I have started writing two kylux aus and I don't know which one to focus on so help me decide.

—TIME LOOP

First one is a time loop au where Hux is thrown back to the first movie after he gets shot, every time the time loop re-starts he wakes up further and further in the original plot, he tries solving the loop by not dying but eventually he finds out his death isn't the one causing the time loop, it's Kylo's.

The fic starts with Hux going to retrieve Kylo from the collapsing planet, but this time he decides not to. He kills his men and sits next to Kylo waiting for the explosion to take them both. We don't know at that point which time loop it was, but it seemed like a long enough time had passed for Hux to finally try that route, then we get transported to the first time loop and the story begins.

Second one is a role reverse au (kinda) where Hux after getting stuck in the caves of Arkanis has a vision of the Hosnian system destruction and his own death, before managing to get out of there he finds a kyber crystal and upon arriving on the surface he stars hearing a voice that calls itself Snoke.

Years later he's sent on a mission to destroy a camp of young jedi and retrieve an apprentice for his master; Rey Skywalker, unfortunately Ben Solo is not really keen on Hux taking his little cousin away. Hux thinks Snoke should get his priorities straight, because Ben would be much easier to sway away to the dark side.

(Hux is not a Knight of Ren they still exist in the au, but they got dismantled and merged into the First Order. Phasma is a General and Hux is her Co Commander. Rey is Luke's daughter here and Kylo grew up with her, after Hux slaughters their camp Kylo erases her memory and abandons her on Jakku to protect her from Snoke, he himself runs away and becomes a smuggler.)

(The fic then starts much like the first movie did, but Kylo is also on Jakku when the First Order attacks the village and gets captured along with Poe.)

Eddie gets stuck in a time loop but has no idea why, his day is normal, there's not even a test that day that he can use this to pass. After a few time loops he says fuck it let's start doing fun things, starting with talking to his crush, the lovely Fallen King Steve. After a few loops Steve starts talking back, soon there's whole loops with just them hanging out.

Little does Eddie know, Steve is in a time loop too trying to stop the Upside Down once again, he's just having a hard time caring when there's this sweet metalhead chatting him up everyday. Maybe he deserves to waste a few loops.

Megatron and Sam are trapped in a time loop. After a while of repeating the same old nonsense they get bored and start fucking with everyone.

Optimus: Brother return back Sa-

*they're playing uno*

Sam: Shut up op I'm about to win.

Megatron: Foolish squishy. I have calculated every outcome and they all lead to the same conclusion. You will fall by my head.

Megatron: Red 7. Uno.

Sam: Reverse, uno, and I win. Bi-atch.

Megatron: IMPOSSIBLE!! YOU MUST HAVE CHEATED!!!!!

Sam: Don't be salty that you lost dude. Now pay up.

Megatron: *anger noises* Take your filthy money.

*Throws a crumbled up $50 at Sam's face*

Bumblebee: #&--'_#@@ 369"$2??

Optimus: I- have.. no idea.

Optimus: We must find the allspark before Megatron.

Sam: That fucker?! Ugh, not again.

Ratchet: You know Megatron?

Sam: Yeah it's a long story. I know where the glasses are; it is at my house . It's on-

Bumblebee: Hold up, wait a minute, something an't right here.

Optimus: How do you know of him? You are a normal civilian human are you not?

Sam: Not really normal but once again long story I don't want to get into. I'll tell you later.

Megatron: I should have known it would have been you offspring.

Sam: Same here creator.

*Record scratch*

Bumblebee: What did he saaaaaaaay?

Starscream: Excuse my language my lord but what the frag.

Optimus: Has your helm been severely damaged Sam?

The time loop au fuckers have me in a chokehold

(Little detail: every killing blow from past loops leaves a scar. Hence the… jagged mess around her throat. Execution by beheading is not pretty.)

imagine a timeloop au where newt dies and reawakens in the glade, remembering all of the events of before and realising a way to save himself from succumbing to the flare. thomas can’t remember him, but he wastes no time rebuilding their relationship into something stronger than it ever was before.

but, after he injects himself with the cure, something changes.

thomas is the one who dies instead.

so newt stabs himself so he can die and go back to the past again, but no matter what he does or how many times he resets - thomas will always die if newt lives, and thomas can only survive if newt is killed by the flare.

but newt is no quitter. he’s determined to find a timeline where both of them have a happily ever after, no matter how long it takes, and no matter how much blood he loses in the process.

Matt stuck in a time loop that starts over on the day that he dies. The first time he ‘dies’ he wakes up on the morning of and figures it’s just some weird dream he had, but everything is going the way his dream did? Eventually he figures it out after he ‘dies’ again and thinks oh let me try it this way and dies again. He keeps trying different ways to get a different, a better, outcome. He drives different routes, he omits the smoke gun, he uses the smoke gun more, he drives through the guards, he’s faster, more risky, just determined not to die this time. Then he does it! He’s not sure what happened this time but somehow he lives. He phones Mello thinking that it’s going well on his end because he never had contact with him when he was getting chased, but for some reason Mello doesn’t answer his call. He hears on the radio that Mello and Kiyomi Tadaka are dead, they died in a fire. Matt is just like wtf at this point because that wasn’t supposed to happen. It’ll be okay because when he goes to sleep the next time he opens his eyes, the day will just start over. He’ll just think of a new plan to save himself AND Mello, it’ll be fine, he saved himself right? Why couldn’t he save Mello as well? Matt falls asleep and when he opens his eyes he’s not laying down in that crappy apartment he hated so much. He wakes up in his car, where he fell asleep last night, checks his phone and sees it’s a new day. A brand new day and he’s alive, but Mello is dead and he can’t go back and change the outcome this time.

idk how popular the innortal/infinite loops au still is, but basically: time loop with one anchor looper and occasional looper friends, the more things you change in a loop, the weirder the next one will be.

I'm imagining Bruce as a DCU anchor.

I'm imagining bruce, at least ten loops into the hell that has been his life, finally snapping and killing the joker, just to see what would happen.

I'm imagining bruce, facing himself and his family and All That Guilt after killing the joker, and not having a justification because it was too early for him to do all the damage that he would have

(I'm imagining jason waking up for a loop just in time to see bruce kill the joker, and wondering why he didn't do it the first time)

I'm imagining bruce waking up in the next loop and realising that it doesn't matter.

Never in a million years he ever thought he'd be looking at one Steve Harrington and hearing him ask.

okay okay. crazy idea. do any writers want to perhaps collaborate on my kokichi time loop au idea...

basic info is that it's saiouma endgame but I could absolutely be swayed into making it oumota or saioumota. kokichi remembers every loop and sustains phantom injuries from his most recent death. he'd eventually figure out that it's not his murder that resets it, but his death as a whole, and this would lead to a lot of kokichi literally killing himself when loops don't go his way.

essentially, it's real fucked up and would follow kokichi's descent into insanity in excruciating detail. the reason I'm asking if anyone wants to collaborate is because 1. time loops are hard, 2. this will be a MONSTER of a fic; my incomplete draft for chapter one is already 10k, and I have vague outlines for only five chapters so far, and 3. fun!

I don't do collaborate writing often, but I do head and run a creative writing workshop, so I know some.
