Jacky93Sims' 4t2 Functional VR Headset - Bugfixes and New Features
So I have been playing with the 4t2 Functional VR Headset by @jacky93sims for a while now. While it is an amazing thing to have it at all, I immediately noticed some weird things going on in my game whenever I tried to use it. Initially I just wanted to get rid of these weird things, but this sparked a big makeover of the entire mod's functions, as I felt this object could do so much more with a bit of BHAV magic.
Most importantly, Sims can now use the VR headset autonomously, gain Science enthusiasm (because waaaay too few objects benefit that hobby) and Fitness through it, you are no longer prompted to take a screenshot whenever a Sim puts the headset on or off, and the headset will no longer kill Sims if you leave them unattended.
Note that the download link only includes the main object containing all the code! Please go to the original download page to grab the headset accessory and the child, teen and adult meshes, too.

NEW FEATURE: All interactions are now autonomous! All Sims can play or work out if they seek Fun, but Playful Sims are more likely to play with it, and Active Sims are more likely to work out on it.
NEW FEATURE: Sims now gain Science hobby enthusiasm when playing or working out, at a default of 120% the normal speed. (Requires FreeTime, but you can use this updated version without FT, too.)
NEW FEATURE: Sims now gain Fitness when working out. By default the rate is about 50% faster than working out on stereos, to justify the hefty price tag.
CHANGE: Slightly more Fun gain while playing (40/hour -> 50/hour). In turn, higher Energy (-5/hour -> -20/hour) and Comfort loss (none -> -20/hour).
CHANGE: Slightly more Energy (-10/hour -> -20/hour), Comfort (-10/hour -> -25/hour) and Hygiene (none -> -25/hour) loss. Removed the weird fixed -2 Comfort loss when putting the headset on. Active Sims now only gain 50% more Body skill when working out with the VR headset; other Sims still retain the base 150% skill rate gain. I feel like VR would close the skill gap a bit, so...
CHANGE: Made all the gain and loss tunable for those that know their way around SimPE and can change BCON resource 0x1000 (for playing) and 0x1002 (for working out).
CHANGE: Looped the "jumping jack" and "jog" workout animations three times, and slowed them down. Looped the "knee-bend", "stretch side" and "stretch toes" animations twice. It all looked quite odd being at normal speed.
CHANGE: Added a dialogue when a Body Skill point is gained.
CHANGE: Clarified that the object requires University through the catalogue, because it uses a SimVac animation. I also adjusted the catalogue values for Fun (N/A -> 10) and Environment (6 -> 8).
CHANGE: Added a German translation.
CHANGE: Removed some unnecessary resources.
CRITICAL BUGFIX: Sims will now stop using the headset if their fun is maxed or their motives are failing (same thresholds as with any other "Fun" object), so they don't play or work out until they drop dead. This is a similar issue to an unmodded Exercise Bike from FT.
BUGFIX: You are no longer prompted to take a picture when a Sim puts on or takes off the headset. Maybe @jacky93sims did this to create a bit of immersion, but I did not like it.
BUGFIX: Motive changes are now cleared after taking the headset off. Previously, Sims would keep gaining Fun and losing Energy and/or Comfort even after stopping to use the headset.
BUGFIX: If a Sim doesn't have enough room to play or work out after already having strapped the headset on, the "in use" flag and overlays will now properly reset.

Functional VR Headset for The Sims 2

You can buy this object from Buy Mode in Electronics-Entertainment for 2500 simoleon. Children can use it too. There are 2 options:
Play with VR: Your sim wears the headset and starts some animations (like shown in the video below). Fun increases while Energy decreases. When you stop the action, the headset returns to the base.
Work Out with VR: Your sim wears the headset and starts some workout animations (see the video below). Sim will gain Body Skill. Fun increases while Energy and Comfort Decrease. When you stop the action, the headset returns to the base.

Saber Marionette L

During the workweek the stressors of being a CEO provided the mental challenges to her mind, but Lena Kieran Luthor detested the lack of time for her physical health. Since a workweek would inevitably turn into a workmonth without any real sort of time off, the busy woman prepared a side room extension from her office. Other than her quick science lab runs down and business meetings that majorly happened in the building, Lena normally omitted going outside.
Blinking at the activated eye comfort shield that signified it had turned nine in the evening, Lena sighed and squinted out the glass windows all around her. She had a damn good reason for those glass windows with the lack of outdoor interaction she had. It was nearing Halloween in October, and she reprimanded herself for the hectic scheduling as of late, reminding herself of the last two day's missed workouts.
As the owner of Luthor Corp, Lena had the highest granted floor of the mega industrial building. Thankfully that also translated that during National City's cloudy days, she could also find some breaks of the sun's rays in her office. Being able to revel in the natural light was important to Lena, and the dark haired woman felt her mouth turn up into a self-appreciative smile. Supergirl enjoyed it as well. National City's hero was far from a stranger at this point, but Lena ensured her private quarters were reinforced with lead. She could feel the tell-tale twinge in her lower back as she pushed back from her desk and exhaled. It was the last Friday night of the month and Lena had adopted a new workplace policy that everyone got to go home an extra hour early. Normally that never applied to her, and even now Lena rolled her neck and stretched her arms above her head, reveling in the burning pull of her lower back as she pulled to the side.
It had been a stressful work week. Decision after decision piled onto her desk in the form of paperwork needing signatures, and Lena had taken to applying some anti-inflammatory lotions to her wrists as she'd focused on creating grants and overseeing work productivity in graphs. Eyeing the discreet door leading to her personal company home, Lena poured herself a glass of water and padded to the side. Turning off the lights as she left, the CEO dropped all pretenses as she crossed the threshold and swiped the hanging gloves by the door. Sliding into them, Lena toed off her high heels and dropped into a controlled squat, slow and steady as she exhaled, closing her eyes and focusing on the dull throb of her ankles supporting her weight before rightening herself and rolling her wrists, getting used to the heavy tech of her personalized gloves.
Stepping barefoot over to the middle of the room after swiping two lenses from the nearby desk, Lena took another breath and aligned her feet to the measured floorspace. Raising a hand, she reached up and slotted the wireless lenses in front of her eyes, fingers adjusting the VR tech to her head as it powered up and enveloped her in a blue glow. Years ago she had discovered Beat Saber and while the marketed headsets had been clunky, Lena took it upon herself to customize her own minimal tech which would expand to the base of the user's neck and slide around to magnetically float in front of the user's eyes. Wryly shaking her head, the former Fencing Champion adjusted her weight as she stretched to her full height and then down, slowly testing her flexibility and finally resolve after a full work day that started since this morning at four.
Lena liked the hard beats of a fast song, liked ramping her heart pace up to a speeding drumroll as her body lost itself to the flow the sabers chased as they slashed the incoming boxes. The past two days had been too hectic for her to indulge, and Lena felt herself grin as she started up the Expert Level trial songs for a quick speedrun. Hearing the opening beats, Lena felt her brain lighting up with the familiar tension from the hand-eye coordination, her body greedily thriving on the dopamine as she easily sliced through the minutes. There was something so enticing about the safety of an adrenaline rush through games, the youngest Luthor intimately familiar since her early childhood of being adopted. Her brother preferred the creation of machines, uniform even as they bulked up through the years. Lena loved the science of creation, down to the atoms, and had adopted the habit of testing out others' creations for games to learn coding and getting a handle of others' interests.
Beat Saber had consistently filled the fond spot for her heart. Lena knew she was raised to be a Luthor, to achieve the grace in the spotlight without a concrete emotional pillar to guide her. Her adoption had been closed and kept from the public, and Lena knew to not buckle under Lionel and Lillian, and even though Lex had been taken with her, Lena knew to expand her skills as best she could. Boarding school had pressured her to learn etiquette, and Lena had fought to find some semblance of anything that resembled humanity outside of the fake social circles that haunted the young women all around her. Fencing fascinated her, and Lena threw herself into it alongside her studies of specimens in science.
There hadn't been enough time to enjoy the short time after graduation before she was indoctrined into nanobot research to further her dwindling connection with Lex, her brother visiting few and far between as she slowly developed projects with the intent to alleviate society's problems. Lena had stepped up when her brother threw L-Corp to the wayside, relocating to National City. Still Beat Saber followed Lena as she found her time monopolized by an internally self-destructive company, then death threats, then a continued working with National City's hero, Supergirl. Life had continued with emergency after emergency, and finally Lena slowly saw an alleviation to her schedule as she shifted focus to diversify stock into Catco Media after making friends with Kara Danvers.
Kara Danvers, who she now called her best friend. Kara Danvers, whose office she had filled with flowers on Valentine's Day after the newly minted reporter had called in Supergirl to save her life, now a strong ally, even if the superhero came with a clandestine underground organization. Kara Danvers, who Lena discovered was not exaggerating when the blonde had told her she could outeat anyone she had ever met. Kara Danvers, who still didn't know Lena all that well, specifically, her musical outlet.
Lena hummed, feeling the burn in her thighs as she crouched, then sprung up, jumping over the holographic wall that appeared in front of her, turning sharply to avoid the bombs around her discerning sabers to slice at a particularly exciting beat drop box. Breathing was important in fencing, and Lena felt the likeness of her past sport as she relaxed after parrying. She hadn't had a quarter of the training she used to have daily in order to satisfy her own high standards, but Lena had come to accept her secret hobby was keeping her fairly fit. Granted, it probably had more with her own metabolism succumbing to stress, but that was besides the point.
Breathing heavily, she called up the main menu and gave herself a break as she scrolled through the community's uploaded songs, filtering through how many beats per song and high ratings. Pausing always gave Lena time to take stock of herself, and she felt herself relaxing into the energized sample intros. Clicking her teeth as she clicked on the song title, Lena smiled as she loaded an older Taylor Swift song she wasn't familiar with that started with a catchy beat. The woman had made a name for herself throughout the years in different music genres, and Lena would always give a nod of kudos to the hard work that she knew went into any path, least of all a live industry. The least she could do was give this rendition a chance.
It started out hard with a surprising knee drop, and Lena slid to one side, then back to the next as she braced a leg out. Lena felt her body surge in excitement as she slashed and jumped, landing to slide into a crouch before a the familiar pattern of the opening pattern finally presented itself again.

A laugh broke out, and Lena spun as she took a millisecond too late to reach back up to her full height. Instead she palmed the middle of her customized glove as threw her hand out, the saber in game slicing up by itself as she threw it, snapping the box in half with a satisfied slice. The lyrics were surprising, highly probable not popular in society, but words that Lena could feel a relation to.

Running two multimillion companies and being the face of both for a time was definitely something Lena had made sure to take every advantage that she could. Her gender had been more of a hindrance, but that ensured she tried harder to lead properly without feeling the need she had to compensate. Realistically it was easier to provide products that worked and spoke for themselves, which is why during the first breakaways after the transfer of ownership, Lena took to the labs, getting to know her fellow humans and losing herself in the process of scientific breakthroughs.

Breathing hard, Lena jumped and crouched and slid, the erratic boxes sliced open and smashed and ran through, and deep inside, she could feel the woman she had become solidify, the characters of how she had to present as CEO and perfect Luthor daughter, slide away, crumble, and what remained was a woman who cared, and in turn, mattered to others. Lena's mind went to Kara, who had never judged her, and had believed in her fiercely. Kara, who couldn't believe that Lena had dropped a power move and made an investment into CatCo Media, instead delightedly coming back to work at the company when Lena had insisted. Kara, who had been so understanding and protective as her own mother had been behind the attacks of countless innocent aliens, and who hadn't backed down when she'd been arrested, instead striving to prove her own innocence even when the evidence had been piled against her. Kara, who had seen Lena so tightly wound, that the blonde had taken to dropping off food and even inviting her out to slow lunches and quippy conversations about OTPs and neighbor's dogs.

Lena swallowed hard, imagining the arrogance and entitlement of people who had bad days and terrorist ideas and struggled to not snarl as she spun and double sliced at the incoming boxes, realizing that the more she cut and fought, her own compartmentalized boxes were starting to break. It had been a long year, hard-earned percentages of L-Corp and CatCo Media stock slowly pulling out of the red and into the black as National City residents slowly started to rely again on the persistence of corporations well-run with transparency.

Her breathing was coming out in harsh pants, and Lena could tell this was going to be one of her favorite songs for Beat Saber. It suited her emotions right now, been a good driving rythm for her to get her aggression and anger out. Years of fencing had taught her that every motion was to be brisk and sharp, no energy wasted, but Lena let herself go, letting her body act out what she knew she needed to let go of, to have a physical release, knowing it would be okay, she could take it--
"I'm so sick of them coming at me again Cause if I was a man Then I'd be The Man"
Before she knew it, red flashed across the top of her screen, signaling an incoming call from Kara Danvers. Lena blinked, partially distracted as the last wall holographically buffeted into her, and against her better judgement, Lena laughed as she watched her high score plummet sharply, answering the call with a quick salute against her temple.
"Kara, hey, what's up?"
"Lena!! Are you alright?"
The woman in question blinked, breathing hard and smiling as she took off the lenses and nodded her head, shaking her wet ponytail out as she slicked back her hair again and noted how hard she was sweating. A good workout indeed. Walking over to her water at the desk, Lena pulled her gloves off and hung them, walking back and taking a well-deserved drink.
"Of course, just finished up for the night."
Kara was shuffling something in the back of the call, and Lena smiled as she hung her head, realizing why Kara had called.
"I wanted to check in, make sure you're still down for the rest of Game Night."
Rolling her wrists and neck out, the CEO glanced at the time blinking from her clock. 10.15. Hmm.
"Are you sure, Kara, it's fairly late, you guys must be finishing up."
Even the blonde's huff was cute.
"Wellllll, we might be finishing up with Game Night and I've been missing my perfect partner, but we're going to pop in a movie while we wrap up. It's Friday, the night after Halloween, c'mon, Lena, we've got candy and pumpkin seeds and--"
"Alright, darling, I'll be there, give me thirty minutes."
Hearing the drunken cheers in the background, Lena smiled. She may be a largely successful businesswoman and scientist, but leave it to her friend to include her and double check she was still coming. Lena headed for the shower, unaware that on the other side of her balcony window, Supergirl had been floating, eyes wide as she had flown over earlier to check what was going on with Lena's racing heartbeat. Even though she hadn't seen anything in that lead-lined room, Supergirl had smiled and then left Lena to her activities. The CEO was busy, but she had made time for them, after all.
Kara raced off, happily joining her friends again as she zoomed around and nabbed all the spare blankets and pillows around to enjoy movie night. Lena arrived thirty minutes later, and that Friday, the night after Halloween, Kara pulled her down to her on the couch and wrapped her up in a warm embrace. Lena decided she didn't need to race to Kara's to find a spot, nor did she need to get there quicker. Kara would save her a spot, and Lena would gratefully settle against her, and it became another home away from home. One day, she'd invite Kara to know her better. For now, Lena would continue to play how Kara wanted to play. If blue eyes looked to her fondly and Lena responded by smiling and hands tapping out a drumroll beat, no one was the wiser.

This is a guide on daily routines inspired by Choi Yena! These routines are ideal to do in a lazy day when your motivation and energy are both low, but you still want to get some things done!

Yena starts her days checking her phone, it's important to not do it immediately after waking up, take some time to remember your dreams or drink water until you're fully awake. Checking social media in the morning can change your mood drastically, so always make sure to detox your socials! Unfollow or block people you don't want on your feed + follow inspiring accounts.
Next step is to get ourselves our favorite sugary drink, although it's not healthy to have this amount of sugar every day, giving ourselves a treat, specially when we are feeling off can't be harmful! (just remember to drink water the rest of the day (;° ロ°)!)
Now it's time to play video games! Choose one that gets you out of bed like just dance or some kind of VR game, if you don't feel like moving because you're sick or have period cramps, you can play a phone game like kartrider rush+.
After having fun, it's time to make chores (っ- ‸ - ς) Yena doesn't really like to do them, she even tricks her older brother Sungmin to do them for her! But still, she ends up doing them anyway ૮ ◞ ﻌ ◟ ა some chores you can do is making your bed, clean your room, organize laundry and do the dishes or anything that makes your room clean and functional for the rest of the day.
Time for breakfast! Yena's favorite is inspired by the movie "howl's moving castle", basically it's eggs, bacon, toast and cheese with a cup of tea, if this doesn't seem like your type of breakfast, you can try another recipe based on movies or shows or just one that you've been wanting to try for some time now!
Finally, it's time to get ready! Do your skincare, brush your hair into a comfy hairstyle and only wear comfy clothes. You decide if you want to wear makeup today or not, but if you do, try some new styles or colors to refresh your style, you can even try Yena's makeup looks!

When we're feeling tired, the last thing we want to do is to study, but sometimes we don't have other option. If you have no other option than study today, you can do a little revision of the content, organize and delay some tasks to do any other day and do some simple things like easy homework, you can listen to your favorite songs to boost your mood!
After this short study session, you can "reward" yourself and watch some kpop content (Yena is a huge kpop fan!) like variety shows your favs appear in, MV's or live presentations.

Yena is actually not good at doing heavy workouts, usually she does short routines with Sungmin! So what are we're going to do is a do a 5 min workout for our target area (arms, abs, legs, etc.) or a low impact full body workout!
If you actually feel a little more energetic now, you can do a kpop random dance, these are so fun to play especially if you're a multistan! Or you can try and learn some new choreographies from scratch too.

A relaxing bath is always a good idea on a lazy day! First, set the mood with some relaxing music and your favorite scent, then wash your body using a sweet-scented body wash and then use a scrub to soften your skin, for extra soft skin, use a light body lotion after. Only use dry shampoo today, you’re probably too tired to wash and dry it today ʚ(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )ɞ
After refreshing it's a perfect time to take a break from your phone and do some journaling, search for prompts on Pinterest to see why you were feeling down or lazy today and search for a solution, if you're feeling creative, take some stickers, memo pads and cute pens to start scrapbooking! Listen to some music if you find it too boring.

Yena starts and ends her days gaming, so get comfy in bed and start playing cute games! Some ideal games to play at night are animal crossing (pocket camp, new horizons, etc.) hello kitty dream café, cooking mama or hello kitty world 2!
Before going to sleep, watch an episode from a kdrama, cartoons or anime! Some recommendations from Yena are saiki k and chainsaw man
