I was thinking Tommy is the first love interest of Buck that priorities Buck. Taylor first priority was her job, Abby left, Ally left when Buck didn’t want to quit the job and Natalia only was interested in Bucks death. But Tommy shows up wherever Buck needs him; although he isn’t always on time or dressed up as Buck wanted, but he is there. For Buck. And all Buck needs is to feel mattered. I think that is exactly what Tommy does; he shows Buck how important he is to him by prioritizing him.
