My cover of CCR's "Long As I Can See the Light" for Hulu's new mini-series, "We Were the Lucky Ones." The Crystal Creative enlisted Tal Richards and I to reimagine this one and we're thrilled with how it turned out!
Cannibal by Tally Hall, but it's a trailer for a movie where a a male, shy college student is in a relationship with the most chaotic and outgoing girl of his class.
(The places where the lyrics go silent, it would have some sort of dialogue cos movie)

There’s a lot of great video essays on the phenomenon of lazy ‘pop-songs-but-make-it-slow-and acoustic’ trailer music (though the songs themselves are honestly often a lot better than the trailers demonstrate, this is not 2WEI criticism) but as a former pit musician, I have a particular love for trailers that absolutely NAIL the spirit of an existing song with minimal editing/mixing. Case in point:
The Godless Trailer (Nico Vega, Bang Bang My Baby Shot Me Down) (Merritt Weaver call me)
Knives Out Trailer (Frank Sinatra, I’m Gonna Live Till I Die) (I think this is actually based on a performed version by Queen Latifah here)
Army of the Dead trailer (Kenny Rogers, The Gambler) This is actually neither a particular good movie nor a particularly good trailer but the sound editing is amazing and I’m FURIOUS that this version of The Gambler wasn’t used for a better heist movie trailer (Leverage. This is the heist trailer Leverage deserved)
Quick Epic Orchestration Sketch using Audio Imperia's "Jaeger" 🎻🎺✨
It was my first time using this library so I challenged myself to make a small piece using only said library. I am really loving the epic sound and could only imagine what it might sound like if used my full arsenal 👀
