AU where Bo-Katan randomly winds up on Lothal shortly after Ezra's parents are taken and finds him and, well, she may not be one of those weirdo traditionalists but she still respects the ancient creed when it comes to foundlings so... guess she's responsible for raising a small child now! wait his parents are possibly alive? well now she's gotta go find them if they're still living and reunite him with them! but she can't bring a defenseless foundling on such a dangerous mission! who could she possibly trust to take care of him? wait doesn't her old bestie from her terrorist phase have a couple kids his age? heyyyyy, ursa, girl! long time no see! can you watch this kid for me for a little while thanks byeeee~~

and then the AU is just Bo-Katan's hunt for Ezra's parents, interspersed with increasingly frantic and/or furious comms from Ursa about how the half-starved traumatized nonverbal foundling is manifesting wizard powers. bo this is not funny. get back here and get your telekinetic hellion. he's helping my daughter put paint on the ceilings.

alternate endings include (1) Ephraim and Mira are alive and Bo rescues them and everyone lives happily ever after, (2) Ephraim and Mira are not alive and now Bo-Katan has to hunt down a Jedi to raise the boy and she ends up locating Kanan, (3) Ephraim and Mira are not alive and Bo-Katan decides that her best bet for Jedi Most Likely To Have Survived The Purge is obi-wan and so she goes looking for him, darth vader encounter shenanigans optional, and (4) Ephraim and Mira are not alive and Bo-Katan cares for Ezra herself and somewhere along the way he gets the Darksaber and well apparently bo is raising tarre vizsla 2 electric boogaloo. this should be good.

¡HEAR ME OUT! ¡HEAR ME OUT! A Sabine and Shin fanfic with a plot of fake girlfriends in college (rivals to lovers). Here's a part of what I'm writing, and I hope to publish it on Ao3 soon:

"Changing the subject. Have you found a solution for your project yet?" asks the African-American girl curiously.

Sabine sighs wearily. "I haven't been able to find something with enough power to generate a laser. I'm starting to think about dropping out of university if I don't figure it out soon."

"Well, I have good and bad news for you," Ketsu tries to suppress a smile, karma was definitely funny. "A girl in my prototype class made a laser weapon; maybe she can help you."

"Please tell me who she is," the Mandalorian almost lunges at her friend; she needed that information if she wanted to graduate with a double major.

"Jyn Erso."

Sabine turns to where the girl is, tossing grapes to Shin to catch with her mouth. That was bad; the only person who could help her was the best friend of the girl she just treated badly. Without a doubt, Jyn would tell her to go to hell along with her thesis. "Damn."

Swallowing all her pride, the Mandalorian got up and headed toward the table where Jyn was sitting. Ketsu, on the other hand, was dying of laughter; she didn't want to miss the show.

"Dude, you have to aim for my mouth," Jyn says with laughter when Shin throws a grape at her head with the intent to hit her.

"Jyn... Can I talk to you?" Sabine asks, ignoring the look Shin gives her back; she was probably checking out her behind.

The raven-haired girl diverted her attention from the grapes and smiled with satisfaction. "I'm sorry, but I'm a bit busy. Can you move out of the way?"

Sabine glances at Shin with annoyance when she hears her laughing with complicity. Naboo seemed unfazed by the hostility, and with complete serenity, she threw a grape into the air and caught it in her mouth. "Come on, Jyn, she probably needs something. You never know when you might need a favor."

The Mandalorian suppresses the urge to punch the blonde when she winks at her, too flirtatious and sexy, more than she'd like to admit.

"Yeah... I only do favors for my friends' girlfriends," Jyn places her hands on the backrest, adopting a more relaxed posture than before, making it clear that she didn't care about what Sabine wanted.

Sabine clenches her fists; she was going to regret her next decision. "Fine, if I accept your idiot friend's proposal, would you help me with an energy problem for my project?"

"Ding ding ding ding," Jyn throws a grape and catches it. "Come to our dorm at 8, and we'll discuss whatever you want about your project."

"Okay, I'll see you tonight."

"See? It wasn't that hard, ad'ika (love)," Shin says with satisfaction. "By the way, those jeans look great on you."

Sabine rolls her eyes and throws a grape from Jyn's bowl directly at the blonde, but Naboo easily catches it. "Screw you."

"I love it when you play hard to get," Shin blows a kiss into the air.

The Mandalorian flips her middle finger; yes, she was definitely already regretting that decision.

Gaming Hot Take of the Day: We should have another Playstations All-Stars Battle Royale.

The game was sadly a victim of timing and a lot of the device choices particularly the roster was indicative of that. Not helped by the fact that many of Sony's stars in the PS1 era were third parties and the special meter based knockouts make for a tiers built around what character can accrue meter the quickest.

But I look at where playstation is now and I think about the general landscape of gaming and think-Smash Bros like games are much more popular now. We have ones like Nicktoon All-Star Brawl, Multiversus, Rivals of Aether-there's clearly people who want a good platform figure and Sony is a company with a leg up with the IP it has now.

They've got old classics like Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Rachet and Clank, God of War and Medievil. But now they have tons of new classics Horizon, Stellar Blade, Bloodborne, Astrobot, The Last of Us, Ghost's of Tsushima-Oh my god! Let me make a three way fight between Sly, Cole MacGrath, and Jin to determine who is the best from Sucker Punch!

Hell, I think you could even keep the super meter, but add in the more traditional stage knock out common to platform fighters and have the super meter as an added level of strategy.

And you know what, here's a two for hot take: Xbox should do the same. Yes, its cool to seem them in Smash Bros. But man, Xbox has a bunch of its own franchises that its both made and acquired throughout the years that could make for a great game.

All I'm saying is, this is a concept that is clearly popular. SO what's the harm in trying again?

People seriously need to know and understand the difference between "people-who-don't-like-each-other-at-first to lovers" "rivals to lovers" and "enemies to lovers" because they're not the same at all.

People-who-don't-like-each-other-at-first to lovers is exactly that. People who don't get along too well who eventually become lovers. There's not a rivalry between them, much less hostility (like in the enemies-to-lovers). If you like ships where the two characters disagree on some things (and that's all the tension they have) or "A" character of them flirts with the "B" character, and "B" ignores "A" or gets annoyed- until they fall in love- you don't like rivals-to-lovers nor enemies-to-lovers. You like this trope and this is nothing like the other two.

Rivals-to-lovers is the trope where two characters are rivals. They don't like each other, and both of the characters, "A" and "B", probably want to show they're the best at something. They probably hate each other, but they're not actively hurting each other because yes. And they also don't have the same hostility enemies have. They compete with each other, sure, but most of the times they don't act like enemies would. If you like ships where the two characters have tension and they don't like each other, but not enough to kill them, hurt them, or something like that, then the trope you like is rivals-to-lovers. Not enemies-to-lovers.

And finally, enemies-to-lovers. An enemy is a person who is actively opposed or hostile to someone or something. Therefore, the two characters are probably in opposite sides, in a war or something similar. They hate each other, they want to see the other hurt, and they probably want to hurt the other themselves. They want to make them suffer because they're not in the same side, and they don't think the same. They don't have the same morality, that's why they fight against each other. But sometimes, their hostility can turn into something else. Something that makes them be lovers. So if you like ships where two enemies, who actively hate each other and try to kill each other, become lovers, you like enemies-to-lovers.

To put examples:

"People-who-don't-like-each-other to lovers" ships: Hanleia. Jilly. Yes, people. They're not rivals nor enemies. So stop saying the ship is enemies-to-lovers because that's not true.

"Rivals-to-lovers" ships: Klance, Jeith/Jaith, Icemav, Lawrusso (I mentioned fanon ships because now I can't remember canon rivals-to-lovers ships). They surely don't like each other (some of them just at the beginning, because later they became friends) but they don't hate each other like an enemy would.

"Enemies-to-lovers" ships: Darklina, Reylo, Kalluzeb, Catradora. These are enemies-to-lovers ships because they were in opposite sides. And they actively hurt them, not in a "Let's see who's the best" way but in a "I want to will you" way. So yeah- they're enemies, not rivals or something else. These ships are actual enemies to lovers ships.

3 fanfic-ideas 📚

I don't have the time or motivation to write all of those. Maybe one at some point. If anyone feels inspired, you are free to use them.

BNHA fic: Toshinori and Inko get together while Izuku is in his early middle school era. Izuku has no idea that his mom's new boyfriend is his favourite hero and, like many kids when a parent dates some new person, he is a bit skeptical of him at first - but he comes around. Big surprise later, when he finds out that his father figure is All Might.

Star Wars fic: Anakin doesn't become a Jedi and stays on Naboo. He tries to get closer to Padme, but it is a big hindrance that she is the queen and he is just a commoner. To get his crush's attention Anakin competes in the next election for the monarch against her - with a program that is partly copied from Padme and partly right-wing populism - and gets actually on her bad side with that - and wins the election - and becomes king. Padme begrudgingly becomes his advisor, to ensure that he doesn't ruin Naboo.

Miraculous Ladybug Crossover Ship Crack fic: Instead of living in the world of Demon Slayer, Zenitsu Agatsuma exists in Ladybug's Paris. His first appearance in Marinette's life is in Ep. 1 when he overhears her ranting about wanting to marry Adrien in the park, he rushes over there and volunteers himself that she can marry him instead. Of course he gets rejected. Soon after that, Alya is on her quest to find out who the superheroes are and she suspects that Zenitsu is Chat Noir, because he looks similar enough, is never seen during Akuma attacks (because he is hiding well, he is very scared of them) and is known for sappily and tactlessly flirting with girls. While Alya tries to expose him, Marinette, who buys the theory, tags along and tries to protect his (nonexistent) secret. During this arc Zenitsu falls in love with Marinette and as she can't reject him hard enough out of fear he could get akumatized, she has to put up with his fawning from there on: inappropriate compliments, simping, begging, crying and him ecstatically screaming "MADEMOISELLE MARINETTE", because he thinks adding "Mademoiselle" is cute. But he also has better moments sometimes and grows on her. Long premise short: Marinette gets a suitor who makes her feel the high levels of cringe/exasperation/second-hand-embarassment she sometimes made me feel when I watched her show. They're sharing three braincells, but one of those is only for anxiety and another is only for yearning. The one who has currently the common sense/intelligence brain cell shakes his/her head at the other one who is struggling with one of the other two. I think that would be funny.
