Agenderfluid in the sense that sometimes I want to look like a cartoon magician (the tailcoat top hat kind), sometimes I want to look like a goddess of the deep blue sea who's hair and dress flow so smoothly, they are almost mistaken for water.
And sometimes I just want to be a ghost. Just floating along with a nonexistent/ever-shifting form

Have you ever felt like you wanted to be a lesbian woman and a gay man at the same time, before remembering that you are aroace and NB?
Or am I the only one who feels this way?

Anyone else in the Nonbinary/ Genderfluid communities have a love-hate relationship with your chest?
Like on some days I can see my own chest and think "Fuck I'm hot," but then later in the day think, "Why must I be cursed with these bags of sorrow and misery, weighing me down?"
Like if I could just shape-shift I think that would cure me of my everything

honestly, sometimes gender just feels like a game to me. a roleplay game, a game of pretend, and game where you walk up onto a stage and pretend to be something or someone else. it's not you- nothing in this life could ever fully describe who I really am. I'm just me. but still, people want to see you in a certain way. and playing pretend and roles and acting is fun, especially if you like the role. and I like girls. so sure, call me a woman or a lady or ms or m'aam! but that's not me.
it's just a role I use whenever I have to interact with people, a game I play. It's not real. I don't want it taken so seriously that it changes the way others view who I really am- I don't want my genuine identity to be overlooked in favor of a "gender", which to me is merely a costume.
(this post was much longer before. this sums it up better tho LOL)
edit: terfs fuck off. this is about how i personally felt about my own identity at that time . though my identity has changed i don't want to delete an important part of my journey but seriously fuck off. this ain't about gender being fake, it was about MY own identity feeling fake.

Lets talk about Agenderfluid
coming out of my cage and ive been doing just fine, theres been a lot of cracks at this, which feels correct for an identity that consists of a fluidity within an absence; no one arrangement of colors on a flag is gonna resonate with every person.
Still, I felt the need to try and represent the way I feel with something of my own. I don't do this very often, so bear with me, here. Explaination under the cut:
I see a lot of flags that bring together nice collections of color, or mash existing ones to try and create a combined feeling. I wanted to try and bring the philosophies behind the terms/genders/flags that precede this one, and make something that stays true to the spirit of the original flags, while still true to the new/old identity(s) forming out of it. In the spirit of this, I'd like to take a moment to cite the meanings behind the original flags.
Tumblr media
Agender
The Agender flag is a simple one. Both black and white stripes represent a lack of Gender. Grey represents a semi-genderlessness, and green represents nonbinary genders. This is simple, but I find it somewhat restrictive. It is self-recursive; top and bottom are mirrors of each other, in a way that still feels somewhat restrictive to a gender that is, theoretically, outside of the bounds of gender itself.
Tumblr media
Genderfluid
This five stripe flag is striking and fairly easy to make sense of, with pink, violet, and blue representing femininity, androgyny, and masculinity, respectively. In this case, white represents a lack of gender, while black represents nonbinary identities. I find this interesting; with the throughlines of other flags often citing white as the non-binary color, it is interesting to see that inverted here, as you'd think it would be the reverse.
A Conflict in Color Meaning
If i were to take these flags at face value, in an attempt to make my own, there would be an immediate conflict of meaning; How can white be both non-binary and a lack of gender? How can green be nonbinary when black is? Where do I make space for the some-none-or-bothness of color, without making a flag that's got so many stripes that it'd take all day to explain it? I don't really have solid answers to these questions, but I still feel like writing them, as theyre the questions I had bouncing in my head at the time.
Furthermore, why go to the trouble of making a whole new flag, when there's already so many out there, for a fringe type of gender? I don't know. What compels a bird to take flight?
Tumblr media
Agenderfluid, and the Meaning of its Colors
I've decided to mirror the composition of the genderfluid flag, with five stripes, but call upon the imagery invoked by the Agender flag. It is horizontally asymmetrical, to show that there is no one way or direction to be agenderfluid. The meanings are as follows:
Dark Green: This stripe is at the top; upward in momentum. I wanted to invoke feelings of growth and change, like a plant outgrowing its pot and cracking it to pieces with its roots. This stripe invokes momentum and breaking of boundaries, be those conventions, genders, emotions, etc.
White: This stripe invokes a reflective lack of gender - a gender that is an absence because it repels and reflects it, the way white reflects color. This is a part of a lack of gender that is singular and exceptional - not a part of any gender that surrounds it.
Light Green: In keeping with tradition, this represents a non-binary identity. A gender that falls outside of the sliding scale of conventional gender, androgyny included. To be nonbinary is not necessarily to be androgynous, and one can be agender/fluid under any presentation or combination thereof.
Black: This stripe invokes an absorptive lack of gender - a gender that is a part of every gender that surrounds it, the way black absorbs color. This is a part of lack of gender that is inclusive and connected - in harmony and community with the gender surrounding it.
Blue: This stripe is situated at the bottom of the flag, to represent a fluid, flowing nature. Like water poured from one vessel to another, blue here represents a shape-filling, adaptive nature - the ability to flow through and throughout the channels, vessels, and states that gender may fluctuate through and encompass.
It is my hope that this flag might resonate with some people, and be a thing that can be used to feel together in our otherwiseness - and just the same, I hope that others will see this flag and say "no, thats not quite right, let me try...", which is the truest form of identity to exist.

question, is there a gender where you normally are agender, but have random spikes of being multigendered? or just a gender where you feel both agender and pangender at the same time?
Tumblr media
Agenderflux, also known as librafluid, is a gender in which one is mostly agender, but has a partial connection to a gender and that gender is fluid or fluctuating. It is similar to demifluid but with agender being the static part, and the agender part outweighting the fluid part. Agenderflux individuals often also identify as non-binary, genderfluid, or transgender.
Tumblr media
Gxnderfluid or agenderfluid, is a gender identity that is both genderfluid and agender. One has no gender while simultaneously being fluid through multiple or all genders.
Tumblr media
Multiflux is an umbrella term to describe someone who is genderflux with multiple genders. The genders may fluctuate independently from each other or their fluctuations may be connected in some way. Multiflux includes the terms bigenderflux (two genders), trigenderflux (three genders), quadgenderflux (four genders), polyflux (many genders), and omnigenderflux/pangenderflux (all genders or most genders imaginable) and nonbinaryflux (between binary transgender and nonbinary). Those who do not fit into one of those labels can use the term multiflux as a specific label. Multiflux is a form of multigender.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Panagender, also known as Apangender, Librapangender, Pxngender, is a gender that is both agender and pangender and/or somewhere between those identities. Panagender is an identity that is connected to all genders, but also has a connection to genderlessness/agender feelings. This may also be described as a pangender individual who feels they have no gender identity or a null gender identity, or an agender individual having some connection to pangenderness.
Tumblr media
Pangenderless, also known as Panless, Omnigenderless, or Omniless, is a gender that can be describe as pangender genderlessness, or as genderless pangender-ness. It could be interpreted as being a mix of, or being somewhere between pangender and genderlessness. This definition is similar to panagender. Pangenderless could also be defined as experiencing all possible genderless identities.
And all of these

My agenderfluid ass loves being given creative freedom
I dyed one of Link's feminine outfits purple and I've been mixing it with other clothes

I think it would be better if the green part was yellow or blue but unfortunately I didn't get to change that part

Cannn someone be agender and genderfluid? (And is there a name for that if so?)
Tumblr media
I found this on Reddit. I think you should use whatever labels help you feel the most comfortable to describe yourself. If it's "agenderfluid" of "genderfluid agender" or whatever you chose to identify as, it's completely valid
