For some reason I’m having Generation Outlaw thoughts these past few weeks!? They’re just, weirdly intriguing to me, and I’m putting them in E136.

I don’t have a lot nailed down yet, but just some notes on what I have so far:

They’re basically the Hive Five to Generator & Snow Leopard’s Titans team.

Come about as a result of the chaos of the Crisis, in a world that’s now at least a little inspired by Wildbow’s Parahumans setting, Post-Gold Morning.

I’m tying them to N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and Project Harvester.

@the-antiapocalyptic-man‘s admittedly limited notes on Devour are what inspired this, AND sligshotted Devour to my favourite. If I ever actually write a story about this, Devour’s gonna be the Outlaw’s main POV.

He and Generator are definitely and gonna be foils and maybe kiss? Still, he views Generator with a modicum of jealousy. Closeted Batman fan.

Babe-in-Arms’ name is Mandy, and she’s actually the result of an occult equivalent of a super soldier program, and thus was born a powerful necromancer with the ability to absorb residual knowledge from anyone she raises.

DNA’s the leader here, and created via experimentation of the Martian genome, to see just how far it could really go. Would kill and die for the others’ sake.

Reiser is actually DNA’s “brother” of a sort, here being just a straight up half human clone of Doomsday in the same vein as CADMUS’ various Kryptonian clones. Views Mandy as his little sister.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not an expert on mental health, but Cloud 9 (Alyssa) has Bipolar I disorder. DNA’s constantly worried for her (not about her, for her, I need to make that clear). 

While they’re straight up Hive Five style villains at first, they eventually split and end up in the care of the newly resurrected yet still amnesiac Lian Harper, and end up helping her crusade against Prometheus’ criminal enterprises in Blüdhaven.
