong for his size, and has a few muscle tics that crop up time to time. He often flicks his arms towards his ears when he's startled or upset. He clutches his head when he's in any form of pain - a habit his adoptive parents put down to whatever caused the nasty-looking crown-like scar around his hairline.
He's also extremely protective of the baby monkey adopted as his little brother. MK, nicknamed due to confusion in processing his adoption papers, grows from a baby to a teenager in the typical amount of time, whilst Peaches barely grows at all. The two are inseparable, with MK loudly worshipping his big brother as the strongest, smartest brother in the whole wide world! Peaches even gains a fan with MK's school yard friend Mei.
Tang and Pigsy nearly had heart attacks the first time Peaches accidentally broke a fridge, or shattered a glass in his hand, or put a hole through the wall with his fist. Seeking out a way to teach their son how to manage his inner strength, an old friend was contacted for help. Sandy was surprised to be contacted after so long, but the sight of Pigsy and Tang's nervous, extremely strong son, made sense. The boy was afraid to hold any creature for fear of hurting them, even extending to his own baby brother. Sandy made sure to help the monkey demon measure and control his strength with lessons in martial arts and meditation. The boy also became a delightful companion for teatime, becoming fascinated in the properties of the different blends.
Peaches also has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. The second he grasped reading and writing, he wanted to know more. More about the world and the things in it. And he'd later gain a fixation for plants and medicine, on the track to becoming a doctor or a pharmacist if he so chose to.
But for now he's earning his keep (jokingly says Pigsy, he'd never kick out his eldest son) as a busboy and delivery driver for Pigsy's Noodles alongside his baby brother MK.
At least until he was called to deliver to a construction site deep into the city, and instead of a customer he found Princess Iron Fan, Red Son, and the legendary Ruyi Jingu Bang. Peaches was never a fairytale buff, but Papa Tang had read him and MK seemingly every book under the sun about this side of mythology - and if he weren't mistaken, there was a very good reason that the Staff was wedged into that mountain.
So without thinking he grabs if from Red Son's mechanical arm, his brain only catching up afterwards that he shouldn't be able to.
DBK: "SUN WUKONG!" Peaches: "Uh, no!? I'm just Peaches!"
The ginger monkey runs from the site, all three members of the Demon Bull family hot on his tail, but not just out for vengeance, but for concern. Why did he not remember them?
Peaches runs home, certain that Papa Tang knew what was going on, and why he was able to lift the Monkey King's Staff.
When the family makes it to Flower Fruit Mountain in search for the real Monkey King and to get some answers, they discover something horrifying.
Peaches is the Monkey King.
So how come he doesn't remember being him?
Tune in as the mystery unfolds >:3

Lmk ss edits + headcanons, Part 6 (Azure Lion, Peng, Yellowtusk)
(I originally made my own design of Azure and Yellowtusk but wasn't quite happy with how they turned out so I scrapped them, the designs for those two I used in these edits were made by @/erraday_ on twt, with a few minor changes, but Peng's design is my own :) )
Tumblr media
- He/Him
- Pansexual
- Snores so loud, it's insane, Yellowtusk once thought there was an earthquake
- Feels bad whenever he's steps on a ladybug, butterfly etc
- Gives everyone and everything giant bear hugs because he thinks if Yellowtusk can take it, so can everyone else (They cannot)
- Mei once gave him catnip as a joke and he went fucking feral, he's not allowed near catnip anymore
- His hair/fur is actually very soft and curly
- Thought he saw an old friend while out in public and hugged them, it was a stranger
- Wakes up Yellowtusk in the middle of the night to ask stupid questions
- The Brotherhood asked to hear his roar but he got really nervous last second and it ended up being really meek, they never let him forget it
- Coughed up a hairball once and Peng refuses to let him live it down
- Has eaten cat food before and would do it again
- Cannot do the splits and is too scared to try
- Gets really confused by modern slang, MK and Mei abuse the hell out of it because it's funny
- Whenever he's rough housing with people he accidentally hits a bit too hard
- Whenever he walks past anyone playing a game that involves a ball (football, basketball, netball, etc) he somehow always ends up getting hit in the head with it
- If he wasn't sealed away and got a chance to babysit Redson as a kid he wouldn't know what the fuck to do and would be really awkward cause he doesn't know how to interact with children, he'd be able to bond with Redson better when he becomes a teenager though
- No one gossips with him because he always ends up unintentionally outing someone about something
- Ate moldy food once by accident and freaked out, he was absolutely disgusted
- Hates horror movies but loves slashers
- Drinks mouthwash
- Smells like catnip (trust me guys)
- Love language is words of affirmation
- Has horrible bed head, his mane gets tangled really easily and he tosses around a lot at night so his mane takes hours to brush out
- Absolutely refuses to wear shoes, they hurt his feet (paws?)
- The type of person to cry over a movie about a dog getting lost and then finding its owner at the end
- Can somehow eat an entire goddamn buffet and not gain a single pound
- His face always scrunches up when he smiles
- Lost his balance on a hill and fell down like a tumbleweed once, Peng still brings it up
Tumblr media
- They/He (Canon, Peng uses They/Them in the show but is exclusively referred to w/ He/Him in the sets)
- Nonbinary (Canon)
- Starts squaking when he laughs too much
- If you throw a blanket over their head he'll immediately fall asleep
- "look behind you but don't make it obvious" Looks behind him in the most exaggerated, obvious way known to mankind
- Stole food from Wukong's private stash for several months when the Brotherhood was all still together, Wukong still doesn't know

I got some asks about aoinene before so i may as well get my view on them off my chest.
( warning: I have a negative bias toward this ship and despite trying to be brief and unbias, I very very likely failed.)
To me, Aoinene makes each other worse, not as people, but as characters.
It's the kind of ship that the more I look at it the more empty their friendship feels, and yes sure they have their problems, but I don't mind when a ship have issues (hakubo and sumire are such a cool dynamic, 10/10 for me and they are a million times more 'toxic' then aoinene will ever be), but the aoinene problem is that they feel like fanservice. There is no conflict. There is nothing. They become shadows of themselves.
Aoi isn't stuck in the "I am an exposition girl :D" role because she is oblivious to the bigger story, and all they need is communication, Nene put her there. Iis insane that they've known each other for 2 years but she don't know anything about Aoi. Every time we learn something interesting about Aoi, is when she is seen in other's people's pov, even characters that barely interact with her like Teru and Mei have a better understanding of Aoi than Nene.
Tumblr media
To Nene, Aoi is the troupe of a perfect friend. Nene cannot process her flaws, she rejects the idea, and Aoi can't make Nene talk, face her own issues. So there is never conflict. Their friendship is a love that morphed into a horror situation. A staged friendship.
"Aoi is cute and nice and kind. I refuse to believe she wouldl ever be anything else, let's not think about how i was thrown in the trash by her, that aoi was mean, she was a fake. I will not accept her being the real aoi. I won't even think about it."
Tumblr media
"I know Nene is going through a lot but I need to play the happy girl with no troubles role for her. I won't ask about her problems or even show hints that I know something is off after learning about supernaturals, and that her crush is dead, and human sacrifices are a thing that happen. That's not what she wants from miss popular me."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It reach the point where their fluffy arts feel like fanservice to me, more of a 'look! cute girls doing cute things!! Aren't they such good friends??' photoshoot magazine than a genuine bond.
Look at this beautiful and cute art for exemple.
Tumblr media
You would imagine the chapter is about them, that they will have some form of talk about their feelings in it, so much happened since the last time they talked after all!
Maybe Aoi apologize for throwing Nene out while Nene apologize for planning to die without Aoi's consent, making the same selfish mistake Hanako had done to her when he sacrificed Aoi so Nene could live. Maybe is just a quiet talk about how much things changed? A lighthearted but warm chat of how disorienting seeing supernaturals are as former girls that never had to deal with it? Something, anything, to connect them. Maybe the oposite, a big conflict that gets ugly now that the masks are down...? We had a lot of those in this arc, like kou and teru in chap 87, aoi and akane in chap 69, nene and hanako inc hapter 91! But no.
There is nothing. Is always nothing when they talk.
This beautiful cover art is from the chapter where Aoi issues were immediately brushed aside when she tried to bring them up and the usual bubbly Aoi was forced to come back.
Tumblr media
They are bafflingly shallow for how much time they spend together and how much potential is bubbling under their mask, keeping their basic dynamic from their introduction even when the characters are begging for something to change.
Tumblr media
So that's why I dislike them, they don't make each other better, they don't even have the gall to make each other act worse, they just make each other boring. Aoi is only allowed to be a fleshed out character when we get away from Nene's pov.
Is only through her interactions with other characters that any hint of dept, or hell, even fun quirks and overall aspects of her personality that are hinted with her friendship with nene, are explored or allowed to shine.
Tumblr media
There is potential though! And I could see myself enjoying writing a one-shot exploring how painful for both parties the shallowness of their relationship is in some alternative universe, but unfortunetely the fandom ruined it for me. Which is a shame, since Nene is aoi only other friend, and their charade friendship is genuinely valued/loved by the other.
I tried to read fics and analysis to see if I was missing something but the fandom have a 'omg they are so cute and can do nothing wrong! All their issues will disappear if they hold hands <3' take on them, with so much mischaracterization both girls become unrecognizable. There is also a lot of Akane and aoikane hate, even masked aoi hate, cause god forbid their dear girlboss angelic lesbian queen have any negative feelings towards her bestie or likes a boy whose main flaw used to be the same as Nene (idolizing her to the point of dehumanization), and while that is not the manga's fault, it does affect my negative bias for this ship, make it far stronger.
After 2 years in the fandom, I just don't have the patience for this ship anymore. I don't think people are secretly evil if they ship aoinene or project themselves onto the girls, but it just isn't my thing. I am not looking for a fight either Anon, I block people cause I want as much peace as i can, and if what they ship makes me uncomfortable, is not their problem, is mine. Let them have fun out of my sight so we both strive pls.

Fated Divergence // Yandere! Suguru Geto X Non-Sorcerer Darling
AO3
Not your best day.
You shielded the unforgiving sun from your eyes with your hand because you forgot your one pair of cheap sunglasses at home. They barely did the job anyway but at least they covered your expressions because you weren’t the best at hiding how you felt.
Rest assured, you were annoyed. Unfortunately, without those sunglasses you couldn’t hide the visible deep-set bags under your eyes. Barely getting by on a nurse’s salary. You even fucking moonlighted, and somehow that wasn’t enough to keep up the lifestyle you wanted. You supposed by all other accounts, you were still better off than a vast majority of people.
You still liked to believe in spite of what you endure at the hospital, you held a heart.
Not like you were in the profession for the pay, anyway.
You were so goddamn naïve.
Stopping in front of the Shibuya Clinic, you paused, taking a tension-banishing breath but to no avail. No matter what, you had to endure the trials and tribulations of that day and go home wondering what you could have done better.
A co-worker beamed upon seeing you, but then their expression melded into one of concern. “You want to take a day off?”
“Can I afford it, Mei?” you asked as you strolled by the receptionist desk.
“Hey, don’t worry about it. Take the day off,” she assured you. “I’ll let them know something came up.”
As she said that, you glanced at your calendar only for something to dawn on you.
“I’m not even supposed to work today,” you mumbled, scoffing at your own lack of attention to detail. “I forgot.”
Mei snickered and you glowered at her a bit. Gathering herself, she cleared her throat.
“Then perfect! Take care of yourself, okay?”
“Yeah. Thanks.”
All that effort to get here and for what…?
You strolled back out of the clinic, thankful to have the day for yourself, annoyed that you thought you had to get up earlier than usual to work a shift that wasn’t until that Friday.
You glanced at the calendar again.
Yep. Monday. Of course it was…
You pondered over what else you could do. Maybe you could finally try that bakery that opened down the street. Was it too early for a sweet treat? Did it even matter? That was one of the few things you cared to look forward to; those sweet treats were your goddamn lifeline.
It might make this crappy Monday just a little less so.
--- --- --- --- ---
Suguru found little reprieve from the burdens of his own convictions. While he made his choice, it still didn’t stop himself from being plagued by doubts on whether or not his methods were truly the only way.
After spending the early dawn exorcising high grade curses from unsuspecting monkeys, he decided to clear his mind with a stroll in the district of Shibuya… when a powerful aura caught his attention.
He found the powerful aura in you. A fucking monkey with an aura untouched and pure.
“A diamond amongst the rubble?” he mused to himself as his eyes followed you to that new bakery shop the twins adored so much for reasons he could not fathom himself. Those monkeys ran the bakery, after all… “Not entirely unheard of, I suppose. My monkey parents gave birth to a specimen such as myself.”
He, for reasons unknown to himself, followed you into the bakery. Acting charismatic as ever to the workers and ordering the twins’ usual to carry out, he stopped to observe you.
You took one of the twins’ usual orders. Those strawberry cheese danishes they loved so much. But every time Suguru ate one, he spat it out, overwhelmed by how excruciatingly sweet they were.
“My, my, someone has a sweet tooth,” he addressed you as you glanced up at him with curiosity twinkling in your eyes. “The twins I look after are partial to the ones you’re eating.”
He gave you a once-over, realizing you were in a nurse’s uniform. Someone as high and pristine as you, healing those lowly monkeys?
Yet somehow, he found it fascinating. Like you were not yet tainted by the horrors humans brought to the world; you still wished to heal these lowly monkeys instead of leaving them for dead. He sensed it just by your presence, by your aura. He could visualize it—bright, white, softly glowing around you like you were touched by God.
That God being him, of course, as he took your free hand and rubbed your knuckles with his thumb.
You were dumbstruck by the contact and you retracted your hand.
“Suguru Geto, my dear, forgive me for intruding on your morning. I just wanted to say hello.”
He glanced at your tag, eyebrows perking up upon realization. The Shibuya Clinic? Ah… that led to many possibilities.
“I’ve heard of you,” you remarked, dabbing the corners of your mouth with a napkin. Suguru seemed pleased at the fact that you had table manners, unlike so many of those other monkeys. “You’re that kooky cult guy.”
Suguru made a face.
Kooky? Suguru almost wanted to cackle in your face, but he refrained, masking the irritation through a saccharine smile.
“Ah, that would be correct. I have met many non-believers, including yourself, Miss…?”
You told him your name.
“Ah, lovely,” he replied after repeating your name, enjoying how it felt to say it. Like it just rolled off of his tongue. Such a perfect name, for a perfect specimen…
He loomed over you, intimidating you a tad with his height and unmoving quasi-friendly grin. “I don’t frighten you, do I?”
He observed as you scrutinized him. You likely heard the rumors. He may have been a bit careless with his clients. Only making few exceptions. Perhaps you heard how he had carelessly offed some clients just for looking at him a certain way or getting too close to his personal space.
Ultimately, you shrugged, and he, alarmed but intrigued by your aloofness, cleared his throat.
“Many of my clients have worked in your clinic, Miss. If ever there are situations which you can’t explain or fix, I am happy to help.”
He flashed his business card and his address to his temple.
“Uh huh,” you murmured, tone incredulous, scanning the contents of his card while sipping on your matcha latte. “I’ll consider it, I guess, Suguru.”
“Excellent. It was a pleasure to meet you.”
As he made his exit, he didn’t notice you tearing up his business card and tossing it carelessly into a nearby wastebin.
He was far too consumed in how he would have you all to himself.
