"I'm not talking. So don't ask me to talk, cause I'm not."

Jason sighed. It came out like a burst of static through his mask as he leaned forward, setting his chin on one gloved hand.

The goon tied to the chair in front of him visibly gulped. His eyes were as wide as they could go, tracking Jason down to the slightest shift of his weight on the stool underneath him.

"That's Batman's thing. Not mine."

"Right," the goon said, after a beat of confused silence. "Right, that ain't your thing. You're--"

Jason yanked a gun out of a holster, sighting on the goon's face. "I don't usually ask."

"So shoot me," the goon said, with bulging, terrified eyes. "I ain't talking."

"That would be counterproductive," Jason said, letting out another mask-rattling sigh. He leaned back in his chair, still holding the gun up. "Let me get this straight -- do you enjoy getting pistol whipped?"

"No."

"Are you good at poker?"

The goon swallowed again. "Not really."

"So stop fucking bluffing me. Because I'm sure as shit not bluffing you. I'll beat the shit out of you with this, and you'll be sucking food out of a tube for the rest of your life. And you know what's convenient about that?"

"W-what?" the goon asked, trembling.

"You can still nod yes or no," Jason said. He smiled under the mask, even though it was wasted on the goon. "You can still point. Even without all your teeth. You following my lead here? Why the fuck would I shoot you when I could just do that?"

The goon stared at him. He was trembling hard enough to shake the whole chair, ropes and all. His lips quivered, as if trying to form a word.

Jason rolled his eyes under the mask, irritated. He shoved the gun forward, dropping his voice into a familiar register.

"Talk."

And like some cruel, cosmic joke, the goon started talking.

Spent the last 2 months working hard on something cool for a convention I hit every year :)

A “buddy” vigilante story where Jason and Tim go back in time during Dick’s time as Robin, when the Worlds Greatest Detective was still young.

Basically, they significantly change the past and in the most annoying way possible. Tim knows that no one will know it was them and has been pretty morally flexible about the whole thing. They go down the list of rogues, down the list of siblings, bickering about it the whole time.

Jason kills the Joker, Tim rescues Cass, and both of them try and get one over on the other about their past selves.

Because Tim tries to talk baby Jason into stealing the Bat’s tires early while Jason’s out murdering Zucco, and Jason’s out snatching Tiny Tim and his camera from rooftops trying to leave him gift wrapped in the batcave while Tim’s out stealing info from Luthor.

It’s one giant clusterfuck but they’re successful because Tim and Jason combined are absolutely lethal and no one ever saw them coming.

Meanwhile, they keep running into Robin and absolutely losing it over seeing their oldest brother so young and angry.

Dick tries to track them down after they killed Zucco, he wants to ask why. What the hell they could possibly be doing or why that would matter to them.

Tim pushes Jason off a roof.Jason lights Tim’s ancient computer on fire. Tim tears a book in half. Jason takes pictures of Tiny Tim and sets them as his wallpaper. It’s a comedy, your honor.

And probably the worst headache Batman will ever get.

That man probably thought his stay at Arkham was divine intervention. He killed dozens and read the entire stay. If any major rogues were there, which they weren't, then he probably would've toyed with them a little

There hasn't been a single major rogue who was 'rehabilitated' in Arkham. Why did they think Jason would be any different? Like, if they put him in Blackgate, at least he'd only kill in self defence, since usually the inmates are goons who are desperate for money. But Arkham? It's like putting a starving great white shark in the decorative fish aquarium, and the only security measure is thoughts and prayers
