I bring you the start of a project that is as large as it is versatile. My goal is to produce over five hundred (and one!) stylish walls. As always, and as any glance at my previous set previews will show, I've worked hard to produce a litany of swatch colors for all my content, so no matter your style of gameplay--baroque or 2000s shabby chic, historical or modern, pastel or goth--you can utilize a variety of colors to brighten up your game.

Andor is set to arrive on April 22, with a very different release schedule than Season 1. Rather than weekly releases, the series will be released in three-episode batches that culminate with an explosive finale on May 13

The latest teaser for the series revealed that we’re going to see Ghorman, which some Star Wars fans know for the devastating Ghorman Massacre. When you’re looking at the references to these various events that we have only heard of, what went into the decision to choose which to show us?

GILROY: It's the five years. I get those five years. So, in those five years, there's a couple of really big… You map it out on a calendar, on a piece of paper, “Okay, here's where I'm going to go. Here are my four blocks. Here's where these things happen.” Mon Mothma leaving the Senate is canonical. There are a couple of other events in here. The development of Yavin is canonical. Obviously, the discovery of the Death Star and whatever intelligence there is, espionage, that leads to the beginning of Rogue One is canonical. I had to get to all those things.

Ghorman, interestingly, is canonical but completely undescribed. It's a total blank slate.

There's also a bit of confusion about the Ghorman Massacre, and what is the Ghorman Massacre? There's a lot of confusion within canon. So, it was an opportunity to rebuild in a really significant way. It's a very significant part of our show that can do a lot of different things for us. Quite honestly, it's very expensive to build, so we really want to use it as much as possible so it carries over five different episodes. I'm really confident that the really deep, passionate Star Wars community will appreciate how we've straightened out that story.

A/N: I'm honestly so nervous to post this lol, but I guess I have returned with some more shitty writing for you guys after about 2/3 (?) years. I have essentially abandoned my old works (whoops) but most of them were oneshots anyway. Updates will be slow. I have no one to check my grammar and I live in a country where people use both British and American versions, so I’m sorry if I confuse/combine them! I’m posting this for accountability, so that I have to post the fic and it doesn't rot in my drafts like everything else.

WIP 1: Agathario Professor/Student!AU (no magic). Basically Rio works in a bar before the semester begins and has a one night stand with a beautiful stranger (Agatha, obviously). She thinks she'll never see her again... until the first day of her philosophy class. Multichapter but I only have a little bit done.

A Very Tiny Preview of Chapter 1: Still in the process of editing!

The bartender gently muddled a sugar cube with bitters, her ringed fingers gripping the heavy glass. As she added a large ice cube, she felt the piercing gaze of the woman across from her. Pouring a measured splash of bourbon, the amber liquid cascaded over the ice, pooling at the edges. Picking up an orange peel, she dragged it slowly along the rim of the glass, twisting it before dropping it in with deliberate care. She allowed herself a small nod of satisfaction, proud of her work.

The older woman adjusted in her seat, resting her elbow on the bar and her chin lightly on her hand. The woman’s eyes remained fixed on Rio, tracking the deliberate movements of her hands as if they were painting a masterpiece. Her gaze lingered on the way Rio’s fingers curled around the orange peel, her delicate rings glinting under the low light.

“Here you go,” she said with a warm smile, sliding the glass toward her. “An Old Fashioned. Simple, elegant, timeless.” 

As the woman accepted her drink, she grazed Rio's fingers with her own. Electricity was coursing through the air as they touched, fizzling out as their hands separated. Rio is convinced the older woman must have been trying to kill her, the way her fingers brushed ever-so-lightly along the outside of Rio’s hand as she reached for the drink felt almost intentional.

The woman raised the drink to her full lips, holding Rio’s gaze. Taking a small sip, she lingered on the subtle sweetness and the complex flavors unfolding on her tongue. For a moment, she remained silent, making Rio more anxious than she cared to admit—until the woman let out a sound that could only be described as a low, appreciative moan.

“Um, what… what do you think of it?” Rio asked, trying to remain calm, though her flushed cheeks betrayed her.

“Well, sweetheart, I think the drinks here are almost as delicious as the company behind the bar.”

Summary:

As the dust settles, Louis tries to find back to life - maybe to find Lestat, definitely to find himself. As with all things, this is easier said than done though, their relationship has not been likened to a hurricane for nothing after all, and the devil is definitely in the details.

Behind him Svenya gasps and steps back, but Louis opens his mouth and breathes in, gulps the air down in deep breaths, the scent of water, and ozone, and salt, and flowers, and kerosene exploding in his nose, on his skin, on his tongue.

New Orleans. Steel and stone, and wood. Banana trees and wisteria, flowers blossoming and falling to the streets. Salt and dirt and beating hearts, music and decay. The impression of time and timelessness, and lacquer, peeling off of rusty railings.

“I’m out on the Crescent coast, floating past your village, when I hear music playing, and the shadows of men and women dancing by the water's edge. I disembarked for the music, but then there was the food.”

Louis gasps, his eyes blurring in red, blinking rapidly, refusing to let the tears fall.

Behind him, Svenya is pulling out an umbrella, offering it to Louis. “At least the rain is warm, Sir.”
