We're going to be going through all 7 seasons of Gilmore Girls but replacing the characters with our characters from FMA. So of course, tons of things change, b/c they're different people who respond to the same situations differently!

I am for the first time right now, and it's super fun! Looking forward to doing more work like this in the future!

Sometimes I doubt I'll ever finish my longfic, Oh My Dear. Because it's hard. And long. But I love it so much, and I already have other fics for the series written, including I'll Keep You Safe which is extra special to me because of the artwork @awesomedurraworld has drawn for it!

I would hope that I do a good job of portraying people who have been traumatized and how they deal with and process their emotions. Since as a mental health counselor, that's kinda my thing.

I try....really, really, really hard to accurately portray the characters personalities and how who they are when they are alone/with their intimate partner is different than who we see onscreen/on the pages. But it's still the same person. IDK if that makes sense to anyone. #LynRambles

17. Writing Weaknesses?

SO. Many. Things. Commas are the bane of my existence. I feel like I'm shit at describing settings/surroundings/details/clothing, that kind of thing. And I have 0 original ideas. (This is a lie. I refuse to acknowledge my original ideas b/c I don't believe I will ever have the skill to write them.)

18. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue?

I don't really use it, cuz it pretty much doesn't fit into my fandom? I've used it in the past and then tried to use context clues to make the translation clear, and then I actually DID get hate for the way I did it, now that I think about it.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter. Like everybody else my age.

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

Okay so my honest to goodness favorite is not yet published. It's called "Need You to Love Me", and it will be coming soon! It's also currently the longest I've ever written!

But of those that are already published.....I'm very very partial to "Beautiful Disaster". Or I could just say "Stolen Moments", and I wouldn't be lying LOL. (SFW Stolen Moments)

Some Miscellaneous WIP Snippets

I felt like posting some snippets of what I’ve been working on now that Night Of The Blue Moon is out, so I’m doing that today. I’m currently trying to work on Blood On A Yellow Rose and Night Of The Justified Deaths (The sequel to Night Of The Blue Moon) at the same time, while also experimenting with a prequel for The Tengu And The Angel, so that’s what you guys are getting today. Without further ado, a snippet from Blood On A Yellow Rose:

I look at her like she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. “How could I? It’s been twenty years since I last sang in public,” I sigh, “And besides, what record label would sign me? Everyone’s into pop nowadays. Who’s going to give a record deal to someone like me, whose music style is 2000s punk? I’m outdated.”

“My music style was 2000s punk, and I got a record deal,” she shoots back, “I could help you.”

And now, a snippet from Night Of The Justified Deaths:

“What kind of supervillain would use their own surname as their secret identity?”

“A really stupid one, as in, stupid enough to pick a fight with the literal gods of death.”

And lastly, a snippet from my as of yet untitled prequel for The Tengu And The Angel:

“Theo, we’ve spent all day unpacking, and I’m exhausted, can we not do this right now?”

I know the ongoing theory is that Fionna's universe is a figment of Simon's subconscious but I believe that it is an actual entire reality that just so happened to have been created by Simon's subconscious

You know how people often imagine that they can travel to alternate realities via their dreams? I personally don't think reality-shifting is a thing, but that's what I'm talking about. People will dream about visiting other worlds and more often than not they are fictional realities from books and TV shows and stuff

Suppose that these worlds WERE actually real, though. Imagine that somewhere in the vast multiverse there is in fact a Star Wars reality where everything in the movies, shows, games, and comics actually happened and continue to happen as the franchise evolves. There is no connection to our reality, however. We are not the cause of the events nor are we prophets for them, it just so happens that their reality is our fantasy by pure coincidence

That is what I think is happening to Fionna and Cake, specifically because their story is in the public consciousness. If a Star Wars universe did exist, it'd only be recognizable because Star Wars is in the public consciousness. No one is dreaming about traveling to one specific guy's WIP story about radioactive moths, but many people are dreaming about Star Wars

And the story of "Fionna and Cake" is in the public consciousness of the people of Ooo. People are thinking about it, talking about it, asking about it, and most of all dreaming about it. Their belief is what brings that world to life, not just Simon. However, as the original creator of their story, Simon has the most influence over it. No matter what your fanfictions say, only the original author has the power to make things actually happen in their story, and that's Simon's situation. The fans may have made their world a reality, but only Simon has control over it, like angels to a god

Star Wars would've ended with its first film if it didn't attract a fanbase. The fans gave it the opportunity to become two more movies, then three prequels, then three sequels, many TV shows, spinoffs, cartoons, etc. Without the support of the fans, the extended universe would not exist, and the dreamers wouldn't be dreaming of it

Fionna and Cake, both the story and the show, would not exist without the fans. If Ice King's stories never got popular, Fionna and Cake would not exist, but because they did get popular, they do. In the same way that Star Wars may exist somewhere inaccessible, Fionna and Cake exist in the reality of Adventure Time, and their story exists in our reality as a fictional cartoon

But to someone, somewhere, somehow, they are real, and that someone is and always has been Ice King

-> i wouldn't dare to write a sequel for other fics but i wanna revamp my rybalenka virtual angel au and write it like backwards, giving it depths etc. I genuinely wanna rewrite it. Or maybe my first fic, 'Crimson Rain'. It needs a good prequel to it zhdjdhsj

-> I'm writing sinnettini hanahaki au! :D - don't worry no mc death wtv i promised to nico i will not do a character death LMFAOOO. And we talked about the hospital settings because I love the fic titled 'It'll Leave You Breathless or With a Nasty Scar'. I love both of the endings so please, please read it. Greatly recommended! The setting started around Toronto 2023 when jannik and matteo met for the first time in an official match. The crush went way back but the bloodstream came around then. And if u remember there's this sinnettini im writing abt pornstar!jannik & photographer!matteo, then pls know I'm still working on it. The title is 'Portrait of a Blue Morpho'.
