Summary: Riddle’s upcoming track, Judgement. The feeling of being judged by others by your actions, especially if they’re tyrannical and unfair - is not a good feeling. His face is covered in blood, and has been stabbed by multiple swords, even his own. Though, his sword looks different to the one he uses now...

What makes it bizarre is that this man is not being decapitated, but is meant to bleed out; therefore, he receives a slow, and painful death. Metaphorically, this represents the feelings that are eating him away to the point that it’s killing him. 

Also, the seven swords possibly relate to the tarot card, Seven of Swords. When the card is upright, it represents theft, betrayal, deception and trickery. But when it’s reversed...hm.

Summary: Aconitum (also called Wolfsbane) signifies caution, treachery and full on misanthropy (to have hatred or distrust of humankind). It looks like that Azul is quite upset and frustrated at himself, and is bleeding out some kind of black goo...or he’s just going insane. 

He’s also looking at us fully instead of sideways. This means he’s no longer hiding back, hiding his inner desires and accepting who he fully is, a ████████ .

Summary: Ah, the backstabber has a longer version of Hyacinthus. Nice!

Jokes aside, Jamil is quite an intricate guy - if not, the most detailed character in terms of hidden clues. His side face means he’s not showing his full nature, and is suppressing these emotions within himself. Out of all the characters present characters, Jamil’s halo has been broken the most. This could represent his patience or sanity reaching its breaking point.

His mask has an eye that is sown shut. Since the eye is used to see, or to have a clear vision of something, this means that he is unwilling to open his eyes and see the truth. Though, with that veil clouding his expression - is he really blinding himself from the truth?

Summary: Our queen and angel of the sky, Vil. Though he may be last, he certainly is not least. Strangely enough, his crown is not worn properly on his head. This could signify his authority being taken away, causing him to lose his throne. His face is dyed in some substance, that’s eating away at him like skin. 

Just like Jamil, his face is to the side; although, he does not look as confident as Jamil. His expression seems quite hesitant. Though, his back is in a terrible shape, suggesting some serious physical abuse. Also, what’s strange is that he’s not wearing his regular bright clothing...how strange.

I finished the song around when I released Mystque I believe...

...And honestly Hyacinthus is a B O P, I’ve been listening to it three weeks in a row now, and I hope it will for you!

Bet you’re not, I’m not either. And honestly, it’s been a fun ride of mystery - but it ends here and now. 

Also I’m cutting this hecka short cause my whole story got deleted.

Poor, poor Jamil - ever since you four realized his crimes, his true intentions...he didn’t know what to do.

He lost it. 

He lost the game of life.

Like he always does.

But this, no...this...

This was all because of you.

You. You were the one who figured it out all his lies, his very façade. Well, not without the help of some very gracious spirits. 

A smirk fell upon the spirit’s lips in victory.

Jamil was finished.

“Well, well, well...it seems as though my suspicions are correct. So please - don’t run away.” The spirit shifted his bloodied glasses before continuing. 

“It would be a shame to see such a spirit become as pathetic and disgusting as a human.” 

Immediately, a panicked spirit with ivory hair and velvet eyes darted over to Jamil, holding both of his dirty, scarred hands. 

“Jamil...they’re....they’re lying...right...?” Kalim chuckled nervously. “I know they are...” He clutched Jamil’s hands more firmly, waiting for a response. 

The ebony-haired spirit gazed at the ground, his head lowered in defeat.

“....” 

“Jamil...I know you’re scared, but...please answer me...I-I know as long as we have that promise-”

“What promise?”

“....Jamil-”

Swiftly, Jamil clutched Kalim’s head gently, and his eyes engrained deep into Kalim’s soul.

“Ah. That stupid promise. The promise that could - I don’t know - KILL US if we were so much of a mile of each other?!?”“ His hold on him continue to grow more tightly. “That promise that basically TRAPS anyone and everyone in this godforsaken mess?”

“J-Jamil...” Kalim stuttered, tears flowing from his eyes. His words hurt, but as soon as he caught a glance of Jamil’s face, he gasped n horror.

Jamil’s dark eyes were now filled with spirals of burgundy, and his tears were dripped in black ink. White snakes slithered and slumped around Jamil’s shoulder, and his breath became slow and hollow.

Steadily, he raised Kalim’s chin. “Are you finally going to give me what I want? “ He paused, before giving the spirit a malicious grin. “Yes...you will.” Gently, he caressed Kalim’s face and hair. 

“J-Jamil....W....why....” Kalim said as his puffy eyes became dull and lifeless, captivated by the gaze Jamil made upon him.

“Because as long as you live, Kalim - my suffering will be eternal. That promise will be eternal...”

He shivered and cackled in delight, before smiling at trio and you. 

“...unless death do us part, right?”

Jamil’s overblot...

When I look at this, he seems....genuine? And that’s what scares me...

This was between Tuesday and Thursday when I was busy setting up his design.

Hyacinthus Art Process! (Part Two)

Continuation of Art Process Below!

Step Five: Shading

THERE’S THE OVERBLOT- 

I started this one around the same day, October 22nd, 2020 -12:13 PM 

This time I added darker colors such as black and dark brown to give that f o r m 

As usual, I prefer this over the final product! I don’t know why-

Anyways for the following here’s what I used:

Robes - I used a light red or pink (same applies to the fingernails and the Hyacinths), + black to darken some of the areas

Skin-  Dark brown and a tiny pink 

Hair - Dark brown and black

Veil - Black

White stuff on his arm - Orange + hints of blue 

Upper Body - Light, light blue

Thingy holding his hair - Orange + hints of pink

Neck - Dark yellow + bits of orange 

Neck - Diamond - Dark blue!

Neck - Pearls (Blue stuff on neck) - Dark green (unsure, but hecka likely)

Thing on his Head - Orange + Light, light blue

Hyacinths - Red-purple...? (Unsure)

Chest - Orange + Blue + Red (blue and red particularly on the patterns)

Jewelry - Used bits of orange and light, light pink

Note: I made sure that I didn’t darken it too much so it would lose its color and keep your eyes on that p r i z e.

Step Six & Seven: Final Background + Dark Red Lineart+ Highlights

HEHEHEHEHEHEH (October 22nd, 2020 - 1:51 PM)

Unlike the past albums, I would try to highlight the characters in the album but then I asked myself,

“Shouldn’t Overblots be different? Such as...mysterious?”

And that’s when I started to derive my whole goal (I actually didn’t have a full idea now that I think about it) and made the whole art piece go down the drain. 

I still love it as much as much as Lupine (in terms of music) and Mystique (in terms of art), but I think the background and highlights really brought the piece down altogether. 

Back to the subject - Unlike my other albums where I used multiple pieces of lineart to make it look static, I used a full solid layer of red, blue and three layers of black to give this result of a darkened layer.

Plus, I only used one layer (so 1 copy of the lineart) in a dark red in the exact same position as the original lineart, and just made it slightly noticeable for you guys to see (in this case, you can’t).

As for the highlights, I used two of the black layers to highlight the jewelry and his skin, so that it can be seen and embellish the painting above.

Step Eight: Darker Effect + Title -> Final Piece!

Oh yeah I added a darker effect cause I want it to be super ominous-

No seriously! For Step Seven I felt like it was a little too revealing for an Overblot, so I made it darker to add the ominousness and mystery of Overblots! Also I needed to put the title somewhere-

Meanwhile, I’m really happy that I went out of my comfort zone for this album, and especially how Jamil looks here (kind of). 

Though, just because it’s out of my comfort zone doesn’t mean I can’t do any better. 

I’ll definitely strive to do different types of stuff for the Overblots. So yeah! 

After this album, I’ll likely do a character design sheet of Scarabia, and finish requests in my inbox! There’s more stuff coming up, so please - stay tuned and continue along this weird thing of an AU.

Hyacinthus Art Process! (Part One)

ART PROCESS BELOW!!! (forgive me if I’m salty, I was looking for the link for Step One for almost HALF AN HOUR)

Also end and forgive me I made the bunning Hyacinthus PURPLE. Luckily I change it but S T I L L I’m ANGRY ABOUT IT

Step One - Rough Draft

Okay! So I started this album around October 20th, 2020 on a Tuesday (lol).

When I was thinking of the song (while doing the covers of the last two), I really wanted to show that power and desperateness of Jamil (and how he indulges and relishes in it). I remembering see this pose by yama_kome and I really liked how they represented Jamil’s overblot. 

Ever since I saw this incredible piece of art, I wanted it to be done in this kind of way. Now, since I’m releasing covers of Scarabia (Mystique and Cardenalia), I decided to do it this time for his overblot. 

Besides, I wanted to change things up a little bit!

This took me a while to get (almost a day I believe?), but when there’s a will - there’s way. 

Just to let you know: I was originally going to name the song Hyacinth but if you say all the Scarabia Trilogy’s Tracks in order - it wouldn’t sound right. So that’s why I changed it to Hyacinthus. 

Secondly, I feel like if you say a flower’s scientific name than its common name - it gives that effect of a beginning, of a source and of an origin. I feel like the Overblots are a representation of their true feelings and emotions (in this case, Twisted Wonderland) so that’s partly the reason why I changed it as well.

Step Two - Rough Lineart

This dang lineart took me till Thursday, October 22nd. Here’s why.

1. I COULDN’T WING IT THIS TIME - there was a lot going through my head as well as references about what I wanted him to wear. Other ideas popped into my head such as, “Should I add some blot there?” or “What should I do for the shirt?”. 

So many ideas, but few were added.

2. The DESIGNS. - So many interpretations and stuff were everywhere, and they all looked good. But the problem was the amount of time to put such beautiful details. That killed me.

To sum up one and two, my brain for ideas went brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-

Steps of Lineart (at the top of my head - yes. I don’t write this in the time I’m doing it because it slows me down lol):

1. Face (was done already) - more specifically the side profile to the neck

2. Nose Piercing (yE-)

3. Mouth Piercing (hOt-)

*4. Braided Hair (*dies*)

*5. Veil on Face (then the pattern waaaaaay after)

*6. Dazzling-Jewelry-Neck  (more sure about doing the neck first, but #6 and #7 can be interchangeable)

*7. Snakes (only the right of the art piece though/snakes nearest to braids or plaits)

8. Upper Body

9. Robes 

*10. Chest

11. Shoulders

12. Right Hand - Fingers

13. Right Hand - Fingernails

14. Right Hand - Palm

15. Left Hand - Fingers

16. Left Hand - Fingernails

17. Veil on Body

18. Ear (YUP, I FORGOT THE BUNNING EAR-)

*19. Snakes (left of Jamil and his beautiful hair strand)

20. Right Earring

21. Left Earring

22. Thing on his head (nope, don’t know the name and I ain’t bothering)

*For numbers 4, 5, 6,7,10, 17 and 19 in particular, I had to do multiple layers to make the detail. I would say:

#4 - Two layers: One for the plaits and one for the line...thingy...

#5 - Six layers: It’s technically two, but I had made multiple to get the pattern I wanted. Sadly, I didn’t achieve it so I decided to stick with the one above.

#6 - Six layers: THE FULL DANG TRUTH. The diamonds were first (1), then the line separating the pearl and diamonds (2), Later the designs of the pearls + rectangular thingies (3), The triangle into multiple triangle thingies were next (4), Soon after was the circles into multiple circles  + Two triangles overlapping each other (5) and then that last bit at the end of the neck (6). 

There’s actually more due to the designs of the diamonds and pearls, but I’m not going that far into memory lane.

#7 - Eight layers: If you count them, that’s how much layers I had to go through.

#10 - Four layers (without counting the two (or three) patterns that you see up there): That darn pattern (1), Them s p i k e s (2), That thing it’s being held up in (3), that pattern near the spiky pattern (4).

#17 - Four layers: Just count, please. Going up and down with my eyeballs is killing me.

#19 - Seven layers: Not as bad (because it’s pretty small), but whatever. (1 - 3) First three ear piercings you see (you may see two though), that tail, long thingy (4) that crap Bubbles wear...them circles (5 & 6), and that diamond. (hehe cATER DIAMOND)

You better read that crap. I took a good while writing it. If you did, you earn my biggest respect and time in the inbox. 

Step Two and a Half: Cleanup WITHOUT the Background 

Ah. The nostalgia. That feeling when you forgot the flower you were supposed to be working on...

Words, text and speech can not even compare to the feeling I had when I rEALiZED, I foRGOT the BUNNING FLOWER-

Step Three: COMPLETE Cleanup

Perfection. Isn’t that nice?

Step Four: Coloring 

October 22nd, 2020 at 11:03 AM...

Immediately when I thought of Jamil I immediately wanted to give him that w h i t e s c h e m e 

The reason why I wanted to was because he hard more darker colors in his normal design, and besides - his power has something related to the meaning of white ;). Anyways, I made sure that the ivory (celestial?) theme continued to flow through the whole art piece. Basically, making this smol boy a goddess-

Also, I was thinking that this Overblot scheme would be his true form or something, but he kept it locked away maybe due to how much it takes up his health. Consider this idea though as 100% “Not-Fully-Developed-But-Getting-There” Idea.

I really wanted them snakes to be white. Sorry not sorry. 

Plus, I wanted that veil black instead of white, but I was way too into it to ever think of that apparently. In particular, them f i n g e r n a i l s. I absolutely wanted Jamil to have that light peach color and all that so I did it! Makes my heart go UwU-

20 Facts About TWSTxDAL! (Part Three)

Note: The following that is non-canon are NOT self inserts. This is just how I thought they would act depending on their personality (this applies to some facts).

(39 & 40) Leona, Ruggie, and Jack have a very rigid relationship but they still care for each other.

(41) Azul despises eating animals, and prefers human meat instead.

Well, Azul doesn’t enjoy seeing animals suffer (since he’s technically an animal himself). He prefers eating human meat cause they have more energy - and so much tastier.

(42) He didn’t originally ate humans, he was (indirectly) taught to by the twins.

Yeah...even though it was his choice - the twins had influenced him to make a choice. At that point, he was more innocent then he was now.

(43) Octavinelle’s data is more restricted than the rest of the dorms.

There is a reason for this is because they’re heavily related to the A.S.Os (Anti Spirit Organizations). Even though they haven’t created world-wide incidents, they have information that could be ruin A.S.Os in general. 

That’s why Octavinelle has an order to be put down, although it hasn’t been successful just yet....

(44) Azul has met Riddle and Trey before.

All will be revealed in Heartslaybul:Memories and Octavinelle:Memories! But first I have to finish this TWSTxDAL project and some song trailers...

(45) Spirits have more than three types of transformations.

(1) Astral Form - This form is the most common for Spirits to be in. These forms contain huge amounts of spiritual energy. This spiritual energy is transformed as a Spirit’s outfit and specialized weapon. 

There are three types of Astral Forms (standardized by the A.S.Os) that Spirits have. You can see this in the song trailers!

(2) Overblot Form - This is the corruption, deranged side of a Spirit’s emotions transformed into physical form. These forms are usually unstable, which causes a lot of spacialquakes and natural hazards to occur.

(3) Subnormal Form - This form is related to Overblot Form. These transformations are very uncommon, and one of the weirdest forms to encounter. However, they are easy to detect than the other forms.

(4) Inverse Form - This form is a midpoint between Overblot and Astral form. Although the form is inexplicable, since almost no Spirit has been witnessed in it.

(46) Azul has encountered Idia before the plot.

I can’t say, since it’s a spoiler.

(47) Octavinelle is a huge spoiler in itself.

I’m gonna have to say, Octavinelle is hard to speak about here. They are crucial to the plot - so I can’t say much.

(48) Azul has a small appetite to Spirits.

Usually on the Spirit eating scale, after humans -> Spirits are next! But this doesn’t increase as much, since humans are still a focus point of hatred and appetite.

(49) Azul actually prefers staying on land than water.

I think this was explained canonically, but Azul prefers staying on land since it has a lot more resources and entertainment. But it is very uncommon for him to do so, since going on land takes a lot of his energy.

(50) Subnormal and Inverse are the hardest forms a Spirit can achieve.

This is because they have to completely change their physical forms. For Overblot, they have to gain tons of negative emotions and energy in one place. These negative emotions and energy corrupt the core, blinding the Spirit in ‘darkness’.

But for Subnormal it requires the Spirits to transform their core while Inverse requires them to transform their mind. 

Failure to do it properly, can cause the Spirit to corrupt or shatter parts of their core short or long term. If the core is shattered, the Spirit becomes unstable and explosive - they will die within a few days, or hours. If it’s corrupted, they will most likely go into Overblot Form.

If a Spirit is capable of changing into more than two forms, they can easily be considered an extremely dangerous Spirit.

(51) Crowley and Grim will most likely be in TWSTxDAL.

If anyone’s wondering! :D

(52) Another term for Subnormal is Outer Form, another term for Inverse is Inner Form.

You know....since Outer is their core (which is physical), and Inner is their core (which is mental).

(53) Spirits have another form - Cosmological Form!

Cosmological - relating to the origin and development of the universe.

This is usually the form that Spirits are unable to achieve unless they are exceedingly powerful - since this requires their negative energy to convert into positive energy. 

To be honest, Cosmological is on the complete opposite of Overblot!

(54) Jade and Floyd do not have weapons, while Azul does.

This is because their weapons are internal (inside the Spirit). 

(55) Azul has a strong dislike towards Rook.

This is NOT canon. But Azul does NOT have a strong dislike because of Rook’s eccentric personality - it’s because of Rook’s meddling and the aura Rook gives off. 

Rook tends to give Azul an omniscient presence more than him - and that disturbs Azul greatly. However, he doesn’t express to the twins until he’s beyond earshot of Rook. 

(56) Azul has met countless Spirits before. At least 25-50 Spirits.

When you’re making deals you need costumers, yes?~

(57) Azul’s glasses are stolen from a human he ate.

I mean what can I say-

(58) Heartslaybul dislikes Octavinelle.

Since Octavinelle has manipulated them countless times in the AU (such as Riddle, Trey, Ace, and Deuce). It makes perfect sense why Heartslaybul is wary of them.

(59) Azul, Jade, and Floyd have a toxic friendship...

You see, just like canon, Azul and the twins have had a shaky start. Each of them have their own rocky trauma to deal with, and they cope with it in different ways.

Sometimes, they bicker and rip each other physically and emotionally apart that it’s quite unpleasant to watch. It’s a form of dominance, a form of sadistic pleasure to them. In this AU, they are much harsher and ruthless to deal with because of the stuff in their past.

At first, it was hard for Azul to understand (since he was the newbie); but eventually he learnt how to withstand a conversation with them. Sometimes, there would be complete silence between Jade and Azul; and other times there would be babbling nonsense between Floyd and Azul.

To sum it up, it’s literally 3 Spirits trying not to go insane.

(60) ...but they still protect and look out for each other.

They do look out for each other, but all of them try to be as subtle as possible about it. 

Azul gives Jade space when he needs it when they get into an argument. Sometimes, he lets Jade take his meal when he needs it. 

For Jade, he gives Azul space when he needs it, but watches him from afar to make sure he stays safe. At times, Azul can be pondering a bit too much, making Jade easily bored. As a result, Jade forces Azul to mess up his words with tongue-twisters/tricks or force him to get into trouble, just to make sure he’s alive and intact.

Floyd loves Jade as much as Jade loves Floyd, and it’s shown when they battle together. Their movements are in sync, and they always try to add a little spice to their fun. Even some of their brutal fights can be considered as a way of expressing their love for each other. 

As for Floyd and Azul, they send lots of mixed signals, but some are a bit more direct. For example, Floyd sometimes forces Azul to have an eating contest, or suddenly try to land a hit on Azul. In other words, Floyd tries to find a competition for Azul to get into. And if Azul wins he’ll go out and fish for Azul’s favourite food (that is...IF he’s in the nicest mood ever). 

On the other hand, Azul helps Floyd to cope by physically or mentally challenging him when the eel’s a bit down and upset. And every now and then, Azul helps Floyd carry out his weird pranks on Jade and some humans, which keeps both of them entertained.

Overall, like Savanaclaw, they rely on unpredictability, entertainment, and common trust. They don’t mind secrets, tag-alongs or mind games. As long as it isn’t detrimental or put one of them in danger, they don’t mind (well...other than Azul). 

Secondly, Betrayal is fair-game, but boredom is a death sentence. You must always give them something emotionally tangible, something worth their time. 

If not...well. You’ll be the main course instead.

Anyhow.

Crocus - Represents dignity, pride and success. Also represents joy and cheerfulness, and the return of spring.

The final and last track I’ll be ever be making 2020 (still December 31st, 2020 over here)- and the second track of Pomefiore, Agapanthus! 

I must say, this track is by the far the most difficult track to make musically and artistically! 

Also when I was doing the quote for Agapanthus I was thinking of “Even if people wither like flowers”, but I think that it contradicts Vil’s personality so I had to do “Even if people dry up like potatoes” XDDDDDD

If I’m going to be honest - I’m not really proud of this track and its art altogether - but I am absolutely proud of the effort I made! I really hope it gets recognized though.

But like all things - its temporary. It’ll pass away. 

The Concept of the Track - Agapanthus: 

Boy Agapanthus was a monster to make.

I was really frustrated from trying to depict Vil’s character musically. Since #1, Vil is barely known (since Pomefiore’s chapter just started), and #2 - Vil isn’t a favorite for me.

Though, I knew the ideas I was going for Vil - a waltz, regal kind of music (like battle music!). I also knew that I had to use some synths and instruments that were applied in The Aphrodites. I didn’t expect to use a Organ and a Glockenspiel though!

I wanted to achieve a powerful, posh kind of battle music showing Vil’s tenacity and upholding personality. But I realized everyone has a gentle and calming side - even Vil.

Not gonna lie, I thought this song was way too good for Vil that I almost pushed this as Vil’s Overblot Theme! But I realized that it’s too soft and serene for an Overblot, so I changed it (and I so glad that did!!! :D).

There was so many images flashing through my mind about this song - and in the end I loved it! I admire how it shows the strong and kinder signs of Vil. The soundtrack sounding loud - soft - then loud again (along with the soft parts helping out the loud bits!).

I also liked how the instruments from the loud and soft sections helped accentuate the last parts of the song - the ending leaving the song on an ominous note.

Anyways.

Imagery and Ideas From Listening to Agapanthus:

In the beginning of the song, I imagine Vil looking into a mirror at his reflection or waving his halos in battle until the lullaby parts. In those lullaby parts I imagine an image of Pomefiore in stained glass at a cathedral till the glitchy part, when later on we transition to him back at the mirror, the mirror shattering and no longer see a reflection of his own...or none at all.

And everything crashes down, and he’s holding his well-toned face in his beautiful hands; hiding his wet, newly-formed tears. Lost in a garden maze of his own creation - covering his face in his knees, trying to seal all those desires of someone helping him.

TWSTxDAL Plot - Continuation!

Warning - long reading ahead!

Hours later the two Spirits finally arrived at their destination, after travelling above the Earth’s calming seas.  

The wintery night transitioned into a scorching, blinding sunrise - forcing the lilac to shield his eyes from the early, morning rays of the sun. The blonde also did the same, pulling his hat to conceal the disturbing light that interrupted his view.

Pearly-white heels and marron, cardinal-ribbon boots stepped on the porcelain tile, the duo waiting patiently near the upstairs windowsill. Within a second, the composite windowsill opened; before hastily closing and securing the grand, sophisticated bedroom.

“Why did you two take so long? I couldn’t even start breakfast without you two.” A firm voice spoke.

“Well, fear not! I have some exciting news to share with you, Roi de Poison.” Rook replied excitedly.

“I see. Epel, head to your room and get dressed. I’ll be downstairs in time to properly start breakfast.”

Biting the bottom of his lip quietly, he silently headed left to his upstairs room; careful to not intervene in the older Spirits’ conversation.

As Epel exited the bedroom a fair-skinned, petite form sat on the lavender, chesterfield sofa; lightly tugging the knots and tangles out of his gorgeous hair.

“As I was saying, Epel and I have discovered some new information regarding some...Spirits.”

Eyes of sangria swiftly glanced at Rook, the figure momentarily halting to a stop.

“I’m listening.”

“When we went to the island for training, we met two Spirits and an Invidaé.”  

His eyes slightly widened in belief. “Hmpf. An Invidaé? Impossible. A human cannot last that long under such intense circumstances.” 

“That’s the thing - they’re human. Besides, they already lost consciousness as soon as we came near them. Luckily, I stepped in and offered a price that they could never deny.”

“What was the price, per say?”

“If they tell us all the information regarding Spirits - we will give them the antidote in return.”

“And the antidote was made by Epel?”

“Of course.”

Short locks of blondish-mauve covered his neck, and a lovely blanched tank top covered his well-toned muscles underneath. Well-cut fingernails were polished meticulously; the polish glittering sublimely under the glaring rays of the sun. Elongated, onyx sportswear perfectly shaped his curves - displaying his fit, and slender body.

A full-length oval mirror reflected eyes of sangria, showing a stunning and enticing figure of beauty.

“Excellent job, Rook - as expected of you. You can go now and get ready.” He paused. “And just a reminder - I don’t like waiting.”

Gracefully, he stood up from the plushy sofa - staring at his reflection before him. The morning light warmed his elegant complexion. 

A complexion of the most fairest and the most beautiful of them all - Vil Schoenheit.

20 Facts About TWSTxDAL! (Part One)

Hello! This is my Christmas Eve + Christmas present to you all! I wish you all a Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas - and if you don’t celebrate it - a WONDERFUL, CALMING holiday!

Note: The following that is non-canon are NOT self inserts. This is just how I thought they would act depending on their personality.

(1) Riddle has a sweet tooth.

He not only eats strawberry tarts and mont blanc, but desserts such as apple dumplings, cherry pie and cheesecake! 

(2) Riddle loves Earth. 

He is incredibly reverential towards Flora and Fauna - and always admires and reflects deeply about their functions, roles, their unique beauty, and how these organisms impact the Earth.

 (That is why in the TWSTxDAL scenario, Heartslaybul gives random, not-so-flashy gifts)

(3) Riddle doesn’t like eating meat.

I mean...Riddle has to, (and he admits, it tastes amazing) - but thinking about how their lives were cut short...Riddle does his best to give back to the Fauna on Earth.

(4) Trey is NOT a childhood friend.

Well, technically not in this AU! They only met each other under different circumstances.

(5) Deuce and Ace like hot and fried foods.

A most notable craving of theirs. They annoy the heck out of you if you don’t give them their favorite food every single day of the week.

(6) Heartslaybul is well-known compared to other dorms. 

  In this AU, information about spirits is rare, or priceless - especially in the public eye. Dorms such as Savanaclaw - Diasomnia are not well known or well informed publicly, and only known by Anti-Spirit Organizations privately. 

The only information the public has received is Heartslaybul (as well as their codenames and level), so that A.S.Os doesn’t cause worldwide panic. 

Though, some members disagree with keeping the rest of the spirits a secret, since they believe hiding the truth is worse than saying it. Even then, it is still generally a hot topic/controversial discussion in A.S.Os. 

(7) Spirits have a fixated appetite or cravings. 

Kind of late saying this, but when Spirits eat, they always have a favorite food group that they like. This applies to all spirits who eat human food → Spirits themselves.

(8) Trey likes vegetables more than sweets. 

Like before, Spirits have cravings. Trey likes eating vegetables, but can’t cook them. Luckily, you’re able to buy a veggie cookbook with the little amount of money you got. 

(9) Cater likes spicy foods.

I mean this is already canon, so- 

(10)  Cater and Trey encountered each other before they met Riddle. 

Note that I said ‘encountered’ instead of ‘met’. Cater and Trey were in danger when they met, so there was no time for talking. 

This will be further specified in Heartslaybul: Memories, well...if that ever happens at this rate.

(11) Cater and Riddle are competitive bookworms.

 Seems rather strange, but Cater is more of a social media bookworm, while Riddle is a literature bookworm. 

Every now and then, Cater and Riddle would discuss a certain book to enjoy and discuss to MC, Grim and the Heartslaybul group to flaunt their knowledge. Most of the group doesn’t enjoy it.

(12) Heartslaybul is horrible at teamwork.

Heartslaybul is by far the worst in terms of teamwork. Riddle is more authoritarian, while Cater is laid-back and Ace and Deuce is more rebellious. 

Usually, Trey has to calm the whole team down while not getting killed or receive damage in the process. Fortunately, thanks to Heartslaybul meeting you the team has been a lot more organized and composed.

(13)  You meet Grim’s overblot first, then Heartslaybul after.

There is a reason why, but you won’t get that information here! Plus we skipped the Prologue/Introduction + Chapter One lol...

(14)  A.S.Os were created 3 - 6 years after the Cosmos Incident. 

Most of the human population were still recovering from the Cosmos Incident, but thanks to a sudden increase in agriculture - it has become much better! 

Now that the whole human population understand and adapt to the situation, basically humanity is stressed, angered, confused or have gone mad. A lot of humanity was enraged at how Spirits stole away their loved ones by the spacialquake or starvation. 

And so, countries formed organizations (local, national, to global) of A.S.Os to increase security and pacify stress (of it ever happening again). 

Some people joined due to unemployment, some as a form of revenge, and others out of genuine or scientific interest. But ALL recruits had to thoroughly had to go through harsh and lengthy training to be apply for the job. 

Besides, nobody wants unreliable people to protect and serve their country.

The job takes a minimum of 2 - 3 years of training, which is why A.S.Os take years to formulate.

If I get either a request about the Cosmos Incident and/or A.S.O, it’ll be likely that I will post more information about it more frequently.

(15)  Riddle’s codename is ‘Princess’. 

 If you read somewhere on my blog about Riddle’s codename is ‘King’, well - I’ve changed it due to plot reasons. If you’re curious, somebody else has taken that title. 

Other than that, it is a reference Tohka Yatogami - since she was the first ever Spirit Shido Itsuka (the MC) saved in Date A Live. 

But in this case, Riddle is the first spirit YOU ever saved. Heartslaybul is the first Spirit group you’ve ever saved.

(16) Spirits have an Astral form.

This isn’t necessarily important to the story, but I think it was fun to add it here (＾∀＾).

Astral is more of their starry form, since Spirits are connected to the stars! So in this case their forms are more celestial-like!!!

(17)  Spirits have cores. 

When a Spirit is formed after the death of a star, Spiritual energy has to be compressed and chemically bonded together in order to physically form a Spirit. 

However due to the rapid compression and fusion of spiritual energy, there are remains of crystallized, unstable, and scorching HOT spiritual energy in the Spirit’s body.

Normally, due to the core being flaming hot, the Spirit wakes up and takes its first ‘breath’ in space before trembling or clenching their fists in pain.

Sometimes, they punch or kick the aching area, but that usually never works.

Often, the cores cool down about 20-180 days in space. It mainly depends on the size and how unstable the core is. 

(18) There’s a religion (cult?) based around Spirits.

Maybe you’ll find that information somewhere, at the right time.

(19) Most identified Spirits live in rural areas. 

There is multiple reasons why they do this. 

1: Less crowded. Not a lot of Spirits like being around humans in general, thanks to being traumatized or not interested at them at all. For the traumatized, they know they’ll be murdered if they’re found out.

2: Better hiding places! Spirits have to hide in order to not get found out and killed. Besides, some Spirits don’t want to be alongside humans e.g Azul, Jamil and Leona. 

3: “Easy prey.” (quoted by Leona) The less amount of humans and security, the better the chance for Spirits to snatch their food. Food such as human food, humans in general, and even Spirits themselves. The higher the food chain, the more rare and harder it is to find.

So yeah, rural areas are MOSTLY perfect for Spirits.

(20) Spirits are physically hotter than humans. 

I mean yeah, they’re hot as hECK- Anyways, yes - usually humans are 36.5–37.5 °C (97.7–99.5 °F) according to Wikipedia, but Spirits are actually 3 - 6°C/ °F higher than humans. This is because of their core. 

A spirit’s core is unstable, and due to their unstableness - causes heat. A core is the most heated part of a Spirit’s body, and thanks to that it increases their body heat.

That’s one of the reasons Spirits are easily able to be detected by A.S.Os, and it is a common, and cheap indicator used worldwide.  It is absolutely mandatory for all schools to have a pyrometer, thermometer, or any heat indicator. This is most commonly used in Mana Schools and Spritual Energy Schools (SES). 

If a human is sick or falls ill with a fever, the parent(s) or guardian of the child must contact their local A.S.O + their doctor to inform them of the illness before the child is considered absent. 

In terms of priority, the A.S.O must be contacted first before their doctor. This is the policy. 

Though country-wise, they use a thermometer. Not a lot of people in rural areas check a lot compared to the urban cities, so it is likely for Spirits to get away with it.  For further questions about SES, Mana Schools, and Cores - please try my inbox! I am happily open for discussion!

20 Facts About TWSTxDAL! (Part Two)

Note: The following that is non-canon are NOT self inserts. This is just how I thought they would act depending on their personality (this applies to some facts).

(20) Leona’s codename is ‘Prince’. 

No reference here! That’s just his codename given to the Anti-Spirit Organizations worldwide (also my preference).

(21) Cores can be located anywhere on the Spirit. 

Some Spirits have their cores located on the centre of their forehead, neck, and stomach. It can even be in unusual places such as their teeth, and fingernails. 

However, this makes it more difficult for Spirits to be killed - since you have to damage and destroy the core completely. This can kill the Spirit almost INSTANTAENOUSELY. 

(22) Leona’s core is on his right shoulder. 

(23) Leona eats and craves meat, and maybe some humans. 

Leona enjoys meat in general (canonically true), but very rarely does he eat humans. However, this is extremely rare for Leona - since his cravings haven’t changed much (in present time).

(24) Leona hates humans, AND spirits - NO exceptions.

Not gonna lie, he treats everyone aggressively and harshly. You have to earn his respect - nobody’s special in his eyes.

When Leona is amused, he prefers teasing Spirits and humans alike and getting Spirits and humans fired up in general. This is mainly his approach in gaining information and testing his spiritual power and the Spirit’s/human’s power themselves (since firing people up can result in physical fights).

(25) Ruggie is a lot more stealthier than Leona and Jack combined.

Trust me - Ruggie is a lot more agile than you think. Due to his Spirit form and his Spirit power, Ruggie can see 2 - 3 miles away from his location as a result. 

And thanks to him, Leona, Jack, and members of Savanaclaw have managed to avoid a lot danger and risk - making him all the more reliable and one of the most important members of the Savanaclaw team.

(26) Leona met Ruggie first before he met Jack.

Don’t worry! It’ll be revealed sooner or later in Savanaclaw: Memories. 

(27) Leona and Ruggie are troublemakers. 

Well, what can I say! They tend to make trouble before and even after you‘ve met them. I would say Ruggie is more of an active troublemaker while Leona prefers undermining and staying in the shadows. 

However, the difference between Octavinelle and them is that Savanaclaw has to fully plan out what they’re doing without going off track (most of the time). Besides, most of their plans involve a whole group to make the plan successful (since Savanaclaw is a group of Spirits).

(28) Savanaclaw is not 3 members (Leona, Ruggie, and Jack) - it’s a whole Spirit group.

The Spirit group consists of 25-50 members, and each of them do what it takes to survive. Many Savanaclaw members came from different backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common - a primal, persevering instinct.

(29) To get into Savanaclaw, you have to pass Leona’s test.

This will be further referenced in Savanaclaw: Memories I believe, but Leona doesn’t want anyone useless and vulnerable in his group. Even though a Spirit or even Leona himself may recommend a candidate - they must pass the ‘Savanaclaw Test’. 

(30) *Leona is not the first leader of Savanaclaw.

Leona’s leadership was passed down by will and by passing the ‘Savanaclaw: Leader Test’. For now, I would say he’s the 3rd generation of the Savanaclaw group.

* - Take this fact with a grain of salt. May change in the future.

(31) Jack can adapt to cold environments more than Leona and Ruggie combined.

There’s a reason why! But I’m not sure if I can just say it just yet.

(32) Leona has encountered Rook before.

OHOHOHO! This one’s definitely a spoiler here. There will be a bit more detail about this in Savanaclaw: Memories - but not in full detail. You’ll have to wait and see...

(33) Ruggie and Jack actually hated each other before they got along.

They don’t know why themselves! But I think partly the reason why they despise each other so much is that they have completely different mindsets into getting what they want. 

For example, Ruggie would sneak and lie - while Jack would ask and say the truth.

This could apply to Leona, but Jack holds more respect for Leona than Ruggie since Leona is the leader of the group (that isn’t to say that he doesn’t respect Ruggie).

(34)  Ruggie is a pretty good liar, Leona is a harsh, ‘mean’ Spirit, while Jack is a polite, honest one.

I mean this is kind of canon-

Ruggie will lie if necessary, Leona can be mean both ways - such as just being cruel to Spirits or humans that get in his way, or ‘tough love’. Tough love meaning, “Stop talking to me about your problems and just fix it. I’m tired.” kind of response.

Jack is honest, but he’ll be polite about it to a certain extent. Honestly, Jack means well canonically and in the TWSTxDAL series in general.

(35) Leona has a soft spot for Savanaclaw/Leona’s comfort zone is the Savanaclaw group.

Leona as its leader and as a member of the group, has been with Savanaclaw throughout. Even though he hates to admit it, he is indebted to them for protecting and raising him to be who he is now.

(36) Members of Savanaclaw speak their own language.

To be more specific, their own language originated from the 1st gens, or the “Primes”. The Primes created a spoken language as a way to strengthen their bonds as members of the Savanaclaw tribe. Therefore, the tradition has been passed on till present time.

(37) Most - if not all - of the Primes have passed away, or have stayed at their members’ tombstones.

Kind of sad, but yes - most of the Primes have passed away ever since they were murdered by the A.S.Os (Anti-Spirit Organizations). So, most of the Primes either remove themselves away from the Savanaclaw group completely, stay with their lost friends, or go in a frenzy (Overblot stages). 

In present time, there are many myths about what happened to the Primes - but most of them have died off or have corroded (this is under extremely hot conditions), starved or killed off by A.S.Os (normal conditions), or turned to stone (under extremely cold conditions). 

As for their cores, they either dissipate into a form of an acid (hot conditions), taken by A.S.Os for experimentation (normal), or dissipate into the permafrost and the soil itself in the form of a plant, tree, flower or even a fruit or vegetable.

(38) Jack is STILL the newest member of the Savanaclaw tribe. 

And the members still tease him for it.

(39) Leona, Ruggie, and Jack have a very rigid relationship...

You see, Leona, Ruggie and Jack have known each other for a while, but they haven’t had a friendly relationship. It’s more of ‘survive-or-die’ relationship. 

For example, if circumstances arise and the situation risks their survival - Leona or Ruggie or Jack will leave one another no matter what. Both have compromised that if it’s for their safety, they’ll understand - whether they want to die or not.

However in return for leaving them, the other must protect themselves (and others) and must NOT die in the process - so that they can accomplish and complete the will of their former comrade. 

Once the will is done, the living Spirit must return to the other’s place of death and give their farewells before leaving on their own accord. 

This mindset is very much common amongst Savanaclaw members. Though, it can change depending on the circumstances. 

(40) ...but they still care for each other.

Sometimes, Ruggie intentionally lies not for his own gain but for protecting Leona and Jack.

Sometimes, Leona intentionally fights Ruggie and Jack in a bad mood in order to help them cool down and ease their problems. 

And sometimes, Jack confronts and speaks to Leona and Ruggie honestly about good and bad points of view to avoid huge risks and danger, even if Jack doesn’t want to say anything or isn’t involved whatsoever.

They all mean well, and would do things in the moment without their friend’s consent for the survival of their whole team, even if they get mad about it. 

This kind of relationship also fuels their ideology of ‘the thrill of the hunt’; which keeps their relationship pleasant and surprising.

So basically - their relationship relies on unpredictability and instinctual trust and growth. As long as you don’t hide secrets, and have no borders but acceptable boundaries - the relationship will continue to thrive - because being straightforward, bold, and determined is key.

In a way, this can correlate to Octavinelle’s relationship, but there are a lot of differences in comparison to Savanaclaw. I will go into detail about Octavinelle’s relationship in the next 20 facts!

Cardenalia: Lyric Analysis!

To all those theorists who want confirmation, here you go! Note that this is unedited. Long post below!

Verse One:

Silk laced with poison – ‘poison’ is in reference to Pomefiore’s chapter and the Evil Queen, when she poisoned Snow White.

The apple falling from the tree – The apple in this case is a second reference to Pomefiore, or more specifically Epel. 1Since apples only fall when they’re either fully grown or decayed, this is in reference to Epel leaving his hometown, entering a new environment – specifically Pomefiore.

It can also imply how 2Vil is raising Epel to be of a higher standard of beauty.

The wheel of fortune – 1In eastern cultures, there is a spiritual rebirth known as ‘reincarnation’ – or in this case, the cycle (also reference to the term ‘Lottery of Life’).

The Wheel of Fortune is based on people being separated and sorted into groups of status or wealth as they are born. Some humans believe that this is permanent till the day you die or be ‘reborn’ once again.

Has not been kind to me – (The following is more focused on the term ‘Lottery of Life’).

1Jamil believes that he has been deemed ‘unlucky’ and feels that he has lost the wheel of life from the moment he was born. As a result, this affects parts of his life such as his wealth, his family, his job, his wishes and desires, as well as his environment.

All these hands are crawling on me, crawling on me – The following is mainly based on Canon Jamil.

1This is in reference to when the members of Scarabia are constantly bombarding him with tasks and jobs. Jamil is tired of the huge, overwhelming responsibility carried on his shoulders as Vice Dorm leader. He internally feels mentally drained and in distress about it.

2This can include TWSTxDAL Jamil as well, since his power is reliant on Kalim’s power – which involves helping the people and environment around him. Without Jamil, Kalim’s power will be imbalanced and spiral out of control (he may even overblot because of that).

3Thanks to that, he feels like he is pressured and forced to comply with Kalim’s desires – without gaining anything satisfying or desirable from Kalim in the process.

4This can also be applied to Canon Jamil as well!

Time seems slow when I am struggling, I am struggling – 1Jamil feels like his pain of being in an everlasting bond with Kalim is filled with never-ending suffering. Additionally, he feels like his happiness and joy are short and brief – while his suffering lasts much longer and slower.

2This can also be in reference to Canon Jamil, in terms of him serving Kalim.

Desperate, I try to reach out to your hand – 1Jamil is reaching out constantly, begging for a way out of this suffering of feeling below or inferior to Kalim. In this line, he is hanging on to the last remains of hope that Kalim will realize of the eternal bond they are in.  

2This can also be in reference to Canon Jamil, hoping that Kalim is aware of the dark side of him being a slave to Kalim.

What is with that smile? – This is in reference to Kalim’s bright and cherry innocence. As a result, when Kalim smiles to Jamil – Jamil is deeply hurt, frustrated and irritated - comprehending that Kalim still is naïve and unaware of the ongoing situation between the two of them.

2This can also be in reference to Canon Jamil.

Chorus:

Keep on singing, Cardenalia – 1Jamil is mocking Kalim and his actions, pretending to be supportive of Kalim and continue to be on his side. Instead, this implies Jamil manipulating and controlling Kalim to achieve his goal of freedom.

This is also referencing of Kalim’s innocence – of Kalim himself being stuck in his own ‘bubble’.

2This is in reference to Canon Jamil as well.

Keep on dancing, dancing backwards – 1In a way, Jamil is telling him to continue to act stupid/dumb of the bond they share. This in relation to Jamil being manipulative and mocking Kalim.

2Can also be in reference to Canon Jamil.

In my womb – 1In a mother’s womb – the baby I given the nutrients needed to grow as well as protection; while risking the mother’s life as a result. This can be applied to Jamil, but instead without nurturing and emotionally caring for Kalim as an individual.

2Additionally, this can be an insult to Kalim being naïve and useless – since a baby can only grow and cannot carry responsibilities or help themselves.

3Thirdly, this is in reference to Kalim being stuck in Jamil’s ‘trap’ or ‘bubble’, where he controls or monitors Kalim’s actions like a doll. In other words, Kalim is the puppet while Jamil is the puppeteer/mastermind.

4This can be taken as reference to Canon Jamil as well.

(I hate you) – This is towards Kalim, and in secret. That is why the brackets are applied.

Verse Two:

Same room, same time – 1This is based on when Yuu (You), Grim and Octavinelle were present with Scarabia (Canon Jamil).

2This can also be based on the TWSTxDAL story, when Yuu, Grim (somehow…?) and Octavinelle met Jamil and Kalim for the first time. In this case, the ‘room’ would be more so a ‘hideout’.

My eyes are dyed with jealousy – This is rather vague (since this can be interpreted in many ways). I will try to consider all the possibilities.

1Jamil is jealous of Azul – The fact that Azul is able to free and able to express his desires or ulterior motives without hesitation or restraint.

2Jamil is jealous of Kalim – This can be carried canonically or not.

Canon Version: Kalim allows Octavinelle into the Scarabia dorm, even though Jamil is against it. He despises how Kalim can be so carefree without carefully thinking of his actions – since Octavinelle is known for being mischievous and duplicitous.

TWSTxDAL version: The same is applied to here, but Jamil is unfamiliar with Octavinelle and Yuu (or is he?) since he meets you five in person as a group.

Kalim is a lot more open to visitors (since he barely receives none), and is annoyed and envious of how Kalim is ignorant of the dangers and risks of his new and unacquainted guests.

3Jamil is jealous of Kalim (2) – In general, Jamil is jealous of Kalim of winning the ‘Lottery of Life’ so easily without hard-work or dedication. He is given everything on a golden platter, without Kalim questioning the circumstances or the origin of the reward.

This can be applied to TWSTxDAL Jamil, except Kalim can use his powers by barely suffering in the process compared to Jamil. Though, it usually depends on who uses their power more (which is usually Kalim).

“Please stop” you ask me – ‘You’ can be the following:

1Yuu/You – Yuu is usually in charge of helping dorms and their Overblots. Indirectly, you are telling Jamil to stop accomplishing any sinister plans ahead of time.

2Kalim – This is based on when Kalim is under the Unique Magic ‘Snake Whisper’. Even though he doesn’t recognize he’s under hypnosis, I believe he would’ve reacted this way instead.

3Himself – Jamil has a sense of fear and worry that he’ll be found out, isolated, or no longer considered to be a friend or kind person to Kalim. This can be applied canonically to his dorm members as well.

Note that the context of ‘Himself’ can only be implemented as a one-liner, not with the line ‘To cease the puppetry’.

To cease the puppetry – This can apply to the following:

1Yuu/You – Yuu is telling him indirectly to stop controlling Kalim.

2Kalim – Kalim is telling Jamil to stop controlling him. Though, he is not saying ‘stop’ not for himself but for Jamil and the other members of his dorm. He doesn’t want Jamil to be hurt or affected in the process, even though Kalim himself is being hurt in the process.

In short terms, Kalim is being selfless.

This can be applied to TWSTxDAL, but he would give up his life for Jamil if it meant saving him (even though this is technically not possible). In this case, he is telling him to stop so he can keep the friendship of Yuu, Grim and the other spirits.

Other Spirits – Heartslaybul, Savanaclaw, and Octavinelle.

3Himself & Other – Note that this is an abstract interpretation canonically. This may be applied in the TWSTxDAL AU.

However, instead of Jamil this can be applied to his Overblot toying with him or fate, destiny, or a 3rd party playing with him like checkers. 4He feels that he is being used in a bigger plan for an unknown motive.

Now my cup is running over, running over – 1The cup is a representation of his luck and success. 2This is a sign of greed, dictatorship and overindulgence. 3In a way, this can be interpreted as him ‘winning’ the ‘Lottery of Life’/gaining control over the situation at hand. This can be interpreted as canonically or not.

You beg with – This can applied to Yuu/You, or Kalim.

Unceasing mercy, unceasing mercy – In reference to him going along with his plans ruthlessly.

Desperate, you try and cling unto my arms saying, - 1In a way, this is reference to the verse, “Desperate, I try to reach out to your hand”. This is ironic since Jamil was crying for help, but now he is the one being cried to.

‘You’ can only be applied to Kalim.

“End my suffering” – 1This is Kalim begging for Jamil to stop. 2However, the term ‘suffering’ is in reference to hurting the friendship of Yuu, Grim and the other Spirits. But canonically, he wants him to stop wounding the friendship of everyone (Yuu, Grim and Octavinelle) and the Scarabia dorm members.

Bridge:

The following lines are only in relation to Jamil himself speaking to everyone, but more specifically to Kalim.

Hate me – 1He wants Kalim to stop caring for him, since he is hurt thanks to Kalim’s kindness. If Kalim did not care for him so much, he wouldn’t have been betrayed him in the first place.

Kill me – 1Canonically, he knows that if he betrays his master/Kalim, he might be put to death. But he doesn’t care of the consequences – even if his freedom will be death.

Despise me – The same applies to the verse “Hate me”.

You shatter me – 1This is in reference to Kalim breaking his spirit, his hopes and desires. Moreso, Kalim ‘broke’ his ability to be who he wants to be as an individual.

Breaking | Slowly – 1This is when Kalim is ‘breaking’ his patience, his individuality/character, and desires. This can also be in terms of friendship as well.

How could you do this to me? – Jamil is questioning Kalim in this case.

The following lines are only in relation to Kalim responding to Jamil.

Time won’t | Heal all the wounds | I made in you – 1Kalim knows that these ‘wounds’ in these friendships can’t heal the mistakes he made in Jamil.

But let us | Live, learn, grow, and love – 1Kalim still wants them to understand each other’s feelings and restore his friendship, including everyone as well. He wants Jamil to continue living (for himself) and loving each other as best friends.

To the ends of hope, love, and despair – 1Jamil is stating that in good times and bad times, he will be there for Kalim in return; 2thanks to the promise that Kalim made (“Time won’t heal the wounds I made in you, but let us live, learn, grow, and love”).
