Hey star! Me again! How does your starstruck shipganza work? Do we just submit an OC to ship with Starstruck? I'm very much a dumb dumb so I don't know lel

hello boa!! great to hear from you!!

and omg nonono you're not being dumb or anything, i was pretty vague about this previously and only kinda mentioned it off-hand in tags. the idea behind the shipaganza is to help me explore some different dynamics (more or less romantic) with starstruck to see how i feel about shipping her as a whole, and so i was admittedly pretty nervous and wiffle-waffley about it overall.

but if it helps, i am allowing both canon suggestions and OC suggestions for the starstruck dee shipaganza! now that it's a full 'event' i should be more transparent, so here's a few rules!

🎀 any suggested characters must be adults in a suitable age bracket. this goes for OCs and canon characters. consider starstruck dee to be in the 25-35 age range; i think she could smooch into an older bracket, but i would not go younger than this. 🎀 when suggesting OCs, only the creator/owner of the oc can suggest that oc, unless you get clear permission from the creator. if an artist suggests a sona in particular, then for the same reasons as above, i explicitly need the artist to be an adult. 🎀 no nsfw at all. flirty characters are great. bullies are fun (something tonally similar to the marx prompt, for instance). but i have a hard enough time even making the orbs smooch non-platonically; anything else is clearly going to be out of my ballpark. 🎀 very very few of these prompts are going to be considered canon to starstruck's storyline, and i'll specify any that are (such as bandee's). this is even less likely with OCs, though i might be open to that in the future after the event. this event is just for fun and silliness! 🎀 when suggesting OCs, especially if i don't know you or your oc well, please please give me some info about your oc and why you think they'd work. like, would your oc make a move that starstruck fails to notice? are they accidentally dating? do they share an interest? is your oc a hopeless pining romantic, are they a charmer, are they a bully, so on and so fourth! a link to a reference is also good! try to remember starstruck's characterisation when suggesting as well; remember that it's very important that she doesn't get along great with most waddle dees. otherwise i might have a hard time responding to you! 🎀 also... please don't suggest your ocs just because you want me to draw them. i'll likely take more general/platonic oc interaction prompts in the future. please only suggest an oc for this event if you genuinely think you have a fun potential ship dynamic to explore. i am much more likely to draw canon character prompts and ocs from folks who have interacted with me regularly (such as yourself, boa). i'm fairly aware of my regular interactors and of course my mutuals, so i'll be able to tell if people are just popping up out of the woodwork trying to get free art out of me.

this sounds like a lot of rules, but it's mostly just things to keep in mind. i'm more flexible with canon character recommendations because there's a bit more to navigate and get right when it comes to OCs, but i'm none the less willing to ty it out! hopefully it's just something fun and silly i can share with folks to celebrate the month!

It had been a long week for both you and Lando. Despite it being the mid-season break, Lando had still been busy with meetings, promo shoots and with testing. So you weren’t expecting much when you got home from work. You’d exchanged sleepy voice notes about your days, memes and chaotic facetimes of him showing you his and Oscars latest antics at the MTC, but that was pretty much the only times you’d interacted.  

As soon as you stepped through the door, tired and hungry, you didn't expect the smell of home cooking to hit you. No Lando scream laughing at his stream from down the hallway. No text for uber from him earlier in the afternoon or the smell of one of his microwaved prepared meals from his dietician that you’d come to recognise. 

“Lando?” you called out as you pulled off the sneakers from your feet and stepped further into the apartment. The lights were low, music was softly playing from the kitchen and you could hear the faint clattering of pots and pans. 

There he was. Your man, standing at the stove, his damp curls resting against his forehead weaning a hoodie and your apron. His laptop was open, his screen paused on a recipe of your favourite meal. The kitchen? Well that looked like a war zone. 

He turned his head as you walked through the door, cheeks slightly flushed. “Hey babe,” he said so casually as he turned back to stir the pan in front of him. 

“You’re cooking?” you asked, not surprised but just not expecting it. No anniversary, no special occasion. 

“Wanted to surprise you for dinner. We haven’t had a date night just you and me for ages and you deserve it.” 

Your heart clenched in your chest, “baby…” 

“Nope. Don’t use your ‘baby’ voice on me,” he groaned dramatically as he pointed the spatula at you, “I don’t even know if it’s edible yet.” 

You tried to take a peek into the pan to see but he shoved you away quickly, “nope. Not until it’s done. It’s a surprise. And if you see an amazon order for a new vegetable peeler and pan…no you didn’t.” 

You shook your head, not even wanting to know. 

“Also, mum says hi and is Saturday okay for lunch?” 

You laughed, “you called her for help with the recipe, didn’t you?”  

“You can’t prove anything!” 

You had just enough time for a shower and to get into some comfortable clothes when Lando called you to the dinner table. The room was dark, the table filled with candles and a new bunch of flowers in a vase in the middle. Two places were set up opposite each other and on the platte in front of your space sat a meal that looked so damn good. 

“You…you learned to cook my favourite meal?” 

He pulled the chair out for you and pushed it in as you sat down and took the space opposite. 

“Took me three tries to get the sauce right and I had the help from YouTube and my mum. I also cut my finger,” he said as he showed the bandage wrapped around the tip of his index finger, “but yeah. I did.” The grin on his face was so damn cute. Like a kid showing off their artwork at the end of a school day. 

Your heart was full to the brim. He looked so sweet in that moment, his eyes so full of love for you. “Thank you baby.” 

He watched you with anticipation as you picked up your fork and took a bite. You chewed thoughtfully, taking a moment to savour all the flavours and textures. “Oh my god. This is actually so good, Lando!” 

“Don’t sound too surprised!” he replied as he took a bite of his own. He let out a moan and shook his head, “okay. No. This is actually amazing.” 

“Alright, don’t get cocky now,” you laughed. 

He shot you a wink, “too late, call me chef Lando.” 

You shook your head but continued eating the meal. It wasn’t a five-star luxury hotel or Michelin star restaurant, but you had everything you needed and you wouldn’t have traded it for anything.

Almost There

He was so precious. And still so shy, which was silly.

You would think working at a daycare would make me tired of taking care of little ones, but —on the contrary— I found nurturing little ones so fulfilling that I wanted to continue that with my own partner beyond the daycare.

That’s where he came in. He was submissive, suggestible, and childlike in a playful and addictive way. Not to mention adorable!

Today, like most days, I dressed him. Hence the Paw Patrol shirt; a show I know he secretly loves but refuses to admit. I also chose the khakis and belt. He was a silly boy: he refused to let me diaper him, but had no problem with me telling him when he could or couldn’t potty — something that made him feel adorably submissive.

Today I hadn’t let him potty at all, and I’ve been prompting him via text to stay hydrated, which he’s admitted to needing help with anyway. He is a good boy… mostly.

But there’s still some internal resistance, some shame and embarrassment left. Today would be the day I would break him free from all that. He’d be so much happier letting me take care of him like the sweet little diapered boy I know he is deep down. We were almost there — he just needed a little push.

That’s why I had dressed him in the belt to make getting to the potty on time harder. That’s why I had kept him overly hydrated all day and refused ti let him potty. That’s why I had snuck water pills and muscle relaxers into his lunch I packed for him.

That’s why I had asked him to come meet me at the daycare after closing time. And that’s also why his diapers sat piled high in the diaper cubby at the daycare tonight.

That brought us to this moment.

“Hey babe,” he waltzed in, “How was work?”

“Good,” I greeted him with a kiss on the cheek, “How was your day?”

“Also pretty good,” he bounced on the balls of his feet, trying to minimize the obviousness of his potty dance, “But I really have to piss! Can I please go the bathroom?”

“Piss?” I frowned, “You know how I feel about you cussing, baby.”

“S-sorry,” he squeezed his knees together, “Can I please go potty?”

“I don’t know,” I grinned with a touch of sadism, “Big boys should be able to hold it…”

“M-mommy please…” he whimpered.

As if on cue, a wet spot appeared on his crouch and started growing down his pants.

“Oh what do we have here?” I smirked as I lifted the blushy boy’s Paw Patrol shirt, “Looks like someone had an accident. Do you know what we do with kiddos who have accidents at daycare?”

“D-diaper them?” He stuttered. I was happy to see that his accident had the intended affect of blowing away his resistance.

“That’s right; you’re such a smartie!” I grabbed his wrist and his diaper as I dragged him to the changing table, “Now lie still for me, this will only take a minute.”

As expected, he was a good boy, and the diapering was quick, easy, and special. He didn’t stop blushing, even after the diapering.

“Hey sweetheart, everyone has accidents sometimes; you don’t need to feel embarrassed. How about I give you some crayons and a coloring sheet, while I go make you a bottle. Then we can cuddle as I hold you. Would all that make you feel better?”

“Y-yes mommy,” he said shyly. He really was the cutest thing.

I set him up at the toddler-sized table with a coloring sheet and crayons, and he seemed to be consumed by his art. I walked into the kitchenette to start prepping his bottle.

I smiled to myself as I tightened the nipple onto the bottle. Now that he was in diapers, he would never be getting out of them.

Things Said too Quietly

A/N: Feels rather different from what I usually write but I just started typing and this came out so hope people enjoy it. Inspired by Prompt 3 of this ask game

Dazai had snuck into your apartment while you were away again, it seems. He had deliberately left signs for you to know he was there–a familiar pair of black oxfords sat on your welcome mat outside your door, indicating to you what, or who, awaited inside. 

Dazai never seemed to make a habit of letting you know when he was visiting, even when you were away. Yet, despite your annoyance at his behaviour, a spare key to your apartment continues to sit on his keyring, alongside the keys to his apartment. 

He was lying on your couch as usual, eyes closed as if he were asleep. But you knew from experience he wasn’t; he never did fall asleep there. Despite how peaceful he looks, he was always awake, ready to spook you if you dared come too close to him, to examine him closely. You have learnt your lesson one too many times, you are certain you will not let him fluster you once again, you did not want him to catch you admiring his stupidly beautiful face. You know full well he would never let it go; you had already almost let it happen once, and he still would not stop teasing you about it. 

“You really need to stop sneaking into my apartment when I’m away, you know. Or you could at least text me you were coming, so I can expect to see you here,” You sighed, walking closer towards the couch. 

He slowly opens his eyes and turns to you, his bangs falling onto his face. “What fun would that be if you knew I was coming. Besides, if you really didn’t want me here, I am sure you would’ve taken away the spare key by now. And yet, you never did.” He gives you a knowing smile. “Admit it, you enjoy my company.”

You rolled your eyes at his comment, neither confirming nor denying. “What is it this time, Dazai? What brings you over?” You noticed that he had already changed into a pair of sweats, while his trench coat remained draped over the arm of the couch. It seemed he had already made himself cozy, waiting for you.

“Is it so wrong to want to see you?” He asked, amused. 

“For some reason, I don’t believe you.”

He gasps dramatically. “How could you!”

“Says the man who broke into my apartment.”

“Broke into your apartment? You gave me the keys.” He rolls his eyes and smirks knowingly. He knew you had a soft spot for him.

You sighed deeply. “Sometimes, it feels like you’re in my apartment more than yours.” You mumbled. 

Dazai had slowly inched his way into your life, clinging onto your company like a small parasite. Despite your annoyance at him sometimes, there were already signs of him scattered around the apartment… Sometimes, you didn’t even wish to acknowledge how deeply intertwined your lives have become. 

You see signs of him in your kitchen cabinets, where cans of crab were stacked upon one another, ready to be prepared as a snack or a dish in case Dazai was craving something nice that day. Your shelves were lined with several books you discussed together during late nights, or ones he recommended, or a few ones he bought you second-hand because he said they reminded him of you. A large plush blanket draped over your armchair, one you bought in case he wanted something to cover himself with when he comes over to rest, or something you two can snuggle beneath while you watch a movie together. Even your room was not safe from his presence, because now you have a drawer dedicated to storing his clothes, for whenever he comes over. 

“Can you blame me for coming over? Your apartment is so much cozier… so much warmer…” his voice trails off. Warm colours painted the walls, pictures, and artwork lined them, adding a personal touch to them. He could see traces of you in the little trinkets that busy your shelves, the furniture that decorates each room, he could sense you in each corner of the apartment… a strong contrast to his untouched apartment.  

Having thought of death for so long, he wonders if it is even necessary to personalize his living space when he knew he would not stay long… Yet, seeing how alive, how you your apartment is, how different it is compared to his, despite its similar layout, he couldn’t help but be drawn to it, wish to stay in it, be a part of it. He wonders if you would let him.

“What are we?” He hears you mumble softly to yourself while preparing food in the kitchen nearby, it was so soft as if you were not expecting an answer.

Hearing this, his mouth opens slightly–no sound comes out, it was trapped in his throat, in his heart, he could never say it aloud–he closed his mouth shut. He let out a soft sigh and turned his head, pretending not to hear. 

Perhaps some day he will find the courage to answer your question. But for now, he closes his eyes once again. He can only he can continue staying by your side until then.

Turnaround time can be between 2-8 weeks depending on the complexity of the piece! I try to work on things in a timely manner and send regular progress updates. Things like a Character Sheet or Full Illustration will naturally take a longer time to complete than a sketch page or custom emojis.

I typically give updates throughout the commission process at each of the major progress steps.

Payment is done through paypal invoice.

PRICES

Colored Illustration - $60 - Fullbody artwork of a character. Minimal shading. ( +$40 per additional character. Additional cost for full detailed shading)

Character Sheet - $120 - Includes option for informational text, close-up portait of character, alternate outfit, and/or prop.

Sketch Page - $40 - Four to six sketches on a page in the style rendered above.

Custom Emoji - $15 (or 3 for $35) - Can be a character drawn based on a pre-existing emote or something original.

Icon - $30 - Fully shaded head/bust of a character.

Full Illustration - $150-200+ - Priced depending on complexity. A very fun and versatile option for a scene with a character. Loose and artistic style of lines, coloring and shading.

MISC

Props and Backgrounds - I will accept and price these on a case to case basis after discussion about the prop/background. Simple props may be no charge, but depending on the complexity it may cost.

Designing from scratch - Depending on how detailed or difficult the design is, I may charge extra if I am not being provided any reference images for a character. Regardless of extra charge or not, a detailed written description of the character's appearance is needed if there are no references. Pinterest boards or image scrapbooks for fashion/style inspiration are immensely useful but not required!
