While on the ride he'll be looking around w/ a big smile. Sometimes he takes a look at you to see some kind of reaction.

The two of you would get food and sit down on a wrench while eating.

If you are stressed by how many people there are he will give a lil squeeze to ur hand and a gentle smile.

He'll be walking around in his mad hatter outfit. He'll be so happy if you choose to cosplay a character w/ him.

You point at a statue or poster and say "Looks it's you!" When he looks there it's the mad hatter and he'll let out a chuckle.

The two of you will wonder trough the whole place. He is amazed by it's beauty.

Imagine getting lost in the maze w/ him.

Also he wouldn't want to lose sight of you, he would be very worried. For both of you.

He might start to talk about random facts that come up to him or some line from the book. You just smile while listening to him.

Hi! I goshed over how cute the dog ask was!.and it gave me an idea for a part 2 how would the riddlers react if they or another member of the rouges gallery lost their little buddy's only to see A Dog found poster with there dog on it and has been found by Bruce Wayne!?

Immediately knows somethings up when there’s no sign of Einstein for hours.

He knows the pooch doesn’t exactly have a schedule but this certainly wasn’t normal.

Panic finally sets in when he doesn’t show up the next morning

He’s checking everything from security cameras to every traffic light around the block.

It’s one of his informants that makes him aware of the lost dog poster out of wayne manor.

He is one pissed super criminal

That rich boy is going to suck the intelligence out of the poor pooch!

5 people get kidnapped and a ransom letter is sent to GCPD

Batman and Gordon are trying to figure if the dog is apart of some elaborate scheme

Upon time for the trade off Einstein is wagging his tail,while well pampered at Wayne manor he missed his genius dad.

“Animals aren’t normally something you’re interested in,I hope you’re not intending to hurt him.” “Oh please dark knight this sweet simpleton is apart of a much larger scheme! With lasers! Something even you won’t see coming!” (Eddie literally has a line of dialogue about it in Arkham city)

He’s almost about to sob when they get home. Almost.

Of course he’s not happy Einstein escaped.

They have a long talk about responsibility in his office

Jervis calls him practically sobbing. Mumbles something about the door being open when he went to go check on Francine

Quite literally leaves a meeting with Harvey point blank

He’s a whole mess when he finds an empty apartment

She’s a smart girl! Surly she remembers how to-

He is stressed out,like he’s barely able to solve a puzzle right now

It’s jervis who finds the poster.

The two of them immediately decide holding up Wayne enterprises is a great idea

I mean they’ve done worse for less.

Bruce is a little taken aback at first but the green detailing in the poodles hair immediately clicks with both him and alfred

“I must admit you certainly take good care of her.” “Royalty deserves the best Mr Wayne and Francine is royalty.”

Francine is just unbothered by this entire thing,girl gets taken care of wherever she is

They spend a long time cuddling afterwards.

When lupa is nowhere to be found in the riddle lair she’s had BOTH Eddie and Tuesday panicked

“What do you mean she’s gone!?!” “I mean she’s gone Eddie! As in i can’t find her!”

Tuesday sends out what is essentially a dog amber alert via social media

They have a good half of Gotham not doing well

Edward nigma has having a short out,no riddles are being carefully handcrafted by this time

Tim is the one who finds out where the pooch currently sleeping on the couch came from.

While both the caped crusaders heads go immediately to trap they both realize it’s probably not best to do this while Eddie is most likely not doing well

They’re not wrong of course

It becomes a whole affair with GCPD especially considering Tuesday didn’t expect to get a DM from the GCPD account.

The dog goes home but if they try arresting the two the riddler is about to make the park a wasteland

i might be wrong but i dont think they really used jerome in promotions of the show that often or at least on the dvd cases i have for the show (fucking jervis is on the back of one of them but not jerome like are you kidding (it was probably because they didnt have the license to use the joker (i think that was why) and they probably didnt want to get into any trouble but thats just me speculating))

🏴‍☠️ Captain Hook: How often are they to hold a grudge, and for how long? And if they want revenge, how would they enact it?

{{ Well, it ranges somewhere between eternity... and the next 10 seconds haha. Jervis makes such an effort to be polite but when his temper snaps he is the single most spiteful and petty thing in all of Gotham. His ability for mind control lends him well to torture, murder I assure you is the kindest thing Dr. Tetch can do to a mind. Jervis is infamous in Arkham to the staff for the way he secretly holds onto every irritation and mistreatment by a rowdy guard or disrespectful doctor. He has a very routine behavior-- he'll let you mistreat him at first, seemingly unbothered or even amused, and then suddenly he'll reappear one day to single you out as a new face of a missing poster. Many, many of his rabbit guards are people he resented. He considers near all his criminal behavior to be punishment for "bullies" or "rude" individuals.

However, in almost an indisitinguishable way, he can sometimes get just as angry and just.... let it go. Even be perfectly friendly with you. Or! He can try to kill you and THEN be friendly with you, which is a very curious position to b put in. }}

🥀 Gaston: How jealous can they get? Do they act upon that jealousy or do they prefer to keep it inside?

{{ *breathes* Um, endlessly. Just endlessly. But pretty much only with romantic subjects, never jealousy for... scientific achievement or the like. To ship with Jervis Tetch is to endure his possessive nature, that's why. Though a very loving person he is unfortunately deeply insane. When he says you belong to him he does mean it. The bright side is he has a curious habit of only ever directing his anger at the source of the jealousy, not his partner-- if that manages to be any consolation. However, this jealousy will absolutely manifest into extreme behavior, even if it drives him to do something mean to this jealousy source behind the partner's back. Just to not worry them, of course, of course... }}

@jervis-tetch-my-beloved something like that. Jervis has an obsessive personality and he definitely adores Jonathan, but I don't think it's fatherly affection. I see it more as Jervis regarding Jonathan the way a collector would a precious artifact, or an owner with a rare and beautiful pet- something he cherishes, tends to with great attention, and finds endlessly fascinating.

Also, I don't think Jonathan is really into romance at all, but he definitely needs to be and feel cared for, which I think Jervis would do well, if a little stiflingly sometimes. But Jonathan can stick up for himself if that happens.

Not saying Jervis is the poster boy for healthy affection and relationships. He's not. But this is what I think their dynamic is.

Jervis is the type of person to have all seasons of Doctor Who on CD. Just sayin.

The 1st day he came and saw that Doctor Who poster in the living room, he was like crazy and shouting EXTERMINATE then I showed him the CDs and that went worse. My mom is a huge fan of Doctor who and made us start with the CDs with Matt Smith. Jervis forces me to watch the other seasons as I don't usually watch TV.

My mom had the Van Gogh's Tardis painting but someone stole it years ago 😭

My personal reimagining of Jervis Tetch, AKA: The Mad Hatter.

So I noticed that it is really common for Gotham rogues-- but almost especially Jervis Tetch-- to get redrawn and redesigned! Which I just thought was such a fun exercise, so because I'm me and predictable my brain immediately leaped at the chance to imagine my own Jervis.... set in the 1920s. Now, the drastically different time period causes a lot of interesting dynamics. For one, I'm fairly certain Jervis Tetch's character originates from a time period of comics where people wore a lot more hats, so setting him in the past is very fitting for him. It makes a lot more sense for him to literally be an artisan hat manufacturer, as in a real hatter. BUT what's interesting is that hand made "hatter" style hats were actually beginning to fade out of favor, and one of the reasons is actually partially because there was a growing moralizing around the hatting industry's overhunting of birds for their decorative feathers, and so Jervis ( as you can see ) having this big, real peacock bird feather on his hat is sort of a defiance, a subtle expression of his bad intent. And I imagine his introduction to crime will be marked with the sudden unprompted rise of vintage style hats "regaining popularity". He's very much still a hypnotist, a master illusionist, and a scientific genius, and I was thinking- to shake things up- the hat is actually what drove him insane. Originally the hat band was created to counteract nerve damage he developed from mercury poisoning some years ago, but ended up also giving him heightened focus and an incurable bout of severe insanity. Then he later repurposed it for mind control. What insanity? Ok, look at the face I drew for him. This was on accident, but I've been looking at his face...... and I cannot shake the feeling he's a dad. Like, he has peak "wacky inventor father" energy in his face, but more sickly and evil. So I was thinking.... what if for this Jervis instead of his usual romantic Alice fixation... Alice was instead his daughter. And he loved having pretend tea parties with her, acting as the hatter. Some point after he put on the hat, his behavior was a little off but not worrying yet, but he lets his daughter wander off too far in this dangerous city and he just... never sees her again. He calls the police, they're kinda apathetic- probably corrupt tbh, he puts up posters-- nothing, she's just gone. Probably dead the more time passes. A senseless tragedy in a nonsense world. This breaks his brain! And so he decides he's going to take over all of Gotham and turn it into a game of Wonderland, part out of spite, and mostly out of total denial that his daughter is gone no matter how many years pass, in hopes that the little lost girl will find her way back to him or even that more puppets means more help finding her. But with time his insanity becomes so severe he doesn't even remember Alice was his daughter and not literally the book Alice, but he is slightly more lucid when without the hat. However, he feels sick and anxious when without it.

But as it goes in Gotham, by the time they consider you Arkham levels of insane, incurably so-- a 1920s insane asylum mind you! Which practically makes him more ill-- you sort of have no choice but to stay in the crime life forever. Which is where the tommy guns come in.
