The pattern on his shawl is also the forest background of Briarland (or the forest in Sleeping Beauty in general lol), its such a nice addition that maybe the hc that Briar Valley values textile is true bcs even in the royal clothes of a Draconia they incorporate something about their land 🥺💚✨

At first, Riddle isn't really sure what to do with you.

He scolds you for getting yourself transformed but gives up when he realizes you're just playing with the rose pin on his uniform.

He's reluctant to take you to class but he cares more about his grades than the embarrassment of having a baby in his lap.

During the class, Ace says something stupid but before Riddle can reprimand him, you point your chubby little finger at Ace and say "off wit his heab!".

Riddle is now heart eyes for you.

He carries you around in his arms, glaring at anyone who dares to question the child he's holding.

Riddle: I've only had Y/N for a day and a half but if anything happened to them, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.

All the Heartslabyul members are completely speechless about how head over heels their strict dorm leader is for this baby.

Most of them have never seen him genuinely smile until he blows bubbles on your tummy just to make you laugh.

It's a complete 180 in his personality, reserved only for baby you.

He lets regular you get away with way more than his own dorm members but as a baby, he doesn't even care what you do.

You tug on his hair? He laughs and offers you his hand to hold instead.

You knock over a red paint can for the roses? He scolds Ace and Deuce for letting you get into trouble and goes to wash you off.

He didn't realize that he loves kids so much until your transformation and now he has baby fever.

At least that's what he tells everybody else.

He has some experience from babysitting Cheka on occasion but it will be a reluctant agreement.

He spends a good five minutes grumbling about how he shouldn't be the one who has to take care of you.

Ruggie gets tired of it pretty quick and offers to take care of you instead.

Leona immediately gets defensive.

Absolutely no one else can be trusted to take care of you. Ruggie will just get you into trouble.

He knows that isn't true but he isn't going to admit that your chubby toddling form has been growing on him.

He expected you to be rather high maintenance but after trying to figure out what you want for a good long while, he realized that you were quite content just to sit on his lap and play with his braids.

Leona sat there sulking while you giggled in his arms.

One thing he did appreciate about baby you is your inclination for napping.

It meant that he could sleep too instead of keeping a constant eye on you to make sure you don't get into trouble.

He held you tightly against his chest to prevent you from wandering away just in case you woke up.

The steady rise and fall of his breathing lulled you to sleep until you would turn back to normal, not opposing to the previous position.

To be honest, the only reason Azul even took you in was so you wouldn't be left alone to Jade and Floyd's devices.

He didn't really have time to give you the attention you wanted but he felt really bad about it.

After every meeting, he would play with you, stretching your feet up and down as you giggled hysterically.

Apparently, the concept of the human baby feet was foreign to both of you and Azul was quite interested in the your tiny, squishy toes.

He studied you as he played, taking notes for future reference, then blushing profusely when his first thought was of a child you and he would have together in the future.

Eventually, he ended up forgetting all about his business duties and closed the Mostro Lounge to play hide-and-seek with you.

Jade was a bit concerned but after seeing the grin on Azul's face, he left the two of you alone.

As soon as you gestured grabby hands at Azul, he was complete putty.

He picked you up and refused to put you down for the rest of the day, even during some of his obligatory meetings.

He assumed it must have been harder for his clients to take him seriously while he bounced a laughing baby on his knee but any objections they had were quickly silenced with a glare from Floyd.

When you fell asleep on his lap, he was so afraid to disturb you that he didn't get up from his chair all night, instead sleeping upright just to keep you comfortable.

Malleus had to nearly pry you away from Lilia, who was dead set on taking care of you.

It took some persuasion, and by that I mean bribery and a good word from Silver.

Malleus, not unlike Azul, wasn't particularly familiar with the whole "human baby" concept and he found you fascinating.

How you just stared at him, studying his face for so long his legs went numb with your weight,

How you touched his horns with the gentlest stroke and giggling at the smoothness of them,

He couldn't help but giggle with you, amazed by your childish lack of inhibition.

He would never let anyone touch his horns normally but he guessed it was okay if it was you and if you were just a baby.

You quickly grow on him, figuratively and literally.

You're attached to him now and you aren't letting go.

He hugs you tightly as you wrap your arms around his neck while walking around campus.

You definitely got a few confused stares as the Prince of the Faelands carried a tiny human baby.

Sebek didn't trust you, even as a baby and he was constantly on the defensive.

Malleus loved to give you forehead kisses and watch your face scrunch up with laughter.

He was so gentle with you which seemed a stark contrast to his usual harsh and intimidating demeanor.

He misses your cuddly nature a bit when you turn back and sometimes uses the cold on your midnight walks as an excuse to hold you closer.

Malleus is the type of guy who doesn't mind being the big spoon or the small spoon, It honestly depends on his mood. whenever he's feeling down he just wants you to cuddle with him and wrap your arms around his bigger frame... it makes him feel secure, safe, and loved (it also reminds him of his younger days when his grandmother comforts him by spooning his small frame and patting his back). but whenever you're the one who's having a tough time he always makes sure to do the same to you and whispers sweet comforting things to your ear as he hums a lullaby, lulling you to sleep as he pats your hair gently.

Malleus often wraps his arms around your waist and squeezes it a bit just to hear you laugh because of how ticklish that is and he loves to listen to your cute laugh <3 (it doesn't matter if you have a gruff voice or a squeaky laugh or even similar to a car window swiper laugh. he loves to hear it anyway)

Malleus always makes sure to take off his gloves whenever he holds your hands because he wants to feel your hands and how different it is from his. it also reminds him that he's not alone and you're still here with him even though he knows that you'll disappear someday because you're a mortal and he's immortal. love is a bittersweet thing after-all.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus is quick to notice as he is an observant person. He can pick up little details that you probably aren't even aware you were showing. As a result, he finds out fairly quickly that you have insomnia/have trouble sleeping

When he learned of this, he was quite perplexed. Why aren't you getting enough sleep? He was curious but regardless, he understands the importance of sleep for humans. As a fae, he can functions well without much sleep but he knows the same can't be said about humans

Malleus keeps you company throughout the night, only allowing himself to rest once he is assured that you're asleep too. In the meantime he tries everything within his power to help you sleep.

He gets you some extra comfortable pillows and blankets, ones that are comfortable for your neck and cushion your head while also relaxing you as much as possible.

He mainly distracts you by telling stories, his voice lulling you to rest. Other times it's pure silence as Malleus cradles you gently against his chest, his fingers weaving through your hair in a comforting manner. It all depends on his partner and their preference, he doesn't mind either option

Instead of tossing and turning in your bed, Malleus suggests going for a stroll around the school, a change of setting could help with the nerves

Sometimes before bed, he'll give you gently massages around your shoulders to help relax your muscles and make all your worries disappear. He's touch is very tender and light, carefully rubbing against your shoulders and releasing any tension

Really Malleus is willing to do anything in to help you sleep, he cares about you a lot and wishes to see you get the sleep you need

Lilia Vanrouge

Lilia is another person who can quickly recognize the signs that indicate you haven't been sleeping enough. Upon seeing this, he's quick to investigate and soon comes learns that you insomnia/trouble sleeping 

As for himself, he doesn't sleep much and similar to Malleus, he can get through the day without much rest. But he also knows sleep it's essential for humans.

Lilia knows some of the best methods to help someone fall asleep. Herbal tea, soft music, comfortable blankets, etc. He is willing to try them all.

Similar to Malleus, Lilia tends to distract his partner by using his voice. He would often tell you stories of the war; his stories can last for hours and are filled with mischief and adventure from his youth, so you'll get bored as you try to sleep. He's even willing to hum a little tone for you if you prefer that as well

On the days when you really struggle to sleep, Lilia will sing you a lullaby, something that helped Silver when he was younger. His voice was known to make little ones fall asleep within seconds, it wouldn't hurt to try it with his partner. It would soft and low, nothing too loud but enough to reach your ears like a sweet whisper

Though at times it feels like he's treating you like a baby. His fatherly instincts are kicking in, he can't stop himself. It may feel patronizing, but it does wonders

Lilia may even dabble in some potions, looking for something that can help ease your difficulty in sleeping- but for the most part he sticks to herbal tea and reading you stories of his past

Sebek Zigvolt

He doesn't notice it right away and chances are that his partner will be the one to tell him about their insomnia/restless nights

At first, Sebek struggles to understand why you would have difficulties sleeping. He asks you many questions about it, inquiring if you were having nightmares or other things that would have led to your inability to sleep. It may come off as insensitive, but Sebek is trying to understand the situation and construct the best solution around it. He takes it very seriously

Unfortunately, he is at a loss at what to do at first and he really wants to help too- he ends up going to Lilia for advice. That or does some research on his own, finding a good source that list methods of a good night's rest

With both Lilia's guidance and the readings he's done, Sebek tries to help you by preparing you some drinks that help with sleep and relaxation such as milk. He also suggests doing some reading; he even picks out some books he thinks you'd enjoy

Sebek doesn't leave your side until you fall asleep, he keeps an eye out for anything that can cause a disturbance to your rest or induce stress. He's basically guarding you, only leaving to grab anything you need

He knows he can be loud, and he knows many students find it annoying; but for you, he tries to tone down his voice to lower the risk of startling you awake- though it's does slip at times

Like Malleus, Sebek will only allow himself to rest once he is assured that you're safe and resting peacefully. Although he can be a bit awkward at times, he slowly picks up on the things that work best at helping you sleep while also trying some new things from time to time.

" I heard from Lilia-Sama that warm milk relaxes the body- perhaps it will help you sleep! Ah- right, I shouldn't be too loud, my apologies-!"

Silver

He doesn't know what to do as he has never been placed in a situation similar to that. Silver is the opposite, in which he can easily fall asleep in a matter of seconds. But despite that, he does try to help his partner as he becomes greatly worried about their health

Like Sebek, he goes to Lilia for advice (Lilia feels like a proud dad) as he is not experienced with these types of situations

He gets you some really comfortable pillows and even buys you a weighted blanket as he read those significantly help with rest

Silver tries to stay awake with you throughout the night and he feels bad when he does fall asleep knowing your predicament. If he could, he would switch places with you in a heartbeat. While he is awake, he will get you anything you want. Water? He already has a glass. Hungry? Silver is just returning back from the kitchen with snack in hand.

He pays attention to little things such as the temperature, making sure you're not too hot or cold. He also keeps an eye on little distractions, such as outside sounds, phones, and any bright lights that could cause a hindrance. Sometimes he ends up falling asleep by accident, and he feels incredibly guilty about it afterwards- unfortunately, he has no control over it.

Some nights Silver would take you to the balcony to watch stars, keeping you company as you distract yourself with the view. He believes that getting some fresh air will help ease your nerves and remove anything that plagues your mind and it's better than tossing and turning continuously which will only frustrate you in the process.

Unfortunately, due to his condition, Silver can't help as much as he wishes to. Part of him feels like he failed as a lover- despite that, he still continues to help his partner to his best ability

The child-but not child au think kinda have me thinking about the time how when I was a kid and have a bad dream I just head to my see sister room and just look at her sleeping till she wakes up and she usually have that face of terror because she told me ( years later, now we are adults ) that I have a bad habit of not blinking and have that strangely blank face before telling her that I have a bad dream and if I could sleep next to her

I kinda seeing them doing that to someone just to see a reaction and also they don't want to sleep alone

Oh absolutely, also I feel you on nightmares. I have chronic nightly night terrors even as a child.

Nightmares are to be expected especially in someone so little after experience so many overbolts. Sure you had the mind of someone older but your body reacted to trauma like you weren't at times, and the overbolts had you helpless. You loathe to admit it, but if you had had to deal with them alone you couldn't have won even the first. That fact was always in the back of your mind haunting you.

Luckily you had people here who cared, a nearly whole school of them. Sure a few nameless students found you annoying but they were a very small number. So you had a pick of who you reached out to for comfort.

In heartslabyul the best to go to are Trey, Riddle, and Deuce. Sometime Cater as well since he had sisters but it was always a 50/50 chance he'd wake up. Trey makes you warm milk, and hugs you telling you it will all be okay. Riddle wakes up annoyed until he sees its you and the state your in, he listens to your nightmares when you wish to talk of them and as he does so holds your hands reminding you you aren't alone. Deuce in a groggy state always assumes someone hurt you and goes in to delinquent mode until you tell him it was a nightmare, then before you can ask pulls you into bed with a "I'll protect you."

In savanaclaw all three main characters are good to go to. Each has a different style of comfort. Jack swaddles you offering protection, depending how bad of shape you are he'll transform and curl around you allowing you to stroke his fur. Ruggie is used to caring for people, he knows all the tricks to help you fall asleep again and lets you stay with him in bed, even cracks some jokes to get you laughing again before going to sleep. Leona is weird he acts a bit grumpy until he sees your face and then he's pulling you to him protectively purring loudly. He also is smug the next day because you came to *him*.

Octavinelle the only one who gives good comfort is Azul, the twins aren't great with dealing with nightmares and Floyd can be dangerous when he tries to squeeze the nightmares out of you. He things hugs help and they do but he can hug too hard. Azul makes a gentle tea and allows you to cry with out judgement. He knows what it's like to be filled with fear.

Pomefiore you can go to any of them but none of them are super good at comfort. Vil just agrees and allows you to get in bed before going back to sleep. Rook asks too many questions. Epel panics because he doesn't know what to do he was the baby of the family.

Ignihyde isn't a good one to go to either but good at the same time. Idia is always up late so you can trust him to 'keep watch' and since he is gaming you'll hear plenty of sounds but that could keep you up. Ortho treats it like a medical event checking you over and using the twist version of Google to find solutions. But both can have their hair used as nightlights.

Diasomnia the two best to go to are Malleus and Lilia. Both are up not requiring much if any sleep being full fae. Malleus is content to keep watch over you and stroke your hair as you sleep, simply pleased that his little child of man came to him for comfort. Lilia has raised at least one kid, and is well known for his lullaby prowess. He'll lull you back to bed in no time and with a sense of safety.
