it's the hour of the day where i still and think about how greer could have had some very impactful plots/stories and character developments that never went anywhere and/or got magic'd away or solved in one issue.

like the first time that she "went feral" it actually was saying something, and it was impactful, and you show it affected her relationships, almost hurt her team, and then she had a whole arc of meeting the cat people in "hell" / the land within, and had to fight for her soul literally, and reclaimed and showed that her strength came from herself already and she could have control, and had like a whole battle and fight

andd then the next time it happens. it could have been something that expanded on her further transmutation into tigra. but instead theey just had hank shrink her down, literally bottle her away to remove her from being part of the broader WCA plot, and then just had literal agatha harkness magic fix her away. andd it was terriblee.

nd then they had her join team bobbi in WCA and have her going feral and then nothing really comes of that.

and then her relationship with Hank, thre's so much mor that could have gone into; and you don't even have Greer ever really talk about the whole trauma of /Skrull Hank/

andd then they do have an issue where ON HER first session with Trauma immediately resolves all her fears regarding hr pregnancy, and just her whole pregnancy plot line is so poorly done, and again thy literally have trauma magic away the trauma of heer pregnancy.

and then you know its not really acknowledged like the wholee Norman Osborn involvement in that. and then like

Her Red Hood asssault plot line and it carrying over into Academy, was okay. like they did go into like the emotinos and rage she felt about what happened to her, but like you don't really get a lot of moments of seeing her really grappling or what helpss her like actually get through and cope with it. and then Acadmy writer having the gall to hae the studeents DISCOUNT HER TRAUMA as well at least she was r* worded. LIKEE LIKEE THE FUCK. and then her saysing "oh yeah im healed from it i got help" and its like WHERE? WHEN? all we got was FIRSt/ONE therpay session with trauma, whre he showed her her worst fear, and then suddenly she was btter with the pregnancy. but nothing on like HER TALKING about lik what the Red Hood did to her.

anyways. once again. Greer still struggles with control issuees, she's a lot more powerful than her canon part, cause she's grown and gaind control and powere, and she's went throguh a lot to heal, and just she has a merged soul; tigra an greer merged, instead of greer soul only. but it's no longer two souls battle. but just

okay but like.... on some of the good things. when Greer first appears in Aveenger, and it's so CLEAR she clearly doesn't know what sshe's doing and doesn't know how to fit in and be a big time hero, and tries, cauase like HER TRANSMATION IS SO FRESH. she was only The Cat vigilante for such a small time. this is all big and near to her, and hr Tigra transformation at that tieme as also 2 sousl in one person battling for ach other,

but lik her first appearance with the Aveners. 216. iss greeat. and just SHE IS SO INSECURE.

and then like even early WCA you see that. she's not sure if she's Big League hero or strong eenough, and then like YEAH. and that's good. and then her in th original Spiderwoman run, like that's good greer/tigra conteent and just. UGH

and she gets shafted with her plot lines. or like half of her truama plots get magic cured and i hate it.

so I’ve seen lots of fics about Bruce coming back and finding out things like Tim loosing his spleen or Damian getting shot (on multiple occasions by different people) and he almost always finds out by either having dug into the Batcomputers records and stumbling across it or just seeing it on scans or something after Tim or Damian is injured

but imagine for a moment Bruce finds out, not on his own, but by the others telling him.

And by “tell him” I of course mean that they all automatically assume that he already knows about all of it(because he’s the worlds greatest detective so obviously they don’t need to say anything) so they never bring it up until they mention it one day in passing and nearly give him a heart attack.

for example:

Bruce: Tim, I need you to come with me to speak with Dr. Thompkins down at the clinic about that new drug that’s been circulating

Tim: Oh, sure thing, just let me grab my mask

[Bruce not saying anything but looking at him confused because Tim is already fully suited up and wearing his domino mask?]:

[Tim, now wearing a surgical face mask]: Ok, I’m ready! [Bruce just staring at him, waiting for some explanation. He doesn’t get one.]:

Bruce: Tim

Tim: hm?

Bruce: Why are you wearing a face mask..?

Tim: Oh! Well Dr. Thompkins got mad at me last time I came to the clinic without one because there’s a lot of sick people there and I should be more careful since I’m immunocompromised-

I feel like I've complained about Tim's email situation in Gotham Knights before (edit: I have), but the truth of it is just so funny.

He's signed up for so many podcasts, video game streamers, and random news alerts; it's just a constant barrage of data going straight into his constantly whirring brain. Hell, he even floats the idea of the Batfamily having their own podcast as a way to correct misinformation about them (which Jason shoots down instantly), and it's made me realize something.

Timothy Drake would be a YouTuber.

In this universe specifically, Timothy Jackson Drake, the heir to Drake Industries and the foster son of the late Bruce Wayne would be a YouTuber.

Think about it. It'd be the perfect cover. Who would ever suspect that some 16-year-old nepo baby with a YouTube channel could ever be Red Robin? You'd have to be mad. I mean, look at him.

Red Robin just dropped out of literal thin air and garotted someone four times his size, and you expect anyone to believe that's the same kid who does 24-hour Minecraft charity streams and occasionally drops 6-hour video essays (his last one was on Lex Luthor's illegal bit mining operation on the moon)?

Reminders about my Tigra

Since I'm pretty familair with most of Greer's canon from her creation in 1972 with The Cat to her current appearance in Moon Knight, she's gone pretty headcanon based.

She's pretty beefed up with her own plot lines I wanna write for her and my ideas for a comic run to go in line with things like Scarlet Witch, Angela of Asgard, Nico Minoru, and other mystic/magic based marvel characters (after all in New Avengers it is shown that she was a potential candidate for being sorcerer supreme [2005] and in Misty Knight and Valkyrie's Fearless Defenders run [2014?] she is shown as one of the worthy to be shieldmaidens to Valkyrie) I have beefed her way the hell up

She's a mystic based character in the Marvel universe; now most of the mystic characters will definitely still be able to beat her in a magic fight but she has her tricks (given she has the ability to summon balkathar from the land within and can access the land within) and other things.

I've added back in some of the monstrous/werecat origins of her character; see West Coast Avengers (her struggle with having two souls), she is still incline to "Going Feral" and having to balance between the warrior Tigra and the human Greer, so she still worries about losing herself to "The Hunt/Tiger/Warrior" (not quite like hulk rage or werewolf by night but hey she can relate and has her own worries but typically always in control)

She's a tracker and a hunter first and foremost. This extends to being able to pick up and scent out magic as well. Physically I have made him her buffer, she's taller standing at 6'4" because let me have big tiger woman

Her individual plot is actually calling back to the glimpse of Tigra's apartment she had in 2005 New Avengers before her assault by The Hood (Parker Robbins) which when you look at her apartment it looks like it has a bunch of artifacts which we can assume are relics of the Cat People, which we know in canon is dwindling numbers on Earth 616. So Greer's mission is recover all the items and keep them safe.

The Midnight Mission is one of her top "things" she is up to in current canon. Speaking on the MM, the physical building which is the House of Shadows, her and the HOS have an understanding, she communicates with it and it's where she is keeping all the Cat People artifacts that she recovers and restores (given since some of these items are mystical, dangerous, and some are technically from a hell realm; they are safest in the HOS)

So the main things Greer does nowadays is raise her son William (homeschool, supplemented with superhero babysitters giving him lessons as well as he's part of a creche with the cat people in the land within that he visits when she needs to keep him safe as well as provide him a connection with their people), assist with all work coming through the Midnight Mission, some freelance work of her own (she's a hunter/tracker), and recovery of magical tools and artifacts

When I said that Greer was HC based, I mean this. Everything that has happened to her in comic canon reminds, but I've added more to that and beefed her up a lot (mostly to make sense of her being a candidate for sorcerer supreme and an asgardian shieldmaiden)

Also cause it's fun, she can probably dimension hop; just so I can 616 greer meets mcu folks and not have to fuss about my lack of mcu knowledge and the same can go for the mcu folks (considering she can access the land within which exists in the underworld/hades dimension)

anyways headcanoning that even tho bakugo has a super high spice tolerance, he's actually rlly sensitive to hot foods (temperature wise). if it's not borderline lukewarm there's a 70% chance he'll burn himself LMAO. meanwhile midoriya doesn't really like spicy foods, but bc he has the highest general pain tolerance out of all his friends, he can handle freakishly spicy and hot foods like it's nothing. i think he burned all his taste buds off 2 years ago

the sound of water hitting the shower floor gets louder and louder as kenji walks up the stairs of his beautiful house. he’s called your name at least five times, with no response. he figured that you’re taking a shower , which you are. you literally told him that you were going to, but it was fifteen minutes ago and he misses you. so without warning he opens the door, so quietly that you don’t hear it.

the shower door is translucent- so he can’t see you. he sits on the marble sink, back facing the mirror and he fiddles with his phone. you’re about to reach for your shampoo, and as he sees your hand peek out of the glass- he speaks.

“i’m in here,” kenji announces, and he sees your hand falter. your head peaks out the glass now, and you’re scowling at him albeit playfully- but he’s grinning at you like an idiot. just as your mouth opens, kenji’s head tilts and he’s simply admiring you. even from a distance, your eyelashes are all wet and clumped together, your face wet and shiny-

“what are you doing in here?” you ask him,and it comes out softer than you intended. he tucks his phone into his pocket, messy black hair in his eyes. “ i missed you. so i just thought i’d sit here, y’know,” he paused, shrugging almost helplessly, “ wait for you.” you huff a laugh and his smile widens-

“you look pretty,” kenji praised. you look at him with confusion and his heart just thumps harder in his chest. “ it’s actually really annoying. you look pretty all the time,” he adds with a little scrunch of his face- and you throw your towel at him. he laughs, looking playfully offended as he catches it and hangs it around his shoulders like a badge of honour.

“that’s not how you say thank you,” kenji laughs, pretended to be offended. “ and good luck getting out of the shower now, by the way. ‘cause i’m not giving this back.” he smirks deviously, standing. you’re about to shut the shower door on his face as he approaches you but he grabs your face just in time. his hands become wet from your hair, as he holds your beautiful face and kisses your lips with no room for you to wiggle away.

“see ya,” he titters, and you have no choice but to let him slip away as you slink back into the cubicle of the shower- grinning like an idiot- named kenji sato. the love of your life.
