my hermit tcg cards arrived and i’m so excited and happy!! i got a signed joe card as well as his holo card, which i’m ecstatic about!! i also got the gorgeous holo xisuma card and all 3 different etho cards (common, rare and holo) which made my ethogirl heart very happy.
(also the collectors edition that came with my order belongs to my sibling because we shared our order to save shipping costs, and since i drew a signed card they got the collectors edition card.)
my sibling and i each got 1 starter box and 2 booster boxes and we've been having so much fun with building our deck and actually playing the game (i have also already destroyed my sibling in a game with the power of time skip)

Hi! Firstly, I love ur headcannons and the way u characterize them, specially Lo and Neteyam. Could you do avatar headcannons of how they would be in a traditional dance festival. (Like would they be dancing, drinking, telling stories, etc.) Much love, xx
hi anon! 👩‍❤️‍👩 and thank you! i’m not really confident in my lo’ak and neteyam, but i’m so glad you like them! and that’s such a cute idea :) i hope you like my take on it. love you lots! xx
avatar headcanons | you attend a na’vi festival
⋆✮↪ neteyam and lo’ak + bonus: jake and tsu’tey
neteyam
he plays songs with traditional instruments. his favorite is the gourd drum. it's made out of the bladder from a sturmbeest his mother hunted, and he plays it at the festival. when you asked him why, he embarrassingly admitted that he’s insecure about his singing voice, so he uses the gourd drum to imitate the microtonal drone in na’vi singing. as much as you like to reassure him, you love neteyam’s musical prowess. he even dedicates songs to you.
he makes you dance with him most of the night. the festival itself is all about dancing to honor the great mother. to neteyam, dancing is one of the most intimate things in the world, and he wouldn’t do it with anyone else except you. when you first arrive at the festival in your beautiful attire, he is sweeping you off your feet. he is swaying to the sounds of the hypnotic music, taking the lead and outshining everyone else. everyone has their eyes on their future tsahik and olo’eyktan.
he shows you off at every chance he gets. when you two aren’t dancing, neteyam is dragging you around to meet his friends from training, bragging about how beautiful and kind and talented you are. in these special moments, you admire how the “perfect child” facade slips away to mess with his friends like how he does with his brother. it wouldn’t be like this under any other circumstances. you’re truly grateful to the festival and the great mother, even if neteyam teases you too. you swear he exaggerates everything.
lo’ak
he teaches other na’vi how to gamble. he learned the whole idea of gambling from his dad. he’d teach you and the other na’vi all about human games like “jackblack” and “poker” and “julepe” using makeshift cards and chips. you were really confused about the rules but eventually got the hang of it. your group of friends would bet simple things, like woven clothes or headpieces. when things aren’t looking so good for you, lo’ak would start accusing other na’vi of cheating.
he turns drinking into a competition. he technically isn’t supposed to drink, but it’s a festival so what were his parents expecting? lo’ak likes to provoke other young warriors into stupid challenges to see can who handle their alcohol the best. they don’t fall for it at first, but lo’ak knows how to push the right buttons. these usually end with a lot of empty bottles. lo’ak always wins, but at what cost? his dignity? his honor? there’s too much to count. you like to tease him afterwards.
he pulls you away from the crowd a lot. festivals can get a little overwhelming, and even the great and mighty lo’ak has his social limits. when his dancing becomes sluggish or his mind is off somewhere else, you take his hand to ask if everything’s alright. instead of responding, though, he abruptly pulls you away from the festival to spend some quality time with you. you two are silent all throughout, but you like to stroke his hair and cup his face to comfort him. lo'ak loves you for it.
jake
he’s coming up with new drinks. driven by his mysterious human knowledge, toruk makto is an artist when it comes to mixing alcohol. he just felt that na’vi drinks were too weak, so he asked mo’at if he could change things up a little at the festival. it took a lot of convincing, especially since it’s a special tradition, but she reluctantly gave in. now not only does the clan adore him for bonding with toruk, but also his excellent drinks. he doesn't even have experience from earth. he just mixes things together and prays.
tsu’tey
he babysits the children. festivals were never really his thing. he just grabs a drink and leaves. before, tsu’tey was obligated to stay for the whole duration of the festival as the future olo’eyktan. since that title was given to jake, he doesn’t even bother to show up sometimes. that doesn’t mean the clan doesn’t put him to work, though. he’s the assigned “babysitter,” as jake puts it, which is ironic since tsu’tey doesn’t know a thing or two about kids. somehow, the clan children still like him.

Hi hi! Fic prompt if you fancy it;
"I know you're used to doing this stuff alone but would it kill you to let someone actually help for once?"
With a bit of whump on the side?
Have a great day :)
Nonny, you definitely fueled my creativity with this, and I'm very grateful, thank you! So, it's not much, but as this was unexpectedly not the only prompt I received today, I thought I'm gonna make a short collection of all prompts resp. fics I'm doing for those prompts. That being said, I will probably use every prompt I've been gifted today, just not very quickly, and I appreciate your patience. So, for the first prompt, have this:
Love Can Only Heal
— Don't be afraid to feel Cause love can only heal —
"You know, I'm disappointed, Evan."
Buck doesn't fancy being a disappointment – yes, he's used to it, just not to hearing it from Tommy. Tommy, standing at the threshold to Buck’s loft, this look in his beautiful eyes. However, it looks more like concern; like honest, downright intimate care.
"D… disappointed?"
Buck is genuinely confused, but he’s also quite distracted. Tommy leans in the doorframe like a high school bully, he undoubtedly has the physical qualities of someone who won’t stop at hurting you with words. Then again, this is Tommy, and besides the somewhat worried gaze, his eyes are nothing but soft. That’s an extremely confusing charisma.
"Are you going to let me in or…?"
Tommy's fleeting gesture includes the hallway and the doors of Buck's neighbors, and for a second, another very contradictory feeling arouses. Buck doesn't want to disturb his neighbors, but he also wants the whole world to see Tommy. Tommy, who has kissed him and whom he has kissed (oh, and way more than that) and with whom he can imagine a host of new things, the most innocuous of which is to make up for the canceled dance at Maddie's crashed wedding reception.
Buck limps to the side and Tommy enters, and as always, his sheer presence seems to fill the loft. It's as if that wide open space shrinks to a minimum until there are only Tommy's eyes, still resting on Buck, but – thank goodness – anything but disapproving.
"If I had a penny for every time you broke your foot, Evan…"
"... you'd have two, which isn't much, but funny that it happened twice," Buck replies automatically, and now they're both grinning, and that's when he knows everything’s going to be okay. He just knows.
"It's not my fault, by the way," Buck adds, limping over to the couch and patting it cheekily for Tommy to sit down, "no one could have guessed that just as I was digging that puppy out of the rubble, there'd be a piece of ceiling coming down."
"Of course you'd rescue a puppy in a burning house that's almost collapsing," Tommy replies softly, and then he does that thing again.
He puts two fingers under Buck's chin, lifts it; Buck's heart beats hard in anticipation of a kiss, but no. Tommy's eyes strangely resemble Buck of the puppy he pulled out of a pile of debris, but there’s also something else in them... it's not really disappointment, it's more like... hurt.
"But I don't quite understand why I have to hear this from Maddie, Evan."
The way Tommy says Evan... if Buck didn't actually feel a little guilty – because now he knows what's going on, now he realizes – he'd probably pounce on the pilot for good. They’d make out on the couch, because that’s basically where Evan sleeps since the accident, and then… Tommy wait’s for an answer, that’s clear. If only Buck’s mind wasn’t so empty.
"I... uh…" Buck isn't particularly good at apologizing. He spent his whole life apologizing for existing, and it never helped.
"From Maddie," Tommy continues, "and not from my boyfriend."
Buck's face becomes as hot as that of a kid caught in the act.
"I just didn't want to..."
Everything Buck might say collapses in his mind like a ridiculous house of cards; the thoughts seem stupid to him. Perhaps that is simply his fate. Maybe he will never get away from being an eternal disappointment to everyone in his life.
"Evan," Tommy says, and there's something in his voice that makes Buck look up, "do you trust me?"
Buck's heart skips an extra beat. Does Tommy know he's repeating the exact words he said to Buck on their first night together? It opened up a whole new world for him. And only now does he really understand how far this goes. Being genuinely wanted. Loved, even, in a completely different way than he is used to.
"Yes," he simply replies, grasping Tommy's hands and holding them tightly, because this is something to hold on to.
"I know you're used to doing this stuff alone but would it kill you to let someone actually help for once?" asks Tommy, and it's still unbelievable that Tommywants to be that someone.
There’s an answer on the tip of Buck’s tongue, and he quickly swallows it. Because yes, sometimes even Evan Buckley can control himself. He could have said that he only broke his foot, that he can still walk (well, limp), that he doesn't need any help. He could refer to their often so different shifts making it hard to see each other more often, and there's Maddie and the rest of the crew to help out, but… That’s not what Tommy meant, and he knows it.
"I'm a lousy boyfriend, huh," Buck says with his crooked grin that defuses many situations, but Tommy immediately shakes his head.
"Evan Buckley, you're everything I want, get that in your thick skull," he says sternly, yet there's that glint in his eye, "and I don't want you to change, all right? I just want to, ugh..."
Tommy is adorable in his embarrassment, gesturing broadly, searching for words.
"I know," Buck says, and now there's probably something in his tone that makes Tommy sit up and take notice. Because he really knows what Tommy wants, and that's something that none of his previous partners ever actually wanted, not even Abby, at least not like this.
He wants to be a part of Buck's life, a real part, not a decoration, not a fleeting affair. Not an exciting party topic, or just the guy you call when you need a place to sleep. Tommy gives his all, he puts all his heart into this. So far, Buck had the most profound conversations with Tommy and, as strange as it sounds, the most profound sex. Above all, though, emotions deeper than anything he’s felt before. Truer than everything he’s felt before. Yes, Tommy gives his all, and that’s why Buck has to do the same.
His phone is lying on the floor in front of the sofa; in this life, Buck will never be tidy, but right now it is lying there very suitably. He takes it, and as he taps on it, he almost hears Tommy's frown.
"What are you doing, Evan?"
"Here," he replies and holds the mobile in Tommy's face. "From now on, you're the first, all right?"
Tommy once told him that he was a pretender for so many years. He’s had years of practice in turning his face into a mask, showing whatever those around him expected him to be, to feel. He doesn't do that anymore, and he knows that he doesn't need it with Buck, something that delights him greatly. And so it is not surprising that Tommy's facial expression quickly changes from irritation to something very, very soft. Well, a bit like a puppy after all.
"Are you sure?" he asks, his eyes seeking the same confirmation as his words.
His name is at the top of Buck's contact list, under emergency contact. Maybe that's only flattering for someone like Buck and Tommy, only understandable for people like them who risk their lives for others and so often fall by the wayside themselves. Tommy understands. He exhales a bated breath, and it sounds like a sweet sigh of relief.
"Very, very sure," Buck replies, and he doesn’t mean just this silly gesture, of course.
He means it all. He’s in it, he’ll give his all. And Tommy?
Tommy knows, and he smiles.

The Perfect Day
Tumblr media
Summary: everything goes your way and your day ends in the best way possible. That’s it. That’s the tweet. Enjoy!😁
Pairings: Mingi x Reader (w/ the rest of the boys towards the end)
Relationship: romantic 💘
Warning: swearing lol
You asked the universe countless times how you were blessed with the best boyfriend in the entire world. Your morning started off with a bouquet of flowers being dropped off at your front door, with a little card attached to it.
“Morning loves, treat yourself to a coffee this morning! I know you work at Starbucks but still! Love you!”
You opened up the card a little more and there was $10 attached to it. You were allowed one free coffee at your work, and some days you needed more than one so the simple gesture was enough for you to be energized for the day. You smelt the lovely flowers and put them in a vase. You went about your morning routine, picking out an outfit you didn’t mind smelling like coffee, and making yourself a quick breakfast before walking out the door. When you got to your car there was another note.
‘Fuck, did I park in someone else’s spot?’ You thought to yourself, double checking the parking spot number. You were in your own spot thank god but what was the note? You opened it up and started reading.
“Took your car to wash up and fill up the tank! Also took out the garbage! Love you!”
At what point and time did this man have the time to sneak into your apartment, take your keys, and make your car all pretty?? You smiled to yourself. He was a sneaky man. You got in your car, and he must’ve added a new air freshener somewhere cause it smelt like forest pine instead of coffee. When you got to work you were shocked at how slow it was. It ended up being a really slow day in general! You had one rush hour but the rush was 4 cars long and everyone wanted a refresher! No coffee! And they tipped well!! You spent most of your time doing inventory and restocking/refilling in the back. You had your playlist on shuffle and every favorite song of yours played one after the other. After 4 hours of puttering around your supervisor let you know you could go home early, and still be paid for the amount of hours you were supposed to work. It was too good to be true. When you clocked out there was yet ANOTHER note on your car. This mf.
“Hope you had a good shift! Wanted to come in but didn’t wanna interrupt your work flow! Talk to you later!”
You smiled and put the note in your purse. When you got home and walked into your bedroom, this FUCKING MAN left a note, a pair of earrings, a dress and a pair of shoes on your bed. You looked at the note and it read,
“I’ll pick you up at 6”
WHAT. THE. HELL. You loved loved loved spontaneous dates, but with their most recent comeback it’s been so hard to spend quality time together. You’d stay at their dorm and be fast asleep by the time they’d be home from music shows. It didn’t take too long to get ready, and by the time 5:59 hit, you heard the lock twist. You turned around when you were putting in the final earring. Mingi has stars in his eyes.
“Wow, wow wow wow,” he said, looking you up and down. You giggled, all of a sudden being super shy. He noticed immediately.
“Aww don’t get all shy on me kitten, look at you!” He said getting behind you, holding your shoulders and pointing you towards the mirror. He kissed your head as he ran his hands up and down your arms. He leaned forward and kissed your cheek.
“You ready?” He asked, kissing you one more time. You nodded as you returned the kiss. You took your hand and guided you toward the door. He opened the door for you and followed closely behind. When you got in the car he drove you to your favorite restaurant. He helped you out of the car before heading for the doors. The hostess lead you both to the rooftop, and when you opened the door you gasped. You were genuinely shocked at how beautiful the rooftop was, but you were even more shocked at the petals leading up to the small table in the middle, with fairy lights swirling around the table and chairs. When you two sat down they brought you complimentary champagne, and not even a minute later, the food you always order was put right in front of you.
“Mingi, this is amazing,” you say with so much awe. Today was a perfect day. He asked how your day was, and you filled him in on his lovely notes, and how work was easy, and everything was just going right. He then filled you in on his day given this was one of his days off. You talked and laughed and enjoyed the gorgeous night. The sun was finally setting and it eliminated the sky with oranges and pinks. You were a WHORE for sunset pics so you got up from your seat to go take a pic over the railing you didn’t hear Mingi behind you until you turned around and this tall ass mf was all of a sudden shorter than you. You threw a hand over your mouth as your eyes pretty much bulged out of your head. Mingi’s eyes twinkled. Was he about to cry?
“Mingi…” you whisper, not even knowing what to say. He gently grabbed your hand and kissed it.
“Y/N…my love…my whole w-world…” he choked before pulling the ring out from his back pocket.
“Will you marry me?” He asked with so much hope in his voice. You nodded rapidly and before letting out a
“Of course I will.” He slid the ring on your finger before you bent down, cupping his face and giving him the biggest smooch of his life. Not a split second later 7 other crack beads busted through the door, screaming their lungs out. You looked up and saw Wooyoung Naruto running towards you, the other guys hot on his heels. He swooped you up as everyone cheered, smacking Mingi on the back. Wooyoung spun you around as you laughed to your heart’s content. Everyone admired the ring and gave you so many hugs, congratulating you both. Hongjoong showed off the pics he was taking secretly behind the window and everyone made fun of Yunho and Seonghwa for getting teary. Your best friends were your biggest support, and now you’ll get to be Y/N Song for the rest of your life.

Guess whose financial mistake arrived early...
Tumblr media
I will give more in depth looks later (I have to work to afford such questionable purchases), but a quick individual review of what I got:
Neil Demon Plushy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not a plush toys collector at all; my closest reference is the IKEA shark. He is heavier than he looks, very sturdy (?) if that makes sense. Doesn't seem like he will deform any time soon. The details are adorable and I don't see any glaring defects.
All Saints Street Hoodie
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Surprisingly large for me. I was worried they only had one size made for the Chinese market. I'm 1.7m (5 foot 7) tall for reference and this is still a bit too big for me. Will likely get too small for anyone over 6 feet tall. The quality is good! Very soft. Velvet interior. I don't know much about shirt stamping, but since it's not in the fabric I'm guessing the stamp might start to crack after multiple washes.
All Saints Street Vol. 1-3 Collection
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now this is something I can talk about more. The sleeve was unfortunately damaged in shipping and the books have very minor damage in the spine and vol 2 has a minor case of dog ears. The quality of the paper is great! It is color paper, not glossy one you see in comic book issues, but it's thicker than the black and white you see in manga. Would still make sure to have a dehumidifier if your storing place is not dry. I've already experienced book wrapping and it's painful.
Tumblr media
Each volume contains around 80 chapters with one extra chapter not on bilibili. They also contain a message from Lingzi and WSJ's editor, plus all character bios even for ones we never got one (Enrique, Eduardo ans Anthony). And if a Weibo post is correct some might have been updated from the ones online (Axel grew 1 cm in the book bio).
Of course later I'll look over everything to see if there are any significan changes to make a note of. Also it came with this lol.
Tumblr media
I have the Alice in Wonderland art somewhere, I'll post it later as well.
All Saints Street Anniversary Playing Cards
Tumblr media
The playing card decks from the 6th and the 7th anniversary. As you can see I haven't opened the 7th, but I got the 6th a while ago on AliExpress so I expect them to be similar.
This is something else I can review more in depth, coming from a family that loves playing poker. The quality of the prints is beautiful, however I keep them in the box all the time because the quality of the cards itself is not good!
The cards feel like store bought cardboard; good playing cards are made out of cardboard, but this deck doesn't have the same treatment. They are so fragile, even by just handling them to get the face cards I've already made slight damage to the edges. I wouldn't play any game with them, much less shuffle them. I don't even want to imagine how much they will bend. Also the Crystal card came with damage (the small white spot on the edge) from the store. Pain.
Anyways. I'll frame the face cards because they are so pretty and I want to keep them in the best condition... I don't know what I will do with the rest of the 36 cards. Maybe practice magic tricks? Lol. Before all this I've been working on how to scan all the face cards and post them, but it's been more difficult than expected. If you have ever tried to digitize prints you will know. Once I have them, I'll post them alongside high quality scans.
When it comes to my review of PandaBuy... On one hand it was an excellent service and experience. On the other... I don't even want to reveal how much the shipping was. I wouldn't recommend anyone else do it unless you are stupid with your money (like me), even then
I would advice to do your own research. PandaBuy and all agents to buy from China are definitely better when you buy in bulk. My package was 'only' 2kg. Many people buy over 10kg to make it worth it. I'm already committed so if new volumes come out I will buy them, and maybe also get counterfeit Gucci shoes or something since that's what most people use this agents for...
That's all for now. Feel free to reply or send any questions you have.

Her love
Chapter 7 - Harold
Tw: Violence
Diana woke up in her bed. The sunlights invaded hers and Harold’s room, and he wasn’t there… For how long did she sleep?
She quietly got out of her bed, enjoying the opportunity she had to be alone to dress herself up and make herself some tea - just like the old times.
Her house was big - it had three floors, with her room being on the last floor. She probably didn’t see everything inside of it, as there were many rooms in it - though she didn’t bother herself from going to some of them - like Harold’s office, even though he himself prohibited her from going there.
She sighed, as she prepared the tea, avoiding thinking much about the past night.
For someone who used all his energy in the past day, it was very weird of Harold to be up, even at the current time…
She poured the tea in a cup, then sat down on the table. She stared at the surroundings of the house. The ambience felt so… monotonous. Of course, the mobile was of high quality, but it was all…gray. She guessed that was Harold’s favorite color, because she could see it everywhere in the house.
She then turned her attention to the table in front of her. Most of the time it was only her who used it - except when Harold would eat breakfast or dinner, but he avoided talking much.
It was weird, though… He wasn’t home, yet she didn’t make him breakfast. The alternative of him doing it by himself was unlikely.
‘It is the wife’s job to do the cooking!’, Harold said once. He was mad at her because she woke up late and he was getting late for work - She wouldn’t have gotten so exasperated with him and accidentally burnt his bacon if she wasn’t sick that day…
But it didn’t matter. That day he somehow learnt to cook, and she could have some time for herself.
When she finished the tea, she walked outside. The rocks added to almost no plants design of the yard made its temperature get high pretty quickly, so she couldn’t be out for too long.
It was while walking outside that she noticed something on the ground. It was a bouquet.
She grabbed the bouquet. It had three beautiful yellow roses - and they came with a card.
‘I know Mr. Fancypants doesn’t like flowers, but I just couldn’t stop thinking of you when I saw these’, the card said.
Nobody signed it, but did it have to be signed?
She smelled the faint perfume of the flowers, as she felt her face warm up a bit.
It wasn’t the first time someone ever gave her flowers, but they had a different intent…
She went back inside to pick a vase, filled it with water and put it on the table outside.
The warmth of the place wouldn’t be good for the roses, but at the same time, it was the only place where she could get less complaints from her husband.
She stared at the vase lovingly. The very vision of it was enough for her to not feel so much happier than before.
“Diana, come here”, she heard Harold say.
She came, already knowing what their conversation was going to be about.
“What is this?”, Harold said with a frown.
“These are roses”, Diana said as she kept her smile.
“I thought we had a deal”, Harold said severely. “No flowers in my house.”
“But these are only three flowers-”
“Where did you get them from?”
“I picked them while going for a walk.”
“Well, then make sure to put them back where they were.”
“And why should I do it?”
“Because you are my goddamn wife!”, he shouted.
Diana crossed her arms. She was tired of that bullshit.
“I won’t throw them away just because you don’t like them, Harold.”
The man said nothing, instead approached her.
She could only register the pain she felt as she covered her cheek, totally caught off guard by her husband’s action.
“I will get rid of these by myself, then”, he said, surprisingly a lot calmer than before, leaving her in that state of shock.
She had to use the all as support, or else she probably would fall on the ground. She felt her eye sockets getting umid.
She looked at her husband with a mix of fear and anger, as he threw the flowers in the trash can outside of their house.

I had NO plan today. I knew I was going to get ink out. And I had some vague notions like
Stamped wrapping paper
Play with new (old) fabric print blocks
Cards????
Test new press!
And I more or less did all of those things. Which wasn't the best use of ink or very intentional but it was good to do some low stakes testing so next time I can be more 'productive' and work smarter.
My sister bought me some ink (and ink plate) as a belated birthday present and it's a different brand to what I've used before but this beautiful silver colour. You can (sort of) see this in bottom row pics left and middle. This has to go on black paper to be really visible, or be a solid chunk of colour, rather than fine fine detail. It also dries really quick. One thing I liked is the way it picked up the old purple stamp pad ink a little to give a sort of lavender quality in the balloon print (wrapping paper for sister). It's really subtle and will be difficult to replicate on purpose, but it's fun to see and good to keep in mind if I'm going to use an ink pad to test before inking.
My marketplace print blocks finds are BEAUTIFUL. You can see those hanging on canvas in top right, and a partial in middle pic. They probably need a softer brayer for better inking, and they need a LOT of pressure to print on thick paper (they're too fat to use in the press) but the designs are gorgeous and they're in great condition. Both of the blocks have a frame like quality, probably originally so a fabric manufactory label could be placed in there or something, and I'm thinking about what else I can place there to make them look complete. Could be a contrast colour print or even some embroidery? Would be very fun to do something simple and ugly/unserious. I also want to see if I can be selective about blocking the ink and use only part of the blocks for smaller prints like in the middle pic.
The press works great, I'm still figuring out what position to tighten the plate into so that it doesn't push around the paper when closing. This could also be helped by some cardboard registration templates to help hold lino still? I can see that I'll want another felt press mat to help with embossing or thicker paper.
I used the last of the good cotton paper I got from my lino class. Most to test one of the wood blocks and it didn't go very well, but I managed to save some for 3 cards. One got wiggled in the press and didn't work out, and the dragon one was over inked and came out a bit fat and under defined. The last one, of 2 eucalypt leaves) went perfect. I also got a couple of gift tags I'll punch holes in and use when wrapping presents.
I've got a huge sheet of thick cotton paper, and two sheets of pale green Japanese paper, both of which I'll tear to size BEFORE I do my next inking session so I've got everything ready and can have a tidy production line. I'll also pick one or two plates to print, and just do lots of prints of those instead of flitting around getting ink everywhere.

eilonwy hands noah an envelope ; the birthday card inside of it is thick , a sign of its good quality . she’s chosen it specifically from cupid’s , having stood at the birthday card section for more than ten minutes in order to choose the nicest one that resembles her friend as best as a card can . the card is a soft yellow , and the front is covered in playful illustrations of flowers , all with friendly faces smiling upwards to the ‘ happy birthday ’ written in bubble writing . inside of it , she’s written her birthday message in soft , beautiful , legible cursive handwriting . the message reads ;
“ dear noah,
every single day i am reminded of how blessed i am to have you in my life.  i could never have asked for a better friend, a better brother.  i hope your twenty-sixth year is filled with love and joy and all of the beautiful things you deserve to have in life.  here’s to the rest of our lives spent together as the best of friends. i love you!
love always, lonnie. ”

the card jupiter hands noah isn’t a traditional birthday card , but instead , one single piece of unfolded card containing an illustration on the front and a plain white back . instead of writing on the back of the card , jupiter has written his birthday message to noah on a piece of lined paper , which is neatly taped to the back . upon further inspection , and upon flipping the page over , the fact that both sides of the page have been covered in writing can be found . the message is written in handwriting that is scribbly and small , yet legible at the same time . the message reads ;
“ my dearest noah,
i wholeheartedly believe that the universe had a plan when it brought us together. i could write pages and pages on how i believe you deserve better than all of the cards that the universe has dealt you, but i could write even more about how i believe that the universe has given me more than i deserve by leading me to you. i won’t.  when i turned twenty-six, i was just beginning to feel like i belonged here in shrike. angel had just started to let me perform to the sparse mid-day crowd, i found comfort in no longer running and chasing whatever mystery tickled my interest that month, and i started to feel at home in my apartment - broken lift and all. the view of the night sky from the balcony truly is amazing, almost as beautiful as the one that you helped me create in the safety of my room. i know that we don’t live in the same old shrike anymore. regardless. all i can do is hope that in your twenty-sixth year, you feel the same kind of belonging and the same kind of comfort that i found here.  after all that you’ve done for me, both before and after everything that we’ve been through, all i can ask for is that the stars guide you in the right direction so that you can find peace and love and happiness and fulfilment and everything else you could ever want.  and because i know some people don’t believe in that kind of stuff, in the universe having any sort of power over any of us (mum and dad always said i was silly for believing) i’ll also be by your side helping that become a reality in whatever way that i can.  you shine brighter than my favourite star.  happy birthday - suppose i should have written that sooner.
yours, jupiter. ”

MEL CHARACTER CARD #1
If you're beautiful, you become prone to jealousy. If you're brave, you get hurt. If you're kind, you get taken advantage of. And if you're smart, you learn to fear everything. And that can't be good at all, can it?
One day, when I was working as guild keeper to the Dream Weavers…
EMMA : Volks-san, I've come with the documents you requested.
VOLKS : Thank you. That must have taken a lot of time and effort on your part.
EMMA : Oh, it's nothing. If there is anything else I can do just, please, let me know.
EMMA : Wow! It's so beautiful! Is that what they call a diamond in the rough?
VOLKS : Yes. the colors are exquisite, are they not? Still needs a good polishing but it has potential.
MEL : Wow, really? So these are the kind of gems you look for, Volks?
EMMA : Mel?
Mel, the Black Fairy, appears, from the key, looking over at Volks' hands with his typically perfect posture and eccentric pose.
VOLKS : Oh, so you're interested in these gemstones too, hmm?
MEL : Well, yes and no. I can't help but wonder how a gemstone can quite have so many obvious flaws...
VOLKS : Flaws, you say?
MEL : Yes, yes. Look closer. Look at that stone right there. It looks pretty at first glance, yes, but there are very fine cracks in it.
MEL : And that stone is tainted with carbon, so even if you were to polish it, it would only sell cheap on the market, no?
MEL : This is utter nonsense, my dear.
EMMA : What do you mean by cracks? And what's wrong with the gemstones containing carbon?
VOLKS : It's a contributing factor to a gem's declining market value.
I looked closer at the gem Mel pointed to, and quickly identified the same tell-tale black spots of carbon within the gem.
VOLKS : You are quite knowledgeable and observant, Mel!
MEL : It's only natural to know this stuff, no? If anything, I'd think it crazier if you didn't know!
EMMA : (I know it's a little late to ask… But surely it has to make Mel suffer always maintaning a pose like that...)
MEL : So… Why is a Meister Dream Weaver and pyroxenite connoisseur inspecting such junk gemstones?
VOLKS : Because these gemstones are not mere junk, Mel.
VOLKS : While it is true that these stones have their defects…
VOLKS : They also shine brightly and have remarkable color among gemstones. Cracks do not make the whole stone worthless.
VOLKS : We aim to maximize on the potential each stone's individual qualities, cutting and polishing them creatively to remove any cracks.
MEL : ………
VOLKS : As for this stone with the carbon, is it not otherwise a beautifully clear gemstone.
VOLKS : The carbon itself is very fine, and I believe it possible to decorate the stone with such elements with careful cutting.
EMMA : I see… So it all depends how you process it…
VOLKS : Yes. To assume the value of anything is to foolishly squander its potential.
MEL : Hmmm? But that's just forcing a bad stone to be something it's not, isn't it?
MEL : A bad stone is still a bad stone no matter what you do to fix it. If it isn't perfect, it isn't worth anything to me…
EMMA : (He's arched his back even more…)
VOLKS : …………..
VOLKS : So tell me, Mel. Which of these gemstones do you think is the most valuable?
MEL : Huh? It doesn't really matter which one I choose, does it? They're all junk. If it's not perfect, it's pointless.
VOLKS : If they're all the junk, and none are perfect to begin with…
VOLKS : Then what does it hurt to pick one?
MEL : ……You're persistent. Okay, then it's this one…
Mel picked the single most boring, plain looking gemstone of them all.
VOLKS : Hmmm. It would seem you have a good eye after all.
MEL : Huh? No, I certainly have eyes and can see perfectly, that's true, but…
MEL : I just picked that one at random, okay? Is this really all you do?
No matter how many barbed words Mel muttered, Volks calm demeanor never shifted an inch.
On the other hand... Seeing Volks look so calm seemed to really be getting under Mel's skin…

PAC #5: What Makes You Beautiful
Today’s reading will be based on the One Direction song, “What Makes You Beautiful.” Honestly, it’s been years since I listened to that song, but I still remember all the lyrics as vividly as when it was all over the radio haha. The main idea of this reading is pretty straightforward: what makes you beautiful! We’re all beautiful in our own ways- don’t let society make you think otherwise! Beauty doesn’t just have to be physical- it can be the qualities and quirks that make you shine inside and out. Please pick one of the four earrings laid out with the first earring being the orange flower. I’ll use my Oracle deck (which I’m loving so far!) and my Kawaii tarot deck to channel some insights and let you know… what makes you beautiful!
Disclaimer: I am NOT a psychic or medium, and I’m still relatively new to the tarot sphere. Each reading gives me the chance to hone my skills, so if these readings don’t resonate (as can be the case with general readings), I’m glad you were here and I hope you have a great rest of your day :) Additionally, I am not a licensed therapist, so please do not treat these readings as therapy.

***If this reading resonates with you, please like, comment, reblog and spread the word!
Pile One: 6 of Wands Reversed, 7 of Swords Reversed, Knight of Cups, Mirror, Throne, Raindrops
So immediately, pile one, I see with the Throne and Mirror, you have endless potential. You may have been feeling self-conscious of your beauty recently, but the cards are telling me that you have to learn to love the body you have and the spirit that resides in it. You may have struggled with positive body image and self-image when you were younger but I see that you are a long way away from that person you used to be. Even if you feel like you aren’t as far along on your positive body image journey as you want to be, you are definitely a long way from where you were. Your beauty lies in your ability to cultivate healthy mindsets and boundaries regarding your body and your health. While beauty standards vary by country and culture, the universal symbol of beauty, physical or otherwise, is health. When you’re physically healthy, you have a fit and strong body and when you’re mentally healthy, your positive energy radiates from within. You accept yourself as you are rather than what society tells you to be and that’s awesome, pile one! You may be a bit of a contradiction, pile one, being both kind and strong, idealistic and realistic. The reason you may be this way is because you’ve walked through hell and back, so you are strong as hell, but you are kind enough to not let anyone else suffer through what you’ve been through. You know those people who suffer through something, but they feel like they have to make everyone else suffer in the same way or even worse? That’s not you, pile one, and everyone around you appreciates that about you! With the six of wands in reverse, I see that you may have had a tendency to take on too much in the past which is why you are cautious about whatever comes your way- while it is good to be discerning, don’t let that interfere with taking charge when you have to! And finally, with the Knight of Cups, I see your loved ones acknowledge your sweet, caring, gentle, and romantic side.
That’s all I have for you, pile one! Please leave a comment, like, and reblog if the message resonates. And do let me know of any ideas for future PACs :)
Pile Two: 8 of Cups Reversed, Page of Swords, 6 of Wands, Sundress, Thorns, Bitch-Fire
Wow, pile two, such badass cards! So I can automatically tell with the Page of Swords, you have an unending curiosity that has to be quenched. You always have a question for everything, and that’s beautiful. There’s a little scientist in you that wants to know everything about how the world works and more. It reminds me of the theme Input from the CliftonStrengths dominant themes personality test. (If you don’t know much about this personality test or the theme Input, I highly recommend you look it up!) With the 6 of Wands card, I see that you garner success and recognition everywhere you go. You may not consider yourself to be a traditionally popular person, but everyone around you sees you that way. And it’s no wonder they do! With the Thorns card, the message says, “weave together the crown you deserve.” You work hard, you’re self-sufficient and you weave your own crown, and seeing this independent aura you emanate is beautiful, pile two. You don’t depend on anybody to make you happy and that is a skill which takes years to master for most people. You stand up for yourself and whatever you pursue, you do it for you, first and foremost. That’s NOT to say you are selfish- it’s not selfish to put yourself first sometimes! What these cards tell me is that you’re not afraid to go against the grain and shake things up. Society needs movers and shakers like you, pile two, to question the status quo and put some changes in place. You’re not afraid to get loud and speak up when you have something to say. Even if you’re more introverted, you still speak your mind and won’t keep quiet when you see injustice happening. You make things happen, pile two, and you have a community of people who recognize your light and cheer you on. Sounds like you have a bit of a fan club haha. And finally, with some cups energy in the mix, I see you have a softer and more emotional side that only your close family and friends can see, and they love you for it. You may even have a nostalgic side behind the scenes despite your futuristic ideas.
That’s all I have for you, pile two! Please leave a comment, like, and reblog if the message resonates. And do let me know of any ideas for future PACs :)
Pile Three: High Priestess Reversed, 5 of Pentacles, 8 of Pentacles, Lighthouse, Phoenix, Garden
So, I see a lot of Pentacles energy for you, pile three, so you could be an Earth sign or have a lot of Earth in your natal chart. Pentacles is often associated with Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn in western astrology, so if this is you, please take this reading as extra confirmation. With the five of pentacles, I see you are a bit stingy with money, but I don’t see this as a bad thing! Even though the five of pentacles is not seen as a great card in tarot, for the purposes of this reading, I see it as having come from almost nothing but you’re making something of yourself. The Phoenix card perfectly reflects this because you are determined to creating your own happily ever after without a Prince/Princess Charming, and like pile two, your independence is beautiful. I also see with the Garden oracle card and the eight of pentacles, you’re allowing your craftsmanship in your skills to flourish just like how plants flourish in a garden with proper sunlight and water (see what I did there;) You’re careful with money because you may not have had enough growing up and you’re always fearful that it can go in the blink of an eye. You have a good head on your shoulders, pile three, and that’s what makes you beautiful, but I see sometimes you have a tendency to be too nitpicky with money. No need to be a Scrooge McDuck, pile three! It’s okay to treat yourself every once in a while, but don’t make it a habit out of it.
I’ve noticed that with all of my piles so far, there’s a hidden side of you that’s the opposite of what you show to the world, and I see that your spirituality is what makes you beautiful to the people close to you. While pentacles and earth energy is certainly materialistic, your spiritual side with the High Priestess card, even though it’s in reverse, can point to having a strong intuition, but because of the nature of reversed cards, I see that you may not trust your intuition when it comes to career and business. While that’s a good, practical mindset to have, sometimes, trusting your intuition can take you places where you never even saw yourself before which is a beautiful thing. I see with the Lighthouse card, pile three, that you have a tendency to doubt whether you’re enough because of the financial circumstances you grew up in, but you must remember to champion yourself. If you’re independent enough to stand on your own two feet after hardship, you can absolutely remind yourself that you’re always enough and that your financial situation doesn’t determine your worth. Even if you have to write “I am enough” on a post-it note and add it to your mirror or repeat it to yourself every morning, that little bit of self-care can go a long way!
That’s all I have for you, pile three! Please leave a comment, like, and reblog if the message resonates. And do let me know of any ideas for future PACs :)
Pile Four: Star Reversed, 9 of Cups, Two of Cups, Voyage, Tree, Mural
***Apologies for the low-res image, pile four! My hand got shaky taking that picture haha
Are you a water sign or a Jupiter Dominant, pile four? Or perhaps you have your Moon or Jupiter or both in the ninth house? If you answered “yes” to one or more of these placements, pile four, please take this reading as extra confirmation. So I see with the Star reversed card, you are a shining light, but because this card is in reverse, you have a tendency to dim your light because you put others first (with the cups energy). It’s beautiful that you put others first, pile four, but don’t forget to put yourself first sometimes! You don’t want to end up like the Giving Tree that gave everything it had until it became a stump and even then, the boy wasn’t appreciative of all that the Giving Tree did for him. Your soft heart and generous spirit is beautiful, pile four, but don’t let people take advantage of you! No matter how genuinely good you are, there will always be people out there who will want to take advantage of your goodness for their own personal gain without acknowledging what you’ve done for them. Stay as far away from these energy vampires as possible, pile four! You do NOT need them in your life and they don’t deserve you.
I also get the vibe that you are wise, and especially if you are young, you might be wise beyond your years. Your wisdom is beautiful, pile four, and you value rich, deep relationships whether they are platonic or romantic. You are a present moment kind of person, always enjoying the life in front of you instead of worrying about the future (as so many of us tend to do!) or getting held up by your past. You may be a free spirit with the Voyage card, and if you have your Moon in the ninth house or you’re a Jupiter dominant, this doubles or triples your confirmation (depending on your placements). You may be artistic, because I see in the Mural card imagery, the girl is painting on her wall with her materials (and her cat!) in front of her. Even if you don’t paint, you may be artistic in other ways- through music, dance, writing, tarot (hehe;), whatever it is, you were born to create something beautiful in this world. You are also beautiful because you let things go- whether it’s regrets, past mistakes, relationships that didn’t work out, or friendships where you were left behind in the dust. Whatever doesn’t serve you, you let it fly, and that’s a beautiful quality to have, pile four. Most people spend lifetimes caught up on people and situations that didn’t work out, but you don’t hesitate to move on regardless of whether you get closure or not. The world could learn a thing or two from you, pile four!
That’s all I have for you, pile four! Please leave a comment, like, and reblog if the message resonates. And do let me know of any ideas for future PACs :)

The Power of Story
The narratives we tell ourselves are the most potent drugs in the history of human existence and I will never stop being blown away by how much of everything always comes back around to "I have created this narrative from an incomplete understanding & must now FORCEFULLY REJECT all evidence that does not align."
And it's never enough for those people that ONLY THEY reject the evidence that does not align with the narrative, because that evidence EXISTING ANYWHERE is a threat to their narrative! So they have to go out of their way to persuade EVERYONE ELSE to reject that evidence too.
So often, the problem is that their narrative, the one they've invested themselves in--maybe even the one they've invested their whole identity in!--is an unstable house of cards, and all their energy goes into trying to fight the wind to keep it standing.
(The wind is everyone else who doesn’t completely agree with and/or has a greater understanding of whatever they’ve based their narrative on.)
It just seems-- extremely exhausting. Like whew, that's an exhausting way to live.
And I can't help but think: if you need to put that much effort into defense, maybe it is time to build a stronger foundation instead. Give yourself back a lot of bandwidth!
When we build personal narratives, of ourselves and our identity, of events, of the world, they need to have flex. They cannot be brittle things! There needs to be room to adjust, a means by which new information can be worked in rather than its existence feeling like a threat.
This is the biggest problem for a lot of people! Because it is in the best interests of a lot of narrative-peddlers to invest us completely in something so inflexible we cannot find community or common ground with anyone who is not ALSO doing the work of defending the brittle narrative! They need everyone to fight with them because they cannot sustain that fight alone without the house of cards collapsing. They need other people to tell them that they’re RIGHT so they can keep their own narrative intact.
(See also: Gaston and LeFou and the villagers in the tavern in Beauty and the Beast--animated version obvs--and then how Gaston leverages the power of narrative to whip up the villagers to march on the Beast, later! Gaston relies on LeFou and the Villagers to reinforce his narratives--that’s he’s the best, and the most perfect, a paragon of greatness. Belle’s rejection, even her quiet indifference!, is a THREAT to that narrative, and he becomes DEEPLY unhealthily invested in making her change her mind, no matter the cost, and the extremes he goes to are a perfect example of all the ways he is NOT the best or a paragon! Actually, he is just an awful person!)
A Small Personal Example: For a long time, I told myself I was only good at one thing: Writing. But then I got a tablet to draw on and WHEW, suddenly I was drawing things that actually looked like the things I was trying to draw!!!!
I could have said: well, it doesn't change anything.
I could have looked at that art and said: it is not pro quality, it isn't at a place where I can DO anything with it, it isn't GOOD ENOUGH to COUNT. I am still only good at one thing.
But instead, I looked at it, and I said: Wait. Maybe that story I keep telling myself is wrong.
MAYBE if I invest time & effort into this, I could be good at it too.
MAYBE I am already good at it, even if I am not AS good at it as I am writing (because I have spent so much more time practicing writing vs drawing.)
MAYBE I am good at something bigger: BEING CREATIVE.
Now, I'm fortunate, because this is a thing that the people around me already saw and recognized, so when I had my big "AH HA!" moment, there were people right there with me immediately to say: YES. YES IT IS TRUE, YOU ARE GOOD AT MORE THAN ONE THING. YOU ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. So when I reassessed my narrative, I had people with evidence at hand to back me up, to encourage me to see myself as something of greater value than I had before.
But that story I had been telling myself for so long had stopped me for YEARS AND YEARS from even bothering to TRY to invest myself in other creative pursuits and directions.
The narrative was a TRAP, and I had caught myself inside it.
Is it this easy to break out of a trap that is rooted in our foundational identity? No. Honestly it is HARD WORK to break those traps and free ourselves, and there are a lot of people around us who have themselves invested in the narratives we’ve told about ourselves--people who want to keep us in the trap because if we break out of the trap, THEY have to reassess things, too, and change the way they engage with us, which requires work on their end to maintain a relationship. It’s not malicious (mostly), it’s just the nature of the status quo. People, communities, even when that community is the size of a friend group or a small family, don’t like when the status quo gets upset!
BUT EVEN SO: Maybe take time periodically and consider what narratives might be trapping you, in the future. Maybe they're personal or maybe they're macro narratives of the world. Maybe they revolve around the definition of what makes a person "Good."
Question yourself. It's important.

September 3rd, 2022. La Habana.
My dearest darlings —
I was so deeply exhausted yesterday that I slept for nearly ten hours, more than I have in a good long time. Luckily, such restful sleep granted me the energy I needed to get through the day.
After a lovely breakfast (my friends, the juice here is made fresh daily. Today it was guyava; yesterday mango), I met with my program once more, and together we walked throughout el Vedado, our university neighborhood of Habana.
El Vedado is truly lovely. The amalgamation of architectural styles would, I am sure, charm anyone with half a mind to that kind of thing. I hardly know anything about architecture and nonetheless found myself affected. The university, in particular, consists of enormous buildings with imposing columns and highly symbolic statues, the different faculties joined by a grand staircase. I am so looking forward to entering it as a student.
We ended our refreshing walk at the ETECSA office, the residence of our supposed SIM cards. Despite having purchased one in August, there continued to be no permanent lines available — and, when I checked my accounts, I found my purchase had been returned to me due to low stock. Tomorrow we shall return here and purchase 30-day options, at the least. We did also stop by an internet park, where I have purchased myself 5 hours of internet for 125 pesos, or about a dollar, usable at any such internet park. The exchange rate at the moment is highly in my favor.
As another note on walking, piropos are unfortunately quite common here. I was warned by the program, but it was still somewhat shocking to hear two calls while walking the several blocks to my program. Interestingly, the "qué niña más linda" was followed up by an enquiring "¿y gracias?". Apparently certain people will demand a thank you for the unsolicited compliment. While unfortunate in its existence, it is interesting to observe.
Another aspect of gendered existence I have found fascinating here is in terms of housework. So far, only A and her mother N have helped with any of it, that I can see; several other students report similar dynamics within their host families. By now, after strong insistence, they let me help with my own dishes; not so for the other students, and I wonder if part of that is down to gender.
After further reflections and a diversity presentation, a hurried lunch, and yet another stop at ETECSA, we were given a strange and quite unclear presentation on academics in Cuba. Although I am still unsure how to navigate the system, the classes are certainly looking fascinating.
With several of the students who live nearby, we finally went to the Malecón, the sea-wall, and saw my most beloved ocean, turbulent and restless as ever. As always, her beauty knows no bounds, and the jagged rocks below the wall only add to her loveliness.
Our first program-led cultural activity occurred in the evening, with a visit to the Fábrica de Arte Cubana. FAC is a combination of nightclub, dance floor, and art gallery, with both a fashion show and cheap alcohol. Our program could not, by law, pay for our alcohol, but they did pay for everything else and did not discourage us from drinking. I did not purchase any drinks there, for their quality reflected their price and I am not fond of cerveza in any case. The dance floor, too, was somewhat crowded for my taste. The art, however, was fascinating — it ranged from photography to collages, printmaking, and paper mache made pf old history textbooks. With plenty of wall art and quotes, I was kept plenty entertained.
Our program leader called us a taxi in an old American car at eleven, not wishing us to stay out so late; yet once in the car, all ten of us jammed together in a very small space and needing to make use of laps, most of us decided to return to the Malecón rather than our homes. The late-night ocean walk was truly wonderful, and I entered into some quite entertaining political discussions with an eternal optimist and a strong pessimist.
One last fun fact: road safety is next to nonexistent here. Crossing the street is entirely up to the walker, with the constant knowledge that "el carro es el rey"; the cars will stop for nothing and no one. If they are honking, it is a symbol to run. Within the cars themselves, there are no seatbelts to be seen, and everyone here really does take advantage of every space in the car imaginable, resulting in extremely crowded vehicles. Good thing Habana is such a walkable city; I could hardly imagine driving here.
Again sending all my love,
MICHA.

Twin Flame 🔥 Journey - July 2022 - Cancer
Your Energy:
The Fool rev - 7 Swords - Judgement
Regarding: Temperance
Both of you have been wrong in this connection, both of you have been the runner at some point it looks like, both of you have had several difficult shadows to face and overcome. You seem to be the one that’s actually faced the blame aspects in this, or you’re right in the thick of facing those parts in yourself. I don’t think your person is quite there yet. You’re probably the more spiritually attuned, which is probably true for any sign that reads tarot readings about it tbh. Your person is still spiritually asleep, who knows if/when that will ever change.
In the past, you were spontaneous, carefree, jump first & think later, no doubt a fun but reckless personality. These qualities got you into several harmful situations, with toxic people, shady behaviors or ways of operating. You were very non committal, possibly addicted to or involved with some kind of substance abuse. It was all fun and games, and you liked avoiding reality, worrying about the consequences later, but later never really came. You just took a pill, drank heavily, or smoked some weed and forgot about it. What problem? Many of you, not everyone. This could be the person your person knows you as. That person is dying 💯 It’s not gone entirely. It looks like you are thick of a mindset of Judgement right now, aimed at yourself and everything you’ve been through this far, the most intense meaning of the Judgement card. You could be going through your Saturn return, or you’re fresh out of it, for some of you.
You’re looking at your past in a way that’s hurtful, but also realistic. You can see yourself and others in new ways, your life has been affected by the choices and changes you’ve made, or not made. You can see things for what they really are, and you’re working on patiently healing those parts of yourself that may have been related to trauma, addiction, things you couldn’t change and even those you could, but didn’t. You’re forgiving yourself, and making the necessary changes to move forward into a more balanced & healthy future. Beautiful energy. We all make mistakes 🙏 You’re definitely more awakened than your Twin, though this may all be new for you too. If they’re the ones being triggered, they probably have no clue what their problem is 😆
Their Energy:
The Devil - Ace of Wands - The World
Regarding: The Lovers
This person has one head, and it lives in their pants, period 🤦‍♀️ They are the quintessential player, could even be polyamorous as a rule, though it may not be something that they’ve ever declared or actually tried. It’s their nature to want more than one person, this way of living could be extremely toxic and involve all sorts of negative or unhealthy things, as far as you’re concerned, or anyone else, but it makes them happy. They fly by the seat of their pants and are uninterested in changing. They do recognize the powerful connection between you, they certainly know they hold some sort of power over you, but they’re so unaware of anything deeper than skin level, they probably assume it’s a sexual thing. You want their body, because they’re amazing 🙄
They realize they lost you due to cheating, or entertaining other options, and they don’t seem bothered by that fact. They enjoy it. They’re not waiting around for you to come back, they’re not interested in the stable & solid foundation you want or have already built, hoping they’ll jump on board with you. They feel it’s unfair you expect them to change. It’s all your fault. They are like an adult sized toddler with the sex drive of a rabbit. I’m sorry you had to deal with this.
Mutual Energy/Outcome:
8 Wands - 9 Pentacles - The Empress
Regarding: Justice
A bit childish sure, but you seem to be the one messaging this person how good you have it. Clearly you keep in touch in some way, and it is Justice for them, they deserve it 💯 You’re clearly doing well financially, there is a lot of growth and success in your life, you’re facing your demons and realizing your boundaries. You are healing, very quickly, and realizing this person offers you nothing but the wake up call that you were already amazing before them, and are so much better having dealt with their bs. Specifically regarding career, you’re moving up, and you’re trying to rub it in their face. That’s exactly the kind of energy to make this dynamic turn around. Once you stop giving to this, and they feel the energy shift and realize everything has changed, they’ll come chasing you again like wait...Cancer, I was wrong. You are exactly where you need to be, and they are nowhere close, haven’t even started, don’t let them fool you. You rising is their cue to begin.
Karmic Cards:
Jupiter - Gemini - 5th House
- Learn or teach what you want to be known with the trust of a child.
- Be positive about what is believed about fun, romance, and making art.
- Grow and expand, use the quickest way and do it dramatically.
Oracle: Grace and Gratitude 🙏
“Through gratitude, joy expands.”
Mirroring your Judgement energy, realize how far you’ve come from where you once were, and practice gratitude for everything you are and have today. Practicing gratitude only brings more blessings and abundance towards you. You realize how this person has made you better, even if it’s through terrible & heartbreaking things. That’s what needs to be focused on whenever they cross your mind 🧡
Messages:
Their side:
- You’re the PERFECT person for me.
- I feel so drawn to you.
Your side:
- Broken Heart 💔
- Ghost 👻
Charms:
Scarecrow 🧑‍🌾 on Ace of Wands is showing how you will affect this person by being successful and changing. Their passions won’t be the same. Maybe even their libido. What they enjoy. They’ll start to lose confidence in their path, why doesn’t it make them as happy as it once did? Why don’t they feel the same things they felt with you, with other people? Once your energy is gone from their level of perception, it’s going to put them through the beginning of their own awakening. I wouldn’t say it’s spiritual, for them, because they’re still looking for someone else to pin it on, it’s Cancer’s fault or some other thing that’s made them lose their spark & inspiration. But, it’s a step in the right direction.
Rose 🌹 on Grace is showing you blossoming beautifully into the person you’re meant to be, and meant to become. There is nothing for you in this person as they are, deep down you know this. Who knows if they’ll ever complete the Twin journey, change, balance their energy, and continue with you. Maybe never. So many people give up on Twin journeys because they either don’t realize what they are, what the purpose is, or what happens in between the relationship & separation/growth periods are too painful, or life altering, there is no healing it. Spirit is saying don’t wait around on them, keep growing as high as you can. You don’t have to end up with your Twin, and in your case, it looks like you’re better off that way 🧡

I’m sad because I’m moving in a week. I’m leaving my beautiful apartment and I’m leaving denver. I’m moving back in with my mom. I made this choice and I believe it’s the correct one. But that doesn’t make it easy. Leaving feels so painful. And on the other side is so much uncertainty.
I have to remind myself why I’m leaving.
I’m leaving to write and to focus on art. I’m leaving to get a break and to focus on healing. These reasons are so worth it. But I’m afraid of failing…
Sometimes I think I’m afraid of the truth of who I am… I’m afraid that I’m all my flaws and not my good qualities. But I know that’s just the fear talking over me.
I have to believe in my talents, dreams, intuitions and good qualities.
But it sure ain’t easy.
I’m stressed bc my last month of employment didn’t go as planned… I’m so incredibly broke and unemployed. The whole point of moving back home was to not work. But I’m going to have to at some point just to pay off some credit card debt.
I’m stressed bc I got an email about student loans coming back. Like financially I’m just in such ruins…
Idk everything feels overwhelming.
I’m sad too bc I just finished the series I was reading. It was SO good. I’m so happy I read it! But now I don’t know how to read anything else. I want to escape into a book and not consider this reality. But where do I escape to?
I’m happy that Rule of Wolves was the last book I read in this apartment. It feels right.
There’s too many endings… But somewhere out there the story goes on.

Weekly Round-up January 7th
I hope y’all had a wonderful holiday season. I know I did. I spent a lot of quality time with my family. I even visited my partner’s parents which was super awkward since my partner had them under grey rock. He had attempted to go full no contact but there is too much manipulation for him to have the ability to do that.
Which brings me to this - If you are an adult child of an emotionally immature parent I suggest blocking them and concentrating on yourself and the family you’ve made. I know it’s difficult. It took me more than one time to block my mother completely. Emotionally you will feel guilt. You will still desire to have that parent or parents as you grow up.
The thing that you have to remember is that they are not a parent. They never were. They do not have the ability to be. By all means, forgive them. Even tell them you forgive them. They will never comprehend what it is you are forgiving them for as they do not have the emotional capability. It gets easier. You will be happier. It's so much simpler than dealing with their cycles and being their pawn.
Now on to fun things!
Over the past few weeks, I lost track of everything I received in the mail so I’m just going to go over the highlights.
Wellness
Larq Pitcher Purevis with advanced Filter - My previous water pitcher was broken due to the lid falling off. I had been searching and this brand came up under gmadeals. The pitcher is normally $168.00. I purchased it for $139.00. It looks like that is the sale that is still on. You also get 2% through Rakuten but I always suggest checking your credit card company as well.
The lid on this is super tight so it does not fall off and the water tastes very clean. Like bottled water. It does not leave any distinct flavors like a Brita filter. For this, there are two filter choices, either $20 or $30, and they need to be replaced every two months. To me, this is well worth the investment.
Sakara -
I’ve canceled Sakara due to a mess of problems. This may or may not happen to you. The food is tasty. I just could not get things straight through customer service. There is one thing I cannot stand when working with a business it is shitty customer service.
I had what I felt was a simple inquiry as I had not received a shipment in a week and a half. We got up to 19 emails (back and forth) and I did not get escalated or offered a phone call. At that point, I had been offered free items and a week of free meals. All I wanted was to know what was actually due to me and when. I wasn’t looking for free stuff.
I was so frustrated at the end I requested to cancel and a refund for anything I had remaining. Someone else did this so I assume it was finally escalated. The really sad part is I would have remained a customer had the first person just called and talked to me for 5 minutes to clarify.
I will continue to order their detox tea because it’s delicious. Do not confuse this with their digestive tea which is not delicious.
Trifecta -
This is what I’m trying now although so far I’m unimpressed. My first shipment did not include breakfast. They refunded me the difference but this was at the point that I was already charged for my second week. We’ll see what happens next.
Other meal plans I am looking into are Veestro and Sprinly. Sprinly looks like it might be more flavorful so I might try them next.
Makeup
I received my Violete_FR Bisou Balm. This stuff is beautiful. The colors I purchased were Guimauve and Calisson. This is a sheer matte lipstick. These colors essentially blend into the lip giving you an MLBB look. The feel of this formula is so good. My only critique is the smell. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it’s a little off-putting when you first apply. I wear them anyway because I love everything else about them.
Because I loved this formula so much I went back to the site and noticed their skincare. I ordered the Boum-Boum Milk. This product is supposed to be a toner, serum, and moisturizer all in one. It is a probiotic-based formula that can also be used in your hair. I cannot wait to try it.
Lancome Lash Idol - This mascara gives me the biggest lashes. I think it’s the brush itself. It’s curved on one side and flat on the other so you can really manipulate how you shape your lashes.
Ciate Wonderland - Also a great mascara. Lashes are thick and separated. The brush is nice. I go back and forth between this and the Lancome mascara.
Melt Four Twenty Palette - I’ve used this palette a couple of times now. Only the mattes so far. They are a little bit chalky and can get muddy when blending. I’m not a pro by any means but I’ve never had this happen. I did the Smoking Sessions and Millennial Pinx Palettes during the 40 percent off sale - which is still going on! They also still have $25 and $75 mystery boxes which are an amazing deal. There is a general description of what is in the boxes but no color options (that's the mystery). I will follow up after I try the other items.
Skincare
Whish Pink Champagne Lip Balm with Bakuchiol - I received this in my Allure December box. I am absolutely obsessed with lip products but this is by far my favorite. It is a non-sticky formula with amazing slip on your lips. The bakuchiol really does help the vertical lip lines. I was able to see this right away.
When I saw this I went to the Whishbody site and ordered the lip mask, lip scrub, and two more lip balms (Vanilla Bean and Pear - these flavors are on sale). The lip mask is more of a traditional balm. It's waxy and melts into the skin rather than sits on top of it. I put this under a lip mask or the Whish lip balm. The sugar scrub is very nice. It’s a fine-grain sugar scrub. It does a very thorough job of exfoliating. Both the mask and the scrub have bakuchiol in them and the jars are 1 oz which is giant for these types of items.
If you are looking for a more cost-effective option. Chapstick has a very nice one -  - you can get it from Amazon for $5. It is a tiny little powerhouse of a scrub. I don’t know what a Sugarplum is or if this tastes like it but the flavor is lovely. The ingredient highlights are Vitamin E and coconut oil. The size of this scrub is .27 oz but as with all scrubs, a little goes a long way.
Kjaer Weis Eye Balm - This stuff is so much better than expected. I have used so many different eye products and I recently tried Vitamin C Lactic Firm & Bright Eye Treatment and it literally did nothing for me. I’ve been using Perricone MD High Potency Growth Factor & Lifting Eye Serum, again, nothing. I put this KW Eye Balm on and immediately I felt the relaxation under my eyes and I was able to see it. The next day I woke up and I still see it. I continue to use it and I continue to see results. I don’t know if I’m seeing what I want to, but to me it looks like the results are compound.
For a more cost effective Eye Balm - I recommend I Dew Care Glow Key - This has Caffeine and Vitamin C. The bright pink formula camouflages the skin under the eye. It has a handy little tool with it. This stuff is great to refresh the eye area, as for heavy-duty ingredients, it just doesn’t have much. It’s more for those in their 20s or possibly when you need to refresh after a hangover ;)
Ella and Mila - I have been using nail stuff to strengthen my nails. It’s working but I am still a chronic nail-biter. I am working on it though!
I guess that’s it for now. Do y’all have any opinions on any of these products? Any suggestions for prepared vegan meal plans? How do you deal with flying monkeys? See ya soon!
