idk if you’ve heard the news story about the 4 month old baby that died of heat related illness after being left on a boat on a 121° Arizona day but anyway the news was treating it like a tragic unpredictable accident instead of the serious heinous case of child endangerment it was. why? probably because her fucking daddy was a cop. I think about the coverage in contrast to that of Shanesha Taylor, the Black single mother who briefly left her children in the car to attend a job interview after her child care fell through and was immediately arrested and eventually given 18 years of probation. this family essentially cooked and killed their infant and posted a GoFundMe and a week later the police are finally like “okay, we’re looking into it we guess”. rest in peace Tanna Rae Wroblewski. her death was entirely preventable at every turn.

spend any amount of time in the comments on the dog side of instagram on a post of a perfectly reasonable (if not really nice!) day routine of an older puppy owned by a working person (multiple walks! training! home for lunch time potty and enrichment toys!) and not only will you will begin to immediately understand why some pet dogs you encounter are overstimulated, neurotic, reactive, separation anxiety riddled POS (babes they are TIRED let them rest), but you will also understand the effect dumbass shelter requirements (home all day? most people do not have that ability...) has had on dog culture as a whole.

like do these people genuinely think working line dogs of any breed do not rest? what do they do with their dogs when they have an injury or illness? old age? i guarantee they have never seen dogs in true WORK (vs sport) where there is often a lot of necessary downtime the dog must be capable of navigating.

They have never suspected Timmy Turner of anything! Despite often expressing regret or disappointment, they still very much love their son! And all the benefits he brings them!!

I know that Andrew is really ramping up the abusive behavior in this episode, to the point of becoming physically violent, and the dude is always been a master mainpulator which makes sense and makes him fascinating - I love how it contrasts with how Ashley cannot lie or keep a secret to save her life and it makes sense because he's always been the peacemaker of the two, the one who has always suffered the consequences of Ashley's actions so he has learned to be a two-faced bastard to keep the façade of the good kid

Tamtawan getting quickly attached to Phi’s family last episode and worked up over/narratively paralleled to a stray cat this episode makes me think we might want to hold off on judging the problematic behavior of a queer character that the story is foreshadowing has legitimate abandonment trauma related to his family, but y’all can post whatever screeds you want, I guess.
